[00:00:01] Speaker A: Wait to see it.
[00:00:03] Speaker B: Hi you guys. Welcome back to another episode of Barely dnd. This is your sort of Dungeons and Dragons podcast.
We are coming back to you from our individual places in different various time zones. And your DM host is laughing and looking for something. He's now.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: My cat.
[00:00:24] Speaker C: I'm looking for my cat.
[00:00:25] Speaker B: Got it, got it, got it, got it, got it.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: My cat is looking for the chair and it hasn't moved.
[00:00:31] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. It hasn't. Until the cat moved it.
[00:00:35] Speaker A: She's a big gr.
[00:00:37] Speaker B: So we actually have a really great letter to question for you today to start us off. And I know it's great because it came from my head. Yours truly, if your care. Can I go ahead and just start it?
[00:00:54] Speaker C: Do it.
[00:00:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Yes.
[00:00:55] Speaker B: Okay, cool, cool.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: You don't have to ask for permission. Also, I like that you slurred every word in really good letter question.
[00:01:07] Speaker B: If your character had a society, what would it be built off of?
[00:01:13] Speaker A: I. That's amazing. I love that. Micah.
[00:01:19] Speaker C: Oh, I understand the question.
[00:01:21] Speaker B: And quite like if you know how the society we were just in was based around the. The value of knowledge.
[00:01:27] Speaker C: Oh, okay, okay, okay.
[00:01:30] Speaker B: Built off of.
[00:01:31] Speaker C: I gotcha. I was. I was slow a little bit, but I. I'm getting there.
[00:01:35] Speaker B: Okay, you're chilling, you're chilling.
[00:01:36] Speaker A: Not everyone has over here being like. Well, probably iron development rock.
[00:01:51] Speaker B: No, it would be.
[00:01:52] Speaker C: No, it would be.
[00:01:55] Speaker B: The.
[00:01:58] Speaker D: J.
[00:02:03] Speaker C: I'm down for that.
[00:02:04] Speaker A: To Jeff.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: Yeah, like, who's J?
[00:02:08] Speaker C: J.
[00:02:09] Speaker A: Let's start with row or nose goes.
[00:02:13] Speaker C: No, it's Abby.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: Okay.
Definitely Abby. So what's Greta.
What's Greta's society built off of? I'm thinking other than greebliness.
[00:02:27] Speaker D: That's a good one.
Probably like expression, I think.
[00:02:38] Speaker A: Okay, expand.
[00:02:43] Speaker D: I feel like Greta is very into self expression.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Okay, all right. That's the full thought. Hard stop. Understood. What's Rose society built around?
[00:03:03] Speaker C: I think, I mean the easy answer is music. Right? Like, I think it would be very much like, like very traditional bard of passing down of stories and history and kind of, you know, kind of along with the knowledge, but more of like not necessarily like, oh, this is exact history book knowledge, but like lore and magic and just putting everything in song and passing it down by generation a family.
Yeah. And like, yeah, I think it would just all surround music and like everyone in the society learns like a different instrument and there's instrument makers and there's.
And it's all just very much like communal as far as like there's like instruments available everywhere for anyone to pick up stuff like that and then also learning how to fence, because that's how they did it at the orphanage.
I thought I would get more of a laugh out of that.
[00:04:25] Speaker B: Muted.
I was laughing really hard. I was just beating.
[00:04:31] Speaker C: I appreciate it. Thank you.
[00:04:36] Speaker E: Is it my turn or is it Mike's turn?
[00:04:39] Speaker B: Whose turn is it? You pick.
[00:04:41] Speaker E: You.
[00:04:43] Speaker B: Okay, I go.
I feel like the first thought, obviously, that came to mind was, like, rocks. But I really think that Craig's is the loudest person wins.
You know when. You know when you're in an argument with someone and they think that they're, like, them, being really loud means that their argument is, like, stable and, like, truth.
I feel like Craig's. I would be like, the democracy. Like, when someone's being voted to be, like, the leader or president, it's really just like, who's the loudest and talks the fastest and, like, has the last word. Um, but then also on the flip side, I think strength and, like, therapy.
[00:05:36] Speaker C: Nice.
Yeah.
[00:05:38] Speaker D: So is it, like. When you say strength, do you mean, like, physical strength?
[00:05:42] Speaker B: Physical. Physical strength, yeah.
The end.
Landon, that's your cue.
[00:05:57] Speaker E: Oz is libertarian, so he doesn't believe in society.
[00:06:00] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[00:06:05] Speaker E: But if he did believe in. Y'all were supposed to laugh because that's. That's not what libertarians believe.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: I did.
[00:06:10] Speaker A: I did laugh.
[00:06:11] Speaker C: I did.
[00:06:12] Speaker B: Okay, that time. That time I was muted and I. I did laugh.
[00:06:18] Speaker E: Boz would build his society off honeycomb, I guess.
[00:06:24] Speaker C: Wait, real honeycomb or like, the honeycomb?
[00:06:26] Speaker A: Micah laughs at all of our jokes. She's just always mute.
[00:06:29] Speaker D: Everything would be like. Like, everything would be honeycomb.
That's pretty cool. That's pretty cool.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: We built this city.
We built this city off of honeycomb.
I realized now why I couldn't play any of my files. It's because I moved their folder location, and Kenku pulls them from specific folder locations, so all the folder locations are invalid. So I was updating those frantically. If I sounded less commenty than usual.
[00:07:01] Speaker C: I was hoping you were okay.
[00:07:03] Speaker A: His society off of NAS would build a society off of.
I think, practically speaking, just like a trade economy. Not like a. Like. Like. Like. No, like, you trade your good. You trade your services. There's no clear, like, currency system, because I don't think that's even on NATS wavelength. But from a value standpoint, I think you would build it off of.
I think he would build a trade culture. And, like, what I mean by that is that I think he would build a culture where the thing you had to Offer the person next to you was the most valuable thing you had to offer. So, like, what I mean by that is that like. Like he's very about. Like, he loves his expertise and his craft, but if someone else had a different expertise in craft, that would also be important to him. So, like, I think it would be not just a culture of performance. Like, musical performance is the only thing that matters to him, but like.
Like specializing in the thing that matters to you.
I'm just describing an economic system. I don't know. That's his answer.
It'd be very relational. It'd be very.
[00:08:26] Speaker D: That sounds like.
[00:08:29] Speaker A: Like, that sounds hippie commune.
[00:08:32] Speaker D: It sounds. That sounds.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: It's not a better economic system. You can't build a retirement around it. But it would be.
[00:08:37] Speaker D: But it. Like, it sounds very. Like it relational. And it sounds like people are fulfilled at small scale.
[00:08:43] Speaker A: It'd be very relational and fulfilling. It would not work at a large scale at all, but it'd be really dope at a small scale.
[00:08:48] Speaker D: We didn't say I had to be a big society.
[00:08:51] Speaker A: No, we thought at all. Dodd, this is.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: I'll go ahead.
[00:08:58] Speaker C: You.
[00:08:58] Speaker B: You got that? I believe in you.
[00:09:01] Speaker A: Several actions and all adventures.
No taking nids. This is episode 137. Sinking feeling.
No, no. Like, sinking feel. Have you ever heard someone say, like, oh, my goodness, this party's gonna be so good. I have a sinking feeling.
[00:09:18] Speaker D: Yeah. And it's always bad.
[00:09:20] Speaker C: I have a sinking feeling this ship is going. No.
[00:09:25] Speaker A: Or like, I have a sinking feeling I'm gonna have a really, really good lunch and it's gonna be tasty. You've heard it.
[00:09:30] Speaker C: Yeah, I've never. Maybe a dog thinking feeling in the guys.
[00:09:35] Speaker B: I think he knows that.
[00:09:37] Speaker A: Yeah, no, that was sinking feeling. Isn't.
[00:09:39] Speaker E: They know that. He knows that. They're trying to just buy time so they don't have to experience the reality of what he has planned. And Zach is loving it because he knows that reality is inevitable.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: So.
[00:09:50] Speaker E: So he'll entertain it.
[00:09:51] Speaker C: But what if they know that we know?
[00:09:55] Speaker A: Just go for it.
[00:09:56] Speaker B: Besties.
[00:09:58] Speaker E: Can I pre roll initiatives?
[00:10:01] Speaker A: Yeah, go ahead and roll initiative.
All of us, in case.
[00:10:05] Speaker B: Shoot.
[00:10:05] Speaker A: No, no, just Landon.
[00:10:07] Speaker B: Yes, just Landon. Just landing. You guys.
[00:10:11] Speaker E: I got a 16.
[00:10:15] Speaker A: Okay. Boz has a 16. If there's any initiative. That's boss's initiative.
That's a really great initiative. So.
Okay, well. And for the record, that's how Daniel does combat. He rolls it. At the very beginning, he just. He just says, okay, everybody, roll initiative. And if we have combat. That's our combat initiative.
[00:10:39] Speaker C: Because I know he's even messaged in the discord before. Like, will y'all roll initiative before we go?
[00:10:47] Speaker A: He doesn't hide it when we. When we have sessions. He just has the battle maps out on the table right when we start. And he's. He just. He's like, yeah, you're having combat today, but anywho.
So dates3488.pb.si, hadron the third.
The date is toppip.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: No, it's a mech.
[00:11:13] Speaker A: It's a mech.
[00:11:13] Speaker D: This is true.
[00:11:15] Speaker C: Yeah.
Sorry.
[00:11:17] Speaker A: I now feel uncultured.
[00:11:20] Speaker C: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.
[00:11:22] Speaker A: Don't apologize. I'll never be upset. Somebody deeply knows my world.
[00:11:26] Speaker C: Sorry. That was. That was roseplaining.
[00:11:29] Speaker A: Jackie, Jackie. It's really.
[00:11:31] Speaker C: It's rose.
[00:11:33] Speaker A: It's like mansplaining, but greener and smaller.
[00:11:36] Speaker D: I love things that are green, small, like plants, like snails, like some caterpillars, like some butterflies that.
[00:11:49] Speaker A: I did the thing again where I'm not playing this in general.
Now everyone can hear the music.
[00:11:53] Speaker D: Like, my dice. My dice are green and small.
[00:11:56] Speaker B: I don't hear music.
[00:11:59] Speaker A: You. It just joined the chat. You may need to turn it up. Remember, on the left in Discord, you can always adjust the volume that Kenku is playing at.
[00:12:10] Speaker C: Wait, what?
[00:12:11] Speaker A: Micah just. Micah just leaned over to her mic and went.
That was it.
[00:12:15] Speaker B: No, I didn't. I said heard.
[00:12:18] Speaker A: Okay, well, what came through was I did not burp into the mic.
You said that I had to burp. That was crazy. Do that again. How'd you do that? That was nuts. You just cast command on me. That was nuts.
Okay, so fun, guys. You are sailing.
Could.
Yep. Jackie, were you trying to say something just then?
[00:12:50] Speaker C: I was singing. I'm sorry.
[00:12:52] Speaker A: Okay, you have your coordinate on the. Kenku is deafened.
[00:13:00] Speaker C: I can hear it.
[00:13:01] Speaker D: Micah, you probably have it deafened on your computer.
[00:13:04] Speaker C: Yeah, because I'm listening because it was playing earlier.
It's playing for me.
[00:13:11] Speaker B: That's okay. I can imagine.
[00:13:13] Speaker A: I'll sing it in my head, Unmute it. If you left click it or right.
[00:13:17] Speaker B: Click it, as I'm literally doing that. It's okay. It's okay. No biggie. It's no biggie.
[00:13:22] Speaker F: All right.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: Try adjusting the user volume. But I bet you're right.
[00:13:26] Speaker B: I assume Cecilia here right now also.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: I just want to let everyone know when Micah was trying to hear it just then, she turned her ear toward her microphone. You went, I hear it.
[00:13:37] Speaker B: Don't Call me out like that. Why would you do that? They can't see me.
They don't need to know that.
[00:13:45] Speaker A: Nobody's gonna know.
So fun. Guys, you are sailing in the poor bet.
Greta, you just have that bowl with the sand sifting along the edge, and it's guiding the ship, and you all sail.
I need. First of all, could one of you guys roll me a D4?
[00:14:10] Speaker D: Can I do it?
Actually, I'm afraid I'll be responsible.
[00:14:15] Speaker C: Yeah, the last time I rolled a D4 on a ship, bad things happened.
[00:14:21] Speaker A: You got a what? Four.
Okay, excellent. Now, Micah, could you roll me two D8 plus eight?
So eight's the minimum, and then whatever you get on your two D8 roll will add on.
[00:14:44] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:14:48] Speaker B: Hold on. I only had out my main. Boys.
[00:14:52] Speaker C: Oh, boys.
[00:14:54] Speaker A: Greta, did you mark off your material component for your casting?
[00:14:59] Speaker D: I did not. Let me do that.
[00:15:02] Speaker A: Please do that.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: You said it was two D8 plus eight.
Okay, so that'd be 12.
[00:15:10] Speaker A: Okay, 12 total.
It takes not quite two weeks to sail where you're going.
[00:15:18] Speaker D: Oh, and the thing lasts for that long?
[00:15:22] Speaker A: No.
So, I mean, you get a vision just once of a thing, but the. The vision can extend to an event within seven days. So I'll say that that's how long your indicator lasts, your navigatory indicator.
So you can simply recast it. It will just cost more components. Or you could try and pursue a different method of navigating.
[00:15:51] Speaker D: So I'm going to say that Greta knows this, right? She understands that, and she works with Ro while she has the com in the seven days that she has the compass, she works with rogue teachers and Rowan Schmider to try and, like, find a way to, like, confidently.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: Not in that vein. Row with the world map. You guys have making a very rough cap copy. You begin using your navigation skills to plot out a heading course based off of different readings every so every hour or so from the bowl of sand in your trajectory, you use that, along with a real physical compass you guys have in your inventory to start directing a larger path of travel so that when the bowl of salt runs out, you have a heading course. So this is going to be a survival check. Now, you have advantage on this because ship gooar is helping you.
[00:16:45] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:16:47] Speaker A: And okay. Yeah. So. So go ahead and let me know what your role was.
[00:16:55] Speaker D: Can I cast guidance as she's. As I see her doing this? Cast guidance as I see her.
[00:17:04] Speaker C: Not 20.
[00:17:08] Speaker A: It's been a hot second since a crit.
[00:17:10] Speaker C: And then with the guidance and my multifier that's going. You said survival, right?
That's gonna be a 27.
[00:17:21] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. Dude, that's crazy. Also, what did you. What are your hours for navigation at?
[00:17:30] Speaker C: Right now they are at 100 and wait, why do I have it twice on here? Oh, here it is. I'm sorry. I couldn't read my own writing.
125 hours.
[00:17:54] Speaker A: Okay. Out of. Does it say how much?
[00:17:56] Speaker C: It says out of 250.
[00:17:59] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead and roll 3D12 for me. As you say all of these days. And then whatever your total, add it on. Okay.
With a 27 you do after the bowl of long. After the bowl of sand runs out, you all sail expertly forward. Greta, you get the feeling once you get like there an estimated closeness of the region to which you're sailing, you're probably going to need some other method of locating exactly where the group needs to go in. But you are. You feel very confident that you are maintaining a correct course as you sail there. You all have to sail all the way around the Sandorian island chain and for much further distance on still. So you guys do almost two weeks of sailing. Are there any key events that anyone does in that time or.
No, we're just. We're sailing back on the poor bed again.
[00:18:52] Speaker D: Greta is trying really hard not to distract Ro from any of her navigation duties. But any chance Ro doesn't need to.
[00:19:00] Speaker A: Do it 24 7. It's. It's like a thing she checks in every so many hours.
[00:19:03] Speaker D: Any chance that RO is. Anytime that RO is free, Greta is. Yes, Greta is asking to live on.
[00:19:13] Speaker A: This is 12 days.
So I mean, Ro does need to be guiding or helping Shuba Goober guide fairly often. But it goes in shifts and the basic headings are explained to Bill, Free and Plof when they helm as well. So there's plenty of time to do otherwise. You all can both roll.
What is your.
You can roll your intelligence modifier? Plus 4D6. 5D6. This is a lot of time.
[00:19:44] Speaker D: Oh, intelligence plus 5D6.
[00:19:48] Speaker C: Wait, who do we.
Which one rolls?
We had said before you want.
[00:19:55] Speaker D: You want to roll three.
[00:19:56] Speaker C: And what's your intelligence modifier?
[00:20:00] Speaker D: My intelligence modifier.
[00:20:05] Speaker A: Greta's got the higher intelligence.
[00:20:07] Speaker D: She should roll is plus six.
[00:20:09] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah, mine's plus five.
[00:20:10] Speaker D: So it's 5D6.
[00:20:12] Speaker A: She used her mega powerful ability score increase to bump the snap instead of any of her spellcasting abilities.
[00:20:20] Speaker C: Talk about it.
[00:20:21] Speaker D: So what 5D6?
[00:20:24] Speaker A: 5D6 plus 6.
[00:20:26] Speaker C: I have. Right now we're at 68.
[00:20:32] Speaker A: While they're doing that, Craig, you are working out all these days, right?
[00:20:37] Speaker B: I am. I'm really strong.
[00:20:41] Speaker A: That's true. You are really strong.
Okay, add on 18 more hours of celestial.
So as you do 12 days of working out row, you also do 12 days of working out.
So go ahead and roll 8D4 for me because that is a lot of working out.
[00:21:06] Speaker C: Me or Craig.
[00:21:09] Speaker B: You'Re working out with me, right? Yeah, you would be there, too.
[00:21:12] Speaker A: And Craig's. Craig has. Craig, what's your strength score?
[00:21:17] Speaker B: My strength score is a really good strength score of 20.
[00:21:22] Speaker A: Yeah, he's not trying to get any stronger. He's literally as strong as you can.
[00:21:27] Speaker C: What am I rolling again? You said. I'm sorry.
[00:21:29] Speaker A: Sorry. 8d4.
Boz or Craig, are you guys up to any additional activities in this time?
[00:21:46] Speaker B: I think Craig is doing some emotional.
[00:21:50] Speaker A: Work to the side.
[00:21:52] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:21:53] Speaker A: Emotional work to the side.
[00:21:54] Speaker B: Doing. He's doing a little bit of journaling, and then I'd say he's going to go hang out with, like, free and plot and, like, catch up with people and spend some, like, intentional time just, like, asking how they're doing if being a C has been okay for them. Just catching up.
[00:22:12] Speaker C: I got 23.
[00:22:13] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:22:15] Speaker A: Okay, 23. You can add those hours under your workout hours, bro, what are you out of? Out of what?
[00:22:24] Speaker C: I'm doing the maths right now.
I'm at 122. Out of 322.
[00:22:33] Speaker D: Oh, wow.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: Okay. Heck, yeah.
Craig.
[00:22:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: As you. Ooh. And Jackie, I didn't have you roll for the time that you were in the lost lands. Were you working out with Craig there each morning?
[00:22:52] Speaker C: Yeah, probably. I mean, probably not every morning. But if we. Depending on what we were doing, go.
[00:22:58] Speaker A: Ahead and roll 15d4 for me. You can roll it electronically if you want and then add that on your total as well.
[00:23:04] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:23:05] Speaker A: Craig, as you interact with Bill 3 and plough there is a lot of fun. They teach you beggars hope, and you're finally getting it so that you can play with everyone else. My gosh.
[00:23:13] Speaker B: Yes, finally.
[00:23:15] Speaker A: But also, it's just a lot of sailing. Everyone's very glad to have everyone. Like, the crew's clearly happy to have you guys back. They missed you guys. Um, so Craig, Bill, Free and Plough wind up starting kind of like a wrestling tournament.
[00:23:31] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:23:32] Speaker A: And bro, they let you participate. They clearly take it easy on you. But since you've been working out with them every day, you're kind of, like, into this club with them. Ish. So it's not like you can beat anybody, but they start teaching you, like, how. How to grapple effectively, how to pronounce, how to wrestle, and, you know, you don't really stand a chance against anybody but Craig. There's just daily wrestling matches and they start keep, like, score of like, who has the most, and it's like who can get to the most pins in 12 days.
So why don't you go ahead and roll an athletics check for me, Craig?
I'll roll for.
Oh, Bill free. Got a 22.
[00:24:17] Speaker B: Hold on to your pants, cuz.
Oh, boy.
[00:24:23] Speaker F: Hold on your pants because 20, 27.
[00:24:27] Speaker A: 27, 27.
[00:24:30] Speaker B: Guys, I'm proficient in athletics and I already have a plus five, so.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: Yeah, that's pretty killer.
Thanks, Craig. At. At the. Bill Free beats out ploth by five or six wins in 12 days, but Craig beats them both by more than 12 wins.
[00:24:49] Speaker D: Wow.
[00:24:50] Speaker B: I could probably bench press both of them.
[00:24:54] Speaker A: Yes. You dominate the competition, boss. While all of this goes on, at some point, is there anything particular you're doing in the course of these 12 days or just. I'm just bozing.
[00:25:11] Speaker E: Oz is definitely trying to spend time with each of the staff while he's there.
[00:25:15] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:25:17] Speaker E: Like, with what they're doing, like, trying to spend time. Just walk around with them, sit down, talk, drink, eat, laugh.
[00:25:25] Speaker A: Coober talks your ear off. He does, with all of you.
At some point, Nam gets her attention and she says essentially, hey.
[00:25:37] Speaker D: Hey.
[00:25:38] Speaker A: Pause.
And her head's just, like, protruding from the branches below deck, which is a sentence I never thought I'd say.
Hey, could I.
[00:25:49] Speaker F: Could I get your take on something?
[00:25:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:52] Speaker E: What's going on?
[00:25:55] Speaker A: What do you think our odds are at this point?
[00:25:58] Speaker B: Oh, boy.
[00:26:00] Speaker E: Like the world or like, going to somewhere else?
[00:26:03] Speaker C: Us.
[00:26:04] Speaker F: I mean, I don't really care about the world, but us. What do you think our odds are? Making an ad on this?
[00:26:09] Speaker A: Oh, I mean, you're the real zero here.
[00:26:17] Speaker F: Well, okay.
[00:26:19] Speaker E: It's not zero.
[00:26:20] Speaker F: Yeah, well, that's good.
[00:26:22] Speaker E: I mean, I honestly don't. I.
I don't know, actually.
Like, I genuinely don't. I. I don't know.
[00:26:33] Speaker F: Okay. All right.
[00:26:35] Speaker A: What do you think you're gonna do?
[00:26:37] Speaker F: Well, I mean, yeah, I mean, I. I get the tail end of the stuff you guys talk about, but it doesn't sound good.
If you live, what do you think you're gonna do at the end of all this?
[00:26:51] Speaker E: Probably wait for the next thing.
[00:26:57] Speaker F: Like on this ship?
[00:26:59] Speaker E: No, like. Like there's always. I feel like. I don't know. Is there always, like, another thing.
Like, another bad thing to do, like beat up or.
[00:27:08] Speaker F: Oh, you're just going to keep doing. You're going to. You're going to do more of this?
[00:27:11] Speaker E: I don't know. I don't know what else I'd do.
[00:27:15] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:27:17] Speaker E: I mean, I don't know. What are you going to do when all this is over? We win. And, you know, we're like. All the platinum is there. People are tossing on the boat and saying, we love you guys. Thanks. What are you gonna do after that?
[00:27:33] Speaker F: I don't know anymore. That's what I'm trying to figure out. You know?
[00:27:37] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:27:39] Speaker E: Didn't you say you baked for a long time? Do you miss that?
[00:27:43] Speaker F: Yeah, it's good. I mean, I don't know if I'd do that again. It's hard to be a goblin in baking. But I was good at it. I really liked it. I loved it a lot.
Yeah.
I don't know. I was just curious. Curious what you'd be doing at the end of all this.
But that's fine. I mean, you know, some people gotta go where the.
[00:28:01] Speaker A: Where the.
[00:28:01] Speaker F: Where the waves take them.
[00:28:03] Speaker D: All right.
[00:28:03] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:28:04] Speaker E: Here's what I ask. I think you'll be able to do whatever you want to.
[00:28:13] Speaker F: Yeah, we'll see. Thanks, Paz.
[00:28:16] Speaker A: All right.
[00:28:16] Speaker E: How's the tree?
[00:28:18] Speaker F: That's really freaking good.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: Thanks.
[00:28:23] Speaker F: This is the best thing on this boat.
[00:28:25] Speaker E: Oh, good.
[00:28:26] Speaker A: Bass. And this little green hand just thumbs up outside of the branches and pulls back in however many days in, by your calculations, row, you gather that the group should be growing near to the point you're headed.
The region, the realm.
Based on the demarcations and the calculations you have for the movement of the map. When the group gets close to the area, you're headed for the realm.
What is the group doing to try and find the drop point?
Are they doing anything to prepare? Are they going peepee poo poo guy?
[00:29:08] Speaker C: Wait. I have a question for everyone that's standing around as we get nearer. And, like, right now, we're trying to find a place. Should we maybe not have, like, the ship right over.
You know her because of everything Greta.
[00:29:31] Speaker A: Was talking about with the.
[00:29:32] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. Like, I don't want to put the crew at risk, you know, Like, I. I want them out of harm's way. If. If. If someone down there gets mad and decides to pull the ship down, I'd rather her not do that.
[00:29:46] Speaker A: Is there a way that we could get toward it without a ship?
[00:29:51] Speaker C: Well, if we could breathe underwater again or something. We could go diving down and trying to see.
Trying to see something or.
[00:30:04] Speaker D: How did we.
[00:30:06] Speaker C: Or if we could. If balls. How do you feel about.
Didn't you summon some friends last time that helped us get there or.
I think that's probably where we needed to go.
[00:30:16] Speaker A: Oz brought those sharks that we rode all the way down.
[00:30:19] Speaker C: Yeah, they were like. They were like sea horses.
[00:30:24] Speaker A: This is really freaking cool, actually.
[00:30:26] Speaker E: You want me to animal summon? You don't like when I lay eggs, but when I summon sharks, that's.
[00:30:31] Speaker C: That's. Well, I don't want to. You know, for you, that's totally different.
[00:30:35] Speaker A: I'm not eating, which is a low five. Over to boss and goes, got them across.
[00:30:46] Speaker D: We'll probably need to, like, have water.
[00:30:50] Speaker E: If he wants to get this going.
[00:30:51] Speaker A: I'll keep it going. Okay.
Because I don't breathe underwater otherwise.
[00:30:57] Speaker C: Yeah, me neither.
[00:30:59] Speaker D: I mean, we could either polymorph into animals. I mean, we could either change into animals that do. We could breathe underwater.
[00:31:10] Speaker A: Well, but what happens when we're not the animal at some point?
[00:31:13] Speaker C: Yeah, that's the problem. Yeah, it's. It's not very long, you know, it's not as long, I think, as like, breathing underwater.
[00:31:20] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:31:21] Speaker A: What if we, like. Hear me out, guys. I'm just speedballing, using some tilo thinking here. What if we, like, flew ourselves out so far so the boat's not going? Then we dropped with the preparation and whatever we needed to do to breathe the water. Then in the water, we figured out the way down.
[00:31:38] Speaker C: I think that sounds good. Yeah.
[00:31:41] Speaker A: I don't mean to brag or anything, but I've been paying attention, guys. I've been. I've learned something.
[00:31:45] Speaker D: You're good, Teller. You're good.
[00:31:47] Speaker C: No, I like it.
[00:31:47] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:31:48] Speaker A: More than just shoot at the balls.
[00:31:49] Speaker C: You know, you're more than just a pretty face, Tello. You really are.
[00:31:54] Speaker A: But I am a pretty face.
[00:31:57] Speaker C: Humble, too.
Okay. Yeah. Should we leave, guys? What? All I feel like we should take minimum.
I don't think we should take anything with us that we don't need.
[00:32:19] Speaker A: I'm traveling light. Armor, weapons. That's it.
[00:32:22] Speaker C: Like, I'm not gonna take my bag. I'm gonna leave that here on the ship. I'm gonna just take my. My weapons.
[00:32:30] Speaker A: Make sense to me.
[00:32:32] Speaker E: What if the ship sinks.
[00:32:37] Speaker D: Away?
[00:32:37] Speaker C: That's why we should keep this ship away. You mean, are you worried about our stuff, or are you worried about the. The. The living, breathing souls of our crew?
[00:32:46] Speaker B: She got you there. She Got you there.
[00:32:52] Speaker A: Tell reaches a low five over the row and goes. Got him. And he does the finger cross for us.
[00:33:00] Speaker C: What do you mean, boss?
[00:33:01] Speaker E: What?
[00:33:02] Speaker C: What? What do you mean, what?
[00:33:05] Speaker E: I don't understand what you said.
[00:33:07] Speaker C: I. You said, what if the ship sinks? That's why we're gonna not have it. That's what I was saying all along, that we shouldn't have it sitting.
[00:33:16] Speaker A: How are you sure?
[00:33:17] Speaker E: It's like in the. Like, let's say that like you're like, where we're going is the bad spot. And like actually, what if where we're going is the good spot and this is the bad spot and we just have the map wrong and now we leave.
[00:33:31] Speaker B: This is the bad place.
[00:33:35] Speaker C: Well, that's why I think. Well, what. Honestly, what I think we should do is maybe once we leave the ship, like we Polymorph or whatever, we have Spagoober, just hightail it as far away from here as possible.
[00:33:50] Speaker D: I mean, I wouldn't want to. I would only want to do this if we were gonna have some rest, but I can always like look again and see how close we.
I have plenty of incense.
[00:34:04] Speaker E: I'm keeping my stuff on me.
[00:34:08] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:34:09] Speaker E: I think.
[00:34:10] Speaker C: I mean, I just can't. I just can't carry my bag like underwater. My songbook and everything will just.
[00:34:18] Speaker E: Isn't it magic?
[00:34:20] Speaker C: Just not. Not my magic.
It's my songbook.
I left it on the ship last time we went underwater and fought.
[00:34:33] Speaker B: As I said, there's one way we can figure out. Let's pour a cup of water over. Get that. Get something from the ocean.
[00:34:39] Speaker A: Magic items will survive underwater.
[00:34:43] Speaker E: Do we need to consider water damage? The items that we have.
[00:34:48] Speaker A: All. All non magical item or magical items will survive water damage. Non magical. You leave on the ship. But that's the same thing. The last time you guys went into the water, that's what you did. You just unloaded your non magical stuff, took your magical stuff that would survive.
[00:35:02] Speaker C: Yeah, like, I'm not gonna carry my.
[00:35:04] Speaker A: Bag unless you specifically say, and now at the bottom of the ocean, I get out my notebook. I'm gonna assume you left your water damageable stuff on the ship because your characters are smart and not dumb.
Amen.
[00:35:19] Speaker E: I.
What about like spell components? Do we just have to leave them on the ship now?
[00:35:26] Speaker A: Well, what. What spell component? You. You have a. You're a casting. Like, you have your focus cat.
[00:35:32] Speaker E: I know, but I like, I have diamond dust for greater restoration. And like oils.
[00:35:37] Speaker A: Diamond dust will survive water. Yeah, diamond survives stone and fire.
[00:35:43] Speaker E: I know, but how do I keep it from spreading out and disappearing?
[00:35:47] Speaker A: Real. It's in a pouch where it originally is. And if you use it for the spell and take it out, it'll be utilized. I'm. I have never and will never make you get into those obnoxious and sucky pointless weeds.
[00:36:00] Speaker E: Okay, I trust you. We can go.
[00:36:10] Speaker A: Well said.
[00:36:11] Speaker D: Well, I don't have water breathing.
[00:36:14] Speaker E: I do.
[00:36:15] Speaker A: Obviously I do not have water breathing.
[00:36:18] Speaker E: I do.
[00:36:21] Speaker C: Sick.
[00:36:24] Speaker E: You all know the spell water breathing, right?
[00:36:27] Speaker A: You can target. I remember the used it.
[00:36:30] Speaker C: Yeah, that's true.
[00:36:31] Speaker E: I can get all of us.
[00:36:32] Speaker A: They could find some. They could go down with us.
He looks at Bill. Free and ply and pl both shake their head.
[00:36:41] Speaker E: We can bring Goober with us. He's leveled up, right? He's like level four Goober does it.
[00:36:44] Speaker C: I'm not putting Spagh in form.
[00:36:48] Speaker E: All right, boss.
Are we going right now or are we needing to wait?
[00:36:53] Speaker A: Are we just playing?
[00:36:54] Speaker D: Let me. Can I. Can I.
Greta's gonna like. As this is going on, she's gonna pass divination again and she's gonna ask this time. I think she's. She like everyone is like chatting on the ship and she's just gonna like, be fiddle. She's just gonna like fiddle with a little flower as she's casting. And she's gonna like, like, just pull the petals off and like kind of fold them and like squish them in her hands. Like she's just playing with them.
And she's going to.
How close are we to no.
[00:37:52] Speaker A: Critters? You need the. The petals and mutter the green magic and mist flows softly.
[00:37:57] Speaker D: She's gonna ask how close are we to being above the drowned keep?
[00:38:02] Speaker A: Ooh.
[00:38:03] Speaker D: She doesn't need to know how far she's.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: As pieces of the petals fall and arrange on the deck, you realize that they arrange into tiny little groups concisely with the drifting of the wind.
And there are four little lumps of the flower petals and they all kind of weirdly line up. And you want you intuit them to say that you have about four hours in your current heading or so until you are above the general region of where you need to be and in the line they are. You realize that you have the. You have the correct current heading.
[00:38:42] Speaker D: Okay. Okay.
So we have about.
[00:38:47] Speaker A: So I. I also my incredibly high perception character status relate so start to notice that in a very clear sky, some dark clouds are beginning to build on the horizon just a little bit right in a really tight grouping, swirling a Little bit.
[00:39:03] Speaker C: I cast druidcraft and ask about the weather.
For the next 24 hours.
[00:39:11] Speaker A: The orb blinks in a pattern that you just innately understand that the skies are clear and sunny. No storm is predicted. As you watch a storm building on the horizon in front of you six and it's not. It's not all across the sky the way storms build. It's in this one central like kind of swirling shape.
[00:39:31] Speaker C: Yeah, guys, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that it's right under that storm.
[00:39:38] Speaker A: Micah, I thought you had frozen but you were just being so still. And now I know what it feels like.
[00:39:46] Speaker D: Good.
[00:39:47] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:39:47] Speaker B: I sex you out with that one.
[00:39:50] Speaker A: That was really good.
Yeah.
[00:39:53] Speaker F: No, I think I should probably stop the ship.
[00:39:55] Speaker A: Right?
[00:39:55] Speaker F: Turn the head.
[00:39:56] Speaker C: Definitely.
And once we dropped that ship and.
[00:40:02] Speaker A: Then he crosses his arms and goes ship. What?
[00:40:05] Speaker C: And once we get off, once we.
Whether we're swimming or flying or whatever towards that.
I think it. I think it would be best for yalls safety for you to.
[00:40:18] Speaker F: No, I should probably sail away.
[00:40:20] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
[00:40:21] Speaker F: Yeah. The other direction.
[00:40:23] Speaker A: That looks bad.
[00:40:23] Speaker F: And I was there for all the conversations you guys had in the last week and a half or so and I remember you talking about how she's.
[00:40:29] Speaker A: All magical and she pulls shifts down.
[00:40:30] Speaker F: I want our ship to stay up.
[00:40:32] Speaker C: Yeah, definitely.
[00:40:33] Speaker F: So yeah, that's your weekend smart buy.
[00:40:37] Speaker A: Okay, well, I'm going to start turning the.
[00:40:38] Speaker F: The hay off.
[00:40:39] Speaker C: Sounds good. Okay.
[00:40:40] Speaker A: Rotating it. The ship starts turning away from the heading you guys are headed in.
[00:40:43] Speaker C: How far away is like that storm area?
[00:40:51] Speaker A: I mean you've got. You've got quite a distance. You can see on the open flat ocean, but a long ways.
[00:40:58] Speaker C: Like it's a long way away from us.
[00:41:01] Speaker A: Yes. But building and growing, standing outward.
[00:41:04] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: Quickly.
[00:41:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:41:06] Speaker A: I mean had you been sailing another two or three hours away?
[00:41:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:41:11] Speaker A: Now our bed is remarkably slow.
[00:41:13] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:41:13] Speaker A: Plenty of other things could outpace it.
[00:41:15] Speaker C: But guys, maybe we should.
[00:41:18] Speaker A: The group needs to figure out how to get over there and then what to do when they get there. That's the. That's the steps the party has.
They've floated ideas but nobody's chosen anything. We also haven't gotten under the water yet and that's where the session is.
[00:41:31] Speaker C: Well, guys, okay, one of two things. We can either fly over there. One of us can polymorph and fly over there or we can turn into maybe some kind of sea creature that could swim us over there. Or we could do water breathing now and swim over there. But that I feel like would take longer.
[00:41:50] Speaker A: It occurs to you that it might take literal weeks to swim.
[00:41:54] Speaker C: Okay, then never mind.
[00:41:57] Speaker B: Which how long would we have as an animal?
[00:42:04] Speaker D: We could be a fast animal if.
[00:42:06] Speaker E: We, if it takes weeks for someone to swim there. I, I, we still got to go on the boat a ways, right? Like that's what I'm hearing. If it's weeks away.
[00:42:15] Speaker C: No, it's two to three hours on.
[00:42:17] Speaker A: The no, birds fly and people swim at greatly different speeds.
[00:42:21] Speaker C: So I think we could, I think we could fly over there and then, and then drop down into the water.
[00:42:27] Speaker A: And also I might have been hyperbolic with weeds.
[00:42:30] Speaker C: Okay, thank you.
So maybe we should. Yeah. So you want to.
[00:42:37] Speaker A: Do you all remember that Boss's dragon wild shape was sufficient to carry all but like one or two of you?
[00:42:46] Speaker C: You down to do that Boss Aussie.
[00:42:48] Speaker A: Boy r hated that.
[00:42:56] Speaker C: Okay, how is he gonna do. You need to like jump and turn into the like is that gonna hurt the ship just, you know, jumping.
[00:43:04] Speaker E: I hope not.
[00:43:07] Speaker C: Never mind.
[00:43:09] Speaker E: Steps into the water.
[00:43:11] Speaker C: Cool.
[00:43:12] Speaker A: Okay. Get off the ship. Okay, well here's the cool thing. He turns into bronze dragon wyrmling. And that is an aquatic dragon. So what does it look like? They are semi aquatic dragons. That's, that's part of the one legged dragon of action.
Semi aquatic egg laying dragon of action. They do lay eggs.
[00:43:33] Speaker D: That's sick.
[00:43:35] Speaker A: Buzz as the big Mike sneeze the Perry the Platypus theme song over you. What does it look like if you step off the boat and turn into an actual dragon?
[00:43:43] Speaker E: I like fall off the edge and peop. And like the splash sounds much bigger than.
[00:43:49] Speaker A: Oh that's I love it. So Boz just like falls like Bill Frame Paul's like. And then.
And flying up out of the water is this like 15, 20 foot long bronze dragon wormling that just this track on the boat tilts very slightly.
[00:44:11] Speaker B: Should be.
[00:44:12] Speaker E: I'm going to fly over and open up my mouth and drop some water on his head.
[00:44:17] Speaker B: Why would you do that to me?
[00:44:18] Speaker A: Craig, where you're standing, water just pours onto him. Craig, you're soaking wet.
[00:44:27] Speaker B: This is so stupid.
[00:44:28] Speaker C: I pressed the digitate. Craig, you're going to.
[00:44:33] Speaker B: This is so gross. I hope you, I hope you choke a little bit on water.
[00:44:40] Speaker A: And he goes all right.
[00:44:43] Speaker C: Yeah. I climb on too.
[00:44:45] Speaker E: I look at Tello and I go.
[00:44:51] Speaker A: Turns around and goes okay, that was scary. Don't do that.
[00:44:58] Speaker C: What is Wait, what is the crew.
[00:45:02] Speaker A: Oh my God.
[00:45:03] Speaker C: What's their face doing with Boss turning.
[00:45:07] Speaker A: Into a dragon Everyone is very amazed and impressed. Also, this entire session is underwater and hasn't half started yet.
[00:45:15] Speaker C: I'm sorry.
[00:45:16] Speaker A: And a number of our players are so sleepy they're dying now. So you guys should go now.
[00:45:23] Speaker B: Let's go.
[00:45:24] Speaker A: Let's go.
[00:45:25] Speaker B: Don't worry.
[00:45:26] Speaker A: Excellent. Everybody climbs onto dragon balls. Now, you guys understand from the weight limit, either boss is gonna have to fly at half speed because the Bronze Dragon wyrmling is big, but not that word big. You guys are gonna have to fly at half speed or turn one other person into something else. Does somebody else get polymorphed? Probably the heaviest person.
[00:45:49] Speaker E: That's Craig. Did someone polymorph Craig into a big bird?
[00:45:52] Speaker A: I would do Craig polymorphs into a big bird. You want to mark off that spell slot, Jackie? Dope.
[00:45:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:45:58] Speaker A: Also, Greta, did you mark off your resources and spell slot for your second divination? Dope? Craig, you are turned into a really big bird. Maybe that albatross you guys saw forever ago. And you guys fly toward the storm.
What?
Okay, the party moves in the direction of the storm rather than away from it. And the storm is strange. You guys can put together easily enough from what you know that this is. I mean, this is clearly not natural. You can understand its ominous portent. There's no confusion about that. But it is worth noting how compressed it is. It's not like it's over a thousand foot area. It spans miles. But storms often span much further. You can see some. You can see plenty of storms from space, you know, orbiting Earth. Earth. But this, this is just compressed over like a mile or two. And it's thickly swirling. And as you guys are flying and flying maybe 10 or 20 minutes in, still a good distance away from the storm, the winds are already picking up. And you can hear a popping and cracking from the storm. The other thing worth noting is you all are experienced sailors at this point, especially those of you who've been training in navigation. You've seen storms form on the horizon. This storm was not there an hour or two ago. It has very quickly sprung up. So you can very you. You all are sure this has to do with Saguin? And it's worth noting that she must be aware you're here. She must be aware there is a ship traveling toward her.
As the party flies toward their point, I have a question. Yes.
[00:47:58] Speaker E: Did I see her in my vision?
[00:48:03] Speaker A: No, no. You saw the chamber. You saw some movement, but nothing more.
As the party heads in the direction of whatever this drop point is, you're kind of just moving toward the center of the storm. But, Ro, could you give me another navigation check? Yes. I can try and guide the party in the right direction because the center of a storm sounds like it'd be easy to find, but the closer you.
[00:48:23] Speaker C: Get, the more that's gonna be survival, right?
[00:48:27] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:48:31] Speaker C: 20 toe, bro.
[00:48:38] Speaker A: You very confidently guide everyone forward, forward with your innate sense of direction, orienting yourself toward Agba in the world, maintaining the heading. You guide the party in that space also. Landon, I don't mean this sarcastically at all. Are you okay? I don't want to push the session on you if you're real sleepy. Okay. Okay. I want to respect that because I was a full lion roar yawn. So I want to respect what you need, people over dnd.
So the party flies forward toward the center of the storm, and the wind just picks up more and more.
Craig, you flying as the bird. You have to start kind of flying between Boz's wings and in the backdraft underneath him because the wind is getting to be too much as the much larger, heavier creatures.
And at some point, as you all are moving toward the center of the storm, Craig, you find that you can no longer fly. It's too much.
You maintain your shape, but the wind is too much. So you wind up having to kind of like fly up to someone. One of the party members has to kind of like hold you there with them because only boss's body, only dragon boss is heavy and strong enough in wings to maintain wind also. Finally, you all are blanketed by rain. Not the pleasant kind. Stinging, cold, harsh rain. And everything gets quite dark. All around the edges of the storm is bright day, so you can still see vaguely in here, but it's unpleasant and rough. It's a strange experience. And every once in a while, there is though you see no bolts immediately next to you.
Ro, you feel 45, 50 minutes in.
You feel that. That innate sense you have in you that your drop point is near.
[00:50:33] Speaker C: Okay, well, I feel because of the noise, I'm just gonna like, like, try to get everybody's communicating dragon attention, like, by grabbing them or whatever.
[00:50:48] Speaker A: You slap him as hard as you can on the side, and even through his dragon hide, he heals. He feels it understands what you're communicating.
[00:50:57] Speaker C: To go down. Yeah.
[00:50:59] Speaker A: Okay, Boz, I assume you angle your wings down and descend.
[00:51:03] Speaker E: Yes, I do.
[00:51:05] Speaker A: As you dive toward the water, nearing it, the waves are kind of like churning and crashing, rolling into each other. It occurs to you all that landing in such a way to get all the spells off you need is going to be a task. You may need to either come up with some sort of a thing to land on in this madness because the ocean is roiling and churning beneath you in a storm, or you're going to need to do the spell casting you need to do in Fall Boy.
Oh, and Boz, did you cast water breathing before turning into a dragon, or have you yet to cast it?
[00:51:39] Speaker E: I cast it when we left the boat.
[00:51:41] Speaker C: Oh, you did?
[00:51:42] Speaker A: Everyone has water. Trying to say Your duration is 8 hours or 24.
[00:51:47] Speaker D: It's 24.
[00:51:49] Speaker A: 24.
So everybody has water breathing on them. You all are aware that you're over your drop point?
Okay, let's see.
[00:51:58] Speaker E: I start. I. I. You hear a voice from the dragon in draconic. Say, does anybody speak Draconic?
[00:52:05] Speaker D: I think I do.
No, I don't.
[00:52:10] Speaker A: And everyone stares at you, confused.
All right, all right, Boz, this is. I don't want to give you too much power, but dragons can speak languages, and you in your dragon form have the intelligence of a person. You could continue to speak comma, one, just with a jerk on my voice.
[00:52:32] Speaker E: All right, I speak common then.
[00:52:35] Speaker A: Okay, sick.
[00:52:36] Speaker E: And I say.
I say, hey, guys, are y'all ready to die down or what?
[00:52:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
I say we dive as gently as we can so we're not hitting the water fast.
[00:52:55] Speaker E: II okay. As long as. Are you. Are you good? Do you want to cast lean demon's tiny hut first or something? I don't know.
[00:53:00] Speaker C: I don't think that'll help us.
[00:53:02] Speaker A: Are you sure about that?
[00:53:04] Speaker C: Don't be sarcastic right now.
[00:53:07] Speaker E: It could really help.
[00:53:08] Speaker A: Let's go.
[00:53:09] Speaker E: And bosses, if everybody's holding on tight, goes into the water.
[00:53:17] Speaker A: Okay. Without untransforming, boss just dives into the water as a dragon. Bronze dragons can swim. And so he just.
The impact even tried to slow with the waves is hard. And as you all land, a wave roils over and just slaps you guys in the face.
You all go from a world of. Oh, bite of bread. And now I need to drink water. I'm gonna have hiccups quick. Somebody say something.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: That's actually kind of a funny thing. A bronze dragon worm ate bread.
[00:53:52] Speaker E: Amphibious.
Also, I have blind sight and dark vision, if that helps.
[00:53:59] Speaker C: Okay, that's nice.
[00:54:02] Speaker E: As a dragon, I'm definitely gonna have the hiccups now.
[00:54:06] Speaker C: Absolutely.
[00:54:06] Speaker A: You're in the door.
Whirling mass of empty ocean beneath a storm, but totally so.
[00:54:12] Speaker E: Oh, just in case I don't. I don't think I see Anything right now.
[00:54:16] Speaker A: Understood. Thank you for the heads up.
[00:54:19] Speaker C: Ah.
[00:54:20] Speaker A: You all are underwater now. Craig, you cease to be a pelican. I assume Ezra drops a spell because it'd be disadvantageous to be a pelican down here.
And the mass riding the dense creature is actually kind of helping with the descent speed. As you. As you guys. Lower. Now, where you are in the ocean, you have a sense of general navigation. But where you go from here is kind. Kind of a question. Is anyone doing it? You all have entered a quickly eliminating dark void.
What is the party doing beneath the waters of the Sapphire Desert?
[00:55:01] Speaker D: So.
Know of anything? That you're old?
[00:55:08] Speaker A: No.
[00:55:09] Speaker F: He's.
[00:55:09] Speaker E: He's somewhere around here. Right.
[00:55:12] Speaker B: The deep. Wow.
[00:55:13] Speaker E: In the water.
[00:55:17] Speaker C: What were you saying? Abby?
[00:55:21] Speaker D: Dm.
[00:55:23] Speaker A: That's me. Oh.
[00:55:25] Speaker D: I'm going to see if I can stretch this.
Okay.
What did. Would Greta know of something that any hag would have in their possession?
[00:55:53] Speaker A: What a question.
No.
Any hag within the coven crown for sure.
But saline like she's not going to have a marrow gate the way each of the covens has. She may or may not have a brewing cauldron. Especially given that she's underwater. Her? You're not very familiar. Of all the kinds of hags you spent time with, you never spent time with sea hags you know little about their way is. And given that she's not part of the coven crown, you could make some educated guesses as Abby, as Greta. But there's no given in this circumstance.
[00:56:41] Speaker D: Okay.
Okay. I'm gonna try this.
[00:56:55] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:56:55] Speaker D: Anyway, I am going. I'm gonna. Greta's gonna cast locate object on the skull of a sailor.
[00:57:09] Speaker A: He's gonna describe sick.
[00:57:12] Speaker D: Well, so the spell says describe or name an object that is familiar to you. I'm assuming the Gretchen has seen several skulls working with tags.
[00:57:22] Speaker A: So many. Yes. Maybe this in this campaign. Yeah.
[00:57:27] Speaker D: But I want. I wanted to describe specifically the skull.
Like the aged skull of a sailor. Like an old skull that belonged to a sailor.
[00:57:40] Speaker A: Okay. Dope. Greta. As you focus on that and cast your spell, a little stream of green magic goes out from you.
[00:57:48] Speaker D: Can I make this visible to everyone?
[00:57:51] Speaker A: Yes. Yes. I'm okay with that.
But. Doesn't seem to connect to a point.
It occurs to you you have not yet reached a sufficient depth to.
Now, here's the thing.
This is not a part of the spell usually. And I may not afford this accommodation again in the future. But you have used this spell before. In this circumstance. You're also a 12th level cleric. So I don't always love just changing what a spell can and can't do. I like to stick to rules as written when I can.
[00:58:26] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:58:26] Speaker A: But I also like stretching the ability, especially of low level spells with very high level casters, because it. It sort of adds context and story to.
To the sheer amount of their ability to the expertise they've grown. So you can give me spell casting, Give me a wisdom, like check an ability with your wisdom casting modifier and to try and hold the spell going because it's a concentration spell and it has a long duration. The duration is like an hour, 8 hours?
[00:59:00] Speaker D: Hours, 10 minutes.
[00:59:01] Speaker A: Okay. 10 minutes to try and hold it long enough to pick it up once you get in range of the point you're looking for.
[00:59:09] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:59:09] Speaker D: Okay. Okay, I rolled that. So I'm gonna use my inspiration.
[00:59:13] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:59:14] Speaker D: You said wisdom.
[00:59:16] Speaker A: Yes. That's your spellcasting ability.
[00:59:21] Speaker D: That is a dirty 20.
[00:59:23] Speaker C: No.
[00:59:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
Greta, you are able to.
You can feel the spell reaching. You can feel it trying to connect with the distant point you're looking for. But it's not enough to create the path of visual, illusory light you're looking for. And so as the rest of the world just sets, as all of the light bleeds out from above, you in total dark starts to swallow your group up. All of you all feel the pressure, not just of being under the ocean again and how harrowing your last venture down to these kind of depths were, but also the crushing pressure of the ocean starting to build on you, quickly reading, reaching an amount that would compress and kill creatures. Not under the effects of spells like this.
You are able to squeeze out the connection to your spell. And you feel that if you reach this depth that you need within time, your spell will likely resume.
So the group just sinks.
And you all sink.
And you sink. Boz. This is especially stressful for you as the transformed creature, because the position of your body controls the way the group slightly drifts. But it's so unclear whether or not you're going the right direction, whether or not you're going the same direction.
Gravity pulls you down, but other than the sense of what's above and what's below, as the darkness starts to swallow you, I mean, the light's slightly brighter above, but other than knowing where up and down are, everything's just so quiet and black. And you all can feel the pressure build around you, the gravity pull on you.
That sinking feeling builds and builds and builds.
Why don't you.
Why doesn't Ro. Is there a way you are trying to Navigate, Boz, to maintain the same falling direction.
[01:01:34] Speaker C: Are we still on bot? Like on Dragon Balls?
[01:01:38] Speaker A: Are you all not on, boss?
[01:01:40] Speaker C: No, I figured we were. We're holding on, right? Okay.
[01:01:43] Speaker A: It would be a terribly dangerous idea to get off of him.
[01:01:46] Speaker C: That's what I thought. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss.
[01:01:49] Speaker A: I didn't have that on my fungi. Bingo. But it can go there.
[01:01:52] Speaker D: No, I don't want to go there.
[01:01:57] Speaker C: So before I. Okay, my question is, remind me how this works. Underneath the water.
Can we. Because we have water breathing. Can we, like, speak? Can we produce.
[01:02:12] Speaker A: You can speak and you can spellcast, but you don't have to role play that if you don't want to. It's fine, but you don't need to.
[01:02:21] Speaker C: I would probably try to communicate, but for the most part, I would almost do it. Like when you're on a horse and you got reins and you're trying to.
[01:02:30] Speaker A: Like, reaching out and just grabbing the muscular base of each other or like.
[01:02:34] Speaker C: His ears or something. I don't know. Like.
[01:02:38] Speaker A: Nope, dragons don't have ears.
[01:02:39] Speaker C: Oh, that's right.
[01:02:40] Speaker A: You find. You find a spine to tilt or something.
[01:02:43] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:02:43] Speaker A: And, Boz, you can feel the heading of the spine, you know, controlling. Yeah. Following the. The gesticulations, the navigatorial gesticulations of roe. You maintain a descending course, and the group sinks and sinks until, Greta, that green line of energy just pulses out from you. And the group was falling in almost complete black until that green line of energy just flowed outward and. Ooh, it's veering pretty sharply. Right. You all need to adjust your. Your course strongly.
So, Boz, you, like, open up your wings a little bit, let it catch your direction, start drifting. It takes some work, Boz. You're having to, like, really. You're having to fly through the water, so to speak, in the direction. And in that vein, could you give me an endurance check? That's under Constitution.
Yeah.
[01:03:41] Speaker E: Using my dragon stats.
[01:03:45] Speaker C: Dragon stats.
[01:03:48] Speaker A: Dragon stats.
[01:03:49] Speaker C: Dragon stats.
[01:03:51] Speaker E: That's a 15.
[01:03:53] Speaker A: That's pretty good.
Your dragon form doesn't pick up any exhaustion, but you're feeling it. You're feeling the burn. Mr. Krabs.
Nobody here gets that.
[01:04:05] Speaker C: It took me a second. Sorry.
[01:04:08] Speaker A: You rotate and wheel in the water in the dark, and it's just dark black. You fall through unknown confusion. So the water gets denser. Everything is getting so. Everything is just completely still. Except for the very occasional.
[01:04:28] Speaker C: Do. Well, it's so dark. I was gonna say, do we see any other.
[01:04:31] Speaker A: From Boss's underwater Wing beats controlling motion. But it's just. I mean, remember, Jackie, I don't mean this sarcastically at all. Remember, 99.999% of the ocean is empty aquatic void. So little of the ocean is occupied by anything living. Almost all of it is just nothingness.
[01:04:53] Speaker D: It's crazy to think that.
[01:04:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:04:56] Speaker A: Greta, you can feel your thread getting a little brighter. Yeah.
And you get the feeling you're nearing something. Soon, your familiarity with the spell. But it's all still completely dark and black. Everything is just empty darkness. The group is not. Boss is transformed into a dragon. Nobody's using anything to create light. And I'm not saying you should. But right now, the group is in complete and total dark. You are in midnight, save for this little green thread moving in front of you.
[01:05:37] Speaker D: Micah, you are muted.
[01:05:38] Speaker A: This is the way.
[01:05:39] Speaker D: Well, I seem like I need to communicate to Boz where to go. Like, is Boss following the thread?
[01:05:45] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm following the thread.
[01:05:47] Speaker B: What would happen if.
What would happen if Iron sheathed Star Splinter. Yeah. I don't know why Divine Night was only coming to mind.
And she's Divine Smite. Yep.
[01:06:03] Speaker C: What were you saying?
[01:06:07] Speaker A: Star Splinter.
That's your sword.
[01:06:11] Speaker B: What would happen if I unsheathed? Okay. Can I do that?
[01:06:15] Speaker A: Micah, we love you so much, and you need to go to bed. You have our full permission, buddy.
[01:06:24] Speaker B: Yeah. Soon, soon, soon.
[01:06:27] Speaker A: Okay. Okay.
[01:06:29] Speaker B: She Splitter. Like, can I. Can I do that right now and see what this.
[01:06:33] Speaker A: You.
You. You. Pe. Splitter. And D. Splitter comes out of its.
And as the sword makes that muffled motion out in the water, there's just this silent.
The craziest thing is, you all can see almost the aura of light dissipating away from you, as in the complete and total black void. You're just this ball of blue light. And suddenly the world lights up around you in nothingness. You just fall in black nothing with just the pale blue light illuminating immediately around you.
Until suddenly, at the very edge of your periphery, this wooden point stabs up. Wooden point drifting in and out of the space here. As you all follow the line, it disappears again. And then another raises up it, like, stabs up through the edge of the light. And then the light bathes down it and paints the top of a broken mast and then drifts by. It's more dark.
[01:07:56] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:07:57] Speaker A: Two different, based on their position. And then as you all drift a little lower, you all start to see the front half of a shift ship. A third one turned on its side, just smelt on the edge of an Underwater cliff face on a shelf. And as you watch its broken pieces lean precariously over the edge like a great tip would send them careening down into the darkness. You all head to. You just drift by it into more black. You pass four or five more of these until dragon boz lands on a silty cliff edge.
And around you are more shipwrecks and shapes all broken and smashed. Just pieces shattered here on the stone. And it's like this terraced cliff face with like drops one from another. Why don't I show you?
[01:09:00] Speaker D: Oh no.
[01:09:06] Speaker C: What if it's really positive underwater on a cliff? We've been through this before and it was scary.
[01:09:22] Speaker D: Pretty good looking map, Zach.
[01:09:23] Speaker C: Yeah, it does look nice.
[01:09:26] Speaker A: Really fast. Okay, so this top level is where you all have landed. There's a lower shelf in front of you here. And all of this is just more dark drop. Right. There's two really large stone masses here. Also consider that there are broken shipwrecks all around. But I didn't have that kind of time.
[01:09:48] Speaker C: How dare you not draw all the broken shipwrecks, Zach? How dare you.
[01:09:53] Speaker A: Pause.
Do you remain in dragon form? Do you on wild shape or do you stay that way?
[01:10:02] Speaker E: I, I don't know, man. I, I actually where around you would.
[01:10:10] Speaker A: You have have landed anywhere in the space you particularly like? I just assigned you a location you can pick.
[01:10:22] Speaker C: You said it's a cliff.
[01:10:23] Speaker E: I'm okay with where I'm at.
[01:10:26] Speaker C: How far down are the other over here?
[01:10:29] Speaker E: That's fine with me. Yes.
[01:10:31] Speaker A: Okay. Good night, Micah.
We love you. Now I'm gonna make you this larger black piece instead of your red one.
[01:10:38] Speaker E: Is cragging your channel.
[01:10:40] Speaker C: Yeah, she just put them there.
[01:10:41] Speaker A: Mic uploaded.
[01:10:43] Speaker D: Thank you, Mike.
[01:10:47] Speaker A: Landon, I assume you have Craig Stats. Good night, Micah. We love you.
Okay, so you said you wanted to be up on this level?
Yes. Okay, so everyone dismounts from Dawes dragon balls.
[01:11:04] Speaker D: Dawes.
[01:11:06] Speaker C: Can we tell how far down that is?
[01:11:09] Speaker A: Yes, I was about to tell you. So this is a 15 foot drop.
And then each of these stones, I should have written that down.
This rising shattered stone point here looks like it's about like 15ft high at its top.
And that one looks about 10.
Do you all have swim speeds?
[01:11:33] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:11:34] Speaker D: Oh no.
[01:11:36] Speaker E: I do.
[01:11:38] Speaker A: Your swim speeds are the movement you have here underwater.
And they are the movement you have. Up and down is half of your total swim speed. Because swimming up and down is harder than swimming forward and back. So lateral movement is your swim speed. Up and down is half rounded to the nearest five.
And then this edge off here past this point is just something.
[01:12:05] Speaker C: It's just dark, dry.
Great.
[01:12:10] Speaker A: So, Greta, as you all land, your green illusory line traces to a pile of mounded silt over here where you can see some wooden debris scattered that I did not have time to draw. Like some broken barrels. And from it, you can just see silt piled up kind of around the shape of a mangled pile of bone parts near the base of the wooden debris.
[01:12:44] Speaker D: Kim, I have a question.
[01:12:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:12:48] Speaker D: About my swim speed. This says while climbing or swimming, each foot of movement costs one extra foot.
That means that it's just.
It's so. It's just. I just half it. I have a 25 walk speed, so would I round up or down? Is my only question.
[01:13:06] Speaker A: Well, your swim speed is not equal to your walk speed. If I haven't established a rule for your swim speed in this campaign, I'm.
[01:13:13] Speaker C: Gonna say use mine.
[01:13:16] Speaker D: Was that each while climbing or swimming, each foot of movement cost one extra foot.
[01:13:22] Speaker A: Exactly. So your swim speed is half as much. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:13:25] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:13:26] Speaker A: Sorry.
You round up or down? What's your. What's Your strength score?
[01:13:30] Speaker D: 25. So it'd either be 12 or 13.
[01:13:33] Speaker A: Your strength score is 25. You're as strong as a. As a storm giant.
[01:13:37] Speaker D: Right. Can I walk? The is 25. My strength is 13 plus one, baby.
[01:13:44] Speaker A: You can round down.
[01:13:47] Speaker D: That's cool.
[01:13:49] Speaker C: Cuz like my. I was gonna tell you my walking speed is 30 and I have on my sheet since like day one when Zach told us that my swim speed is 10.
[01:14:02] Speaker A: There you go. I've fixed it. 15 foot swim speed, speed.
[01:14:05] Speaker C: Wonderful.
[01:14:05] Speaker A: You can just go ahead and fix that and give yourself more.
[01:14:07] Speaker C: Take it. I will take.
[01:14:08] Speaker A: Which means yalls up and down. Just for the sake of simplicity, let's just say that like up and down is 10. For if. If you have a 15 foot, then up and down is 10.
[01:14:21] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:14:22] Speaker D: So for me it would be eight or seven.
[01:14:29] Speaker A: Well, it's measured in fives.
[01:14:32] Speaker D: So I have a 12 swim speed. So minus five distance.
[01:14:37] Speaker A: Yeah, distance is always measured in five because having a seven speed is meaningless in five.
So you have. You have a 10 swim speed and. Well, 12.5. Rounding up or down. Yeah, you have a 10 swim speed, which means you have a five up and down. So, Greta, you are at a very serious disadvantage here in the water like this.
Landon, I'm just checking. Are you still here?
[01:15:06] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm still here.
[01:15:08] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:15:08] Speaker E: I didn't realize my camera.
[01:15:10] Speaker A: Put your mic Back on. No, no, no, it's okay.
[01:15:12] Speaker E: I didn't know my camera was off. Sorry.
[01:15:15] Speaker A: That's okay. I'm not upset.
What is.
What. What is the party doing?
[01:15:24] Speaker C: Did unshape or is he still Drago?
[01:15:27] Speaker E: I'm still a dragon.
[01:15:28] Speaker A: He remained in his dragon form.
[01:15:32] Speaker C: Is there any other, like, I.
[01:15:36] Speaker A: There's debris littered all around you that I didn't draw on the map. Sorry.
[01:15:40] Speaker C: I.
I look like over the edge a little bit and try to see.
[01:15:47] Speaker A: If the edge right in front of you is like a 15 foot drop.
[01:15:50] Speaker C: Yeah. I don't try and try and swim off of it. I just look down and I'm trying to investigate for any, like, light source that's maybe like the only thing that.
[01:16:06] Speaker A: Lights everything up for you is Craig's sword. And Craig's sword has, I think, like 60ft of light. So basically what you guys are seeing is you guys are seeing like a radius like that around you. But even over this way, far over this way, it's still just d. Dark. And over this way too.
[01:16:20] Speaker C: She's got to have like.
Is how Rose talking. She's got to have like an entrance to like, her lair or something.
[01:16:30] Speaker A: It occurs to you that whatever being lives down here might be accustomed to living in darkness.
[01:16:34] Speaker D: Oh, right. Well, so I. I say in my.
I say, like, didn't boss.
Like, we know that there's a room. We know that there's a keep where she.
[01:16:50] Speaker C: Oh, true, true.
[01:16:52] Speaker D: You know, and. Yeah.
God. What was that?
[01:17:00] Speaker A: Nothing.
Oh, much better.
[01:17:08] Speaker D: So, yeah, I guess. I guess Greta starts looking for an entrance to something or any kind of.
[01:17:16] Speaker C: Should we.
[01:17:16] Speaker A: How are you doing that?
You have. You have silt and stone all around here. Silt and stone all around here. Dark drop this way.
You have to describe your actions or I can't tell you what.
[01:17:30] Speaker D: No, I'm worried. I'm thinking.
[01:17:32] Speaker A: Okay, okay.
[01:17:37] Speaker D: He's gonna start swimming towards.
Actually, she's gonna stay with the group and she's gonna say, I think that we as a group should swim towards one of those rock formations and look for an entrance.
[01:17:53] Speaker C: Yeah, I think we need to get down there.
[01:17:55] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:17:57] Speaker E: I swim.
[01:18:00] Speaker A: Lethargic movements waiting for each of your slowest members.
[01:18:05] Speaker E: They hang on to me.
[01:18:07] Speaker C: Yeah. Can we just hang on and hems zip us down. Yeah.
[01:18:10] Speaker A: Okay. You know what? That's a really good point. I like that. B. Being dragged down from the weight of everyone you're carrying. You.
You guys arrive at one of these large rock points. Now you guys have like, a slightly larger radius of light that you can see.
And the really crazy thing is you can only see to either edge of this because that's where the light shines. Everything further behind is just dark. Now, as Craig's sword only goes so far, and in this darkness, you guys just see a stone face in front of you. Greta, if you're searching on the stone face for some sort of a clue, could you give me an investigation check? As you all walk through the silt you're kicking up on the stone face, everything's just.
[01:18:50] Speaker C: Can I assist?
[01:18:52] Speaker A: Down. Yes, you can. And also push splinters of wood away from your feet. And you do kick up like just, just a little like, like a long white bone gets lifted up from the sil down below it. Again, everything here is very picked clean. Detritivores have clearly been over everything.
What you got, Greta?
[01:19:14] Speaker D: 24.
[01:19:15] Speaker A: Okay, well, two things are gonna happen. One, with a 24, you do not find anything on this stone face that looks like any sort of an entrance or home or anything.
But Greta, what's your investigation modifier?
[01:19:36] Speaker D: 6.
[01:19:37] Speaker A: Okay, as we've talked about with your.
What was the thing I said your observant feat gave you?
[01:19:44] Speaker C: Passive investigation.
[01:19:46] Speaker A: Yeah, about your passive investigation, is there any specific.
[01:19:48] Speaker D: Yeah, my passive investigation is 21.
[01:19:53] Speaker A: With a 21 you find. So with it. With a. With a 24, nothing on the stone face in front of you. But with a 21, you look back and notice that this direction where there are these extra lines at the edge of this wall. On the map, the stone face comes to a very, very narrow space slit that starts to turn into like a, like a path into the Stoneway. But I mean it narrows down to like a foot across, maybe a foot and a half. It's. It's like this wide.
So like if you turn sideways, you could like quarter movement. Scooch. Well, like a, like a foot at a time.
[01:20:31] Speaker C: Do you mean like not stone is right here.
I know, but like not up where we were, but like the wall of the 15 foot wall?
[01:20:42] Speaker A: Yes, exactly. If you look back the 15 foot wall and it just starts to. And so you notice that there could be a pathway in from there. It's at that same time that both your and Rose passive perceptions are high enough to watch something above you going kind of like this way. Just. Just dart by in the darkness.
[01:21:09] Speaker C: How big can we tell?
[01:21:14] Speaker A: Just a large shadow kind of darts by. Landon, quick check in if you do need to go to bed. Do we need to.
Does that. Do we need to stop the session?
[01:21:28] Speaker E: I'm. If y'all. Want to keep going, that's fine. Someone just have to play boss. I can send over his and Craig.
[01:21:34] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I don't know about.
[01:21:37] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:21:40] Speaker A: I mean I am very comfortable running seven things at once, but I also don't know how much everyone's wanting the DM to play versus the DM versus the dm.
I, I not opposed to stopping the session early.
This would be a much shorter episode and we do have time remaining. But I also want to respect where everyone's at physically and if we're just too exhausted to have the sufficient party members, we can stop the session.
[01:22:12] Speaker D: I don't know how I feel about running.
[01:22:17] Speaker A: I will gladly pick up a PC if it's necessary. If, if let me put it this way. If Abby, if you and Jackie are like, no, no, let's keep playing. We really want to keep playing. One of you can pick up Craig, I'll pick up Boz, and we can move from there. To be honest, we do that with the other campaign all the time. But if you guys are like, no, no, like that's, that's too many people with extra things that doesn't feel like the thing we come here for. We can stop the session early. I'll work with both options.
[01:22:44] Speaker C: As worried about playing the other people, I just know if we're about to like run combat on Hag, I feel like it would be good to have.
[01:22:55] Speaker A: Your probably did not plan the boss fight for a session starting this late outside of the cave at the edge of a cliff where two players were already missing.
He would probably plan a combat like that to start in the first half knowing that he usually doesn't have all of his players to the end of the the second episode. But that's a very reasonable concern. Now if we need to stop early, we still can. But no, this is not the boss fight.
[01:23:19] Speaker C: Okay then I, it, I, I don't either way, it's. I'm.
I am.
[01:23:27] Speaker A: Okay, you have, do you have a voter opinion?
If you are saying you need to go to bed, you can go now and we'll make the choice and you are free to. To get some rest. Thank you so much for playing and we enjoy you.
[01:23:39] Speaker E: No worries. I'm just trying to get the file saved for you guys.
[01:23:42] Speaker A: Thank you. I appreciate that.
Abby, do you have any strong opinion?
[01:23:47] Speaker D: I don't know if I now the.
[01:23:48] Speaker A: Tense music sounds like it's about our decision instead of the scenario.
[01:23:54] Speaker D: I don't know. I don't know if I think my vote would be.
[01:24:00] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:24:01] Speaker D: Just Because I know. I know it's a shorter episode. Episode. But to not have two people for like a 10th episode is.
I don't know. That's how I feel.
[01:24:15] Speaker A: I don't think we should play unless everyone thinks we should play.
[01:24:18] Speaker D: So if you don't, I honestly think.
[01:24:20] Speaker A: That can be that.
[01:24:20] Speaker C: Yeah. By you saying that I'm not like, wow, I can't believe you, Abby. Like, I'm not. I don't.
[01:24:25] Speaker A: We're gonna get off and then we're gonna talk about how you should have been taller.
[01:24:28] Speaker C: I know.
[01:24:29] Speaker D: I really should have been tall.
[01:24:31] Speaker C: Should have had a higher swim speed.
[01:24:35] Speaker A: That's real.
[01:24:37] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm sorry, guys. I don't know. I just.
[01:24:39] Speaker A: That's okay.
[01:24:40] Speaker C: You don't have to be sorry.
[01:24:42] Speaker A: Okay, well, then with the party here in the darkness, we will call the session at that and we'll call that the end of episode 137.
I need to get you guys on a cocaine habit or something, but we'll.
Something to wake my party up. I don't know.
But no problem. We'll pick up next time with that.
[01:25:12] Speaker C: It was a sinking feeling. We didn't think.
[01:25:18] Speaker A: Okay, well, I will make some keynotes for myself next time. I mean, I have everything set up, so we can just pick up next time.
[01:25:25] Speaker B: I know.
[01:25:25] Speaker D: We'll be good to go.
[01:25:27] Speaker A: Mm.
Okay. Dope. Well, then in that case. Well, okay. This is interesting, huh? I had planned this. I planned the part where you're actually in the dungeon as a two parter. But if this is the first party, this means this turns into a three parter, so that's really interesting.
Anywho, listen, life is an incredible adventure. You are an important part of it. Oh, players, we haven't technically engaged with anything yet, so you guys gain 0.02 levels.
Sorry.
[01:25:57] Speaker C: So we are at 89. 12.89.
[01:26:03] Speaker A: You are so excruciatingly close to level 13.
[01:26:06] Speaker C: I know.
[01:26:09] Speaker A: Okay, excellent. Well, life is an incredible adventure. We will pick back up from this tense scene next time and figure out what happened.
[01:26:15] Speaker B: Are an important part of it.
[01:26:18] Speaker A: Yes, life is an incredible adventure. You're an important part of it. Thank you, Abby. I literally forgot to say the second part.
Thank you, listeners.
