[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome to Barely dnd your sort of D D podcast. [00:00:05] Speaker B: Nice. Nailed it. Nailed it. Classic. [00:00:10] Speaker C: All of the rest of us are so quiet. [00:00:12] Speaker A: I am your. [00:00:13] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:00:13] Speaker B: I was gonna say, if we sound. If we sound so different this session, it's because there were way too many emotions and everyone's tired and we're all just cooked. But don't worry, we're. [00:00:24] Speaker E: We're dropping, like, guys. We really are. [00:00:26] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. We are down two party members. [00:00:30] Speaker B: Don't worry. [00:00:30] Speaker C: Hopefully. Hopefully it doesn't go this fast next session. Oh, wow. [00:00:37] Speaker B: That. What a candle. [00:00:38] Speaker C: That was good. [00:00:41] Speaker B: Yes. That would also be hooked. Oh, okay. All right. [00:00:46] Speaker E: What is that? [00:00:47] Speaker B: So we're just gonna get right into it because I hired players, I need to keep them moving. [00:00:51] Speaker E: So I'm not tired. [00:00:53] Speaker C: I'm not tired. [00:00:55] Speaker B: Okay. Our letter question is, what is the most embarrassing thing your character has done in public or would do in public? And. Oh, hi, Ellie. Let's start with. I don't know. I've done so many of these, I don't know what to say anymore. We'll just go with something random. What's. Let's start with the person who was most recently concerned they might be having gallbladder issues. Just something out of thin air. Just something so random. Whoever that might be. [00:01:33] Speaker C: Releasing my medical history to the world. It could have been anybody. [00:01:41] Speaker A: I'm definitely second. [00:01:46] Speaker D: I don't even have a gallbladder anymore, so not me. [00:01:48] Speaker C: This is the new. This is the new special guest, Jackie. [00:01:52] Speaker E: This is the new. [00:01:55] Speaker C: This is the new. [00:01:57] Speaker B: It is. It totally is the new special guest, Jackie. Jackie Butler. Jackly. Jackly. Jiggly. [00:02:05] Speaker C: Jackly. I've gone from Jackie to Jackly to Jiggle. [00:02:10] Speaker B: Just wait till you're charcoal. [00:02:13] Speaker C: Sometimes. I'm happy. [00:02:14] Speaker E: Oh, no. I'm so tired. [00:02:18] Speaker B: Oh, sorry. [00:02:19] Speaker C: I want one hour of sleep, you guys. [00:02:21] Speaker D: So it. [00:02:22] Speaker B: One hour? [00:02:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:24] Speaker C: I had one hour sleep last night. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:02:28] Speaker D: I'd be dead. [00:02:30] Speaker C: So I don't even think you can [00:02:32] Speaker E: have REM sleep with one hour. [00:02:34] Speaker C: I got you guys. [00:02:35] Speaker D: No, I don't think so either. [00:02:36] Speaker C: I'm the master at this. [00:02:38] Speaker E: You didn't even have any time to dream last night anyway. What are you doing? [00:02:44] Speaker D: She's living her dreams. [00:02:46] Speaker B: She's trying to answer fast. Abby's getting okay. That phase. You're just going to have to start answering. [00:02:53] Speaker C: I think Roe. I mean, Roe went through a phase. I don't know if it's embarrassing, but, like, embarrassing. [00:03:02] Speaker B: That's the question. [00:03:02] Speaker C: She did go through, like, a phase where she did, like, even before like campaign time. She went through, like, a klepto phase a little bit. So she would steal things sometimes just minor things, you know, not. Not like diamonds. But that's not really your question. [00:03:20] Speaker B: Yeah, Can I volunteer one? [00:03:24] Speaker C: When I. When I sang to Kefkins, I was [00:03:29] Speaker B: gonna say, when you hopelessly publicly crush. Crushed on a morning king, oppressed by an empire. [00:03:37] Speaker C: I didn't publicly do that. [00:03:38] Speaker B: Stop. Flirted him. Well, no, no, but, like, start. Stop flirting every couple sentences and going. Never mind. Like, with him like that. [00:03:46] Speaker C: That could have just been awkward. Ro. Being awkward, not flirting. There was no actual flirting. [00:03:53] Speaker B: Well, fair enough. [00:03:54] Speaker C: Maybe. I think I would say that probably early on. I'm gonna go with an early thing. Early on. Right when she left Zedge, she probably played in a. In a tavern or something, and she had just, like, mastered like a. Like a. I don't know, prestidigitation or some kind of first level spell or something. And she really thought that she had it, and she was gonna, like, play a thing and it'd be like, boop. And it didn't go well, and it really messed up, and people laughed at her. Like, laughter off the stage or something. [00:04:33] Speaker B: Instead of cleaning it, she accidentally pissed her pants. [00:04:36] Speaker C: And maybe. Or maybe it's the publicly flirting with a king. I don't know. [00:04:43] Speaker B: Oh, there was a time you got [00:04:44] Speaker C: tied to the boat, but that wasn't public. That was just between family. That was on a ship in the ocean. [00:04:49] Speaker D: Funny, though. [00:04:50] Speaker E: That's also not something that she did. It was done, too, also. [00:04:53] Speaker C: I was. Yeah, I was like. [00:04:55] Speaker B: Yeah, but it was funny. Yeah, it was funny. Oh, Michael was the one who did that. I was like, abby, weren't you the one? No, but it was Micah who did that. [00:05:05] Speaker C: No. [00:05:05] Speaker B: I don't know. I can't think of a good embarrassing one. For real. Greta. [00:05:13] Speaker E: It's Andrea. She is concerned about her gallbladder more recently. [00:05:17] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. What's Javian's most embarrassing? I mean, we all know it. [00:05:21] Speaker C: Wait, I want to know. [00:05:23] Speaker A: Embarrassing in his life until I started playing him. That's so funny. [00:05:30] Speaker C: That's beautiful, Andrea. [00:05:33] Speaker B: Inspiration. That's. [00:05:34] Speaker C: I'm writing that down. [00:05:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm also writing that down. That's inspiration, Andrea. That's excellent. [00:05:42] Speaker A: So, Zach, tell me, what's this that you're thinking of? [00:05:44] Speaker B: I mean, I'm definitely thinking of the. The. The riot thing, but you go ahead. [00:05:50] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So after we had defeated. Yep. We were trying to be a little. We're trying to. Trying to be subtle. [00:06:02] Speaker C: Yeah. He remembered telling us moving dragon. [00:06:05] Speaker A: I think. I think we told the story a few weeks ago. [00:06:07] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:06:09] Speaker A: Amongst each other. Yes. Moving dragon parts through the town in order to like get them on our ship or in like to sellers. Like we like had parts of the EP we were trying to sell. And I. I don't know, it was like chaotic. Like there was like Janice was using alter self, Jevian was using disguise self. We had like multiple cards. Like many things were happening. And at one point Xavian was trying to do was like try to use minor illusion to cover something and just wasn't thinking about how every time he casts a spell, even a cantrip back during Zorgrim times, there was like his eyes would flash back and like, like, like it looked dark. It was not subtle. And so then the people discussing. He's like. He's like. There's like, yeah, the dragon parts. I. We. We defeat. No, we're the good guys. We defeated the dragons. I took. I took Yid's dark powers. [00:07:17] Speaker E: Clear. [00:07:18] Speaker D: I have myself. [00:07:23] Speaker B: Yes. Shaving past a minor illusion. And someone was like, what? And he was like, hold on, I got this. And then he stood up on a cart and shouted to the crowd, we've killed the dragon. And I stole his dark powers for myself. And the whole town was like. And then the party had had to. [00:07:45] Speaker E: I love. I love Zedge. I. They're like, someone bleeds blood from. From their eyes and then declares that they have stolen the dragon's power for themselves. And they riot. They're like, we're gonna kill you. That's so. That's so funny. We're like, we. [00:08:03] Speaker C: You. [00:08:03] Speaker E: We're gonna. That's the problem for us. [00:08:07] Speaker B: And then five or six months later had statues of him being. [00:08:11] Speaker A: Yeah, no, definitely had a good later. But yeah, we were like using fake names and stuff at that point. I don't. It probably was connected to me at one point though. [00:08:21] Speaker B: That's taking me back to Pierre. Let's go with. [00:08:26] Speaker C: I remembered mine now. [00:08:29] Speaker A: Oh. [00:08:30] Speaker C: So when I was blue and farty. [00:08:39] Speaker D: I wish I had any more contact. [00:08:42] Speaker B: I went back and listened. [00:08:44] Speaker E: You don't need much, bro. Was blue all over. And she was farty. [00:08:48] Speaker C: And my hair was gone. I was bald. [00:08:52] Speaker E: Blue and farty. [00:08:53] Speaker A: Sounds like wild magic. [00:08:56] Speaker C: We were in the Lost Lands. It was my worst art. I have never experienced so many bad D100. [00:09:05] Speaker B: It was awful. [00:09:06] Speaker C: In the Lost Lands. [00:09:08] Speaker D: No. [00:09:08] Speaker E: Meanwhile, bars was like rolling. Like your magic is actually a little cooler. [00:09:14] Speaker C: No, listen, it was. It was farty, bald, blue, a beard and then I got sent to the shadow. [00:09:21] Speaker D: No, no. [00:09:24] Speaker E: What? [00:09:25] Speaker B: Jackie, That's a worse party. And then you caught Farty again. [00:09:31] Speaker C: I wrote this. That's a 1 in 100 chance. You guys rolled the same D100 again. [00:09:38] Speaker B: It's like they were little ranges, but it's. It's like a. A 2 or 3% chance. It was crazy. [00:09:45] Speaker D: That's awesome. [00:09:46] Speaker C: Anyway, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt, [00:09:48] Speaker B: but I remembered that was worse. That was worth saying. [00:09:51] Speaker C: Even though it was just the fun guys row farting in public and not having her, like, hair, which she deems like her signature thing. [00:09:59] Speaker D: Yes. [00:09:59] Speaker C: Worst time of her life, and she can't even understand her far Dolgoff again. [00:10:06] Speaker B: Do you remember the. [00:10:08] Speaker A: A lot of us lost our hair in the Bitterlands. [00:10:12] Speaker E: Why are you trying to get all of our hair? [00:10:15] Speaker B: Do you remember who? [00:10:16] Speaker E: I didn't know. There was wild magic in the party [00:10:18] Speaker B: episode where Craig was. Craig's trying to see if he should talk to. To Roe. And it was the. That fart sounded like an invitation. [00:10:31] Speaker C: That was also the arc where I thought that that that drunk Colton's character was maybe my dad. [00:10:41] Speaker E: Well, she was, like, all blue, and she was all farty. And each episode, we were like, today, are we gonna meet Rose Dad? [00:10:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:48] Speaker C: And we were like, am I gonna meet my dad like this? [00:10:51] Speaker B: And then Bonds running into an ostrich, laying an egg, and then going, dinner. [00:10:58] Speaker E: He polymorphed into an or wild shape. I don't remember. He turned into an ostrich, laid a huge ostrich egg, and then was like, guys, I made dinner. [00:11:07] Speaker C: And we were like. [00:11:08] Speaker A: And then he ate it. [00:11:10] Speaker C: Oh, it was great. [00:11:12] Speaker B: Ah, Greta, what's your embarrassing moment? I hope it's Kara next. No, she doesn't have a gallbladder. Carrie goes last. [00:11:20] Speaker E: Oh, but I've never had. I've never had gallbladder problems. So. [00:11:24] Speaker B: Yes, she doesn't have a gallbladder, so [00:11:26] Speaker D: she went to have problems with it. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Wait, no. But that means Abby's never thought of her gallbladder. Thought about it at the time. [00:11:35] Speaker E: Most recently thought about her golf. [00:11:37] Speaker B: That's a good point. No, that's true. [00:11:40] Speaker D: Okay. [00:11:41] Speaker B: What is it, Kara? Everyone has come together to defeat you. You have lost. [00:11:45] Speaker D: Hey, that's cool. [00:11:46] Speaker C: I'll leave. [00:11:47] Speaker D: No, no, [00:11:49] Speaker B: don't tempt me. [00:11:54] Speaker D: I think Janice has a few really embarrassing moments happened under my control. One of them was that, of course. I mean, everybody's heard. I got stuck under a net for the whole fight. That was awesome. Couldn't get out of it even. It wasn't. I didn't have the strength to lift it up over me. So that was that. [00:12:20] Speaker B: You failed, like, three or four checks [00:12:23] Speaker D: for it the whole fight. UEG was the only one who could do anything. Anyways, the next one is playing. Yep. And it was just me and him playing in the campaign, and I guess it was just him, honestly. So then the. The first ever adventure I ever, ever did was trying to get onto this rock. [00:12:48] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. [00:12:49] Speaker D: I forgot. Fell off the boat twice. [00:12:55] Speaker B: That was awesome. [00:12:56] Speaker C: Sure. [00:12:57] Speaker D: Huh. And that was really interesting. But the. The last one was because Carol was very dumb, and I had never played DND before. Okay. So I don't understand the rules about all stuff. All right. It's not because I'm or anything. Correct. [00:13:17] Speaker A: Where we're going. [00:13:18] Speaker D: Well, we were fighting some pirates. Chicken pirates, to be exact. And we killed. And I was like, well, we're hungry. We're on a ship. Don't we eat chicken? So I was like, we just eat the people. That's fine. [00:13:32] Speaker B: Right? [00:13:32] Speaker D: And Zach was like, kara, they're sentient. And so that's when I learned that animal people are real in this world. [00:13:39] Speaker A: Those are people. [00:13:41] Speaker D: I didn't understand that. [00:13:43] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. But now I feel like we have [00:13:46] Speaker A: fish people working on our boat. [00:13:48] Speaker B: The moment. [00:13:49] Speaker D: No, we didn't have any people like that. It was the very beginning, the moment [00:13:53] Speaker B: they had all died and we were done with the fight. Everybody was like, all right, good fight. And then Kara was like, should we eat them? Everyone was like, yeah, I can honestly. [00:14:05] Speaker E: I can honestly like playing, like, in. In a. In a game where everybody is always like, hey, should we loot the monster corpse? [00:14:12] Speaker D: Yes. [00:14:12] Speaker E: And there's a chicken. [00:14:13] Speaker D: Chicken. [00:14:14] Speaker E: Yeah, I can see it, you know? [00:14:17] Speaker C: Yes. Thank you. [00:14:17] Speaker D: I just didn't realize. I didn't understand what DND was at the time. I was very new. Very like. [00:14:24] Speaker A: I'm sure it nutritious nutritionally would have been fine. It morally. [00:14:32] Speaker C: No, no, we shouldn't. [00:14:33] Speaker D: We shouldn't have ate the chicken people. And we didn't. We didn't do it because everybody was like, cara, that's not what we do here. [00:14:39] Speaker C: And I was like, that's not what we do here. [00:14:43] Speaker D: It was very upsetting, too. I already know I have a tone for my s every night. [00:14:48] Speaker C: Zach, didn't we read. Didn't we read a Reddit story where, like, the DM was like, my players are trying to be cannibals all the time and eat their enemies or something? [00:14:58] Speaker D: And we Were like, zach made the post. [00:15:03] Speaker C: He was like, help my players trying to eat the chicken people. [00:15:10] Speaker D: Somebody being a meme. [00:15:11] Speaker B: No, Help my players keep going into port and buying lemon pepper. I'm scared. Oh, my goodness. Okay. [00:15:19] Speaker D: Anyways, that was my embarrassing moment. That was Sarah's embarrassing moment. [00:15:24] Speaker B: That was phenomenal. Thank you for bringing that up, Abby. [00:15:27] Speaker D: Of course. [00:15:28] Speaker E: I don't know. I remember something that I got teased for a lot. This Tara's thing kind of reminded me of this. I didn't know there were more than one type of fish person. I was like, oh, apparently la. What is that? [00:15:46] Speaker B: Now I'm lakatha in the kuoa. [00:15:49] Speaker E: Yeah, there's la and there's kuoa. I did not know that there were two different fish people. And so when. [00:15:56] Speaker C: Maybe more. [00:15:58] Speaker E: Yeah, I didn't know that there was more than one type of fish person. So when I saw one fish person and then I saw another fish person, I was like, oh, it's a kuatoa. And they were like, no, Abby, it's a different fish person. You are racist. [00:16:12] Speaker C: So for a long time, no, Greta [00:16:14] Speaker E: was known as a racist gnome. Because Player Abby did not know that there were different fish people. [00:16:21] Speaker B: Important context, I think I had just gotten done saying, that's a lokatha. And then Abby was like, cool. Where are your kuo toa friends? Like, what? [00:16:33] Speaker A: No. [00:16:34] Speaker E: So that was embarrassing for Greta and player Abby. I feel like the. The first incident with Thespis, when she killed him, was probably embarrassing, but also, like, very, very deeply, like, shameful and sad and. [00:16:52] Speaker B: And. [00:16:53] Speaker E: But embarrassing also. And then I definitely feel bad about that. Well, just Greta, like, just crawls on the ground sometimes. So I think, like, maybe she's not embarrassed, but she. She probably makes her friends embarrassed because just old lady crawling on the ground. [00:17:13] Speaker B: I mean, I don't think it embarrassed you at all, but that time you just fell over in the street and hit your head and found out secrets of the universe. That was. That was memorable. [00:17:23] Speaker E: I was great. [00:17:24] Speaker C: I think it was. I did not endorse embarrassing that Roe used to, like, in the very beginning of the campaign would be like, I'm Rowena Green bottle. I cringe at that. [00:17:35] Speaker B: But that's fine. [00:17:37] Speaker C: That's growth. [00:17:39] Speaker B: That's growth. That's growth. [00:17:40] Speaker E: And that's on growth. [00:17:43] Speaker B: I have a child on the way. I'm allowed to do that now with. I have the dad jokes. I have a quota to fill. I'm sorry. Feminine's tough. [00:17:56] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:57] Speaker E: You kind of got to be in that person. [00:18:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Embarrassing. Gets you killed or disregarded. I don't what's. What's embarrassing. [00:18:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:10] Speaker B: When it was you again, Tello, I felt like I had way better answers and it's like too cool for anything. I just. [00:18:16] Speaker C: No, he's too cool. [00:18:17] Speaker D: You could do you like then if you want. Yeah, I think it would be funny. [00:18:20] Speaker C: It's fine. [00:18:22] Speaker B: I don't want to disappoint, but I truly can't think of. I can't even think of a satisfying answer. [00:18:26] Speaker C: He's just too cool for it. [00:18:27] Speaker E: Can I. I feel like he would like something that would embarrass him is like he would like someone would like a fancy crime person like another crime boss or someone really high up in the organization would be like, oh, Thinman, I, I ran across your. Your buddy Zorgo Bop the other day and it was like if one of. I feel like something that one of his minions did wrong and he heard about it from someone else, I feel like that would be mortifying. [00:18:56] Speaker B: Well, I mean, like, I think Bulgur and Eek embarrassed Simden, but it wasn't something he was doing. [00:19:02] Speaker C: So it's just. [00:19:03] Speaker B: It's tough to tell on you egg to you egg. I think, you know, honestly, I think the one for UEG and this is a little funny, but more genuinely like, ah, yeah, that is embarrassing is that he is so people oriented and so good natured and so people focused and friendly and relational. But he is not great with details. And I can 100 believe that UEG especially like back when he was with the. The temple, I bet he met somebody and mixed up their name with somebody else's later. But then very confidently was like, that's Susan. When it was actually and just confidently greeted her by the wrong name for like four or five months and like in emotionally vulnerable moments when performing his duties as a cleric and just at some point found out that she had the wrong name and she was too polite to correct him. And I bet he. I bet he thinks about that to this day. I bet he wakes up in the night thinking about that. [00:20:15] Speaker A: UEG wasn't embarrassed by it, but he should be embarrassed for every time we had him do a sin dink. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Yes, he wasn't embarrassed. [00:20:23] Speaker C: I remember sending Janice one time and he kept like grabbing the stone or something and he was hearing every other word. [00:20:38] Speaker B: Oh yeah. The time Greta ate the beast and berries and had to crap behind a rock in the mountains. [00:20:43] Speaker D: That was we. [00:20:44] Speaker C: It was Greta and bro. [00:20:49] Speaker B: And then Fratello. I think just at a really important diplomatic Meeting in his life. He accidentally farted and Portello and, like, I think he was meeting with, like, some sort of, like, diplomat and went and had to go, like, how about this ride? I think that was his moment on that ceremonious and magnanimous moment. Go ahead and start our session. This is episodes 182 and 255 of the Accidental Adventures and the Legend of the New Ones. Such a good number for Yalabran. [00:21:29] Speaker C: 255 for Yalabran is the name. No, dude, the waterworks are gonna start coming again. [00:21:41] Speaker A: Is this the one where we do, like, a big, dramatic beach? This feels like [00:21:48] Speaker B: this is the one where on the beach, you get up on a rock and you shout, I have killed the dragon and taken his dark powers from myself. [00:21:58] Speaker C: All I can think about. [00:22:00] Speaker A: I think. I think there's a plan here that should be our plan. [00:22:04] Speaker C: All I can think about is beach kin. My job's just beach. [00:22:09] Speaker B: My job is just beach. Oh, my goodness. [00:22:15] Speaker C: Okay. All right, [00:22:20] Speaker B: let's hop to it, players. [00:22:23] Speaker A: Hey, Greta. Greta and Rodgram did such a good job at beach. [00:22:28] Speaker B: They did. You know what? To be fair, you guys killed Beach. So, defenders of Yalden, I guess we can call the mega party that Mightiest Heroes. Okay, the music's playing. You all have danced, and this is the same day. You transported to the isle. You've accessed the well. You had visions. You died and were raised. You had brutal calls, saying goodbye to loved ones and making last connections. It's. It's been, even to this group, one of the longest days of all of your lives. And after a much, much needed stress relief in the dance, everyone's gotten tired, and you guys are winding down to probably have the preparatory act of heroes feasting and getting ready to set off with these dragons soon, apparently. And we'll say that it's about this time that, you know, it can be happening asynchronously. It can be a bit. A bit anthological, the events of the last session, how they were happening on the beach. But at some point, Janice, you can have readied the teleportation circle for boss. [00:24:12] Speaker D: I. I would. Oh, sorry. [00:24:21] Speaker B: We'll say that's ready a little later, because before, after, you all have had the dance for about. About 20 or 30 minutes after, you know, there's this time, Janice, where you have the circle kind of ready to go, but you don't want to do it quite yet because it's so final. And clearly the group's a little too shocked for that. A little Too tired and worn out at some point as people are reclining and drinking in the sun because the dragons are having to prepare and gather whatever it is they need as you all are getting together the implements to cast heroes feast and just trying to soak in these last moments together. We Woo is sitting next to you, Xavian, and she just. You're just sitting there watching the waves, having this moment as compatriots, as a couple. And she just catches a breath. And you watch her kind of choke on it for a moment. And she breathes heavily for a moment and kind of shifts her weight onto one of her strong arms and she brings another hand up to her chest and squeezes. [00:25:43] Speaker A: I pump a little healing into her. [00:25:45] Speaker B: Okay. She, like, shudders slightly and looks at you and then. Coughs. And she like, shifts her weight forward on her hips to sit up and can only kind of hold herself. Ua guy is kind of lounging nearby and he looks up. She gets a furrowed brow and jogs over. And you watch as Wee Woo goes to sit up and her abdominals just, like, fail her. And that never happens in so Javeen. You kind of catch her in your arms and pull her in a little bit. She's got just enough strength to sit herself up with your help, but you're watching sweat bead all over her brow and she just shakes a little bit and she's breathing normally. But you watch her, like, her eyes look a little panicked and she's just, [00:26:38] Speaker A: what is this? [00:26:38] Speaker B: And ue jogs over and goes, hey, what's. What's going on? And we would just pants and says, I don't. I don't know, I just feel really weird all of a sudden. I. You watch her, like, kind of start to form a couple, like, quippy sentences, but then her breath falters again and she can't quite get it out. Her breathing evens and she looks concerned and her right hand starts trembling. Shaving. Go ahead. [00:27:23] Speaker A: Is this. Is this similar to the symptoms that Ro and Bass had? [00:27:33] Speaker B: You were walking behind. You were walking beside Boz when it happened, and you notice a similar sudden lack of strength and confusion and disconcert. And she looks nervously, her hand trembles, and she just looks at you, her eyes wide. She slips her hand to Gulnica's longbow. [00:28:00] Speaker A: Just breathe. [00:28:02] Speaker B: And her hand kind of trembles for a second over the bow before she grabs it and she squeezes it. Nothing happens. She just sits down a little more defeated. And after years of knowing we Woo knowing her deeply. Yeah, for about the first time ever, you watch her just completely cave in. Not like a. Not like a collapse of a person or complete despondence. But she's such a physical person. When she can't be in her head, she's in her body. And in this moment, yeah, she's lacking strength, but she just doesn't even try to hold herself up. She just lets herself fall into your chest as she just buckles before the realization. That she has been separated from the Masnana. And as you remember, for the economy, that is as meaningful as any of you all losing their magic. But for her, this means to be separated from her, Peter, her people and her culture at this time that she. She is separated from her magic because she is right now separated from the spirit of her people in their land. And she's just trembling there with you, just staring at the waves. She's not speaking. She's just shocked. You recognizes what's going on. And he just bends down and puts a hand on her shoulder and sits quietly. [00:30:18] Speaker D: I, I'm gonna come over there too, like, just kind of knowing what's happening wrong. [00:30:25] Speaker B: Grim does as well. And fun guys, you all look over and you all watch the warriors of the well gather up around one of their own. As you all watch something very familiar happen to this time one of their rank. And everyone becomes comes, everyone is reminded. I mean, obviously the most important thing here is the thing happening to the person. But all of the casters here are reminded that everyone's powers are hanging by a thread in these waning last critical hours of the world. [00:31:09] Speaker C: I think I, I, I get a little closer, but like, I keep my distance, like just to be near if they need something, you know, And I just do the seven stars of saloon and just sit there silently like watching the fire or whatever if we have going on the beach. [00:31:34] Speaker A: Yeah, I just sit there and like, comfort her as I can. But also in Javion's mind is the warring thought of the timeline is moving very fast. He's done something terribly damaging in the balance already. [00:31:50] Speaker D: Yeah. If it hit her now, I think I would give Xavian a look like that. You know that we're both like communicating that. [00:31:59] Speaker C: Yeah, I think I would communicate that with Greta with my mind as well. [00:32:09] Speaker A: Besties be like [00:32:14] Speaker C: we. [00:32:18] Speaker D: I, I don't know. I don't know if you should come with. I don't want to leave you. I think we need to. We need to fight for you now. [00:32:36] Speaker B: In a moment of panic, she responds something she almost never does. And then she blinks for a second and she says, I'm supposed to fight with you all. This is my whole thing. [00:32:57] Speaker D: It's. [00:32:57] Speaker B: We were just dancing. This. [00:33:04] Speaker D: This is bigger than. Than all of us, than anything we could have imagined. [00:33:11] Speaker B: She's just immediately accepting. So different from Boz. She, this person who, I mean, you all know, we woo. We woo. Takes it as it is all the time. And she just nods. But she's shaking in your arms, Javan. And the tears are welling up in her eyes and she, like, it's not kind of throws her head back into your chest. She's nodding, trying to accept, but the tears are starting to stream down the sides of her face. [00:33:36] Speaker A: It's not. It's not fair. But [00:33:42] Speaker D: as soon as we defeat, [00:33:45] Speaker A: especially if maybe they could drop you since we are going north. [00:33:52] Speaker B: She turns and looks at you, Aden. And one of her greenish gray hands, rough, puts a hand on your cheek and she goes, I don't want you. I don't want you to die. I can't die with you. [00:34:12] Speaker A: I don't want to die either. [00:34:15] Speaker B: Can't I just show up, shoot arrows? And she just. [00:34:28] Speaker A: What can you get? [00:34:30] Speaker B: She knows there's nothing left to say and she just buries her head in your chest. And there the warriors of the well mourn. Suddenly and dissatisfyingly in Javian, you hold the woman you've loved so very much, and she weeps in your arms. And Boz walks over, sort of absent mind, picks up some of the sand in his hand and lets it fall in between his fingers as he stares at you all. And Janice, you are aware in this terrible moment that that circle needs to be completed soon. And even though it is not, it's not appropriate, it's not satisfying, it's not good. This has to get moving or she won't be the last one. [00:35:40] Speaker D: You guys, I. I think we need to. We need to. And then I think she's just gonna like there and like kind of like pick at herself but like trying to like hold back like any. Anything just to keep us as like a team moving. [00:36:03] Speaker B: UIG puts a hand on your shoulder and reflexively casts guidance. And then he just whispers. There's nowhere in the world we could be that we wouldn't be together. [00:36:18] Speaker D: Absolutely. [00:36:20] Speaker B: You're tough as nails. [00:36:21] Speaker A: We would. [00:36:24] Speaker B: We need to get going. And YouTube O is just nearby. And he just nods bitterly. Just. Yeah, [00:36:37] Speaker D: we will do. Should we go with. Maybe they can. They can get somewhere safe together. [00:36:45] Speaker B: We will lifts her. Her head off of Jen's chest Just a little bit of snot under her nose, tears everywhere. She wipes her nose and just tears still coming out of her eyes. She just says, [00:37:02] Speaker D: yeah, [00:37:06] Speaker B: and you got to send me now or I'm not going to go. [00:37:11] Speaker A: We know how to get there. I'll be there as soon as I'm done. [00:37:16] Speaker B: Yeah, you better. I swear, if you fall in love with somebody else on the way there, I'm gonna be so mad. [00:37:28] Speaker A: All of the hot women that are [00:37:30] Speaker B: going to be on the ride raining down. And her joke starts to fall apart as real emotion comes up again. And she just kisses you really hard. [00:37:45] Speaker A: And then when we pull back, [00:37:50] Speaker C: it's [00:37:51] Speaker D: been, I'll give her a hug. [00:37:52] Speaker A: It's always you. [00:37:53] Speaker B: Oh, I'll come back. She just nods. Nothing left to say. She hugs you, Janice. [00:38:00] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:38:01] Speaker B: She hugs wrong. All walk over to some flat stone, the edge of the forest where you've been. Drawing the circle intricately, I call up [00:38:12] Speaker C: the le as he asked me to. We don't have to role play it. I just call him and let them know that they're coming and we're going to leave soon. [00:38:19] Speaker B: He acknowledges. And in a somber, confusing, dissatisfying moment, we woo and Boz gather on the stone. Janice, with the magical chalk in your hand, ready to complete the symbol, does anyone have any last words for Boz? [00:38:51] Speaker C: I go give him a hug if he'll let me. And. I just, I just say we'll see each other again. [00:39:11] Speaker B: He allows the hug. He half heartedly returns it as you, yeah, give your support. You watch him, you watch him fight back, back all the things he's feeling and, And instead of giving you some bittered look, he just kind of like nods so unable to fake some sort of positive sentiment, but just trying to, to respect what's left of everything you all had. And he just, he just nods and he goes, We'll see each other. [00:40:07] Speaker E: I think Greta goes up and just takes his hand and just, I think kind of looks up at him. And she doesn't have any words, but she just looks like at his eyes for a long time and kind of studies his face. Like she's, she's like trying to understand, like understand how he's feeling as a way to connect but also understand, like understand something through him. And it's like he's, he's, he led the group for a long time and I think she's like, like almost kind of maybe without even realizing it, searching his face for one last, like, bit of guidance or a bit of like, knowledge. Or like leadership. [00:41:07] Speaker B: I mean, not to. This is a character and not our, our friend and family member Landon. But in that way that Landon can give an intense, prolonged look. For a while, he just holds your gaze, and you see none of the formality or the comfort of an answer. He just looks back at you with the ambiguity and the unbalking gaze, at the unanswered and the mystery of it all, the way that Boz always did. [00:41:38] Speaker E: Yeah, [00:41:44] Speaker B: He just stares at you. He doesn't break the gaze. [00:41:47] Speaker E: Yeah, just squeezes his hand and, and thank you. [00:41:55] Speaker B: Craig does likewise and says, I love you. And Baz just nods. And from a distance away, Tello nods and Baws too. Rongrim hugs Rewoo. Ueg hugs her and whispers something in her ear. She hugs him back. Janice or Shavian? [00:42:36] Speaker D: I already hugged Weebo. [00:42:39] Speaker A: I, I, I, I think I've done what? [00:42:45] Speaker B: She just smiles and she looks at only Javion when she says, kill him. [00:42:55] Speaker D: Okay, but what about me? [00:42:57] Speaker B: She's only looking at shaving Janice. [00:43:03] Speaker A: If you say so. [00:43:07] Speaker B: She smiles in a very Han and Leia, I love you. I know. Kind of moment. Janice. With one stroke, the symbol connection, there's a flare of power and they both just disappear, transported around the world. [00:43:29] Speaker E: Janice took our buddies away. [00:43:34] Speaker B: I now have a time of night. Don't worry about it too much. Just keep going. [00:43:39] Speaker D: I now have a, A DND question. A DM question. [00:43:46] Speaker E: Dungeons and Dragons question, if you will. [00:43:50] Speaker D: Okay. When we cast this stuff, then we get a long rest. Is that correct? [00:44:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:44:00] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I was gonna. [00:44:01] Speaker D: And then, and then in the long rest. How long is rest that we're doing? [00:44:08] Speaker B: Sorry? [00:44:11] Speaker D: How long is a long rest and how long they. How long can we push it for? [00:44:18] Speaker B: A long rest is eight hours. Are you asking me how long you can push the rest? [00:44:23] Speaker D: Or, like, could you do it shorter and still get along? Seven hours, 45 minutes. [00:44:28] Speaker C: Seven hours and 45 minutes. It was 15 minutes, Zach. [00:44:32] Speaker D: Okay, other question, Other question. Just, just for me, if I were to, like, do like, an aid or something, or a death ward, it's only for eight hours. Does that mean that it takes it that long to cast it and then it's there. [00:44:50] Speaker C: It. That's the. [00:44:52] Speaker A: No, you cast eight in the morning. [00:44:55] Speaker B: Yeah. You're gonna want that closer to. [00:44:58] Speaker C: Okay. [00:44:58] Speaker B: If you cast it now, it won't hold over. [00:45:01] Speaker D: Okay. Okay, perfect. That's what I wanted to know. [00:45:03] Speaker C: Same for, like, death ward, right? If I want to death. Yeah, I need to do that right before. But here is here. 24 hours. [00:45:10] Speaker D: 24 hours. I was just making sure that I wasn't missing casting those things for you for sure. [00:45:18] Speaker B: No, that is a super valid question. [00:45:20] Speaker D: Thank you so much. [00:45:21] Speaker B: The party takes a painful time waiting and breathing. There's some more crying on one side of what has to be the most emotional day ever. Just. Just the best worst day ever. And soon enough, the party sits down on a beach as an encrusted goblet is filled with fine wines. Ewing praise over it in the sand before it disintegrates into sand. And from the sand. Rises up a table with little flares of light. Food after food after food after food. Lights. And these eight members total, how many are left of you? [00:46:29] Speaker D: All? Eight. [00:46:31] Speaker C: Don't say it like that. [00:46:33] Speaker D: There's only six, right? [00:46:35] Speaker C: Wait, really? [00:46:37] Speaker D: Seven. Eight. Eight. You're right. [00:46:40] Speaker B: Tell Greta. [00:46:41] Speaker D: I got it. [00:46:42] Speaker B: Tell Craig. Yeah, yeah. Eight. [00:46:46] Speaker D: Yep. [00:46:48] Speaker B: No, as the eight. Okay. [00:46:50] Speaker C: Four. No, there's nine of y'. [00:46:55] Speaker D: All. [00:46:55] Speaker B: Hold on, hold on. Just because if I don't. Now that I've brought this out, this technicality up, if we don't correct, like, none of us are gonna know. Row. Craig Tello, Greta, Janice Javian, Rongrim, UEG 8. So as these eight final defenders of Yalovun, who shortly ago were 10, who shortly before that were 15, who shortly before that were 40 or 50. These eight final defenders, the same week that shifts, that was defeated. Sit down. Yes, absolutely. Abby, sit down in front of this, like, sort of very low table. It's not like a high seated table. It's like one that you could, like, sit and eat at. Sit on the ground. And all across it are honey bread and rouse stew and Livy's stew. A bowl of. A massive bowl of completely unseasoned lettuce for you. Egg. [00:48:11] Speaker C: I take some. [00:48:13] Speaker D: Can we get the. What? Andrea? When we were in chocolate, there was. There was a French chalk thing that you would always order. [00:48:26] Speaker A: Oh, croissants. [00:48:31] Speaker D: There. [00:48:34] Speaker B: Only you don't pronounce any of the letters. So it's just then. [00:48:41] Speaker A: No, that's not exact. No, you pronounce some of them in French. It's not the last one. [00:48:45] Speaker B: No, I learned this recently. Say any of the letters. [00:48:51] Speaker C: And so could I have requested some cupcakes from Zedge? [00:48:55] Speaker B: And there are Zian, There's Edgian cakes. And then whatever it was that was being sold by that one vendor lady in Home Cove that Greta should call those cupcakes. And she was like, get out of my face. And foods from all across Your time and your travels physically and. And disgusting. Hardtack fish sandwiches and good berry jam on those and goodberry jam and weirdly, a fish soda and no [00:49:30] Speaker C: carbonation hasn't been invented yet. [00:49:34] Speaker B: And exhausted and spent from one hell of a day, the party eats. And it's surprisingly quiet for the most part. There's not a ton to say right now is everyone's so worn out and spent. The party eats. And not a. Not a. Not a grim, despondent, but a deeply somber awareness us of what lies before you. The party East. [00:50:11] Speaker D: I think I would have ate next to Shavan so we could have our little conversation. [00:50:19] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:50:20] Speaker A: I think. [00:50:20] Speaker E: Really? I think that as. [00:50:24] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, [00:50:29] Speaker E: I do think that. I don't know, man. Yeah, I think that she would. And I don't really want to roleplay this, but I. I think just very briefly, Greta would call someone at home. I think she would kind of reconsider because she does have, like, a ton of family at home. And I think she'd probably think of one of her, like, young nieces or nephews. That was her favorite. Just kind of like, have a really. Have a hard time explaining how her voice is appearing in their head. And then just she's, like, overcome by this. By this, like, desire to. For someone to know where she is and if she never comes back. I think she's always assumed that she would go back. Like. Like, she's always kind of felt like a little bit like a teenager who, like, leaves. And then it's like, yeah, but I'm probably like, I'm just on a gap year. And she's like, wow, I might not go back. So I think she just calls, like, one of her, like, sister's kids or something and just tries to do her best to, like, just not give any details and not be like, oh, I'm part of the world ending. [00:51:48] Speaker B: But, like, sure, sure, yeah. [00:51:51] Speaker E: Tells one of her more curious pieces and. And drop drops some names and tells her to poke around next time she's in Warm. It's really awkward and, like, clumsy and. And Greta leaves it feeling like she did more harm than good, but. But it just felt like something she needed to do. [00:52:17] Speaker B: The main thing the conversation gets hooked on is for a while, you just have to calm the niece down because she thinks she's having some sort of hallucination. And then you have to convince her that, unlike what most of the family has believed for many years now, you are not dead. But as you guys work through those pieces, you get the feeling that your brave and curious niece will relay to the remaining family that you're apparently alive and doing something important. [00:52:53] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:52:55] Speaker B: You leave the message with her. [00:52:57] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:52:59] Speaker B: Was there a Janice Shavian thing? [00:53:02] Speaker C: Okay. [00:53:04] Speaker B: As everybody's eating, [00:53:10] Speaker D: We just sat down next to you. Kind of been a little like more nonchalant obviously. I've been like very rigid today. But I'm finally I think tired enough and like emotionally exhausted enough to just kind of like almost like slump. Like not too bad but just like. Like kind of like going back to like whatever you could call this home. You know, the two of us. [00:53:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're like sitting on the ground like cross legged and like our knees are touching. [00:53:48] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:53:50] Speaker A: And then I. I think he kind of says it quags and it's everyone to hear but it's not like he's like whispering it. Cuz like now that we was not here, he's okay. So he just. He's. He just like says out. He just says. I think I died again [00:54:10] Speaker B: when we were came down. [00:54:14] Speaker D: That's like three times, isn't it? [00:54:18] Speaker A: Yes. Enough to make a pattern. [00:54:26] Speaker D: We should try to not make it a pattern. [00:54:30] Speaker C: I. [00:54:33] Speaker A: God, I don't want to die. [00:54:34] Speaker C: I. [00:54:36] Speaker A: For so. For so long. I never wanted to. But it felt inevitable with him. Like there's no way out. [00:54:54] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:54:54] Speaker A: But I promise, Mira. I promise. We woo. Gotta. Gotta make this through it. [00:55:03] Speaker D: I mean we've been through so much together. I. I think that you know exactly what you need to do and what I need to do and we just need to. We just need to work together like with everybody. I have no idea if I'm being honest, how we're about to do this. [00:55:32] Speaker B: Actually [00:55:36] Speaker A: there's no one else who'd rather have on my side. You're extremely capable. [00:55:43] Speaker D: You are too. You're one of the strongest people I know. I'm so glad we had this experience. Even though it hasn't always been the best. [00:56:00] Speaker A: If I hadn't met you, [00:56:03] Speaker D: if you hadn't thrown up on me, [00:56:08] Speaker A: maybe [00:56:12] Speaker D: tough [00:56:12] Speaker A: time it was happening yet. [00:56:15] Speaker D: Yeah. But gosh, that was such a lifetime ago. Literally. [00:56:26] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:56:27] Speaker B: I've died twice since then [00:56:31] Speaker A: and get it. [00:56:37] Speaker C: This. [00:56:37] Speaker A: This may sound crazy, but I shouldn't have enough data points to stick this. But I feel like. I don't know it's you. The. The maker. I. I felt his magic pull me back this time. And not just like when it was Ue's magic that pulled me back and then the maker assisted that. But it almost feels like it was. I don't know Like Shodder to come back, if that makes sense. I don't know. I just. [00:57:18] Speaker D: No. [00:57:18] Speaker A: Even with QA killing, I'm terrified every. Every fight we're in. Is it the biggest fight possible in the world? [00:57:31] Speaker D: Yeah, this one really might be. Maybe we can just have me die or something instead of you. That. No, no, that's a better chance. We have a better chance of getting me back. Haven't. I haven't actually died yet, [00:57:48] Speaker C: but knock on wood. Knock on wood. [00:57:50] Speaker B: No. [00:57:56] Speaker D: As we have more healers, I mean, I think we are going into this as ready as we would ever be. I don't think that there's anybody in this world that would be better to fight with. These are all of our friends now. Family, really. Regardless, we're doing this all together, so. [00:58:23] Speaker A: Finally get to be in a full on fight with the fun guys. You and Wrong Green have left me out so far. [00:58:30] Speaker D: You know, right time. Right time. [00:58:33] Speaker A: Yeah. Saving it. [00:58:38] Speaker D: I will. We will see each other on the other side. We have too much other things to do. [00:58:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:58:51] Speaker D: I'll just kind of probably sit in silence maybe. [00:58:53] Speaker A: Still so young. So much left to see. [00:59:00] Speaker D: Me too. [00:59:03] Speaker A: I mean, we haven't visited every continent yet. [00:59:06] Speaker D: No. We have a couple more places. [00:59:11] Speaker A: It'll be fun to take a few. You know, take some people. Like see Choskin in. You know, like show people around. [00:59:20] Speaker D: Maybe we just leave that one kind of quiet, I think. [00:59:23] Speaker A: Okay. That's fair. There's other places. [00:59:27] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. We. We got this. There's. There's no doubt, [00:59:43] Speaker A: apparently we're. Yeah. That the dragons think we can do it. [00:59:52] Speaker D: Except we don't have ber. [00:59:57] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [00:59:58] Speaker A: At least this time we'll be fighting under a mountain and not on top of one. [01:00:06] Speaker D: That was crazy. [01:00:07] Speaker A: Yeah. But also more of us can fly now. [01:00:10] Speaker D: And honestly, dragons have a really bad record with. You should be more scared. [01:00:17] Speaker A: Sorry, bad record with what? [01:00:20] Speaker D: We have a better record with dragons. So they should be scared of us instead. [01:00:29] Speaker A: We've probably met the most dragons of anyone alive. [01:00:36] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:00:39] Speaker B: As Javian and Janice move from meaningful conversation into the comfortable reminiscence of just trying to feel like the friends who started all this. Well, didn't start as friends, but as you all just try to feel like the people you once were, you continue to work on your meals. And unless anyone else has any roleplay moments they'd really like to have hit you all eat quietly for 20, 30 minutes and the meal starts to dissolve in front of you. UEG was the caster of this, correct? [01:01:26] Speaker D: Yes. Okay. [01:01:29] Speaker B: I Believe you have two D10 to roll. Cara. [01:01:32] Speaker D: You do two D10. [01:01:40] Speaker B: These are the additional hit points the party will have for the fight. [01:01:45] Speaker D: That was a good roll. 15, [01:01:51] Speaker B: girl. [01:01:55] Speaker A: With the way this spell works, Are they temporary hit points or raising the maximum? [01:02:07] Speaker B: They are temporary hit points. [01:02:10] Speaker A: Yes. Okay. [01:02:11] Speaker D: And so just for everybody's information, you are cured of all diseases and become immune to poison. And being frightened, you also get to make all wisdom saving throws with advantage. And then your hit point maximum increases by 2d10. [01:02:32] Speaker B: Your hit point max. Excuse me, Excuse me. Yeah, that's right. Not temporary hit points. Hit point max is increased. That's right. That's why heroes feast is so good. [01:02:47] Speaker E: We're just so. Remember, we're immune. Immune to poisoning in the general chat for everyone. [01:02:55] Speaker B: Yeah. Immune to poison. You can't be frightened. You have advantage and wisdom saving throws. Your hit point max has now increased by 15. [01:03:06] Speaker E: That's crazy. [01:03:07] Speaker B: The next 24 hours. Yeah. All wisdom saving throws. [01:03:14] Speaker C: Great. [01:03:14] Speaker E: Thank you. I'm so glad that Boz got those chalices. [01:03:20] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:03:23] Speaker A: That is a very. That was a very nice little setting us up. And also that. Yeah. Hit with Max is better than tip because of the way. [01:03:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:03:36] Speaker A: And healing. Yeah. And so like someone's like. And you know, Xavier didn't even know know that there was something wrong with his. T was like oh. Like oh, a pain's gone. Kills all diseases. [01:03:52] Speaker E: We didn't know he had all the different wounds. [01:03:54] Speaker B: And someone who had a cold is like resolved of it. [01:03:58] Speaker D: And is the party UX hit point max? [01:04:01] Speaker A: Yeah, you two. [01:04:02] Speaker D: Wait. UX hit point max is 328. [01:04:09] Speaker B: Yeah, that means. That means that wrong. Grim's hit point max is currently more 338, I think. Yeah. And so is the party is invigorated. Now remember that Max will reduce after the 24 hours just for. [01:04:29] Speaker E: I know. [01:04:33] Speaker B: The party is invigorated by magic. And as you all prepare for the grim task ahead, Senva remains with you in Kala class with you as well. But Yana leaves, she raises her wings, flies away from some part of the beach and further up toward the peak of the caldera. [01:05:09] Speaker E: Where is she going? Do you know? [01:05:13] Speaker B: He turns his head and he looks at you and he says. He like cocks his head curiously and he says to. We're taking you to the Bitterlands. [01:05:26] Speaker D: No. [01:05:28] Speaker E: Yeah. Yes. Yes. [01:05:31] Speaker B: I was just gonna gather just together the dragons. [01:05:39] Speaker E: So. Okay, there's more than three. [01:05:44] Speaker B: And from further up on the aisle, you all hear one more. [01:05:51] Speaker D: This is crazy [01:05:55] Speaker B: roar that cracks like Rolling thunder before the entire mountain. Shakes again. And you all hear a great continuous shattering. And then you all realize that [01:06:21] Speaker D: Abby [01:06:21] Speaker B: just message in the chat. Cara's chewing. [01:06:25] Speaker D: I can't pieces off this. [01:06:28] Speaker A: I do think of shattered with dragons. It was my top spell in the Eppen fight. [01:06:33] Speaker E: That is crazy. [01:06:36] Speaker B: And you all suddenly think to the caldera covered in crystal in the rim. [01:06:48] Speaker E: No. [01:06:48] Speaker D: A massive dragon. [01:06:50] Speaker B: Oh, if you had to protect dragons for thousands of years, you'd want to keep them nearby. Something that could sustain their life for all that time. And you all watch as this great shape is returning, flying back down toward you all. It gleams in the light. That must be Yana. And then. Another comes behind her to the right. [01:07:18] Speaker E: That's dragons. [01:07:21] Speaker B: And then. And there begins to be this sound like a storm continuously rolling in from all of the overlapping wing beats. And it is not moments on the shore before you all watch. 2, 3. Hundred dragons. How many fill the sky? [01:08:12] Speaker A: Three hundred. [01:08:15] Speaker B: It's hard to count over our heads. Warming, overlapping bodies from. One of them crashes into the water and explodes back up out of it, feeling his wings for the first time in thousands of years. This immense bronze dragon. His. His skin glittering like gold with streaks of green. His wings flap as he roars outward. Another, a black dragon with horns that break and turn upward into gold tips that bleed down his face. Face and down from his eyes. His wings are filled with holes the way the black dragons do. But wherever there's a hole, it's filled in with gold filament and like new tissue. And where he flies as he flaps his wing, little pellets of gold trinkle off of it. And he roars through the sky and greens and reds and whites, silver and gold and copper. You watch one dragon who. His horns float away from his head and as he moves, they move a second after him. The pieces of his clawed feet are only connected by the force of gravity. He is semi translucent, entirely blue. As a dragon made entirely of blue sapphire flies to the sky. And as he calls, it's this. This echoing sound. Another. This dragon. She flies. She is this brilliant gold. Her neck long and like twisting. And her wings are backward on her body. Her wings face forward and they fly in reverse. Reverse motion. As. As the displacing of the forces of physics simply carry the topaz dragon with her brilliant wings in between the digits. If you want references, you guys can look in Fizbons and in the monster manual and feel free to google the dragons if you like. It's too many reference images to send. But she's like warping reality around her as she flies. And her call sounds like the inverted call of someone playing a dragon's call. Up, backward and upward, upside down. A fully crystal dragon that looks like a brontosaurus with great mounds of clear mineral growing out of its gemstone head, with gravitortal feet and massive beating wings moves by. And she just calls. And hundreds of dragons, each of them traced and laced with fragments of gold, fill the sky. You are surrounded by a din of noise that's hard to comprehend. You can't hardly cure yourselves. Think sand whips around on the, on the beach and the water moves back and forth. The power of their wing beats overcoming the tides. As hundreds of dragons fill the space around you. Many ancient, but many adults, some even looking young. [01:11:39] Speaker D: Wow. [01:11:40] Speaker B: And hundreds of dragons begin especially down in the water, landing on the beach all around you. And soon enough you all are surrounded by an army of of dragons while sit and stare at you. They speak to each other, many in eldest common, others in deepest speech, others in draconic. Sorry Greta, go ahead. [01:12:09] Speaker E: Greta has to sit down [01:12:13] Speaker D: as I think we might be in a little over our head. [01:12:17] Speaker E: Yeah, she just, she like can't. This is so shocking. She sits down on the sand and just like looks at them all. [01:12:27] Speaker A: Despite all the dragon related trauma, Jian, it still is definitely just like, like going like between all of them. They're just like like in fascination as well. About like there's so many types and also just like, you know, so many. Just like, yeah, like just overloaded, trying like stimuli. [01:12:51] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:12:51] Speaker B: Oh yeah. Every once in a while, when you guys think you've calmed down and adjusted to the sound, there's another booming crash as a dragon lets a bolt of lightning up into the sky. 1. One massive female red dragon swoops over the ocean like a thousand feet away from you all just enjoying her freedom and movement again and just starts burning, burning, sublimating ocean water with fire. As she banks back and forth, feeling the power and freedom of her movement. [01:13:23] Speaker E: Is. [01:13:24] Speaker D: This is Yana back with us. [01:13:27] Speaker B: And Yana lands in the midst of them all, towering over any of the others, though there are a couple others. There's a gold dragon who's not too much smaller than her, but she lands larger than all others and sits up to her full height now towering. And she lands. All the dragons gather and land around her one by one. [01:13:49] Speaker D: Yana, how many are there? [01:13:53] Speaker B: Her huge head turns and looks down at you and she smiles. She says simply, many more. [01:14:02] Speaker C: Wow. [01:14:02] Speaker D: Have they Just been waiting. Waiting. [01:14:06] Speaker B: We all have. [01:14:09] Speaker C: Is. [01:14:10] Speaker A: Is this why dragons have been common for millennia? Like, did most of them choose to wait? [01:14:21] Speaker B: She nods. [01:14:28] Speaker C: You all are so beautiful, truly. [01:14:34] Speaker B: There's. There's a lot of blank stares, there's chuckling from all around you, their responses and draconic that you can't understand. And it's this bizarre moment where you all are just. It's like being surrounded by T. Rexes who are all sentient and talk and think and we're all just staring at you all when you. It's bizarre to be the center of attention around an army of dragons. Some are like laughing and wrestling and playing with each other, but it sounds like a movie blockbuster of action and sound and thundering power. But they're all slowing down and stopping and waiting and falling into attention and becoming this council gathered around. Around you and. Go ahead. [01:15:26] Speaker E: I look at Yana, I say, have. Have they been asleep the whole time? [01:15:34] Speaker B: She just nods. [01:15:36] Speaker D: Oh, what. What should our plan be? [01:15:45] Speaker B: Sva or Sinva chimes back in and she says we ride [01:15:53] Speaker D: and we will ferry you to the mountain. [01:15:56] Speaker B: We will fight his forces and these chosen implements of Yah must face the one who comes to burn it all down. And Kalakla blast chimes back in and he says obviously if any of us can break away from our forces to come help you, we will. [01:16:28] Speaker D: So they will be fighting the auxiliary things. Is that what like did from that? [01:16:33] Speaker B: Certainly what it sounds like. Also. I'm sorry, my audio is cutting in and out a ton, but I think it's. That's me on my side. You guys can just role play for two seconds. I'm gonna leave the call and rejoin real quick and see if it helps. [01:16:45] Speaker A: Well, you see, we're going to the boss battle and they're handling everyone else while we handle the boss. [01:16:54] Speaker D: Yeah. I fear that Ro looks at like [01:16:58] Speaker C: Yana and Caliclass and several of the others closer and she says I've been terrified this whole time and thing these numbers terrifies me. For the fight we're going to to need all of your strength. But seeing all you. Also makes me feel more hopeful than I have in a bit. [01:17:31] Speaker B: Nearby, a long serpentine green dragon who has tears of gold coming down from her eyes in this massive blur of smoke, transforms into a human woman. Shape change. And she looks at you. And in an older common, but a common nonetheless. Actually no, she wouldn't speak your language at all. You watch as she casts tongue upon herself, tongues upon herself, so she can respond to you. [01:18:05] Speaker C: She says oh, okay. [01:18:07] Speaker B: And she says, you should be afraid if you're not afraid. We have the wrong ones, but we'll all be there together. Yana sits back on her hind legs and she lifts up her arms and she begins tracing glyphs in the air and speaking in the deepest speech. And there is a flare of brilliant gold light as Janice. You recognize her casting greater creation and weaving together on the beach. And she goes, we're gonna throw here. It's a really big transition. [01:18:58] Speaker A: We are hitting. [01:19:03] Speaker D: Sorry. [01:19:04] Speaker E: Okay. [01:19:04] Speaker B: It was funny. She forms in the sand in front of her. It. It falls this immense. She reorients atoms and materials in the world in front of her to create this like 20 foot long, 15 foot wide saddle. [01:19:27] Speaker A: Whoa. [01:19:28] Speaker B: Made out of metal and leather. Falls into the hand. She leans forward, coming back down to all fours. And she says, bow your heads. [01:19:46] Speaker D: I'll do it immediately. [01:19:48] Speaker C: Okay. [01:19:48] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:19:49] Speaker B: The sand vibrates as she speaks. And as she raises her incredible. As her hand, her massive clawed hand raises up over all of you. The sand like sifts out of the way in front of her power and you all. The sun gets blocked as all of you are in the shadow beneath her. Her foot, hand, multipurpose structure. And as it layers over you, there's this golden light. And then this gout of gold fire pours over you all. It burns hot and you all shudder before you blink hard in each of your first breaths. His account is accompanied by a little gout of gold fire. You will receive the blessing of the keeper. And for the next 24 hours, anytime you all deal attack with fire damage, it can be first flame instead and will instead deal radiant damage. [01:20:49] Speaker D: Wow. Wow. [01:20:57] Speaker E: Anytime we deal fire juice. [01:21:00] Speaker A: Fire. [01:21:01] Speaker B: Never mind it's radiant. [01:21:10] Speaker A: It's now holy fire. Oh. So then if you cast. Oh, what's that? What's that one spell? I think Abby said she has it. The. The column of fire. Yeah. Doesn't that cast both fire and radiant and now be all radiant? [01:21:26] Speaker B: I think it's all fire. [01:21:28] Speaker A: Oh, there's one that's half power, half radiant. [01:21:30] Speaker B: Maybe it's not that I can't remember what it is. Anywho, yellow lays down in the sand and multiple dragons who can stand up on their hind limbs and have preencile hands. They pick up the saddle and adhere it over her back and buckle it around her section with this. Then thunderous. And they literally, like some of the dragons, hold their hands out like steps because she's too massive for you all to climb up the side. She lays down beckoning that you all will be writing her entire. [01:22:08] Speaker A: I zoned out. Who are we writing? [01:22:12] Speaker C: Yana. [01:22:13] Speaker A: Yeah, we are writing Yana. Okay, [01:22:18] Speaker B: do you all climb aboard? [01:22:21] Speaker C: Nah, I stay on the beach. Yes. [01:22:24] Speaker D: As I climb aboard, I'm gonna just say, like, thank you, cousin. [01:22:30] Speaker C: Oh. [01:22:34] Speaker B: Each of you, one by one, climb into the incredible saddle. Bye, Abby. Good night. You all climb one by one into the immense saddle aboard the Platinum Great Worm. And as you all reach in, each of the dragons stands back. And slowly but surely, one by one, there's a dislike. As you all sit down, another one of the dragons kind of raises a hand and speaks. And many, not all, but many of these dragons are spellcasters. And this incredibly large version of Liam's tiny hut. Liam's massive hut. [01:23:20] Speaker D: Oh. [01:23:22] Speaker B: Flares to life over the saddle to protect you guys from, like, you know, 100 mile an hour winds. And you all are suddenly in this sphere where sound echoes very slightly. And each of you guys kind of braces and find something to hold on to all of your weapons and gear with you. And Yana turns her head back over her shoulder, sunlight gleaming blindingly off of her head. And she just says, keep thinking. [01:23:54] Speaker C: It's nighttime. [01:23:56] Speaker B: Hold on. And her massive wings unfurl and she lets out one more. All the other dragons begin taking off. And there's one massive. And all of the. You all, like, fall backward, holding on to things as she launches off of the beach. And the defenders of Yalabran are whisked into the air on the back of the world's largest, most powerful dragon, accompanied by a few hundred others as they launch into the sky. You all climb and climb and climb until the brilliant light and color of the deep well grows small behind you as you move further and further in the sky on this army of dragons experiencing something no mortal from any age, not even from the Platinum Age, has ever known. Slowly but surely, that bright sun above you starts to give way to the dark gray clouds ahead, as once more, you all head into the endless storm. It takes time. Time before anyone in the party can sleep. Time before anyone can find rest. One, because holy crap, holy crap, holy crap, holy crap, holy crap. The most adrenaline you've ever felt in this. [01:25:46] Speaker D: We've already been on dragons, that's true. [01:25:50] Speaker B: And we've been talking like this, though [01:25:51] Speaker C: we've been on Valette. [01:25:53] Speaker D: No, but I think that that one moment. I think that one moment when we had first, like, our. Yes, Cool. Like, this is like, sick. [01:26:05] Speaker A: I. Yeah, I think Shavian's like. He's like off the side. Like, he. He loves lying. [01:26:10] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:26:13] Speaker B: I think Ro likes ride and marvel. I mean, you know, you all have a myriad of complex feelings, and maybe you're just marveled the whole time that, holy crap, there. You didn't know there was many dragons in the world, let alone that you're all flying together in some. [01:26:29] Speaker D: I definitely have to, like, challenge myself to go to sleep because, like, I know that I need to. [01:26:35] Speaker B: But what aids you all desperately is [01:26:38] Speaker A: the [01:26:41] Speaker B: incredible exhaustion of this endless day in this brutal week. Some of you all nurse serious emotional wounds. Some of you all are grappling with loss. Some of you died today. And what greatly helps overcome the wonder of this moment is just the complete, desperate tire of it all. Slowly but surely, you all, one by one, fall out. [01:27:13] Speaker C: Can I say before I fall asleep, we don't have to roleplay it, but before I fall asleep, I do. I tell Tello and Craig to hold on to me because I'm Nerf, but I. I do trance into dream and I go say hi to Thespis. [01:27:32] Speaker B: We are going to roleplay that for one moment. [01:27:34] Speaker C: Okay? [01:27:35] Speaker B: Just for a second. [01:27:36] Speaker C: I'm trying to help move it along. [01:27:39] Speaker B: And in the midst of this, we'll take. We'll take a tiny moment for this. In the middle of all of this, Ro, all the dark clouds transition to lighter, vaguer mistakes. And you appear in a space where you see an elven man with dirty, curly hair or wavy hair, face down, laying still, his face completely buried in this cloudy mist as he's just. He's asleep inside of the dream. [01:28:11] Speaker C: That's so funny. [01:28:16] Speaker A: I [01:28:19] Speaker C: slow. Like, I gently walk over to him and like. Sorry. [01:28:28] Speaker B: What's up, man? You got. Hey, love. Sorry. [01:28:33] Speaker C: Asleep in my tr. Never mind. [01:28:35] Speaker B: I don't know, dude. You're the one in charge of these magics. [01:28:38] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:28:40] Speaker D: Oh, sorry. [01:28:40] Speaker B: Hi. [01:28:41] Speaker C: Hi. [01:28:42] Speaker B: It's good to see you. You guys aren't dead. [01:28:45] Speaker C: Not. Yeah, yeah. [01:28:48] Speaker B: Well, don't say it like that. [01:28:49] Speaker C: Yeah, didn't mean to. We're on our way to the Bitterlands. I don't know if Spaghuber told you. I think you were still asleep. But. [01:29:02] Speaker B: Wait, are we. [01:29:03] Speaker C: Where to the Bitterlands. Where. Where he's waiting or where he's at? Oh, yeah, we didn't have. [01:29:16] Speaker B: Sorry. [01:29:17] Speaker C: The timetable moved up. [01:29:20] Speaker B: Oh, Ro, I'm. [01:29:22] Speaker D: That's. [01:29:22] Speaker B: I'm sorry. That's really hard. [01:29:25] Speaker C: No, I'm actually funny enough. I'm flying through the air right now. Now, while I'm casting this and talking [01:29:35] Speaker B: to you, you have Some incredible magic. [01:29:38] Speaker C: No, on a ginormous, ancient, beautiful crystal, like dragon with like hundreds of other dragons in the air. And I know that sounds absolutely crazy, but she. She moves the. She like does a wave of her hand and the dream shows what is in the sky with all the dragons. [01:30:01] Speaker B: You just go slap. No, that's crazy. [01:30:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:30:07] Speaker C: They're. They're going to help us fight. Yeah. I. I couldn't have come up with this on my own imagination. [01:30:15] Speaker B: Stay alone. [01:30:17] Speaker C: Yeah. I just wanted to see you one last time before. [01:30:26] Speaker B: You know, he like, looks at you and then tries to look away from the image of the dragons and then tries to focus on you, but then looks. I'm sorry, could you. [01:30:35] Speaker C: I wipe it back to the purple clouds. [01:30:37] Speaker B: The clouds come back and he goes. Okay, sorry, sorry. I'm focused. [01:30:40] Speaker C: No, that's okay. I understand. [01:30:45] Speaker B: I mean, yeah, we just got started. [01:30:50] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:30:51] Speaker C: Yeah, [01:30:56] Speaker D: I am. [01:31:00] Speaker B: We've barely been doing this. I don't know how to react. [01:31:04] Speaker E: Just [01:31:07] Speaker C: take care of Spaghuber and Nom and F. Moon. [01:31:14] Speaker B: Always. [01:31:20] Speaker C: I plan on seeing you again. [01:31:24] Speaker B: What do you want for your birthday? [01:31:36] Speaker C: Just for there to be a world to celebrate in. [01:31:39] Speaker B: Well, sure. [01:31:40] Speaker D: That's a given. [01:31:40] Speaker B: So what do you want? [01:31:51] Speaker C: Ah, just. Cupcake and my friends. And. You. Yeah. [01:32:06] Speaker B: He gets a big kind of like sheepish smile and he gives you a big hug. He sets you down and he goes. I don't know what cupcake is, but I'll ask Goober. [01:32:18] Speaker C: It's really good there in Z. [01:32:22] Speaker B: We'll be sure to. [01:32:23] Speaker C: I'll take you there to try them when we're back. Yeah. [01:32:28] Speaker B: We should do some fun things when this is all over. [01:32:31] Speaker C: Definitely some things without high stakes. [01:32:40] Speaker B: You know, Ro, I. I bet that you've had a lot of hard moments today. [01:32:46] Speaker C: Let's. [01:32:48] Speaker B: This doesn't have to be one. [01:32:50] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:32:51] Speaker B: You mean a lot to me. I hope I mean a lot to you. You're doing this, so clearly he gets a little. A little embarrassed. [01:33:02] Speaker C: This is actually like the third dream I went into tonight. I'm kidding. It's a joke. It's not. [01:33:12] Speaker B: I know. [01:33:13] Speaker D: Wow. [01:33:13] Speaker B: We're not good at this. So point being, let's just leave it at I care about you very much and you gotta come back so I can help with your birthday. [01:33:28] Speaker C: Yeah. And she. She like waves her hands and like she casts like she can cast plant growth in her dream and she casts plant growth and it's like this, like clover and like purple flowers, like her hair. And it raises her up and she is like his Height. And she. She kisses him. [01:33:52] Speaker B: He kisses you back warmly and steps back and he goes, I mean, you have to make it back. We need to do more of that. [01:34:00] Speaker A: So. [01:34:01] Speaker C: Yeah, definitely. And not just in, you know, dream world. Okay. [01:34:07] Speaker B: And, [01:34:10] Speaker C: yeah, I better. I better get going to get some rest. I'll see you in a few days. [01:34:18] Speaker B: A look of real sadness takes his face for a second. He's kind of having trouble not showing it, but then he nods and he goes, you look cute when you're on your way to save the world. [01:34:30] Speaker C: Thanks. It's, you know, dream, dream, row. [01:34:38] Speaker B: Okay, I'll see you soon. [01:34:41] Speaker D: Roll. [01:34:41] Speaker C: Yeah, sleep well. [01:34:43] Speaker B: And she just like you watch as his image dissolves away. And then I think and so everyone sleep. Yeah, everyone rests and sleeps, We'll say, under the undulating, heavy rhythm. The crashing din of noise from all around you from the storm and the beating wings would be impossible to sleep through. But you all start to realize that that reverberating quality of that sphere around you, of that. That objective magic, it's. It's dulling the noise. This is the sort of experience that would be impossible to get a long rest through if you weren't medically exhausted, which fortunately, all of you are. And so you all sleep like rocks [01:35:45] Speaker D: until we'll say, what kind of rock? [01:35:50] Speaker C: You gotta tell us that. [01:35:53] Speaker B: We'll say, it's Janice who wakes up first. [01:35:56] Speaker D: Oh, God. [01:35:57] Speaker B: Joins door from the awkward moving sleep before you have to crack some of your joints and feel the relief. And you sit up not to light, but to darkness for a moment. You sit up with a start and panic a little bit as you move up and then down and there's crashing noise of. But then you remember where you are and what's happening and you blink and you can't hardly see, see, it's nearly black all around you. You can barely make out, even with your dark vision, the reflective colors of the dragons around you, picking what little light there is and reflecting it off either of their metallic scales or of the gold dotted through them. You still hear the many wing beats and you feel like you've slept much less for eight hours and probably more for like 1314, as these dragons have flown across much of the world. And you look around and you see that you're the first of your allies to have awakened. [01:37:08] Speaker D: Can I. It is the tiny hut, Is it. Can I see through it, like, pretty well? Or is it kind of like milky? [01:37:16] Speaker B: It's almost completely transparent. [01:37:18] Speaker D: Can I even see, like, the stars? [01:37:21] Speaker B: Because it's nighttime, You See nothing. It is dark cloud above. As you all have left behind that brief pocket. We're back in the storm. And you're. And you all. You all have been in this endless storm for the better part of a day. [01:37:42] Speaker D: Um, Is there anything else I can do? I don't even know. [01:37:51] Speaker B: It's darkness and thunderous noise. [01:37:57] Speaker D: I'm gonna message Yana. [01:38:00] Speaker B: Okay, I forgot you had that cantrip. Okay. [01:38:08] Speaker D: Yana, where are we? I just woke up. [01:38:13] Speaker B: There's a pause before the voice responds. In your mind. We near the Betterlands. [01:38:21] Speaker D: Are you able to see? [01:38:25] Speaker B: Many of us have true sight, which is not impeded by darkness or obstacle. We arrive at the land soon. [01:38:37] Speaker D: Okay, thank you. [01:38:41] Speaker B: And you can see that on the edges of the barrier, where little licks of moisture are. And you. You all are moving. It's worth saying that there's this dim from the outside of the massive hut. You all are moving incredibly fast. You are flying as fast as this ancient metallic worm can carry you. This great worm. And where moisture is streaking on the sides of the hut, it's freezing solid and then breaking off from the friction of the air. You're in a very cold environment and you are starting to recall that hellish cold of the Bitterlands. [01:39:27] Speaker D: I'll go around and wake everybody up, but try not to like startle them, like wake them up as easily as possible just so that everybody can. [01:39:39] Speaker B: One by one, each of the members awakens. On this eve of the end of [01:39:45] Speaker D: everything, I'll tell them that we're near. [01:39:48] Speaker C: Okay, [01:39:56] Speaker D: Does anybody need anything? Or. [01:40:03] Speaker C: I guess if now's the time, if we're gonna do anything, now's the time to do it, isn't it? [01:40:11] Speaker D: Yes. [01:40:14] Speaker A: I'll summon my sword as, like a glow stick. [01:40:19] Speaker D: As we get closer, I think I'll. I'll save some of the stuff for UEG to do. [01:40:26] Speaker B: Sure. Yes. Quite a bit of the actual preppity prep can be next time. [01:40:30] Speaker D: Okay, cool. [01:40:31] Speaker C: Because I figure like, Craig might want to do some blessing or something and stuff like that. Yeah, okay. And that way we won't forget. Yeah, yeah. [01:40:39] Speaker B: There's also going to be a bit of a slightly cinematic dealio before we get into things. [01:40:46] Speaker D: Cool. [01:40:46] Speaker A: Actually, I won't do it with my sword. I'll do it with my circle. [01:40:50] Speaker D: Okay. [01:40:51] Speaker C: With your what? [01:40:51] Speaker B: Your circle? It just. [01:40:54] Speaker C: Oh, your little halo. [01:40:56] Speaker B: Your headband. [01:40:57] Speaker A: Yeah, it is very. It's. It's. It. It is, yeah. It's connected. Yes, yes, but it does glow. No, I'm saying that for Jackie. [01:41:09] Speaker B: You all Are. There's just a grim quiet all around as what was. There's just very little conversation. There's few words to be said wrong. I mean, like people are stretching. People are eating last bits of rations. Some individuals. [01:41:35] Speaker D: Janice is slightly nervous, like jittery same. [01:41:40] Speaker B: The tension, the horrible tension is growing. Is a pit in your stomachs. And even the dragons, you all realize, are silent. There's the thunderous clap of crashing wings all around, but no roaring, no speaking. Everyone's flying in perfect silence. [01:41:59] Speaker C: This may. Oh, can I. This may be silly thing, but is there any way I could look around and see if I see valet? [01:42:08] Speaker B: Yeah, you look all around at near complete perfect darkness. Yeah, [01:42:14] Speaker C: I send to him real quick and just say we're nearing. [01:42:19] Speaker B: Okay. With the stone, right? [01:42:23] Speaker C: Yeah, with the stone. [01:42:24] Speaker B: Yeah. You reach out with the sending stone and you hear. Understand. I am with you all. [01:42:32] Speaker C: This is [01:42:35] Speaker B: really bad and amazing. [01:42:39] Speaker C: My thoughts exactly. [01:42:41] Speaker A: Whoa. [01:42:44] Speaker C: I'm okay. Just. I just wanted to make sure you were to go. [01:42:50] Speaker B: No, we're all going to die together. [01:42:56] Speaker D: He didn't have to say it like that, but it's okay. [01:43:01] Speaker C: Okay, I'll. I'll. Yeah. Godspeed. [01:43:07] Speaker B: The middle of your low backs is growing tight. Your hamstrings are starting to get tension. You all are getting. Some of some people here are getting stress headaches. The weight solidifies. [01:43:22] Speaker D: Sarah is getting a stress headache. [01:43:25] Speaker B: Your heart rates elevate and soon enough, The dragons begin dipping down out of the clouds and you all see dark. It's not clear like day, even though you realize it is day. No longer than 14 hours. They flew through the day and through the night. Oh, it's like you might have been on the aisle later than you realize, but as you blink and focus on your dim waning connection to Ogba Ro, you realize, oh, it's like fat 25th. Wow. Time might have passed a little differently on the forgotten Isle. I slept for almost 24 hours. [01:44:20] Speaker C: Wow. It's. [01:44:23] Speaker B: The dragons flew across the world. You all watch as they dip out of the skies and fall. [01:44:27] Speaker C: Wait, but not. [01:44:31] Speaker D: Not 24 hours. [01:44:32] Speaker C: Not 24 hours. [01:44:34] Speaker B: Well, no, no. About. Because you guys were clearly on the aisle longer than you understood time. [01:44:41] Speaker C: Okay. [01:44:42] Speaker B: And then they flew for longer than a day. Yeah. [01:44:45] Speaker C: Okay. [01:44:47] Speaker A: We didn't sleep 24 hours. [01:44:48] Speaker C: No, I just. I just. [01:44:51] Speaker B: Goodness. And then going back to my serious moment. [01:44:55] Speaker C: That's fine. [01:44:56] Speaker B: The party. Oh, well, because of your. [01:45:00] Speaker C: That's why I was saying it. [01:45:01] Speaker D: That's why I wasn't. [01:45:03] Speaker C: I wasn't. [01:45:04] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. You know, honestly, I'm not even upset. If we ended this campaign and somebody didn't hit me with one last that's not how the rock is, that's not the date, and you said it wrong, it wouldn't even be our campaigns. So honestly, this is just thematically appropriate. And I think I deserve this. I mean, it can still be the [01:45:23] Speaker C: 25th on the island. [01:45:25] Speaker D: Longer dedicated players. [01:45:28] Speaker A: It's like. Exactly. [01:45:28] Speaker B: The dragons dips out of the sky and fall [01:45:35] Speaker D: in this on the 24th. [01:45:37] Speaker B: Grim. [01:45:39] Speaker D: Just kidding. I'm sorry. [01:45:42] Speaker B: You all are playing a dangerous game. [01:45:46] Speaker A: He's adding your hit points. [01:45:49] Speaker B: You don't want me to the dragons dip and fall out of the sky. You all become surrounded in a near complete and perfect silence. Many of the dragons are gliding now, with only occasional beats of the wings. But almost everyone is just gliding down. You all can hear the whipping wind from all around. And you all see all around you, a frigid, miserable, cold expanse, empty, gripped by perfect, bitter death. [01:46:38] Speaker C: No, not that. [01:46:40] Speaker B: Clouds move by you in a blur. [01:46:44] Speaker D: I hate it. [01:46:45] Speaker B: You all see each of the dragons gripped by a grim determination. You all realize that the hour nears, and slowly but surely ahead, in that perfect slate of white everywhere, you all can see little dots of dark color moving across the ice. And far away, you all begin to gather obsidian creatures before finally a shape and a color drops out of the clouds, falling. And you all notice that it has wings which have fire burning from behind it before another. Slowly but surely, you all look up to see 10, 15, 30 obsidian dragons falling out of the sky. Shapes begin moving on the ice, some leading out from nearby mountain range. A number of the dragons begin roaring out defiantly. Some of them begin sparking up fire from around their mouths. And as one army moves toward another one. Oh man, I meant to end it on the it's very hard to time that. There's a delay with Kenku as one army moves toward the other one riding the backs of dragons. That is where we are going to end episodes 182 and 255 of both campaigns. [01:48:51] Speaker C: Yikes. [01:48:52] Speaker B: In seven days we will come back to this. The finale of everything. Seven and five years respectively. [01:49:07] Speaker D: I hate this [01:49:10] Speaker B: listener. Life's an incredible adventure and you're about to be a part of the culmination of a lot of it. Skippity wobbly.
