[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hello, and welcome back to our DND podcast. Today, we are going to be fighting some fish guys. Thank you for joining us in this adventure. We are so happy to have you. And this is. This is Micah. [00:00:16] Speaker B: And that accent transformed halfway through. You say it. What? And then I stopped, and we're going to be fighting some fish guys. And. [00:00:25] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know what that was, but it was and it is. And I'm excited to make this to come. No, see, I stopped there because that would be classic. I knew the boundary there. There will be no letter to question because we are going to be kicking some good butt and get right into it. Just jump right in. [00:00:56] Speaker B: Right before we hop in. The one thing I'll say is that Hoffa got this pregnancy tea, but didn't like it at all. It made her feel sick. And so I was like, well, no, I'm not going to waste tea. So I started drinking it, and it's really good. So right now, as we have Mortal Kombat, I'm drinking pregnancy tea. [00:01:13] Speaker A: Zach, it's going to get you pregnant. [00:01:18] Speaker B: That's what that means. [00:01:20] Speaker C: Are we recording? [00:01:22] Speaker B: Yes, we are recording. [00:01:25] Speaker C: Abby had a phone call she had to take, so she was. [00:01:28] Speaker B: That's okay. That's okay. All right. Okay, let me. I'm gonna adjust Micah's volume slightly for myself and then get into it. All right. No, no, I had you. You were quiet for some reason. All right, so, listener. Yeah, we're back with the Accidental Adventures, and we're. There's really not a whole lot of intro. We're just going to. That's crazy Abby. We're just gonna get straight into combat and use that to console Abby with her work. Instability Circumstance. That'll make you feel better. So, note taking, nerds. This is episode 168 of the Accidental Adventures. Unceasing Massacre. [00:02:12] Speaker C: No. [00:02:15] Speaker D: Cue the heavy metal music, guys. [00:02:17] Speaker B: Really positive vibes. [00:02:18] Speaker C: Really up Note Unceasing Massacre. [00:02:24] Speaker E: These vibes are unceasing. [00:02:27] Speaker B: Okay. All right. [00:02:30] Speaker C: I was just thinking about Courageous Gore. [00:02:33] Speaker B: And then I laughed. Oh, my goodness. But all right, so. Holy crap. I guess we're just gonna get back into it as a quick. Oh, it's. It's a level 14 and level 7. [00:02:51] Speaker A: We. [00:02:54] Speaker B: It is a level 14 and level 17 adventure. Because while Wrong Grim was away back with his own campaign, he leveled up. So we're literally. [00:03:02] Speaker D: We cliffhanger. [00:03:03] Speaker B: We cliff hung. And then we're coming back in with Wrong Grim suddenly a level higher, which is pretty. That's funny. It's 3488 PB. It's CB call. The 16th. [00:03:12] Speaker D: What? [00:03:13] Speaker C: I heard it has the 10th. [00:03:16] Speaker B: No, no, we've moved forward in time. I know that it's the 16th. [00:03:21] Speaker C: It was the 9th. Then we slept and it was the 10th. [00:03:26] Speaker B: No, I can't be wrong again. [00:03:27] Speaker C: I'm so sorry. [00:03:28] Speaker B: 16Th. [00:03:30] Speaker C: I just don't know where the six days came from. But that's fine. I have. [00:03:35] Speaker B: I think that was part of Yalls time resting. [00:03:38] Speaker D: Like, didn't we walk for a week? [00:03:41] Speaker B: No, but you walked for like a day. [00:03:44] Speaker D: I was trying to help you. [00:03:46] Speaker B: But when you left it was already in the teens. It was like three days when. [00:03:51] Speaker C: When we left the 10th. [00:03:53] Speaker B: God, Jackie's freaking right. I went back and checked the 10th. I should know better. The keen mind striketh again. Okay, there was your meandering intro listener. So anyway, it's 3488pb cbcall the 10th. It matters. Thank you, Jackie. And as a quick recap, the fun guys are. Well, I guess I'll go ahead and get the music going. As a quick recap, the fun guys are. Yeah. Also remember, whenever I put on the music, you can adjust it in your left hand side. [00:04:30] Speaker E: Which helps. [00:04:32] Speaker B: Yeah, it does. It does. Especially because the songs are often different volumes. But as a reminder, the Fungi's have traveled to the land of Zor Grum, the land of death. And there they are headed on their venture toward the shadow of the mountain, where they intend to meet up with Alandra and their allies before launching an assault on Blackfang against the Lich Queen. And in the course of their path, they were ambushed by Kuo Toa elite Kuo Toa forces, terribly unexpectedly, who seem to still be in desperate pursuit of Craig and his orb. Getting more and more and more desperate as the hour is growing grimmer and grimmer. And in the course of combating these Kuo Toa, it appears that there was just an army of scattered pieces of undeath under the soil of the landscape. And the conflict gathered its attention. And so the Fungi are now embroiled. The Fungi's in Vangrim, who has joined them in their elite missions lent by the warriors of the well. They are embroiled in a conflict with these elite Kuo Toan forces. They have slaughtered one of their high priests. But all other forces remain alive if many are close to the grave. And many unsettling things have been happening. Some of the Ku to warriors are crustacean like and fervent and powerful. One has died to the unceasing massacre of this ilk. But others that are covered in powerful symbology as they've been nearing the grave, have been arcing with horrible power, which is kind of concerning, and they seem excited to die. We're not exactly sure the purpose of this yet. And in the middle of all of this, a gargantuan pile of screaming, cracking bones has risen up. And while Craig has dealt a truly phenomenal blow of power, the divine magic's inside of him, striking deep into the heart of this creature. It seems otherwise unperturbed and is marching on to kill all in its path. And so with that, we're just going to get right back into it. And we would start with Jackie's turn. [00:06:35] Speaker C: Oh no, you left yourself a note. I listened to the episode. [00:06:42] Speaker B: Expect that combat is going to start with a legendary action, because technically an elitiative. We just finished the carcinized turn. So as the fungi are there deep in the trenches of this cragulous, violent, sharp canyon of obsidian fractured landscape with trickles of lava pool moving around the area, pinned in between one and another with also ro turned into a giant T Rex roaring in the middle of the pile, this massive screaming pile of bones. And again, the senescent atrocity you fought was like this horrible reconstructed statue from the skeletal corpses of others. But this is just this writhing mass. There's no clear shape or form. And from where it is, it is going to spend two, two legendary actions. And the red energy pulsing around it sort of falls inside of it for a second and the whole pile grows still for a moment. And for an instant in this raging combat with a roaring T Rex and all these warriors, everything kind of stops and grit up on her broom and rocks. All the Kuo Toa turn to look at the massive pile of bones that just stopped moving. And then in one moment it just pulses one single time and there's this massive, just this wall of blackish greenish energy that sort of spans outward in a bubble and disappears as a wave of noxious necromantic energy peels away from the un unceasing massacre, forcing all creatures within 60ft to make a con saving throw. And that is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 4. Absolutely everyone, absolutely everyone needs to give me a constitution. Saving throw. Holy cow. [00:08:38] Speaker D: Is this just for a quick question, is this against poison or. [00:08:41] Speaker B: No, it is not against poison, but that is important for you, Daniel. I, I understand the the purpose of that question, but it is not against poison. That is against a foul necromantic energy also. Thank you guys. For keeping track of the initiative. That's super appreciated. The acolytes fail the Carsonized fail, y'. All. My first two rolls of this session were a two and a three. [00:09:07] Speaker E: This is constitution. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Yes. [00:09:11] Speaker E: I got a. [00:09:14] Speaker A: 13. [00:09:14] Speaker E: Oh, and I rolled. [00:09:15] Speaker B: Okay. [00:09:16] Speaker E: Silly, silly, silly. [00:09:18] Speaker B: It's okay. A lot's coming at you. Okay, that's interesting. [00:09:25] Speaker C: I rolled a nat 20, and that means that rorex got a 30. [00:09:33] Speaker D: Oh, nice. [00:09:37] Speaker B: That's going on the average. That's sick. [00:09:39] Speaker C: That's a good way to start. Start the session. [00:09:41] Speaker B: That's a good one. [00:09:43] Speaker D: I'm gonna use my per diem. This. [00:09:46] Speaker B: Oh, yes. Everyone has per diem. By the way, they were all here on time. What were you saying, Grabby? [00:09:51] Speaker E: I got a nine. Greta got a 13. [00:09:54] Speaker B: Okay. Wrong. What'd you get? [00:09:55] Speaker D: I got a dirty 20. Good. [00:09:58] Speaker B: That was a good time to use that. What did Boz and Craig get? [00:10:05] Speaker A: I got a 17. [00:10:08] Speaker B: Okay. Boz. [00:10:14] Speaker C: I'm so sorry. [00:10:15] Speaker B: Oh, also listener. Yes. Landon had an emergency outside of session and could not play. So Jackie is gonna be running. New character. Who dis. It's all fair. The Kuo Toa high priest saves, as does the exalted. [00:10:34] Speaker C: That is a 14 for Boz. [00:10:37] Speaker B: 14. And with that, as the sickening energy, the wave of necrosis passes, or. Excuse me, no, that is miasmatic plague. As the miasmatic plague passes over you all and you all inhale it, and you feel your lungs shudder, and all of you spit out a couple hard breaths. Otherwise, it's a couple hard coughs and a horrible shudder. And you have all are fine except for Boz, Greta, and Tello. These three spit up a little bit of blood out of their mouth that trickles down their chin. And Boz, Craig, and Tello all have a point of exhaustion. [00:11:11] Speaker E: Oh, man. [00:11:12] Speaker A: You said Craig has a point of exhaustion. [00:11:15] Speaker B: Yes. No, no, no. Not Craig. Not Craig. Boz, Greta and Tello. Boz, Greta and Tello. Craig. Saved by one. [00:11:21] Speaker D: What did Craig roll? 17. Good to know. Good to know. [00:11:28] Speaker B: Good to know. Okay, so now, Ro, it is finally your turn. [00:11:38] Speaker C: Yay. [00:11:42] Speaker B: Go ahead and kick us off, dude. [00:11:44] Speaker C: Yeah. So Rocks is going to do do some attack here. And is going to one attack with her bite and one with her tail. [00:12:07] Speaker A: Excellent. [00:12:08] Speaker B: Now, I know you're engrossed in this. In this purpose and activity. Jackie, just as a heads up, um, it's robot pro wrecks, Then it's some of the Kuo Toa, and then it's boss. [00:12:18] Speaker C: Oh, okay. [00:12:18] Speaker B: And wrong will be on deck after that. So please continue with what you're saying. [00:12:22] Speaker C: So I can't. I can see the map, but I don't know who that is in front of me. [00:12:28] Speaker B: No, no, I got you. I got you. Okay, so right here also look, I'm not looking for compliments, but now that you guys can see the map clearly. It's sick, right? Yeah, it's really awesome. I was really frustrated last time when. [00:12:41] Speaker C: He was container at the back left there. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Okay, so right here, this is one of those Kuo Toa crab dudes who are like very resilient and maddened and wild. This is one of the heavily dressed warriors who has one of those massive teeth that's on fire as a blade. This is another one of those. This is Vrongrim here raging in front of you. Oh my goodness, I forgot to put Tello on the map. [00:13:09] Speaker C: I was gonna say who's behind me? Is that Boz behind me? [00:13:12] Speaker B: Yes, that is Boz behind you. Tello is right underneath your legs. You can't see him from your angle, but no, he's underneath your legs and I can see him. Which honestly really sells the whole hidden thing. [00:13:22] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:13:23] Speaker B: Greta's up here on the broom, 10ft up with another one of those heavily marked warriors down here. Boz is directly underneath your tail with one of those warriors. One of the tribally marked warriors with the blade on fire in front of him. And then another one of the crustacean fellows to his left. Then we have Craig right here, very much in the thick of it all along with another one of these crab like warriors where another one died here. We also have one of those heavily adorned priests is over here. And that super bejeweled individual who seems to have a different power set is over here. The exalted who brought the firestorm down on you. That one's okay. [00:14:07] Speaker C: So if I'm fighting, I think is it. I can't really go over on Renram, can I? [00:14:15] Speaker B: What's your. What's your reach? [00:14:16] Speaker C: It doesn't. Okay, buy it. [00:14:18] Speaker B: It'll tell you. It'll tell you the distance on the attack. [00:14:21] Speaker C: Melee weapon attack. [00:14:23] Speaker B: Then it'll give you your hit. [00:14:25] Speaker C: Oh, ten. Ten feet. I'm so sorry. [00:14:27] Speaker B: No, no, it's okay. You are five. Ten from that dude. And Jekyll, you're a. You're a 24 foot tall T. Rex. You can very much go over wrong. Nothing is out of your range. [00:14:38] Speaker C: Nothing can stop me. Okay, so I'm all the way up. Yeah, I'm gonna bite him. And I'm Going to hit the one. Okay. The one. Let's see. Okay. Tail is plus 10ft as well. So the one with the orange. [00:15:05] Speaker B: Okay. The crab, like, dude. [00:15:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I'm gonna get him. So him tail and the one in front of bite. Excuse me. [00:15:13] Speaker B: Sorry. Okay, excellent. Go ahead and roll the hit for me on the guy in front of wrong. Also, as Jackie's rolling to set the scene, this wave of necrosis has gone back right after it has. Rorex has, like, roared this deafening roar and then takes one big. [00:15:33] Speaker D: Step, and. [00:15:34] Speaker B: Telo has to do this, like, little barrel roll in between the legs, which is the coolest moment. And as she reaches down, she. And goes to bite down at the Kuo Toa warrior in front of her who's harrying wrong them on the other side from the other. [00:15:47] Speaker C: So that's a 22 to hit for the bite. [00:15:49] Speaker B: That will hit. That will hit. [00:15:52] Speaker C: And so they're gonna take 4D12 plus 8. [00:15:57] Speaker D: Okay. [00:15:57] Speaker C: Which is just crazy. [00:16:00] Speaker B: That's 4D12 plus 8 from an attack. [00:16:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:16:05] Speaker B: That's a lot. [00:16:07] Speaker C: So that is gonna be. Oh, okay. That is gonna be. 36 points of piercing damage. [00:16:30] Speaker B: How do you want to do this? [00:16:36] Speaker C: Rorex, she just. I think she's just gonna go. When she bites him, she's just gonna bite his head off and spit it out to the side. And that's what kills him. [00:16:51] Speaker B: As the massive T. Rex jaws. Go ahead and. And actually, could you go ahead and roll to hit on the crab dude and give me that? Yeah, as well, but I have to take savior for something else second. So go ahead and roll that for me, and then I'll do some. [00:17:04] Speaker C: The tail. That is going to be a 26 to hit. [00:17:10] Speaker B: A 26 will hit. Yes. [00:17:12] Speaker A: Wow. [00:17:13] Speaker C: And that's going to be May. That's going to be 3D10 plus 8. Okay, let's. [00:17:26] Speaker B: That was Hoffa getting into combat. She was cheering for y'. [00:17:31] Speaker D: All. Dang it. [00:17:34] Speaker C: I dropped one. Okay, so that's going to be 26 points of bludgeoning damage. [00:17:48] Speaker B: 26. Okay. And it's bludgeoning. [00:17:53] Speaker C: Yes. For the tail. Bludgeoning, piercing for the bite. [00:17:57] Speaker B: Gotcha. Gotcha. So that reduces to 13. And now I'm tasked to do math. Okay. Okay. [00:18:05] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:18:06] Speaker B: No, that's okay. So, Ro, I'm gonna kind of narrate these in reverse order just for the sake of logical flow. So as you take that step backward, your tail arched down, and as Boz is pinned between the two, that one takes one of its massive crustacean like pincers and goes to strike toward Boz again. And the tail comes down and just. And you. You just compress him into the stone for a second. And it's the massive tail, and it's not this massive whip motion. Your tail's just so massive that as you just bring it down on top of him with resistant step, it's enough to punch him down into the stone. And as he cracks, crawls back up, it's like that crustacean shell was kind of prepared for that sort of a. That sort of a movement. And so, like, he got pushed down and the shell fractures a little bit. It cracks and some blood runs out, but he, like, pushes back up and more of his limbs pull out. He's very much made for physical impact, and he just froths and chitters all the more angrily. When you reach down with your massive jaws and you go to bite down on the other Kuo Toa, there's one sickening crunch just a. And Ro rips the head straight off. And there's this spatter of that sort of silvery blood that they have. And as she turns her head up in the air, she tosses the head out of her mouth and the head spraying blood. And there's this really cool, full Jurassic park like, roar as she does. But as she does Rongrim. Holy crap. A T. Rex rips the head off of her prison bio. And then the body, like, starts to fall backward before there's one more spark of energy and then it. [00:19:42] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:19:44] Speaker B: And there's one thundering. And everyone within 30ft is. [00:19:50] Speaker C: Oh, crap. Sorry, guys. [00:19:54] Speaker B: That is Boz. Wrong Grim Rocks and Greta and I'll take care of their allies. I need every single one of those people to give me a strength save. Saving throw strength. [00:20:05] Speaker C: Saving throw strength. [00:20:06] Speaker D: I love me a strength. [00:20:09] Speaker B: Greta and Boss Greta, there are additional implications here for you as you're up on your broom. [00:20:15] Speaker D: I feel like I can make this. [00:20:22] Speaker E: Okay for a total of 21. [00:20:27] Speaker C: Dude. [00:20:31] Speaker B: That'S wild. Okay, so Kuatoa Carsonized saves acolyte failed. Okay. [00:20:40] Speaker C: Boz got a 12 and Roe got a 16. It would have been higher, but my strength is bad. [00:20:51] Speaker B: That's okay. You rolled with the T. Rex, right? [00:20:54] Speaker C: Wait, T. Rex? Yeah. Sometimes it's good that I talk too much. [00:20:59] Speaker B: Yes. Oh, and also, Tello. Sorry, I should have said Tello. Tello also has to make the same. [00:21:05] Speaker C: Okay, so no, that is a 24. No, no, go ahead. [00:21:16] Speaker E: 16. [00:21:17] Speaker C: 28. [00:21:18] Speaker B: 16. It's gonna save A horrible wave of. [00:21:22] Speaker D: Thunder cracks Ron Grimm got a 24. [00:21:26] Speaker B: Jeez, Daniel, let's go. And the body literally rips itself apart as that thunderous wave of energy passes by you all. And every single person I listed takes 10. 16. That's fine. [00:21:46] Speaker C: Move. [00:21:48] Speaker B: Five low rolls, 21 points of thunder damage. [00:21:53] Speaker C: Do I does RO. [00:21:56] Speaker B: And I'll come back to the yes. And I'll come back to the save in a second. And I need a con saving throw. Actually, j. A a concentration check. [00:22:05] Speaker C: Oh, that's right. Wait, so a 28 didn't. [00:22:11] Speaker D: I think it has a. [00:22:16] Speaker C: But Boss did not. Correct. [00:22:21] Speaker B: Oh, and sorry, I should say who succeeded or not. Yeah, Succeeded. Sorry. Greta Tello. Tello succeeded, and Greta succeeded. So it was Boz alone who failed. [00:22:33] Speaker C: I should have said I for my con. I got a 22. [00:22:39] Speaker B: Okay, that's this guy over. So he's resistance. That's gonna be 10. Okay, 22. Excellent. What'd you get, Greaves? Sorry, what were you saying? [00:22:51] Speaker E: So I got a. I got a 18 on a constitution roll. [00:22:56] Speaker A: Am I still con? [00:22:57] Speaker E: What's the rule for that? I'm sorry. [00:22:58] Speaker B: No, you're good because half of 21 is 10, so you pass. Thank you for checking out on that. You're still concentrating on spirit. [00:23:05] Speaker C: Does Boss also need to make a concave? [00:23:08] Speaker B: Oh, yes. Hot diggity dang, he does. On his fifth level. Call lightning. Thank you. I forgot. [00:23:15] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. Okay, I'm gonna just start using my dice roll for boss because this dice is crapping out. That's gonna be a five for Boss. [00:23:26] Speaker B: We're gonna go to the other concentration penetration as the thunder rakes across him from the direction he wasn't facing. He's pushed down onto his feet, and he loses connection with the spell to which he was holding. And the lightning bolt he was summoning from the air ceases to crackle, and he's no longer got cool lightning. Okay, now, as a note for those saving throws, Greta, you save save. So you remain on your broom, which is good. Boz and everyone else succeeds. So they're fine. Boz and this acolyte are both knocked prone. They both. So Boz is prone here, which is not good for his specific conditions. Not good given his positioning. [00:24:18] Speaker D: Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. [00:24:21] Speaker B: Okay. All right. Holy cow, that was Rose Turn. Now it's the Kuo Toa acolyte. Oh, sorry, sorry. [00:24:29] Speaker D: Which acolyte. Oh, I'm sorry. Which acolyte is prone. [00:24:33] Speaker B: Oh, yes. Sorry. I should specify this one right here. [00:24:36] Speaker D: Okay. [00:24:37] Speaker B: Underneath. Greta, the one in front of you exploded. [00:24:40] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. [00:24:42] Speaker B: So the acolytes are going to go. This guy Critter got up on a broom and left, so he's not particularly productive right now. So Jle and Rickle, could you guys both roll me a D20 and tell me who rolls higher? [00:25:03] Speaker D: Hell yeah. [00:25:04] Speaker C: Confusing. [00:25:07] Speaker D: I got a 19, baby. [00:25:08] Speaker C: I got an 11. [00:25:10] Speaker B: That's unfortunate. He's going to go toward Boz. [00:25:14] Speaker C: What? [00:25:14] Speaker E: Why? [00:25:14] Speaker C: Buzz. [00:25:18] Speaker D: You said T. Rex. Nah. No, thank you. [00:25:21] Speaker B: A bad place. Well, they have a mission. [00:25:25] Speaker C: I know. Dumb. [00:25:27] Speaker B: And they're not particularly smart, so. [00:25:31] Speaker D: They. [00:25:32] Speaker B: Are going to fervently try to carry it out. Oh, this is. This is not good for boss. Okay. Since he is prone, all of these. Since he is prone, all these attacks are at advantage. Correct. Durable. [00:25:47] Speaker E: Oh, yes. [00:25:49] Speaker B: So we are going to get three attacks with advantage from both acolytes. [00:25:57] Speaker C: Can I use a reaction? [00:25:59] Speaker B: Yes. What would that reaction be? [00:26:01] Speaker C: Fighting shield. [00:26:03] Speaker B: You can. Okay. You absolutely can. That is one of his go to's. Go ahead and let me know what level you're casting that out. [00:26:11] Speaker C: Okay. I'm going to cast it at third level. [00:26:28] Speaker B: Okay. Third level. Understood. What? Boss's AC is 16 right now, right? Because he doesn't have the shield out. [00:26:35] Speaker C: Well, his character sheet says that his AC is 18, but. [00:26:43] Speaker B: Well, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on. Durangle. [00:26:46] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:26:47] Speaker B: Oh, because his dex is 5, your total decks gets added on your AC no matter what armor. Unless you're wearing heavy armor, right? [00:26:55] Speaker D: Yeah. So it's 10 plus 5. [00:26:58] Speaker B: So he'd be at 15. And then his boon gives him a plus 1. So that puts him as 16. [00:27:07] Speaker C: His slippers give a plus 1, which puts him at 17. [00:27:10] Speaker B: And his 18 is probably correct. [00:27:12] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:27:13] Speaker B: No, no. But he doesn't have. So he doesn't have formidable foliage. He doesn't have formidable foliage up. So he is at 18. Understood? [00:27:21] Speaker C: Understood. [00:27:21] Speaker B: Understood. Thank you. The first attack from the acolyte misses, even though he's prone rough. So you'll use spiny shield once he hits successfully. [00:27:30] Speaker C: Okay. [00:27:30] Speaker B: The second one's a crit, so that one will take the spiny shield. And then the third one is not very high. I'm not rolling well, which is good because last time I was rolling. Amazing. The third one's a 15, so he's only going to hit with the one criteria he's going to deal. 14 +3. 17. Boz is not neutrally resistant to fire. Right. He has to get fire shield up for that. [00:28:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:28:04] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. That's 17 times 2 is 34 points of damage. To boss on that crit. [00:28:13] Speaker A: Wow. [00:28:14] Speaker C: Okay. And I rolled nine points with the. [00:28:20] Speaker B: Okay, the 34 is reduced by nine. So he's now at 26. Damage is what he takes. And then the nine is dealt back to the Kuoa who attacked him. [00:28:32] Speaker D: 25 damage, right? [00:28:35] Speaker B: Yes. Yes, 25. Thank you, Daniel. Thank you. So nine he's dealt back to the Kuo Toa. So as the Kuo Toa rushes up to him, it takes its massive, like, tooth sword into the stone. And then. But both times where Boz is prone, he's. I mean, he's got a 20 in dexterity. He's very slippery and quick, and I mean, like, incredibly. So he just does this really quick roll and then another quick roll. But the Kuo Toa, as he goes to make a third one and, like, do a little, like, barrel roll, the Kuo Toa just lifts up a foot and steps down on his leg and pins him down and takes the blade and just stabs it into him and some of the fire. But as it does, Boz reaches his hand up, and where the Druid's defense is on his arm, it just stabs out with all these thorns and spines that stab back into the Kuo Toa and interrupt the strike. This Kuo Toa is definitely looking bloodied. And not that you're not aware you have eyes, Jack, just as a heads up, you are aware that boss is in a very dangerous position right now. [00:29:34] Speaker C: Yes. [00:29:36] Speaker B: Okay. It's very ironic that the session that Landon was not here is the most injured boss has gotten in 100 sessions or 100 episodes. Okay. Now, the other carcinized Kuo Toa is going to take its attacks at advantage because he still hasn't gotten up 17 on the first one misses. I can't hit a guy on the ground. Second one misses. Okay. And then the third one is exactly an 18. So there's more deft footwork as Boz reached up with Druid's defense. The thorns and roots, like, jabbed out in the face of the Kuo to which steps back. So the other one starts snapping at him. And again, more quick rolling, more quick feet. But finally. And those. His little jingly slippers from mesmet are as he's doing all this quick footwork, but the last blade reaches out and nicks him, and he's going to take. [00:30:38] Speaker D: Does that spiny shield continue to help with this one, or is it just the one? [00:30:43] Speaker B: I don't. Yes. Right. [00:30:44] Speaker C: Does it. I. [00:30:47] Speaker B: Well, let me look. [00:30:49] Speaker D: I don't know how it Works. [00:30:51] Speaker B: No, no, no. Cuz I remembered it had a repeated action. But I also remember that Landon and I talked about that being like, that's crazy. [00:30:58] Speaker C: Until your next turn when you are hit by a melee attack, the barrier reduces the damage. You deal by 2d4. [00:31:06] Speaker B: I'll tell you what. Here's. Here's the thing. Landon and I talked about this months ago, and we agreed that that was a little bronkin for a second level spell. And so we took away that feature. But how about right now? In his desperate moment of defense, that feature is returned from. [00:31:25] Speaker C: So do I roll it again or is it the same number? [00:31:29] Speaker B: Roll it again. Roll it again. [00:31:30] Speaker C: Okay. [00:31:33] Speaker B: Because he's got 18 damage on deck. [00:31:42] Speaker D: Okay. [00:31:50] Speaker C: 11. [00:31:51] Speaker D: Okay. [00:31:52] Speaker B: So he's only gonna take seven damage. [00:31:54] Speaker C: Well, and it's the A. His AC is now 20 with this fighting shield as well. [00:32:03] Speaker B: Oh, so then it wouldn't be hit. [00:32:07] Speaker C: Oh, I'm so sorry. [00:32:08] Speaker B: It shouldn't. No, that's okay. [00:32:09] Speaker C: It provides a plus 2 bonus to AC against anyone for the duration. [00:32:15] Speaker B: That was why he and I decided that the feature should not. [00:32:17] Speaker C: Okay. [00:32:18] Speaker B: Because it was a reduction in damage and dealing it back and an increase to ac and it continues working. And we were like, wow, that's a really good fifth level spell. Never mind. It's second level. [00:32:27] Speaker C: No, it's first, actually. [00:32:29] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, that's right. [00:32:30] Speaker C: I'm casting it at third. [00:32:32] Speaker B: Jeez, it's. I love Humblewood, but that one spell is a little. It's cool. It should have been a higher level spell. Okay, no problem. So then the third one doesn't hit, and it's. It's like. As he moves backward, the sword gets too close to him, but it's like Druid defense just flashes out really quickly and protects him as. As the blade is chipped away. That's really good. He needed that. Okay, at the end of the Kuo Toa, acolytes turn the Senesce. The Unceasing Massacre, not the senescent atrocity. Guys, this is so much to run. This is one of the most. No, hold on. [00:33:25] Speaker D: Craig. [00:33:25] Speaker B: The magical effect on you is your wings. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:33:29] Speaker C: What? [00:33:30] Speaker A: Wait, What? [00:33:32] Speaker B: But you're 10ft up, so that makes it 35. The unceasing massacre. Yeah, it's gonna go ahead and do that. The Unceasing Massacre is going to. Sensing the presence of. Of arcane magic being wielded by another in its range. It is going to expend its last legendary action, and it is going to use Mage's Bane. So there's just this, like, seep of red, greenish magic that washes out from it, and it just targets a source of magic within range. Again, this thing doesn't have much of a brain, but it just feels the presence of magic, and it is going to target Baz's spiny shield, and it is using a third level dispel magic, which you cast at third. Is that correct, Jackie? [00:34:21] Speaker C: I did cast it at third. [00:34:23] Speaker B: So his spiny sealed. His spiny shield simply dissolves. [00:34:27] Speaker C: Okay, cool. [00:34:29] Speaker B: Yeah, this thing's the worst. All right. Okay. Oh, wait. I took the. This ring off. But that ring was for being prone. Okay, now it's boss's turn on deck. Greta's up after that. [00:34:47] Speaker C: Okay, so question about prone. I. I looked up what prone does, but. Yes, I. So it changes my movement and dis. Okay, so. But can I still cast? [00:35:01] Speaker B: Yeah, you still spell cast. Doesn't change anything about that. [00:35:05] Speaker C: Okay, so first I'm gonna cast healing word on myself. [00:35:11] Speaker B: Got it. [00:35:11] Speaker C: As a bonus action. Yes. Where. What am I. What am I trying to do? So that's gonna be. [00:35:28] Speaker B: Remember, when Boss heals, there's a place plus six. [00:35:30] Speaker C: Yes, I have that. [00:35:36] Speaker D: Is it Greta next, or is Rongrim next? [00:35:39] Speaker B: Wrong. Grim's next. Greta's up after that. Perfect. And then. I know. I'm sorry, Mickle. This one's stressful. [00:35:49] Speaker C: So I took back 12 points of healing. [00:35:52] Speaker B: Excellent. [00:35:53] Speaker C: Which is really good. [00:35:55] Speaker B: Boz brief breathes for a moment, and roots spread out from his fingers into the earth. Connects with some latent amount of life in this place. He just whispers a word in sylvan and knits some of his own wounds back together. [00:36:07] Speaker C: Wait, so this is not a boss thing? This is just a normal thing? I should know. [00:36:13] Speaker B: Hey, ask your question. You're running two characters because I cast. [00:36:17] Speaker C: I can't cast again in this turn. Right. [00:36:20] Speaker B: Not a leveled spell. [00:36:21] Speaker C: Not a leveled spell spell. [00:36:22] Speaker B: You could do a cantrip, or you could use wild shape. Whichever. That's. That's not. [00:36:27] Speaker C: That is. That is true. But okay, the guy. [00:36:31] Speaker B: You are aware that he's in a very disadvantageous position. Yeah, but because so much dengue right. [00:36:37] Speaker C: Now, if I'm prone, I can crawl. Correct. [00:36:41] Speaker D: You could also use half of your movement to stand up. [00:36:43] Speaker B: If you use half your movement to stand up, you can't stay pro. [00:36:46] Speaker C: I can do that. Okay. Okay. [00:36:48] Speaker B: Also remember that Boss has. How much extra movement does he get from Mesmetz? [00:36:53] Speaker C: Well, he has his movement on his character. Sheet says he has 50 movement. [00:36:57] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. The Mesfit slippers. Give him 50. [00:37:00] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:37:00] Speaker B: So 25 to stand up and he'd still have 25. [00:37:03] Speaker C: Let's do that. So I'm gonna stand up. [00:37:06] Speaker B: Okay. With a jolted motion, he raises himself. [00:37:11] Speaker C: Yes. Okay. If I. Is there somebody. Is that Tello? That's too. [00:37:18] Speaker B: Tello's over here underneath the T Rex. This is a Kuo Toa acolyte. This is a Kuo Toa acolyte. And this is a Kuo Toa Carcinos. That's a massacre. He's in a bad place. [00:37:30] Speaker C: And then. So if I were to move. If I were to move. If I were to move away from you. What is okay this way? [00:37:39] Speaker B: Oh, this is a massive rock. Oh, there's a big one up here. [00:37:42] Speaker C: Okay. [00:37:43] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it's five feet up. [00:37:44] Speaker C: Okay. [00:37:44] Speaker D: You could go underneath the T Rex. [00:37:47] Speaker C: I could, couldn't I? Could I move under this? Could I move under row? [00:37:52] Speaker B: Yes. I'd have you give me an acrobatics check to weave in between the legs, but it wouldn't. I'd call it DC10. He's got great acrobatics. I am 5, 10. [00:38:00] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:38:00] Speaker B: Where are you trying to go? Because once you get under this leg. [00:38:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:38:05] Speaker B: There's a rock blocking you over here. And then tell her over here. So you could slip. You could go 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. [00:38:12] Speaker C: Let's do that. I would like to do that. [00:38:15] Speaker B: Which is actually 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. The exact same path around this is a whole lot more normal. [00:38:20] Speaker C: Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. [00:38:24] Speaker D: You could also use an action to disengage if you didn't want to get 3 opportunity. Just letting you know. [00:38:33] Speaker B: Sorry. [00:38:36] Speaker C: Yeah, let's do that actually. Thank you. No, thank you. I. I need that. Playing a new character a lot. Think I don't know how you guys do it as DMs. Okay. So yeah, I would disengage and then can I still use my movement? [00:38:54] Speaker D: Yeah, you can still. You just don't use your action anymore, sadly. Let it just. [00:38:58] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which is fine. Cuz I can't cast anything right now anyways and he doesn't have much. Okay, so disengage. Movement and acrobatics check is going to be a. [00:39:15] Speaker D: One second. Sorry. [00:39:17] Speaker B: I mean, as long as you don't roll like a three, you'll be fine. [00:39:19] Speaker C: Oh, okay. Well, it's. It's an. It's a 19. [00:39:23] Speaker B: Yeah. Boz weaves his way effectively, is no longer prone, moves to here. And you, you action. Disengage. [00:39:31] Speaker C: Yes. [00:39:32] Speaker B: That's a good idea. With his incredible quickness, he darts and rolls as blades and claws. But he like he does in fact with a 20 dexterity he kind of does like a barrel roll like front foot flip over the Kuo Toa. And as he into the sand, one big T. Rex like crunches down next to him. And he slides past that and moves over to this position panting. Having recovered his position and moved away from a zone of danger. Sick. [00:40:03] Speaker C: Okay, I'm happy with that. [00:40:04] Speaker B: It's Rongrim's turn. What are you doing? [00:40:06] Speaker C: Paws out. [00:40:09] Speaker D: Rongrim seeing the explosion that just happened in front of his face like turning around with like all this like electricity pushing up his hair and stuff. [00:40:16] Speaker B: Yes. [00:40:17] Speaker D: He just like looks around. He's like this is the heat of battle and I think he's gonna further turn right now. Just sheathe his sword and grab his trident two handed. [00:40:29] Speaker B: Oh heck yeah. [00:40:31] Speaker D: And he's gonna whisper in dwarven. Remember to activate one of the sapphire runes on his trident as it like slowly erupts into a bigger like flame bolts on each of them. He then uses his reaction and say I need your cold revenge. As it turns from fire into like these sharp icicles that come all out. And almost like his warmth of his own body is like giving these heat like I don't know where. Yeah, yeah. That's what we're calling it. Off the frozen chitin. As I look to my next victim. And I'm going to if I can because you do flanking right. So if I get behind. [00:41:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:20] Speaker D: Yes, big boy. I don't have to use reckless. [00:41:24] Speaker B: That is correct Durangle. [00:41:25] Speaker D: I would like to try to stab it twice with my trident. [00:41:29] Speaker B: Do it. Hit him with steps. [00:41:32] Speaker D: Oh so close. I got a 33 and a 28. [00:41:42] Speaker E: Wow. [00:41:43] Speaker B: Well yeah those will hit. [00:41:47] Speaker D: Okay, I need to differentiate the trident damage right. [00:41:53] Speaker B: From the cold. [00:41:54] Speaker C: This is melee, right? [00:41:56] Speaker B: Yes, actually. Yes. Thank you. Yeah. [00:41:59] Speaker C: So is he within 15ft of boss? Who? [00:42:07] Speaker B: No, he's just moved outside of that range. [00:42:09] Speaker C: Okay, okay. [00:42:10] Speaker B: Sorry but it's probably worth the flanking but way to be paying attention. [00:42:16] Speaker D: I do. I'm gonna give you the non cold damage first. For both the hits that holders this is six. Oh, hold on. [00:42:29] Speaker B: Rude. [00:42:33] Speaker D: 30 non cold damage and then. Okay, I will roll my cold damage. Yes. [00:42:43] Speaker B: He said like a villain roll for me. [00:42:48] Speaker C: My days. [00:42:52] Speaker B: Micah's so stressed. [00:42:55] Speaker A: I am studying my abilities right now and every moment. [00:43:01] Speaker D: 40 cold. [00:43:03] Speaker B: 40 cold damage. [00:43:07] Speaker A: Jeez. [00:43:07] Speaker B: Wrong grim. As wrong grim the increasingly legendary barbarian. Or excuse me Durgal. Is that A way you want to flavor all that damage. [00:43:17] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. [00:43:18] Speaker B: If you. [00:43:19] Speaker D: If you're okay with that, I think. [00:43:20] Speaker B: No, no, no. Take it away. It's your show. [00:43:22] Speaker D: I'm gonna run around and, like, this is the crab guys, right? [00:43:26] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:43:28] Speaker D: I think what he's gonna go to is, like, he's the. I feel like the trident is just so much bigger in width now that he's just, like, grabbing him, and he's just like. Oh, he's almost, like, using the leg that's of. In front in front of the T Rex as, like, a pinning attack as he just, like, pins him once. And then I like, lift him up, and I kind of, like, put the sphere down. I know it's not gonna kill him. [00:43:50] Speaker B: But, like, like, it makes it go. [00:43:52] Speaker D: Even farther down as he falls to the ground. And I just say, yes, you're in here with me. [00:43:58] Speaker B: Yeah, Daniel. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. I'm gonna need inspiration. That was so cool. Okay, you, with some quick footwork, you around the carcinized, and as, like. As you're, like, facing off again, like, the whole part where you were speaking to your trident, it's like snapping at you with its claws, and you're, like, batting them away. And as you're doing it, you're whispering to your trident. And this is where, like, the fire goes hotter, and then the flames just extinguish and it with ice. And like you said, as the ice builds up on it, it literally expands the width and size of the trident as this additional physical material builds up around it, sharp and brittle. And as the ice pulls up your arms, you just look at it with steely eyes. And as you whisper threateningly, you're trapped in here with me. You stab into the trident, lift it up above the T Rex, toss it out of a hand, grab it, and then back down into the ground. And as you do, the back of its carapace fractures, and blood begins to well up before freezing under the icy pool. And you pull it back out. It looks terribly wounded. It's barely holding on. Some of the bubbling froth of blood coming out of its multisexual mouth parts, they don't have chelicerate, but as the chittering mouth parts move, some of the blood freezes, and the mouth parts quick and can't move anymore, but it still glares at you with those eyes. That's awesome. Really cool. All right, Greta, it's your turn. The Kuo Toa. Two different Kuo Toa are up. And then it's the MCC massacre. And Then it's Craig and tell. [00:45:40] Speaker E: I would. Okay. I would like to be within a 30 foot radius sphere of everyone, all of my allies. Can you tell me where that is? [00:45:58] Speaker B: Yes, I will check. So you're 10ft up. 5. 10, 15, 20. 25. If you move one forward, one this way, you will be within 30ft of everyone. [00:46:12] Speaker E: Okay. And then, okay, if you fly right. [00:46:18] Speaker B: Up next to rocks, you're within 30ft of boz Tello. Wrong. And Rorex. And actually, no, you're gonna have to choose between being within 30ft of Wrongdam or 30ft of Craig. [00:46:33] Speaker D: Go for Craig. Go for Craig. [00:46:35] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. [00:46:39] Speaker E: So I'll move so I can include. Oh, well, you know what? [00:46:43] Speaker A: Okay. [00:46:44] Speaker B: Right where you are. You already have Craig. Right where you are. You have everybody. Just not wrong. [00:46:49] Speaker E: Well, then I will stay there and I'm gonna cast mass sure wounds on everyone. [00:46:54] Speaker B: She was a puppet. [00:46:55] Speaker D: She's human. [00:46:57] Speaker E: Rocks, Boz, Craig Tello. [00:47:03] Speaker B: That's phenomenal. Amazing. [00:47:05] Speaker E: Okay. [00:47:06] Speaker C: All right. [00:47:07] Speaker E: See, I have room for your on grin too. So that is 3D8 and I roll it, correct? [00:47:12] Speaker B: Yes. [00:47:15] Speaker C: Heck, thank you. [00:47:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:47:19] Speaker B: Micah, thank you. I need it. [00:47:29] Speaker E: That's a 16 points of healing for everyone. [00:47:32] Speaker B: Phenomenal, Greta. What does it look like as you. As you emanate that immense wave of healing from yourself? [00:47:41] Speaker E: I think she's. I think it comes off like, let's see. I think that she sees her teammates getting hurt. Well, her teammates and her like good, good friends getting hurt. And I think whereas normally she would like, instead of releasing like a cry, like a stressed out cry, and the magic just kind of flowing out of her uncontrolled. I think she's. She's grown a lot as a spellcaster. She's grown a lot as like. Like a fighter and a cleric. So she's gonna like just let out like a. Like a. Like a loud war cry. And like that flows out of her. The magic. [00:48:29] Speaker B: Phenomenal, Greta, as you grab your symbol and cry out a truth, and that shrill cry emerges, that huge wave of greenish energy. Wait, right. Green. Your magic green. Yeah. [00:48:41] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:48:42] Speaker B: Or was it blue? [00:48:43] Speaker E: It's green. [00:48:44] Speaker B: Excellent. I always get confused and I don't know how that green wave emanates out of you. And as always, as we've about talked. Talked about, when Greta heals you, you not only feel the magic knitting together your wounds, but you are reassured of a truth. And as you all feel this truth embedded in your mind, some moment that you've had in your lives spent with Greta reassures you that you will Survive. And that this will be something you'll endure. Phenomenal. Anything else from your turn? [00:49:11] Speaker E: I can cast a cantrip, right? [00:49:15] Speaker B: You can? Yeah, as long as it's a bonus action. [00:49:19] Speaker E: Oh, it's not a bonus. [00:49:20] Speaker B: Use your action to cast the spell. [00:49:21] Speaker E: Okay, cool. Then actually I would like to move. I would like to fly over rocks. Wait, okay, what's my. [00:49:37] Speaker B: Hold on. [00:49:37] Speaker E: I'm sorry. Don't know my movement. [00:49:39] Speaker B: That's. That's okay. [00:49:40] Speaker E: That's my movement on the broom. I'm sorry. [00:49:43] Speaker B: That should be a stat you should have in your position. [00:49:45] Speaker E: I don't have the stat. [00:49:47] Speaker B: Oh God. I think we discussed this last time. [00:49:51] Speaker E: Yeah, I. I seem to remember someone having the stat on the broom and me not finding it. [00:49:57] Speaker B: Okay. [00:49:59] Speaker D: I think it's 40, ain't it? [00:50:03] Speaker B: For some reason Daniel knows I know. [00:50:06] Speaker D: What a broom of flying is. [00:50:09] Speaker B: I also want to. Oh, I had it. I have it in my. In my notes. Okay, let me. Let me go grab those real quick. I'll be right back. [00:50:17] Speaker E: I'm sorry. I'm trying to find in the discord. [00:50:26] Speaker B: Hey, man. Grace and mercy. Grace and mercy. I'm not here to try to make you feel stinky. Okay, give me a second because I gotta. I gotta flip to it. Oh, wow. I flipped there immediately. Yes. You have 40 foot flying speed. [00:50:42] Speaker E: Okay. [00:50:44] Speaker B: So if anyone wants to type this in Greta's channel really quickly. The broom of the dusk witch is attunement. It gives her dexterity, proficiency in dexterity saving throws while she's riding it and a 40 foot flying. Hell yeah. Okay. Diggity dope. [00:51:05] Speaker D: Diggity dope. [00:51:06] Speaker B: Diggity dope. [00:51:08] Speaker E: I would like to move. [00:51:09] Speaker D: I'm sorry. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Okay, you can go five, ten. [00:51:12] Speaker D: You're going to. [00:51:12] Speaker B: You're trying to go to the other side of row? [00:51:17] Speaker E: I think so. [00:51:18] Speaker B: Okay. [00:51:19] Speaker E: We're actually. I'm just going to fly backwards and feet. [00:51:23] Speaker B: And you and I both implicitly know what backwards is in this. Sorry, does that mean toward me? [00:51:28] Speaker E: Yes, towards you. [00:51:30] Speaker B: Okay. Over here. This way? [00:51:32] Speaker E: Yeah. I just want to get out of being in a cluster because I feel like that. [00:51:36] Speaker B: Oh, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. So five, ten. You're gonna have to fly up a little bit too to get over this wall. But you have the movement for it. [00:51:44] Speaker E: Okay, I'm so sorry. Can I instead stay below the cliff where I was and fly into that little corner? [00:51:50] Speaker B: Do you want to go kind of like this way? [00:51:52] Speaker E: I do. Does that put me out of 30ft range of other people? [00:51:58] Speaker B: That leaves you. I mean you're with. You're still very much within 30 of Boz, Tello and Rorex. That puts you 5, 10, 15. No. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. You're out of 30 with Craig and Wrongvin. But you're within 30 of Telo, Boz and Rorex. [00:52:15] Speaker E: Okay, I think that's a little better. But I do want to say at the same time hype that I was understood. [00:52:20] Speaker B: I moved you back down. So Greta makes a quick like spinning motion with the head of her broom and over to the edge of the the ravine wall. Phenomenal. That is Greta's turn. We go to the Kuo Toa exalted who's probably gonna do something stinky. Ah, she is gonna cast. The OR bearer has to die. The massacre might do that for her. Wait, so is that she is going to. Who does. Who else does she need to ruin? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. She's going to head and go ahead and cast. She didn't come here for any reason other than to ensure the survival of the Dawning One. So right Atiya, right in between Rox's legs from where she is at the cliff face base, she actually you know what? No. Here's the first thing she's going to do. She's going to go 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. She's going to get out of Dodge. She actually right here she doesn't want to be anywhere near that unceasing massacre. That is not a place she wants to be except that. Has a reach. Its range is crazy. So as she starts. As she starts sprinting away from the unceasing massacre up the cliff, up the 15 foot cliff and another five feet away she turns to one and a massive like pseudopod conglomerate of bones. Just it's this horrible like contorted mass of bone fragments and smashed down on top of her on the cliff and she's about to take a stupid amount of damage. See. [00:54:27] Speaker D: Good job bony boy. [00:54:30] Speaker B: That's. He's the worst but he's everybody's enemy. Oh geez. 12 plus 10, 22, 25 plus 7. 32 points of bludgeoning damage. Hot diggity dang slam stone down on top of her from the other side of the ravine. She like stumbles and like like you hear like a bone break and she screams something in Kuo Toa and and keeps crawling away. Now a little bit more desperately, a little less confidently, the Kuo Toa priest from across the way shouts something back in Kuo Toaan. But you can't really like you don't know what it means or what they're communicating, but she turns with determination, bleeding all over the place now with bone fragments stuck between her scales. And, and now, now she's going to turn, shout something in Kuo toa and point. And with a finger she has rang dang. And this little mote of red light flies across the space and in between the legs of Rox. And she's going to go ahead and put a six level fireball down and she's going to use three of her sorcery points to give dis to use empowered spell and give disadvantage to. Tello. She's seen him be very quick. So she's going to give disadvantage on the deck saving throw. [00:55:57] Speaker E: To tell you right now, I, I shouldn't know. I don't have it written down. [00:56:02] Speaker B: So I, I mean he was then he fired, but also he's not like universally hidden. He's just standing, standing in the middle of the open ravine. So he was, he was hidden to certain people in certain perspectives of the T. Rex. But from where she's standing, she's just looking straight down at him. We're using some pretty unique characteristics for his hiddenness at the moment. [00:56:21] Speaker C: Wait, is she aiming at Boss or. [00:56:24] Speaker B: This is going in between your legs, Rocks. [00:56:26] Speaker C: But is it aimed at me? [00:56:29] Speaker B: Excuse me, excuse me. I haven't done enough narrative. Allow me to re, Allow me to re explain. She points a finger, a moat of fiery light flies in between your legs and then I understand. A ball of fire 20ft in radius in every direction. A 40 foot ball of fire swallows up the middle of the ravine, hitting abso FR lutely everyone, including Rorex, the, the Carsonized. Wrong Tello, the other acolyte, Boz, not Greta and. And not the other four. Everybody right here. [00:57:05] Speaker C: Cool. Really cool. [00:57:08] Speaker B: Always down the cliff. [00:57:10] Speaker D: I used my inspiration and I got a 22. [00:57:14] Speaker B: Okay, that might not have been the worst call. I'm gonna get a 22. Let me know when the club rolls. [00:57:24] Speaker C: What are we making? I'm so sorry. I got very confused for half a second. [00:57:29] Speaker B: Dexterity saving throw. [00:57:30] Speaker C: De save. Okay, got you. [00:57:33] Speaker A: Did boss have to make it? Did Boss have to make it? [00:57:36] Speaker B: No. Yeah, Boss. [00:57:38] Speaker A: Is he within 10ft of me? [00:57:40] Speaker B: No, he's 5. 10, 15, 20, 25. 30ft from you. [00:57:44] Speaker A: Oh, I thought you said boss. [00:57:47] Speaker B: Boss is 30ft away from me. Oh, dang. [00:57:50] Speaker D: He knew it. [00:57:50] Speaker E: Okay, never mind. [00:57:53] Speaker B: Okay. [00:57:55] Speaker C: Oh, these are bad. I'm in danger. Boss and Rocks both got a seven somehow. Oh, no. [00:58:09] Speaker B: Spaghetti, y'. [00:58:10] Speaker D: All. [00:58:14] Speaker B: And boss has a crazy metaphor. Yeah. What? Tell again. [00:58:17] Speaker E: Intel had disadvantage. Correct. [00:58:22] Speaker D: Okay. [00:58:27] Speaker E: 12. [00:58:28] Speaker B: 12. That's not good. Dang. [00:58:32] Speaker C: All right, well, boss is also rolling a disadvantage, right? Because he's exhausted. [00:58:39] Speaker B: Not saving throws. [00:58:40] Speaker C: Not saving throws. [00:58:41] Speaker B: It's ability checks. [00:58:42] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:58:42] Speaker B: Oh, you have to get a lot more exhaustion. [00:58:44] Speaker C: I don't know what the other one is. [00:58:46] Speaker B: I rolled. Go ahead and roll again for me. Just roll. [00:58:49] Speaker C: Because I rolled. The one that I gave him was a two. [00:58:52] Speaker B: Yeah, it's all good. [00:58:53] Speaker C: Oh, and can I go with the first one I took? [00:58:58] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:58:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Was it. Would you just roll a nat one? Okay, we'll. We'll stick with the seven. Okay, so Boss fails. Row fails. Tello fails. Oh, excuse me. I need to make some saves. [00:59:18] Speaker D: Do I. [00:59:18] Speaker C: Do I also need to make a fails? [00:59:21] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But hold off on that, cuz let me figure out the damage first. Carsonized fail. Everybody fails except wrong. [00:59:31] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:59:31] Speaker B: Is the one person who does not fail. So. Hot diggity dang. 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 46 points of fire damage. That is 46 points of fire damage for Boz. 46 points of fire damage for Tello. 46 points of fire damage for Rocks, and 23 points of fire damage for Wrong Vim. [01:00:06] Speaker D: Which goes down to 11 because you're resistant. [01:00:14] Speaker B: Very good, Very good, Very good. [01:00:15] Speaker D: Resistant, baby. [01:00:17] Speaker B: And okay, so the carcinized is resistance. So he takes 23. Oh, and that kills because you did so much damage to the one in front of you wrong. That kills the car. [01:00:29] Speaker D: Sorry, Rocks. [01:00:31] Speaker C: Oh, no, no, it's okay. Rorex is now just row. [01:00:38] Speaker B: Well, it was a very useful move. I mean. [01:00:42] Speaker A: Yeah, it was. It was. [01:00:43] Speaker B: It was the right move. It was good while it lasted. And I have a question. And a burst of fire as the ball disappears appears. It's a weird. It's a weird perspective from the outside because it's like Roe melts into the fire. She just. And then T. Rex, like, roars and falls, and then when the flames leave, it's just Ro sitting there, scorched on the ground. Yes, I've. Because I've done this overflow of damage. [01:01:08] Speaker C: Yes. [01:01:09] Speaker B: The overflow of damage over your hit points is taken to Ro for perfect. [01:01:13] Speaker C: Okay, well, that's not very many, so I'm cool with that. [01:01:18] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, you made a phenomenal call with the Polymorph. It was the right move. And now the battle map's much easier to see. [01:01:26] Speaker C: It's all right. [01:01:27] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:01:28] Speaker B: Now there's another particularly negative outcome from this Scenario. [01:01:33] Speaker C: No, bad. Don't tell me that. [01:01:37] Speaker B: As the fireball engulfed the area, it killed the carcinized, and I had badly burned everyone else. It also kills this acolyte. [01:01:48] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:01:49] Speaker B: Who then sparks with energy. [01:01:50] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:01:51] Speaker B: For a thunderous crack. Goes off, and his body explodes. I'll take 4, 5, 6, 7, 7 D6 Thunder damage. I'm gonna need a strength saving throw from. [01:02:11] Speaker D: Within. [01:02:11] Speaker B: 30. That's freaking everyone except Brett. That's literally everybody. [01:02:16] Speaker C: Strength saving. [01:02:21] Speaker B: Jeez, I'm on that one. [01:02:28] Speaker D: I got a 29 saves. [01:02:31] Speaker B: Carson, ice saves. [01:02:34] Speaker E: Oh, oh. [01:02:35] Speaker B: All three saved. Okay, 29. Cheese Frogger. [01:02:41] Speaker C: Boz got a 13, and Roe got a nine. [01:02:47] Speaker B: Okay. [01:02:49] Speaker E: Is a saving throw an ability check? It doesn't matter. Well, actually, is it an ability check? Should I be rolling a disadvantage for Greta? [01:02:55] Speaker B: No. [01:02:56] Speaker E: No saving. Okay, thank you. [01:02:58] Speaker B: And Greta doesn't need to make this. She's out of range. [01:03:00] Speaker E: Right. Tello got a 19. Actually, both times, I rolled a disadvantage, and he got a 19. [01:03:07] Speaker B: Okay, great. [01:03:08] Speaker A: And Craig doing math. [01:03:14] Speaker E: Nine plus 14 plus four is 18. I got an 18. [01:03:21] Speaker D: Okay. Yeah. [01:03:24] Speaker B: Craig saves. As the wave of thunder sound rushes across. Craig wronged him, obviously. And Tello all save as they bolster themselves and press against the sound. Kind of more expecting it from their last burst. But Boz is caught off guard as well as Ro. So both Boz and Roe are knocked prone. Just a nifty little mini impediment there. And absolutely all of you all take 10, 20. 27 points of thunder damage. Wow, this carcinized. They're both resistant. So that's going to be 13. [01:04:20] Speaker D: That's a lot of damage. [01:04:23] Speaker B: That's a lot of damage. Now, do y' all want to know the real kicker of it all? [01:04:30] Speaker C: No, I don't know if I do. [01:04:33] Speaker D: Yes. [01:04:34] Speaker B: This Kuo Toa had two hit points. So after a wave of thunderous sound. Oh, rockets over him. Oh, that one. [01:04:43] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:04:44] Speaker B: It's hit by the sound that moves across it, and as it does, the force literally ruptures it, rips it apart, and then that one explodes. The third Kuo Toa acolyte pops off. [01:04:59] Speaker D: Is this all hitting the bone guy, too? [01:05:03] Speaker B: This one. This one was now in range of the Unceasing Massacre. So the Unceasing Massacre is about to get rocked by this. You're never going to believe this, but I need some strength saving throws now. As a note. As a note, this isn't everybody. I need a strength saving throw from Craig. I'll make the two carcinized Ro Tello Bon wrong's. Out of range. No. Excuse me. So is boss. So Boss and wrong Grim are both out of range. [01:05:33] Speaker C: Good. [01:05:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Boss is out of rich. [01:05:36] Speaker C: Ro got a ro got a nine. [01:05:38] Speaker E: Got a 14. [01:05:42] Speaker B: Okay. It's so disheartening that Tello escaped the first one and then got hit with the second one. [01:05:49] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:05:50] Speaker C: And what is this one? What is this coming from the other one? The other one that just. [01:05:57] Speaker B: Yeah, the explosion of the second one killed the third one. [01:05:59] Speaker C: What do you get? I'm going to die. [01:06:02] Speaker B: Super fun 8. Oh, buddy. [01:06:06] Speaker A: I only have 30 hit points. [01:06:10] Speaker B: That means Craig's prone in front of the unceasing massacre, which goes before him. Oh my gosh. [01:06:18] Speaker A: And I just used my inspiration. Wait, wait. [01:06:23] Speaker B: Oh my gosh. [01:06:24] Speaker A: Wait a second. [01:06:26] Speaker D: Did you add your plus three on? [01:06:29] Speaker A: I love this. Okay. I also get to reroll a D20 because of the boon of the side. [01:06:36] Speaker B: Of the side of one. Let's go jiggle, jiggle. Pickle, pickle. [01:06:40] Speaker A: Please be better. That would be 24. We are. [01:06:45] Speaker B: That is better. That is. We are so back. We're so back. [01:06:51] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:06:52] Speaker B: Okay, so Craig is not knocked prone. And the acolytes are fine. Yeah. Or the carcinites. Okay, so more wave. More people knocked prone. Basically half the fungi's are on their butts right now in the blackened earth. And now we roll damage again. Oh, and then the unceasing massacre, I guess has turned. No, it's immune to the prone condition because it's a massive pile of bones. That's right. Okay. Damn. I had to check its conditions. Now we're gonna roll some damage. Okay, I rolled much lower on this one. I only have one die above a three. So that is 10, 15, 17 points of thunder damage. Much better this time. Much better this time. [01:07:43] Speaker C: And if you didn't have to roll that saving. You don't take that damage, Right? [01:07:47] Speaker B: Yes. [01:07:48] Speaker C: So like boss doesn't take that. [01:07:49] Speaker B: Okay, so that means that Craig takes 17 thunder damage. As did Row. As does Tello. The unceasing massacre takes 17 damage. Cool. Damage is damage. Not particularly feeling it, but that's fine. Then the carcinized. [01:08:13] Speaker D: Oh my goodness. [01:08:14] Speaker B: What's half of 17? Somebody eight. Yeah, well, they're getting whittled down. That's not unmeaningful. Okay. Both of the carcinized as the. As the waves of thunder rock across them. They are both looking cracked. Very, very cracked and fractured and bleeding. And Craig's at a really bad place. Okay, that was a wild turn. That was crazy. It's now the Kuwa To a high priest. Turn. There's nothing funny about Micah going. What? At another enemy? Going before her. Craig. Craig and Teller rolled real bad on initiative. [01:09:01] Speaker D: What do we do? [01:09:02] Speaker B: What do we do? Well, it would durangle. You don't know the range of heal off the top of your head, do you? [01:09:10] Speaker D: Heal the spell. [01:09:11] Speaker C: Million feet to all your allies? [01:09:15] Speaker D: No idea. [01:09:17] Speaker B: Just heal. Oh, my gosh. [01:09:19] Speaker D: I feel like a good amount of distance. [01:09:22] Speaker B: 60Ft. [01:09:23] Speaker C: Them. [01:09:26] Speaker D: She could heal the unceasing master. [01:09:29] Speaker B: She could. I don't think she has a lot of motivation to do that, actually. [01:09:33] Speaker D: I'm just saying she could heal me. [01:09:39] Speaker B: She could do that. Technically speaking, she has no interest in trying to kill the Unceasing massacre right now. [01:09:51] Speaker C: Why not? [01:09:52] Speaker B: It's going to do her dirty work. So she's going to use. [01:09:57] Speaker D: She doesn't even know me, though. Like, I could be on her side. [01:10:01] Speaker B: What if. What if she thinks you're cute? [01:10:07] Speaker D: I got scars. [01:10:08] Speaker C: Let's go, let's go. [01:10:11] Speaker B: 5, 10, 6. Dig the scars. [01:10:16] Speaker C: Here. [01:10:17] Speaker B: All right. Okay. Well, which of the. I mean, you know what? That is a good point, though. Bong game does look like a huge problem right now. [01:10:25] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:10:26] Speaker B: So he's in range. She'll. She'll go ahead and put a fourth level guiding bolt down on. [01:10:36] Speaker C: Yeah, I wrote that in the notes. [01:10:39] Speaker B: What's your. What's your AC. [01:10:40] Speaker D: Wrong game. 18. Man, if I have my shield out. [01:10:46] Speaker B: She got a lot. She got like a 20 something. Okay. Oh, yeah. Okay. Fourth level guiding bolt is second level spell. [01:10:56] Speaker D: Guiding bolts of first level spell. [01:10:59] Speaker B: That's right. That's right. [01:11:01] Speaker D: So it's three extra. [01:11:02] Speaker B: So 7D6, and it starts at 4D6, right? Yeah. 76. 76 rating damage. [01:11:11] Speaker D: I could be remembering people with all the stuff that I know about D and D, but I. Instead, I know all the spells in. [01:11:16] Speaker B: D and D. I was. I was thinking about that today. I was like, man, the sheer amount of real estate in my brain taken up by d and d. 10, 20. 23 points of radiant damage, and there's now advantage on the next attack to hit you. [01:11:29] Speaker D: Oh, that's so. [01:11:30] Speaker B: I thought it was gonna be way worse. I was like, please, we're fine, we're fine, we're fine. [01:11:36] Speaker D: We're. We still got. We're still triple digits, baby. [01:11:41] Speaker B: Not at all rubbing it in your face, Micah. Okay, next. Don't give me the pouty lip, Micah. All right, if it makes you feel any better, it's the Unceasing Massacre's turn. That makes. No, it is going to yeah. Unceasing. [01:12:01] Speaker D: Is it seeing me as like a beacon? [01:12:04] Speaker A: I thought he just went. [01:12:06] Speaker B: That was like. No, no, that was the. That was the high priest also. Daniel. Doesn't matter if it doesn't matter. If it does see you as the beacon, it's still got to go through everybody else first. This thing can only crawl. That's the only thing it can do. [01:12:23] Speaker C: Is there, like, fire still around us? Just out of cur. [01:12:27] Speaker B: Oh. Oh, my goodness. [01:12:29] Speaker C: Thank you. No, no, never mind. [01:12:32] Speaker B: The Unceasing massacre is in lava. [01:12:34] Speaker C: Oh, he's in lava. Oh, then you're welcome. Why is. [01:12:39] Speaker D: You're freaking welcome, man. [01:12:42] Speaker B: Direct contact. So stupid. Yeah, it has no. It literally doesn't possess a brain. Oh, I rolled a lot of dam damage. [01:12:52] Speaker D: Whoa. [01:12:53] Speaker B: That's almost max. So from where it is in the lava, the incredible heat is just actually, the front of the UNC massacre is on fire. As the remaining carbon in the bones are being burned. And there's this horrible black smoke that smells atrocious. As the cracking bones are being burnt and ash is pulling off, off of it. It takes 25 points of fire damage from that tiny little string. [01:13:20] Speaker C: Good, I'm glad. [01:13:25] Speaker B: And as it is charred and blackened and slashed from all the damage, it's starting to look pretty significantly wounded and damaged. Not quite cracked, but pretty damaged. Okay, that was a nice little starter. Now it's the NCC massacre. What can you do? It's still got attacks right in front of it because it could. It could do crippling gaze. It has bone splinter. You know, sometimes you gotta do something just because it's what's fun, you know, sometimes like this thing doesn't have a brain. It could do the slam attacks. It could do the bone splinters. Both are an option. It'll do the bone splinter because I. [01:14:18] Speaker D: Haven'T done that yet. [01:14:19] Speaker B: And that's interesting. So the. The Unceasing massacre expands itself, rising again. And from where it is all actually first it's gonna move. No, five, ten feet forward. So Craig and the other Kuo Toa just get pushed. Pushed with it because you can't stop it. Craig, I need a Dex save from you. I'm going to make a dex save for the Kuo Toa. It's not a high DC, it's dex save 10. You're just trying to not get pierced by this thing as it crawls forward. [01:14:49] Speaker A: Do I still have Godspeed or. [01:14:51] Speaker B: No, you have Godspeed. No, your. Your wings are up. Okay, cool. No, no. This is the same day you fell out of the sky, you do not have Godspeed. What's the magical effect I have up on you? That's your aura. That's your aura. That's your aura. Okay, the. The carcinized is fine. It doesn't take any piercing damage as. As it steps quickly back from the massacre. And you know what? Actually, it'll just move another 10. Nobody can stop it. [01:15:18] Speaker D: Yeah. Come closer. [01:15:22] Speaker E: Oh. [01:15:25] Speaker B: And the other Carsonized. [01:15:27] Speaker D: Oh, no. Micah, What'd you get, baby? [01:15:30] Speaker B: What'd you get? [01:15:34] Speaker E: Oh, my God. [01:15:36] Speaker C: Can I give Micah my per diem? [01:15:39] Speaker B: No, not how that works. But Mike has hers. She shouldn't use it here. [01:15:42] Speaker A: I used it already. [01:15:46] Speaker C: Oh, already. [01:15:46] Speaker B: Okay, Micah, brace yourself. You're going to take two points of piercing. [01:15:55] Speaker E: I'm sorry for laughing like that. Sorry for laughing. [01:16:00] Speaker D: You see, Craig just fall to the ground. [01:16:04] Speaker B: Well, don't forget about your. Well, that was its movement. [01:16:09] Speaker E: Oh. [01:16:09] Speaker B: Now. Now, as it moves forward very much over the middle of that lava stream, it raises itself up, and then from its mass, it launches this wave of bone fragments out in every direction, flying outward. I need a Dex saving throw from literally everyone. Everyone is within 50ft of this thing now. I need to make a bunch. Failure, failure, failure. [01:16:47] Speaker A: I got a 16. [01:16:48] Speaker D: No. [01:16:49] Speaker B: Okay, on the upside, like, all the Kuo Toa failed. Yeah, you got a 16, Craig. Yeah. Okay, literally all the Kuo Toa failed, so that works in your favor. [01:17:03] Speaker E: Hello. Got a 23. [01:17:05] Speaker B: 23 from hello. [01:17:08] Speaker E: And Greta got a. [01:17:13] Speaker B: Tello. And row and Boz are all still prone, right? [01:17:19] Speaker A: Yes. [01:17:20] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:17:20] Speaker B: Is that a disadvantage on deck saves? Yes. [01:17:23] Speaker E: Okay, well, then let me roll again. Greta got. [01:17:26] Speaker D: I got a nine. [01:17:29] Speaker B: Excellent. Sorry. [01:17:30] Speaker D: Run him. [01:17:33] Speaker C: Oh, I rolled so good. And then I forgot about the disadvantage. Advantage, and I rolled so bad. [01:17:38] Speaker E: Damn. Telos still gets a 23. I got a 15. [01:17:43] Speaker B: Awesome. That's amazing. That's amazing. What'd you get? Ro. [01:17:49] Speaker C: Got a 8. I have ro. [01:17:53] Speaker B: Your last four rolls have been 7, 9, 9, 8. [01:17:57] Speaker E: I have a question. [01:17:58] Speaker C: I'm looking at Boz's sheep here. For his. For his. Because he's proficient. Like, that's one of his saving throws. That's proficient is decks. And as a druid. Yeah, he has decks. Intelligence and Wisdom are his saving throws that he's proficient in. [01:18:20] Speaker B: So he's proficient in two, not three. [01:18:23] Speaker C: It says there's three on the sheet. You gave saving throws decks? Intelligence, Wisdom, girl. [01:18:29] Speaker B: That's just because I gave you the stat. That doesn't mean he's proficient. [01:18:34] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I'm sorry. [01:18:36] Speaker B: No, it's all good. It's all good. [01:18:37] Speaker D: It should be enough. [01:18:38] Speaker B: I wrote it down because. Yeah, it's intelligence of wisdom. I wrote it down because it's. It's notable because of his modifier is why I put it down. [01:18:50] Speaker C: Understood. Okay, because. [01:18:52] Speaker B: So he has a plus five. He has a plus one. [01:18:54] Speaker C: Okay, so he has a. He's not proficient. Okay, so we do just add a five, which is going to be a nine. [01:19:02] Speaker B: Spaghetti. Okay, so that's everybody. Greta succeeds and Tello succeeds. So you guys both take half. Everyone else fails. So bear. [01:19:20] Speaker C: 4, 8. [01:19:24] Speaker B: Need one more. Okay. 4, 8, 12. Okay. As Razor sharp bone fragments explode around you, everyone takes 12d6 piercing damage. Greta and Tello will take half. [01:19:48] Speaker C: Okay, can I use a reaction to this since I. Okay. And can boss as well? [01:19:55] Speaker B: Yes. [01:19:56] Speaker C: No boss. [01:20:00] Speaker B: Okay, so Tello's unconscious. [01:20:03] Speaker E: Yes. So does he take. He does not take negative damage. [01:20:06] Speaker B: Okay. No, he's just knocked unconscious. [01:20:10] Speaker D: This isn't 3.5 anymore, so it actually used to do that, so it's pretty fun. [01:20:16] Speaker A: Okay, wait, can I use my reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack roll, or is that too late? [01:20:24] Speaker B: This is not an attack roll. It's an area of effect. [01:20:27] Speaker D: Exactly. [01:20:27] Speaker A: Okay. [01:20:28] Speaker B: Yeah, but that's okay. I mean. Hey, Micah, play the cards. Way to be thinking. 10, 20, 30, 40. A clean, even 50 points of piercing damage for everyone. [01:20:48] Speaker A: You said 50? [01:20:50] Speaker B: 50. Craig is down, I assume. [01:20:56] Speaker A: Yes, but I can also use my reaction to absorb 3D12 of the damage and store it. [01:21:03] Speaker B: If you want to, Micah, you can. It is mathematically possible. No, it's not. It'll knock you unconscious no matter what. Because the max of 3d12 is 48, so. No, 36. I never learned math. So you can use it if you want. If you. Actually, you know what, Micah? If you want to just have it stored in the shield, you can. It'll still go unconscious, but you can have it stored in the shield. [01:21:29] Speaker A: Okay, I think I'm going to do that. [01:21:32] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. Okay. Go ahead and roll 3d12, and then mark down that. That another charge from your shield has been used and that that is stored. Okay, so Craig falls unconscious as the bone splinters fly into him, and he's covered in cuts and bleeding, Tello falls unconscious. Now I need to do math for my own guys. Holy cow. [01:21:49] Speaker C: Yeah, I have a question about. Never mind. I don't. There's. There's nothing that I'm. I'm just checking all of Boz's reactions. I don't think he has anything that mathematically could. [01:22:03] Speaker B: Nope. [01:22:03] Speaker D: Nope. [01:22:04] Speaker C: Okay, so boss is down. [01:22:05] Speaker B: You can deal damage, but. Oh yeah, dirt bad. [01:22:11] Speaker C: Yeah. And Ro used her and Rose her harmonic reconstruction. That's a good time for that reaction. And so I'm gonna make a deck that has. Has a DC16 and that's a NAT20. [01:22:34] Speaker B: Nice. [01:22:36] Speaker C: Okay, so I succeeded on the check. So that means I reduce the amount of damage that I receive by my bard level plus spell casting modifier, which is just charisma. Do I add anything to that particular one in that it's just your charisma modifier, right? [01:23:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Yes. [01:23:01] Speaker C: Okay, so. [01:23:06] Speaker B: Okay, While you're working out the math and narrating, as the bone fragments fly outward and slice everyone and cut them, Greta is badly wounded atop her broom. One of the bone fragments flying into her shoulders. She spins for a moment in the air. Rondyn is peppered and has to shield himself. Craig is knocked unconscious. Tella was knocked unconscious. Boz is knocked unconscious. As all of them, like a shotgun spray of shrapnel, all of them fall to the ground. This Kuo toa carcinized is awful. This Kuo Toa carsonized is awful. The high priest is badly wounded, and the exalted looks bloody. [01:23:55] Speaker C: Okay, I have a question for you. I have an answer of how, of the wording of this. You reduce the amount of damage, damage that you receive with this and reform this magic and healing. You then either choose to receive this reduced damage of ceiling for yourself, or you may divide it. So does it reduce the damage? [01:24:16] Speaker B: And then you reduce the damage no matter what. And then you choose whether or not you get the healing or you can give it to friends. [01:24:22] Speaker C: So. [01:24:24] Speaker B: So this damage, no matter what you give it to. [01:24:29] Speaker C: So if I, if I were to give it to myself, so that reduces the damage to 30. But so then I. If I gave those 20 points of healing to myself, and then you'd have. [01:24:45] Speaker B: That healing as hypnosis. [01:24:47] Speaker C: Okay, but my question is here is because if. I'm so sorry, this math is really confusing me because. Okay, so I. 30 points to me, I'm at 16 hit points. So that puts me at 14 hit points. But then do I get that 20 points of healing? [01:25:08] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:25:09] Speaker C: Back. So that makes me at six hit points, correct? [01:25:15] Speaker B: Yes. [01:25:16] Speaker D: Yes. [01:25:17] Speaker C: So I am still up. [01:25:18] Speaker B: And can you generally save your own life? So as the, as the bone fragments fly down across her, as she's falling to the ground, she like plays this like, desperate, like, and as it like fly. Actually, it's more like like three sonorous notes. She hits the Ground. There's this wave of purple magic that moves around her. And there's this tiny little flourish of clovers underneath her, which grow for a moment before dying. This wave of golden magic. And she just. On the ground at death's door. You get the feeling the Kuo Toa are really having their opinion changed of their priority here. Okay, Craig, it's your turn in initiative. So I need you to go ahead and roll me a death saving throw. [01:26:07] Speaker A: I've never done that before. How do I do that? [01:26:10] Speaker B: You're going to roll a D20. If it's 10 or higher, it succeeds. If it's not 9 or lower, it fails. [01:26:18] Speaker E: How many times do I get the chance? Three times. [01:26:22] Speaker B: Yep. Saves box the 19. [01:26:29] Speaker A: I'm good. [01:26:31] Speaker D: Okay. One away from getting all the way back up. Hell yeah. [01:26:36] Speaker A: Wait. Hey, wait a second. Hey. [01:26:44] Speaker E: Wait. [01:26:45] Speaker A: That's a roll to hit. Never mind. Gosh. That's. Okay. [01:26:48] Speaker B: Excellent. So we're gonna move to. Now it's Tello's turn. Tello needs to roll me a Death save. Okay. [01:26:57] Speaker E: 5. [01:26:59] Speaker B: Oh no. Has failed one death save. Fragment of bone works its way a little deeper into his flesh where it pierced him. Okay, we go back up to the top of Initiative. There are. I can take them out of Initiative because they're gone. It is the carcinized turn. [01:27:21] Speaker C: What? [01:27:22] Speaker B: The one they started. The ore bearer is down and will die. They're messing with. And their mission is completed. And his allies are being felled too. They have a new priority. They're going to turn around to the unceasing massacre because this isn't going well. And they still want to protect the exalted. So they are going to take some a takes. This combat's wild. Okay. Wow, that was an awful roll. Oh, I Forgot this thing's AC is like minus 12. Yeah, they stole it. I mean, it's a giant pile of bones. I'm just crit fishing at this point. I rolled a four and I still hit. [01:28:07] Speaker D: So. [01:28:11] Speaker B: That is going to be a considerable amount of damage. Okay. Oh, and then. And then plus two damage because of Rage of the Faithful. Okay, so we have have 10. [01:28:21] Speaker D: Good roll. [01:28:22] Speaker B: Eight. Pretty average. So that's 18. Eight is 26. Plus two is 28 points of damage. And these are technically magical attacks, which is good. It's really freaking good. Okay, three. So 1 Kuo Toa carcin ice turns. [01:28:46] Speaker D: Around and. [01:28:48] Speaker B: Begins ripping at the the massacre with its pinchers ripping out bones. And it does reduce its mass. Doesn't look like terribly significantly. The next one's gonna do the same hits. [01:28:59] Speaker D: Hits. [01:29:00] Speaker B: Okay. Same business. So ultimately it's 10. 10 plus. Oh, that was terrible. 23 total. That was awful. Okay, that's their turn. There's nothing else they can do. [01:29:17] Speaker D: What are you doing? [01:29:18] Speaker C: Oh, thank God. Okay, so I'm gonna. Cat Roe is at death's door and she's gonna. Is everyone of my allies and enemies within 60ft of me. [01:29:32] Speaker B: Everyone. [01:29:33] Speaker C: Everyone is beautiful. So I'm gonna. She's gonna cast Cry, the old slide song. And so good thinking, everyone. Every one of my allies I rolled so gets three D8 temporary hit points and I two of those I rolled max. [01:29:54] Speaker D: So sick. [01:29:57] Speaker C: That's 20 points of temporary hit points to every single one of my allies. [01:30:01] Speaker B: So contemporary hit points bring someone from unconsciousness. [01:30:11] Speaker D: I think that's a DM role, but I don't know for sure because it's not real hit points. I'm sure there's some rule around them, but I do not know it. [01:30:19] Speaker C: They're fake hit points. [01:30:22] Speaker D: They technically are. [01:30:27] Speaker A: How many? How many? [01:30:31] Speaker B: But hold on, let's see. [01:30:35] Speaker C: You are also. While he's doing that, just so everyone knows, everyone is also just. The allies obviously are immune to being frightened or charmed. And you're resistant to psychic damage for the next hour. [01:30:48] Speaker E: Oh, nice. [01:30:52] Speaker C: And I have it. You wouldn't know what temporary hit points. [01:30:55] Speaker B: Is on, would you? [01:30:57] Speaker D: No idea. Yeah, I'm going to look it up on the Google. [01:31:00] Speaker B: Oh, oh, hold on. [01:31:02] Speaker D: My wife's call me. [01:31:05] Speaker B: Also looked it up on the Google. Oh, oh, I found it. I found it. Okay. Some spells and abilities. But for target temporary hit points pulls from the pool because temporary hit points are separate from the. Holy cow. That was hard to focus. They can exceed your point maximum healing. Can't. Healing can't res to pre hit points. And they can't be out of the together if. If you have zero hit points. Okay, okay, here's the. Okay. Page 198 of the player's Handbook. This is fun. I've never had to read this before. If you have 0 hit points, receiving temporary hit points doesn't restore you to consciousness or stabilize you. They can still absorb damage directed at you while you're in that state. But only true healing can save you. Unless a feature that grants you temporary hit points has a direct duration. They last until depleted or until you finish a long rest. So I'm gonna mute myself really quickly while someone says something. Okay. [01:32:00] Speaker C: How much. How many healing points did I say that y' all got? [01:32:07] Speaker E: 20. [01:32:08] Speaker C: Oh, 20. [01:32:08] Speaker E: Okay. That's temporary. [01:32:11] Speaker C: Yes. 20 temporary hit points so it can absorb any more damage gone to your body. Is that what that means? [01:32:19] Speaker B: So the point is. Yes, yes, yes. Sorry, Hopper was getting some ice point that the. So it can't bring you up from unconsciousness. But now boss, Tello and Craig all have a 20 point buffer of damage that they will not take from a source. So everybody else gets the 20 added on as a buffer. They while remaining unconscious, get 20 additional hit points protecting them. Okay. [01:32:43] Speaker A: Okay. [01:32:44] Speaker C: So on top. Oh, go ahead. [01:32:48] Speaker E: If they do get back up, does that 20 hit points come with them? [01:32:53] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, it doesn't. Unless it doesn't. It doesn't go away unless it's stated. It goes away. So it's still there. [01:33:00] Speaker C: And so my other thing that. Yes, that cry the old song does is all enemies within 60ft need to make a wisdom saving throw. [01:33:11] Speaker D: Okay. [01:33:14] Speaker B: Okay, Just going to save from the carcinized fails. Carcinized fails. Okay, here's the really cool thing, Ro. So the Exalted and the High Priest are both up the cliff. So if this was like a, like a 60 foot fireball or something, you couldn't reach them, they'd be protected. But it's literally sound. So because they are still within range of the spell, it can go up around the object and hit them, which is amazing. [01:33:43] Speaker C: So. And what about the. The bone? [01:33:46] Speaker B: The High priest succeeds. [01:33:50] Speaker C: Okay, so she's going to take half. [01:33:52] Speaker D: Half. [01:33:53] Speaker B: And the Exalted. Oh, this is straight. Roll, roll fails. Exalted takes full. The bone guy is not unceasing. Massacre is in no way wise. So it's gonna go ahead and use one of its three legendary resistance it has not used so far. [01:34:13] Speaker C: Okay, do you want me to tell you the damage? I already rolled the damage. [01:34:17] Speaker B: Yes, I would like to know. [01:34:18] Speaker C: Okay. 36 points of psychic damage. [01:34:21] Speaker B: That's a lot. That's a lot. That was a really meaningful turn you just took, Row. [01:34:32] Speaker C: Oh, I'm not done. I'm not done. I have a bonus action. [01:34:34] Speaker B: Well, I. But I said 36. [01:34:41] Speaker C: Yes. [01:34:42] Speaker D: Okay. [01:34:43] Speaker C: Can I use my bonus action yet or no? [01:34:47] Speaker B: Yes, go ahead. Go ahead and just. Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead and tell me what it is and then, then we'll get to the describing part. [01:34:52] Speaker C: Okay. Cuz my bonus action was going to be that I drink a greater healing potion. [01:34:59] Speaker B: That's not a bad idea. Okay, it's not a bad idea. Also, Rogue, could you make a strategy check for me really quickly? Yeah, go ahead and drink the potion. But then, okay, let me know what Your check is this combat's wild. [01:35:15] Speaker C: It really is. [01:35:18] Speaker B: Okay, pause next, then wrong. [01:35:23] Speaker C: Oh, that's right, because the kua tore. Okay, I got back 18 points of healing damage or healing healing damage. [01:35:34] Speaker B: I take 18 points of healing damage. [01:35:37] Speaker C: So rose at a spry 24 hit points. And then you said, strategy check. Right. My little dice are in the way of my dice tower. Okay, that's gonna be not the best a 15. [01:35:56] Speaker B: Okay, that'll do. First of all, it occurs to you that you could use at least part of your movement to get up to no longer be prone. [01:36:03] Speaker C: Oh, I forgot I was prone. [01:36:05] Speaker B: Yeah, but the strategy check part of meaningful consequence. As you see all your wounded allies, all those you want to help lift up, you are aware of the importance of bringing them back to consciousness. You're also aware of the importance of your staying alive. And you're aware that if there are no healers left to heal, it doesn't really matter who's up or not. So that is a thing on your mind. Okay, now, Ro, could you go ahead and. Could you go ahead and. Yeah, yeah. [01:36:37] Speaker C: Oh, go ahead. I was gonna do my movement, but if. [01:36:39] Speaker B: Yeah, do it. [01:36:42] Speaker C: So I'm gonna use half to get unprone. So that means I have 15 left. Is there any baddies by me? No, nobody. [01:36:51] Speaker B: Everyone next to you is unconscious. [01:36:55] Speaker C: Who's directly to my right? [01:36:58] Speaker B: This is Tello. Or. Yeah, Tello. [01:37:00] Speaker C: Okay, so that's Tello. And then Boz is next to him. Okay. And then directly in front of me is Craig. [01:37:08] Speaker B: Craig. [01:37:10] Speaker C: Okay, I don't think I should get in the bone guy, but I can still probably not later. So I'm gonna go back like behind Tello and Boz to get ready to heal them on my next turn or do something. Yeah, okay, excellent. [01:37:28] Speaker B: In fact, actually I'm going to stick you right here. Okay, excellent. Could you go in and flavor what that cry of the old song looked like and take a hot second doing it because I'm about to piss in my pants. [01:37:39] Speaker C: Okay. So when Ro is at death's door at six healing points. Six. Six hit points before she can even heal herself, she thinks she's just really angry. And so she uses that cry of the old song kind of as a hulk out moment for her. And when she does it, she just strums just a couple of like, just a couple of chords on a song splitter. And it sounds really metal, but at the same time that it sounds really metal, you are also hear that old song like Reverberation come through and so it's like this harmonious but metal thing. And as she does that gold and purple magic just shoots out from her, like, out from the loot, out from her own body, out from her mouth as she cries out. And the golden gold all wraps around all of her allies to give them those temporary hit points. And the purple hits all of the enemies, like, right into their, like, head for that phenomenal time. The amount of urine that filled my. [01:38:54] Speaker B: Body in that time frame was wild. [01:38:56] Speaker C: And they gulps a bottle of healing potion and stands up and runs. [01:39:03] Speaker B: As the gold wards your ally, those purple bolts strike outward and slay both this carcinized and this carcinized who are removed from. [01:39:14] Speaker C: Oh, that's not good though, is it? [01:39:16] Speaker B: Yes, ironically, that actually works very much not in your favor at the moment. [01:39:21] Speaker C: You made this so difficult. You would need to kill them. But if you kill them, consequences, yes. [01:39:27] Speaker B: It's like I made an incredibly complicated combat with no easy choices. But you also. You can't see. But Greta can see from her vantage, just as her head just barely peeks over the cliff's edge, that the exalted is brought almost to death's door by the song. And the priest is bloodied. And you also see that with that last note, as the energy reverberates over the unceasing massacre, it fractures and sloughs many of its bones with which fall clattering down. And it looks like you've brought it to a cracked state. Cool. [01:40:02] Speaker C: Heck yeah. [01:40:03] Speaker B: Finally bloodied. Let's go, Boz. I need a death save. Greta's on deck. [01:40:11] Speaker C: I've never had to make another character's death save, and I don't like it. [01:40:15] Speaker B: Yeah, that sucks. Daniel, you're muted. This is the way. [01:40:20] Speaker C: It's a 10. [01:40:22] Speaker B: Daniel, you're still muted. This is the way Boz saves. Boss saves. [01:40:27] Speaker D: Oh, hello. Can you hear me now? [01:40:29] Speaker B: Nope. We're getting the echo back, and you're still muted. Hello? [01:40:32] Speaker D: What do you mean I'm. [01:40:33] Speaker B: There you go. [01:40:35] Speaker D: Okay. Can you hear me now? [01:40:36] Speaker B: I can hear you now. [01:40:38] Speaker D: Okay, I'm on deck, aren't I? [01:40:41] Speaker B: Yes, you're. Yes. Sorry. Yeah, it's you. Greta's up after. I apologize. [01:40:44] Speaker D: Cool. [01:40:47] Speaker B: It's you now, boss. [01:40:52] Speaker D: I. I look to. I'm. AM I within 35ft of the big bone bad boy? [01:40:57] Speaker B: You are. You are. [01:40:58] Speaker D: All right, cool. I'm going to look to the rest of the group, and I say in a very stoic and not even like, you know, like how the Hulk says it, you know, like, I'm always angry, you know, at that point, in the same breath, Ranger looks at you, at you all and says, I am your shield. And he's just gonna walk calmly to the bones, and he's gonna pull out the sword once more, and he's gonna recklessly attack the Big Bone Boy. There's no way this gang's not gonna hit me anyway. [01:41:29] Speaker B: Yep. [01:41:30] Speaker D: So let's see. We can Krish fit as well. Fish as well. Okay, so my first one. [01:41:37] Speaker B: Night Krishna, not crit fish. I liked Krish fit. [01:41:43] Speaker D: Krish fit. I got a 31 with my first one. [01:41:47] Speaker B: That'll do it. [01:41:48] Speaker D: I got a 30 on my second one in my last attack is. Oh, you. You stink. You know, really close. I got a third. [01:41:59] Speaker B: Daniel muttering his dice like an old man. [01:42:01] Speaker D: 33 on my last one. A bummer, dude. I know. So close. 33. [01:42:09] Speaker B: The 31 and the 33 will hit, but the 30 will just barely pass the AC of 11. [01:42:15] Speaker D: Okay, cool, cool, cool. Yeah, here's. Here's my question, Zach. Do I need. I have cold damage on the moment, and I have magicy damage. Do I need to separate any of this damage? [01:42:29] Speaker B: I would like you to separate. Actually, hold on. Before you do that. Before you do that. Before you do that. Have you used your reaction this term? Rung? [01:42:39] Speaker D: I have not. [01:42:41] Speaker B: Okay, give me an arcana check. I know this isn't your strength. The bones are resistant to cold damage. That's an undead. It's an incredibly undead thing. Give me an arcana check. [01:42:52] Speaker D: Undead resistant, cold damage. I got an arcana check of 11. [01:42:59] Speaker B: Okay, never mind. Go ahead and roll that damage. [01:43:03] Speaker D: Okay. [01:43:07] Speaker B: What you doing there? Grabs. Grabby is jamming with stress, so I do need. [01:43:12] Speaker D: I guess this one is going to be mine. [01:43:15] Speaker B: I don't think I've seen a person stress dance before, but Abby's doing it. [01:43:18] Speaker E: Is my mic on? The light's not. It's on now. [01:43:22] Speaker B: Is this thing on? That's not my coal damage. This is my cold damage. Yeah, that's not my super dude. [01:43:36] Speaker D: Thank God. Okay. [01:43:39] Speaker B: Sorry, Micah. Oh, my gosh. You're gonna make it. Say it. Say, I'm the Big Mike. I'm the Big Mike. Mic. [01:43:48] Speaker A: You're the big. You're the. Dang it. [01:43:55] Speaker B: Micah, take inspiration. That was phenomenal. Say I'm the Big Mike. You're the Big Mike. [01:44:01] Speaker D: I got. I got 64 non cold damage. I got 64 magical slash damage. Yes. And now I have to roll. Well, my cold damage was just going to be freaking stupid. I know. [01:44:17] Speaker B: I'm Sorry, buddy. That's a lot of damage. [01:44:32] Speaker D: 43 cold. Jeez, that's 21. [01:44:40] Speaker B: Yes. Rongrim. As you make two massive carving stabs of the trident and then another slash with the sword, you carve away swathes of the bones flying around you at every angle. Entire pieces of its structure. You literally walk into it to cut out more of it. The force of your slashing, throwing its pieces. Sorry, Micah. Micah, get a piece of cardboard. Get a piece of cardboard. Start tearing it up. But buddy, Vong, as you wound it severely, it. It looks heavily damaged. Very heavily damaged. Still looks like it's got a lot of itself left. [01:45:19] Speaker D: But you are definitely the cold. [01:45:22] Speaker B: Yes, Sorry. So sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Yes, as the. As the cold. Like with the Leviathans or the Krakens. Excuse me. Where you expect it. Where the cold grew up over them and burst out of them. Here the cold grows over some of the bone spaces and then just seems to sort of like. It's like there's a cold, vacuous, soulless energy inside of this thing that is less harmed by this disruptive crystals. It's like they just get absorbed into its ever shifting structure and broken up by its fragmented moving. It's a good thing. It might be good to change up. Not cool. Do you want to use your reaction to do that? [01:46:00] Speaker D: I mean, I can use my reaction through my. [01:46:04] Speaker B: Yeah, okay. Okay. You know what? Actually, I think you're right. I think that's smart. Save it for something else for now and then use it on your turn. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. That's wrong. At the end of wrong's turn. [01:46:19] Speaker D: I just hit it. [01:46:20] Speaker E: Dam. It's my turn. [01:46:23] Speaker B: Yeah, it's your turn. But we're gonna use some legendary actions first. [01:46:27] Speaker E: That's not good. Dm, Please cease. [01:46:33] Speaker D: Sorry. [01:46:33] Speaker B: That's not good. Please is a really funny thing to say. Okay, hold on. Give me a moment. It is going to use two legendary actions again to hit everyone with another round of miasmatic plague. Now here's the thing. The unconscious people do not need to make the rolls. That's good. Or would they Auto. We'll have them not make the rolls. So Greta and Ro and and Rodrigo all need to make me concep. [01:47:22] Speaker A: Conscious people still absorb. [01:47:28] Speaker B: Yes, conscious people absorb damage, but this is not damage. This is. This is the exhaustion effect. [01:47:35] Speaker C: My SO thing just went off and on. [01:47:39] Speaker B: What did we get from Row? Wrong. Grim and Greta. [01:47:44] Speaker C: Rogue or Go ahead. [01:47:49] Speaker E: Is my speed have on the broom. No, I have exhaustion. [01:47:55] Speaker B: No, that's such a good question. No, it's not. You can't be. Because it's not your legs. The brood, the broom cannot be impeded. [01:48:03] Speaker E: It's not. I am not going to be go for then. And I got a 14. [01:48:10] Speaker B: Okay. [01:48:12] Speaker C: Ro got a 17. [01:48:15] Speaker B: Okay. [01:48:16] Speaker D: Wrong. Got a 16. [01:48:21] Speaker B: Bronom and row. Just save. [01:48:25] Speaker D: Wow. [01:48:26] Speaker B: Do not gain additional point of exhaustion. Greta. You now have a second, I believe. Or a first. [01:48:30] Speaker E: Whichever one you go for, I have too. [01:48:33] Speaker B: So that that horrible wave of energy pulses across you. But as you. As you feel it sapping away your energy, you take a hard breath, Greta, and you grip yourself to hold on to your broom. Vong row. You steel yourselves and resist. Abby, remember, you can go to your player's handbook and look up what the additional levels of exhaustion do in the. [01:48:52] Speaker A: Back of the book. [01:48:55] Speaker B: Now it's Greta's turn. [01:48:58] Speaker C: Gr. [01:48:58] Speaker E: Gr. GR is so freaked out. She sees her. Her dearest loved ones go down and just tears start streaming out of her face. Hold on, I'm going to Google. [01:49:12] Speaker C: No. Oh, my God. [01:49:18] Speaker A: Kind of sound a little muffly. [01:49:20] Speaker E: What am I muffling? [01:49:22] Speaker C: Yeah. Is your mic working? [01:49:25] Speaker B: Hello? [01:49:27] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, it's working. [01:49:29] Speaker E: I think it was just my voice going to. [01:49:36] Speaker B: Sorry. [01:49:40] Speaker E: Is divine interaction. It's an action I would like to. No, I'm not gonna do that because it might. Nowhere I'm. She's tears are streaming down from her face. She's crying so much. She's sobbing and she's sobbing and she's sobbing and her tears flow off of her body and like, multiply and multiply and jet into the people that she loves as she cast mass cure wounds again at the seventh level this time. [01:50:11] Speaker B: That's a good call. That's a good. [01:50:13] Speaker C: Heck yeah. [01:50:14] Speaker E: I'm going to roll. Is it 5D8? Is that correct? [01:50:22] Speaker B: Well, what. It's a third level spell or fifth level spell. Excuse me? Yeah, and it's 3DA at fifth level. [01:50:30] Speaker E: Yeah. Yes, I'm pretty confident. [01:50:36] Speaker B: No, no. Then you're. Then you're correct. Guys, I. They've got quit. They've quit printing 2014 players handbooks. I think I already told you. [01:50:46] Speaker C: You told us that. [01:50:47] Speaker B: So if we find. I went and bought one. I went and bought one off of ebay and I took my old one with all of my memories and I put it on my shelf to be preserved for memories. And I'm using a new one now. And it feels so good to have a crisp 2014 players. Really like. It feels good. I mean, this thing got used a little bit, but not A lot. [01:51:07] Speaker E: Everyone takes 33 points of healing. [01:51:12] Speaker B: Whoa. [01:51:13] Speaker C: Did you say three? [01:51:15] Speaker E: 33. And for the people. [01:51:17] Speaker B: And with that, had. [01:51:21] Speaker E: Oh, wait, I'm so sorry. [01:51:22] Speaker B: The temporary hit points are still there. [01:51:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:51:25] Speaker E: Was I. I'm. I'm so sorry. I should have clarified this. I moved before I cast that. I moved so that I was in range of all of my allies. [01:51:33] Speaker B: Gribbles. No, you are already in range. [01:51:35] Speaker E: Okay. [01:51:37] Speaker B: No, no, you had to move to here. But. Okay, well, understood. You did it. [01:51:41] Speaker E: Thank you for. Thank you for that, Grace. I appreciate that. [01:51:44] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:51:45] Speaker B: Do you want to move back out now that they're up? [01:51:49] Speaker E: Yes, I would like to, actually. Can I head right? Do you see that point? That's kind of like at a diagonal to me? No, other way. [01:51:57] Speaker B: Sure. [01:51:58] Speaker E: Yes, right there. [01:51:59] Speaker B: Okay, so you went five, ten, and you'd go. Yeah, you have enough of that. [01:52:07] Speaker E: How much do I have? [01:52:08] Speaker B: Wait, no, no, that's okay. You can get there now. You have 10 left. [01:52:14] Speaker E: I'm going to go back 10 more. [01:52:16] Speaker B: Okay. Honestly, Abby, probably pretty good strategy at this point. That broom was a good pick, huh? [01:52:22] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:52:24] Speaker B: Yeah. Really glad we didn't just stick a knife to the front of it. Okay, with that, Tello, Boz, and Craig are all brought up from unconsciousness. [01:52:37] Speaker C: So they all have 33 hit points. [01:52:39] Speaker B: And 20 hit points. Yeah. 53 function. [01:52:47] Speaker E: And once. [01:52:49] Speaker A: Go. [01:52:50] Speaker C: High five. High five, guys. [01:52:54] Speaker B: That was. That was killer. That was a seriously skilled turn of combat. I. I want to point out how smart the decisions you made were, how lucky your roles were, and how much everyone played their characters effectively. That was. That was some smooth work. That was. That was absolutely a tpkable situation. Instead, you all handled it very well. It's not over. We're not out of the woods. That was incredibly well handled. It's now the Kuo at Exaltant's turn. [01:53:27] Speaker E: What do you have, Michael? [01:53:29] Speaker C: What do you have? [01:53:31] Speaker B: And what is that? [01:53:32] Speaker C: What is that? Candy? Oh, those are Mike and Ikes. [01:53:37] Speaker D: Sorry. [01:53:37] Speaker B: Oh, I feel so bad to do this in the middle of Micah celebrating. She's going to proceed to do something. Mondo stinkers. Because the orb holder has been resurrected. She's here for. [01:53:56] Speaker C: Who is the orb holder? [01:53:58] Speaker B: Who, Craig. [01:53:59] Speaker E: Who holds the orb? [01:54:01] Speaker C: Oh, that orb. [01:54:04] Speaker B: Jackie goes. What campaign are you talking about? [01:54:08] Speaker E: It takes it, Zach. Is it an action, a bonus action, or free action to throw the orb? [01:54:13] Speaker C: So dumb. [01:54:14] Speaker B: You can use that as part of your movement. She's gonna move to the cliff's edge. Trying to accept a fate here. This is gonna get Ugly. And she is going to use her seventh level spell, and she is going to use some of her last Some of her last sorcery points. She technically has four more. But she's going to use some of her last sorcery points to use heightened spell and give Craig disadvantage. And as she walks to the cliff's edge, the storm above her seems to roil in her favor. And you swear you all see the vague shadow of some immense deific creature in the clouds, as if it's casting magic over her. And she's going to roll outward, and it's like the fire is going to fly out from her and from the clouds, Columns of fire roar downward. And she's gonna put one right here in between. Actually, she's gonna stick it right here, right in between Rongrim and Craig. She's gonna put one on top of the unc massacre. How many of these can I have? [01:55:26] Speaker C: And what is this that she's putting there? Did you say already? [01:55:29] Speaker B: Firestorm girl? [01:55:34] Speaker C: Stop it. Get some help. [01:55:36] Speaker D: Yep. [01:55:37] Speaker B: So she's going to put one right here, One right here, one right here, and one on gry. She's going to hit every. So I de Save from everybody. [01:55:48] Speaker C: No. [01:55:49] Speaker B: Anyone? [01:55:50] Speaker E: Do you want to come tell us? No, you don't. [01:55:52] Speaker B: Everyone. [01:55:53] Speaker E: Everyone. [01:55:54] Speaker B: Everyone. [01:56:02] Speaker C: Saving throw. [01:56:03] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. Oh, the unceasing massacre rolled a 15. I was like, whoa. And then it has a negative. Could have got a 15. [01:56:13] Speaker D: Okay. [01:56:14] Speaker B: Honestly. My God, this is disadvantage. You're freaking good. [01:56:17] Speaker A: Oh, disadvantage. Gosh dang it. [01:56:19] Speaker B: Oh, row. [01:56:23] Speaker C: Roll. [01:56:24] Speaker B: No, no. [01:56:25] Speaker D: Nickel. [01:56:25] Speaker E: No, wait. [01:56:26] Speaker C: But I thought on saving throws, you didn't have to roll. Advantage, disadvantage. [01:56:30] Speaker B: She gave him disadvantage with her feature. [01:56:34] Speaker D: Oh, my good. [01:56:35] Speaker B: No, that's worse. [01:56:37] Speaker E: Oh, no. [01:56:38] Speaker C: Okay, Ro Roll got a 17, but Boz rolled a nat 20, which puts him out of 25. [01:56:47] Speaker A: Let's go. [01:56:48] Speaker B: That's phenomenal. It's a good time for that. [01:56:57] Speaker E: Gonna Got a 13. Hello. Got a 10. [01:57:03] Speaker B: And then could somebody. Wrongrim has a plus. Oh, but I think Dex is one of his proficiencies. No strength and con, but he has advantage. Okay, could somebody roll a D20 at dis. advantage for me for what I'm doing? [01:57:21] Speaker E: I will do it. [01:57:22] Speaker B: And then add plus three. [01:57:26] Speaker E: I should not have done it. That's an eight. I'm so sorry. Add advantage at advantage. [01:57:33] Speaker B: Oh, that's what he gets for going and helping his wife. Selfish. [01:57:37] Speaker C: Selfish. [01:57:39] Speaker B: Okay, wrongdim fails. What's the DC Here? Yeah, wrongdim fails. Craig fails, Greta fails. Tello fails. Row and Boz succeed. The unceasing massacre fails, and this is gonna be 7D10 fire damage wrongden. Firestorm got cast on you and re rolled the save for you and you failed. Welcome back. [01:58:06] Speaker D: Oh, did you roll at advantage? [01:58:09] Speaker B: We did. [01:58:10] Speaker D: Yep. [01:58:10] Speaker B: Sorry. [01:58:10] Speaker C: And you got an 8 with advance. [01:58:13] Speaker D: Who the hell rolled for me? They ain't rolled me again. [01:58:15] Speaker E: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. [01:58:18] Speaker B: I was literally about to make a joke where I said, and we'll never know who rolled for you. And then you're like, who rolled? I want names. [01:58:26] Speaker D: Did who? How much HP did I get back in the mass cure wounds? Did I. [01:58:31] Speaker C: 33. 33. Yeah. [01:58:34] Speaker D: Oh. So I was up at a. A good 110. [01:58:38] Speaker C: And remember your 20 temp hit points. [01:58:41] Speaker D: Yeah. Firestorm is a fire spell, right? [01:58:45] Speaker B: Yes. You're resistant. [01:58:46] Speaker D: Hell yeah. [01:58:47] Speaker A: I would say many hit points would I have now being am I at zero hit points or like, where. How. [01:58:55] Speaker B: No, you get. You get all them back. You're. [01:58:58] Speaker C: Am I within 33? [01:59:00] Speaker B: Regular 20. [01:59:02] Speaker E: Oh, okay. [01:59:03] Speaker C: Am I within 5ft of tell? [01:59:06] Speaker B: You're 10ft away from tell. [01:59:08] Speaker C: Oh, never mind then. I can't do what I wanted to do. [01:59:11] Speaker B: That's going to be 32 points of fire damage to everyone. [01:59:19] Speaker C: 32. [01:59:20] Speaker B: 32. Half to roe and half two, boss. And then rung him as resistant. But the NCC massacre isn't and it failed. And as the fire comes down on it and chars more of its bone, it looks pretty heavily damaged. [01:59:36] Speaker D: Can I use my reaction here to. [01:59:39] Speaker B: I can. [01:59:40] Speaker D: Cool, cool. I'm gonna use my reaction. I'm guessing the only one. I don't have any healers that are close to me within 30ft. [01:59:49] Speaker B: Unless Craig's the. Craig's the closest. [01:59:52] Speaker D: Well, actually. [01:59:53] Speaker B: Hold on, hold on. 5, 10, 15. 20. 25. She's just in range of you. [01:59:58] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:59:59] Speaker B: Rose. [01:59:59] Speaker D: Okay. So, Ro, are you going down here or are you not going down? [02:00:04] Speaker C: I'm not going down. [02:00:06] Speaker B: Boss is in a much rougher state. [02:00:07] Speaker C: And he can't bosses. [02:00:08] Speaker D: Can I how many points it was? [02:00:11] Speaker B: You can go ahead and do it. [02:00:13] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Let's do boss. He's gonna reduce the damage by 19. And the person who did the damage is gonna take 19. [02:00:19] Speaker E: Nice. [02:00:20] Speaker B: Heck yeah. [02:00:22] Speaker C: Which means he took half, Right? So it means he gets. [02:00:28] Speaker B: He takes two. [02:00:29] Speaker C: He takes none. [02:00:31] Speaker B: He takes none. [02:00:33] Speaker C: Amazing. Thank you. [02:00:35] Speaker B: As the spirits wrap around Boz and like. Like the. The three. The three spirits that follow wrong. Women move around him when he's. When he's filled with his righteous rage. 1. I mean, they Aren't like, bright colors the way in their artwork. One that's like this thin, illusory orange. Another one that's just barely bluish. Another one that's green. These three different figures at vague heights, these silhouetted figures, they appear over Boz and they literally shield over him. They and the fire gouts off to the sides. Then immediately they appear up at the same side at the top of the cliff, around the sorceress and Vrongadam. How do you want to do this with your spirits on the Exalted? [02:01:16] Speaker D: I think in the same way, like that. They made a shield around Boz. It almost was like they. They gather all the flames that was around him, and it's like he's Daniel. They transport themselves over. They make another shield over them, and then they just rain down the fire onto the sorceress. So as the spirits all, like, come back to me, there's just a charred corpse where the sorceress was wronggrim. [02:01:46] Speaker B: What a sick decision. As they reappear, they the fire and they literally transport in the corpse next to you ruined on the ground. That was a really dope thing to choose to do. The exalt is now an initiative. Unfortunately, it's immediately the high priest's turn. You hear a worried scream from the high priest, and she's very desperate. She's at the end of her rope. So will she get to Craig? No. [02:02:25] Speaker D: Those spirits, they just. They just did that and they came back to me. [02:02:28] Speaker B: So, you know, she'll do the next best thing. She has the hit points for it. She's gonna run 10. She's gonna jump. Whoa. She'll take three. D6. Bludgeoning. She falls down the cliff. Geez. That was. I rolled a lot. She tumbles down the cliff, falls. One of her legs breaks, but she pulls herself up and she crawls across the sand and dives for you. Rhond Grim were you were making your attacks recklessly at the unceasing massacre? [02:03:06] Speaker D: I was. I was because I wanted to crit. [02:03:09] Speaker B: She is going to get use to cast heat harm on you. [02:03:15] Speaker E: Oh. [02:03:16] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That'll be. That'll be donkey run. [02:03:20] Speaker B: What's your AC18, baby. That's going to hit 26. I thought I had enough D6s out, but now I need to get out. 14 D6. [02:03:31] Speaker E: Wow. [02:03:32] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:03:34] Speaker B: I have four. Eight. 12. I need two more. Dude, you're gonna make me use all the d sixes in this bin. No. [02:03:45] Speaker D: I made you. I think you made you, Zach. No, no, no, no. This is about you. [02:03:51] Speaker B: I cast. [02:03:51] Speaker D: Okay. Are you victim blaming, sweetie? [02:03:55] Speaker B: Are you victim blaming Sweet. Okay. Wrong. Grim. As she wraps out and grabs you, her fish like scaled hands grab the sides of your face and she gets in your face and she hisses and all this dark energy seeps into you and contorts your flesh and you take 1022. [02:04:25] Speaker E: Oh. [02:04:29] Speaker B: This is so much math. 32. 42. 48 points of necrotic damage. [02:04:42] Speaker D: Okay. [02:04:43] Speaker B: And your hit points maximum is reduced by as much, correct? [02:04:46] Speaker D: By 48. I believe so. I think that's how this build works. [02:04:54] Speaker B: That was intense. [02:04:54] Speaker D: Fine. [02:04:55] Speaker B: Okay. [02:04:59] Speaker D: I'm still in double digits, baby. [02:05:02] Speaker B: Now it's the unceasing massacre's turn. [02:05:06] Speaker C: Oh my gosh. [02:05:10] Speaker B: It is going to. I think I can go ahead and close that tab. Yeah, I'm not gonna need that again. Just gonna go ahead. Let's be honest about where that's going. Okay. The Unceasing massacre is gonna start by taking fire damage. It's still standing in the fire. Idiot. Better. But that's fine. Okay. More of the church bone Ch. [02:05:42] Speaker D: Burns. [02:05:44] Speaker B: I can't talk right terms and burns charm top arms. [02:05:54] Speaker D: It just so the Unseason massacre knows it has disadvantage on everything. That's not me just saying that. [02:06:01] Speaker B: Oh, it does. [02:06:02] Speaker D: Yep. Because I'm a raging and I hit. [02:06:06] Speaker B: It fast and it's. Yeah, yeah. It's like the spirits are harrying it. Right? [02:06:11] Speaker D: Yes, yes. I actually it has advanced on me, baby. [02:06:18] Speaker B: Because I mean this thing doesn't have a brain. I mean it has no mind, it has no thoughts. If it were strategic, it would go for another bone splinter. But it is easily distracted by targets in front of it. And when it did the bone splinter last time, all targets were unconscious in front of it or dead. And there are. There is. It can once again sense life in its presence. So it will target those. So it's going to put. And I can use crippling gaze. That's unfortunate. So it is going to start by using crippling gaze because it can use that in conjunction with its melee attacks. And I didn't do that last time. And it's going to target Ro. It did not like the magic you cast on it last time. So now I need a charisma saving. Oh, you're good at those. I totally forgot. [02:07:11] Speaker C: I'll give you that one. Oh, that's a 28. [02:07:17] Speaker B: Excellent. You are immune to the effect. And I mean it doesn't have a face, but is as this pile of bones shifts like slightly. You feel this horrible angry. This. This Horrible, dead coldness reach into you. This. This empty lack of a heart and a mind touches you, and you feel this trembling terror, but you resist, and you are not stunned. [02:07:44] Speaker D: Wonderful. [02:07:45] Speaker B: Aided by a restoration spell. [02:07:47] Speaker D: Wow. [02:07:48] Speaker C: Wait, what? [02:07:49] Speaker B: Oh. If you had failed, you would have been stunned. Stunned You. If you. If you had failed, you would have been stunned until aided by your restoration spell, and now you're instead immune to the effect. [02:07:59] Speaker E: Oh, nice. [02:08:01] Speaker B: Now, it's going to take two slams for the next 24 hours. So it's going to put a slam attack down right here and a slam attack down right here, and that is. Yeah. So it's going to hit wrong and the high priest here, and it's going to hit Craig and Tello with the attack here. So my first attack. Wrong. [02:08:26] Speaker D: Grim. If it's not me, it's disadvantage. Yes. [02:08:29] Speaker B: Yes. Thank you. Okay, 27 to hit you. Okay, but disadvantage for the other one. [02:08:39] Speaker D: Dismantled everyone else. [02:08:41] Speaker B: I could have won better or I could have rolled worse, but I didn't roll good. I'm gonna get a six. Craig, what's your AC? [02:08:52] Speaker A: It's a 21. [02:08:54] Speaker B: I got a 19. Yeah, it doesn't hit me. What's Tello's AC? [02:09:05] Speaker E: 15. 15. [02:09:07] Speaker B: It's gonna hit. It's gonna hit Telo. So, Craig, you slam up your shield and your sword, cutting bone chunks away, and you literally split the bones away over you so they don't crush you. Instead, it does go over and slam down on the Tello. So these massive columns of bone crash down into Tello and another one onto wrongdem and the priest. It is going to do an unnecessary amount of damage. So on wrongdim. Oh, shoot. Wronggrim. And glad I didn't roll on that one. Well, I rolled a one on one, so I guess it actually averages out as pretty even. That's 22. That's 33. 34. 41. [02:09:49] Speaker E: Wrong. [02:09:49] Speaker B: Grimm, you and the priest take 41 points of damage, at which point the priest is summarily just flattened. Her limbs are broken and is askew on her body. Bones are sticking out from beneath her cloak. There's blood everywhere, and she's just dead. [02:10:06] Speaker D: Hell, yeah. [02:10:08] Speaker B: And then, Craig, you take none as you protect yourself with your shield and blade and pull into your armor. It even feels like there's a flash of, like, blue gold Magic over the ute. Protects you, but Tello is going to take. Wait, I'm. [02:10:23] Speaker E: Wait. I'm so sorry. I can't. [02:10:25] Speaker B: He got hit with an attack. Okay, she can. [02:10:29] Speaker E: I can. [02:10:31] Speaker B: Yes, I can. [02:10:32] Speaker E: And can he dodge an attack? [02:10:34] Speaker B: Man, that feature's stupid. [02:10:36] Speaker D: Yep. [02:10:37] Speaker B: Any attack he sees. Dur. [02:10:40] Speaker E: Do I see the massive bone in front of me? [02:10:42] Speaker B: I mean. Yeah, for sure. Durgle, is that correct? Oh, Daniel's fully frozen. Good thing he already went in. [02:10:48] Speaker E: Initiative keep, like, nervous laughing. This is so funny. [02:10:52] Speaker D: Yes, that is correct. [02:10:54] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:10:54] Speaker B: Okay. Excellent. [02:10:57] Speaker E: Reaction to have the damage. [02:11:02] Speaker B: That's good. You guys take 45 points of dam. He takes 45 points of damage. [02:11:07] Speaker E: That's half. [02:11:09] Speaker B: That's total. So he needs. He needs to half that now to 22. He's gonna take 22 points of. [02:11:19] Speaker A: Considered. Was that considered an attack? [02:11:22] Speaker B: Yes. [02:11:25] Speaker A: If I have that option where I can. [02:11:31] Speaker B: No, he needs to be right next to you. He needs to be within five feet of you. Also, the role was already at disadvantage. It was a 19. [02:11:40] Speaker A: Sorry. [02:11:40] Speaker D: No. [02:11:41] Speaker B: But, hey, hey, good thinking, Mike. Good thinking. But, hey, it's your turn in Initiative. Tello's on deck. Hey. [02:11:48] Speaker E: Hello. Is down. He had 21 hit points. [02:11:52] Speaker B: Unfortunate. So it's a shame because he's the one with the. With the crossbow with guiding bolt on it. So that's a bummer. [02:12:00] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:12:00] Speaker B: The damage type. This guy's vulnerable to you. [02:12:03] Speaker E: Still can't get away. Okay, okay. [02:12:05] Speaker B: The Initiative did not help you guys on this one. All right, Craig, what are you doing? [02:12:13] Speaker A: I would like to. [02:12:16] Speaker E: My bad. [02:12:17] Speaker B: No. [02:12:19] Speaker E: Okay. [02:12:19] Speaker B: Sorry. [02:12:20] Speaker A: I would love. [02:12:23] Speaker B: Okay. [02:12:25] Speaker A: I would love to do Potion of Supreme Healing, but I'm not sure if that's a bonus action. I think it's a bonus action. [02:12:30] Speaker C: It's a bonus action to drink. [02:12:33] Speaker A: Okay. And do you want to give me. No, it's. [02:12:39] Speaker B: Sorry. [02:12:39] Speaker D: You're item. [02:12:40] Speaker B: You make your choice. Sorry, I apologize. I would never. I don't want to interrupt a player. Go get him. [02:12:45] Speaker A: Potion of Supreme Healing. Can someone remind me if that does, how much healing that. [02:12:50] Speaker C: 10D4 plus 20. [02:12:52] Speaker B: Yeah, 10d4 plus 20. [02:12:54] Speaker C: I have it written down. [02:12:56] Speaker E: Gosh dang. [02:12:58] Speaker B: Yeah. It is an incredibly powerful item given to you by Alandra to be used in the darkest of hours. Oh. [02:13:04] Speaker A: Darkest of hours. [02:13:07] Speaker B: And you do know that this is on the way to Shista. [02:13:12] Speaker A: I. Yeah, no, I'm gonna change that up. I have another one. I'm just gonna do. Potion. [02:13:17] Speaker E: Healing. [02:13:17] Speaker C: Potion of greater Healing. If it's your greater healing, it's 44 plus, plus 8. [02:13:25] Speaker A: I do have that save. 44 plus 8. I'm gonna go with that one because you are so right. [02:13:31] Speaker B: That's a good idea. [02:13:33] Speaker E: Thank you for reminding me of that. [02:13:34] Speaker B: We haven't even gotten Die right now. [02:13:36] Speaker A: But I also don't want to die then. [02:13:38] Speaker B: So this is. [02:13:53] Speaker C: Okay. [02:13:54] Speaker A: 11 plus 8 is 19, so that's 19 healing. [02:13:58] Speaker B: Excellent. Oh, yeah. And then you still have your action, so you can still go sleep. [02:14:03] Speaker A: So. [02:14:03] Speaker B: Right. [02:14:03] Speaker C: Okay. [02:14:06] Speaker B: Also. And then row next. [02:14:11] Speaker A: Who's the orange? Remind me who the orange guy is. [02:14:15] Speaker B: Longer. [02:14:16] Speaker A: Okay, I'm gonna not attack him. I'm gonna attack the big giant blob that's right in front of me. The blob of bones. [02:14:24] Speaker B: He turns around. He turns around and goes. I lift more than you. Slash. [02:14:28] Speaker E: Slash. [02:14:30] Speaker A: Okay, so let me do the math. [02:14:32] Speaker B: He turns to wrong game and goes. There can only be one. Oh, my goodness. That would be. That would be a phenomenal closing on the lore of the Big Mike. That's you. How you become the Big Mic. Abby so stressed. She went. [02:14:49] Speaker E: People have nervous laughing at everything. [02:14:51] Speaker B: Yeah, I can tell. [02:14:54] Speaker A: 25 and 18 hit. [02:14:56] Speaker B: A 25 and an 18 will both hit. You all know it has an AC of 11. [02:15:01] Speaker A: Awesome. And I know for this guy, you have to do the damage. [02:15:09] Speaker B: Yes, yes. Radiant, separate. Radiant, separate. [02:15:12] Speaker C: Okay. [02:15:13] Speaker B: Yes. Your divine smite damage separately. One shall stand, one shall fall. Was that in the original animated special? Because they used it again in the movies. [02:15:25] Speaker D: I bet. [02:15:26] Speaker B: So Autobots rule out. [02:15:30] Speaker E: What are you speaking of, Optimus? [02:15:33] Speaker B: It's a Transformers reference. [02:15:35] Speaker E: I don't like Transformers. [02:15:37] Speaker D: You don't like Transformers? [02:15:39] Speaker B: Well, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Daniel's talking about classic animated Transformers, not Michael. [02:15:45] Speaker E: I just said that. I'm sorry, okay? [02:15:48] Speaker C: I just said that. [02:15:51] Speaker B: I mean, I. I personally think the Transformers movies are kind of awful, but I love the part where big robot punch big robot buff. That part's really good. [02:15:59] Speaker E: That's my least favorite part. I hated specific wind, you know? [02:16:03] Speaker B: All right, okay. [02:16:04] Speaker C: The very first one was like a cultural experience. The first Shia LaBeouf. Megan Fox one. You know. [02:16:16] Speaker B: Real life cannibal Sh. He's limping through the forest. Anyway, anyway, anyway, anyway, anyway. [02:16:25] Speaker D: Quiet. [02:16:25] Speaker B: We're getting really distracted. [02:16:29] Speaker D: Can that be. [02:16:30] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. What you call it is that if it's a copyrighted. Probably. Actually, yes. Yes. We have to stop. [02:16:36] Speaker C: But as long as it's less than 15 seconds, you're good. [02:16:39] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:16:40] Speaker B: Over break you some of the quotes from my. My students had some incredible quotes today. I need to. [02:16:46] Speaker E: Oh, I can't wait. [02:16:49] Speaker B: We're just buying Micah time as she. I was thinking about this the other day. Every single time we make her do this. It's not complicated math, but it's like we're making her finish all of third grade math live. Just like go ahead and complete third grade math. [02:17:04] Speaker E: Yeah. In front of people while you're fighting. [02:17:07] Speaker B: A bone being recorded. [02:17:11] Speaker D: Very different what you said. [02:17:14] Speaker A: So I know I got a 3. 3. I got the 3D4 thing from like fire from boss, but is that still applicable or is that concentration? [02:17:21] Speaker B: He's not within range of you now. [02:17:23] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:17:24] Speaker A: Okay, so that is modified to me right now. [02:17:26] Speaker B: Yeah, sorry. But wait a minute. [02:17:28] Speaker A: Okay, that's. [02:17:29] Speaker B: That's fine. [02:17:37] Speaker C: How many rounds of combat have we done? [02:17:39] Speaker B: We are in the third round of combat. [02:17:41] Speaker C: Okay. [02:17:42] Speaker E: Are you serious? Wait, this just. That's just this session. We had others the other session. [02:17:48] Speaker B: Nope, no third total. Yeah, well, and this is a really good example of. This is the third round of combat. In this combat. That's because you. There were like 11 participants, right? When you guys had the MI score, combat, you got to eight rounds of combat because there were. It was you guys. The bizarre is the best her, right? And. And so that controls the. The. The rate of things. It's who's involved, how quickly do they go, what does it take? How many things does it. [02:18:14] Speaker C: Trigger is the only enemy left now. The master. [02:18:18] Speaker B: The unseason master. Okay, Everybody else is dead. [02:18:21] Speaker D: Okay? [02:18:24] Speaker B: Mike is over there performing real magic. [02:18:27] Speaker C: I'm sorry, Mike. [02:18:29] Speaker B: She. She took an exhausted breath at the end of. Oh, she's still going. [02:18:37] Speaker D: Oh, my goodness. [02:18:38] Speaker B: Wait till she hears about calculators. [02:18:41] Speaker D: I think she's doing. [02:18:45] Speaker A: Okay. So. Okay, I got it. I got it. 65 points of radiant. And then 12 plus 5. 17 plus 2 is 19 plus 19 regular. Oh, that's 65. [02:19:06] Speaker D: That's 130. [02:19:09] Speaker A: No, 65 plus 19 is 84. [02:19:13] Speaker E: 65 plus 19. [02:19:14] Speaker B: It's 149. It's 149 damage, Craig. [02:19:18] Speaker C: Is that his new record? [02:19:20] Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He's undead, right? He's undead. To do 1D6, I need to do 2D6. Give me one second. Or did you already. Wait? [02:19:34] Speaker D: Good. [02:19:34] Speaker B: And rolling. [02:19:37] Speaker E: Okay. [02:19:38] Speaker A: Yeah. Six. That's a nine plus nine. [02:19:46] Speaker B: Okay. [02:19:47] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:19:48] Speaker B: Just radiant. So it gets doubled. [02:19:51] Speaker E: Cool. [02:19:51] Speaker D: 18. [02:19:54] Speaker B: Okay. What does it look like? As you deal? 157. 167. 167. Which means it's your new record. It beats your other one. Wow. [02:20:11] Speaker C: Let's go. [02:20:12] Speaker B: That's crazy. That's crazy. Oh, my goodness. Micah, describe what? 460, 67 damage for Craig. Looks like. [02:20:30] Speaker C: He's. [02:20:31] Speaker A: Is he like. He, like, gets up from being unconscious? You Know, as he was. [02:20:38] Speaker E: This is the first time he's been. [02:20:39] Speaker A: Able to, like, move, I guess. But he, like, gets up from being unconscious, and something like Lucky over opens his eyes. And I'm gonna say that with all of the deep magic, it is, like, going. [02:20:53] Speaker C: It's. [02:20:53] Speaker A: It's like coming over him level of. [02:20:57] Speaker B: Possession, but not really. [02:20:58] Speaker A: It's just, like. It's just consuming him. Now he's one with it. And I'm gonna say that when he wields his sword, the reflection of the. [02:21:07] Speaker E: Sword in his eyes burns almost. [02:21:09] Speaker A: Is, like, brighter than the actual, like, sword. [02:21:12] Speaker C: Oh. [02:21:12] Speaker E: Oh, that's cool. [02:21:14] Speaker A: And it just, like. [02:21:15] Speaker E: Almost like a lightsaber, you know? Just like. And you just. [02:21:20] Speaker B: Gotcha. [02:21:21] Speaker A: It's gonna go round big chunks. [02:21:25] Speaker B: Boss or Craig, as you. As you step forward, you pull up your blade with light, and you do this commanding word in deep speech. And as it rages out, you. And as you. As you slash forward with your blade, the blue gold light that comes off the top at the end, it's like your blade expands and lengthens. And it's not the sword growing longer, but it's the radiant energy off of it. And as you slash forward it and you simply bisect the unceasing massacre, just. And a whole pile of. Half of it that falls to one side with bones just becomes inert, lifeless bones. And in just only a small fragment of it that's left still moving and thriving. You feel like you've brought this thing to death's door. And where. Where you all look at Craig, all of him is glowing. Honestly. You know what you look like, Micah? You look like the. Like the artwork for you. Like the way that Zakil drew you with the glowing sword and the glowing eyes. That's what you look like right now, pulsing with energy and power. The first true paladin of the old guard in through and a half thousand years. Awesome. We go to the top of Initiative. [02:22:36] Speaker C: Wait, tell us. [02:22:37] Speaker E: I would like to roll a death save. [02:22:39] Speaker B: Yes. Death save, yes. Sorry, I forgot about that. [02:22:42] Speaker D: They do reset, just so you know. [02:22:44] Speaker B: Yeah, they reset. [02:22:45] Speaker E: Eleven save. [02:22:48] Speaker B: Excellent. Top of initiative Rose turn. [02:22:53] Speaker C: Okay, how this thing looks, like, awful. Like it's about big bad. Okay, Bad. So I'm not gonna do what I thought I was gonna do. I'm gonna go over to Tello Fail or save saves. Okay, well, that's true. [02:23:13] Speaker B: I shouldn't have said that. [02:23:16] Speaker C: Okay, it doesn't matter because I'm. Yeah, he is unconscious, so I'm gonna go. He's the only one of Us unconscious. Right. Okay. I'm gonna go over and Cat pure window at the second level. And so that's. That's gonna be my. That's gonna be 2D8. Right? [02:23:51] Speaker D: Plus charisma. Yeah. [02:23:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:23:55] Speaker D: Okay. [02:23:56] Speaker B: I'm not gonna say it, but that's 167 damage. Just saying. But not saying anything at all. Really. You're a monster. [02:24:05] Speaker C: That's. Now you made me lose my mouth. [02:24:09] Speaker D: Sorry. [02:24:10] Speaker B: Sorry. What you're talking about. [02:24:12] Speaker C: That's 16 points of healing for Tallow. So I. But at 16. 16. But as she did that. It was. [02:24:31] Speaker B: Well said. [02:24:32] Speaker C: It. It was okay. This isn't. Okay. I'm gonna do two things here. [02:24:37] Speaker A: Here. [02:24:37] Speaker C: Because I think I can. Cuz it's not a bonus action. It just doesn't. [02:24:41] Speaker B: Just go ahead and tell us what you're doing. [02:24:43] Speaker C: I'm so sorry. [02:24:44] Speaker B: You don't have to preface. [02:24:45] Speaker C: I'm sorry. Okay. I'm going to give Arcane inspiration to Rungrim, which I will explain what that is in a second. And I'm going to give Bardic inspiration to Craig as a bonus action. So arcane inspiration is going to be an ally within 60ft. He is within 60ft of me. Right? I hope. [02:25:13] Speaker B: Yes. [02:25:14] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:25:14] Speaker C: Okay. You gain advantage on your right now. Okay. You gain advantage on your next saving throw against a spell or magical effect for the next hour. [02:25:26] Speaker D: Oh. [02:25:26] Speaker C: And then whichever. When you. Yeah, yeah. So you gain that for the next hour. And Craig, you have Bardic inspiration, which is a D10 to add. And I didn't know it. I was reading my features earlier, but since I have been using Song splitter. You have a D10 plus one to your bardic inspiration. [02:25:52] Speaker D: Okay. [02:25:54] Speaker C: So you can mark that. And then she's gonna stay right there with Tello and Boz in case they go down again. And that's her turn. [02:26:02] Speaker B: Absolutely. [02:26:07] Speaker D: As. [02:26:10] Speaker B: As a new round of combat begins. [02:26:14] Speaker C: No. [02:26:14] Speaker B: And the unceasing massacre remains on the slain. It regains all of its legendary actions. [02:26:22] Speaker C: Oh, that's just silly. [02:26:26] Speaker B: And now it's going to use the legendary action it has not used so far. Expending all three. With its form falling apart, still sensing life around it, it is going to expend all three actions to use Wall of Necrosis. [02:26:45] Speaker A: What is that? [02:26:45] Speaker B: The unceasing Massacre. Shudders and waves of energy. Yes, bro. Yeah. Jackie. [02:26:49] Speaker C: Sorry. Just because. Because Cure wounds is touch. I did get it within five feet of Tello. So can I say that I'm still by him within five feet since I had to use Cure Wounds and touch. [02:27:00] Speaker B: Okay, that's where I've got you. Cool. Tell us the yellow rot there. Oh, it shutters with energy and erupts in a mass massive wall of necrotic power forming a cylinder of. Of malignant force. 60ft in diameter and 60ft in height. So that is 30ft radius. Greta is outside of it. Everyone else is inside of it. I need everyone in this space to give me a constitution saving throw. That includes wrong Boz, Craig, Rowe, and Tello for those constitution saving throw. [02:27:47] Speaker E: Does that include Greta? [02:27:49] Speaker B: Sorry, that does not include Greta. Greta is the only person who does not include. No, that's okay. [02:27:53] Speaker C: 21. [02:27:55] Speaker B: 21. It's a good time for that. [02:27:58] Speaker E: This is Constitution. [02:28:00] Speaker B: Constitution, saber. [02:28:02] Speaker E: Oh, got a 19. [02:28:05] Speaker B: That's a good time for that. It's a very good time for that. [02:28:10] Speaker A: I got a 19. [02:28:12] Speaker B: Oh, good. [02:28:16] Speaker E: I've heard it's a good time for that. [02:28:20] Speaker B: What did Roe roll as well as boss? [02:28:23] Speaker C: Ro got a 12. Okay. [02:28:27] Speaker D: It does not sound like a good plan. [02:28:29] Speaker C: No. And Boz also got a 12. Yeah. [02:28:35] Speaker B: Rowan, boss. Succeed or fail, everyone else succeeds. And so they will take full damage. Everyone else will take half of 10 d8 necrotic damage. Lee 20. 30. That is going to be 46 necrotic damage. [02:29:02] Speaker D: 23. [02:29:05] Speaker C: I'm using. I'm using a reaction. [02:29:09] Speaker B: Okay. [02:29:12] Speaker C: That'S. You said 46. [02:29:14] Speaker B: 46 necrotic damage for Roe and Boz. 23 for crack. Greg. [02:29:20] Speaker D: Wrong. [02:29:20] Speaker B: Grim and Tello. [02:29:22] Speaker E: Is this an area of effect? [02:29:26] Speaker B: It is an area of effect. [02:29:27] Speaker E: Can I use evasion? [02:29:33] Speaker D: I think evasion is only on decks, Right? [02:29:36] Speaker E: That's true. [02:29:37] Speaker B: Yes. Yes. [02:29:39] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:29:40] Speaker E: Yes. Okay. [02:29:41] Speaker B: And to be clear, Abby, completely reasonable question. That was not frustration with you. That is. That is okay. Is you playing the game. Excellent. [02:29:48] Speaker E: I understand that I am playing a rogue. I understand which. [02:29:52] Speaker B: Which are an awesome class, and I love them. And I want to. I want to love it. It's just me. [02:29:59] Speaker C: Stupid things. Okay. [02:30:03] Speaker B: So poor buddy. [02:30:06] Speaker C: Okay, I got a Nat 20. [02:30:10] Speaker B: Great. [02:30:11] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. To do my save thing. [02:30:14] Speaker B: So which feature are we utilizing? [02:30:18] Speaker C: Harmonic reconstruction. I have one more. [02:30:21] Speaker B: You can use that multiple times for long rest. [02:30:24] Speaker C: Yes. I can use it up to half my proficiency. So twice I've used. [02:30:28] Speaker B: Nice, Nice. [02:30:29] Speaker C: Damn, that's good. And so. Okay, so I. I did succeed, and I reduced the amount of damage. What was it again? By 20. [02:30:41] Speaker B: By 20. So you're going to take 26. You're going to take 26 damage. You have 20 to give to someone else. And Tello is unconscious in front of You. [02:30:49] Speaker C: Okay, so. Okay, so let me take my damage real quick. So I have that. So I'm down to that. I'm going to. I'm going to give 10 to myself because I'm very low. [02:31:02] Speaker B: Okay. [02:31:05] Speaker C: And then I'm gonna give 10 to Tello so that he's back up. [02:31:10] Speaker B: Tello goes up, down, up, down. Up, down, up, down. Poor dude. Yeah. [02:31:20] Speaker D: Oh, my goodness. [02:31:24] Speaker B: Okay. Phenomenal. [02:31:27] Speaker C: Is Boss has seven hit points, but it's his turn. [02:31:32] Speaker D: Oh, hell yeah. [02:31:33] Speaker C: I didn't use the reaction because I was like, yeah. Okay, so it's boss. [02:31:38] Speaker B: It's boss's turn. [02:31:40] Speaker C: Okay, so Boz is. Where's his sheets? I have too many sheets. He's gonna. I don't know how you guys see it. [02:31:51] Speaker D: It's. [02:31:51] Speaker B: It's a lot. It takes time. [02:31:53] Speaker C: He's gonna use a. A bonus action to healing. Word at the. [02:32:00] Speaker B: Nice. [02:32:00] Speaker C: I'm going to do it at the. I'm going to do it at the. Cuz he's really low. So healing. [02:32:09] Speaker B: He just whispers to himself, you're a big kid. You're a big kid. You're a big boy. So that's going to be big, strong. [02:32:16] Speaker C: That's going to be 5D 4s at the pit. [02:32:19] Speaker B: Yes. 5D 4. [02:32:20] Speaker D: Yes. [02:32:20] Speaker B: Plus. [02:32:21] Speaker C: Plus. Yeah. And plus his little thingy. [02:32:24] Speaker D: No. [02:32:24] Speaker B: Plus 6. 5D 4 plus 6. No. Well, Helen, 5D 4 plus 12. He also has that feature that adds 6 on from his charismas. 5D 4 plus 12. [02:32:38] Speaker C: Okay. [02:32:39] Speaker B: So it was really cute the way Jackie put them all through the dice tower because it was like a kid putting coins in a slot machine. She's like, one, two. I said slot machine and I meant like candy machine. That didn't come out. [02:32:57] Speaker D: We promote gambling on this channel. [02:32:59] Speaker B: What's worse than that? A child. No. [02:33:08] Speaker C: 20. [02:33:09] Speaker B: We don't have a sponsor all this years and our first one is points of healing. [02:33:12] Speaker C: Healing. [02:33:13] Speaker B: Phenomenal. So you know what's crazy? I think that's his record for healing. [02:33:22] Speaker C: Okay, so he's back up to 35. And he did take his temporary hit points. Those are. Those are gone. And so that was his bonus action. Where. Action. For his action. What's he gonna do? Because. [02:33:44] Speaker D: You'Re a dragon. [02:33:46] Speaker C: He could. [02:33:50] Speaker B: Also. Wrong. Grim, you're on deck. Greta up after that. I'm ready. [02:33:54] Speaker D: I'm so ready. [02:33:55] Speaker C: Let's see. Action. Action. What is he gonna do? What would Boss do? What would boss do? Guys? He is going. [02:34:05] Speaker D: He could. He could. [02:34:07] Speaker B: Action. Cast vicious mockery. [02:34:10] Speaker C: Oh, that's true. He could That's. [02:34:12] Speaker B: That's his famous combo. [02:34:14] Speaker C: That is his famous combo. Let's do it. [02:34:16] Speaker B: And then he has 50ft of movement probably right. He goes. He goes. You're a big, strong druid. You're stupid like a Looney Tunes. [02:34:33] Speaker C: Let's do vicious mockery. Do some psychic damage. [02:34:38] Speaker B: I got a Nat 20. [02:34:40] Speaker D: Oofta. [02:34:42] Speaker C: No psychic damage means no psychic. Damn. [02:34:46] Speaker B: Does he take. So boss says you're a big Dominican and then he runs away. [02:34:49] Speaker C: Yeah, that's true. [02:34:50] Speaker B: Is he going his full 50 or how far is he going? [02:34:54] Speaker C: Yeah, let's just get him out of Dodge so that I don't have to put him. [02:35:00] Speaker D: No. [02:35:00] Speaker C: Okay, Sounds great. I think it's. Put Buz over there right now. [02:35:07] Speaker B: Excellent. [02:35:07] Speaker C: Keep this. [02:35:08] Speaker B: Let's go home now. He take nap now. Wrong. It's your turn. [02:35:14] Speaker D: I take a moment of like again, not feeling great, but seeing death racking my friends. I look towards Craig and I give him just like. You know, I think it's Zach Galifianakis in that meme that has, like, the big beard. And like, you see him come up and he gives him that nod. That's what Ron Grimm does. And he says, let's kill him together. As I'm going to. I'm also going to reaction. Turn my trident from cold to fire because I don't want to do that again again. In this way of like, he grabs it and like his own heat along with the spirits come around him as it changes. The icy super. [02:35:55] Speaker B: Yeah sets on fire. [02:35:58] Speaker D: And I say, let's see if this changes anything. I got a 28 on my first one. I'm reckless 25 on my second one. Come on, baby. I like how now you're like. [02:36:16] Speaker B: I want to clarify. Not recklessly. [02:36:24] Speaker D: Not 20 on my big sword. Big sword. Nice. I guess I can only NAT20 on that one. But anyway, here's a lot of damage I got. I get 5d12 now. That's pretty exciting. I don't have to do anything, right? Because you set fire. I don't have to do. Figure out other math. That's all I need to know. [02:36:46] Speaker B: Daniel starts crying a little. [02:36:50] Speaker D: Here's all my G6s. I have too many. [02:36:53] Speaker B: Jeez. You guys hear the sound of those being dropped? [02:36:57] Speaker C: That was beautiful. Music to our ears. [02:37:00] Speaker B: Daniel said, I'm gonna go ahead and roll damage. Oh, my goodness. Jackie, you remember that 3D printed cross a dice crossbow you had? [02:37:16] Speaker D: There's my master. There's my mastic. [02:37:19] Speaker B: The next time we play in person, you need to use that on me at least once. Like, shoot me with your roll. [02:37:26] Speaker D: And I like, love. I think the blade is gonna nine. Crazy, crazy amounts over here. [02:37:45] Speaker B: Dang. [02:37:49] Speaker D: Okay. [02:37:51] Speaker B: You. You know, it's intense when Daniel's gotten really quiet. Quiet. [02:37:55] Speaker A: That's. [02:37:56] Speaker B: That's how you know the math is really. Mathing is when Daniel gets really quiet while thinking because he can do the easy maths quick as dm. [02:38:06] Speaker D: All right. All together. Ideal. Well, now I'm just going to tell you it all together, I don't think. Unless you want me to separate the three. [02:38:15] Speaker B: No, no, no. All together. It's all together. [02:38:17] Speaker D: 117 points of damage. [02:38:20] Speaker E: Wow. [02:38:20] Speaker B: 117. [02:38:22] Speaker D: 117 points of damage. [02:38:30] Speaker B: How do you want to do this? [02:38:32] Speaker D: Oh, well, I was so glad. I was hoping you're gonna do that. [02:38:36] Speaker B: Would you like it to involve a simultaneous reaction from you and Craig for the sake of narrative? Do you want it to be both of you? [02:38:43] Speaker D: Sure. Heck yeah. I love it. [02:38:45] Speaker B: I just because. Just because you gave him the bro nod and said, let's finish this. [02:38:49] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:38:50] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. Daniel, can we cheers with our. With our like. [02:38:55] Speaker D: Oh, with our weapons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:38:59] Speaker B: I said. I said, do you want to include Micah? And Micah went, can we hug? [02:39:06] Speaker D: I. I think it's this. This motion of like, I push my trident in my left hand. I bring the sword back to my right hand as I'm now able to do that. And I like, I put my sword over to where Craig's is and kind of like in a flashing motion, just like, I think we like bring like this shed of like, I don't know. [02:39:25] Speaker B: Like cross your brain with each other and for a second. [02:39:28] Speaker D: Yeah. As we fall into the attack, I. I'll describe mine and then Craig can describe his. But I think I just go into. To a frag and frenzy. One that has been stoic this whole time. But with death's door on all my friends going down, I go a bit manic as I like, bring in my trident and I just like every leg bone and like arm bone. I'm just using my trident to just. Oh, Zach said press the hang up button. No worries. The trident. I grab each one that's trying to stop me from coming in and Craig and just like make a path for both of us and my fire burning all the bones that come across it as I think it. Whatever Craig wants to do. But I think it'd be super cool if we both go in with both our swords at the very end for the last kill and Find like the core of the being as both our blades like split the core in half. But that is my thoughts. [02:40:29] Speaker A: I will absolutely. I am picking up what you're putting down. I'm actually reading the room as this is happening. Why I follow your. [02:40:42] Speaker D: Hell. Yeah. [02:40:44] Speaker B: As you, as you plunge the trident inside, burn with fire and then rip the bones out of the way, you guys both take your swords and it's like. You know that scene in Avatar the Last Airbender where Zuko and Aang have mastered the firebending form together at the same time. [02:40:59] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. [02:41:00] Speaker B: The one single move of you guys take your swords and you both. It's not in perfect unison, but one stabbing motion and a stomp from both of you guys down into the center. And as wrong rakes the bones apart, you do in fact see a core. No tissue, but just energy. Just this swirling ball of necrosis and death. And as you guys and for a moment can see in the middle of it, it's like you see the power start to reach out to you and you guys both just. And with fire and radiance and power, you guys just. And the thing obliterates, just atomizes, explodes with energy. Everyone in the clearing is knocked back onto their backs. And as everyone falls to the ground with all of the kuoa assailants slain and the unceasing massacre destroyed, that is where we are going to end. Episode 168 of the Accidental Adventures. That was quizzazy. I know I have yalls XP from last time and I have the XP from this time. I'm actually gonna wait until the end of next session to give you all of it. Okay. Because next session, there's only a little more to gain, so I'll just give you the total of next time. I want to respect the sleepies and there's some fairly important roleplay stuff in the next one. So we're gonna try and take a quick five minute break and then be back here so that if Michael wants to go night night, she can. But if she wants to participate, she also can. So incredible, incredible session. That was awesome. Listener. Life's an incredible adventure and you're a very important part of it. And none of the fun guys died. [02:42:38] Speaker E: That's so great. [02:42:39] Speaker B: We'll see you next time for a less. Well, a session that's not as intense in a different way. Okay, Skibidi bop and data. [02:42:49] Speaker E: Bye.
