[00:00:02] Speaker A: Welcome back to Barley D and D. This is your sort of Dungeons and Dragons podcast. It's like a totally Dungeons and Dragons podcast, but less. We have another episode of the Accidental Adventures. And today, because we've been doing this for a long time now, a significant amount of time, maybe not a long time. Abby and Micah are playing from Abby's apartment. Crazy. And Micah's married now, which is. [00:00:29] Speaker B: Yep. [00:00:30] Speaker C: This is the first episode where Craig is actually married. [00:00:36] Speaker A: So everything from here on, how Micah really feels now, she really knows. Full transparency now. It's real role play. [00:00:49] Speaker C: Is that Abby in the background? [00:00:53] Speaker A: No, wait. Micah, talk again. [00:00:55] Speaker D: I'm talking. This is me. It's me. [00:00:57] Speaker B: Okay. [00:00:58] Speaker C: This is real. This is me. [00:01:00] Speaker A: Okay. Every single time someone makes a mistake in my class, I go, everybody has those days. Everybody makes mistakes. And all my students look at me confused. And I go, right, right, right. That's true. [00:01:12] Speaker C: Gin Alpha. [00:01:17] Speaker A: I didn't actually bother to come up with a letter question. [00:01:20] Speaker D: Oh. [00:01:21] Speaker A: Oh, Jiggle. [00:01:25] Speaker C: I thought I had one. I can make one up on the spot. [00:01:29] Speaker A: I think I have one. [00:01:30] Speaker C: Okay. [00:01:31] Speaker A: Since we are coming back to the fun guys, having returned to their home in Parsage where we left off last time, if your characters were first time home buyers, what would be at the top of their list? What's their. What's the home that your character is looking for? [00:01:47] Speaker C: You mean like on hgtv where they show the couple and then they show, like, their must haves? [00:01:53] Speaker A: Yes. And. And it's, you know, it's. It's cutting to, like, Greta and it's like, budget point. $4 million. Yeah. The career is. Grows fungus in her pockets, and you're just like. [00:02:06] Speaker C: We need an HGTV show in Yalabran. [00:02:11] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. That'd be a fun one shot. [00:02:13] Speaker C: That would be. [00:02:15] Speaker A: Since I run the depressing ones. We should get Daniel for that. But that could be fun. No, that's true. I. I've run some fun one shots. Who do we want the DMNPC to be? [00:02:25] Speaker C: Ooh, buying a house. [00:02:27] Speaker D: I feel like hello would make the most sense because, like, he's a part of the party. [00:02:33] Speaker C: Yeah. I want to know what his must haves would be. [00:02:35] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:02:36] Speaker A: Sometimes vanilla is the best flavor. All right. [00:02:39] Speaker C: He's not vanilla. [00:02:42] Speaker D: His existence. [00:02:45] Speaker A: Not particularly. He was recently dead. [00:02:52] Speaker C: Yikes. That took a turn ro. Okay. I feel like you guys kind of know Rose because she made the mansion. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Oh. [00:03:05] Speaker C: I feel like a lot of that would be on her list. Like, a lot of magical kind of like instead of like a Smart home. She would have like a magical. [00:03:18] Speaker A: Sorry. Do you remember the Disney Channel classic movie? [00:03:21] Speaker C: Oh, movie. [00:03:22] Speaker A: I have it on flooding back to me. Sorry. [00:03:25] Speaker C: I have it on. [00:03:26] Speaker A: Sorry. [00:03:28] Speaker C: That really shows my age. Anyway. [00:03:32] Speaker A: We'Re not that old. We're really young. We're very. Everyone here is young. Just different. [00:03:38] Speaker C: We're younger than most D and D podcast people much so I'm young. [00:03:43] Speaker A: I can't talk for the rest of you, I'm very young. [00:03:45] Speaker C: Okay. But yeah, I think it would be kind of like a magic home where she has like lots of like spells and like a mage hand and stuff like that, like doing things all the time. And I think she would definitely want like a, like a nice like practice room and stage and all, which is what she did in the. The mansion, so. And she would like, want a really nice room for like hosting, which again with like the tree and all. [00:04:15] Speaker A: So yeah, that would be Rose in my. I mean, it remains to be seen because I'm. I'm sure there. This could be explored eventually. But the idea of like in my head I wrote doesn't end up as Kanojay. They're very different people. But like the idea that Kanji has eventually made some permanent mansion is very much what I feel like. Oh, definitely will happen with bro. [00:04:38] Speaker C: Yeah, that's definitely your hand on the. [00:04:40] Speaker A: Can or what was. [00:04:43] Speaker D: No, I like opened. I opened it and it went. And it like went up my shirt. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Would you drink it? I knew it. Chick gets married and she's like, okay. [00:04:57] Speaker E: I could drink alcohol though. [00:04:59] Speaker D: Hey, like three months. Less than three months. I'm just saying. [00:05:03] Speaker A: Oh my God, I couldn't care less. Also that I don't understand how people get drunk on those. There's so little alcohol in it. [00:05:11] Speaker F: But anyway. [00:05:13] Speaker D: Me neither. Haha. [00:05:15] Speaker B: Just kidding. [00:05:16] Speaker C: I feel like if you have like eight. [00:05:17] Speaker A: Anyway, Moving on, Moving on. All I mean is that like ed tech, I'd watch frat guys get hammered and then I taste one and I'm like, you'd have to have 30 of these. But okay, but that's just me. So what about. What about Craig? What's. What's on Craig's dream house list? [00:05:38] Speaker B: Craig's thing. [00:05:39] Speaker A: Fair enough. What about. [00:05:43] Speaker G: Boss would look for a spruce or an oak. [00:05:47] Speaker C: Nice. [00:05:48] Speaker F: Good. [00:05:49] Speaker A: Craig. [00:05:52] Speaker D: I think that he would like to make a. Get a house that's like halfway in it, like a mountain and half out, like look like overlooking a landscape that would be his bougie house that you'd have to like. It's really pretty. It's really pretty. And I think that it would have to do with like being quite close to like locationally rock interesting. It's like interesting rocks around and stuff. [00:06:21] Speaker A: I mean you guys did go to. You found those that massive like canyon rivering system in the middle of Biasta, like the one that overlooked the waterfalls. That's pretty sick. [00:06:32] Speaker D: Yeah. I think he's the one that has a house looking over there. [00:06:37] Speaker A: Heck yeah. [00:06:38] Speaker D: True. [00:06:39] Speaker A: I mean that is currently. That area ish in the Dionda Neck is currently where Aaron and Catherine are actually because they're still with. So what about Greeb Gar? [00:06:58] Speaker C: This is. [00:06:58] Speaker B: This is her dream home. I love thinking about Greta and the idea of home because I think it's. I think it's like a. It's like different for her. It's like very. It has been historically very mobile for her. And so it might just be like some people that she loves and like some blankets that she's comfy in. But I think also it could be. I. I think she really honestly likes the home in Parson and I think that like, that would be a perfect place for her to like. Like, if she were to settle down, I think that is where she would want it to happen. And I don't think there's much that she would change about it. [00:07:47] Speaker A: You said something really beautiful and sweet just then, but you led with. Home has always been mobile for her in my mind. Immediately smash cut to Greta in a trailer park just being like, y' all get out of. That's all I could like her swinging over a screen door and being like, I'll inflict wounds. You? [00:08:07] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:09] Speaker A: Heck yeah. All right, Tello. I don't know what's dream. I think at this point in his life, I think in the past, you know, I think two years ago, I think pre fun guys or like a year and a half ago or whatever. A year and a half ago, he would have like for sure picked like a city because I don't think he could live without the big city life. But at this point in his very shifted life, I think he would pick small town for sure. I think. I think big city is no longer the play for him. You know, not to be super basic with it, but I think something like Parsage, I think small community, a place where he could just be a guy in a place and not much was going to happen. I don't think he would want to. I think he'd want something to do. It's still Tello. I don't think he'd want it to be manual. So I don't think he'd want some agricultural living, but I think. I think all hands dirty. No, he really doesn't. I think a moderate home of, like, a small, nice house. You know what I mean? Like, it's small, but it's good. And he still spent money on it and in it, you know, like, things are nice and he's made them nice. I lives quietly doing some, like, artistic craft. [00:09:32] Speaker B: I want to add. I want to. I think that Greta is excited about the idea of living in, like, settling down purely because I think she wants to, like, help people. I think she's. And maybe, like, as a way to, like, resolve guilt in a way that, you know, maybe, like, isn't. I think she wants to, like, help people. And not in, like, a save the world kind of way, but she wants to, like, like, just, like. Like heal someone's broken ankle, you know, or, like, help someone in their garden, I think. And I think, like, a small community is, like, a good way to, like, do that. She's ready to go, like, full on. Like, how does that grandma have so much energy mode? [00:10:14] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. At my grandmother. But yeah. Heck, yeah. Also, just a quick heads up before we get rolling. There are these really, really, really cool super Mario dice on Etsy that I've been looking at for, like, literally two years. And I've thought forever about buying them, but they're just too expensive. And then recently I caved and bought an alternative set on Amazon, which is ironic because that's hypocrisy and I got what I deserved because they look really cool. But you guys see that? Yes. The designs are raised off of the die, so they are functionally useless, which. [00:10:51] Speaker C: Really makes me love more. [00:10:54] Speaker A: Oh, it's funny. Which makes me love them much more because these are incomprehensible die. I rolled the D20, so that roll could be 15, it could be 16, could be 6, could be 7. Definitely not 21 of those. And so these are the die I'll be rolling with all evening. And the rule I have for myself is whichever upward facing side is most facing toward me is the role. But I cannot wait to use disaster Die. But, yeah, anyhow, the D6 rolls. [00:11:28] Speaker B: Did you get a whole set like that? You did? [00:11:31] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. The D12 is also useless. The D10 and D100 work. The D8 is okay. The D4. The D6 is great. The D4 is. Look how it's. Look how it's done. [00:11:46] Speaker B: Okay. [00:11:47] Speaker A: Looks good. Wait, anything? Anybody noticing Anything we. [00:11:50] Speaker C: How do you know what the number? [00:11:53] Speaker A: Wherever it lands, three numbers are facing up. [00:11:56] Speaker C: I hate to break it to you, but these dice remind me of like a piece of AI artwork. [00:12:03] Speaker F: Yes. [00:12:03] Speaker C: They're all like they were made by a non human. [00:12:07] Speaker A: Well, they were. They were clearly made by someone who is like. Yeah, people are always buying these dice. So I'm gonna make these rubbers and I'm gonna glue them together in layers. Clearly not someone who's ever interacted with DND at all. Or dice. And so my rule for the D4 is whichever one's facing me the most. But yeah, they're not even. They're not even all facing the same way. The four is up, the one is horizontal. Wow. Anyhow, fun. I love them for how terrible they are. Without further ado, let's play some D D for my note taking. Nerds. This is. This is crazy. Episode 160 of the Accidental Adventures. Wow. [00:12:50] Speaker C: That's divisible by eight. [00:12:51] Speaker A: We've been doing this for a hot second. Episode 160 of the Accidental Adventures Home is where the hearth is. [00:13:03] Speaker C: I'm gonna cry. [00:13:09] Speaker A: Let me pick a song here. [00:13:12] Speaker C: I think I spelled hearth wr. [00:13:22] Speaker A: Okay, I'm putting music on. As always. Remember, you can adjust it in kenku if you don't like the volume. I'm gonna take my volume down. It's too loud. [00:13:33] Speaker C: Can you remind us of the exact last thing that happened? [00:13:36] Speaker D: Because I don't. [00:13:37] Speaker C: I remember the majority of what happened and I down here that we need to like help Goober get there and all. But I don't remember like the last. [00:13:47] Speaker A: Thing that happened as a cut off from last time. The we left off with the party left Goober and Nam sailing the ship as best as they could as a pair toward Telethonom with some plan in the future to like get them or help them or you know, like that wasn't quite hammered out yet. But they were like Shpaguber and Nam were like starting the sailing venture as best they could with two people and slowly making their way in the direction of Telfanon. And then the people the party in the immediate time. After speaking quite a bit with Shiba, Goober returned. They have returned to Parsage and you guys have gone back and found the home as you left it. One of the key takeaways from last time was that the home is done in a fairly short amount of time. Like you guys were gone for not quite eight months and everything's done. And so it is still a somewhat unremarkable home. But speak for yourself. Sorry. It is in very good condition. And where is. Hold on, I'm to going get my little reference diagram out because I have the old drawing of the home. So that is the old layout for everyone who can see it there. And I can send a little. No, I can't because my phone's in the other room. Have I sent a picture? [00:15:18] Speaker C: I think I did last time. [00:15:20] Speaker A: I feel like I did. Did I? [00:15:23] Speaker C: I'm looking. Maybe I didn't, maybe not. Maybe I'm crazy. Easy. [00:15:29] Speaker A: Yep, that's the dungeon you guys were in. That's not. That's not the home. Well, when you guys talk. In a second I'll take a picture and send it in. Lauren, reference. But so you are back at the. You're back at the home. And you guys. I mean we, we role played you guys being there for like a couple hours and then that was it. So. [00:15:48] Speaker C: And we bed. Well, Greta and I went and got spent monies to get like all the things like plates and bedding and stuff. [00:16:00] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Sick. Good, good. And then you guys about the prices and all that for that. [00:16:04] Speaker C: Yeah, we already took all the money out and everything. [00:16:07] Speaker A: Sick. [00:16:09] Speaker B: And then an oven for Nam. [00:16:12] Speaker C: Yeah, we were building an oven. We talked. We. Oh and we put a. We built a hammock thing up in the bedroom so that Nam had a place to sleep. And then we, we. We designated that the bed would be like uber since this will be his like home base. And then we also. We also. What was the other thing that I was gonna say we did? We were gifted coats and yeah, Cassandra is making an oven for n. Mr. Sparrow is taking care of the garden while Willie is away cuz he was visiting family. And then we talked to Spagh Goober about. I think we were going to like go just go like get them. Like I was going to teleport to get them and we were going to see if there was anyone in town that would want to teleport with us. [00:17:18] Speaker D: To like. [00:17:21] Speaker C: Take on the ship and park it. Okay, all right. [00:17:26] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:17:27] Speaker F: Okay, cool. [00:17:28] Speaker A: Thank you for the update. I. I would come armed with all that knowledge. I have not posted that episode yet, so I have not actually listened back to it yet. So I don't got you what happened but. Because I can't remember anything. But I will soon have all the episodes posted and we'll be up to date. Okay, sick. Well, it is the fifth. It's CBICOL fifth. Which guys, just as a head up. You a heads up. You are 27 days out for the end of the year, which is crazy. [00:17:56] Speaker C: Which means 26 days out from Rose birthday. [00:17:59] Speaker F: Oh, my goodness. [00:18:01] Speaker C: We're gonna have a party. [00:18:02] Speaker F: What? [00:18:03] Speaker A: Abby. Okay. And it is beckon is the day of the week, which is like a Tuesday. [00:18:10] Speaker C: My favorite day the week. [00:18:12] Speaker A: You've never mentioned that before. [00:18:14] Speaker B: You're my favorite. [00:18:14] Speaker D: Dude. [00:18:15] Speaker E: It is. [00:18:18] Speaker F: Goobers. [00:18:18] Speaker A: All right, well, I'm getting just a little bit of audio feedback from Mickle, and we've never really given one to Abby since she's. I guess we'll just call her Ickle. But yeah, from Mickel and Nickel. I think you guys could solve that either by getting earbuds or by turning down the laptop. One of the two, I don't think has anything to do with the proximity of the mic to each other. When I come back through your mic, I'm getting my mic, my voice back. [00:18:49] Speaker G: Is this the microphone? While Jack. While he's talking. [00:18:53] Speaker B: Okay. [00:18:54] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:18:56] Speaker A: Any here? Yeah, so it's the. We'll call it the morning of the 5th. Oh, and also, just as a refresher for the people who were not here previously. So you guys are back in Parsage. It's early winter, so. Or well, actually it's kind of mid winter, so let me just. Let me just breathe through. Let me give some also, because it's been like a month since we played. [00:19:24] Speaker C: That's true. [00:19:27] Speaker A: Okay. When the party returns to Parsage, Sea Bequot will be started and the winter will be in full swing. Okay, so the open plains stretch out all around you guys. Softly rolling hills. Very, very, very, very softly rolling hills for miles all around. And the town is blanketed in a soft burping, still white of Snow. Probably like 2 or 3 inches in every direction. Yeah, it's uninterrupted along the great landscape with an ocean of frozen waves little interrupting their stillness. Quilted overcast sky. Less than. Okay, the town itself is less than a thousand feet away from your home. Very nearby. You guys did in your time in. I'll go ahead and read this. Dogot's damage to the town months before is unclear. The hundred or so humble buildings of Parsonage standing as though as they had when the fungi's last stayed in the small farming community. In the near distance, a smattering of warmly clad townsfolk move amicably about the muddy streets. The melted snow churned into cold water. Under their continuously trodden paths, thin columns of gray smoke snake upward and melt into the greater ash of the heavily laden Clouds above carbon stories of the residents warmly huddled around their small hearths and stoves. Altogether, Parsonage carries on as a rural community in the high hibernating season of neither preparation nor harvest, subsisting slowly from saved resources and tending to the growth between one another within their well cared homes. From what you all saw from last time, Parage is fully recovered from Doggoth's attack, save for a handful of various repairs stilled for the winters. You guys asked around a little bit last time, learned that I think Abby and Micah are frozen. You guys asked around last time and found that the wandering death only set fire to eight buildings and all eight buildings did not fully burn down. And in the following months have all been repaired. The only building that was leveled was the one that was. What's your big spell? Roe? Your big damage spell? [00:21:43] Speaker C: Shatter? [00:21:44] Speaker A: Yeah, the one that was shattered. [00:21:46] Speaker C: Yeah. I was trying to remember like what I would have had them. [00:21:49] Speaker A: So that was. That was the only one that was leveled. But it has been repaired. Well, it's getting there. It's halfway through. But the, the fires were set out so quickly or put out so quickly that none of the buildings burned down. All the way down. It's also relievingly true you guys find that no innocent lives were lost in the attack. No one died. A number of people did sustain burns, but no one died. Largely because Dolgoth was so quickly defeated. And just a reminder that as you guys ask around town, there are no guards here. We mentioned last time, no kefkans and the empire has not collected taxes and parse in four months. So just as is weirdly with a lot of the earthenbloom right now absent. Otherwise you guys find that parseage has like almost slowed to a stop in terms of most industry. Crops have been stored for months. You guys also, well asking around town also some hubbub was made of your return, but not necessarily frothing hysteria the way last time. But you know, it's still too many people are passing by the house and it's. It's an annoying amount of presentation. You're having to work to stay away from the citizens. You also find when you return that a statue is underway of all of you. [00:23:17] Speaker C: Oh yeah, you told us. [00:23:19] Speaker A: And there is. There's debate to re to renaming the local tavern the Fungus. And like you know, people are starting to try and get like paintings of you guys and sell those and so like it's. It's a little weird. [00:23:36] Speaker D: Is it like writer like where they don't get the Nose. Right. [00:23:42] Speaker A: Yes, correct. Well, Craig. No, the thing is, they do you fine. The beard's always a little wrong. [00:23:50] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:23:51] Speaker A: But you guys find that as a result of Boz and Rose spellwork the last time that you were here, that in the time you were gone, the town proceeded to have the largest harvest ever. Incomparably so. I mean, so much crop was harvested. So the towns had the money to make the repairs and then some. Some of which has probably gone to the statue being made in the middle of town. And the meager trades that support people who come through on trade have dried up as there's a near absence of travel at this time of year. And instead parsonage citizenry has. They're milling about town, conducting chores. They visit one another. And they're continuing to prepare their small community for the world's most celebrated holiday. Holiday. The most shared holiday in the world. Here, Rose. Birthdays of last light. [00:24:39] Speaker F: Oh, my goodness. [00:24:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:24:43] Speaker A: So that's where you guys are with everything. [00:24:48] Speaker C: Sick. Oh, and didn't Mr. Sparrow, like, bring us some soup is how he ended? I think I remembered that. [00:24:53] Speaker A: Now this just. [00:24:54] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:24:54] Speaker F: Brought you all some soup. [00:24:56] Speaker C: Soup. Tuber soup. [00:24:59] Speaker A: So the party has been in the home for two days. What are they doing on this? The morning of the 5th. And I'm going to go take some reference pictures real quick, but. I'm listening. Go get up with that role play. [00:25:12] Speaker C: I'll call. I, I, I. [00:25:14] Speaker B: If. [00:25:15] Speaker C: If y' all are cool with it, I think we should maybe ask around town if anyone has experience in sailing and see if they would be down to be teleported onto a ship. [00:25:30] Speaker B: I think, I think that we should ask our buddy whose name I am tragically forgetting. But the who's the. Who's the like Mr. Sparrow. Yes, I think we should ask Mr. Mr. Sparrow instead of just like doing an open call. Because I fear that if true we just do an open call. We're going to get everyone in town. [00:25:49] Speaker C: That's true. [00:25:50] Speaker B: Who has never seen. [00:25:51] Speaker C: Yeah. They may lie just to be a part of it. [00:25:55] Speaker B: Yes. So I think we should ask Mr. Sparrow if he knows of any chill, relaxed people who could be instructed on how to do sailing. Any competent, chill, relaxed people who don't think that we're the best, but also don't hate. [00:26:11] Speaker A: It's not required that they're six feet tall, but that's a place. Plus good sense of humor. [00:26:17] Speaker C: Don't we need a couple people? Zach? Would we know you guys have spent. [00:26:22] Speaker A: Enough time on a ship to know that six would Be a good number, but four will do. Yeah, I say we're always undermanning the poor bed. [00:26:30] Speaker C: That's true. [00:26:32] Speaker B: So maybe we communicate that to Mr. Spiral. [00:26:36] Speaker C: How far? [00:26:38] Speaker A: Also, the pictures are in Lauren reference. [00:26:39] Speaker C: Now, dm how far are we? I don't see anything. [00:26:44] Speaker A: Except that they're not. [00:26:47] Speaker C: You put them in the wrong Lauren reference. [00:26:50] Speaker A: No, I did. That's the right one. [00:26:52] Speaker C: You put them in the one shot Lauren reference. [00:26:55] Speaker A: I did. Let's try this again. [00:27:01] Speaker C: How are you gonna make me re. [00:27:02] Speaker A: Choose the pictures I just sent? Okay, now they're being sent in the right Lauren reference. There's your house. [00:27:11] Speaker C: I. I have a question. Dm, how long is the journey now? I know we talked Trishpa Goober. How long is the journey now from where I'm like about where they're at to the closest dock, basically. Well, where we're wanting. [00:27:29] Speaker A: Well, we're wanting to go see where we left off. I mean, the last time you guys sailed the poor bet to Teleton Arm, you just sailed it to the southern shore. And you could do that in like. [00:27:44] Speaker F: A week and a half. [00:27:45] Speaker A: Now if you are trying to. You're trying to take the ship to like a port city that would need to be further up the coast, probably nearest to you all. [00:27:58] Speaker C: Do we have to take it to a port city? [00:28:02] Speaker B: I think that we should just dock it. [00:28:04] Speaker C: I do too. So that would be like a week and a half. [00:28:12] Speaker A: Well, it's been. You're. You're at like a week and a couple days now because more days have passed. [00:28:18] Speaker C: I have a suggestion. I have a. I have a question as ro. I don't know why I said it that way. Rose starts thinking out loud to the rest of the party and is like, with my navigational experience, should I just. I mean, we've kind of got the fort down here. Should I let. Should I teleporter and nom and. [00:28:49] Speaker A: Or. [00:28:50] Speaker C: Or I could teleport me and balls Baz. I could teleport you and I to the ship. You tree me and you to the ship. Plus whatever sailor people we find, you tree back with Spaghuber and Nam so that they can get off of their sea legs. I will stay on the ship because I've had the most navigational spirit experience now and help sail the poor bet back. If you guys don't need me here. What do y' all think of that? [00:29:30] Speaker B: That sounds good. Are you confident? I'm confident in your navigation. [00:29:33] Speaker C: And then I'll. And then I'll teleport me and the and the other sailors back here once. [00:29:40] Speaker G: We'Re for a week and a half. Sack. [00:29:44] Speaker C: I would be. I would be on the ship, you guys would be here, and you'd have Spagober and Nom so they could start getting like, settled in their new home. [00:29:56] Speaker A: Yeah, we go for anything. [00:29:58] Speaker C: I. I mean, I'd be down to do that. I. I think I'm confident in your navigation skills. [00:30:04] Speaker B: I am com. Are you confident in them? [00:30:06] Speaker C: I always know north and that's what counts. [00:30:11] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. [00:30:14] Speaker D: Okay. [00:30:17] Speaker C: Also. Also Goober and this other higher power somewhere told me that I needed about like 250 hours to like, really no navigation. And I have like 160, so I'm feeling decently, like halfway confident. Okay. Okay. [00:30:38] Speaker D: Who else would be on the boat with you? [00:30:41] Speaker C: Whatever sailors we find can take them. I can take them. [00:30:51] Speaker B: I can take. [00:30:52] Speaker C: If anyone gets. If anyone gets rude, they're off. Shatter immediately. [00:30:58] Speaker D: I'm staying on there with you. [00:31:00] Speaker C: No, seriously, Craig, I can take care of myself. [00:31:04] Speaker B: Then you only need four people, and that's better than five people. [00:31:08] Speaker C: Well, I figured we would just get like three people. If I'm on the ship, we can do it with four. We've done it. [00:31:13] Speaker B: Okay, well, then you just need two people. [00:31:16] Speaker C: Okay. I mean, if Craig wants to. I was just trying not to like, split us all up. I just. [00:31:22] Speaker D: I just. [00:31:22] Speaker C: I mean, it doesn't matter. [00:31:25] Speaker B: So we just need to ask Mr. For two. [00:31:28] Speaker C: For two to three sailor folk. [00:31:34] Speaker B: Three sailor folk. [00:31:36] Speaker C: Okay, we go to Mr. Sparrow. [00:31:38] Speaker B: Yes, right now. [00:31:42] Speaker A: Awesome. The party is sat around in the kitchen with. With the. The sitting in the wooden chairs around the round table and with. I mean, there were six chairs, I believe. So enough. Certainly enough for all the party members gathered. And Tello goes, that sounds like a really good plan. I think it works best if I stay here and not do that. And you guys are polishing off the last bit of soup. And he goes, someone's gonna really need. [00:32:08] Speaker F: To do these dishes. [00:32:09] Speaker A: So, you know, maybe home, bucket and row and maybe other people. It was very unclear. [00:32:16] Speaker C: Maybe Craig. [00:32:18] Speaker A: And maybe Craig. [00:32:19] Speaker C: Oh, and also Mr. Sparrow. Yeah. [00:32:24] Speaker A: Great. Is pause also going, or is he staying in the house? Okay, so everyone stayed for Tello who stays and does the dishes, leave the home. And it's another cold morning. No new snow, but the snow that's been there is still there. It's a beautiful landscape in an understated way. Gorgeous and snow of rain. The mud road leading through town is very churned up and dirty, but everything else is just spotless. White. And there are like trails. Some, some of the snow is disturbed by like trails that run away where like kids have run out from town, played in the fields nearby. And there are some like snowmen out there, but not a ton. Most of it is still just undisturbed in white. And there's also a couple dogs that live in town that like have just track run runs everywhere, marks going around, but all just a bunch of like there's like three like big like farm dogs that belong to various people. But otherwise it's still just serene and beautiful and no new snow fall. But it's, it's quite cold. It's probably like lower. No, it's probably like upper 20s. So everybody has to bundle to wherever they're going. [00:33:36] Speaker C: But yes, on our way to on this walk, Ro asks Greta, do you want us, do you want balls? When Balls comes back, do you want him to teleport your. Or do you want him to bring your raccoon? [00:33:57] Speaker A: Imagine the raccoon on the ship for a week and a half with just strangers. [00:34:02] Speaker D: Yeah. No, I would love it. [00:34:03] Speaker B: I think that they would love the forest and the tree. [00:34:09] Speaker D: Our tree. [00:34:10] Speaker B: We have to. Has not. We have to. [00:34:13] Speaker A: Right? When Greta says that, she says the forest. And you look around to the miles of open plain. [00:34:21] Speaker B: Well, it's a little bit closer to his home than a boat. So it's a little bit closer to a forest than a boat. [00:34:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:34:34] Speaker B: Well, yeah, I think he would love all of this open plane and especially the tree that we have in front of our house. [00:34:39] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:34:40] Speaker B: Can you do that? [00:34:40] Speaker C: And maybe. [00:34:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:41] Speaker C: I mean, yeah, if he doesn't. [00:34:45] Speaker A: I'm suddenly realizing that there's this like, there's this small agricultural community that probably has rats and like mice and probably some insects, but otherwise that's it. And they don't have squirrels. Boxes that come in from the plains and there's no trees around. And I mean there's like, there's like a tree every like couple miles and, and the party's gonna bring in the only raccoon that's ever been here. [00:35:11] Speaker C: You're welcome. [00:35:13] Speaker A: Not had raccoons. It's just like. Well but Batman brought his raccoon. So what are we gonna do? [00:35:22] Speaker B: Cat. [00:35:23] Speaker C: Yeah, it's just a cat. [00:35:24] Speaker A: So the, the like, if Batman brought. [00:35:27] Speaker D: His bats. [00:35:32] Speaker C: I wish I could bring some bats into our bat cave. [00:35:36] Speaker B: That would be cool. [00:35:38] Speaker A: We actually. Yeah. So the party's walking across town. It's like a like four minute walk walk. And then you guys are at his house. There's the modest property with the very small plot of fenced land behind where he runs his meager operation, the silo nearby where Craig and he had a heart to heart over fatherhood some time ago. And stored grain there. And the party treads up in daylight like the walk there is quiet. You get a couple minutes out of town or you get a couple minutes out of your house and there's already people from around town like spotting you guys like nudging each other and starting to gather. And it's not as insatiable as it was before. You get the feeling there were some conver conversations around town about like if you guys are keeping like this, they're not gonna be here. So like it's come down a notch. It's not like losing their mind violent anymore. But there's like people around like already gathering and talking. And you guys like move up to his door quickly to try and knock on him before anyone starts berating you guys. And you guys are up on the patio or not patio, porch. Where some time ago Ro was having a conversation about being cursed forever ago by Shista. And as you all wrap on the door, there's just a second before the door creaks open. And standing behind it, at every bit Greta's height now and not quite Craig's, and taller than Ro, who's the smallest of the bunch, is the tinier than me. [00:37:08] Speaker C: Shorter than me, isn't she? Greta, how tall are you? This is important. [00:37:17] Speaker F: I could totally be wrong. [00:37:18] Speaker B: Give me 10 minutes. [00:37:21] Speaker C: Okay, nevermind. Give her 10 minutes. [00:37:24] Speaker A: And so maybe, maybe I got the heights backward. I thought you were shorter than Greta. But is the young like sort of pale skinned boy wrapped up in his. In his heavy cloaks? He's, he's. [00:37:37] Speaker F: Oh shoot, I forgot how old Darren is. [00:37:40] Speaker A: He's younger than 10 and 8, we'll say. And no, maybe he is like 10, I don't know. He opens the door and you guys remember him darn as he is called Darren but shorted, shortened. And he opens the door and he goes. Oh hello. I'm sorry, I wasn't. We didn't know that you all were coming. Welcome. Would you all like to come in. [00:38:05] Speaker C: If it's not too much trouble. We just had a question for your. For your father. [00:38:09] Speaker A: Yes, Paul's gone very briefly into town to gather some bread stuffs for the day. But please, please do come in. And he like has to reach up to push the handle slightly, but he like turns the door and it in and you all are once again confronted with the home that is like kind of just three rooms pushed together. Very small home again. And as you all come in from the cold behind and the door closes behind you, a couple citizens are now like 60ft away now kind of like peering in like what's going on there. And as the door closed and latches behind you, it's cozy and it is warm. It's not. Not warm. The home's not fully sealed as most structures aren't here. So the cold gets in. But everybody's got blankets and there's a small fire. You get the feeling that fires go for quite a bit of time in the winter. It's probably one of the main imports in the town in this part of the year. In the small like potbelly stove in the kitchen. And Lillian is nowhere in sight. Lily as you all knew her. She's probably out with her father running chores. And Darne was left in charge of the home. But he just sort of gestures around and he says, welcome back. We haven't any food yet prepared. Father went out for the foodstuffs. [00:39:25] Speaker F: But. [00:39:28] Speaker A: Whatever purpose you will have, I'm to entertain you for the time until Paul returns. [00:39:37] Speaker C: No, you all don't have to feed us or anything eaten. [00:39:43] Speaker A: Good. All right. And he just does that like white guy. He just stands there still water. Oh, Craig. Yes. I'll go fetch the pail from. I am part about the back of the house. Trods out the back and opens the door. Closes it behind him. There's like a pause and he comes back in with a big wooden pail. And he pulls out a small wooden cup and he like. He like has a little step stool. He pulls up to the wooden counter and he goes up the. There is only the one cupboard. And he goes up and grabs a small wooden cup and brings it back down. It's a very laborious process, like moving the stool from here, moving it to here. The. He has to carry the. The water pit. He's not like a tiny boy, but he's not a. He's not. I mean he's like a child. And the wooden pail filled he has to carry with both hands. But he eventually like to tips it with his whole body weight getting some in the cup. And he slides it over to you, Craig. [00:40:40] Speaker F: Whoa. [00:40:40] Speaker A: That's cold water. But it's like almost frozen. But you can drink it. [00:40:45] Speaker D: This is the best water I've ever had. [00:40:49] Speaker A: All right. [00:40:54] Speaker C: While we. While we wait, do you want to rose like patting her pockets? Like, what could I do? [00:41:05] Speaker D: She. [00:41:05] Speaker C: She gets out The. The stone of past paths. [00:41:09] Speaker A: Okay. [00:41:09] Speaker C: And she's like, would you want to you. Would you like to try this out? I don't know. [00:41:16] Speaker A: That's all right. It looks like a very cool rock. [00:41:19] Speaker C: No, you, like, look through it and you think of someone, you know, and you can see where they've walked. [00:41:25] Speaker A: And he gets his face like he's just kind of humoring you. [00:41:27] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:41:28] Speaker A: You get the feeling that he's left to entertain his little sister, her all the time. And he's like, oh, right there. [00:41:32] Speaker E: Oh, whoa. [00:41:33] Speaker A: And he's like, looking through it and he goes, wow, Lily's been everywhere. How does she even get up there? She has been in the cupboard. And then you. And then he just turns this into, like, older brother, like, scanning for, like, where has she been supposed to be? And now he's just, like, scanning around the home and, like, looking at. Yeah, it's not long. It's a tiny home. And at some point as he's scanning, there's no knock. Just confidently re. Entering his own home. The door swings open and heavily laden is the very large man. Mr. Doran Sparrow comes in and he's carrying a small, very simple. It's just like sackcloth wrapped around some smaller parchment wrapped breads that are all gathered up in twine and held in a hand. He's got a mitt. Non. As he puts it down on the. [00:42:24] Speaker F: Table, he goes, oh, hello. [00:42:27] Speaker A: And just surprised you're in his home. But then you watch him turn his head over his shoulder, like. And as you look back, there's like a number of people who found chores to do by here. And he's like, that's why they were gathered at. And it's not a moment more before, like, bursting around his leg in a sprint. And Greta, Craig, and Ro all roll me a D. 21st. Roll the session. [00:42:53] Speaker C: 20, Nat. [00:42:55] Speaker A: 20, of course. [00:42:58] Speaker D: Sorry. [00:43:05] Speaker A: Greta and Craig. [00:43:06] Speaker F: Well, they've frozen. [00:43:08] Speaker B: I got a. [00:43:11] Speaker A: Okay for Greta. Craig. [00:43:12] Speaker D: It's not doing it. Just 11. Okay, 11. [00:43:27] Speaker A: Representative of the total role history for those characters. So, I mean, Greta would be higher, but so just honestly, just line back or pummeling row. Lily just clobbers into you from around her father's leg to the point that even goes Lily. But you're, like, pushed back against the table. And she goes, princess Bo, I knew you'd come back. How have you been? And she's like. She's like, laden up in this, like, big, big coat that's just like two different hides sewn together. And she's. There's dead flowers kind of like shoved into it where like at some point earlier in the year she probably thought this looked cute and they've just died there and she's got this big like hat with like ear covers and mittens on and she goes. I'm so glad you're back. So you've probably come back to inquire of my door. But I found it otherwise the. Since they're gone, I think I might be next in line to be the princess. But I haven't had it confirmed from the palace yet. And quite otherwise of news, the scary man with the school's not returned. And I know that you fended him off the first time, but I think really now he's concerned that I've learned your powers, which I'm not concerned. I haven't. And she starts picking up like a stick and like doing like little like wand motions. And Doran just takes a long heavy breath and he goes. [00:44:44] Speaker F: The winter does not slow her down. I assume you've come with purpose. May I be of service? Pangis. [00:44:55] Speaker B: We have a favor to ask. [00:45:01] Speaker F: Certainly. I may be of use. [00:45:04] Speaker B: We're looking for. Well, it seems like you know the town very well, the people very well. And we're looking for. [00:45:12] Speaker F: I've lived here all my life. [00:45:16] Speaker B: Good. [00:45:16] Speaker A: Gives it a slightly rise. Mom. [00:45:19] Speaker B: We're looking for a. For two to three people who are. And she like glances to the door where you can like hear people. [00:45:31] Speaker D: Less. [00:45:32] Speaker B: Enthusiastic town members to help us sail our ship just to the. To the coast. [00:45:44] Speaker D: We'll. [00:45:44] Speaker B: We can. We'll teleport them to the boat. We just need some. Some trustworthy individuals who are. Are competent and we can preferable if they've sailed before, but I'm sure we can if they haven't sailed before. Maybe someone who's eager to learn. [00:46:06] Speaker C: And I'll. I'll be there with them so they don't have to be alone in it. [00:46:12] Speaker A: Yeah, well. [00:46:19] Speaker F: Not a great deal of sailors in passage. This is a very landlocked town of agricultural folk. In fact, I don't know that there are any sailors at all. Kendrick's sister's in town and she's of sailing sort, so I imagine she could lead and educate any others if need be. She owns her own compass as I understand she navigates the seas with a map, so she could probably handle navigatorial work. And if she's up to the task, I could ask if she's willing to. To teach others how to sail. Is it a grand craft? I don't know that Three would do it. [00:47:00] Speaker C: No, it's. It's a very small. It's. It's our ship called the Poor Bet. It's like very. It's like. It's called A little bigger than your house maybe. [00:47:12] Speaker F: Oh, you. [00:47:13] Speaker C: No, I'm serious. [00:47:18] Speaker F: Well, I mean I can think of four or five able bodied folk and Sarat's her name. I imagine that she could lead any in a sailing venture that you needed. Would this be paid or. Or more the. The experience of. Of saving the. [00:47:37] Speaker C: No, we would. We would definitely pay them. Right, right. She looks over at like boss and credit Craig. [00:47:43] Speaker D: Like right. [00:47:44] Speaker A: Pay them. [00:47:45] Speaker G: Oh yeah, for sure. And yeah, like. Like a gold a day or something like that. [00:47:51] Speaker F: Yeah, that's more than fair. More than many of the wages here. I. I imagine I could find a number of folk willing to do such an endeavor for such a price. And you would be with them, Rowan or. [00:48:09] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. I have a little bit of navigational experience myself from us sailing. [00:48:16] Speaker F: So if Cerrit's able to do it of her own accord, do you want to be a part of it just to ward over the ship or you find them doing it without you? [00:48:27] Speaker C: Oh, you mean the sailing? Yeah, I mean I. I'll be there to. To help like I can. I can like take the helm every now and then like so that people can rest and all because it'll be about a week and a few days journey certainly. [00:48:44] Speaker F: All right, well if you're set upon it, that's. Give me. Give me a day or so and I could. Do you want the appropriate folk to meet back at your home at a given time? [00:48:59] Speaker C: Yeah, just as. Just as soon as you get them. If they meet at our place, that would be great. [00:49:07] Speaker F: Okay. Let me handle the affairs around here for a bit. Darn. In charge of your sister for a time. And he just could. And Doran shoots him. [00:49:20] Speaker A: Oh look. And he like kind of like looks down a little bit and he goes. [00:49:24] Speaker F: All right, let me wrap up some tools here and I'll see who I can't find in town. [00:49:31] Speaker C: Thank you so much. [00:49:33] Speaker F: Certainly, yes. Anything else, fun guys? Do you want me just calling you by name? Is that too formal at this point? [00:49:41] Speaker B: Nope. [00:49:42] Speaker C: Yeah, you can just call us by our names. It's fine. [00:49:44] Speaker A: Whatever you want, that's fine. [00:49:47] Speaker F: Okay, well, I will do so. I'll let you know. I'm gonna have the mayor put something out, but she and her assistant have been gone a month, so I'll just. I'll go about it personally through the. [00:50:01] Speaker B: To the Table why have they been gone? [00:50:05] Speaker F: They've gone north to the capital. They've gone to inquire with the prefect lord. Oh, his name's uptight sounding. They've gone to meet with Lord Maverick ago. He's the sitting throne steward ever since the departure of the king and the princess. So he's the current ruler. I don't know that they'll get necessarily audience with him himself, but yeah, given that things are rather ambiguous with empire now, which quite frankly, I imagine half the town's wondering if you have some sort of information about. But not that you're beholden to say, just prepare yourselves. They all believe you have the answer to that, as they believe you have the answers to all of reality. [00:50:58] Speaker A: But they. [00:51:00] Speaker F: They've gone to inquire if the town's going to need any sort of response restructuring or what tax payment would look like now that it's no longer being withdrawn by the empire. Or at least has it for the last few months. [00:51:10] Speaker A: There's. There's a tension about. [00:51:13] Speaker F: This has never happened before and we've been ruled rather closely in the past. And this concern that. [00:51:25] Speaker A: There'S concern to. [00:51:26] Speaker F: Do things wrong, that if this is some sort of a. A wave from the empire, if they. If they're leaving only to return greater force or something. I think communities are just looking to be in compliance. I mean there's quite a few are becoming rebellious in the brief absence and others are afraid of these intentions and no one wants to be on General Loshler's bad side if she can sweeping back in. [00:51:57] Speaker A: So, yes. [00:52:01] Speaker C: Anything else of a jumble broke off and side eyes. [00:52:05] Speaker A: Greta, it is cold outside. And Darren goes. Cup of water? [00:52:13] Speaker C: No, I'm good, thank you. [00:52:14] Speaker F: It's probably a good idea. It's quite cold. [00:52:19] Speaker C: Oh, Abby. They were frozen. I wondered. [00:52:24] Speaker A: Teleported to the screen with her eyes. [00:52:28] Speaker D: I'll have. [00:52:29] Speaker B: I'll have wi fi next time. [00:52:34] Speaker A: Lily pops over and goes, but Paul, I think they've come from. I mean, if they're to teach me magics, they must stay for longer. [00:52:42] Speaker F: And he goes, yes, but they're not here to do that today, dear. [00:52:45] Speaker A: She goes, no, I'm rather certain they are. [00:52:47] Speaker F: And he goes, no, I 1 rather certain they're not. Dar, look after your sister. May we be of any further use, fun folk? [00:53:00] Speaker D: No, we're good. [00:53:02] Speaker C: Thank you so much. [00:53:03] Speaker A: Good. I'm not throwing you out of my home. You're welcome to stay. But I'm. [00:53:07] Speaker B: We owe you one for sure. [00:53:10] Speaker F: That's all right. [00:53:12] Speaker A: And he sets down the implements he had, puts them in the, in their respective pantries and then heads out back to continue to do things. You get the feeling he'll gather folks at some point in the day. Does the party go anywhere from there? Do anything, try and stick their tongues to anything cold. [00:53:30] Speaker C: I you guys go. I've been talking a lot. [00:53:44] Speaker D: I would like to go have because we're just waiting on hearing back from like the people that he can get in contact with. [00:53:51] Speaker A: So yeah, otherwise the party's just kind of doing their own thing. Plenty of time to prepare, plan, role play, do other things, contact Finagle. [00:54:00] Speaker D: Can I call Catherine? [00:54:04] Speaker A: Absolutely. Craig, take the stone out of your own mouth, dry it off a little bit. And I love this gag. And you grip it tightly and also just as a heads up, you know, you know, at the end of the month our, I don't know, just for setting our days of last light. The really one of the only holidays that are. That unites every nation in the world. I mean not every, but the vast majority. And they are a cultural celebrated celebration built around the most globally experienced phenomena of Yalbrim that occurs every year, annually. One at the end of the year, the last day of the year is half as long as the first of the next. So like the first and the last day of the year are both like half as long. And the night between them is like Tripoli long. And no one knows why. It is in fact the event, the, the cosmic event around which the year was built. Because at the end of the year, every year, this last day is very short and the last in the first day of the next year is very short. But the night in between them is very, very long. It's like, it's like a 24 hour night, two much shorter days. And so not that this needs to paint any of your call, but just the awareness that like you guys are around, you know, 25 days out from like this celebration. It's like a three or four day celebration leading up to. And it is, it is. This is all. The only similarity it bears is that it is at the end of the year and it is a big holiday. But in that way it's kind of like Christmas. Not because it bears too many similarities to Christmas, but because it's this very like interculturally unifying holiday or at least holiday season for so many cultures. Though it might even have different names in different places, different orientations of celebration. But so it is the holiday season in which you are calling your wife Craig. And as you grip the stone and reach out to it. You feel the connection. [00:56:04] Speaker D: I don't know if this has already been said, but Craig makes calls to Catherine like. [00:56:11] Speaker A: Yes, you have mentioned that. You've mentioned that. He's been calling pretty regularly. [00:56:19] Speaker D: Where? [00:56:19] Speaker B: They're still at Ethmun Kai's temple. [00:56:23] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. As they have been for now, like, seven months. [00:56:31] Speaker D: Seven months. [00:56:32] Speaker A: A while. Long time. [00:56:36] Speaker D: Wow. [00:56:36] Speaker B: They've been there for seven months. [00:56:40] Speaker D: In isolation. [00:56:42] Speaker A: Oh, well, F. Moon's there and he's great company, assuming that he's not leaving to other places and, you know, he do pop around, but. Yeah, they've been there a while. [00:56:55] Speaker D: Zach. [00:56:57] Speaker F: Huh. [00:57:00] Speaker D: I can't just leave them there. I don't know what we can do about that. I don't know either character about that. [00:57:09] Speaker A: Certainly could. [00:57:12] Speaker D: Okay, okay. So anyways, I made the call. [00:57:17] Speaker A: Okay. You grip the stone and you feel the. The connection made across space. And as you, you know, you feel her mind connect, and you feel like you could speak into it. [00:57:29] Speaker D: Catherine, are you there? Okay. [00:57:34] Speaker A: Hi, Craig. [00:57:38] Speaker D: Well, is it. Is it morning over there? [00:57:43] Speaker A: You know, it actually is a lot of the time when you call. It's not, but it is right now. And then, Craig, you go like, oh, yeah, okay. You've been learning about maps as you hop around the world and stuff. Telethonom is. Or Narskana is very close to Beasta. Same, you know, both in the Earth and blue. [00:58:03] Speaker D: Okay. I just wanted to give you a little update. We've made it safely back to our place of residence, question mark. [00:58:17] Speaker A: Okay, that's. That's good to hear. I'm glad everybody's okay. Yeah, I know she's older. Is that not too much on her? It's cold there. I know. [00:58:32] Speaker D: I think she's doing all right. She actually kind of has more energy than us. I don't know how. [00:58:36] Speaker B: Greta. Greta is, like, throwing snowballs. [00:58:39] Speaker D: Greta's, like, throwing. [00:58:42] Speaker A: You guys are back at your home. Craig's talking on the porch, and Greta's, like, hucking snowballs at, like, neighbor kids. [00:58:48] Speaker B: Greta's like. Craig looks over, and Greta has made an igloo. And he sworn that wasn't there 10 minutes ago. [00:58:54] Speaker A: She made it, which is incredible because there's not enough snow for it. So, like, there's now no snow in front of the house on the left side. She's gathered it all together for this fort. And you can see that, like, there's a small contingent of, like, town kids who've been told not to go bother the fun guys in their home, but are all A couple hundred feet away, like, just watching like the superhero built in igloo. And they're all just staring at it. You're there on the porch with the. With the stone. [00:59:20] Speaker B: Craig. [00:59:22] Speaker A: You haven't was weird. No. It's cold. [00:59:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:59:31] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, we've always spent the winters under mountain, so it's really cold here. In the winters? Never. I mean, you know, we're below ground now, but every time we go out, it's like, not used to that side of the basta, kind of. No. Aaron's really going nuts. I think I'm. You know, there's things to do here. [00:59:54] Speaker F: F moon's gone over. [00:59:56] Speaker A: The small responsibilities that can be done around the temple. So there's a lot of texts here. Actually, it's kind of interesting. Is anyone converted across the room sensing your mind? And she goes, there's. There's honestly a lot of text here. It's really interesting that the annals for the temple go back forever, so it's a lot of reading. You know me, I like numbers. But there's no one to manage, no business to conduct. So Aaron's kind of losing his mind, but. [01:00:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:00:29] Speaker F: And then. [01:00:32] Speaker A: He and his wife haven't lost their mind. They haven't split up yet, so they're doing okay. Just. We're just. We're passing days. [01:00:41] Speaker D: Hey, Cat? [01:00:43] Speaker A: Yeah, Craig. [01:00:46] Speaker D: I missed you. And. [01:00:51] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:00:55] Speaker D: Kind of want to come visit and come by. I. I just don't know if you. [01:01:00] Speaker A: Could have done that anytime you wanted. But. [01:01:05] Speaker D: Would I. Would I be. Well, would I. Would y' all want what? Is that okay? [01:01:15] Speaker A: Things are still weird, you know, Seven months helps a person calm down a little. To be clear, I have every right to be angry with you, but. [01:01:33] Speaker D: I know. [01:01:35] Speaker A: But I mean, I don't think I'd want to, like, you know, curse you out anymore. So if you want to come by, you could say hi. Honestly, Aaron's leveled off a lot. Yeah. You know, if you do what you want, Craig. [01:01:59] Speaker D: I want to. [01:02:00] Speaker A: You know. How do you know how much longer we're going to be here? I think that you guys still fighting dragons or whatever you do? [01:02:12] Speaker D: No dragons. We're. We're keeping that on the back burner, you know, saving our energy. No, I. I think I have an idea, but I kind of want to play it by the. The party first, make sure it's okay. But, yeah, I don't want you guys stuck there. I can't imagine how I would lose my. My mind being stuck in one spot with no. No community or nothing. For seven months. So I really don't. Great. No. But I know that the Officer. [01:02:55] Speaker A: F. Moon's nice. That's. I mean, he's weird. He isn't. Yeah. He told me a couple months ago that he spent his whole life in isolation. And I see that. Not a good people person, but neither am I. So. I don't know. We get along. He kind of drives Aaron up the wall because Aaron starts to try conversation and he gives them all these like one dimensional answers but I don't know, he and I get into it about history sometimes. So that's fun. But. [01:03:28] Speaker D: I think. I think the days of being there is coming to a close and I. [01:03:34] Speaker A: Think that we can going to go back home. [01:03:40] Speaker D: Let me talk to. Let me. Maybe. [01:03:47] Speaker A: Craig, let's. It's good to hear from you, but let's maybe like hammer things out a little bit and then call. [01:03:54] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. I just. [01:03:57] Speaker A: I mean, you don't have to keep apologizing, Craig. It's okay. Just. Well, I'm sorry. Hard year. And you know, I'm sure every time I come back to you, your face has a new mutilation. So I'm sure you're having a hard year too. Just. I'm not trying to make it all about us. It's just tough. [01:04:17] Speaker D: We all are an important part of it. We just took down. We just took down someone. That was a huge part of an issue. [01:04:30] Speaker A: Took down someone? Like killed somebody? [01:04:34] Speaker D: Well, they. They really did try to kill us. Really, really did try. I mean like hired people. So we did defend ourselves. And there's. There's a lot that I would love to. I could write a book. I could write many books. I could tell you all so much. [01:04:55] Speaker A: You always have those stories. It's. I so it's so hard to imagine you killing something, but I guess that's what you do now. You are just a whole other person. [01:05:07] Speaker D: I don't want it to be who I am. I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't. I. I want this. [01:05:15] Speaker A: You went off to go travel. I didn't think you were going to. [01:05:22] Speaker D: Honestly, I didn't know. [01:05:23] Speaker A: Stories you worked out, but. What. [01:05:26] Speaker D: I wasn't. I said I was gonna go travel, but I. I didn't even know where my next foot would be stepping. Definitely not this. Definitely not this. [01:05:41] Speaker A: Should have never gotten you that Eat, Pray, love scroll, but yeah. Okay, well, let us know if there's a plan at some point. Evan was bringing back more of those giant rodents later and he says, I repair them, prepare them well. So they make. They make good stew. So I don't know where he gets them from. Yeah, all right. [01:06:07] Speaker D: Okay. Well, I was checking in. [01:06:11] Speaker A: I mean, I appreciate that. I appreciate that. I do. So let me know if there's a plan, and I'll talk to you later. [01:06:20] Speaker D: Okay? [01:06:22] Speaker A: Okay. [01:06:23] Speaker D: I love you. I think he makes sure to say that after the phone calls. And even if she doesn't say it back. [01:06:34] Speaker A: You release the stone just as a. Because, you know, we've talked about. Talked about some role play that hasn't happened, which is obviously fine because you can't do everything in these sessions. Craig, after months of these calls, I mean, the first two or three was just her going like, yeah, don't call me. And. But as you do with people, you wore her down. And she. I like Craig at the. At the tail end of that call. I mean, however Craig feels about it, of course, that's all yours, Micah. But, like, it definitely gotten better over the months. She doesn't. She. She was giving you the silent treatment for a while there, and even when she was speaking, it was just like, yes, no's. Simple, emotionless responses. I mean, like, that was. You heard your wife there. She's acting somewhat like herself, though she does not sound. She doesn't talk to you the way she used to 30 years ago. Not like, glad to talk to you and all those things, but, like, you know, she's responding. And the other thing, too, is that you can find that, like, even with all the problems you guys are going through with at the moment, it's. She just has a hard time not talking to you because you guys have been married for so long, so it's just hard not to. Like, she has trouble not telling you what she's thinking because, you know, dwarves can be married for a long time. So. [01:07:55] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:07:55] Speaker A: I mean, not. I mean, that call felt the way it felt, but just as reference, it has definitely been progress. It doesn't seem like she necessarily hates you anymore. So. Progress. [01:08:06] Speaker D: Okay. [01:08:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:08:14] Speaker D: Sorry. Normally I'm like, on the chat all the time messaging. [01:08:22] Speaker A: That is true. [01:08:24] Speaker D: Okay, so Jackie. Jackie actually read my mind. So I was thinking. Okay, I'm gonna gather. Can I gather you guys? [01:08:35] Speaker B: Oh, are we. [01:08:36] Speaker D: Oh, wait, wait. [01:08:36] Speaker B: Gathered as. As characters. [01:08:39] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. [01:08:40] Speaker C: I'm like, yeah, okay. [01:08:42] Speaker B: Okay. [01:08:43] Speaker C: Come hither. [01:08:44] Speaker B: I just, like, really, like, like, she's got. She's really like. [01:08:48] Speaker D: He has so much throws that. Wants you to get your attention. [01:08:51] Speaker B: Yes, yes, yes. [01:08:52] Speaker C: Are we inside? [01:08:53] Speaker A: What's your. What's your. As you guys are coming back in and gathering. What's your ac? [01:08:58] Speaker C: Rose starting to fire. [01:09:02] Speaker B: Rose starting a fight. [01:09:04] Speaker C: Not a fire. [01:09:06] Speaker A: Greta walks in. Ro just cracks her in the nose. Greta almost feels it. [01:09:13] Speaker B: Greta's is 19. [01:09:18] Speaker A: 19. What's Tello's dex modifier? [01:09:24] Speaker B: So rude. I dodge. Uncanny dodge. Greta mode. Greta. Tello's Dex modifier is four. [01:09:41] Speaker G: Four. [01:09:41] Speaker A: What'd you say your AC was? 19. [01:09:47] Speaker B: Stop. Yes. [01:09:49] Speaker A: He rolled a 14 sets, a total of 18. So, Greta, as you're coming in this snowball just past your head, and you watch Teller just dart around the building. [01:09:59] Speaker F: Okay. [01:09:59] Speaker B: Like that. [01:10:00] Speaker A: So until it comes in the back of the house before Greta can go in the front of the house, obviously panting, but just kind of like, I've been in here the whole time. [01:10:11] Speaker B: Greta comes in, the party is slowly gathered. She does, like, this spider man move. [01:10:17] Speaker A: Yeah. So the party is slowly but surely gathered inside, and everyone's there taking off layers of warm clothes. The stove is burning with a little fire heating up the place. And, you know, it's not warm in here, but it's not awful. People have some. Some blankets to gather themselves around. [01:10:33] Speaker D: So I. I know that we have a sailing adventure to go on. [01:10:42] Speaker C: To again. Again, Craig. I can do that on my own. [01:10:48] Speaker D: So I kind of. I kind of. So my family's been in, like. [01:10:56] Speaker B: Like. [01:10:56] Speaker D: Like a place for, like, seven months now, and I kind of realized that I'm the one keeping them there. And in some way, I've kidnapped my family. And it's kind of dawning on me that that might not be the best way to get people to love you. So is there a way that we could possibly. Possibly move them? Not in that place. [01:11:27] Speaker B: What. [01:11:28] Speaker C: What do you think of. I mean, we got, like, caves down under us, right? And you guys, like. Like, you and your family lived in caves, right? [01:11:39] Speaker B: You got. You guys, like, I'm so sorry. [01:11:41] Speaker C: That sounded bad. [01:11:45] Speaker A: Just leans in and goes. I. I don't think you're supposed as. [01:11:48] Speaker F: You guys or you. [01:11:50] Speaker A: That's how we say. [01:11:52] Speaker C: I mean, like, I know. I saw your home. Like, you guys like to be in, like, the rocks, right? I just mean, like. Like, that's what you're used to. [01:12:01] Speaker D: Like, like, the rock falls out of correct mouth. [01:12:09] Speaker C: Like, what if we made, like, a Donnelly Suite of some sort, like, down there, and we could, like, maybe even build an entrance so that they don't have to, like, crawl through the oven. I don't know. We could talk. We could talk to Aaron about it. Aaron knows how to like, Aaron knows how to like. You got you and Aaron know how to, like, build, right? Or through rock. Right. [01:12:40] Speaker A: You guys look over and a thin line of sweat is building on Rose forehead. [01:12:46] Speaker D: Oh, wait, hold on. Oh, I'm not in the. Okay, never mind. Okay, so I get the feeling that their idea of being done with the cave that, like, at where at Moon Kai is, is by moving back home. Okay, I get if. Then they're gonna want to move back home. [01:13:09] Speaker B: Is it safe for them to move back? [01:13:11] Speaker C: Yeah, that's my question. Do we know? [01:13:14] Speaker B: Because didn't we remove them because it was unsafe? Yeah. [01:13:19] Speaker C: So do you have anyone you could. That, you know, Craig, that like, lives there that could tell us if the kefs are like, out of there? Like, they're out of here. Like, could you, like, someone up and be like, hey, damn, do I know. [01:13:39] Speaker B: Someone or no, do I know someone? [01:13:43] Speaker A: How do I do not? I mean, you lived your whole life there. There has to be. Honestly, at this point, Zach's considering that there really has to be a whole suite of Craig NPCs. He should know and should be able to contact of whom I have not thought so. Craig, why don't you tell me who you know In. In. Oh, my goodness. Where are you from? Well, it's Beasta, but like. [01:14:12] Speaker C: Just call Aaron's in laws. That'll go well. [01:14:15] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [01:14:19] Speaker A: No, but what's your town again, Craig? Oh, my goodness. We've been playing D and D for so long. Is it okay? Well, yeah. Who do you know? [01:14:29] Speaker C: There's a map. We need a map. Map, map. I'm looking. [01:14:38] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm also looking for map. [01:14:41] Speaker B: I want like a thin. Like. [01:14:46] Speaker A: Too much D and D. I don't. [01:14:48] Speaker C: Too much. [01:14:49] Speaker A: Too much Kov. [01:14:51] Speaker C: No. [01:14:51] Speaker A: Skov. Skov. You're from Skov? Cuz you had to go through the D underneath. Yes, from Skonikov. [01:14:58] Speaker D: I pick up the rock. [01:15:00] Speaker A: Okay. [01:15:03] Speaker D: And I go, mom. Do I connect? Do I connect? [01:15:14] Speaker C: I want to know what Greg's mom sounds like. [01:15:17] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. You know, Micah, inspiration just for making me do this. This insanity. Inspiration for making me do this. [01:15:28] Speaker B: I said mom. [01:15:29] Speaker C: Abby said mom. [01:15:31] Speaker A: Oh. I was like, you're gonna make me come up with your mom on the fly? [01:15:38] Speaker D: I'll take it. [01:15:39] Speaker B: Are you doing mine? [01:15:40] Speaker D: I'll do Mom. [01:15:41] Speaker A: Okay, so take inspiration, Abby. Take inspiration. [01:15:44] Speaker B: Wait. Give it to Micah. You said. [01:15:47] Speaker A: You said it. [01:15:48] Speaker D: You were. [01:15:51] Speaker B: You guys really want me to. [01:15:55] Speaker A: Okay, Micah, do you want me to tell you or do you want to tell me what Craig's mom Is like. Or do you want me to just go with it? [01:16:04] Speaker D: Go with it. [01:16:06] Speaker A: Excellent. Craig, you. You pick up the stone and call your mother. Oh, who is Craig's mother? Mom. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's do this thing, dude. Let's do this thing. You. You connect mentally to your mother. Wow. What am I doing here? Okay, okay. [01:16:25] Speaker C: Last time you talk to her. [01:16:26] Speaker A: Do this. Zach, who's not. You're not tired. Let's go. All right. You feel the connection, Craig? What do you say? [01:16:36] Speaker D: Mom, it's Craig. [01:16:44] Speaker A: What? [01:16:46] Speaker D: Mom, it's Craig. [01:16:53] Speaker A: I am hearing voice and seal. [01:17:00] Speaker D: Fine. No, it's okay. I'm using magic. I'm Craig. Yes. Craig. [01:17:07] Speaker A: Oh, have you come home? Where are you? [01:17:15] Speaker D: I'm. I'm actually in a bathroom. [01:17:17] Speaker A: Wait for me to come out of bathroom. I cannot see you anywhere. [01:17:24] Speaker D: You're in the bathroom. [01:17:26] Speaker A: I am washing hands. Stay in the kitchen. Are you hungry? I. Oh, the Cavkins drove you away. Have you come back? [01:17:40] Speaker D: Are they gone? [01:17:42] Speaker E: Are you. [01:17:43] Speaker A: Do you punch pirates like they say? Who are you? I've heard. Oh. Where are you? I'm in the kitchen. You sell right next to me. [01:17:53] Speaker D: I'm in a different town, Mom. [01:17:57] Speaker A: This is how your father was at the end. Oh, no. I am losing my mind. [01:18:03] Speaker D: Mom, you're not dying. [01:18:04] Speaker A: I'm dying. I'm dying until I'm dying. Get me alcohol. [01:18:16] Speaker D: I don't know how you're living. [01:18:18] Speaker A: Give me a persuasion check. [01:18:20] Speaker B: A persuasion check. [01:18:29] Speaker D: That is gonna be how. Don't. [01:18:33] Speaker A: With advantage, it's your mother. With advantage, it's your mother. Are you rolling? Die. [01:18:41] Speaker D: That's better. Don't judge me. I packed early this morning. Persuasion check. [01:18:52] Speaker A: Let's go. [01:18:53] Speaker D: Power. Hold on. [01:18:54] Speaker A: Show me that charisma. [01:18:56] Speaker D: Plus three. So that'd be 17. [01:19:02] Speaker A: She says. [01:19:03] Speaker D: Craig. [01:19:03] Speaker A: So you have access to magic? [01:19:06] Speaker D: Yes. [01:19:07] Speaker A: So you have access to magic. And you have not talked to your mother in two years. In two years, I have not heard from you. [01:19:15] Speaker B: Two years. [01:19:16] Speaker A: Catherine threw you out of home. You feel disgraceful. You are not at mine. Where are you at mine? Who is managing mine? Aaron. Alone, without father? I don't know. What would your father say? Have you been? Are you hungry? You're not here in kitchen. I cannot feed you. You never eat enough. [01:19:41] Speaker D: I'm gonna explain. [01:19:42] Speaker A: Always such a thick boy. So strong. You lifted when your child lifted whole large stories on. Very strong. You should come home. I cannot move wardrobe without you. They're so heavy. [01:19:59] Speaker D: Mom, I want to come home. But that's the problem. [01:20:02] Speaker A: It's all. Never moves anything. What? Craig, Speak up. [01:20:09] Speaker D: I have. You know how I feel about the. [01:20:14] Speaker B: C. [01:20:17] Speaker A: That they are scum of Earth. [01:20:20] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:20:21] Speaker A: So you will crash on their booth. Blood will run in the street. What is new, Craig? [01:20:27] Speaker D: Well, they. They don't like me as much as I don't like them now. Okay? And so I can't go home, because if I go home. [01:20:38] Speaker A: So the rumors are true? [01:20:40] Speaker D: Yes. [01:20:42] Speaker A: What rumors? [01:20:44] Speaker D: Which ones? Yes. [01:20:45] Speaker A: You are pirate. [01:20:47] Speaker D: I'm not a pirate. [01:20:48] Speaker A: My son a pirate. A criminal. [01:20:51] Speaker E: You are. [01:20:51] Speaker A: You are manager of whole mind had father's job. And now you are pirate. [01:20:56] Speaker D: No, criminal. I'm saving the world. [01:20:58] Speaker A: Black magic, Mom. [01:21:00] Speaker D: I'm saving the world. There's a lot of people that want to kill. [01:21:04] Speaker A: Everyone's job is important. [01:21:09] Speaker D: What did she say? [01:21:11] Speaker A: Everyone's job is important. But that's not. [01:21:14] Speaker D: I agree. [01:21:15] Speaker A: Pirates do not save anything, Craig. They are pirates. That is crime. [01:21:21] Speaker D: I fought pirates. I'm not a pirate. Hey, Mom. [01:21:26] Speaker A: Frustration check at advantage, Craig. [01:21:29] Speaker D: Okay. [01:21:31] Speaker A: So sad. Landon's missing this. [01:21:36] Speaker D: Okay, we got a 22. [01:21:38] Speaker A: 22. [01:21:40] Speaker F: She goes. [01:21:41] Speaker A: Oh, that is a relief. I thought you were disgrace. Okay, so you are. What are you then? You are. You are. Why? How? You've left your family there. And you know, they're not there either. I went the other day to home. Closed door, closed. No one there. Everyone's gone. Are they all sleep? [01:22:00] Speaker D: No, I. I took them to a place because I was afraid that they were in danger. [01:22:10] Speaker A: Am I in danger? My last name is also Dudley. Craig, am I also in danger? [01:22:18] Speaker D: I'm not sure. That's what I'm wondering. [01:22:20] Speaker B: I'm calling. [01:22:21] Speaker A: Fine. [01:22:22] Speaker D: I'm callin. [01:22:23] Speaker A: But doesn't rescue me. That's fine. Laugh into the mic. Dang it, Micah. Laugh into the mic. People have to know I'm funny. [01:22:38] Speaker D: Are there any pins around or did they flee? [01:22:42] Speaker A: I mean, I. They have not fled, but they are not here. The Empire has all but left Piasta. I have not paid taxes. Stupid Kafkins. We've saved so much money. They're stupid. But no, they're not here. I mean, there is a commander who stays, but they, you know, they have left Shkonikov. And I have said it is because I don't know why they have left. But they should be scared of us. We still have Bjustin fighting spirit and we could kill them. [01:23:20] Speaker D: You were frozen. We had to reconnect the Internet. [01:23:23] Speaker A: Oh, okay. So she said. She was saying. She was saying the Kafkans are gone and I have not paid taxes in months. They are stupid. And I think they have left because they know better that whatever is going wrong in their filthy, disgusting, loser empire that they should stay out of Shkodnikov. Because. Because if they are having problems, they'll have problems here first. I will crack skulls. I never killed a Kafkin, but I think I could do this. [01:23:52] Speaker C: Their bones are Craig's mom. I want to be best friends with her. [01:23:57] Speaker D: So Mom, I'm thinking about bring. I I. I'm wondering if it's safe for my friend that return Cat and Aaron. [01:24:13] Speaker A: I mean, I don't know dudes. We're pretty far inland with pirates come this far. [01:24:21] Speaker D: No, probably not pirates. [01:24:25] Speaker A: You've learned so much about the pirates. No, it's not. [01:24:29] Speaker C: It's. [01:24:29] Speaker A: I mean, there are not many. Were you in trouble with Kevkins? [01:24:33] Speaker D: Yes, my boy. I know. Are you proud? [01:24:39] Speaker B: Yes. [01:24:40] Speaker D: Yes. Yeah. [01:24:41] Speaker A: The Marin is never wrong. My son. Your father would be proud. [01:24:45] Speaker C: Oh, I'm writing that one down. [01:24:49] Speaker A: Okay. Careful that I'm not sucking you into real gen. Real propaganda, Jackie. [01:24:53] Speaker C: No, I know. [01:24:54] Speaker A: Yes. [01:24:55] Speaker C: Not stupid. [01:24:58] Speaker D: I want you to know because I know that you'll be proud of this. Me and my. Me and my pals are the ones that killed Doth. [01:25:09] Speaker A: No. [01:25:13] Speaker D: No. [01:25:15] Speaker A: Craig for Dantley. Do not lie to me. [01:25:18] Speaker D: I did not. It is true, Mom. I'm actually in the town that I killed him in right now. [01:25:26] Speaker A: Swear on your cat. [01:25:29] Speaker D: I love my. I love her and I will. I swear on Cat. [01:25:34] Speaker A: Killoth my son kill Tolgoth. [01:25:37] Speaker D: Yes. [01:25:40] Speaker A: I am crying of gosh. They will be silent at club Ah. My son killed all go. She's a. I have. [01:25:54] Speaker D: But mom, you have to be careful who you parade this in front of. [01:25:58] Speaker A: Because I'm going to tell everyone. [01:26:00] Speaker D: Oh no, I guess everybody already knows. [01:26:05] Speaker A: They tell me to shut up. I'll tell them my son will come kill you. Which brings me back to how my son has not visited me in two years. [01:26:17] Speaker D: Craig, I am really want me to. [01:26:20] Speaker A: Make you famous about your killing General but you have not come and said hi to your mother. [01:26:25] Speaker D: You know, I. I think I might bring. I think I might bring Eric Cat back and obviously, you know, like the whole family and maybe I'll have like a nice little reunion Wife. [01:26:38] Speaker A: Girls. [01:26:39] Speaker B: What did he say? [01:26:40] Speaker C: What did you say? [01:26:42] Speaker A: She said. She said as long as it's not his skank wife. Oh, Craig's. Craig's. Craig's kin's prejudice. Yeah, he comes by it honestly. [01:26:51] Speaker D: Yeah, mom, she's. [01:26:54] Speaker A: She can stay. [01:26:56] Speaker D: She's not what you think. [01:26:58] Speaker A: Is she Kevkin? [01:26:59] Speaker D: I know we won't see eye to eye. [01:27:01] Speaker A: Is she? [01:27:01] Speaker D: Kevin, you know what? [01:27:04] Speaker A: You know how we pronounce Kefkin in Biastin? [01:27:07] Speaker C: Oh, no. [01:27:08] Speaker B: Trash. [01:27:12] Speaker A: Cannot pull. [01:27:13] Speaker D: I'll come visit you. And I love you. [01:27:18] Speaker A: I love you. Have you eaten? Are you hungry? [01:27:22] Speaker D: I have. Okay, I've eaten well, and I've gotten. [01:27:27] Speaker A: How long is your beard? Is it braids strong or. You're already so strong. [01:27:33] Speaker D: Well, mom, I look a little different. Saw me. [01:27:40] Speaker A: It's fine. [01:27:42] Speaker D: I've had some battle scars. [01:27:45] Speaker A: Good. [01:27:47] Speaker D: It is good. However, I did get burned. [01:27:50] Speaker A: Have you lost an eye? Your grandfather had a lost eye. That is good. Lost eye is good. [01:27:58] Speaker D: I'll keep you posted. But so far my beard just burned, and then it's regrowing. Now you have no beard, but it's regrowing. Everything's. It's fine. [01:28:09] Speaker B: Everything. [01:28:09] Speaker A: Son, I love you more than stars and moon, but do not come home without beard. Do not come home without beard. Is have you not seen me in year? Because you have not hit beard. If that is the case, I understand. There is nothing. [01:28:24] Speaker D: At first I was afraid to see you because I got kicked out of my own home. And then I was afraid to see because I was in trouble with the cast. And now I can't see because I have beard. No beard. [01:28:35] Speaker A: That is not disgraceful. [01:28:36] Speaker F: That is good. [01:28:36] Speaker A: Okay, well, grow your beard and then come see your mother. [01:28:42] Speaker D: Well, Mom, I got to let you go right now so I can. [01:28:47] Speaker A: It is so good to hear from you. I do you. If you had black magics, you should have called me earlier. This pirate magic should be used for to call your mother. [01:28:55] Speaker D: I agree. I'll call you more. Mom, I love you. [01:29:01] Speaker A: I love you. And I need another meal slots for more filthy. [01:29:08] Speaker D: Bye, mom. [01:29:10] Speaker A: People, how does this work? And then you're. So you guys hear Craig's half of that conversation? [01:29:22] Speaker B: Craig, what are you doing? What is Craig doing while he has this conversation? [01:29:26] Speaker C: Yeah, were you pacing? Were you pacing? [01:29:29] Speaker D: He's pacing and then he makes hand motions that you can see a teenage boy boy making. He's like, I don't know, Mom. Like, I just, you know, I don't know. You know, he's. He like, sounds more like a son than like a husband or like. [01:29:47] Speaker B: Or a battle goth killer adventurer. [01:29:50] Speaker D: Yeah, he sounds more like a son. So, yeah, I. I think it might be safe for them to go back. At least for right now. [01:30:04] Speaker B: Okay. [01:30:06] Speaker C: It's whatever you want to do. I guess we can do some Traveling, Teleporting. Was there a teleportation circle at F Moon Kai's? [01:30:21] Speaker A: I don't think there was no. You all got nearby. A high level clerical spell he had that took him back to a prepared temple. [01:30:29] Speaker C: That's right. I just didn't know if there was a teleportation circle there. [01:30:32] Speaker F: No, not there. Not there. [01:30:34] Speaker C: Okay, well, I mean I. We can just do the whole teleport thing. [01:30:41] Speaker A: You all are about at this point in the conversation. Before. [01:30:48] Speaker C: I go open the door, I open the door. [01:30:52] Speaker A: Knocking gets impatient. [01:30:54] Speaker B: Hello. [01:30:54] Speaker A: You knock it. And as you open it, there is a tall thin man, very overly dressed in coats and heavy pants, and someone who clearly doesn't like the cold. And the little wisps of his thinning gray hair stick out from beneath his thick cap. And he's just turned around shouting, no. [01:31:15] Speaker E: One wants you here. Go. [01:31:18] Speaker A: No, I know them. Shut up. [01:31:20] Speaker E: Hello, Rowan. [01:31:21] Speaker A: And as you look up there is farmer Frederick Kelto, who you met about a year ago, whose crops. And he's, he's sat there, he's got like this like bundled like, like hempen sackcloth, just bundle in an arm and. [01:31:36] Speaker E: He goes, let me in. There are sycophants out here and they're. [01:31:40] Speaker A: No, he wouldn't know that word. [01:31:42] Speaker E: There are leeches out here and they're stupid and bad. Let me in. [01:31:48] Speaker C: Yeah, immediately let him in. [01:31:50] Speaker A: Just barges past you and he like trails like snow in on his boots. [01:31:55] Speaker E: And he goes, nice home venturing. Pays well. [01:32:00] Speaker A: And he puts whatever the packet, the bundle he has down on the table. [01:32:05] Speaker F: And he goes. [01:32:11] Speaker D: What. [01:32:11] Speaker C: What have you brought? [01:32:15] Speaker E: Use your manners. Say hello first. Ridiculous youths. [01:32:20] Speaker B: Hello. [01:32:21] Speaker C: Hello. [01:32:22] Speaker D: Welcome. [01:32:23] Speaker E: I remember, I'll get my own chair. [01:32:25] Speaker A: And he pulls the chair out and sits down. And then he gets back up, takes his coat off. [01:32:30] Speaker C: Take your coat. [01:32:31] Speaker A: Yeah, sits back down. [01:32:33] Speaker E: It's fine. It's off now. [01:32:35] Speaker B: Do I remember this person? [01:32:37] Speaker A: Yes. This was the farm farmer who when you guys first around in town, the. The old weird curmudgeon who had the problem with his crops where you guys were like going to talk to the Beatles. But then that didn't work. So Boz and Roe wound up casting plant growth on the whole town to help with his crops. But then it wound up helping the crops in the whole town. He was like this weird old curmudgeon you saw a year ago who like thought you guys were weird, but kind of like he was like, he was like a weird. Like he's on the edge of town because nobody to wants to be near him. And that's just. He's back. [01:33:09] Speaker E: Well, you all returned. [01:33:13] Speaker B: Say hello. [01:33:13] Speaker A: Hi. [01:33:14] Speaker B: It's good to see you. [01:33:15] Speaker D: How are your. [01:33:16] Speaker E: Yes. [01:33:17] Speaker D: How are your crops? [01:33:18] Speaker E: Yeah, they were excellent. Your magics were strange and you are green. But they're quite good. The magics. It's. It's. The crops have never been so good. My wheat was plentiful. So much wheat. [01:33:37] Speaker D: Oh. [01:33:37] Speaker A: He like gets lost for a moment. [01:33:40] Speaker E: But I've made good call with this here. So I've come to repay you because I have to obligation. [01:33:48] Speaker C: Oh no you don't. [01:33:50] Speaker E: I must. Don't lecture me on manners, youths. [01:33:56] Speaker A: And he turns his. Starts unwrapping the bundle on the table. [01:34:00] Speaker B: Aw. [01:34:01] Speaker A: And there in like a. It's. It is truly a lump of bread. A massive lump. Like just like a. Like a. Like a massive like mound of it. It's like a foot across and like 10 inches tall. [01:34:20] Speaker E: And he goes, I brought you home bread. [01:34:24] Speaker B: Oh, what was the second word? Who taught us what? Bread. [01:34:29] Speaker E: Home bread. [01:34:31] Speaker B: Home bread. [01:34:32] Speaker D: I love bread. [01:34:35] Speaker C: We really do. They have tattoos of bread. [01:34:38] Speaker E: Respectable folk. But I have bread for the holidays. For your days of last night. [01:34:45] Speaker C: Thank you. [01:34:45] Speaker E: I do not want to be in your debt. So I over leveled it. [01:34:53] Speaker B: Love. [01:34:53] Speaker A: That was in character. [01:34:56] Speaker C: Thank you. You didn't have to do this. We truly appreciate it. [01:35:01] Speaker E: I'm not sure how cultured you are being foreigners. Do you know what home bread is? [01:35:10] Speaker B: No, I don't. [01:35:11] Speaker C: I. I. Bread for your home bread that you made at home. I mean, it smells amazing. [01:35:20] Speaker E: We make bread. It is like a home. Well, the outside is hard and in. [01:35:25] Speaker A: The center it is soft. [01:35:26] Speaker E: Mine is quite good. So you made it through your days of last night. [01:35:31] Speaker C: I love that. Wait. Dm. Would I have known that living in there. [01:35:36] Speaker A: You are from a culture on the other side of the world. [01:36:01] Speaker E: Obviously. [01:36:03] Speaker B: Huh? [01:36:04] Speaker E: Obviously. But I will make you more. [01:36:08] Speaker B: More. [01:36:08] Speaker E: If you are so greedy as to eat it now. I suppose it'll be too cold by then. So you may eat it now. And I will make you more. You did get me quite a bit of gold in. I mean, I made gold. Multiple gold. [01:36:22] Speaker C: That's amazing. [01:36:23] Speaker E: So. [01:36:23] Speaker A: And I do owe you multiple breads. [01:36:45] Speaker A: They can strike up another baker coming for our jobs. [01:36:55] Speaker C: I. I was just. [01:36:56] Speaker E: How experienced is he? [01:36:59] Speaker C: She is. [01:37:00] Speaker E: She. [01:37:01] Speaker C: I. Yeah, I just thought. [01:37:03] Speaker E: Times, they are changing. [01:37:06] Speaker D: All I'm. [01:37:15] Speaker C: I. I don't know exactly. [01:37:17] Speaker B: Her own bakery. [01:37:20] Speaker C: But she owned her own bakery? [01:37:23] Speaker B: I don't know. [01:37:24] Speaker E: She have a supplier? [01:37:27] Speaker C: That's what I was gonna ask you. [01:37:28] Speaker A: You. [01:37:28] Speaker C: If you would. If. [01:37:38] Speaker E: Is this an exclusive agreement for business? [01:37:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:37:43] Speaker B: Until she gets here. [01:37:44] Speaker C: Yeah, but I think that would be good because, I mean, you. You make great wheat. [01:37:49] Speaker B: That's so true. [01:37:50] Speaker E: She also green, actually. [01:37:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:37:56] Speaker A: All right. [01:37:59] Speaker C: Okay. [01:38:00] Speaker E: I will work with your bread. Green person. [01:38:05] Speaker B: Okay. [01:38:17] Speaker E: Like you have to say her name three times. [01:38:21] Speaker C: Yeah, like Craig's saying. [01:38:22] Speaker A: Foreigners. [01:38:24] Speaker E: Well, if she proves herself worthy in a year's time, I will teach her my own bread. [01:38:29] Speaker C: That would be amazing. I think she would love that. Yeah. [01:38:31] Speaker B: Trade recipes in a year's time. Once she's proving herself worthy, of course. [01:38:35] Speaker C: Yeah, of course. [01:38:37] Speaker E: You're good neighbors. Fungies. How much bread you actually owe us. [01:40:09] Speaker E: I just thought you might need more bread cooked around the holiday. [01:40:12] Speaker C: No, we would love. [01:40:13] Speaker B: I would love some more bread cooked. [01:40:14] Speaker C: Yeah, we would just. We don't. We don't want to like. We don't want to overstep, like. [01:40:20] Speaker E: Yeah, leave your garden fallow. It won't grow right in the spring. You need someone to overlook it. [01:40:28] Speaker B: What? What? [01:40:33] Speaker E: I will see you all later. [01:40:34] Speaker A: And he grabs his hat. [01:40:36] Speaker C: Wait, what did he say? [01:40:38] Speaker A: He just. And he grabs his coat and puts. [01:40:41] Speaker E: It on and he goes, Good day, fungus. I look forward to your green baker and your silent friend. [01:40:48] Speaker A: And he just. [01:40:49] Speaker D: Thank you. [01:40:49] Speaker B: We look forward to more home bread. [01:40:52] Speaker A: He opens the door back up. [01:40:54] Speaker B: I. I look forward to more home bread. [01:40:59] Speaker E: You haven't tried it yet. [01:41:01] Speaker B: She started tearing off. She's like got our hands like in the loaf. [01:41:04] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:41:05] Speaker E: Was it good? [01:41:09] Speaker B: You taste it? Oh, very good. The perfect. Just the perfect amount of hard on the outside and soft on the inside. I think you have to. Yeah. [01:41:20] Speaker E: Yes. [01:41:21] Speaker A: And he just shuts the door and he's off. Greta? It's very good. Very weird. It's different. The outside is very hard, like hardtack hard. But then the inside is very soft. You're not exactly sure. And the outside is thick. It's got like a shell. Like, like, it's like. It's like half an inch of hard bread. And then it gets like a little softer and then very soft in the middle. It's. You're not exactly sure how this is done, but. Okay. Mike is just over there flinching. Abby. Also because Yalls laptop is so far back, I feel like I'm like entering interviewing you. This is like a zoom meeting or something. You're so far away. [01:42:04] Speaker D: Funny like, oh, my hair. [01:42:08] Speaker A: Why does. Micah. Micah, is your. Is your mic dead? [01:42:12] Speaker B: Huh? [01:42:14] Speaker D: Is it dead? Yeah. [01:42:18] Speaker F: Okay. [01:42:22] Speaker C: Check this out. [01:42:27] Speaker D: No, no, turn it on. [01:42:30] Speaker A: Maybe you may need to charge it for a second. You just stuck a charger in it. It may need some time. [01:42:36] Speaker C: That's true. It may need to turn on. [01:42:39] Speaker A: She plugged a charger and it was like. Is it working? Is it working? Is it working? Is it working? [01:42:44] Speaker B: Can you use the pilots charging? [01:42:47] Speaker C: Yeah, it says you can before. [01:42:50] Speaker A: Before. Sometime later. Dorne reports back to you all and he has brought five able bodied, various different peoples who all look fairly excited to be meeting the fun guys. But are Sarah is with them, and she prevents herself and says. Presents herself and says, hello. [01:43:11] Speaker F: I've heard that the fun guys were. [01:43:13] Speaker A: In need of sale. [01:43:15] Speaker D: Yes. [01:43:15] Speaker C: Aye, aye. [01:43:16] Speaker A: Oh, also, she's like a half elven woman with sort of like very curly black hair. And she's shorter. That's her. And she goes, all right, well, I. [01:43:32] Speaker F: Would gladly sail your vessel. This is a journey of. [01:43:36] Speaker A: You are just looking to take it. [01:43:38] Speaker F: From sea to here. [01:43:40] Speaker C: Correct? And it'd be like, take us to the vessel. Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'll be with you the whole time. And I can. I can sail some as well. Because it's. [01:43:54] Speaker A: Because, like, take a ship to go get a ship. [01:43:57] Speaker C: No, no, no. So we're all gonna hold hands and. And I'm going. I. With magic. If you guys are comfortable with it. She looks at each person in the eyes. With your consent, I'm going to. To bring us there. [01:44:22] Speaker A: I'm gonna take us all the way to. I think. [01:44:25] Speaker G: Would it be. Would it be better if we treat it there? I mean, just to be more guaranteed? I mean, it would be unfortunate. I mean, isn't it, like a 1% chance of, like, things going wrong, even though that we know the poor better? Is it guaranteed? [01:44:39] Speaker A: No, you're, like, super familiar with it. [01:44:41] Speaker D: We're good. [01:44:41] Speaker A: Okay. [01:44:42] Speaker C: Because I figured. I figured you'd come with me and you could take Spaghuber in Nam back. [01:44:47] Speaker A: I mean, to be clear, Landon, I think I can do it directly, interpreting that there is some. Some like 5% chance. But I'm not gonna make you roll for that. That's stupid. You've been there a thousand times. [01:44:55] Speaker G: I can do it. Like, I have enough spell slots. I can upcast it. [01:44:58] Speaker C: I think it's up to you. I mean, I can. I can teleport us there and that. Well, that way you can. We don't have seven balls. Yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. [01:45:09] Speaker A: You do. And also, I think transport via plants might be a six level spell, but I could be wrong. [01:45:13] Speaker G: It is. So I can upcast it and do. [01:45:15] Speaker C: True. [01:45:16] Speaker G: I can go there at that. [01:45:18] Speaker C: But that way you could. If Craig wants to go somewhere. I don't know. You don't have to wait. [01:45:23] Speaker A: I'm sorry. So you magically take us to. [01:45:26] Speaker C: Yeah. Somehow we will magically take you to the ship. The two. [01:45:32] Speaker G: There's no reason where Craig is from. [01:45:35] Speaker A: Oh, that's true. [01:45:37] Speaker C: Two people are going to. Or we're going to pick them up, take them back here. But me and the. You guys are gonna Sail the ship to the land and it'll be like a week and a half. [01:45:54] Speaker B: Ish. [01:45:54] Speaker C: And we're down to pay. [01:45:56] Speaker F: You said it was a pay position. [01:45:58] Speaker C: Yes, a gold a day. Is that cool with y'? [01:46:00] Speaker B: All? [01:46:01] Speaker A: And the guy talking to you, is this like very short? He's. He is Dwarven. He also has some human features and he's a bit tall. He's like a half dwarf. And. And there is. There are three major kingdoms in Narana. There is a human kingdom, Telnam. And then there's also a Dwarven and an Elven one. [01:46:18] Speaker F: And he goes, I go to die. [01:46:21] Speaker C: That. That. [01:46:22] Speaker F: Yeah, I can do that. [01:46:24] Speaker D: Okay. [01:46:27] Speaker F: Or do I go to D? [01:46:30] Speaker B: I have a quick question. [01:46:34] Speaker D: What are yalls? Yes. Experience levels. [01:46:39] Speaker A: I've been a sailor for 12 years. [01:46:43] Speaker D: I trust you. [01:46:44] Speaker C: Sick. [01:46:45] Speaker A: These are folks who are able bodied who I can teach the man the rigging and sails of a ship. [01:46:50] Speaker B: When Craig says I trust you, I like pat Craig on the shoulder and. [01:46:53] Speaker D: I say, craig, I trust them all. [01:46:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:46:59] Speaker D: Yes. [01:46:59] Speaker A: The half dormant guy goes. [01:47:04] Speaker C: Now I do have to inform you guys that it's quite a small vessel. It's had some damage recently, but we fixed it. [01:47:14] Speaker D: There are how many sails? [01:47:18] Speaker C: No sail. [01:47:20] Speaker A: There are some changed looks. [01:47:21] Speaker C: It goes by magic. And there are like kind of bunks underneath, but like you can't. [01:47:33] Speaker A: Where you steal the helm. [01:47:34] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. [01:47:36] Speaker A: Incredible. [01:47:37] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:47:38] Speaker F: Fascinating. [01:47:40] Speaker A: And so you just want us to bring it here to Teom? To which town? [01:47:47] Speaker C: Just to the closest land that we can pull up at. And then I'll teleport us back. Yeah, and then I'll teleport us back here. [01:47:55] Speaker A: That's quite simple. [01:47:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:47:57] Speaker A: Excellent. And so you're to be with us, correct? Dawn was speaking of, of, of a week or so. [01:48:06] Speaker C: Yes, correct. [01:48:07] Speaker A: Might I ask why you're with us on the ship? [01:48:12] Speaker C: I just figured I would stay with it in that way I could. [01:48:16] Speaker A: It's your ship. Understood. I can understand why you would be concerned about it. I am no thief. [01:48:23] Speaker C: No, no, I trust you guys. Like Craig said. I just. I think Roe is like, she wants. [01:48:31] Speaker A: Me either. [01:48:35] Speaker C: So like RO is like kind of wanting this because like to her like the poor bet was like her first like stable home like we talked about. And I think she's wanting like one last like sail with it, I think. And so she's like. And she's wanting like that time to like. Because she's like been able to like navigate. She's like, wants to prove to herself she can do it or something. [01:49:00] Speaker F: Absolutely. Absolutely. [01:49:02] Speaker A: So se says. All right. [01:49:04] Speaker F: Well, I. [01:49:06] Speaker A: We would gladly accept those terms and we will sail the vessel for you. Cool. [01:49:12] Speaker B: Ro, do you want someone to go with you? [01:49:16] Speaker C: It's up to you guys. Seriously. Up to you guys. I'm down to just go. [01:49:28] Speaker B: Okay. [01:49:30] Speaker D: That was such a. [01:49:32] Speaker A: All right. I mean boss, you're go ahead. [01:49:38] Speaker B: No, we should probably have. You or Boz are the. Are the fast traveling people. So one of you guys should probably stay here while the other is away. [01:49:47] Speaker C: Well, yeah, I figured Balls was just gonna. Because I can't teleport them in one day. I figured Boz and I would go and then Boz bring Shbagoober, Raccoon and Nam back and any stuff that's on the ship that we need. Yeah, if that. I mean Balls. What are you thinking? [01:50:11] Speaker G: It's fine with me. I would just have to wait another day to take Craig home. So we wouldn't do that today, but we could do this tomorrow. [01:50:21] Speaker D: I don't have to go. [01:50:25] Speaker A: Who's still unnamed half dwarven fellow who has a big really dense curly ginger beard and curly mop of hair. [01:50:31] Speaker F: He goes, I think he should come with us. He looks like he could have oldest B. [01:50:37] Speaker A: You guys aren't familiar with what that phrase means? [01:50:40] Speaker D: That one? [01:50:43] Speaker F: What. [01:50:47] Speaker D: That let you sit? [01:50:50] Speaker A: Boss, he like looks where he's standing. [01:50:53] Speaker B: He's gonna let you sit in the piss. [01:50:56] Speaker D: The piss of this. [01:50:59] Speaker F: Was a piece of it. [01:51:02] Speaker D: Oh my God. [01:51:02] Speaker B: You know what an abyss is? [01:51:04] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:51:05] Speaker B: No. [01:51:05] Speaker C: It's an abyss where you darkest. [01:51:08] Speaker B: Imagine like the darkest place you've ever seen. You don't know how far it goes or how deep it is. You got that right. Now fill it with piss. [01:51:21] Speaker C: I could row looks to row looks to credit expression. The Pissabys. It made me think I could. I could pull up the mansion while I'm on the ship for anyone that needed to use the pissabys. [01:51:33] Speaker B: And that made you think about the piss abyss? [01:51:35] Speaker C: It made me think about it because remember I made piss abysses in the mansion. Oh, you did. [01:51:40] Speaker A: You did? [01:51:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:51:44] Speaker A: All of the hired hands are just exchanging glances, looking so confused. Severa chimes in. She goes, I love the idea that filled with urine. [01:51:59] Speaker B: I love them. No, no, there's no piss on them, but. [01:52:02] Speaker C: And if anyone has an accident, I can clean it up like that. [01:52:08] Speaker D: I love the idea. [01:52:09] Speaker A: And all of these strangers who have no concept of what you mean magically look so confused and concerned. [01:52:17] Speaker D: He wants to clean up my piss. [01:52:20] Speaker A: And the half dwarven guy just goes. [01:52:24] Speaker F: All right, that's useful for piss drunk. [01:52:28] Speaker B: I love. I love the idea that anyone. Anyone, like all of the strangers are like, wow. Wow, the fun guys, wow, they're here. The heroes. They saved the world, and they. And they saved our taxes, and they. [01:52:38] Speaker D: Gave us good food. [01:52:39] Speaker B: And then anyone who meets us is like, oh. [01:52:44] Speaker A: Okay. [01:52:46] Speaker C: All they talk about is pisses. [01:52:53] Speaker D: So the good news is you only have to deal with one of us or two of us on the boat, so this won't be a problem anymore. [01:53:06] Speaker C: The thing is, I guess I just feel like I should be there in case some. You know, there's a lot of stuff in the ocean. I have a little bit of magic. If anyone needs something, you know, I can. [01:53:18] Speaker D: We want you there. [01:53:23] Speaker C: As she has a sick strength, and they're looking at her like, this girl's. [01:53:27] Speaker A: Gonna protect us. [01:53:29] Speaker B: Ro, do you want. [01:53:30] Speaker D: Another person there, or are you good. [01:53:32] Speaker B: To just drive it out on your own? [01:53:33] Speaker C: She. [01:53:33] Speaker B: She. [01:53:34] Speaker D: She. [01:53:34] Speaker C: She does the. [01:53:35] Speaker A: This. [01:53:36] Speaker C: She, like, points over to the. To the dude with the beard. She's like, this guy. He seems tough. We'll be good. [01:53:43] Speaker A: He smiles and he's. He's got, like, maybe 20 teeth in his mouth, which is most of them, but he's missing a couple in the front and one on the side, and he goes. [01:53:59] Speaker D: Okay. [01:54:01] Speaker C: I mean, will you guys be okay? Like, we weren't planning on, like, you know, murking, you know? She says. She says in. Dang it. She doesn't know any languages that y' all know. She says. She says, like, no, wait, what? I know in. In a little bit of celestial. Like, we know a little bit. [01:54:23] Speaker A: Y'. [01:54:23] Speaker C: All. [01:54:23] Speaker A: You guys are starting your, like, conjugations. You're in. Donde esty banyo? Level of celestial, my guy. [01:54:31] Speaker C: We have 89 hours. [01:54:33] Speaker A: Great. You're in. [01:54:37] Speaker C: What? I know the word kill. [01:54:39] Speaker A: Roll a D100 for me. [01:54:41] Speaker B: Okay. [01:54:42] Speaker C: I just want to say kill hag to Greta. [01:54:46] Speaker A: Okay. [01:54:48] Speaker D: Okay. [01:54:48] Speaker A: Need your level or lower to know those words. [01:54:51] Speaker C: My level or lower? So 14. [01:54:53] Speaker A: Divine intervention. This. [01:54:56] Speaker C: Oh, my God. I got a 15. [01:54:59] Speaker B: Oh, so close. [01:55:01] Speaker D: Do you have negative one intelligence or anything like that? [01:55:06] Speaker A: Ro looks at you and very confidently says, you know, if we need to. And you understand her to say if we need to. Dill bag. [01:55:21] Speaker B: I look at Craig like. Or like. I look at. And I'm like, huh? And then I say, yeah. [01:55:35] Speaker A: Tell'S just, like, near you. And he just leans over and whispers, and he goes, this is getting really out of hand. [01:55:42] Speaker F: In. [01:55:45] Speaker B: Okay, okay, okay. So Bozen and. And Ro are gonna Tree to the place. And then the next day, they're gonna. Boss is gonna tree tello no spaghuber and nom back. [01:56:01] Speaker A: I'm not going. [01:56:03] Speaker G: No, I'm gonna go there, and then I'm gonna come right back. [01:56:06] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:56:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. Okay. [01:56:10] Speaker G: And then maybe tomorrow we'll go get Craig's family and take them back to. [01:56:14] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:56:16] Speaker G: But then I'll have to stay there because I can't go get them from that mukai and take them to home and then come back on the. [01:56:23] Speaker A: Same day. [01:56:26] Speaker G: At the mountain. A day. [01:56:28] Speaker B: Also, there's no trees in the mountain. Craig, are there trees in the mountain? [01:56:33] Speaker D: True dm. Are there trees in the mountain? [01:56:36] Speaker B: No. [01:56:37] Speaker A: Now, if RO was there, if one of your party members didn't leave everyone else for a week of in game play, you could teleport there. [01:56:45] Speaker C: Okay, fine. [01:56:47] Speaker A: And then teleport back. I certainly planned for one of the party members to not be with the rest of the party for a week. That's what I thought was coming. [01:56:58] Speaker E: Oh. [01:56:59] Speaker A: Oh, sorry. [01:57:01] Speaker C: That's karma. Your fart smells so bad because you sassed me. [01:57:06] Speaker A: That's awful. [01:57:09] Speaker E: Crap. [01:57:11] Speaker C: Okay, fine. I guess. [01:57:19] Speaker D: We taking a trip to my hometown again. [01:57:22] Speaker A: You guys. [01:57:22] Speaker D: Are y' all excited? [01:57:23] Speaker C: Well, first of all, I got to get these guys. How about. Okay, okay. [01:57:29] Speaker A: Give me. [01:57:30] Speaker G: Let me just tree there. [01:57:31] Speaker C: Can you guys give me one? Oh, yeah, I can. Sure. Yeah. I just. [01:57:39] Speaker A: Episode 160. The fun guys go to a boat. [01:57:46] Speaker C: But yeah, sure. Just. Yeah, I guess balls just boss. You can't. I guess we're still gonna have to both go, though, right? [01:57:57] Speaker G: No, if. If we're just. I can go there and come back. [01:58:03] Speaker C: I thought you couldn't. [01:58:05] Speaker B: But you can still just go as. [01:58:07] Speaker G: A passenger if you want to just go. You can. [01:58:10] Speaker B: You could just go for a day and then come back. [01:58:14] Speaker G: I can pick you up tomorrow if you want to stay the night or something. [01:58:17] Speaker C: No, I mean, if. If. If it's tomorrow, then I can zap back. [01:58:25] Speaker B: So how many people do we have? How many people are we. [01:58:29] Speaker C: There's five in front of us. [01:58:32] Speaker B: There's five sailors that we're gonna take. [01:58:35] Speaker A: Okay, how about where it's like you need to get three animals across a river, but, like, you can't have them all, like, in the same place without each other at a certain time. Like, it's like a dog and a chicken and something. [01:58:46] Speaker B: This is that a dog, a chicken, and a bug. Who's. [01:58:50] Speaker C: Okay. [01:58:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:58:50] Speaker B: Okay. [01:58:51] Speaker C: We'll still do the same plan. We'll still do the same Plan. But I'll come back with you. So I'll teleport us all there, you'll tree us back, we'll rest, and then tomorrow we'll go get Craig's family. Yes. [01:59:10] Speaker B: So just to clarify, there's five people standing in front of us who are going to take over the boat while shipping come back. We're bringing Shiba, Goober, and Nam back when we come back? Yes. Okay. [01:59:21] Speaker A: My name's Gillum. [01:59:23] Speaker C: Gillum. Cool, huh? [01:59:29] Speaker A: Fishy skills. [01:59:30] Speaker C: I would like to. Okay. Yeah, sure. I'm making it. I was gonna ask some questions, but I don't need to. [01:59:40] Speaker F: Have you got a question? [01:59:41] Speaker C: I know. I was gonna. That's Jackie saying that she was gonna ask some questions. I was gonna call Spigo, but I. No, I still will call Spigober. [01:59:51] Speaker A: Mickel. Get in there, dude. Get in there. [01:59:55] Speaker D: Call my family. Okay. Oh, that's good. [02:00:00] Speaker B: I just should definitely give them a heads up. [02:00:02] Speaker C: I just figured we should also give a heads up. [02:00:06] Speaker B: That's also very respectful. [02:00:09] Speaker D: How many rocks do we have? [02:00:12] Speaker C: We have one. We gave the other in my mouth. [02:00:17] Speaker D: So I have dips. [02:00:19] Speaker C: I'm just. [02:00:20] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:00:20] Speaker A: Also listener. What you can't see is that Micah and Abby, one mic went out. So they have attached one of the mics to a pencil, and they're just passing it back and forth. [02:00:28] Speaker D: It's great. One time, she handed me the pencil and then immediately took it back before I could say something. It was really fun. [02:00:37] Speaker B: I love the pencil. [02:00:39] Speaker D: Okay, I'm gonna. Can I just go ahead and call? I'll just do the phone call. Is this okay? [02:00:44] Speaker B: Sure. [02:00:45] Speaker A: Something about this session has real, like. Like. Like episode 30 fun guys vibes. Like, we've gone back two and a half years, and it's kind of fun. [02:00:57] Speaker D: I make the call to Schmidt. Goober. [02:01:02] Speaker A: Craig. How have you been, Craig? Oh, that's your name, buddy. Have you been hit in the head again? I know combat can be hard. Are you okay now, friend? I'm spagh. Uber. Can you say spaghettuber? No. I think he's being struck in the head again. No, Mom, I know, I know. Greta's probably with him, but he never does the healing. [02:01:38] Speaker C: By my name. [02:01:42] Speaker A: I know now. I thought he could heal now, too. I think maybe something's wrong with his cabaza. Am I saying that correctly in Goblin? [02:01:51] Speaker B: I know. [02:01:55] Speaker A: Craig, are you there? He's speaking now, but he might be okay. Mom, I've learned that cabeza means head and God land. [02:02:05] Speaker D: Are you ready to be off the boat? [02:02:10] Speaker A: Yes. Don't we need to sail it back, though? [02:02:13] Speaker D: Nope. So we have a. [02:02:17] Speaker A: Thank you. Have you been drinking? I thought you specifically told everyone you don't drink. All the time. Even when they don't ask, I don't. [02:02:26] Speaker D: So I have this plan. We have this plan. Okay, so RO and boss are going to come to you. They're going to do a little magic, and they're going to get on a boat, and these are going to bring some people who are trained professionals, I'm sure, and can man the boat to where we are. But they're gonna. They're gonna magic back with you guys. [02:02:54] Speaker A: Okay? So we're going to work. [02:03:00] Speaker C: Tell him we have a bed for him, Craig. Tell him we have a bed for him and a hammock for Nom. [02:03:10] Speaker A: That's so fun. I mean, I love the boy life, but this is going to be such a good time. This is so exciting. Okay, you guys have to help me about Parsage. [02:03:19] Speaker D: Really good. [02:03:21] Speaker C: Craig, ask if there's enough rations. No, just ask if he has enough rations for. For some people. [02:03:29] Speaker D: Do you have enough r. Do you have enough rations for people? [02:03:33] Speaker A: Yeah, we've got, like, two months of food here. I mean, they're going to be eating a lot of fish and heart attack, but they've got a lot of food. [02:03:40] Speaker D: Okay. [02:03:42] Speaker A: You should probably. Well, if they've sailed before, they know about piercing over the side. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, they're good. [02:03:49] Speaker C: Okay. Into that abyss that's called the ocean. [02:03:53] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. So that's all I've got to tell you. You're gonna be. [02:03:59] Speaker A: It was all good to hear your wife. [02:04:02] Speaker D: Huh? [02:04:03] Speaker A: Huh? [02:04:04] Speaker D: What'd you say? [02:04:05] Speaker A: Sorry. There was a wife. My wave. I'll come back, Greg. [02:04:16] Speaker D: Bye. And then I call Cat. [02:04:24] Speaker A: Sorry. It's really hard to come down off of that. Hello again, Craig. [02:04:30] Speaker D: Hey, Cat. I actually. Why are you laughing? I got done talking to the party. You have? We have two options for you guys. We called my mom to see if the Kes were still active, like. Like, really, you know, a strong presence. [02:04:59] Speaker A: I haven't talked to your mom in, like, months. She didn't. [02:05:04] Speaker D: She went to go visit you guys, and we. [02:05:07] Speaker A: We haven't. We haven't talked about this, but there were a lot of things that were hard about you being gone, and your mother was one of them. It's a lot of attention not to be spread over her little pebble. Anyway, sorry, what were you saying? [02:05:23] Speaker D: No, yeah, I know that's tough. So, basically, y', all. Can I. I think it's worth trying to go back, because the Kes aren't back home there right now. [02:05:39] Speaker A: We can go back home. [02:05:41] Speaker D: I. Yeah, I don't think that they're there. They're just not there at all. Like, they left. Like, I don't know where they are. [02:05:48] Speaker A: Why would they be gone? They gone from Shkomikov or from all of Biasta. [02:05:53] Speaker D: It's, like, happening in a lot of places where I think that they're going to. And dm, can you refresh my mind on what Craig knows about, like, the. [02:06:06] Speaker A: Kevin have withdrawn from most of the empire. I mean, they're. They're like. There's, like, a presence in every nation, but a remnant. And they have withdrawn almost the. Almost all of their empire, like, back into the heart of the earthen bloom, and no one knows why. [02:06:24] Speaker D: So basically, they've, like, withdrawn back into the earth and bloom because they. Well, we don't actually know why, but there's, like, barely any left, like, within the nation. [02:06:37] Speaker A: Because if there's any left, it cannot be a good idea to go back. [02:06:42] Speaker D: Damn. Would there be any of them left or is it just. [02:06:47] Speaker A: Oh, your mom said they were gone. [02:06:51] Speaker D: Going off of what my mom said, it seems like they're gone now. If we get there and we're seeing, like, they're still there, we have an alternative, and it would be better than just living in isolation with Stu and. Okay, we've created a home, a little home. I say home, but this is our, like, second or third time, like, being here, but it's like a. A place that we can reside, and it's like, in a community. [02:07:27] Speaker A: On a boat, Craig. [02:07:29] Speaker D: No, no, it's not a boat. It's. It's an actual house. [02:07:32] Speaker A: Okay. [02:07:34] Speaker D: It's a great community. Everyone's actually amazing. It's a wonderful place. [02:07:41] Speaker A: Where is it? [02:07:44] Speaker D: It's in Narskana. [02:07:47] Speaker A: Wow, that is far. Okay. [02:07:53] Speaker D: But, I mean, we have the ability to travel magically. You know, I. Okay. [02:08:02] Speaker A: I mean, you know, Craig, honestly, yeah, if it. It would be good to get out of here. [02:08:06] Speaker D: So would you. Would you prefer. Would you want to chance going back home? Home? [02:08:14] Speaker A: I mean, if it's safe. Yes, absolutely. [02:08:21] Speaker D: I really want to make sure you guys are going to be safe. I'm gonna do a little bit more researching. [02:08:27] Speaker A: Okay. [02:08:28] Speaker D: But I think that plans are gonna be moving kind of fast. [02:08:33] Speaker A: Okay. All right. All right, if that's what we have to do. [02:08:36] Speaker D: I'll keep you posted. But I'm hoping to get you guys out of there, like, maybe with. Within a week, if that's okay. [02:08:49] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good. [02:08:52] Speaker D: Okay, that's. That's what I've got so far. But I'm gonna talk to the group a little bit more. [02:09:01] Speaker A: Okay. [02:09:02] Speaker F: All right. [02:09:02] Speaker A: Well, thank you for communicating with me, Craig. [02:09:04] Speaker D: Yes, absolutely. I love you, Cap. Bye. [02:09:08] Speaker E: Okay. [02:09:09] Speaker A: Bye, Greg. [02:09:10] Speaker D: Okay, Craig, would they. [02:09:13] Speaker C: Would they want to come here for, like, the holiday and then go back home or. I mean, I don't know. That's up to you. [02:09:21] Speaker A: Was the thing you heard Craig offering his wife on the call? [02:09:24] Speaker C: Oh, it was. Well, no, I meant like, come here and then go to their home. [02:09:31] Speaker B: Or. [02:09:32] Speaker C: Did I. Oh, I misunderstood. I'm so sorry. Then Row doesn't say that, because maybe. [02:09:39] Speaker A: I don't know how all this magic works, but I think that's the thing he was just saying is what I'm just. [02:09:43] Speaker C: Okay. I was confused. [02:09:46] Speaker B: Maybe they could come here and then Catherine could use the stone to call some of the people that she knew and she could gauge her. Her and Aaron could gauge how. How safe it is. [02:09:55] Speaker G: Oh, that's a good idea. I think that's a good idea. As long as she doesn't call the wrong person. [02:10:02] Speaker D: That's. [02:10:03] Speaker B: That's true. But I think she knows the stakes. [02:10:07] Speaker A: I'm kind of a bit of a relationship expert, and I'm what you call an empath. [02:10:12] Speaker F: And I know what other people are feeling and thinking, and I think families should be together for the holidays, you know? [02:10:23] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [02:10:23] Speaker A: I want to hear someone say something. [02:10:25] Speaker C: That's. That's why I think I'm on the boat. That's why I think we should get you guys on the boat so you can get back for the holidays. [02:10:36] Speaker A: Well, I mean, I'm. I'm willing to help you with all this, but if you need more counsel, I'll be helpful. [02:10:43] Speaker C: Thank you. [02:10:46] Speaker D: I'd like to show you another room. It's my favorite room. [02:10:52] Speaker A: Okay. [02:10:53] Speaker D: Follow me. [02:10:54] Speaker A: And Gilliam starts following Craig to where? [02:10:58] Speaker D: Outside? [02:11:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:11:02] Speaker D: And then he shows him gratis igloo. And then he. As he's looking inside, he quickly speeds off back inside. [02:11:15] Speaker A: It doesn't work. He sees you and follows you. Because he's not a dog and he is a person. [02:11:23] Speaker G: Aren't you on full plate, Craig? [02:11:25] Speaker A: Just like a loud clay thinking, leaves the igloo. Also, Craig, are you. This is a valid question. Are you just walking around in armor? Are you in people's clothes? What are you doing? [02:11:37] Speaker D: I'm gonna say I don't want this to bite me in the butt later, but I Think he's in people's clothes right now. [02:11:46] Speaker F: I saw your sword inside. [02:11:47] Speaker A: That was pretty. [02:11:49] Speaker C: That was pretty. [02:11:50] Speaker B: Thank you. [02:11:51] Speaker C: Creepy. [02:11:51] Speaker F: If I take a wager for it, I'm really good at beggars. [02:11:54] Speaker A: Hope. [02:11:56] Speaker F: No, I mean, I'm. [02:12:01] Speaker D: Okay. What do you like about boats? All right. [02:12:04] Speaker A: Okay. Excellent. And as this hot mess of a session moves toward an end, what, in brief, are the plans everyone executes? Like, what are the decisions we make? [02:12:15] Speaker D: I would love to move family somewhere. I think it's a good idea to make calls first. More than just my mom. I have an old friend named Billy who works in the mines. [02:12:32] Speaker B: And I'm. [02:12:32] Speaker D: Gonna call him, and he's like my good old compatriot. [02:12:38] Speaker B: And he's really, really well informed on politics. [02:12:43] Speaker D: He is. He is well informed on politics. Except he's not on the side of the calf. So, yeah, six foot. [02:12:52] Speaker B: He is beyond really funny. [02:12:55] Speaker G: There's a perfect NPC that suits our needs in the place where Craig's the only. [02:12:58] Speaker A: He's the only human in bias. He's not a proof. [02:13:06] Speaker D: Okay, so that's what I'm gonna be doing. Contact Billy to get more insight. That's not just my mom. [02:13:14] Speaker C: I say. [02:13:14] Speaker G: Actually, the. [02:13:16] Speaker C: I say balls. And I get these people to the ship, though, so we can get sp. Uber, and I'm here. [02:13:22] Speaker D: Amen. I, I, I, I. Captain, I'm gonna. [02:13:33] Speaker G: I, I want to find. I don't know. I don't necessarily want to go to. [02:13:37] Speaker A: The ship if I don't have to. [02:13:38] Speaker G: Like, if I don't need to go, then I don't. I'll just stay back. [02:13:41] Speaker C: Okay, Well, I can. I'm. I'll just wait a day. I'll spend the night on the ship and then bring him back. [02:13:48] Speaker G: What? You can't come back. [02:13:52] Speaker A: I teleport is a seventh level spell. [02:13:54] Speaker C: Yeah. Oh, that's. That's the whole reason we were talking about, like, doing both of us. Unless you open a tree for me and I can walk through. Can't. Can we do that? [02:14:08] Speaker G: I don't have to enter the tree. [02:14:10] Speaker C: Let's go. [02:14:11] Speaker A: Right? [02:14:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:14:15] Speaker C: If you want to open that tree for us. [02:14:17] Speaker A: I love that. [02:14:18] Speaker G: For me, they just can't come back unless they have teleport. Yeah, they can go anywhere. [02:14:24] Speaker A: I couldn't. [02:14:25] Speaker G: Someone sent me with the tree when I started the adventure. I couldn't cast that spell. [02:14:29] Speaker B: I just left. [02:14:30] Speaker C: Yeah, that's right. All right, I'll walk through the tree and I'll teleport back from there. [02:14:38] Speaker F: Yeah. [02:14:38] Speaker B: All right. [02:14:38] Speaker G: I snap My fingers and I send. I tree row over to the poor bet. [02:14:43] Speaker C: I say, hurry up, hurry up. [02:14:46] Speaker A: Ro leaves with the five volunteers all promised a gold a day if somebody will write that down. Then they. You guys arrive on the poor bet and Springboro's like, oh, wow, you are here. And they're packed up and then there's five right back question mark. Yes, five. And the two we know are Severet and Gillum. [02:15:11] Speaker D: Severet Gillum. [02:15:17] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah, I coaxed the raccoon out and get any. [02:15:24] Speaker A: And we really need to move on with this session, but let's get an animal handling. Let's. [02:15:28] Speaker C: Well, that's a good thing. [02:15:29] Speaker A: Let's do this. [02:15:32] Speaker C: What's his name? Is his name. [02:15:36] Speaker A: I don't think Greta's given him a name. [02:15:38] Speaker C: Oh, no. That's gonna be an 11. I didn't roll too well. [02:15:45] Speaker A: Okay. [02:15:46] Speaker C: I shouldn't have raised it that way. [02:15:48] Speaker A: What's your AC again? [02:15:50] Speaker D: Hello, thirteen. [02:15:54] Speaker A: Okay. [02:15:59] Speaker B: Well, but I don't think it actually that's perfectly. [02:16:03] Speaker A: Hello, Ro. You take two points of slashing damage and are bitten pretty hard by a raccoon. But you do get it out from under a barrel and it is currently going, but you have it. [02:16:18] Speaker C: Okay. [02:16:22] Speaker A: I has gathered up his things and nurse, I asked. [02:16:26] Speaker C: I just. I just quickly. We don't have to role play this, but I quickly tell them anything they need to know and have Goober tell them anything they need to know. Yeah. [02:16:35] Speaker A: He gives him explanations for how the ship works. The whole time, Gillum's just to going, going, you got a raccoon on our boat. It's biting your arm. [02:16:46] Speaker C: And then I grab anything that anyone had on the ship. I grab anything that anyone had on the ship. [02:16:54] Speaker A: Has grabbed. He has packed the variables, the valuables in and. [02:17:01] Speaker C: Teleport. [02:17:04] Speaker A: And so suddenly appearing in the home are spigobert nam with all their stuff, as well as Ro holding a very large old raccoon. And it's. And. [02:17:15] Speaker C: And I'm yelling for Greta more points of piercing. Greta, come get your raccoon. [02:17:21] Speaker B: Greta rushes up and she like doesn't touch the raccoon, but she's like. And she like. She like. What does the raccoon do when he's on the ground? [02:17:29] Speaker A: It like punches out of Ro's limbs and lands on all fours and goes. [02:17:33] Speaker B: I run over and I open the door and I point outside. [02:17:39] Speaker A: It's out. [02:17:41] Speaker B: I hope. I hope he comes back. She. Greta busies herself, like going into the kitchen and like, like cooking up just a little bit of ground beef. And seasoning it how she thinks a raccoon would like it. [02:17:52] Speaker A: Episode 160, introduced species. [02:17:58] Speaker B: She like puts it on the porch. She. She gets a little metal bowl and she like. She like puts it on the front porch with a little bit of ground beef in it. [02:18:10] Speaker A: An hour later, you put cooked beef in a bowl, in a wooden bowl outside, and it's. It. You set it down in the. And steam is rising off of it in the like 25 degree weather. [02:18:25] Speaker B: I put it down on the back porch and then I leave to go inside. And then I. I think for a minute and I go. And then I go inside and I grab a couple blankets and I pile them up next to the beef and I get a cup of water and I put it next to the beef and I leave it there for. [02:18:42] Speaker C: My water's gonna freeze. [02:18:48] Speaker D: I had a thought, but it doesn't correlate with this. What if I noticed our time is 3:16. What if we pushed? Yeah, no, I mean, like, what if we like didn't take a break and just like if we did. Okay. [02:19:13] Speaker A: What if the DM got some tea for his throat? [02:19:16] Speaker D: Why is your throat hurting? [02:19:18] Speaker A: What if the DM pooped? [02:19:20] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:19:21] Speaker A: All day, speaking at an almost shouting volume five days a week. It could be a 10 minute break. It could be a five minute break. It literally could. [02:19:30] Speaker D: I'm really obligated to a break heard. [02:19:36] Speaker A: I mean, I will poop in this chair. [02:19:38] Speaker D: Do it. [02:19:40] Speaker C: Please don't. Hoffa would be upset. [02:19:44] Speaker A: So upset. And these are new underwear. [02:19:47] Speaker D: These are new underwear. [02:19:49] Speaker C: That's a lot of information for us and the listener. [02:19:55] Speaker A: If I can make it to the holidays, I will have gone a year without pooping myself. Please don't do this to me, Micah. [02:20:03] Speaker D: On the holidays. [02:20:04] Speaker A: It doesn't matter. That's for a third watch. We're probably not ever gonna do anyway. [02:20:10] Speaker D: Oh. [02:20:13] Speaker B: No. [02:20:14] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. [02:20:16] Speaker A: And then on that note, I guess it's the end of the session. [02:20:19] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah. I say welcome home. It's where the hearth is. Tushbagoover and nam. [02:20:25] Speaker A: You know, now that I'm here, I really just want to say. And that's the end of episode 160. Home is where the hearth is. That was our mess session. It's done. It's out of the way. All the rust is off. So listener, we probably need to go on a break. So I don't think there's anything additional to say. I don't know. Anybody? Anything? No. Good. Great. Okay. Okay. [02:20:52] Speaker D: I'm Mr. Griffith. Now what? [02:20:55] Speaker A: That's okay, Andy Griffin. Life is an incredible adventure. Part of it. Okay. Life's an incredible adventure. You're important. Part of it. Listener, Skibidy, Wab and data.
