Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: I'm gonna see how long I can go without doing an intro on that.
[00:00:05] Speaker B: Your DM for the Barely D and D podcast. A sort of Dungeons and Dragons podcast. Oh. Today we are going back into the awesome world of Meg and Grunt once more with the amazing group of the Three Amigos. Finally with three Amigos.
[00:00:21] Speaker C: Brand honesty.
[00:00:22] Speaker B: Brand honesty.
This adventure is in the winter months of Mega Grun. So it is going to be Kaldeur the 25th once more. 324 APO.
[00:00:33] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:00:35] Speaker B: The name of this adventure is the Bobochka Search.
[00:00:39] Speaker C: They're two different ones. I wasn't ready for that.
[00:00:42] Speaker B: I mean it'll be apparent in a second. Babochka.
If you listen last one. You'll know how to spell it this time.
Tough.
It's a real word, so look it up. It's Russian.
[00:00:56] Speaker C: Anyway.
[00:00:56] Speaker D: Russian. Let's go.
[00:01:00] Speaker C: I don't know. I like to take my time.
[00:01:04] Speaker B: Say to Alan.
Noah. That's a real word.
Anyway.
[00:01:09] Speaker D: No.
No.
[00:01:14] Speaker B: So our great adventurers have just helped out a great little group of children in their play. Giving information, sewing up costumes, throwing snowballs at children. All these different things have just happened and Zach is really getting into his toots over here. It's terrible.
The candle is coming out once more as you all are exiting the the old dilapidated town hall. Where do you go to next?
[00:01:46] Speaker D: We are running to the lake.
[00:01:48] Speaker A: Yeah, we're running right?
[00:01:50] Speaker D: Yeah. Where? Where?
Stag. Steve. Steve.
Where Steve?
[00:01:57] Speaker C: Friggin leg. Who is that guy?
[00:01:59] Speaker D: Steve said he last the butterfly thingy. Majigger.
[00:02:08] Speaker B: Our friend Caleb did his thigh as his favorite organ.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: Zach.
[00:02:14] Speaker B: I was really hoping Caleb was.
Did make the character that was hanging out with Jeffrey the whole time last time.
[00:02:24] Speaker C: Yeah, that was an amazing Caleb impression by the way. I tried.
[00:02:30] Speaker B: Anyway, so you all are heading bolting yourself there. It's a bit hard cuz everyone's beginning to come.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: All fours.
[00:02:40] Speaker B: You're running on all fours.
[00:02:41] Speaker D: Okay, okay.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: It's a bit harder as you get on all fours. Cuz then everyone's butts are in your face as there's just tons of people congregating all towards the lake.
[00:02:54] Speaker A: Well then I'm running on two feet.
[00:02:56] Speaker B: On two feet. Okay, no buts this time.
Glad. Glad that that was indicated.
[00:03:00] Speaker C: Going behind and I'm going. Jeffrey. Jeffrey. My legs are so small. Uppies. Uppies. Jeffrey, please.
Especially my legs are so low. Jeffrey. Uppies. What does Jeffrey do?
[00:03:11] Speaker B: Uppies.
[00:03:12] Speaker C: Jeffrey. Every tiny little legs.
[00:03:14] Speaker B: Everybody.
[00:03:15] Speaker A: How heavy does this Jeffrey.
[00:03:16] Speaker C: Hubbies.
Jeffrey, please.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: The Uppies.
[00:03:20] Speaker C: Like a small Child uppies, please, Jeffrey.
[00:03:22] Speaker A: Okay, I pick him up.
[00:03:25] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:03:26] Speaker B: You put him on your shoulders.
[00:03:27] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:03:28] Speaker B: Okay. Very dignified.
[00:03:29] Speaker C: I act serious for a second. I go, thank you, chum. And then after, like, 20 seconds, up there I go.
And I put my arms out to the side, and I just imagine I'm flying.
[00:03:37] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. As you all head towards that way, everyone begins to congregate in the middle of town next to the fountain where the first adventure took off. And as they're heading towards the statue, all are beginning to have a moment of silence and remembrance, which has become a tradition of the village for the week of winter and mist.
[00:03:56] Speaker C: Wait, so they're having a vigil, and we're running by, and I'm on Jeffrey's shoulders with my arms out like an airplane.
[00:04:04] Speaker B: I'm just saying, this is what the three amigos are.
[00:04:08] Speaker C: Man, that's great.
[00:04:10] Speaker B: You see off next to the lake where the woods are, you see a group of. A small group of people. Earth Genasi and Air Genasi mostly coming out of the forest with logs on their sides or being dragged, stuff like this.
And everyone gave me a perception check. Oh, yay.
You get a plus one before in your life.
[00:04:36] Speaker D: That's a 25 DM.
[00:04:38] Speaker B: Whoa.
[00:04:40] Speaker C: 1313.
[00:04:41] Speaker A: Well, let me see.
[00:04:44] Speaker C: Did you ever erase the plus 10 you put by perception earlier?
[00:04:49] Speaker A: 13.
[00:04:52] Speaker B: You got exactly a 1313. You see, a good amount of people have gotten enough wood for what looks like the end of the. What you need you.
Huh? There's like, just every so often as you're walking towards it because you really can't go super fast, so you're, like, as fast as you can every so often as they come out of the forest. You see.
What did I say? A wonderful sight as peacock butterflies seem to be congregating in different areas around it. A bit weird. It is cold. Not a lot of butterflies out. The butterfly that sometimes comes out in the cold, but, man, with that 25.
Oh, that first. That guy in the front.
The guy in the front right here, he's got a butterfly on his shoulder.
Very nice.
Blue butterfly sitting on that shoulder.
And all your minis. Be right by Zach's book.
[00:05:55] Speaker A: Is this my mini?
[00:05:56] Speaker B: Yes.
These ones over here?
Yeah.
[00:06:06] Speaker C: I'm trying to balance Roderick on Jeffrey, but it's not working.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: There's a bunch of people. We're gonna use that as a scenery.
[00:06:13] Speaker D: Okay, so where. Okay, well, the guy.
Or you can say, how far away is he?
[00:06:18] Speaker B: He's about 70ft. Okay.
[00:06:20] Speaker D: But I see the butterfly.
[00:06:21] Speaker B: You see the butterflies okay, the next thing you see is a large claw protruding from the chest of the air Genasi along with a meaty, bloody stump as behind.
For just an instant, a large creature destroys the man that was there, takes the butterfly and disappears once more.
[00:06:46] Speaker C: Oh, damn. That was very sudden.
[00:06:48] Speaker D: How did he take the butterfly? Did he take it in his mouth?
[00:06:52] Speaker B: Great question.
Give me another perception. Okay.
[00:06:56] Speaker C: Do you guys see the big one?
[00:06:59] Speaker B: More perception.
Oh, this?
[00:07:01] Speaker D: That's a 26.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:07:06] Speaker C: 12.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: 26. 12. Holy cow. Something huge, 10ft tall, terrifying, just came, appeared, killed a person.
Crazy.
26.
That same blue energy pulsating in the hand of this creature.
What looks like now in the. Maybe the mouth of the creature is pulsating. Oh, I'm so sorry. I need him to be right here.
Round.
Wait.
[00:07:36] Speaker C: Dm, really quickly. We saw a big frog monster. Yeah, the top half of a guy, right?
No, I mean, I didn't. But they did, right? Okay. It looks like a big frog monster as it's happening.
[00:07:46] Speaker D: I'm giving a play by play to Roddy.
[00:07:49] Speaker C: Within that one. I was looking the wrong direction. I'm like, guys, I'm so fly up. How do you do this?
The wind is blinding.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: The wind is blinding.
[00:07:58] Speaker C: I was born in the shorts. I didn't get up high until I was only a man. And by then it was nothing but blinding. I was making a different joke and then I just realized that I said born in the shorts.
[00:08:09] Speaker D: Born.
[00:08:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:08:10] Speaker D: I was wondering what that meant.
I was like, were you wearing shorts when you were born?
[00:08:15] Speaker C: Fully accidental.
[00:08:17] Speaker B: 70.
The creature is right here.
You are the only one who sees the pulsating from the invisibleness of what it is.
[00:08:28] Speaker C: Does everyone else react to a guy getting dead?
[00:08:30] Speaker B: Yes. Everyone goes into pandemonium as we all need to roll out to play any music so far.
[00:08:39] Speaker D: Is this just so I know. Is this the lake when we were like, on our way? So that's the lake. What is this in front of us statues? Oh, that's the statue.
[00:08:48] Speaker B: Why are you half cover if you're behind you?
[00:08:50] Speaker D: Okay, cool.
[00:08:51] Speaker B: Good to know.
[00:08:51] Speaker D: Okay, good.
[00:08:52] Speaker A: Thank you.
[00:08:52] Speaker B: These are all buildings next to it, but no one really gets that close to the lake because Chewy.
[00:08:59] Speaker D: Oh, that's something I never do. I have a. I got a dirty 20 for me too.
[00:09:04] Speaker B: Oh, great.
[00:09:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: Do y' all wanna.
[00:09:07] Speaker A: What's your dance?
[00:09:08] Speaker B: Well, I do a fun one where you just roll a D20 and see who gets higher.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: Oh, 16, 17.
[00:09:17] Speaker B: So you got 17?
[00:09:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:19] Speaker D: I don't ever roll that high for initiative.
[00:09:21] Speaker B: This is Our initiative before I roll a D20? Yep.
[00:09:23] Speaker C: Would you say that I just have whatever's one less than Jeffries because I'm on his shoulders or.
[00:09:29] Speaker B: No. No. Okay.
Oh, hot diggity dang.
[00:09:33] Speaker C: I got a 19.
[00:09:35] Speaker B: Well, you did get one last from him, so that's good.
[00:09:37] Speaker C: Take that dm. So there I got him.
[00:09:41] Speaker B: But here we are. This is Yalls little thing, if you want to look at it. I'll be adding more dice for all the big monstie boys that go on our turns. This is your initiative.
You're orange.
[00:09:51] Speaker A: Oh, I'm orange.
[00:09:52] Speaker B: You're the sparkly one.
You're the brownish one.
Okay.
[00:09:58] Speaker C: All right.
[00:09:59] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:10:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Something else comes at the beginning of a round of. The first round of initiative.
[00:10:05] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:10:06] Speaker B: Because I.
[00:10:08] Speaker C: We have to go all the way down as. We're as. As.
[00:10:10] Speaker B: You're as. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Yes. As you approach the lake. The lake. The la. The last cracks. The lake cracks as the ice as one lone figure emerges from the frozen prison. A frozen corpse that looks like it once was. A lady treads out of the small crack. Her skin, rigid as ice, clings to the bone as if it were frozen to the structure.
She has long, sharp teeth that cackle as she whips out her gray staff, which looks to be made of a bone of a large creature. She screams the.
I will have the babushka barg if you have done well to bring us to its location and sacrifices for its power.
I am parched from the swimming. Perhaps their blood shall seed my thirst as this lady comes out.
[00:11:01] Speaker C: Oh, that's sick.
[00:11:02] Speaker B: Daniel Hag. Whoa.
[00:11:05] Speaker D: Daniel has the coolest minis.
[00:11:08] Speaker A: That's sick. There's like four different shades of blue in there.
[00:11:12] Speaker D: She's cool.
[00:11:12] Speaker A: That's incredible.
[00:11:13] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:11:13] Speaker D: Appreciate it.
[00:11:16] Speaker B: As we go to Jeffrey.
[00:11:20] Speaker D: That's me.
[00:11:21] Speaker C: That's you.
[00:11:21] Speaker A: Okay, so there's a frog creature right there.
[00:11:23] Speaker B: Well, there.
If you would like to. At the beginning of your turn, roll me a perception check to see if.
[00:11:28] Speaker A: You maybe can see it. Let me know. What. How do you rule perception checks? Is that an action?
[00:11:33] Speaker B: Bonus action for right now at the beginning of turn. Since you're actively looking for the monster, I'll let you do it as a free action at the moment. Every other passing turn will be an action.
[00:11:43] Speaker D: Crazy is when I was leveling up tinsel. I was this close to taking sea. Invisible. Yeah. I was just like, nah, that'll never come up.
[00:11:52] Speaker B: Never come up.
[00:11:53] Speaker A: That has actually.
And 11.
[00:11:57] Speaker B: 11 does not seem to see the invisible floating cotang. Well, but oh, that lady's visible.
[00:12:02] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:12:02] Speaker A: Well, then I'm just gonna.
Oh, gosh. Well, okay. Yeah, I don't see the monster. If we're being honest, I don't know that the monster is there.
[00:12:12] Speaker C: Thank you for clarifying for us.
[00:12:13] Speaker A: So a character who does not know where the monster is but sees a monster would probably.
[00:12:23] Speaker C: Thank you for this live play by play.
[00:12:27] Speaker D: I don't like having my minis next to Daniel's minis because my mini looks like a child.
I colored it with the Sharpie.
[00:12:41] Speaker B: The candy cane's.
[00:12:42] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:12:45] Speaker A: I'm gonna use my movement.
[00:12:48] Speaker C: Does that make sense?
[00:12:48] Speaker A: To go all the way forward. And I'm just unfortunately gonna run in a straight line.
[00:12:54] Speaker B: But how much is your movement? 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. 30.
[00:12:59] Speaker A: I have 30. I have 45ft of movement.
[00:13:02] Speaker B: 45.
[00:13:02] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:13:03] Speaker C: Does it matter that he's a monk or that he's a tabaxi?
It could.
[00:13:07] Speaker A: No. Cause I don't think so.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
I'm pretty sure that also dm.
[00:13:13] Speaker C: I'm going with him.
[00:13:14] Speaker B: Right.
[00:13:14] Speaker C: I'm riding his shoulders.
[00:13:16] Speaker B: Oh, so that's gonna have your movement.
[00:13:19] Speaker A: Oh, that is gonna have my movement.
[00:13:20] Speaker D: Unless you take him down. Can you take him off?
[00:13:22] Speaker C: Does he. Does he throw me off?
[00:13:24] Speaker B: Would £40 on your shoulders be something you would want to run with? Easy. Easy peasy.
Fling me off your shoulders.
[00:13:35] Speaker A: I would like to use my feline agility.
My reflexes allow me to move with.
[00:13:39] Speaker B: A burst of speed.
[00:13:41] Speaker A: I would like to double my speed until the end of my turn.
[00:13:44] Speaker C: It was really funny when both of us were like, does that affect it? And you're like, no.
[00:13:47] Speaker B: Here is a question. It would have to take your bonus action to throw him off your shoulders.
If not, your. Your movement will be halved.
[00:13:56] Speaker A: Is it an action to ask?
[00:13:58] Speaker B: It will have to have been on his turn.
[00:14:01] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Because he has to respond. Okay, you want me to cast me off? Okay, I'm gonna. I'll. Bonus action. Throw him off.
[00:14:09] Speaker B: Bonus action. Throw him to the ground.
[00:14:12] Speaker C: Jeffrey, no. And then I tumble backwards.
[00:14:14] Speaker B: You got 45ft, so you want to. Feet.
[00:14:16] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:14:17] Speaker C: All right.
[00:14:17] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45.
Yeah, right there.
[00:14:22] Speaker A: Oh, man.
[00:14:23] Speaker C: That's a lot of progress.
[00:14:24] Speaker B: Yeah. Didn't make her very far away for a reason.
But importantly, that's the end of my turn.
[00:14:32] Speaker C: I'm legs up with my head down in the snow right now.
[00:14:35] Speaker B: You can. If you have something to throw, you could throw something. You could also hold an action to where if she gets in A enemy gets inside of you in your range, you can attack it as a reaction.
[00:14:46] Speaker C: I believe all monks have access to darts.
[00:14:49] Speaker A: I would like to use.
[00:14:51] Speaker B: Hold on, I'm holding.
[00:14:54] Speaker C: Consider it held.
What did. What does Landon say? Full hearts, clenched glutes, can't lose.
[00:15:01] Speaker D: Yeah, something like that.
[00:15:03] Speaker C: Clenched glutes, can't lose.
[00:15:07] Speaker A: So I'd like. Can I do.
No, I'm not gonna do that. Okay. I think I'm just gonna.
[00:15:15] Speaker C: Good stuff, Abby.
[00:15:18] Speaker B: You're good.
[00:15:22] Speaker A: I'm gonna. That's it for my turn. Just movement.
[00:15:24] Speaker B: Would you like to hold an action to hit something if it comes with inside of you?
[00:15:27] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:15:27] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: All right. We go to tinsel. Tinsel. It's your turn. Roderick, you are on deck. Right am.
[00:15:35] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:15:37] Speaker B: You can see that the creature.
[00:15:38] Speaker D: Yes, I can.
So I am going to.
I don't remember how to do things, don't remember the spell, and I don't have the book for it, so. Sorry.
A Nar's mischief.
[00:16:00] Speaker C: Yeah, this is the one.
You aim it at a point, and then everyone needs to make a wisdom saving throw.
[00:16:08] Speaker D: Yeah, but I was trying to just figure out the distance on it. Okay, wait, I have it. I have it right pulled up. Okay. 60ft is what it is.
[00:16:15] Speaker C: So 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
[00:16:18] Speaker B: You're 70ft away from him.
[00:16:21] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:16:22] Speaker C: Also, these are just random citizens, right?
[00:16:25] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:16:27] Speaker D: Okay. So I can move 30ft. I'm gonna move. I'm gonna move up by the corner of the.
[00:16:34] Speaker C: That's 30.
[00:16:35] Speaker D: Oh, that's 30.
[00:16:35] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:16:36] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:16:36] Speaker D: That's fine.
And I'm going to cast Nathar's mischief.
[00:16:44] Speaker B: Could you read me the spell? Because I don't know.
[00:16:46] Speaker D: Yes. I'm so sorry. I feel a 20 foot cube. I can see within range with Faye and draconic magic. I'm gonna roll on the table to determine the magical effect produced.
And I can move the cube up to 10ft before I roll each time. And I can roll again at the start of each of my turn until the spawn.
[00:17:04] Speaker A: How it changes each time.
[00:17:06] Speaker D: Yeah. 20 foot cube around him.
[00:17:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:12] Speaker D: And I roll a D4.
[00:17:14] Speaker B: Is that where you want the cube? Yes.
[00:17:17] Speaker D: And I roll a D4 for the effect.
[00:17:20] Speaker C: Would have been really funny if you also rolled Geoffrey three.
[00:17:24] Speaker D: So that's a three. So each creature in the cube must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or begin giggling until the start of my next turn.
[00:17:33] Speaker C: Terrifying.
[00:17:34] Speaker D: A giggling creature is incapacitated and uses all its movement to move in a random direction.
[00:17:40] Speaker B: Okay, I need to make a wisdom save.
[00:17:41] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:17:43] Speaker C: Jack, Abby just poked herself with the needle. The way that. What you see.
[00:17:47] Speaker B: 13 Thor force fails. So it starts giggling.
[00:17:54] Speaker D: That's terrifying.
[00:18:02] Speaker B: Terrible nightmare fuel sounding thing.
[00:18:05] Speaker D: But it's. And it's still invisible, right? It's just chilling.
[00:18:08] Speaker B: Do you think so? Until it's turned.
That's terrifying.
[00:18:13] Speaker D: And okay. And as with that as my bonus action, I'm going to bartically inspire Roddy.
[00:18:22] Speaker B: Roddy.
[00:18:23] Speaker D: As I. As I cast. Nathan, we can use the token mischief is like when I cast it, it's like I just like take the bells and I like spin them around like. Like drumsticks and all. Yeah. And like twist them and like all this like sweet candy and apple pie smelling magic fills the air and then fills that like invisible cube. Yeah.
[00:18:47] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
Roderick, it is your turn. Oh, heck yeah.
[00:18:51] Speaker C: Also, what's my Bardi Titan D8. Okay. Excellent. DM.
Would you say that I landed upside down with my butt up in the snow or did I land? Okay.
[00:19:01] Speaker B: Would you like to make a save or would you like to make a deck save?
[00:19:05] Speaker C: Wow, that was an adventure on that roll.
That's gonna be a 19ft first.
[00:19:12] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:19:13] Speaker C: I. I landed in a hero's pose, like. And then with like cape behind, I like fling my own cape so it looks like it's flying. And then I go into the fray and I'm going to move my full 25ft. 20, 25.
[00:19:28] Speaker B: I don't mean to brag.
[00:19:30] Speaker C: And I can't see this guy.
[00:19:33] Speaker B: Right. I would say that there would bolt.
I'll say you're gonna make a normal roll to hit. It'll have a little more AC than it should have.
[00:19:42] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:19:43] Speaker B: But you can roll to hit it because it is loudly bellowing a terrible sound. Okay. And is surrounded by a mist that, like, is being obscured to make the creature seem.
[00:19:53] Speaker C: Okay. Sick. Can I. Bonus action. Hide or is there nowhere to hide? I understand if I can.
[00:19:59] Speaker B: You can hide from the creature because it is laughing.
[00:20:02] Speaker C: Love that ruling dm. Okay.
[00:20:04] Speaker B: I mean, it can't. It can't look for anybody. So.
[00:20:10] Speaker C: Because a disadvantage is being canceled.
[00:20:13] Speaker B: I can't gain advantage. Right.
[00:20:15] Speaker C: Okay. Okay.
[00:20:18] Speaker B: This. Well, that is.
[00:20:19] Speaker C: I didn't think you could caulk that die.
[00:20:21] Speaker B: Look at that.
[00:20:21] Speaker A: Is it balanced?
[00:20:23] Speaker C: That's great. It caught on the book.
[00:20:25] Speaker B: That's wild.
[00:20:27] Speaker C: That's not good. I don't think a nine will hit, will it?
[00:20:30] Speaker B: Nine does not seem to penetrate as you crossbow.
[00:20:35] Speaker C: No, I have. I have a short bow which looks like a longbow to me. So as I pull out my Little bolt. I go.
[00:20:40] Speaker B: I never miss.
And it just hits right into, like, the old crotchety guy that they've almost.
[00:20:46] Speaker C: Completed the statue of.
And I go, I missed.
And I think that's my whole turn.
[00:20:57] Speaker B: A cackle.
[00:20:58] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:20:59] Speaker B: Begins to fill the air.
Yes, my pretties, stay play a while as the whole air around you turns from a nice Texas winter to a bitter Alaskan cold. As around you, she brings into the air ice from her very being as she has been casting control weather her whole way here. Oh, no. This produces some ill effects.
[00:21:32] Speaker C: You scared us so much.
[00:21:33] Speaker B: Abby put her fingers in her mouth first. I will have an environmental effect at the beginning of the turn.
So I need to put this guy here so I don't forget.
And then.
The following effects are in effect for the whole fight. Gotcha.
All ranged attack spells have disadvantage as the hail forming in the air inhibits their ability. The bright light of day becomes dim light, which makes everyone who does not have darkvision have disadvantage on perception checks in the area.
Lastly, at the beginning of every turn, there is an environmental action.
[00:22:10] Speaker A: Oh, fun sick.
[00:22:12] Speaker C: Dm.
[00:22:13] Speaker A: Environmental action.
[00:22:14] Speaker C: So, dm. I'm sorry. Disadvantage on ranged spells.
[00:22:17] Speaker B: Ranged attacks, Range spell attacks.
[00:22:19] Speaker C: Was it all range attacks or range spell attacks?
[00:22:22] Speaker B: Hyzer lows.
[00:22:25] Speaker C: I'm short lows.
[00:22:28] Speaker B: Spell attacks.
[00:22:29] Speaker D: That's a cool dice. I like that.
[00:22:30] Speaker C: Oh, thanks.
It likes you.
[00:22:32] Speaker B: Range spell attacks. The hail seems to sting you as you try to cast spells that are in range.
[00:22:40] Speaker A: Wait, so it's just spell attacks?
[00:22:41] Speaker B: Just spell attacks. Which is good because then Zack's character would never have spell his ability. So good job, Zach.
And it is dim light everywhere if you're trying to perceive different things.
[00:22:55] Speaker D: I finally have a character that has dark vision. And it finally helps.
[00:23:01] Speaker B: It's the whole town.
Good job.
An 8 for my big bad boy.
Finally, a scene. I can actually describe him a bit more. As he fall. Does he fall to the ground? No, he goes in a different way.
[00:23:16] Speaker D: Yeah, he uses all his.
[00:23:17] Speaker B: That's big.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Yeah, that's big.
[00:23:22] Speaker B: Also the pattern.
[00:23:23] Speaker C: Yeah. Is that aposemitism where, like, his skin coloration is. Is displaying that he's poisonous?
[00:23:30] Speaker B: No, it was the picture of a African clawed frog or toe sick. Yeah, because they're the only ones who like cold.
[00:23:39] Speaker C: Really? Well, that was really cool, Daniel.
[00:23:40] Speaker A: I love that.
[00:23:42] Speaker B: Let me explain the banderhob, though.
[00:23:43] Speaker C: I knew it was a banderhob.
[00:23:45] Speaker B: Heck, yeah.
[00:23:45] Speaker D: He is incapacitated and uses all his movement to move in a random direction.
[00:23:49] Speaker B: All right, while you roll that to roll me a D8, a large amphibian creature with black skin and tons of concentric yellow dots all over its body looms large over the frozen ground. It is large with a 10 foot height and sharp claws hanging by its side inside its mouth. The sapphire butterfly stings around and seems to give some type of magical power to the creature.
[00:24:17] Speaker C: That's sick.
[00:24:18] Speaker B: Also dope.
[00:24:19] Speaker C: I've never seen a Banderhob used. Ym. So that's. That's awesome.
[00:24:22] Speaker B: I love bobos. Volos is great.
[00:24:24] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:24:25] Speaker D: I rolled a six.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: Roll the six. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Okay. It's going that way.
[00:24:35] Speaker C: That kind of works out actually.
[00:24:37] Speaker B: What? How many feet do I get? I have to use all my movement.
[00:24:41] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:24:41] Speaker B: Do I use an action to move or just my movement?
[00:24:43] Speaker D: It just says a gigant creature is incapacitated and uses all its movement to move in a random direction.
[00:24:48] Speaker B: Okay.
And if it's outside of the square afterwards, it.
[00:24:54] Speaker D: Yeah, it gets out of the square.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: Okay. And it doesn't need to make the save again until it gets back in.
[00:24:57] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:24:58] Speaker B: All right. 5, 10, 15. Now there's 20, 25, 30.
[00:25:02] Speaker C: That's a statue.
[00:25:03] Speaker B: What's in the. Uhhuh. It got decimated by the huge creature that plows through it with no problem.
[00:25:11] Speaker C: That's terrifying looking. That's so scary.
[00:25:14] Speaker D: I love him.
[00:25:16] Speaker C: I mean, he's really cool. Yeah, he's terrifying.
[00:25:19] Speaker B: As it continues to chuckle and howl and then it starts to.
As it.
[00:25:25] Speaker C: As it stops in the middle of the destroyed statue of us. I just go.
I'm so scared.
[00:25:31] Speaker B: Now we go to the top. Who would like to roll my D4?
[00:25:36] Speaker C: Can I say that Roger lets out a couple little pellets when he gets too close for the monster.
[00:25:40] Speaker B: Also a cool dime. Oh, I love three rain slicks your weapons.
[00:25:45] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[00:25:48] Speaker B: Everyone who's fighting with a melee weapon. And the next round has disadvantage on.
[00:25:52] Speaker C: Okay, okay.
[00:25:53] Speaker A: That sucks for me.
[00:25:54] Speaker B: Melee weapons. Yeah, that does slick your hands. Sadly.
[00:25:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:58] Speaker B: As we go to the start of the second act, thing that happens.
Oh, man. People start running away. They start grabbing these guys. They try to take them out of the way. These guys try to bolster themselves and what looks like a feeble attempt of grabbing weapons and things of this area.
This two little chillins. One begins to. One runs away, one tries and slips.
[00:26:25] Speaker C: Do you want me to take it off the map?
[00:26:26] Speaker B: Yes. As hail pelts the ceilings, an icicle begins to crack.
You have one round before something happens to it.
[00:26:35] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:26:36] Speaker B: What the.
[00:26:37] Speaker D: We have one round before something Happens.
[00:26:39] Speaker C: Before the kid dies for the kid.
[00:26:41] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:41] Speaker A: Right. Okay.
[00:26:43] Speaker C: So get him, Jeff.
[00:26:44] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
[00:26:48] Speaker D: You said that.
[00:26:49] Speaker C: And it triggered.
[00:26:51] Speaker B: It's okay.
[00:26:53] Speaker A: 15, 20, 25.
What's this?
[00:26:58] Speaker B: It is like a building, and there's a roof that is hanging out with icicles all around it.
[00:27:04] Speaker A: Where's the door to this building?
[00:27:07] Speaker B: We'll say it's right here.
These two squares.
[00:27:10] Speaker C: So funny. Jeffrey runs over, picks up the kid, just hugs him in the door.
[00:27:16] Speaker A: 5, 30.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: Hold the door. Hold the door.
[00:27:20] Speaker C: Hold the door.
[00:27:21] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, 30, 45. Can I, like, throw him around that corner?
[00:27:26] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:27:27] Speaker C: Can he talk in the.
[00:27:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:27:29] Speaker D: So.
[00:27:30] Speaker A: So Jeffrey. Jeffrey sees the hag, and then he, like.
He, like.
He hears, like, the icicle.
[00:27:40] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean, just.
[00:27:43] Speaker A: He'S running toward the hag, and as he gets closer, she says her scary thing. It starts hailing, and he's like, oh.
And he, like, looks around, and he, like, hears the icicle, and he sees the kid, and he's like, oh, no. And so he's like. He, like, runs over to save the kid, and he just, like, picks up the kid, chucks it in the room, and then turns around, sees the frog.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: Whoa. Okay.
[00:28:08] Speaker A: And then I think that'll be his turn.
[00:28:12] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:28:14] Speaker C: Okay. Leave your dreams.
We'll sit.
[00:28:18] Speaker B: You want to do the same thing where if something gets close enough, you'll hit it if it comes to you? Heck, yeah. Heck, yeah. Okay. Jeffrey goes with that turn. We go to tansel. Tinsel. Roderick, you're up next. You could have possible darts that you could throw. They're about 20ft, I believe. And then everything after is disadvantaged.
[00:28:36] Speaker C: Also, monks can bonus action. Step of the wind, right?
[00:28:39] Speaker B: True.
[00:28:40] Speaker A: It takes a key point.
[00:28:41] Speaker B: Does take a key point.
That is true.
[00:28:44] Speaker C: Sure.
[00:28:45] Speaker D: I have a question about something.
[00:28:47] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Give me that shot.
[00:28:48] Speaker D: Is that the same as a sling and sure.
[00:28:51] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:28:52] Speaker D: Because I don't have it.
[00:28:54] Speaker B: What's a sling? What's the weapon damage?
[00:28:56] Speaker D: 1D4 bludgeoning. But I have on mind that the slingshot is 1D4 piercing.
[00:29:00] Speaker B: We're gonna say as a slingshot. You've been honed in this art. You may even upgrades gotten. The dragons help. It's a D6 giving you a. Like a crossbow almost to a slingshot.
[00:29:13] Speaker D: So I'm going.
Okay.
[00:29:17] Speaker B: So I haven't touched my bag as yet.
Daniel's like, you.
[00:29:21] Speaker C: You need it.
[00:29:23] Speaker D: I'm going to bonus action.
Chromatic infusion. My slingshot.
[00:29:31] Speaker C: Shoot the slingshot.
[00:29:35] Speaker D: I am going to.
[00:29:37] Speaker B: Sorry.
[00:29:38] Speaker D: I'm going to infuse it with. I'M going to take a gamble and I'm going to infuse it with fire damage.
[00:29:51] Speaker B: Fire damage. Okay. How does that look as you touch it to your horn?
[00:29:55] Speaker C: Yeah. So?
[00:29:56] Speaker D: So I grab my.
I grab my slingshot from my hip or whatever, and I just, like. I close my eyes and I hold it over, like, onto the horn and I jingle the bell.
And when I open my eyes, like, my eyes for a split second, like the same blue as the horn, and then they go back to their green color and then.
[00:30:31] Speaker B: Oh, you're concentrating on the spell, aren't you?
[00:30:32] Speaker D: Yes, I am. Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah. Do I need to. I need to roll again for the.
[00:30:39] Speaker B: Well, do you have a way to move it?
[00:30:41] Speaker D: Yes, I do. Did it have to take a bonus action or. No? No. I can move the cube up to 10ft on each turn.
So I'm gonna go ahead and move.
[00:30:51] Speaker B: It 10ft close to the big bag.
[00:30:52] Speaker D: Yeah, 10ft closer to the big.
Which he's just out of it. Yeah, but.
[00:31:06] Speaker B: I don't know why that.
It tells me where it is. Bro, calm your horsies. A bonus action for the awesome.
[00:31:16] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:31:16] Speaker B: Using the fire slingshot. You're fire to my flingshot.
[00:31:19] Speaker D: And then I'm going to take a gumdrop and I'm going to aim at him.
Where's my dice?
[00:31:29] Speaker B: What? What? Cass, what are you again? A bard?
[00:31:32] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:31:32] Speaker C: Okay, what are you again is really not clear.
It's very hard to tell what your character is. Is Phreak a class? How do you.
[00:31:44] Speaker D: Oh, no, wait. What do I add?
[00:31:47] Speaker B: So it's gonna be your dexterity. Yeah, that's right.
[00:31:52] Speaker D: That's gonna be plus four. Nine.
[00:31:56] Speaker B: A nine does as connects has no effect. It's like the blubbery bulbous belly of this creature. Just a literary and it just throws it off into the ground.
[00:32:10] Speaker C: Does it smack me?
[00:32:11] Speaker B: No, no, no.
[00:32:12] Speaker C: Only for comical effects. Okay.
[00:32:14] Speaker B: If it smacks you, it's gonna hurt.
[00:32:15] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:32:17] Speaker B: Anything else you do on your turn, Tinsel, or are we going to Roderick?
[00:32:20] Speaker D: Oh, I change the.
It changes the effect.
[00:32:25] Speaker B: How about we put the D4 here and remember that if it ever walks in.
[00:32:29] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:32:29] Speaker B: Sounds good.
[00:32:31] Speaker C: DM As a. As a free action on my turn after that happens, I just turn a tinsel and I go, how about we try rocks next time? And then I'm going to tinsel.
[00:32:42] Speaker D: Rolls her eye.
[00:32:45] Speaker C: Do I have the ability to bonus action Hide. I understand if you're like hot bs. No, I'm just checking.
[00:32:52] Speaker B: If you're gonna use all your movement to burrow into the snow.
[00:32:57] Speaker C: Oh, I can. Bugs Bunny.
[00:32:59] Speaker B: This guy can use all your movement and you have to move at least 10ft in a direction. In a direction.
Can I go to here?
[00:33:07] Speaker A: I know.
[00:33:07] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:33:08] Speaker D: Why did I think you were a fighter?
[00:33:10] Speaker C: Because I've been so bad this whole time.
I've. And this is true, always been a rogue.
[00:33:17] Speaker D: None of our characters play anything like our class should.
[00:33:21] Speaker C: Especially because we suck so hard. Yeah. You can't tell I'm a rogue because everything's been so bad.
[00:33:27] Speaker D: I don't ever remember you voters actually knighting. Okay. Sorry.
[00:33:30] Speaker C: No, no, it's okay. So I. I just like. I. I look up at the banderhob and I go.
[00:33:36] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:33:36] Speaker C: And I like swan dive into the snow. And like Bugs Bunny, just know. And I.
I pop up from the snow and I fire off with my crossbow.
[00:33:48] Speaker B: Advantage it. Because I said you're gonna give me a stealth check.
[00:33:51] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:33:51] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:33:52] Speaker C: Yes.
16.
[00:33:57] Speaker B: Success.
[00:33:58] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:33:58] Speaker B: DC is gonna be 12 from now on. Just so you know. So you remember it.
[00:34:01] Speaker C: Advantage to hit. Yes. Yes.
[00:34:02] Speaker B: Advantage to hit.
[00:34:03] Speaker C: Can I have a second D20 to roll?
[00:34:04] Speaker B: Of course.
[00:34:05] Speaker C: Oh, can I use wrong?
[00:34:06] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:34:11] Speaker C: I rolled 2/8, plus I got a 12.
[00:34:17] Speaker B: 12 does not seem to connect.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: Again.
[00:34:20] Speaker B: As you pop out of the snow, short bow in hand.
[00:34:24] Speaker C: Can we say that I. I popped out of the snowface in the wrong way?
[00:34:26] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:34:27] Speaker C: So I. Oh. And I like fire, like while I'm turning.
[00:34:30] Speaker B: And bad. Yeah.
[00:34:32] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:34:32] Speaker B: Bad. Angle goes wide. All right. Roderick, you go from there.
Haggy, turn. Yeah. No, man.
[00:34:39] Speaker C: Guys, we have not done a lot.
[00:34:44] Speaker B: You have saved a child.
[00:34:45] Speaker D: We did save a child. That's a lot.
[00:34:48] Speaker C: A child.
Dm. This is the second or third round of combat. Second round. Okay.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: S.
No, I shouldn't do that.
[00:35:01] Speaker A: I love him. I thought we were done fighting hags, Jackie.
[00:35:04] Speaker D: We're never done fighting hags, Abby.
[00:35:07] Speaker C: We're never done like hags. Way too much.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: 30. Yeah, they're awesome candy cans. I mean, Jackie ran a hag.
[00:35:17] Speaker C: Abby ever dms we know there's gonna.
[00:35:18] Speaker B: Be a hag there.
[00:35:21] Speaker C: Hags are who we are, guys.
Yes.
[00:35:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:35:25] Speaker C: Your villain.
[00:35:26] Speaker B: Uh huh.
Yeah.
[00:35:28] Speaker D: She's just an evil cleric domain lady.
She wasn't a hag.
[00:35:33] Speaker C: Are you sure you didn't call her a hag?
[00:35:35] Speaker B: Out.
[00:35:35] Speaker D: No, I never called her hag.
She was just a person.
She was a changeling.
[00:35:43] Speaker C: Well, she had a hags. She had a hag Soul bag.
[00:35:46] Speaker D: She did have a hag. Soul bag. Yes.
[00:35:48] Speaker C: That's what confused me.
[00:35:49] Speaker D: She's not hags.
[00:35:50] Speaker C: Okay, so she wasn't a hat.
[00:35:53] Speaker D: She is haggitation.
[00:35:55] Speaker B: Yes. Yes.
Run, Scream.
Give me your blood.
As she and out of her gray staff. I'm 10, 15, 20.
[00:36:07] Speaker C: My.
[00:36:07] Speaker B: This is 120 frame. Yeah, it's perfect.
[00:36:09] Speaker D: She walks into my.
[00:36:12] Speaker C: She.
Come on. Walk into the giggle dome.
[00:36:17] Speaker B: Giggle.
[00:36:19] Speaker C: The Giggle dome.
[00:36:20] Speaker B: The giggle zone.
[00:36:22] Speaker D: The Giggle dome.
[00:36:26] Speaker C: Giggle dome.
[00:36:27] Speaker D: Layman's tiny giggle dome.
[00:36:31] Speaker B: I hate that.
10, 10 foot squares.
[00:36:40] Speaker D: 10, 10 foot squares.
[00:36:43] Speaker B: What?
[00:36:43] Speaker D: What?
[00:36:44] Speaker C: Take.
[00:36:44] Speaker D: Someone take the pin out of his hand.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: 4, 5, 7, 8, 9.
I need a Dex saving throw, my friend.
As a.
[00:37:01] Speaker C: What's wrong with you?
[00:37:02] Speaker B: Of ice appears shedding through yourself.
[00:37:06] Speaker C: That's legitimately an awesome spell.
[00:37:09] Speaker D: Remember, you have a bardic inspiration.
[00:37:10] Speaker B: I'm probably gonna use it.
[00:37:14] Speaker C: Okay, okay. Sorry. Damn. I'm not trying to be controlling. 15.
I'm gonna save my Bardic.
[00:37:22] Speaker B: That was a 1919 GC14 success.
Does that move me right?
[00:37:30] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:37:31] Speaker B: So that means zero damage as Roderick.
[00:37:35] Speaker C: My class is BS like in his.
[00:37:39] Speaker B: Own way, like huddles himself into a ball.
[00:37:40] Speaker A: Just.
[00:37:43] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:37:44] Speaker C: DS blows really hot air on himself. I can't stress this enough. You have so correctly interpreted my character.
[00:37:49] Speaker B: Yes, sir. The wall of eyes is I. I.
[00:37:52] Speaker C: Like roll up into a ball into the snow and underneath I just go. You're a big strong head.
You're a big strong head.
[00:37:58] Speaker B: Take no damage from the wall of ice. Beautiful amount. And we go from the Behr hag to my banderhaab.
[00:38:05] Speaker C: The Beheer Hag. That's bad guys.
[00:38:08] Speaker B: Beheer Hag.
[00:38:09] Speaker D: That's.
[00:38:09] Speaker C: It's a frozen little gal.
[00:38:11] Speaker B: She's a little gal.
[00:38:12] Speaker C: She's just a little girl.
[00:38:14] Speaker D: She's just a girl.
[00:38:15] Speaker C: That's bad. Beheer Hags are strong. Oh, that's what you guys fought in your in in the first campaign, right?
[00:38:21] Speaker B: Yeah. Now which one of the copy does he want to attack?
Jackie, how intimidating were you to the hag, would you say?
Very, very intimate. No, wait.
[00:38:38] Speaker C: No, no, wait.
[00:38:40] Speaker B: No. That's all I needed to hear.
Vanderhob looks back. She saw I did a lot of magnets. Which one she he should attack. And she raises her cold arm and points to the little goblin as he.
Oh, no.
[00:38:55] Speaker D: Oh, I love you.
[00:38:57] Speaker B: 10, 15.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: That's not good.
[00:39:00] Speaker B: Lumbers towards you.
[00:39:02] Speaker D: Yeah.
He's so big.
[00:39:04] Speaker C: Did you hear the sound he made when he looked at the staff?
Good thing we brought a healer today.
[00:39:10] Speaker D: I am the healer.
[00:39:12] Speaker A: I was like, is it me?
[00:39:13] Speaker B: The sapphire butterfly?
[00:39:15] Speaker C: You're a monk.
[00:39:16] Speaker B: I know.
[00:39:16] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:39:16] Speaker B: And floats around trapped under one of its terrible muscly tongue as it opens its mouth and tries to attack you.
[00:39:27] Speaker D: Wait, so it is the butterfly out of his mouth or. No.
[00:39:30] Speaker B: It's like this is maybe information that you should think about.
[00:39:34] Speaker D: Okay. Sorry. Yeah.
[00:39:37] Speaker C: Not one.
[00:39:38] Speaker B: Wow.
You don't know about my NAT one rolls.
[00:39:44] Speaker D: Oh, what are your nat.
[00:39:45] Speaker C: He rolls them a lot.
[00:39:47] Speaker D: Oh, I thought you said it's not one rule. I was like, what's the ruling?
[00:39:51] Speaker C: While Daniel doesn't roll as badly as I do, in general, he rolls a lot of ones.
[00:39:58] Speaker A: Two.
[00:39:59] Speaker B: Two. I've been out lately.
[00:40:01] Speaker C: Actually, my rolls haven't been you.
[00:40:02] Speaker B: The. The mouth as it tries to grab onto it gets twisted around into the ice and it thought it was warm enough that it wasn't gonna get stuck, but it gets stuck onto the wall of ice.
[00:40:16] Speaker D: It's like a Christmas story.
[00:40:17] Speaker B: It's like a Christmas story as it rips its tongue off as. Ow. It usually doesn't have a second attack. But this fight, the sapphire butterfly is giving it some good juices as it brings its tongue out. Not to swallow you anymore, but to tongue attack you.
[00:40:36] Speaker C: That's worse somehow.
[00:40:37] Speaker D: No, I don't want that.
[00:40:40] Speaker B: I need you to roll me two things, Jackie. First, I need you to roll me probably with the D22. D6.
[00:40:48] Speaker C: I was wrong immediately.
[00:40:50] Speaker D: That is a 6 and a 3.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: 3. So 9. Damage to the Banderhob as it rips a part of its tongue off. Okay.
[00:41:02] Speaker C: And then I need more damage than any of us have dealt so far.
[00:41:06] Speaker B: What is this? What did I make this thing do?
Pull me a D4 as it rolls to attack you.
[00:41:13] Speaker D: 4.
[00:41:14] Speaker B: 6.
What's your AC?
[00:41:18] Speaker D: 12.
[00:41:19] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:41:20] Speaker B: It misses with a 10 because you negative its role as the ice forming around its tongue made it a bit heavier than it's usually as it. Wow.
Because the nightmare hob has done no damage.
[00:41:32] Speaker C: That could not have gone better for you.
[00:41:34] Speaker B: Hey, who's would like to roll my D4 to see what happens with the environmental effects?
[00:41:41] Speaker D: Wait, what is that?
[00:41:42] Speaker B: It's the one.
[00:41:43] Speaker D: Oh, is that a one? That's a one.
[00:41:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
No.
[00:41:48] Speaker B: Why does he.
[00:41:49] Speaker C: Why do you even lose sounds?
[00:41:50] Speaker D: It's snowing in here.
[00:41:54] Speaker B: I need everyone to make a dex saving throw, please.
[00:41:56] Speaker C: No.
[00:41:57] Speaker D: What if I don't? No.
[00:42:01] Speaker B: Fail is always.
[00:42:02] Speaker C: This diet rolls really well.
[00:42:03] Speaker B: Oh yeah.
[00:42:04] Speaker C: Preisp position 21.
[00:42:07] Speaker B: 21 succeeds.
15. 15 succeeds.
[00:42:11] Speaker C: I haven't caused any damage yet, but this is the most effective Roderick has ever been.
[00:42:15] Speaker A: I got a.
I'm so sorry.
[00:42:19] Speaker B: You're good.
[00:42:20] Speaker A: I got a seven, but I do have evasion.
[00:42:23] Speaker B: You got a full seven and you're gonna do evasion, which is gonna make half the damage that's coming after you. Right?
[00:42:28] Speaker A: So, yeah.
[00:42:29] Speaker B: Or is evasion the one that makes.
[00:42:30] Speaker C: Even when you fail, you take half?
[00:42:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:32] Speaker B: I thought that was uncanny. Dodge.
[00:42:33] Speaker C: Yeah. No, no, the features.
What's the word?
Stupid.
[00:42:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, well, all those who have stayed and the person who has used her feet of evasion are gonna take half damage. Except for you, because you succeeded 2, 4, 6, 7. So half of seven is 3. 3 damage to both of you.
[00:42:54] Speaker C: We are not doing well.
[00:42:55] Speaker B: But hail falls from the sky and lands very hard on your head. Oh, wow. Hey, you see also in the beginning of this, a few people come over and they bash through the wall of ice as they are now very frostbitten, but are trying to come help in whatever way they can. So they're gonna run all the way to here, away from the terrible effects of the wall.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Jeffrey, that's me.
[00:43:25] Speaker C: Is it over there?
[00:43:26] Speaker B: Jer from Tinsel, you're up next.
Oh, you need to make concentration checks. Yes, yes. Just a 10 for this one.
[00:43:39] Speaker D: That's a nat 20.
[00:43:40] Speaker B: Oh, my.
You keep it 35. 40.
[00:43:44] Speaker A: I'm gonna come over here.
[00:43:45] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, I like this dice tower.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: And I'm going to.
Okay, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Okay, I am going to attack with flurry of blows.
[00:44:07] Speaker B: Nice.
Well, first you're gonna do your normal two attacks, right? Yeah, yeah. Okay, roll it.
[00:44:14] Speaker A: Okay, I'm gonna attack. I'm attacking with my two handed with my quarter staff.
[00:44:17] Speaker C: Your quarter.
[00:44:17] Speaker A: So how does a nine sound?
Plus six.
[00:44:23] Speaker B: Oh, that's 11 then.
[00:44:26] Speaker C: That's tough.
[00:44:27] Speaker B: Still not gonna hit. Sorry.
[00:44:29] Speaker A: But thank you. How does a 1313 sound?
[00:44:33] Speaker B: Right? 12. 12 does not succeed. Does not succeed either way.
[00:44:38] Speaker A: Okay, well, I'm gonna try my.
[00:44:40] Speaker B: Oh, it is a 13. So sorry.
[00:44:43] Speaker A: I'm gonna try my flurry of blows.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:45] Speaker A: Okay. How's it 8?
[00:44:47] Speaker B: How's this? What up?
[00:44:48] Speaker A: 8.
[00:44:49] Speaker C: 8 does not seem to be.
[00:44:52] Speaker B: And.
[00:44:53] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:44:56] Speaker B: 13.
[00:44:56] Speaker A: 13 oh.
[00:44:58] Speaker C: 4 attacks.
[00:44:59] Speaker B: Jeffrey, as you run up, elated that you just saved a child, already a hero in your own right. You come up and you get your quarter stuff out and it's like fighting an anime villain at the end of the game where, like she pulls out her own staff and every time you hit the staff, she goes.
And then as you go, as you go for, like hitting things, she just doesn't even flinch. She just like clinches all her body, as you're fist connects, it feels like it's hitting a wall of ice and nothing really takes effect. And she's like, oh, yes, your skin, your blood will be mine.
[00:45:35] Speaker C: What a terrible thing to say to a person.
[00:45:39] Speaker B: Okay, well, sadly you do not hit any of your attacks.
[00:45:42] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:45:43] Speaker B: Is there anything else you do on your turn?
[00:45:44] Speaker A: No.
[00:45:45] Speaker B: Okay, Tinsel it is up next. Rodrick, you are on deck.
[00:45:48] Speaker D: I'm gonna go ahead and drop concentration on that. Yeah. And I. Since he's like right on top of me, I'm going to cast Polymorph on that.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: Wow, you make a wisdom saving throw.
[00:46:11] Speaker D: Yes, Sir.
[00:46:12] Speaker B: What's your DC13?
[00:46:15] Speaker C: It's polymorph. Not common. It's so weird.
[00:46:19] Speaker B: Oh, it is con.
[00:46:20] Speaker C: No, no.
[00:46:20] Speaker D: Well, it's a. Oh, I thought you meant. How is it not concentration?
[00:46:23] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm sorry.
[00:46:23] Speaker C: How is it not a concert?
[00:46:24] Speaker B: What is your DC13? 18 for my save. Does that. It does seem to be as you make it into something. I'm so sorry.
[00:46:36] Speaker D: No, you're right.
[00:46:37] Speaker B: Into turning something, this massive osvo thing into maybe a tiny version of itself so you can kill really easy. Literally gonna die as it just as you see, like your magic with all the bells and the tinsel and everything, like starts to squish down its frame. It just shrugs and all the magic just slops off. It's just like. You didn't have to use sloth again.
[00:46:58] Speaker A: Also hate sloth.
[00:47:01] Speaker D: I am going. What is. I have this on my sheet, but I don't.
[00:47:05] Speaker B: What is this?
Have had my.
[00:47:09] Speaker C: This is another set that was hard to gift. I was like, I could just keep it.
[00:47:13] Speaker B: It's mine after all.
[00:47:15] Speaker C: It's my precious.
It rolls really well.
[00:47:22] Speaker D: What is. Okay. Remind me of something. Cuz I have this on my sheet. I know, it's a goblin thing. I have Nimble Escape, which I know is bonus action.
What do I do? What? What is it?
[00:47:32] Speaker B: You get tabs.
[00:47:33] Speaker D: What is it?
[00:47:35] Speaker B: I think you get your bonus action. Disengage.
[00:47:37] Speaker D: Okay.
Does that.
[00:47:39] Speaker B: That's cool.
[00:47:40] Speaker D: Can I do that right now?
[00:47:41] Speaker B: No, A whole goober.
[00:47:44] Speaker C: No, it's good.
[00:47:46] Speaker B: Disengage or hide as a bonus action. Okay, so disengage means you can get away from the bad guy before it and it doesn't get to hit you.
[00:47:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna do that.
[00:47:53] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:47:53] Speaker B: You disengage. Where do you want to go?
[00:47:57] Speaker D: I'm gonna go like back this way.
[00:48:00] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. Yeah, there it is.
[00:48:03] Speaker D: Yes, sir. And that's my turn.
[00:48:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: Roderick me.
[00:48:08] Speaker D: That was. Yeah, I couldn't do that.
[00:48:16] Speaker C: I think.
What do I do?
Well, I. I knew what I was going to do, but then.
[00:48:26] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:27] Speaker C: Okay.
I am going to.
[00:48:33] Speaker B: Dm.
[00:48:34] Speaker C: Can I.
I can't go under the statue by digging.
[00:48:41] Speaker B: It'll.
[00:48:42] Speaker C: Okay, okay. No problem.
[00:48:44] Speaker A: Take a long time.
[00:48:46] Speaker B: It does have a clear path of a guy running.
[00:48:49] Speaker C: Okay. And so that would. That would not.
[00:48:51] Speaker B: This is no longer difficult terrain. This part. This part. Part is. Okay, so. Because when you say that through this part. Right. And so if I get behind here, you might be able to.
[00:49:00] Speaker C: It'd probably. And probably be easier for stealth attacks. Right. Because I. Okay, so I'm gonna. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. Dad, you have it.
[00:49:08] Speaker B: You are within something that is about 6 to 10ft tall.
[00:49:11] Speaker C: Wait, no, I see the range here. Right on the spell.
[00:49:14] Speaker B: It's not there anymore. Oh, okay.
[00:49:15] Speaker C: She dropped it. 660. Okay.
[00:49:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:17] Speaker C: So can I shoot around this?
Okay, dope. So I'm going to just, like, scurry through the snow. And I like. I like, do a little slide, and I, like, slide up with my bow, and I go. This time it'll work. And I'm gonna. Bonus action. Hide.
[00:49:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Do I need to roll self, sir?
[00:49:33] Speaker C: Does it affect anything that I'm behind the stats?
[00:49:36] Speaker B: Sure.
Ooh, that's unfortunate.
[00:49:41] Speaker C: That's a four.
Yep. I rolled real bad.
Yeah, I just don't hide that good. I like. I, like, slide up, and I'm like. I'm very well hidden, and I'm just, like, fully exposed. Yeah. And I pull out my bow, and I go away with you, foul creature.
[00:49:59] Speaker B: And I fire it. Roll it.
[00:50:04] Speaker C: I think I might hit. Okay, guys, now I want to point out, in all of our time with these characters, I think I've hit with Roderick twice ever. So that's a 17.
[00:50:12] Speaker B: Does not seem to connect.
[00:50:13] Speaker C: That's a bummer.
[00:50:15] Speaker B: Oh, wait, no, no, it does.
[00:50:16] Speaker C: Okay, good.
Great.
So hold on for this big damage dm.
How does a five points of piercing sound?
Plus one.
[00:50:30] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:50:31] Speaker C: Rough. Remember, a really big part of this character is that I did. I was not too concerned with making him good. Yeah.
[00:50:37] Speaker B: Yeah. You hit right into its.
Not as blubbery as a back, but it's more like rigid as this is where thick skin. Yeah. And it sinks, but not too far.
[00:50:48] Speaker C: I just swallow, like, so hard. It's audible, like.
[00:50:51] Speaker B: Is that all you?
[00:50:53] Speaker C: Yeah, that's it.
[00:50:53] Speaker B: Okay, we go to my hag.
To the bone.
Did get into a really good conclove commemoration Right there.
[00:51:05] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:51:06] Speaker B: As it's gonna be bunched up.
[00:51:09] Speaker D: No.
[00:51:11] Speaker B: Oh, you did too.
[00:51:14] Speaker C: I mean, they bunched up.
[00:51:16] Speaker B: They bunched up. Not me.
[00:51:17] Speaker C: I would never do Sticky King.
Bless you.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: 60Ft.
[00:51:31] Speaker C: 60Ft.
[00:51:31] Speaker B: 60Ft. No.
Yes.
10, 15, 20.
[00:51:38] Speaker D: I got it just for you.
[00:51:40] Speaker B: Oh, it's gonna hit my little frog too.
[00:51:44] Speaker C: Hey, you gotta make sacrifices.
[00:51:46] Speaker B: You do.
[00:51:46] Speaker C: You gotta break some eggs to make it all.
[00:51:50] Speaker A: I would never break an egg to make an omelet.
Do you want this?
[00:51:57] Speaker D: All right.
[00:51:58] Speaker B: I need all three of you and my banner hob as she cackles in ecstasy and she wants to hurt you.
Oh, my bannerhob sucks.
Wait a minute. He has this thing on him. Doesn't that make him have advantage on this?
[00:52:16] Speaker A: Not the thing.
[00:52:16] Speaker D: It's so weird playing not.
[00:52:18] Speaker C: It does.
I just checked in my head.
[00:52:21] Speaker B: He doesn't. It does. It doesn't make it better. It doesn't make it worth it.
As she. Again.
Oh, that's so true. It doesn't get that. Then a constitution saving throw as ice forms from her hands. And almost in the same way as, like, a burning hands, but instead, her terrible, terrible icy calluses bring about a cone of cold.
Oh, no.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: I got a 15 DM that succeeds. My con is my highest stat as a rogue.
[00:53:02] Speaker D: I can't listen.
I got.
Wait. I want to see if this works.
[00:53:10] Speaker B: 4, 5.
Is it absorb elements?
[00:53:14] Speaker D: No.
Is it?
[00:53:21] Speaker C: No, man. That would have been a good choice.
[00:53:23] Speaker B: Sorry.
[00:53:23] Speaker D: I got a 5, but is this cold damage?
I would like to. Can I use a reaction?
[00:53:33] Speaker B: Huh?
[00:53:33] Speaker D: I would like to use my reaction to give myself resistance to.
[00:53:36] Speaker B: Does that give you that damage? Yeah. Okay. Okay.
[00:53:40] Speaker D: I can do that up to three times with my little blue horn.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: Oh, I know.
[00:53:48] Speaker D: I'm. I'm.
[00:53:50] Speaker B: Open.
[00:53:52] Speaker D: So the popcorn, if it's not, I'll get you some other.
[00:54:00] Speaker A: 16.
[00:54:01] Speaker B: 16.
Both take half of the sandwich.
[00:54:05] Speaker A: Can I. Is 80? No, no, it's a. I'm sorry, Dexter.
[00:54:08] Speaker B: No worries.
[00:54:09] Speaker C: Thank you, listener. I don't like the number of dice Daniel's holding.
[00:54:12] Speaker B: 8, 16, 20.
[00:54:19] Speaker C: Chad, you also want popcorn, right?
[00:54:21] Speaker B: Okay.
Gosh.
So those who failed for. Oh, you're all taking half. That's good. My banner hob does not. He takes 45 points of damage. 40.
So half of that would be 22 points of damage.
[00:54:40] Speaker C: Guys, that's not good.
[00:54:42] Speaker D: I have resistance. I still take half.
[00:54:44] Speaker B: You take half. You take 22.
[00:54:46] Speaker D: Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool. I'll take it.
[00:54:49] Speaker B: As she, like, almost licks the ice off of her terrible fingers. And she says, you will all freeze and I will drink your frozen blood.
[00:54:59] Speaker A: 27.
[00:55:01] Speaker B: 22. 22. I mean, you take 27, you want to. You want. And you'll skin off my back.
[00:55:08] Speaker D: Oh, wow.
[00:55:09] Speaker B: That was so quick.
Well, Bakur hag is done. We go to Mihab.
Wait, what?
[00:55:18] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:55:22] Speaker B: Thankfully, she did take out half their.
[00:55:25] Speaker C: HP of the batter badge. Honestly, a net. A net. A net zero.
[00:55:29] Speaker B: Net positive.
[00:55:30] Speaker C: Here.
[00:55:31] Speaker B: There's my bookmark. All right.
But Sally the Banner now has good abilities.
Okay, so you just heard it. It does not care at all about what the other person said.
5, 10, 15, 20.
Let's talk this out, dude. Here, roll me a D20.
Oh, no, roll me D6.
[00:55:57] Speaker C: I don't want to.
[00:55:59] Speaker B: Dang.
[00:56:00] Speaker C: No, stop.
[00:56:01] Speaker B: The guy who's right next to that Vanderhalp deals six points of damage. Hey, with an axe, it.
Nah, it's gonna hurt you.
[00:56:15] Speaker C: First.
[00:56:16] Speaker B: It rolls to hit you. What's your AC100? Oh, what's your real AC?
[00:56:22] Speaker C: 14.
[00:56:22] Speaker B: 14.
Well, I hit.
Do you have any reaction? Oh, you're 19 is what I hit.
[00:56:31] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, if it's damage, I can.
[00:56:33] Speaker B: Uncanny dodge and have the damage.
I'm gonna do some damage here.
[00:56:38] Speaker C: I like to uncanny dodge and half the damage.
[00:56:42] Speaker B: Okay, so are you a large or smaller creature?
[00:56:46] Speaker C: I am small.
[00:56:48] Speaker D: Great.
[00:56:51] Speaker B: Has the whole mouth.
[00:56:52] Speaker C: No, no.
[00:56:54] Speaker B: Just bites right here.
[00:56:56] Speaker C: Right as she's going to bite, I just go, 13.
[00:56:59] Speaker B: Nope. Yeah, 13. 19.
[00:57:04] Speaker C: Actually, DM.
[00:57:05] Speaker B: I'd like to.
[00:57:06] Speaker C: I'd like to.
[00:57:06] Speaker B: 24 points of damage. Oh, no.
[00:57:08] Speaker C: What is that? Okay, as he's biting, I want to go tinsel.
[00:57:11] Speaker B: Tinsel. Tinsel.
Okay. Yeah. You are restrained. And Vanderhob can't use its bite attack or tongue attack on another target.
[00:57:21] Speaker C: So I'm in its mouth.
[00:57:22] Speaker B: Yeah. And you see that little butterfly once again, make friends with it as it's trying to get out. Might be something to grab onto if you're alive.
As it. Through the magic, kind of like absorbs it through its tongue. As it. It's an energy of blue lightning as it tries to swallow you on this turn.
[00:57:47] Speaker C: That's not good.
[00:57:49] Speaker B: I make a bite attack against you.
14.
[00:57:57] Speaker C: I just got gn.
[00:57:58] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. You become swallowed.
The swallowed creature is blind and restrained. It has total cover against attacks and. And other effects outside the banner hop. It takes.
[00:58:09] Speaker C: Oh, you're smart.
[00:58:10] Speaker B: Oh, it takes damage.
How many?
I'm gonna remember this on its next turn.
If you're still within the creature's mouth by its next turn, I mean I'm.
[00:58:21] Speaker C: In Your stomach now, right?
[00:58:22] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can crawl out of it maybe as the creature.
[00:58:30] Speaker C: That's not good.
[00:58:32] Speaker B: No, it's not. What did I do? How much I'm gonna move was here. 5, 20. 25. It's gonna move another 10.
[00:58:39] Speaker D: 5Ft.
[00:58:39] Speaker B: 30Ft. As we go to Top initiative. Top Initiative. First we go to the big boys.
[00:58:48] Speaker A: We don't have a environment action.
[00:58:51] Speaker B: It's still at the bottom of initiative.
Some people are trying to come and help you.
[00:58:57] Speaker C: That's great.
[00:59:00] Speaker B: I need you all to roll a D20. Add plus 2.
[00:59:03] Speaker D: Add plus.
[00:59:06] Speaker C: 14.
[00:59:07] Speaker A: 11, 18.
[00:59:08] Speaker B: 18 hits. Roll me a D6.
[00:59:12] Speaker A: That's a fun way to do that.
[00:59:13] Speaker D: 3.
[00:59:14] Speaker C: 3.
[00:59:14] Speaker B: It takes three damage. Okay, you see tinsel, Jeffrey, you see that as the one comes up on the back of it and hits it with its axe. And you see the creature almost like it's trying to keep whatever's inside its stomach inside its stomach. Now we have an environmental action.
Yes. Where's my D4?
[00:59:36] Speaker C: Perfect.
[00:59:36] Speaker B: Roll. Roll my D4.
[00:59:37] Speaker A: Ah, we got another one rough.
[00:59:43] Speaker B: I need both of y' all to make.
[00:59:45] Speaker C: That's one way to describe it.
[00:59:46] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:59:50] Speaker D: 17.
[00:59:51] Speaker B: 17 saves.
[00:59:52] Speaker A: I got a 10.
[00:59:54] Speaker B: 10 does not save. But you use your evasion.
[00:59:56] Speaker A: No, I got a. I got a. Oh, my gosh. I got a. A 13.
[01:00:00] Speaker B: 13 just barely doesn't save.
[01:00:03] Speaker A: Okay, well, I would like to evade.
[01:00:04] Speaker B: Okay, so you take half damage. So this is 13 damage. If you saved 6 damage.
It does seem like the hail is not hitting the banderhob at all.
[01:00:17] Speaker C: Good.
[01:00:18] Speaker B: I do need you all to make another D20 deck save. Adding plus one to it this time.
[01:00:22] Speaker C: Not me, right?
[01:00:23] Speaker B: No, you're rolling for the guys.
[01:00:25] Speaker A: Oh, I got a 10.
[01:00:28] Speaker B: 10, 11.
Crush, crush, crush.
[01:00:35] Speaker C: All dead.
[01:00:37] Speaker B: It dealed 13 damage to them. Oh, no. Yeah.
[01:00:40] Speaker D: That's so sad.
[01:00:42] Speaker B: Yeah. All three of them come in, try to help, and they've done a bit of damage to your vanderhob. But each of them almost with, like a proud look on their face. Look to you all. And they like, in the midst of a giant piece of hail, cracking their skulls or crushing them to the ground. They hold their hands high and raise their weapons once more as they fall to their deaths. Frozen.
[01:01:03] Speaker C: So sad.
[01:01:03] Speaker B: Deep eeriness of it all.
Jeffrey, it's your turn.
[01:01:07] Speaker C: That is me, Jaffo.
[01:01:09] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:01:10] Speaker B: Also, one is like the worst for.
[01:01:11] Speaker C: Y' all to roll every time. Just so you know, doing that.
[01:01:13] Speaker A: Guys, I am gonna. Tinsel, you're up next to hit.
[01:01:17] Speaker B: Heck yeah. With two attacks, I do believe Your feline agility comes back. Just so you know.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: It does? Yes.
[01:01:21] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:01:22] Speaker A: That is a 16.
[01:01:27] Speaker B: 16 does not hit my hag. Sorry.
[01:01:32] Speaker A: Oh, that's a 12.
[01:01:33] Speaker B: 12.
[01:01:34] Speaker C: Abby, start rolling higher.
[01:01:35] Speaker A: Flurry of blows.
[01:01:36] Speaker B: Flurry of blows. No worries. I figured as much.
[01:01:40] Speaker A: That is a 19.
[01:01:42] Speaker B: 19 does hit my hat. Good.
[01:01:43] Speaker C: More of that.
[01:01:44] Speaker A: Okay, so I'm gonna roll one more time.
That is a 18.
[01:01:49] Speaker B: 18 does hit my hat. Nice. Let's go, grabby.
[01:01:52] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:01:53] Speaker B: The two staff lows again. She brings out her staff like an anime villain.
And it's uncanny the amount of agility she has. But as you come back up with your two like.
[01:02:04] Speaker A: Wait, can I. Yeah, tell us. Can I.
It's okay. If not, can I hit. Can I use one of my hits with my quarter staff so I can use my stunning strike?
[01:02:15] Speaker B: I think you can make your stunning strike either way.
[01:02:17] Speaker A: It does say when you hit another creature with a melee weapon attack.
[01:02:20] Speaker B: Your feet are melee weapon attacks.
Yeah. Your unarmed strikes are melee weapons.
[01:02:24] Speaker A: Okay, yeah, silly me.
Well then I would like to stunning strike.
[01:02:28] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, I need to make. No, no, no. You're. It might do well. What am I making? A con save?
[01:02:34] Speaker A: You are making a con save. My key save. DC is 1313.
[01:02:40] Speaker B: It's gonna be a nail biter, my friends.
[01:02:43] Speaker C: That's a gorgeous die, Daniel.
[01:02:45] Speaker B: What kind of save?
[01:02:47] Speaker A: Constitution.
[01:02:48] Speaker B: Constitution Saving throw.
So sorry. I got a 13.
Oh, no.
Just so you know, you can do it for both of them, the attacks.
[01:02:59] Speaker A: I guess I'll do that. Okay, so she rolls again.
[01:03:03] Speaker B: Yes. Cool.
[01:03:04] Speaker C: Now it's a key point again, right?
[01:03:05] Speaker B: It is another key point. She rolled a 20 this time. I'm so sorry.
I didn't mean to be like.
[01:03:10] Speaker C: Well, you should just waste all your stuff.
[01:03:13] Speaker B: But yeah, so both of your. You drop kinking her with your bottom feet.
[01:03:17] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:03:17] Speaker B: And you go for my claws. Oh, never mind. You go with your claws or your feet. Claws or no claws.
[01:03:23] Speaker C: You could be like rabbit kicking all the way.
[01:03:24] Speaker A: Finger claws.
[01:03:25] Speaker B: Finger claws. You drop your staff for just a second as you bring out your claws and you try to scrap out her eyes. And you deal damage.
[01:03:32] Speaker A: Okay, I do apologize. I have another question. Monks can typically use their dexterity instead of their strength.
[01:03:37] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:03:37] Speaker A: Can I use that for my claws as well? Okay, just check.
[01:03:39] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[01:03:40] Speaker A: Okay, so.
[01:03:43] Speaker B: Your hands are D6s right now, right?
Heck yeah.
[01:03:47] Speaker C: It's really funny how, like when we're playing with each other, like, if you're DMing, you're fine.
[01:03:51] Speaker B: DMing.
[01:03:52] Speaker C: Every time we make a ruling, we like look at each other to check.
[01:03:56] Speaker A: 7.
[01:03:57] Speaker B: Seven for the first one. Yes.
[01:03:59] Speaker A: Oh, and I get another.
[01:04:00] Speaker B: Yeah, you do six.
[01:04:02] Speaker C: All right.
[01:04:02] Speaker B: Seven and six. So 13 all together. It's pretty good.
[01:04:06] Speaker C: That's pretty good.
[01:04:08] Speaker B: How neat is that?
[01:04:10] Speaker C: That's pretty neat.
[01:04:11] Speaker B: Okay. You have done damage to my hag.
[01:04:14] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:04:14] Speaker B: My hag needs to mix two. Deck contest.
[01:04:17] Speaker A: Oh, yes.
[01:04:19] Speaker B: I make both of them.
[01:04:20] Speaker C: Those are both really good.
[01:04:21] Speaker A: Is that for concentration?
[01:04:22] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:04:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:04:24] Speaker B: The wall almost begins to reform where they had broken it. Probably sealing you off to your doom. Tinsel. Yeah. It's your turn, Rodrick. You're on deck.
[01:04:34] Speaker D: Okay. I am going to cast desonate Whispers. Nice on the frogman.
[01:04:46] Speaker C: Nice.
[01:04:50] Speaker D: And as I do it. I know I haven't. We don't know if he's gonna get it or not. But as I do it, like, I ring the bells and you hear this, and it's like.
It's Sugar Plum Fairy, like, coming out, but it's, like, whispery and it's red and green. Sparkles.
Wisdom saving.
[01:05:13] Speaker B: Throw on my bender hog.
Right?
[01:05:15] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:05:18] Speaker C: Stop it. Stop rolling. Good. Stop.
[01:05:21] Speaker B: I got a 19 on my wisdom saving bad.
[01:05:24] Speaker D: But you still take half jam.
[01:05:26] Speaker B: You guys take half damage. And I am. I mean. Oh, my banderhob looking bloodied.
[01:05:31] Speaker C: Hey. Hey.
[01:05:31] Speaker B: Good frozen. A little chilly. Looking frosty. A little frosty of snowman action over here.
[01:05:40] Speaker D: That's 12, so six points of damage. Can I do my fury of the small and add 3.3 damage to it. Damage to it.
[01:05:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[01:05:54] Speaker C: I'm pleased to see how much you're already enjoying.
[01:05:56] Speaker D: Oh, I love it so much.
[01:06:00] Speaker B: And.
[01:06:03] Speaker D: I'm going to to give as I do that. That is gonna inspire Jeffrey. And I'm gonna give him a bar.
[01:06:12] Speaker B: He's inspired.
Okay.
The banderhob, it's not his turn. But it is.
[01:06:20] Speaker C: It has to not be his turn at some point.
[01:06:22] Speaker B: So you're incapacitated and restraint. No, not incapacity.
[01:06:27] Speaker C: I was gonna say I'm incapacity.
[01:06:29] Speaker B: You're blinded.
[01:06:30] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:06:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:30] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:06:31] Speaker B: So that means you have no movement.
[01:06:32] Speaker C: I was born in the stomach.
[01:06:33] Speaker B: You're born in the stomach?
[01:06:34] Speaker C: Molded.
[01:06:35] Speaker B: Molded by it.
If you wanted to, you could make. You could try to make an escape.
[01:06:42] Speaker C: I don't have to.
[01:06:42] Speaker B: I can. I can do that.
Is that a bad job?
Yes.
[01:06:48] Speaker C: I didn't know you could just climb out of a stomach.
[01:06:50] Speaker B: You can try to climb out of the stomach.
[01:06:52] Speaker C: I thought that required an attack.
[01:06:54] Speaker B: No. Technically, neither of those things are actually options. But here we are. Here's your option. Okay.
[01:06:58] Speaker C: And I appreciate.
Hey, I'm trying to. I'm trying to.
You know what? You know what, Miss? I. I asked if we had homework. I'm doing the you thing, so back off.
[01:07:08] Speaker D: Okay?
[01:07:08] Speaker C: All right. I'm vegan, but, no, I'm not. I love meat.
What ability is that?
[01:07:15] Speaker B: It's gonna be an athletics check to climb through its stomach.
[01:07:21] Speaker A: Slippery.
[01:07:22] Speaker B: Or you can try to.
[01:07:23] Speaker C: Let's do.
Eighteen. Dm.
[01:07:32] Speaker B: Eighteen. That's gonna beat the arbitrary.
[01:07:34] Speaker C: Heck, yeah.
[01:07:36] Speaker B: PC That I did. My DC dm, Roderick.
[01:07:40] Speaker C: I. I would like to.
I mean, I know I'm not dealing damage to him, but just while I'm in there, I'm just. I'm in the stomach going, oh, no.
[01:07:46] Speaker B: Oh, no, no, no, no.
[01:07:48] Speaker C: And I'm just really freaked out. I want to say that I just, like, pull out a dagger, I find the.
The sphincter muscle up at the top of the stomach, and I just jab it really fast. And as it freaks out, I just, like. I just, like, push all my quills in, and I go, no, no, no.
It's, like, not cool. I'm just like.
[01:08:05] Speaker B: I'm having a panic attack.
[01:08:06] Speaker C: I'm just like, no, no, no, no, no, no. And as I'm, like, flinging out of the mouth, I'm gonna try and use a bonus action to grab the butterfly.
Is that a bonus action?
[01:08:16] Speaker B: It's gonna be a bonus action.
[01:08:17] Speaker C: Sorry, I wasn't trying to dictate the economy.
[01:08:19] Speaker B: I.
To give me a. An opposed grapple check. Oh, no. So you're gonna use athletics.
[01:08:25] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:08:26] Speaker B: Or acrobatics.
[01:08:28] Speaker C: I can use acrobatics. Yes.
[01:08:29] Speaker D: Remember, you have arctic inspiration.
[01:08:31] Speaker B: You have bark inspiration. I roll a one, Zach. You know, Nat. Ones aren't that ones. And anything else.
[01:08:38] Speaker C: Okay, you know what?
[01:08:39] Speaker B: Fine.
[01:08:40] Speaker C: What am I holding on this thing for rolling.
[01:08:43] Speaker D: What are you gonna.
[01:08:44] Speaker C: I don't know. Get out of my face. It's a D6.
[01:08:46] Speaker D: D8.
[01:08:47] Speaker B: D8.
[01:08:51] Speaker C: That's terrible. I got a 2. I'm up to 3. 7.
[01:08:55] Speaker B: 7 does not beat my terrible 12.
[01:08:58] Speaker C: Yeah, probably not, but I couldn't listen to you.
[01:09:03] Speaker B: Anyway. You grab for it, and the tongue, like, in its terrible mouth as it thought you were back down, as you come back into its throne, it's like, you see its tongue just, like, almost bat. Almost like a river almost getting your dm.
[01:09:20] Speaker C: Can I say that? It's not even that it beats me, but just that I touch the tongue. I'm like. And I just go back, and I'm just gonna jab it in the mouth really quickly again. And I'm just gonna have its mouth into the snow.
[01:09:28] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:09:29] Speaker C: No, I'm in its mouth.
[01:09:30] Speaker B: I stuck there.
You gotta escape levels.
[01:09:34] Speaker C: Okay, that's fair.
I still have an action, right?
[01:09:38] Speaker B: No, your action was crawling out of this man's.
[01:09:40] Speaker C: That's totally fair. Do I have movement?
[01:09:43] Speaker B: No, I don't think so.
[01:09:45] Speaker D: You have five inches of movement.
[01:09:50] Speaker C: My reaction fart. Yeah, I fart in his throat.
[01:09:58] Speaker B: And in a rumble of.
[01:10:01] Speaker C: I just. I just go.
I'm just. I'm in the door.
No, no, I'm just crying.
This is awful.
[01:10:12] Speaker B: This is.
[01:10:12] Speaker C: This is the worst day of Roderick's life. This is the worst day.
[01:10:18] Speaker B: It has to be within 5ft of the creature before it died.
[01:10:20] Speaker A: Damn.
[01:10:24] Speaker B: Anyway, it's gonna look at you and be like, how's our friend? How's our neighborhood feline feeling?
Bad. Bad.
Are you?
[01:10:37] Speaker D: You're bloodied.
[01:10:38] Speaker B: Oh, yes.
[01:10:39] Speaker D: I'm also bloody.
[01:10:39] Speaker B: The hag is gonna be, like, not doing great.
[01:10:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:10:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Frozen.
[01:10:45] Speaker C: Hold her together.
This is not going well.
[01:10:49] Speaker B: Not great. Not Great. What's your AC?
[01:10:52] Speaker A: My AC is 15.
[01:10:53] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:10:54] Speaker C: You remember when you gave this a really cheery, fun title?
[01:10:58] Speaker B: A9 does not seem to come away.
[01:10:59] Speaker C: It does not seem to connect.
[01:11:00] Speaker B: It does not seem to connect as she brings up her own staff and tries to bonk you with it. And again in Anime Realm, you and just get it right in time. And sadly, she does not have any cool other aspects to her fighting. So she just hits once.
She licks her teeth that are falling out.
[01:11:18] Speaker C: Stop doing that.
[01:11:19] Speaker B: And she's gotta stop. You will taste good.
[01:11:22] Speaker D: Oh, my God.
Is that all you got?
[01:11:27] Speaker A: But only one hit.
[01:11:29] Speaker C: I love to imagine that he said it and then went. I could say that.
[01:11:31] Speaker B: Deeper.
[01:11:31] Speaker C: And then said it again.
[01:11:32] Speaker B: Deeper.
[01:11:33] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:11:34] Speaker C: Abby, that patch is, like, really impressive.
[01:11:38] Speaker A: Fun fact.
[01:11:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:11:39] Speaker A: This part actually washes away.
There's the patches.
[01:11:44] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:11:45] Speaker A: So all you'll see is the thread.
[01:11:47] Speaker C: And the patch underneath Lowe's. I'm a short guy.
[01:11:51] Speaker B: Well, yeah.
A swallow once more.
[01:11:56] Speaker C: I just. I just.
[01:12:01] Speaker B: I got a 25 digit.
You're swallowed once more. All the other stuff happens.
[01:12:06] Speaker D: Once more.
[01:12:08] Speaker B: Can I.
[01:12:08] Speaker C: Is this a swallow?
[01:12:09] Speaker B: Can I make a bite attack, bro?
[01:12:11] Speaker C: No, I'm inside of you.
[01:12:13] Speaker D: His teeth are up here.
[01:12:14] Speaker B: His mouth is.
[01:12:17] Speaker C: I'm in his stomach. Back off.
[01:12:19] Speaker B: Yeah, it's.
[01:12:20] Speaker C: It's got a stomach. It's gonna hold out the fill.
[01:12:23] Speaker B: No, I'm not gonna say it can bite, but it's definitely gonna use its tongue.
[01:12:27] Speaker A: It's gonna jump on Its tummy.
[01:12:29] Speaker C: It literally can't use its tongue. I'm past its tongue.
[01:12:32] Speaker B: Wait, why is it over here? Why is it over here?
Okay, action. Because it's got some magical stuff with it. It's gonna use a claw this time. Not very good claw, but a claw indeed.
What is your AC12? 13 hits.
[01:12:47] Speaker C: This man has to be stopped.
Can't trust the ginger. I've said it before, I'll say it again.
[01:12:52] Speaker B: I would not say a bite does that much damage. We're gonna say it's gonna do this much damage instead.
12 points of DiMaggio as it brings out its claw and slashes through you. Just a wee bit.
[01:13:09] Speaker C: Noah should have played.
No, it should have played.
[01:13:13] Speaker B: As we go to.
All the other helpers are dead. The wall of ice is keeping anyone else from coming back in because it is death. And.
[01:13:24] Speaker C: Yep. Cool.
[01:13:24] Speaker B: Who would like to roll my effect?
[01:13:26] Speaker C: Me, I guess.
Stupid little punk. If you roll a one.
[01:13:33] Speaker B: Three. Three.
[01:13:34] Speaker C: You just have to intimidate the dice guys. That's all. It Rain slicks.
[01:13:37] Speaker B: Your weapon. Everyone who's fighting with a melee weapon in the next round has disadvantage on the attacks taken.
Jeffrey, it's your turn.
Yeah.
[01:13:48] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:13:49] Speaker C: Well, but that means everybody, right? That's him, the hag and the Bannerhob.
[01:13:53] Speaker B: It's definitely going to be one of those two.
[01:13:54] Speaker A: Okay, well, can I have another GT20 please?
[01:13:58] Speaker D: Sure you don't like yours being mean?
[01:14:01] Speaker B: Disadvantage.
[01:14:02] Speaker A: So going to attack twice. Okay.
Plus six.
[01:14:09] Speaker D: Ten.
[01:14:09] Speaker B: Okay. First attack doesn't hit.
[01:14:11] Speaker C: We should start rolling higher.
[01:14:13] Speaker B: Oh, you got a nat one. You did. Yes.
[01:14:15] Speaker D: And a two.
[01:14:16] Speaker A: Oh yeah, I did.
Does that mean something?
[01:14:19] Speaker B: Guys, roll me a D6.
[01:14:20] Speaker C: This fight's going bad.
[01:14:24] Speaker D: I don't remember the last time I. There's like the whole party was this poorly.
Did you hear it?
[01:14:32] Speaker C: Did you hear him?
[01:14:33] Speaker B: Go.
Next turn.
You have never hit with your stupid stick.
It will not connect next turn. So for the next turn after this turn, you are convinced that you will not be able to hit with your staff. So you can only use your hands to attack.
[01:14:53] Speaker A: Wow.
[01:14:55] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:14:58] Speaker A: I like that mechanic.
[01:14:59] Speaker C: I also. I just wanna. I just wanna point out really quickly most it. Almost all of the damage that's been dealt to the Banderhob so far was dealt by the Hag's ice wall and.
[01:15:09] Speaker B: Her spell and his tongue.
[01:15:11] Speaker C: Currently defeated.
We are so incompetent. It's crazy.
[01:15:17] Speaker B: So you still have a bonus action?
[01:15:19] Speaker C: Yeah, it was a funny joke when we were level four. It's bad at level eight.
[01:15:25] Speaker B: What? Which monk did you pick.
[01:15:27] Speaker A: I took the open hand.
[01:15:29] Speaker B: Open hand. Hell, yeah.
I should have done that.
Yeah. Probably should have done that. Yeah.
Would you like to do something with that?
[01:15:41] Speaker A: Well, I already did my action, so.
[01:15:44] Speaker B: Sorry.
[01:15:45] Speaker C: Hey, next time, if there is a.
[01:15:48] Speaker B: Next time, let's say let's.
[01:15:49] Speaker A: Okay, okay.
[01:15:49] Speaker D: Let's make a third. Jeffrey, it'll be fine.
[01:15:52] Speaker C: Yeah, but I can't make another wandering.
I don't want to get eaten by a frog.
12.
[01:16:07] Speaker A: Wait, 14?
[01:16:09] Speaker B: What about 15?
[01:16:11] Speaker D: Can I interest you in a 17?
[01:16:13] Speaker B: Hear me out. 18.
[01:16:16] Speaker C: No, stop.
[01:16:19] Speaker B: Can you roll me another D6?
[01:16:20] Speaker C: Stop doing it.
[01:16:22] Speaker D: Better die next turn.
[01:16:23] Speaker C: You piss your pants.
Oh, good.
[01:16:26] Speaker B: That's the only good option out of these D rolls. You don't have any ill effects.
[01:16:30] Speaker D: Oh, wow.
[01:16:32] Speaker B: Cool. 6. You should get some good stuff out of it.
[01:16:34] Speaker A: Okay.
Yeah. That's it for me, guys.
[01:16:38] Speaker C: This is not going Tencel.
[01:16:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:16:43] Speaker D: I'm gonna.
[01:16:44] Speaker C: My heart rate.
[01:16:45] Speaker D: I'm gonna. Bonus action.
Nimble escape.
[01:16:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:16:48] Speaker D: From him.
And then I think I. I've gotta stay alive to be able to save Roderick. So I'm gonna cure wounds myself at the third level. Because I'm like, your girl's way past.
Yeah. How many is that? If it's third level? Yeah.
[01:17:07] Speaker C: Do you want me to move you, Jackie?
[01:17:09] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:17:10] Speaker B: 30.
[01:17:13] Speaker D: Yeah, do 30. That. Yeah.
[01:17:16] Speaker A: Okay, so.
[01:17:26] Speaker B: 12 plus. Plus whatever smell bonifier you have, which is charisma.
[01:17:32] Speaker D: 14 points of healing.
[01:17:34] Speaker B: 14 points of healing. Very good amount of healing.
[01:17:36] Speaker C: That's good.
You know what I was just thinking? I was. I was in Hearthstone mindset, and I was thinking, like, oh, if this was, like, a last moment for Nath, he could, like, say V's name and try and, like, lightning bolt. But then I was like, well, that's the wrong campaign.
[01:17:51] Speaker B: That's not.
[01:17:52] Speaker C: I can't do that.
[01:17:52] Speaker B: No. Haven't heard that person here.
[01:17:54] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:17:55] Speaker B: That'd be sick, though.
[01:17:56] Speaker D: So, yeah, I guess that's my turn. That's all I could do. Yeah.
[01:18:02] Speaker B: Give me highs or lows.
[01:18:04] Speaker C: He's trying so hard to be merciful.
Guys, what is this?
[01:18:11] Speaker D: I don't know.
[01:18:12] Speaker C: Kendrick, it's your turn.
[01:18:13] Speaker D: You have me and Abby, who normally are the high rollers.
[01:18:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:18:17] Speaker C: Yeah. You guys remember four years of being lucky in barely D and D? It's all coming back now.
[01:18:23] Speaker B: Yeah. Megan Grun, you're never rolling.
[01:18:24] Speaker C: Well, okay.
Screw getting out of this guy.
[01:18:28] Speaker B: Screw getting.
[01:18:28] Speaker C: I'm killing this frog.
[01:18:30] Speaker B: So.
[01:18:33] Speaker C: Do I have sneak attack in the stomach now? Before you respond, can I make a case?
[01:18:37] Speaker B: I'm gonna make You a case of. You have advantage in the stomach.
[01:18:41] Speaker C: Okay. Sick, sick, sick. Can I get it? Can I get a D20? Yeah. Can I get your best D20?
Your luckiest D20.
[01:18:48] Speaker B: This is pretty good.
[01:18:49] Speaker C: Okay, listen here, you little lovely. Die.
[01:18:54] Speaker B: Please help me. I want the character so much.
[01:19:06] Speaker C: Oh, you frog. Roll me some damage.
[01:19:08] Speaker D: Let's go.
[01:19:09] Speaker C: That's why I have sneak attack on this, right?
[01:19:11] Speaker B: Yes.
Okay.
[01:19:15] Speaker C: Can I get four more D6?
[01:19:18] Speaker B: Yeah.
Oh.
[01:19:22] Speaker C: Meat'S back on the menu, boys.
[01:19:25] Speaker D: What?
[01:19:26] Speaker C: It's from Lord of the Rings.
[01:19:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, I rolled really good.
[01:19:31] Speaker C: Okay, okay, okay.
10, 15. 25, 37, plus one.
38.
I deal 38 points of piercing damage.
[01:19:51] Speaker B: Zach, how would you.
Okay.
[01:19:59] Speaker C: I was sweating. I was. I was getting kind of stressy. Spaghetti just there. Okay. I just blew out my own voice. So, Roderick, humor gone. Genuinely concerned for his life. He's just gonna panic. He's gonna panic. He's gonna panic, and he's go. I don't die like this.
[01:20:14] Speaker B: I just.
[01:20:15] Speaker C: And he's gonna pull out his rapier, and he's gonna, like. He's gonna, like, focus for a second, and he's gonna, like, follow the pattern of his breathing while the acid's burning him. Yeah. And he's gonna. He's gonna, like, put his finger into the wall lining of the stomach and try and grab a line, like a fold of the pill eye. And then he's going to, like, like, breathe the.
[01:20:33] Speaker B: The little.
[01:20:34] Speaker C: Anyway, you don't want me to explain. And then he's got. He's gonna take his rapier. He's gonna go.
And he's just gonna jab the rapier out through the stomach and out of the Banderhawk. And as he pulls it out, he's gonna, very quickly, with nimble rogue hands, like, pull the rapier back, pull a dagger out of the belt, stick it through the hole, and then cut downward until he just spills out of the stomach. Oh, yeah.
[01:20:58] Speaker B: Abby. Yes.
[01:20:59] Speaker A: Grab the. Grab this. Grab the butterfly.
[01:21:01] Speaker B: Hold on. Hold on.
The belly flays open as the creature.
[01:21:08] Speaker C: I sloth out here.
[01:21:09] Speaker B: As you see, the tongue goes as far as it can. It goes about 5 to 10ft out of its mouth as the butterfly onto the ground next to Roddy as he sloughs down onto the ground as the creature dies its terrible death.
[01:21:25] Speaker C: And tm, as a. As a.
A free action on the outside, I.
[01:21:30] Speaker B: Just go, oh, no.
[01:21:33] Speaker C: And that was. That was my. Yeah. Now I have a bonus action. You.
[01:21:42] Speaker B: Do?
[01:21:42] Speaker C: I have to pick between grabbing the butterfly and moving that's not good.
[01:21:47] Speaker D: But he's dead.
[01:21:48] Speaker C: Yeah. We are in a cone. We're in a triangle.
[01:21:52] Speaker B: Once more, you are. Once more, I am having you in a triangle.
[01:21:56] Speaker C: I. I need to stay alive. I can come back for this butterfly. If I die, we're screwed.
[01:22:02] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:22:02] Speaker C: So I'm going to bonus action dash with my whole 25. So I'm gonna. Oh, I exit prone, don't I?
[01:22:08] Speaker B: Well, give me a dex save. Okay.
[01:22:14] Speaker C: 23.
[01:22:15] Speaker B: Yeah. You do not exit prone.
[01:22:16] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:22:17] Speaker B: Monster inside of a terrible creature.
[01:22:19] Speaker C: A hero landing in the.
And then I'm going to 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. Just so that we do not make a nice cup. Hell, yeah.
[01:22:32] Speaker B: Not doing good.
[01:22:33] Speaker C: Okay, that's my turn. That is definitely my turn. I have nothing else.
[01:22:36] Speaker B: The hag. Licking its fingers. Ready to kill you. Ready to attack.
Glints in the eye.
I came for my babushka.
5, 10, 15.
Oh, yes.
[01:22:56] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. I'm sorry.
[01:22:57] Speaker D: I would like to.
[01:22:58] Speaker A: I can only attack. Wait. It's still disadvantage. And I can only attack once anyway.
[01:23:02] Speaker C: With your.
[01:23:02] Speaker B: One of your D6 attacks, basically.
[01:23:06] Speaker D: Oh. Because I.
[01:23:06] Speaker A: Does this count as my next attack on my next turn?
[01:23:10] Speaker B: Oh, hijerless.
Yes. This counts as your one. So you'll be able to use your staff next time, since you're using your reaction to attack right now.
[01:23:21] Speaker A: That's a. That's a. That's a. That was a 5, not 11.
[01:23:26] Speaker B: 11 does not seem to connect. 15.
No, it's only one attack when you're reactioning. A 15. 20, 25, 30.
She scoops up the sapphire.
That's you are mine.
As she, like, tries to infuse it into herself. As you see the butterfly wings, it squirms. That's what I was doing with those noises. You probably didn't know that.
[01:23:56] Speaker C: As she picked up the babushka.
[01:23:59] Speaker B: No.
[01:24:00] Speaker C: She kind of pushed it into her own body.
[01:24:01] Speaker B: She's got magical aura.
[01:24:03] Speaker C: Awesome.
[01:24:03] Speaker D: She pushed it into her own body?
[01:24:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:24:05] Speaker A: Like how?
[01:24:07] Speaker D: Like into her chest.
[01:24:08] Speaker B: With her butt. With her butt.
[01:24:14] Speaker C: Okay, this is not good, guys.
[01:24:18] Speaker B: Is she a wisdom caster or charisma caster? Is she a charisma caster?
Why?
[01:24:24] Speaker C: I think so.
[01:24:25] Speaker A: Why?
[01:24:25] Speaker B: Why?
[01:24:26] Speaker C: Yeah, but here, hag specifically, I don't remember why.
[01:24:28] Speaker B: Okay, well, it's going to gain all.
It's going to. As you see, the babochka cleanses some of the wounds. Dope.
[01:24:39] Speaker C: Awesome.
[01:24:39] Speaker B: She feels very good as she laughs maniacally at each of these Butterfly laughs maniacally at each of you.
[01:24:46] Speaker C: Her turn.
[01:24:47] Speaker B: Done.
All right. We have a D4 to be rolled. Who wants to roll it?
Do you want that to be a.
[01:24:57] Speaker A: Roll three better than one.
[01:25:00] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:25:00] Speaker B: How about we try the rolling? Okay.
That's the Hidden Yan.
[01:25:05] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, we need that.
No, no, no, no. One, one, one. No, no, no, no.
[01:25:13] Speaker B: Here's what I'm gonna do.
Highs or lows? He's.
[01:25:17] Speaker C: Do you see how many breaks he's trying to give us.
[01:25:22] Speaker B: Between the two? That was a terrible.
[01:25:25] Speaker D: Oh, three.
[01:25:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
Melee weapon dis disadvantage. Okay.
[01:25:34] Speaker C: It's better than all of us dying.
[01:25:35] Speaker B: Yes, it is. Your turn.
Okay, here, let's give you a better D20 than that one.
[01:25:40] Speaker C: Thank you.
[01:25:41] Speaker D: Let's give you a better one.
[01:25:44] Speaker B: Would you like to roll up next to it?
[01:25:46] Speaker A: What does this one mean?
[01:25:47] Speaker B: Oh, circle.
[01:25:48] Speaker A: Good.
[01:25:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:25:49] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:25:49] Speaker D: Circle. Good.
[01:25:52] Speaker A: Okay, whatever.
I would like to use my wholeness of body as an action.
I would like to regain hit points equal to three times my monk level, which I wrote down. Which.
[01:26:06] Speaker C: That's really good.
[01:26:07] Speaker A: Should be 40, right?
[01:26:10] Speaker C: That's 24.
[01:26:11] Speaker B: Times eight is 24. I wrote.
[01:26:13] Speaker A: I wrote a different.
[01:26:13] Speaker C: Math is tough.
[01:26:14] Speaker A: 24. No, I. I had a different thing that was three times my month.
[01:26:17] Speaker C: Level five, which is still 24.
[01:26:19] Speaker B: Oh, shush.
[01:26:22] Speaker C: All right.
[01:26:23] Speaker B: You grab into yourself, Jeffrey looking at the dead Banderhop looking at the destroyed statue and you're like, embody the real Jeffrey. Embody the real Jeffrey.
[01:26:34] Speaker C: I'm the real Jeffrey.
[01:26:36] Speaker B: Well, the real Jeffrey, as your little fabu gives you a bit of health.
[01:26:41] Speaker A: Yes, yes, I give it a little pet.
Okay.
[01:26:47] Speaker B: Bonus action. That.
[01:26:52] Speaker C: No, the one you're holding is. But you can have both.
[01:26:54] Speaker A: No, this one is mine.
[01:26:55] Speaker C: Okay, it's mine.
[01:26:59] Speaker B: Until you are up next.
[01:27:00] Speaker A: Just so you know, I would like to. No, I can't. Okay. I would like to.
I'm gonna throw.
[01:27:08] Speaker D: No.
[01:27:09] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll start again. Bonus action dart.
Is that what you're trying?
[01:27:13] Speaker A: Is that a bonus action?
[01:27:15] Speaker C: It's the light weapon you can use as a bonus action. Can I do it as a bonus action? Yeah.
[01:27:19] Speaker A: Well.
[01:27:21] Speaker B: It'Ll be at normal.
It's gonna be the same as you're rolling to hit another thing.
[01:27:26] Speaker C: Yes, it's a hag.
[01:27:27] Speaker A: See, that's the thing where it's currently killing us.
[01:27:29] Speaker B: And It'll be a D4 Plus.
[01:27:31] Speaker C: It does look like.
[01:27:33] Speaker B: Does it?
[01:27:34] Speaker A: What is it?
[01:27:35] Speaker B: It's the same as your normal attacks with your decks. Yeah.
[01:27:38] Speaker C: So it's plus 16.
[01:27:39] Speaker B: 16. Yeah. Does not seem to care.
Magical aura seems to give her a bit of a shield.
[01:27:46] Speaker C: Oh, that's so great. That's so great. It's so good.
[01:27:50] Speaker B: Dart extended tinsel. It is your turn.
[01:27:52] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:27:53] Speaker B: Oh, before. Do you want to move?
[01:27:57] Speaker C: You don't have to close her to hit next time so that she has an opportunity attack to move away from you.
[01:28:01] Speaker A: I'm sorry.
[01:28:02] Speaker B: I got you though.
Roger, you're on the next.
[01:28:13] Speaker D: I am going to try and Cat. Oh, she's right there.
[01:28:21] Speaker B: Dang it.
[01:28:21] Speaker D: Hold on. No, within 20ft of a point, I choose.
20ft of a point, I choose. So if I choose a point over here.
5, 10, 15, 20. If I choose this point and it's within 20ft of this point.
[01:28:39] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15, twenty.
[01:28:41] Speaker D: Jeffrey.
[01:28:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
20ft.
[01:28:43] Speaker D: So if I do here, will it will not affect. Okay, so I'm going to put a point. I'm going to choose this point right here.
[01:28:49] Speaker B: Which one?
[01:28:50] Speaker D: And I'm going to cast sleep.
[01:28:54] Speaker B: Can I advise you to not.
[01:28:56] Speaker D: Yeah, okay.
[01:28:59] Speaker B: You don't have enough.
[01:29:00] Speaker C: DH Sleep's really awesome on super, super weak enemies.
[01:29:04] Speaker B: Like if this one. This one. This one was almost dead, you might have been able to get it. Yeah, she just regained all her health.
[01:29:08] Speaker D: Oh, okay.
[01:29:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:29:09] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:29:10] Speaker B: Sleep's tough on you saw that. You saw that though?
[01:29:12] Speaker D: Yeah, I did. I did. I've never used it before.
[01:29:15] Speaker C: It's really good.
[01:29:16] Speaker B: Low level. Yeah.
[01:29:17] Speaker C: Attacks like guards are guarding a door. Sleep rocks.
[01:29:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:29:20] Speaker C: Not against the big.
[01:29:21] Speaker D: Okay, no problem. So I'm going to use Cloud of Daggers.
[01:29:27] Speaker C: Oh, wait. Yeah, much. Good choice.
[01:29:30] Speaker D: And I'm gonna cast it at the third level.
[01:29:36] Speaker B: Holden has destroyed my character.
[01:29:38] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:29:38] Speaker B: This thing.
[01:29:39] Speaker C: Cloud of Daggers is sick.
[01:29:40] Speaker D: I did. I. I did 46 damage with Cloud of Daggers the last time we played.
[01:29:49] Speaker A: Wow.
[01:29:50] Speaker D: Okay, where's my. Where's my. Where is it at? I need it.
[01:29:54] Speaker B: It's.
[01:29:55] Speaker C: It's under C. I know.
[01:29:56] Speaker D: I'm so sorry. Okay, so if it's 44. So it's gonna be.
[01:30:05] Speaker B: If you upcasted, do you get more?
[01:30:06] Speaker D: Yeah. So there's two D4 and there's. Where's my other D4?
No, I draw any.
[01:30:18] Speaker B: They've been nothing but nice.
[01:30:19] Speaker D: I don't know.
Although mine have not been nice. Okay. One, two, three.
Where'd the other one go? It was right there.
[01:30:26] Speaker C: I just watched Jackie try to pick a D4 up.
[01:30:29] Speaker D: 3, 4, 5.
Wow. How many do I need? It's 44 and then you get it. Increases by two D4 for each slot.
[01:30:39] Speaker B: So.
[01:30:40] Speaker C: So two more.
[01:30:40] Speaker B: Eight D4. Yeah.
Shut up. Oh, triangular.
[01:30:48] Speaker D: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
[01:30:51] Speaker B: One more you can use The.
The environmental one, if you want.
[01:30:55] Speaker C: Oh, man, Jackie.
[01:30:56] Speaker B: There you go.
[01:30:56] Speaker C: We're really, really dragging this out.
[01:30:58] Speaker D: I'm so sorry.
[01:30:59] Speaker B: It just happens, right? And is it at the beginning of your turns that it's gonna happen again?
[01:31:02] Speaker D: You feel the air, the point. You choose when it enters or just. It just says in a cube, 5ft on each side, centered on a point. You choose within range. It doesn't say if it happens on my.
[01:31:14] Speaker B: It says when it enters it.
[01:31:17] Speaker D: Yes, but I casted it on her.
[01:31:24] Speaker B: Got.
[01:31:25] Speaker C: So on her turn, it'll happen.
[01:31:27] Speaker B: Well, no, it's going to happen right now. And if she stays in that spot, it's going to happen again. We're going to say it's at the end of turns because there's so much other fun little details. It's 84.
Do.
[01:31:38] Speaker C: The.
[01:31:39] Speaker B: The. The. Do all the daggers have, like, little bells on the end of them? They're, like.
[01:31:45] Speaker D: Little like you. This is what I did last time. I remember. It's like little sugar plums. Like visions of sugar plums dancing in your head. It's like that, but they're, like, sharp. They're like little.
[01:31:55] Speaker B: Yeah, like, this is Halloween.
[01:31:58] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:31:58] Speaker C: Everyone just missed my wife burping next to my head.
[01:32:03] Speaker B: We.
[01:32:04] Speaker C: We were made for each other.
[01:32:05] Speaker D: Not true.
[01:32:06] Speaker C: It just happened.
[01:32:08] Speaker A: F. Not true.
[01:32:09] Speaker B: Wrong.
Wrong.
[01:32:12] Speaker D: 21 points of 101.
[01:32:14] Speaker B: 21 points of slashing is a good amount of damage that has been done to this hag con.
[01:32:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:32:26] Speaker D: And I am concentrating now.
[01:32:30] Speaker B: It. Her wicked gaze goes towards you as she says, perhaps you will be next.
[01:32:38] Speaker D: Oh, wait.
[01:32:39] Speaker B: That's in action.
[01:32:40] Speaker D: Yeah, that was an action. Can I. Bonus action vertically. Inspire Roddy.
[01:32:45] Speaker B: Roddy is inspired once more.
[01:32:47] Speaker C: No, I'm a hedgehog.
[01:32:49] Speaker B: And then Roddy with the hot body.
Roddick.
[01:32:52] Speaker C: No, that's your.
[01:32:52] Speaker B: No, that's your thing. You're the one who told me how to turn Roderick.
[01:32:57] Speaker C: Yes, it's my turn. Well, there was some blasphemy happening, girl. I have allies within five feet. I have advantage.
[01:33:04] Speaker B: Okay, you don't have advantage. You have sneak attack.
[01:33:07] Speaker C: That's fine if I. Bonus. Action high.
[01:33:10] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:33:12] Speaker C: Hidden doesn't give you advantage.
[01:33:14] Speaker B: It does.
[01:33:15] Speaker C: Oh, but I can't. Bonus. That makes sense. That makes sense. I'm in an open space.
[01:33:17] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:33:22] Speaker C: Oh, it went from the 20 to the 4.
Okay, you have a D8 as your. As your bardic, right, Jackie?
[01:33:30] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:33:32] Speaker B: I'm gonna take the kill. 4.
[01:33:34] Speaker C: What's the average 4 +4 12.
[01:33:36] Speaker B: I know that doesn't hit.
[01:33:37] Speaker C: It's not worth Wasting on.
Because if I. The average on a D8 is a 4. So plus a 4 plus 8 that come out 3 12. That's still too low. I'd have to roll max to hit her. And that's terribly unlikely. So I'm not going to spend the bic. So I just miss with. Miss with an arrow. I'll let you roll next time, baby. Is there anything else useful I get? What got red on my.
[01:33:56] Speaker B: Is that sauce?
[01:33:58] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[01:34:00] Speaker B: This is. It's the marker.
[01:34:02] Speaker A: It's the bur.
[01:34:03] Speaker C: Which what? Markers in my hand.
[01:34:05] Speaker B: I don't know.
[01:34:05] Speaker C: It's.
Yeah. There's no other. I don't. There's no other useful action economy I have. So I'm just gonna.
[01:34:13] Speaker A: His blood.
[01:34:14] Speaker C: I'm gonna.
I'm gonna bonus action.
[01:34:22] Speaker B: Now.
[01:34:22] Speaker C: I'm just gonna move 5, 10, 15, 20 to right here so that it's easier to hide behind this next time and so that now it's really hard to triangulate us in any position.
[01:34:37] Speaker B: True.
[01:34:38] Speaker C: And I actually don't think there's anything else useful I can do on my turn. So I'm just going to bonus action hide to just make it harder to see me. So I'm going to dive behind the statue. Can I roll a stealth check?
[01:34:50] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The bonus action.
Huge.
[01:34:57] Speaker C: Oh, holy cow.
[01:35:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:35:00] Speaker C: 19.
What's my best stop Checking.
[01:35:06] Speaker B: You feel hidden?
[01:35:07] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:35:08] Speaker B: You feel hidden?
[01:35:09] Speaker C: Could you get some sal.
[01:35:13] Speaker B: You feel hidden that it's her turn now? Yeah. So sorry. I was going to explain things. I don't need to explain.
Uhoh.
[01:35:23] Speaker C: Spaghettio measuring things.
I feel like you have both of you.
[01:35:27] Speaker B: Am I right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. 20 foot radius, baby.
That's a cool thing though. Thank you. It's a fireball.
[01:35:37] Speaker D: Cool.
[01:35:37] Speaker C: They said it. And then we all just shut up.
[01:35:40] Speaker B: Concentration.
That's instantaneous.
[01:35:43] Speaker C: Sick.
Has Daniel ever felt so much like the bad guy?
[01:35:50] Speaker D: I feel like we're back at Halloween. One shot.
[01:35:55] Speaker B: This is Daniel.
[01:35:56] Speaker C: This is no longer a Christmas one shot. It's not a Christmas one shot anymore.
[01:36:01] Speaker B: I need both of y' all to make dexterity saving throws. Thank you.
[01:36:07] Speaker D: Oh, man.
[01:36:11] Speaker B: So I'm. I'm feeling cheery.
[01:36:13] Speaker A: I'm just letting you know I got.
I got saving throw dexterity. Plus I got an 8. But I would like to use. Use my evasion.
[01:36:23] Speaker B: Okay. So you're gonna take half?
[01:36:25] Speaker D: Yeah.
I have a question.
I have inspiration from the last time we played. May I use it? It's on my sheet.
[01:36:35] Speaker B: Oh. Tinsel specifically had it from.
[01:36:36] Speaker D: Yeah, that's What? I mean, Tinsel had it. Yeah.
[01:36:38] Speaker B: I thought you were just talking about. Oh, character you have.
[01:36:40] Speaker D: I mean, Tinsel had it on her sheet. Okay.
[01:36:44] Speaker B: Also, you still have the take half cold damage, right?
[01:36:48] Speaker D: No, that was only for the cold fireball dragon.
[01:36:52] Speaker B: You said you used it three times a day.
[01:36:54] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, I do have that. Okay. 11.
[01:36:56] Speaker B: You know, I'm just saying, Daniel, how.
[01:36:57] Speaker C: Do you feel about me switching out my character sheet for wrong Grim real quick.
[01:37:01] Speaker B: No, no.
Fifteen saves. Cool.
Would you like to use your reaction no.
[01:37:09] Speaker C: To half the damage?
[01:37:10] Speaker B: 1.
[01:37:11] Speaker D: But it's already halved.
So how does it work though?
[01:37:14] Speaker B: Yes or no? No.
[01:37:15] Speaker C: Did you want to say yes? Oh, that's crazy that you did that.
[01:37:17] Speaker B: Wom. Put a quarter it. Here we go. Oh, yeah. Cuz you are resistant to it and then you succeed.
[01:37:23] Speaker D: I understand.
[01:37:24] Speaker B: Yeah, that's okay.
12.
[01:37:29] Speaker C: 16.
[01:37:31] Speaker B: Holy sh.
32 is your full ho.
[01:37:40] Speaker C: So much.
[01:37:40] Speaker D: Half of 32 is 16.
That's so funny because I have 32 hit points.
[01:37:45] Speaker C: Oh, it's good that you saved, man.
[01:37:48] Speaker B: Imagine if you resisted that an ice storm obliterates into that area as she calls down the ice and says, let it coat you for my feast.
[01:37:59] Speaker D: Stop trying to eat us, lady.
[01:38:02] Speaker B: It's really her personality.
[01:38:03] Speaker D: Yeah, I know.
[01:38:06] Speaker B: Let me also look at what I just read.
Oh, yeah.
Now, that area is what we call difficult.
So everything from here to here to like here to like here.
Difficult. Difficult terrain, baby.
That's. Oh, she's gonna move. Because she's not dumb. No, she's not. Down. 5, 10.
[01:38:37] Speaker C: Oh, look at that. Opportunity attack.
[01:38:40] Speaker B: 15. You still have a disadvantage, right? 20.
[01:38:43] Speaker A: Why do I. Oh, because of the rain.
Dice are everywhere.
[01:38:46] Speaker D: Dice are everywhere.
[01:38:47] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:38:47] Speaker C: Oh, you want to keep those on the table.
[01:38:49] Speaker A: Seven.
Seven.
[01:38:54] Speaker B: Hi, Abby.
[01:38:55] Speaker C: You've gotta start rolling higher.
[01:38:56] Speaker B: Seven plus six is 13. Still does not hit my bat. My baddie.
I know, I'm sorry.
That is her turn.
[01:39:06] Speaker C: Cool, cool, cool, cool.
[01:39:07] Speaker B: Top.
[01:39:07] Speaker C: Initiative, stupid.
[01:39:09] Speaker B: Die.
Come on.
[01:39:13] Speaker C: Yeah, do it.
[01:39:21] Speaker B: Great. The storm gathers and rages, but there is no ill effect this time.
[01:39:26] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[01:39:27] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:39:27] Speaker C: Yes. How's my yellow?
[01:39:29] Speaker B: Very good, very good.
Jeffrey.
[01:39:34] Speaker D: Jeffrey.
[01:39:35] Speaker B: No ill effects.
[01:39:37] Speaker A: Yes, she's on.
[01:39:40] Speaker C: Abby just lifted up from below the table.
[01:39:42] Speaker A: Wait, what is that?
[01:39:43] Speaker B: No ill effects.
[01:39:44] Speaker A: My turn is what you mean.
Yes.
[01:39:47] Speaker B: Tinsel, you're up next.
[01:39:49] Speaker A: Okay, I would like to move over to her.
[01:39:51] Speaker B: All right, that's 10, 20, 30, 40.
[01:39:53] Speaker A: We like to. Oh, you don't do flanky.
[01:39:55] Speaker B: I do not do flanky.
[01:39:56] Speaker A: That is all right. But I would like to attack.
[01:39:58] Speaker B: Hold it.
12 does not seem to connect.
[01:40:07] Speaker A: It's 5.
[01:40:08] Speaker B: Does not seem to connect.
[01:40:10] Speaker A: Okay, I.
[01:40:13] Speaker B: How many key points you got left?
[01:40:14] Speaker A: I have three, but I want to save at least some for some to freeze her or something.
[01:40:19] Speaker C: I.
[01:40:20] Speaker B: Okay.
Nothing.
[01:40:23] Speaker C: Do you. This is your character.
[01:40:24] Speaker D: Your turn.
[01:40:27] Speaker A: Okay. Ooh, does a 17 hit?
[01:40:30] Speaker B: Does not seem.
[01:40:31] Speaker C: Ah, sticky poopoo.
[01:40:32] Speaker B: As magical armor pulsates once more.
[01:40:35] Speaker C: Tim, how are we gonna beat this lady?
[01:40:36] Speaker A: Okay, that's another 17.
[01:40:38] Speaker B: 17 does not seem to connect.
So sorry, my friend.
[01:40:42] Speaker C: I don't know if we can roll high enough to get her.
I guess if we crit.
[01:40:45] Speaker B: She's only. No, I mean she's rolling 11s over here, Jeffrey. That is all you do. Tinsel, it is your turn, Rodri. You're on deck.
[01:40:58] Speaker C: You're right, dm.
[01:40:58] Speaker A: I'm just.
[01:40:59] Speaker D: How does it work with the Cloud of Daggers? Because the Cloud of Daggers is still over there, right?
[01:41:02] Speaker B: I think so.
[01:41:03] Speaker D: Can I move it? It doesn't say anything.
[01:41:05] Speaker C: You could annihilate Jeffrey with it.
[01:41:08] Speaker D: Oh, that's true. If I do that.
[01:41:09] Speaker B: Okay, so did you make your con save?
[01:41:13] Speaker D: No, but I think I'm gonna drop it anyway.
[01:41:17] Speaker B: But. Oh, oh.
[01:41:22] Speaker D: 22.
[01:41:22] Speaker B: 22.
[01:41:25] Speaker D: Listen, What kinds of big things has Tinsel seen animal life for?
[01:41:37] Speaker C: Polymorphing.
[01:41:40] Speaker B: You've seen bears.
[01:41:41] Speaker A: Okay, okay. She's seen dragons.
[01:41:46] Speaker B: Yeah. Because it has to be a beast.
[01:41:48] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:41:49] Speaker B: You see some monstrosities.
[01:41:53] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm gonna.
What. What is her name? Tencel is gonna. We're gonna polymorph into a polar bear. Is there a bug?
What's happening?
[01:42:09] Speaker A: Oh, I think it's opening. Are you opening it's crates?
[01:42:12] Speaker D: I thought you were like hitting something and that there was a bug. Like. I don't know.
Yeah.
[01:42:18] Speaker B: Eight or less, right? Yeah.
Yeah.
[01:42:21] Speaker D: I'd like to polymorph into bear, please.
[01:42:25] Speaker B: Would you like me to give you the stat of the polar?
[01:42:27] Speaker D: Yes, please, I have. See, this is the thing is I normally play back there and I have all of my books on a shelf and I only brought two of my books in here and I'm too lazy to go get all my books, so.
Also, that would be ridiculous for me to have all my books too. So.
[01:42:44] Speaker B: Yeah. No one should bring all their books to anything.
[01:42:47] Speaker D: No, I mean, if all of us.
[01:42:48] Speaker B: Had all of our.
[01:42:49] Speaker C: If you bought all your books and you were a ginger, that would be so dumb.
[01:42:53] Speaker B: It's different.
[01:42:54] Speaker D: He's the dm.
[01:42:57] Speaker B: So why would I.
[01:42:57] Speaker D: Just bring all of them in here?
[01:42:59] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:42:59] Speaker B: Tinsel turns into a polar. Bear?
[01:43:01] Speaker D: Heck, yeah.
[01:43:03] Speaker B: Growing fur in places you've never seen fur grow before. Why would you say that?
Still hanging in her hand. Getting as huge as she is. Here's your polar bear stack.
[01:43:12] Speaker D: Thank you so much. I'll take a picture of it so you can have your book back.
[01:43:15] Speaker B: I'm not gonna need a monster manual. You can keep it until again the fight. Okay, cool.
[01:43:21] Speaker D: Yeah. So I do that. And that is your action. That is my action.
[01:43:27] Speaker B: So a lot of hit points now.
[01:43:29] Speaker D: Yeah, that was the.
[01:43:30] Speaker B: That's the dealio.
Big brain plays.
[01:43:34] Speaker D: I think I'm gonna.
[01:43:35] Speaker B: Stay where you are.
[01:43:36] Speaker D: Stay where I am because she's gonna opportunity attack me if I.
[01:43:39] Speaker C: That was. Honestly. That was a good. That was a good round, Jackie.
[01:43:43] Speaker B: Roderick, it is your turn.
[01:43:45] Speaker C: Let's play. Can I do anything?
Do I have an angle onto the odm? Yeah, right.
[01:43:52] Speaker B: You have angle on where you are from behind Jeffrey.
[01:43:55] Speaker C: Am I not shooting directly into him through his legs?
If I miss badly, can I hit him?
Should I move?
[01:44:04] Speaker B: You have to roll a one.
[01:44:07] Speaker C: You don't know me. Do I have any advantage from shooting here?
[01:44:10] Speaker B: Yeah, you have advantage right now.
[01:44:11] Speaker C: Okay?
[01:44:11] Speaker B: Because if you move out of it, you lose your advantage.
[01:44:13] Speaker C: Why do I have advantage?
[01:44:15] Speaker B: You have to attack from the place that you hid to gain the advantage.
[01:44:18] Speaker C: I thought you said being hidden didn't give me advantage.
[01:44:20] Speaker B: Now being hidden does give you advantage. You couldn't hide and respond.
[01:44:24] Speaker C: Oh, that's why.
[01:44:25] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:44:26] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:44:26] Speaker B: Thank you.
[01:44:26] Speaker C: Could you give me a good D20? Let's get this guy. He was lucky.
[01:44:33] Speaker B: Let me do the one thing I do right.
[01:44:36] Speaker C: Oh, that might hit 20. 20.
[01:44:40] Speaker B: 20 hits. Oh, don't look, Bonnie.
[01:44:44] Speaker C: Okay. Okay.
So I sneak attack on this.
[01:44:52] Speaker B: Oh, I rolled. Great.
Okay.
[01:44:55] Speaker C: Maybe we have a chance.
18 plus. Yeah, 18 plus 5 is 23.
Plus 1 is 24. 24 points of piercing damage. I want to shoot her in the butt.
[01:45:08] Speaker B: Dm.
[01:45:09] Speaker C: I want to shoot a bolt into her butt cheek.
[01:45:11] Speaker B: It's terrible because, Jeffrey, you see the bolt come into her butt cheek, and it cracks her skin, and her body goes.
As she howls in pain as she is now a bit chipped.
[01:45:24] Speaker C: A bit chipped.
[01:45:25] Speaker A: Did we have to. Does she have to do she did she already succeeded.
[01:45:29] Speaker B: Yeah. I get out of 20 on my concert.
Keep that wall of ice from anyone helping you.
Great job, Roderick. Would you like to do anything else on your turn? Just so you know, you can't hide in the same place from what you've done because she now knows that you've shot her from There. You could try to find some other place to hide.
[01:45:46] Speaker C: I. I can hide here, right?
[01:45:47] Speaker B: DM at the edge of the building. I said you could hide under the dead body.
Heck, yeah.
[01:45:55] Speaker A: You're like I was. I've already been close enough.
[01:45:58] Speaker C: 20. I'm gonna hide here.
[01:46:00] Speaker B: Roll me about a section.
[01:46:05] Speaker C: Look here, you little butt nugget.
[01:46:07] Speaker B: 9. 9. You do not feel hidden as your gaze fault. Oh, hold on. You have a bar Inspiration.
You don't have to use them.
[01:46:21] Speaker C: I don't know if math is solid. Well, we're desperate. Okay, okay. I don't know if the math works out, but.
Oh, but I will hide.
[01:46:30] Speaker B: What?
[01:46:31] Speaker C: I got a 9.
[01:46:32] Speaker D: 16.
[01:46:32] Speaker B: 16. Oh, you do feel hidden as you go underneath a bit of the blubber. And it, like, starts to move a second, but you, like, grab out your dagger and you stab it into it. It stops the movement as I stick.
[01:46:43] Speaker C: It in the blubber. I just whisper to the frog, I.
[01:46:45] Speaker B: Hate you so much.
[01:46:50] Speaker D: The be her hags turn from the inside out.
[01:46:55] Speaker C: Real life, I love frogs, but I kill the frog.
[01:46:57] Speaker B: Here. For you, baby.
[01:46:58] Speaker C: For you.
I don't like the sound he's making.
Guys, we need to kill this lady.
We're trying.
[01:47:09] Speaker D: We're trying.
[01:47:10] Speaker C: We should try harder.
[01:47:11] Speaker D: Well, I turned into a bear. What did you do?
[01:47:13] Speaker B: That bear is stupid.
I want to feast once more.
[01:47:20] Speaker D: Girl is hungry.
[01:47:22] Speaker B: That was a crib. I got a nap. 20, my friend. This needs to stop.
How are you feeling? You doing good?
[01:47:33] Speaker D: You healed yourself earlier.
[01:47:34] Speaker B: I did. I got hit again.
[01:47:35] Speaker C: Hey, how funny is it gonna be when you're Jeffrey iii?
[01:47:38] Speaker A: How funny is it gonna be when I die.
[01:47:42] Speaker D: In another keyword?
[01:47:44] Speaker C: And he rolled.
[01:47:45] Speaker B: Wow.
[01:47:45] Speaker D: Look at that.
[01:47:46] Speaker C: He rolled.
[01:47:46] Speaker B: Almost Max. Look at that. He rolled.
[01:47:48] Speaker C: Almost Max.
[01:47:49] Speaker D: What is happening today, Daniel?
[01:47:51] Speaker C: This is officially not a Christmas one shot. It might be a Winter ends in this one shot, but it's not a Christmas One shot anymore.
I don't think it has a happy ending. Hey, your fiance should have played 40 points of damage.
[01:48:04] Speaker B: Yeah, 40 points of damage.
[01:48:06] Speaker C: You're down, right?
[01:48:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:48:08] Speaker D: You have death saves, though.
[01:48:09] Speaker A: Yeah. What's the rule that if you take.
[01:48:11] Speaker B: More than your Max, her mouth begins to salivate.
[01:48:16] Speaker D: Oh, girl.
[01:48:16] Speaker B: Looking once more at the creature that just died within her grasp.
[01:48:20] Speaker C: Well, it's unconscious, right?
[01:48:21] Speaker B: He's unconscious.
[01:48:22] Speaker C: She can only do the feasting when she's.
[01:48:24] Speaker B: When he's dead, right, Jeffrey?
Maybe she can make it a bit faster in death.
Jeffrey, would you like. Oh.
Are you okay with one of my rules? One of my rules is that I will your death saves.
[01:48:36] Speaker A: Okay, that works.
[01:48:38] Speaker C: Honestly, I think Abby prefers that.
[01:48:39] Speaker D: Yeah, actually you do it.
[01:48:42] Speaker A: Oh wait. I don't get to know?
[01:48:44] Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no, no.
[01:48:45] Speaker C: Of course not.
[01:48:46] Speaker D: If I'm rolling them, I don't actually like what?
[01:48:49] Speaker B: Oh, I don't.
[01:48:50] Speaker D: That's terrifying.
[01:48:51] Speaker C: I think I might be using that in Campaign two.
[01:48:53] Speaker A: No, I. That sucks so bad.
[01:48:56] Speaker C: Also, I've Learned from Campaign 1 that when I ask you guys if you're okay with rules every single time, you guys don't pick the ones that you're in favor of.
[01:49:01] Speaker B: Of.
[01:49:01] Speaker C: So I think sometimes in campaign two. Oh.
[01:49:03] Speaker B: D4 you4 ha. Roll me in D4.
[01:49:06] Speaker C: Need to do the four again.
[01:49:08] Speaker B: Try.
[01:49:10] Speaker A: Pressure.
[01:49:12] Speaker B: That's.
[01:49:13] Speaker C: Don't want that one, baby.
[01:49:14] Speaker B: Sorry.
That's the worst pressure.
[01:49:18] Speaker C: Daniel, Think of the good Christmas gift you got. He was so good.
You know what they call why did she.
[01:49:27] Speaker B: You can she sc.
[01:49:33] Speaker A: I just wanted four Do I take damage?
[01:49:36] Speaker B: You do.
[01:49:37] Speaker C: He rolled almost max again.
[01:49:39] Speaker B: The thing is, whenever you get hit when you're down, it's just an automatic death field.
Two death fields, right? Or no. That's only melee attacks, isn't it?
[01:49:48] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:49:48] Speaker B: Right.
[01:49:49] Speaker C: You want me to look it up?
[01:49:49] Speaker B: Yes, I would like you to look it up. Cuz it does affect things.
[01:49:53] Speaker A: I failed the first one, didn't I?
[01:49:55] Speaker B: Who knows?
Can I get the two who are still alive to give me death savings?
1616 succeeds.
Guys, we're so what are you adding to a Dex? Oh, as a save on a. Just the decks.
[01:50:14] Speaker D: It's just the decks. Okay.
[01:50:17] Speaker C: What do you think about the realism.
[01:50:19] Speaker B: Of her rolling damage to your bear? 18.
[01:50:22] Speaker C: What do you think about the realism of her rolling? Checks each round for like sudden pulmonary events like heart attacks. Does she have high cholesterol?
[01:50:30] Speaker B: You roll me the.
[01:50:32] Speaker C: I already did.
[01:50:33] Speaker B: No, no, no. But you going to give me the answer?
[01:50:35] Speaker C: Oh, now I'm looking for it.
[01:50:38] Speaker D: Give. Give him the answer. F.
Okay.
[01:50:42] Speaker B: My polar really starting it. It might have been though.
I thought Larry, you get hit when you're down. It's an automatic two deaths fail.
[01:50:49] Speaker C: Okay. Dropping zero hit points. Instant death, massive damage.
[01:50:53] Speaker B: No.
[01:50:55] Speaker C: Falling unconscious. Zero death saving throws. Whenever you start your turn with zero hit points, you just make a death Saving roll.
[01:51:01] Speaker B: A D20.
[01:51:02] Speaker C: Okay. Damage, zero hit points.
[01:51:04] Speaker B: If you take any damage while you.
[01:51:05] Speaker C: Have zero hit points, you suffer a death saving throw failure.
[01:51:07] Speaker B: If the failure.
[01:51:08] Speaker C: If the damage is from a critical hit, you suffer two.
[01:51:10] Speaker B: That's what it is. Yeah.
Blood is oozing out of our friend Jeffrey. But it's not totally dead.
[01:51:19] Speaker C: It is.
[01:51:19] Speaker B: You're using immediately tinsel.
Roger. It's on deck. Tinsel.
[01:51:25] Speaker D: I'm a bear.
[01:51:26] Speaker B: You're a bear.
[01:51:27] Speaker D: I'm gonna multi attack.
[01:51:28] Speaker B: Multi attack.
[01:51:31] Speaker D: One with bite, one with claw.
Okay, that is. Oh, that's bad. Where I add.
[01:51:38] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:51:38] Speaker B: Plus seven.
[01:51:41] Speaker D: So that's a 12.
[01:51:42] Speaker B: 12 does not seem to hit my hag.
[01:51:47] Speaker D: I'm rolling so bad. And a nine.
[01:51:49] Speaker B: Nine does not seem to hit my hag. I'm so sorry.
[01:51:51] Speaker D: It's okay.
Yes.
Fight. And claw doesn't work.
[01:51:57] Speaker B: Does not seem to connect. Roderick, you know what I think we should have done?
[01:52:01] Speaker C: I think we should have come in as level 2012 characters. I think that's what we should have done.
It's my turn.
[01:52:09] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:52:10] Speaker C: I.
As Jeffrey hits the ground in his unconscious, I look at him and I go, oh, wait, I don't think that's the original Jeffrey.
And then I'm gonna roll the hit. Roll the hit on this stupid lady advantage. Right?
[01:52:25] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:52:26] Speaker C: Thank you for letting me borrow this.
Those weren't good.
14.
[01:52:34] Speaker B: 14 does not seem to hit my hat.
[01:52:36] Speaker C: What if I'm really special boy?
[01:52:39] Speaker B: Really special boy will give me a higher low.
[01:52:42] Speaker C: Low. Cause I'm a short guy.
[01:52:44] Speaker B: Low is correct.
[01:52:46] Speaker C: Okay, what is that?
He's deciding right now. He knows we're in desperate help, so he had me roll a higher low. But he doesn't know what it's for yet.
[01:52:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:52:55] Speaker C: Does it make me taller? Does it make me more handsome?
No, cuz I'm too handsome already.
No, I'm making humor cuz I'm scared.
[01:53:05] Speaker B: It is going to be a sadder thing we have here. No, that's it.
Where would you like to go now?
[01:53:14] Speaker C: You're. Can I go back to where I was? Okay.
[01:53:24] Speaker B: Nine. You feel her gaze. I'm crying.
She turns once more, seeing. Actually you got the low. She looks at the delectable corpse that's not yet a corpse. And she says, soon you will be one with me.
As she looks at the the bear and she says, you.
We dance.
[01:54:01] Speaker D: The bear said, no, I'm just kidding.
[01:54:05] Speaker B: Very bad roll. What's your AC?
[01:54:07] Speaker D: Oh, it's a bear.
[01:54:10] Speaker B: 12. 9 does not seem to hit. This is such a cool die with the thing. I've been forgetting this whole time. She does have an extra attack action for she is within haste of the sapphire butterfly.
[01:54:24] Speaker C: I should have grabbed the butterfly.
I should have eaten the butterfly.
[01:54:29] Speaker B: I got 23 to hit you.
[01:54:30] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:54:32] Speaker C: Guys, I made the wrong choice.
[01:54:33] Speaker D: I guess I can't use Nimble escape as a bear.
[01:54:37] Speaker C: Sure.
[01:54:38] Speaker D: Get savvy.
[01:54:43] Speaker B: She.
[01:54:43] Speaker C: I do tons of your high roll. Stop rolling high.
[01:54:50] Speaker B: Okay. You're still a bear.
[01:54:51] Speaker D: I'm still a bear.
[01:54:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. 17 points of damage.
[01:54:55] Speaker D: I'm a very bloodied bear, but I.
[01:54:57] Speaker B: Her turn.
Who would like to roll my effect?
[01:55:00] Speaker C: Do we need to keep doing that?
[01:55:01] Speaker A: Alpha.
[01:55:02] Speaker B: Alpha.
[01:55:02] Speaker D: Do you want to roll it if.
[01:55:04] Speaker B: You get a 4, 3 or 2? 2. 3 or 4 is good. Oh.
[01:55:09] Speaker D: 2. 3 or 4 is good.
[01:55:13] Speaker C: My wife is so hot.
[01:55:14] Speaker B: Jeffrey, it's your death save. Once more.
[01:55:20] Speaker C: You have to be the one to roll that.
[01:55:21] Speaker B: Every time. Only you.
Your heart pounds still.
[01:55:26] Speaker A: My heart pounds still.
[01:55:28] Speaker B: No, no, no, no. Oh.
[01:55:30] Speaker D: Oh.
[01:55:30] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:55:30] Speaker B: I just brought words. There. There we go. Tinsel.
[01:55:36] Speaker D: Multi attack.
[01:55:38] Speaker B: Okay.
Ooh.
[01:55:41] Speaker D: Okay.
That is a 21.
[01:55:44] Speaker B: 21 hits.
[01:55:45] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:55:45] Speaker B: I feel like the dice tower is helping.
[01:55:47] Speaker D: So that is gonna be. How do I do this?
[01:55:51] Speaker B: It's gonna be me.
[01:55:53] Speaker D: What does this mean? Hit.
[01:55:54] Speaker C: Hit nine.
[01:55:55] Speaker B: A plus nine to hit.
[01:55:57] Speaker D: No, plus seven.
[01:55:58] Speaker B: Oh. Because it's the average of the. Oh.
[01:56:00] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:56:00] Speaker D: So I do one D8 plus five piercing damage.
[01:56:03] Speaker B: Yep. Yeah.
Or nine on average.
[01:56:08] Speaker D: Getcha.
Oh, I rolled an eight.
[01:56:12] Speaker B: Nice.
Five.
[01:56:14] Speaker D: A five.
[01:56:15] Speaker B: Thirteen. Cool.
[01:56:16] Speaker D: And then I'm gonna bite her. Or claw her. That was a bite. And now I'm gonna claw her.
Oh, that's a 10.
[01:56:25] Speaker C: She fails. She fails.
[01:56:27] Speaker B: Her wall of ice crumbles under the pressure, no longer shielding you from those who wish to help you. As you see, three amigos. Little.
Actually, no. One little gnome.
[01:56:47] Speaker C: Oh, good, good. Best possible scenario. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:56:51] Speaker B: Unicorn flapping from his hat, wishing help once more.
[01:56:55] Speaker C: Let me represent him with this one.
[01:56:56] Speaker B: Sure.
[01:56:58] Speaker A: It does seem more.
[01:57:00] Speaker B: Okay. His is going to be at the end of the round.
[01:57:04] Speaker C: That's really good.
[01:57:08] Speaker B: Bear soul is done. Yeah.
[01:57:10] Speaker D: The claws miss. And I don't.
[01:57:12] Speaker B: Bite down on her frosty flesh. Tasting it with your tongue. Ooh, despicable.
[01:57:18] Speaker D: Yeah. That's what I would say if I.
[01:57:20] Speaker B: Could almost throw up.
[01:57:22] Speaker C: Roderick, I'm not hidden.
[01:57:24] Speaker B: You're not hidden. You have two allies next to your person or one ally next to your person.
[01:57:28] Speaker C: But I get sneak attacks, so.
[01:57:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:57:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:57:29] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:57:31] Speaker C: Come on.
[01:57:34] Speaker B: Roll me. D6. SEC.
[01:57:37] Speaker D: Roll six.
That's like a.
[01:57:41] Speaker B: That's like a one.
[01:57:42] Speaker D: That's like a normal dice.
[01:57:44] Speaker B: Like, that's just. As your bow strains ever so slightly on your next attacks. Next damage roll, you'll have negative 1D4.
[01:57:51] Speaker C: On the damage if I say with the bow.
[01:57:55] Speaker B: If you stay with the bow, I.
[01:57:58] Speaker C: Just Curse under my breath. I'm very serious.
[01:58:02] Speaker B: Would you like to try to hide in some other different spots?
[01:58:05] Speaker C: I go back to the band room looking like Bugs Bunny.
[01:58:13] Speaker B: Talk about doesn't seem the. The gay still hits you.
She looks back at the bear, looks down at the thing that should have been dead, but not dead yet.
[01:58:22] Speaker A: I'm living.
[01:58:23] Speaker B: Highs are lot lows, my friend.
[01:58:25] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:58:25] Speaker A: Okay. Highs. Okay.
[01:58:28] Speaker B: That'S a two. Oh, that's. We didn't know.
He's grabs her staff and she says, let me. Let me.
[01:58:38] Speaker C: Peace.
[01:58:39] Speaker A: Oh, and she can make me fail by hitting you. Oh, by hitting me.
[01:58:46] Speaker B: You're prone.
[01:58:47] Speaker C: He has advantage.
Dm, dm. Dm. Dm. Dm.
Do you want me to bring up a teacher homework moment or do you want me to shut up?
[01:58:59] Speaker B: A teacher homework moment. Sure.
[01:59:00] Speaker C: Teacher.
[01:59:01] Speaker B: You forgot our homework.
[01:59:02] Speaker C: Okay.
Technically, since he's incapacitated, it's an auto crit.
[01:59:07] Speaker B: Yeah, Yeah. I mean, it is.
[01:59:09] Speaker D: He's like.
[01:59:10] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:59:14] Speaker B: She grabs her staff once more, raises it in the air and brings it down on the skull of Jeffrey as it.
Oh, makes your last death save fail. Oh, man.
[01:59:30] Speaker A: She.
[01:59:30] Speaker B: Then, in a madness that only brings about from terrible winters, surviving on the flesh of those who no longer live, she begins to feast.
[01:59:44] Speaker D: Can I take an opportunity attack? Since she's moving around biting things.
[01:59:48] Speaker B: Each creature within 60ft of her that can see the terribleness that is accompanying her.
[01:59:53] Speaker C: God, about this.
[01:59:54] Speaker B: Needs to make a DC15 wisdom saving throw.
Come on, half.
[02:00:02] Speaker C: Roll it.
[02:00:03] Speaker B: Roll it. Good. Roll it. Good.
Nine.
Sorry.
[02:00:09] Speaker D: Baby was a nine.
[02:00:12] Speaker B: I got 15.
[02:00:12] Speaker D: I got a four.
[02:00:14] Speaker B: Four.
[02:00:16] Speaker D: Maybe the bear doesn't. The bear is like. The bear is like. Doesn't have a problem.
[02:00:20] Speaker B: A creature is incapacitated with. Eaten, can't understand what others say, can't read, and speaks only in gibberish.
The DM controls the creature's movement, which is erratic. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on its success as you become maddened yourself from the terribleness of what you just witnessed.
[02:00:43] Speaker D: Do I need to make a concept? Because I'm concentrating on polymorph.
But I'm a bear. How does that work?
[02:00:51] Speaker B: You're incapacitated, which does make it to where you fall out of bear form without a save.
No longer concentrating, foaming at the mouth that is around you.
She LAUGHS maniacally.
A cleric comes into the scene with nature on his side, bellowing a scream of no sheesh. Which is the one to save.
He comes up to you and casts Lesser restoration on you, ending the effect of the maddeningness that is coming.
[02:01:32] Speaker C: That's good.
[02:01:32] Speaker B: Thanks.
[02:01:33] Speaker C: That's good. That's good. That is a good thing.
[02:01:35] Speaker B: He looks at you and says, I'm coming.
And we go to no longer Jeffrey. I'm so sorry. But, Jeffrey, you get to roll a D4.
[02:01:51] Speaker A: 2.
[02:01:51] Speaker B: 2. You haven't had.
Ice freezes. Your bones make a con. Save.
[02:02:04] Speaker C: Seventeen.
[02:02:05] Speaker B: Seventeen succeeds.
[02:02:06] Speaker D: Nineteen.
[02:02:07] Speaker B: Nineteen succeeds.
Even in your gibberish state, you kind of fortify yourself from the freeze that comes upon you.
[02:02:15] Speaker C: I'm gonna do a little pissing, so.
[02:02:16] Speaker D: I can't do anything.
[02:02:18] Speaker B: Is that the start of it? Yeah, I'm.
[02:02:19] Speaker D: I'm here. It's my turn. Yeah, so.
[02:02:22] Speaker B: So you make a end of each of its turn. So at the end of your turn. Oh, I gotta make you make her move erratically first. Right.
Right now.
[02:02:36] Speaker C: Are you serious? Does this feel like the time?
[02:02:40] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15.
As you move away.
She does not hit you, though, as I don't think you are controlling that. So here we are. End of your turn. Make me a save of wisdoms.
Bother.
Oh, bother. Mother.
[02:03:04] Speaker D: That's an eight.
[02:03:05] Speaker B: Eight does not seem to succeed. You still gibbering at the mouth, Roderick?
[02:03:16] Speaker C: I'm not hidden.
[02:03:17] Speaker A: Right.
[02:03:18] Speaker C: And I don't have sneak attack.
25.
[02:03:48] Speaker B: Roll me a D6. My friend.
Is terrible.
Can I get that damage from the D6? 5.
No.
[02:04:11] Speaker C: You're gonna roll it again. Yeah.
[02:04:16] Speaker B: Okay. 5.
An arrow stabs into your heart. Just a wee bit into my heart.
[02:04:24] Speaker C: I missed her.
[02:04:25] Speaker B: Whoa. Oh.
[02:04:26] Speaker C: ODM. I threw a dagger.
[02:04:31] Speaker B: You roll a D4 then.
[02:04:32] Speaker C: Yes. Okay.
[02:04:33] Speaker B: Sorry, but I didn't specify.
[02:04:35] Speaker C: And that's on me. Sorry. I didn't use my bow because that's why I got in range.
[02:04:39] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Three points of damage.
[02:04:43] Speaker C: So I missed so hard that I threw it over here. Yeah.
[02:04:46] Speaker B: Instead of going for her, you do and you fling it almost straight at her. Three points of damage. Ooh, maybe a wisdom sa.
That is a 1919 with more damage penetrating into your heart. Gibbering stops. Your body feels live once more. You pull out the dagger as you see Jeffrey's mangled corpse.
[02:05:14] Speaker C: I from across the way. I look at tinsel and I just go, tinsel, I can't lose you. You gotta make it.
[02:05:23] Speaker D: You too, Roddy.
[02:05:24] Speaker B: Eyes are loose.
3.
[02:05:27] Speaker D: Two highs.
[02:05:30] Speaker B: You may spend a reaction right now to cast a cantrip.
[02:05:36] Speaker D: What can do I foil at the.
[02:05:38] Speaker C: End of my turn? Can I say something?
[02:05:39] Speaker B: Sure, sure, sure, sure.
[02:05:40] Speaker C: I'll wait. I'll wait.
[02:05:41] Speaker A: I'LL wait.
[02:05:45] Speaker D: I don't can you. I don't know which can trips you got. Can you use mage hand to cast cure wounds?
[02:05:54] Speaker B: No.
[02:05:54] Speaker D: No. I didn't think so.
I have mage hand, minor illusion and dancing.
[02:06:02] Speaker B: Wait, you at level eight, you only have three spells. Three cantrips. That's crazy.
[02:06:09] Speaker D: I think I want to make sure that.
[02:06:13] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:06:16] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:06:16] Speaker B: It's afterwards.
[02:06:18] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:06:19] Speaker A: Three.
[02:06:19] Speaker B: Damn.
[02:06:20] Speaker D: I don't get four until 10th level.
[02:06:24] Speaker B: How cool is that? Minor illusion.
Give me. Give me some. Give me. Give me a description that can maybe do something. What.
[02:06:32] Speaker D: How big of. How big is minor illusion?
[02:06:34] Speaker B: It's like a five foot square. Yeah.
[02:06:39] Speaker D: I.
[02:06:41] Speaker A: I.
[02:06:44] Speaker D: Cast minor illusion next to me and it does. Is it auditory or anything?
[02:06:50] Speaker B: I think it's just.
[02:06:51] Speaker C: Just a visual.
[02:06:52] Speaker D: Just a visual.
[02:06:55] Speaker C: Also, not to be a bummer, not to take too long. I think Hoffa needs to go Betty by.
[02:07:00] Speaker B: Okay. Just.
[02:07:00] Speaker C: If we could be moving things.
[02:07:01] Speaker D: Yeah, it's.
Oh, I. I think I might confuse her or something. Yeah.
[02:07:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:07:08] Speaker D: I cast minor illusion and I make it look exactly like the butterfly and it starts flying around here.
[02:07:17] Speaker B: A arcana. Check and add a plus two to it.
[02:07:23] Speaker D: Okay. Arcana 17.
[02:07:29] Speaker B: You see her eyes go big. She looks at her chest and sees the butterfly. And in a panic on her turn. After you say something.
[02:07:37] Speaker C: Yeah. All I'm gonna shout is tensil.
If this gets any worse, leave.
That's what I say.
[02:07:47] Speaker B: In a flurry of panic, she runs towards the butterfly, using her whole action to grasp it once more and try to morph it into itself. That is the illusion. So effective that she's like, Your flesh will taste better. More.
As she uses her second attack action from the haste that she has.
[02:08:11] Speaker C: He rolled bad. He rolled bad. It can happen. He can roll bad.
[02:08:14] Speaker B: I do not hit with like a 6 or an 8. Anyway, she tries a. She wants more. Eyes flaring crazily.
Our friend who's a healer.
Where is it? Where are my D4s? There they are.
No healing word.
That's a high level.
[02:08:39] Speaker D: That is a high level healing order.
[02:08:40] Speaker B: He was like a level eight.
[02:08:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:08:43] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:08:44] Speaker B: You have a fifth level spell slot.
[02:08:45] Speaker C: That's true.
[02:08:45] Speaker B: Right?
Six, eight. 10 plus 2 12.
[02:08:51] Speaker D: Okay.
[02:08:52] Speaker B: All points of healing to our friend over there.
Tinsel, it is your turn.
[02:08:56] Speaker D: Yes.
[02:08:57] Speaker B: Rodrick. Oh, hold on.
[02:09:01] Speaker A: Oh, yes.
[02:09:02] Speaker D: Oh, my level.
[02:09:02] Speaker C: Oh, we were six level.
[02:09:03] Speaker B: Damn. Okay.
Four.
[02:09:06] Speaker C: No effect.
[02:09:07] Speaker B: Tinsel.
Roderick.
[02:09:10] Speaker D: Okay, she's right there.
[02:09:12] Speaker B: Right here.
Works out looking great.
[02:09:16] Speaker D: Can I use Cloud of Daggers without it hurting me there?
[02:09:18] Speaker B: One million percent.
[02:09:19] Speaker D: Okay, I'm going To cast cloud of daggers, third level.
So that's going to be all of these same amount.
[02:09:32] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:09:33] Speaker C: Oh, those are some high rolls.
[02:09:34] Speaker B: Yeah, they.
[02:09:39] Speaker C: Jackie, you rolled really well.
[02:09:46] Speaker B: You rolled almost four.
[02:09:49] Speaker C: That is a lot of damage.
[02:09:52] Speaker B: The daggers and the. Can I make them candy canes this time? Yeah, candy canes.
Sharpened points as they stab into her flesh in different areas and just they go up and down her spine as she screams of blood hurdling screen with 24 damage. She is looking terrible.
[02:10:11] Speaker D: And am I?
Should I nimble escape from where?
[02:10:15] Speaker B: She screams in bloody murder and she says no, no, it is mine. It is mine.
You nimble escape.
No, I would probably be best cuz he needs a sneak attack.
[02:10:27] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm going to stay there.
[02:10:29] Speaker C: Okay. Don't have advantage, but do have.
Can I try to hide?
[02:10:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:10:34] Speaker C: Okay.
So here.
[02:10:37] Speaker B: You probably have to be here. Okay. But it sounds great. It's a large dead body. Very large.
[02:10:43] Speaker C: I don't have it.
[02:10:43] Speaker B: You have advantage. Oh, oh. Stealth check.
[02:10:46] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't get it.
[02:10:47] Speaker B: You have advantage cuz she's screaming in pain.
[02:10:49] Speaker C: Excellent.
[02:10:52] Speaker B: 15. 15 seems to evade her. Perceptive. Phenomenal.
[02:10:56] Speaker C: Phenomenal.
21.
[02:11:04] Speaker B: 21.
[02:11:05] Speaker C: Okay.
46.
[02:11:08] Speaker B: Right.
[02:11:09] Speaker C: I'm trembling.
[02:11:18] Speaker B: 12.
[02:11:18] Speaker C: 12 points of piercing damage.
[02:11:21] Speaker B: Robert, how would you like sticky?
[02:11:25] Speaker D: Boo.
[02:11:25] Speaker B: Boo.
[02:11:29] Speaker C: I for the desperation has pushed me for one of the first times in my life to not fight for my own vanity, to not fight for my sense of self. But I'm actually fighting for something for someone. And so for my friend, I load the shot and I just. Instead of like spouting a witty phrase or saying something confident, I just slow and I box my breathing and I draw the arrow and I focus and I let go with my fingers and I let it surprise me when I shoot and I aim right at her head. Right at her head for where she killed Jeffrey.
[02:11:57] Speaker B: Oh yeah. As the arrow flies through it, screaming in pain from the candy cane daggers that are around her, she looks one last glance in your direction. She screams no. As the arrow flies and her head decapitates from her body. The ice skull files to the ground, breaking in a million pieces. The body trembles, stretches one more. You see the inside of it. Your friend, almost, almost digested, falls to the ground in pieces, shatters into a million pieces. With the sapphire butterfly slowly jittering out of the dead corpse.
[02:12:37] Speaker D: I try and I like reach down.
[02:12:40] Speaker B: And as you cradle, you feel the immense power of sylvan magic within this creature.
It heightens your senses. It brings a barrier with it. Even at the touch of it just right now you feel its magic helping you as it although flirts at death, it.
Sad and lowly. The rest of the town finally seeing getting into safe places, comes over and sees the destruction that was going to be part of the happiness.
They see two of the three heroes still alive with a corpse dead.
A group of fire genasis come over, grab the corpse, start carrying it to its final resting place.
The air genasis come over with bandages. Or they are not just magical people.
[02:13:40] Speaker C: I wave them off.
[02:13:42] Speaker B: With enough respect, they bow away. But they go to tinsel. They bring you bandages.
The cleric next to you.
[02:13:51] Speaker C: I let him heal me, but.
[02:13:52] Speaker B: And he heals you just a wee bit. And he knows that that is coming here. More fire genasis and earth genasis come over to do something without this huge corpse here. As people cry seeing some of their family dead, but knowing that once more they are saved by heroes, even if one of them has fallen.
A somber moment happens without the day. And throughout the week, instead of a joyous and festive occasion for a few days, there's a.
A morning that happens with each of them.
If you want to do any final moments of roleplay, this is the time. But otherwise, you have finished your one shot.
[02:14:36] Speaker C: I think the only thing I would do that same day is take a another look at tinsel, see that she's okay.
I'm not gonna look where Jeffrey was.
I'm just gonna.
I'm sure I'll pick it up later, but I just dropped my bow on the ground for where it is, and I just walk over and I just sit down at the edge of the lake where everything started for us.
And I just try not to think about anything. And I just stare at the frozen lake.
[02:15:03] Speaker D: I go sit with him. Once I see that he's done that, I would. I know, like, can I put the butter like the butterfly? Can I put. Can I put it in like a pouch or. Or something to hold on to it until we can get it back to.
[02:15:21] Speaker C: Sure.
[02:15:22] Speaker B: When you put it without your grasp on it, it's no longer truly touching a part of you. You feel lethargic. Your whole being slumps for just a second, for a turn.
You feel exhausted, more than you've ever had. And as the 6 seconds fleet by, your energy comes back up to how much ever energy you felt at the end of the fight, but not more.
As you sit there, ice is broken where she emerged.
Hopefully, this is the last atrocity that Atrice sees in its lifetime.
But throughout the week, although sadness is still part of it. And mourning happens.
Builders renew their effort and they put two Jeffries this time in their sculpture.
[02:16:22] Speaker D: Two Jeffries.
[02:16:27] Speaker B: Cousin Kare makes sure to remind them that he has something dangling from his hip.
As you do see a play that reminds you of goodness, of the good that you do, even with the pain of hurt and loss that you've seen.
How many people celebrate you and have given you your accolades.
Still a bit of hollow sadness from the person you lost.
As we end Babochka search with that.
[02:17:08] Speaker C: Well, listener, that is the end of our one shot. Merry Christmas.
[02:17:12] Speaker B: Merry Christmas.
[02:17:15] Speaker C: I the goofiest of sessions with the three amigos, of course.
And not to make too much out of this stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid game with these characters, but you know, this is.
Life's an incredible adventure. And this is how it is sometimes as well.
So again, maybe, maybe this is pretentious.
[02:17:40] Speaker B: But.
[02:17:43] Speaker C: You know, the holidays are not always merry for us. And for those of you listening who are not having a good Christmas at.
[02:17:51] Speaker B: All.
[02:17:54] Speaker C: Life'S still an incredible adventure. And you're still a very important part of it. Even when there's loss, even when the things that should be good or not.
So we thank you for listening.
And if it was fun, then I hope it was fun.
But we look forward to seeing you next time. And we strangers with whom you have a parasocial relationship, some of us have.
[02:18:20] Speaker A: Actual relationships with you, some of us.
[02:18:22] Speaker C: A couple, but mainly those of you with a parasocial relationship, we're still in it with you and it's still an incredible adventure.
And.
[02:18:34] Speaker B: Go hug a loved one.
[02:18:35] Speaker C: Yeah, hug a loved one. And I hope you keep looking for the things that make the adventure beautiful and meaningful with or without validated expectations. With her, you know, when things are okay and when they're not.
We appreciate you listening. We'll see you next time.
[02:18:52] Speaker D: For you guys to be in our lives, even if it is just listening.
[02:18:57] Speaker B: To this to share the story.
[02:18:59] Speaker C: To share the story.
[02:19:00] Speaker D: And you guys are all in our hearts this Christmas and holiday season.
[02:19:04] Speaker C: Yeah, we hope you keep making stories even when it's really, really hard to see what the beauty is.
Life's still an incredible adventure. Are still an important part of it.
Skibidi W or Merry Christmas. What do you guys think?
[02:19:20] Speaker B: Both. Merry Christmas, Skitty Wonder.
