[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello. With a somber what's up from the barely d and d gang? We are here. Oh, sorry. Yeah, I'm just trampling over this. Go on, Micah, say your piece. [00:00:11] Speaker B: Oh, sorry. I was just saying hello to all of those who are listening and thank you for being here. And continue. [00:00:18] Speaker A: Landon and Jackie. Special guest, Jackie Butler. [00:00:22] Speaker C: That's me, a Mario. [00:00:27] Speaker A: We had some problems and lost the last two episodes. We were doing a patron special a while back and lost part of Micah's audio, and we decided at that point to try a new setup to record stuff with and ran into another boo boo and we lost two episodes. Sadly. Very sad. Most of it was some shopping stuff that was happening in Port Splendid Saint, but there were some pretty sicko moments in there. An appearance of a villain from long ages past and some reminiscence of when it was a simpler time. So we are going to, instead of releasing full episodes for this week and next, we're just going to do these summaries to kind of like, give you the key pieces of information. And me and Zach are throwing around the idea of recreating some of the more lore important moments for patrons. So if you're a patron, be excited for that and I will touch on which moment that is as we get to there. But I just also want to do a quick shout out for my co hosts, Micah and jackie. I sent them a message like 30 hours ago saying, help me, please. [00:01:33] Speaker B: Everything's on fire. [00:01:35] Speaker A: And nobody responded for a day. Thanks for that. Nobody. [00:01:40] Speaker B: Sorry, you guys, but they all showed. [00:01:43] Speaker A: Up right after lunchtime today saying, we are here and we are going to do it. We are ready. [00:01:49] Speaker C: I'm just going to say I normally respond to discord. You literally messaged that yesterday while I was on the phone for like 2 hours with the dell Ir's service, like support. Customer support, because I was working on my computer. [00:02:09] Speaker A: No, I really thankful that Micah and Jackie could be here. And Zach wishes he could be here. I spoke with him on the phone today and he was helping me remember some lore stuff too. So shout out to you, Zach. [00:02:19] Speaker C: And I think he just sent us a summary. [00:02:21] Speaker A: Oh, he did? [00:02:22] Speaker C: To discord. Yeah. [00:02:23] Speaker A: Oh, awesome breaking news. We're gonna check that. Oh, we said as an actual word. What a man. [00:02:29] Speaker B: I can't open it. It wants me to open it in indeed jobs, the app. Indeed jobs. [00:02:35] Speaker C: That's hilarious. [00:02:37] Speaker B: It's the only option it gives me is to open this word document and indeed jobs. [00:02:42] Speaker A: Micah, I don't know how to tell you this, but you can't download indeed jobs on your computer. You have a virus. [00:02:47] Speaker C: Zach actually sent us his resume. [00:02:54] Speaker B: He goes, lost the files. Mmm. Unacceptable, bro. I want to look at this, but I literally. [00:03:04] Speaker A: I'll probably reference it and pause a little bit, you guys, to look at this. Zachary sent a legit, like, formalized document, like, apa style to us with citations and DM notes. So I know that he's really busy with a new job as well. So just thank you, Zachary, so much for taking the time to sit down and write this out. It means a whole lot. [00:03:23] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:03:24] Speaker A: But the first episode that will sadly be missed is episode 108, and it would have been named Warmer Hearts. And in this episode, it opens up with me actually going back to Ergberg's, the component shop that the gang visited when I went to sleep the other night. And I bought a dragon egg inlaid silver chalice, because there was a homebrew spell that Zack made that I wanted to use a chalice for. So that was fun. [00:03:54] Speaker C: And I'd like to let it be known that Ro wanted to know what the spell was, and Jackie wanted to know what the spell was. And I rolled a 32, I think. [00:04:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:03] Speaker C: And knew what the spell was. [00:04:06] Speaker A: It was like a super secret spell for my super secret Druid journal diary. [00:04:10] Speaker C: Apparently, Ro was snooping through his. His journal is basically what? [00:04:14] Speaker A: To be fair, you only got it because I cast guidance on you so that I could. [00:04:20] Speaker C: So that I could know it. [00:04:22] Speaker A: Yeah, you actually needed one. You needed a plus one. [00:04:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I did. [00:04:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I did. [00:04:26] Speaker A: So I felt bad. That was. That was a sympathy guidance. But one thing Zach wanted to know is that the eggshell chalice came from fragments of Zaraxis's broken shell, which Telloj had sold so kind of circle there. I don't remember who Zaraxis is. [00:04:49] Speaker C: Do you know remember who that is? [00:04:51] Speaker A: No. [00:04:52] Speaker C: You guys, it's our dragon. [00:04:55] Speaker B: Oh, that's what I thought. [00:04:57] Speaker A: Is that the dragon? [00:05:00] Speaker C: And then we had to take care of him. [00:05:05] Speaker A: I heard that. I was like, cool, Zaraxis. I was like, that sounds like a dope guy. [00:05:10] Speaker B: I remember going, I bet that's what he's talking about right now. [00:05:14] Speaker C: No, I knew right away. I was like, oh, our little dragon. Ravina and Tallow J's and what's. What's his name? What's his name? Abby's character? [00:05:31] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:05:32] Speaker B: But this is a real. [00:05:33] Speaker C: Nope, he's a real chad. [00:05:35] Speaker A: He likes tea, maybe. I don't know. [00:05:36] Speaker C: And you're Pixie. [00:05:39] Speaker B: We're not only things coming to mind. [00:05:41] Speaker A: We'Re gonna spin on it for a while. [00:05:42] Speaker B: Okay, go ahead. We can move forward. [00:05:48] Speaker A: Uh, so we get that chalice with the eggshell. And I don't know if you remember this, maybe a deep cut, but the first time we were in Port Splinter, I think we all got a little bit impatient of just walking streets, and so we're. Zachary, like, you start walking there, it's gonna be a couple miles. And we're like, oh, we race. We race. And, uh, I don't want to brag, but I wondez and I pooped on Craig's head. [00:06:11] Speaker B: He did. [00:06:12] Speaker A: As a bird. Yeah, we decided we're gonna race again to the warm hearth. Yeah, that was episode three. So 105 episodes ago, boz pooped on Craig's head. So we decided to replay that, you know, round two. And how did that go, Micah? [00:06:28] Speaker B: Well, you see, he felt it in his bones to just start running. And this time, the thing that was pushing Craig along was vengeance. So we all started racing, and I forget, like, how it was, but I know that Abby was on Tello's back. [00:06:48] Speaker A: And they were racing, but Abby wasn't in this episode. She had. She was actually visiting my sister. [00:06:55] Speaker B: Yeah, what the heck? Abby? [00:06:56] Speaker A: Yeah, what the heck? [00:06:57] Speaker B: Why didn't you take me along? [00:06:58] Speaker A: Why couldn't you take me along? [00:06:59] Speaker B: You know, I was 20 minutes away. [00:07:01] Speaker A: I was 20 hours away. [00:07:02] Speaker B: I had, like, a month's notice. Could have gone a plane ticket. [00:07:05] Speaker A: I had a notice. I could not have gotten a plane ticket. [00:07:07] Speaker B: It. But, yeah, so we were, like, racing and running, and I won. We got to the warm hearth. Like, I got there first, and I thought that was, like. I thought y'all were, like, a little bit behind me, apparently not booking it. [00:07:25] Speaker A: He was literally, like, hitting his. I tried some magic nonsense to, like, trip him, and he, like, leapt over it, like, olympic style. [00:07:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, I completely did. So great. Let me know if you can hear any background noises, because I hear Tilly. [00:07:44] Speaker C: A little bit, but it's okay. [00:07:47] Speaker B: That's what it's. She misses me, but I know she'll just throw her bone around. Okay. [00:07:53] Speaker A: You need to step away, Mike. [00:07:54] Speaker B: Yeah, I do. I'll be right back. [00:07:55] Speaker A: All right. [00:07:56] Speaker C: All right. All right. [00:07:56] Speaker A: Have fun. [00:07:58] Speaker C: Oh, I was gonna say Craig came in first. Surprisingly, the non favored athlete to come in second was Ro. [00:08:13] Speaker A: Don't you have a negative strength score? [00:08:15] Speaker C: Yeah, negative two. [00:08:16] Speaker A: You came in second, and I came in second. [00:08:19] Speaker C: But I rolled really high on my endurance, and so I made it to the warm hearth as well. And that was really. It was cool for my character, even though we don't know, I'm just. I'm feeling time. Well. Well, Mike. But it was really cool for my character, because even though we hadn't seen Ro in the warm hearth when we were creating ro and everything, and when the party met ro, she had been in portless Millison for a year, so the warm hearth was very much one of her, like, stomping grounds. So to open up those doors, she felt really. It was kind of like opening up doors to back home. Home for a. For a hot second. She was down for some honey bread and some. Some. Some good times. [00:09:08] Speaker A: So Craig gets there first way before everybody else. [00:09:12] Speaker B: Can I. Can I please touch on some? Because here's the deal. I thought y'all were, like, like, just seconds behind me. I thought it was gonna be this thing where, like, craig opens the doors and then, like, 2 seconds of goodbye, and y'all come through. But so I was planning a joke around that. The joke being that I sit down with a bunch of strangers, and I have, like, one of their ales in front of me, and then y'all walk in, and it looks like I've been there for a while. And then I was planning on just turning to my right and going, oh, you're not boss. And then getting up and walking away. No, no. Zach informs me that it's minutes. It is. Yeah, it is. Minutes before the others show up. And I was not prepared for that. So I sit down at this table and realize that I have to sit with my consequences, you know? [00:10:07] Speaker A: What the heck? The consequences being a new group of adventurers named the web makers, and they happen to recognize Craig sitting at the table and knew that he was a fun guy. So, Craig, what was that like as you break one of our mom's glasses? [00:10:30] Speaker B: We're not gonna talk about that. Sorry, mom. So it was really awesome to, like. I don't know. I love how Zach paints pictures because sometimes he doesn't let you know that it's a safe moment. [00:10:46] Speaker A: You know, he never says if it's a safe moment. [00:10:48] Speaker B: Exactly. So I'm sitting there like, okay, my talking to bounty hunters. Like, am I gonna get arrested? Like, what did I just. [00:10:56] Speaker C: Yeah. I was like, these are bounty hunters about to, like, take down a Craig or try to. [00:11:01] Speaker A: I know. [00:11:02] Speaker B: I was like, this is not what I was expecting. And then for it to be, like, a warm welcoming of, like, people who know the story and, like, are inspired and, like, see the fun guys as, like, an inspiration. [00:11:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:18] Speaker B: It was really amazing to, like, see that play out. Although Craig nervously was spilling a lot of secrets. [00:11:25] Speaker A: Yeah. Craig was like, hey, guys, I know you like me and impress with me, by the way. There's a God above all other gods, and he created the world, and his name is the maker. I died. I had broken legs in a dream, and then he brought me back to life. Yeah, there's roe, by the way. That's basically how that went. [00:11:48] Speaker B: I definitely, Micah was like, me, the player was, like, definitely trying to play into the typical, like, do you know of our Lord and Christ? Like, lord and savior Jesus Christ, you know, that kind of thing. And then I realized, oh, no. Like, this is okay. I feel like I kept digging the whole the. Instead of getting myself out of it, but it turned out okay. [00:12:14] Speaker C: Um, I have just so, so in case these wonderful, this wonderful little party ever shows back up in our. In our story, they were a lizard folk. A tabaxi, a siamese tabaxi, actually. A red scaled armor. They. A dragonborn. A red dragonborn that was wearing red scaled armor and a three quarterling woman. Which three quarterling woman is a halfling? And something else. It's a Zach. It's a homebrew race that Zach made. And their names were Evelyn, Grax, angel, and Colosta, I believe. So. That's a fun little tidbit there of our webmakers. [00:13:01] Speaker A: Yeah. It was a three quarterling caster, a lizardfolk warrior, a red dragonborn paladin, and a tabaxi monk. [00:13:09] Speaker C: Yeah. And they were, they were really cool characters. They were very interested. They knew exactly who Craig was. And then they, as I walked in or as ro walked in, and then as Boz, Greta, and Tella walked in, they were all kind of shook up. And if I remember correctly, Greta, because Abby wasn't there, Greta went to get some honey bread and then go to sleep, and ro decided to sit down with, with Craig there and was trying to steer the conversation away from, like, too much detail for a while. And then Ro ended up probably being the one that spilled the mole. [00:13:52] Speaker B: Yeah. That was so funny. No, because, well, one of. [00:13:57] Speaker C: Yeah, one of the, one of the members of the party. I don't remember which one. Was it the. I don't know. It was probably. [00:14:04] Speaker A: It was the caster. It was a three quarterlings. That was like, haha. That was a funny joke. [00:14:08] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:14:08] Speaker A: What did you say about the God above all? [00:14:10] Speaker C: Yeah, she was, like, taking notes. She had a journal and was, like, taking notes of basically, like, everything we were telling them and we kept trying to steer him away, but then we kept kind of rolling bad on the persuasion and all. And then towards the end, Ro basically was just like, I'm not going to tell you anything else, but here's this, and you can do with it what you want. And she literally took the girl's quill and drew the symbol of the maker in her journal and was just like, here, I'm not going to tell you anything about it, but here you go. And all of them were literally, quite literally, like, we're going to devote our. [00:14:47] Speaker B: Lives to this evangelism. [00:14:52] Speaker C: We have a mission. [00:14:53] Speaker B: You know, when they draw out, like, the two cliffs and then, like, the cross that connects both sides, I like to think, you know, it's like that tool. Like, I like to think this is the equivalent. [00:15:05] Speaker A: Here's the boss showed up in the middle of this, saw what was going on, and he was like, nope. And just went. He went to the bar. [00:15:11] Speaker C: Wait, didn't Oz and Ro, on two separate accounts, make one of them faint or something? Yeah. [00:15:19] Speaker A: No, I did not. [00:15:20] Speaker C: You didn't know? It wasn't row. But I thought he fainted twice. [00:15:25] Speaker A: He did. Because of you. [00:15:27] Speaker C: Oh, because of Rob. [00:15:30] Speaker A: I was like, hi. And then I just. I just was like, nope. And tell o came with me. I wanted to get my. I wanted to fill up my new eggshell challenge. [00:15:38] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:15:39] Speaker A: And as that was going. [00:15:41] Speaker C: Fill it up with something. What? [00:15:43] Speaker A: Yeah, I had to fill it up with anything, basically. And I was. Zachary has his homebrew spell called divination of the Mad prince, which is like a druid spell where you get to roll a D 100. And depending on what you roll, you can ask a question and get an answer from Yelick to not the mad prince. So I got my chalice finally, after having this spell on the back burner for the last two years, and I was like, I want to order the same room we did last time, you know, because that was a Craig in the bathroom moment, and I just returned back to the room and I. It was a. I think for every single character, going back to that room eventually was a very. It was a special moment because I feel like all of us were at different places on our journeys at that point, thought different things were going to be happening. It was the room where Boz was whisked away for the first time, and given the staff of the Mad prince, it was. [00:16:50] Speaker C: I had to. [00:16:51] Speaker A: It was the room. I mean. Micah, what mean. What did Craig do? I mean, what does that. What does that room mean to Craig. [00:16:56] Speaker B: Um, I think that, like, well, he did try to get revenge on the tub. I think he tried to make it moldy. [00:17:04] Speaker A: Yeah, he did. [00:17:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:06] Speaker B: So, because, you know, he's got precision. Rip. [00:17:09] Speaker C: Well, Micah covered. I unfortunately informed Micah that prestidigitation, as you all know, is like my spell of all spells, and I know all the ins and outs of it. And I unfortunately informed Micah that you don't. You can't. You don't have to just make things clean with prestidigitation. You can also dirty things. It says in the spells description that you can dirty up things. So I'm a little worried that's going to come into play. [00:17:40] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. No, it has. It already has. Because he's a gross Broski, you know, like, he's. He's grosse. It's so funny, because that one spell that I, like press digitization, you know, whenever I'm, like, candidly trying to, like. Or just casually trying to say it, I struggle so much saying it. It's like a tongue twister. But he made the tub moldy and, you know, out of spite. But I think being back in the room, it was kind of full circle for him, especially because that room was the last place that he, you know, was breathing. That room was the last place that, like, he was without old. And to be there again, it was like full circle. But I think that, like, he does miss old. He does. That was a companionship. That was. That was a connection. [00:18:38] Speaker C: He was part of you. [00:18:39] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. So I think that it does feel so full circle, but it also was very encouraging for him to see that he is a different person now and that this path that he's on for the first time in his life is a good path, and that he feels confident that he is growing as a person. And that's the first time in his whole life that he's been experiencing development, and here he is. [00:19:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Ro, what about you? [00:19:11] Speaker C: Um, well, it was. I feel like. I mean, I feel like it was definitely a. A boz, uh, Greta, Craig thing, because it was definitely where you guys, like, first, you know, bought a room for the night in a tavern, you know, and stuff like that. It was really cool for Ro to be back there, though. Like I had said, it was kind of a little bit of her stomping grounds when she was, you know, living there for a year. And I don't know, I think it was nice. We got two rooms, didn't we? Because Tello and Greta stayed in one room. [00:19:50] Speaker A: Yeah, we got two rooms. [00:19:51] Speaker C: Oh, and Greta. Greta, we rolled. Did we roll a d 100? Is that what you rolled or something? And, Greta, I don't know how we came up with the number, but Zach had someone roll something, and Greta ended up getting 44 pieces of honey bread. That's now in her inventory. [00:20:11] Speaker A: She does. [00:20:13] Speaker C: Unbeknownst to Abby. Yeah, because Abby was not there, but she does. 44 pieces of honey bread. [00:20:19] Speaker B: Wait, I have a response. [00:20:21] Speaker A: What happens in the warm hearth? [00:20:24] Speaker B: I. Yeah, I told her. I texted her, and I said, oh, man, where is it? Oh, gosh. We've texted a little bit since then. Okay, you have one less gold and 44 loaves of honey bread. And she said, oh, perf. You guys know me so well. She's very happy with the arrangement. [00:20:41] Speaker A: Good, good. [00:20:42] Speaker C: I do have a couple of quotes before we get into the. Because it goes a little bit more serious here in a second. But, um, just a couple of quotes. There was a bunch of, um. There's a few times where, uh, Bozeman slash Landon coined the phrase bros before Rose. [00:21:00] Speaker A: True. I did say that. And I stand by it. Me and tell till the end. [00:21:06] Speaker C: We also have Zack saying this after. I think we were all really concerned that that party we met was, like, bounty hunters or bad stuff or whatever. [00:21:16] Speaker A: And Zach said, might still be Zach. [00:21:17] Speaker C: Zachary. And Zach said, no, no, you guys are allowed to have good experiences. [00:21:22] Speaker A: He said that a lot these last two episodes. Like, so many moments. Like, hey, guys, sometimes good things happen. Okay? I just heard people. Bad things. No, good things too. I promise. And listen, I'm for it. I liked it. It was a good two episodes. [00:21:39] Speaker C: And then I have. I think this was Boz talking to the bartender, who was quite amazed by Boz's look, his beautiful gold and chinese looks. Boz told the bartender, my mom was a tree and my dad was not a tree. [00:21:57] Speaker A: That is fact, though. [00:21:59] Speaker C: And I also have. Are you joshing? My elbow, which is something that I think Boz said, but I don't remember where. [00:22:05] Speaker A: Did not say that. That is false. [00:22:07] Speaker C: Who said it, then? [00:22:08] Speaker B: That was you joshing my. [00:22:10] Speaker C: I did not say that. [00:22:11] Speaker B: It wasn't. [00:22:12] Speaker C: I wouldn't have written those. It would have either been Zack. [00:22:16] Speaker A: You are. The nose goes. [00:22:18] Speaker C: I didn't say that. I don't think I have ever said Joshin. [00:22:22] Speaker A: Those goes does not lie to. [00:22:25] Speaker B: I feel like it's either Zack or Landon. Yeah, definitely like Zack, probably. Is there anything else? Oh, there is something else. [00:22:34] Speaker A: The big moment I went into the room, I was by myself for the longest time because everybody else was still getting high off honey bread and getting recognized. And I cast divination of the mad prince. And the way the spell works is you can ask one question while swirling whatever alcohol you have in your little dragon egg goblet, and you roll a d 100. And I rolled something obnoxiously high, like in the eighties or nineties. And Zachary gave me a look of like, well, I guess. Here we go. And he was like, what's your question? And Jackie so graciously actually wrote down the exact quote. [00:23:11] Speaker C: Yes. [00:23:12] Speaker A: So, Jackie, do you want to read the quote that I asked in the spell? [00:23:15] Speaker C: I'm honored. Baz asks, are the fun guys strong enough to defeat me? Score in her shop? [00:23:25] Speaker A: And we found out simply and resoundingly, yes, we are strong enough to. [00:23:34] Speaker C: I also have a quote here that just says druidic nothings. You heard druidic nothings. [00:23:42] Speaker A: After Yelich, Tanath tells me that we are strong enough to take her on. He says she knows this and she worries about it and that we should be worried about what she has planned because of that. So a little ominous. And then as the vision ended, I saw the lock of hair that I gave her in that first encounter kind of like appear and fall through the air, then disappear. So a little bit of an ominous message. Do you guys want me to move on to what happened after that, or do you have something else you want to say? [00:24:22] Speaker C: Well. Oh, I was going to. Or, go ahead. [00:24:26] Speaker B: No, you go ahead. [00:24:27] Speaker C: I was just going to say, I have one more quote here. Because we were going back and forth as Zach. We were apparently at one point when we were talking about, I think Craig asked or someone else asked why the maker was the maker or the more powerful God. And I have in quotes here, when a deity loves the world very much. So we had to kind of step around that. But that was a little funny joke we did. But, yeah, I think. I think then we went upstairs and we saw Boz went to sleep. Right. [00:25:04] Speaker A: And then I was, I was out. [00:25:06] Speaker C: And then Craig and I soon followed to sleep, and Craig took a bed and ro took the space in between the two on the floor and made a little her, you know, usual flower bed. And then, yeah, you guys know, in. [00:25:22] Speaker A: The episodes, and I'm saying, you guys as listeners and, you know, Jackie and Micah, but, you know, when Zach randomly turns on the suspense music, when you're. [00:25:30] Speaker C: Not expecting it, when you look up. [00:25:34] Speaker A: At him and you're like, what are you doing? [00:25:36] Speaker C: Oh, and you know, when it's after we've fallen asleep, you're like, get ready for one of Zach's classic nightmare like, whenever nightmare scenarios. [00:25:45] Speaker B: I remember, like, walking into Landon's house and, like, thinking it was gonna be a regular episode kind of thing. And then he was wearing his combat shirt. [00:25:52] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:25:53] Speaker B: I'm like, okay, here we go. [00:25:55] Speaker A: All right. I think I have my therapist on speed dial. So, I mean, surprise, surprise. Me score. Found new that I did the thing and asked that exact question. So I appeared in her shop, and she was like, come over here. Come sit with me at my table. I want to talk to you. Boss, I been watching you, and this is the part where, like, Zach. I really want to recreate this with Zach, and I'm pretty sure we are. Uh, we're still talking about it, discussing it. So, uh, just in case we're not, I'm going to give you the lowdown, but if you want to hear it in Zach's me score voice, um, might be coming on the Patreon pretty soon. [00:26:38] Speaker C: But Jack and I do have. I was going to say. And. And once we get into it, I did, uh, write down a few quotes that she actually said to Boz. [00:26:47] Speaker A: Yes. Yes. So I get in there, and she basically. You know how we're kind of, like, in a hag love triangle right now, right? You got the baba yaga, you've got the ghadriaga, and you've got Madame Meescore. For all this episode, I called Ghadre yaga gaga yaga. Cause it was funny, and Zach hated it, but I'm not. [00:27:08] Speaker C: And then I said, at the beginning of the next episode, I said, so it's yo gabba gabba, lady Gaga. I can tell Zach was very frustrated with that. [00:27:20] Speaker A: If you want to get a classic Zach look, call her the gaga yaga. You can only do it once, but her real name is Gadriaga. But basically, madame Muscor is like, hey, I gave you all that stuff I gave you on purpose. You know, the only reason you knew about Zorgram or she never said his name. She always said the bloodied one. I noticed that. [00:27:38] Speaker C: She basically took credit for everything. [00:27:40] Speaker A: She took credit. I gave you the scale. I gave you the heart. You would have never met Alondra if it wasn't for me, which, to be clear, yes. But also, she's bad, so she was like, I know that I'm not as scary as the bloodied one, so. But I think you should give that black rock to me, not the baba ya. You should give me the rock. Partner with me. I'm a better friend than I am an enemy. You can always trust somebody who doesn't tell the truth or whatever. And she was like, I'll not only protect you from Baba yaga, I'll give you a wish. We'll be best friends, and we'll skip together. She didn't say that, but basically she was trying to say, I chose you on purpose, and I don't want to be enemies. And I was like, so then why you be hunting us and stuff? [00:28:31] Speaker C: She even kind of said she'd protect you, right? [00:28:34] Speaker A: Yeah, she said she'd protect me. And she was trying to, like. Like, gaslight me into thinking even kind. [00:28:40] Speaker C: Of trying to, like, pit you a little bit against the rest of the party, right? [00:28:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I think I just turned on combat music accidentally there. Where are you? But. But, yeah, she was trying to, like. Like, make me feel, oh, you're so much better than the other people and the fun guys. Boss was not taking any of it. And she was like, I know you're trying to planning to kill me. And boss is like, we're not planning to kill you. I know you are. And he was like, I'm not. She was like, okay, all right. I'll tell you who the heart belongs to. I'll give you the wish. I'll protect you. Just bring me the black stone. And she. She didn't really give Boz a lot of chances to respond. And by the time her part was done, I think I said a little bit. But the. Sorry. [00:29:26] Speaker C: Excuse me. [00:29:27] Speaker A: The dream was most. Was mostly, oh, it was done. And I woke up and actually. [00:29:30] Speaker C: Psychic damage, because you actually. You actually forgot, like, a couple key things. [00:29:35] Speaker A: All right, lay it on me. [00:29:37] Speaker C: She did say, this is quoted. So she said, you can always trust a liar, boz. I'm your only hope against the bloodied one. Your wish, the heart. I'll tell all of that's what she said. But one thing that you forgot to say is she pulled up your, like. She pulled. [00:29:54] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:29:55] Speaker C: IPhone. And she was like, I have a picture of your sister. No, I'm showing illusion of you. [00:30:01] Speaker A: Try to kill me. [00:30:01] Speaker C: Oh. [00:30:02] Speaker A: Ice. Your family is what she. [00:30:04] Speaker C: Yeah, basically, she was. She was like, oh, what about your sister? Look at you. See a little picture of your sister. Yeah. Think about that, Boz. Bossy. Boyden. [00:30:13] Speaker A: True. Yeah. [00:30:16] Speaker C: So I also have quoted here a ceiling of nothing but shadow. And I don't know what that is, but that sounds. [00:30:21] Speaker B: That's because that's the ceiling of the place. Yeah. Shop is. [00:30:27] Speaker A: Shops in the shadow fell. Like, I bet you walk through, like, an interdimensional door or something. I bet her shop is this. [00:30:31] Speaker B: Do you think if we get a tall enough ladder, we could just, like, go up there? [00:30:37] Speaker A: No, she's not in the material plane. I bet you she thinks that's. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's my hot take. I don't think Madame score is in the material plane. [00:30:44] Speaker C: Oh, maybe. And for listeners who don't remember, this is all, like, this was in Boz's dream, but, like, you have to remember that Madame me square shop is, like, like, a couple miles down the road from literally where we're staying at the warm hearth. Like, she's, like, in the same town right now. [00:31:02] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:03] Speaker C: Also, I just want to say, as a longtime fan of the podcast myself, who. So one of the reasons I fell in love with the podcast before I joined it was Madame Meescourt. In that original scene with y'all in there with her, this was the first time I ever got to experience and see and hear Zach do her live, and it was very captivating. [00:31:29] Speaker A: Did he do her voice at the live show? He did her voice at the live show. [00:31:33] Speaker C: I don't think so. [00:31:33] Speaker A: The monster was from her. [00:31:34] Speaker C: I thought the monster was from her, but I don't think he did her voice. [00:31:37] Speaker A: But how do we know that? I swear he says something at the live show. Someone fact check me. Not in this group right now because. [00:31:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:31:43] Speaker B: Jonathan. [00:31:48] Speaker A: Yeah. So I think that's the gist of 108 warmer hearts. Let me do a little brief on Zach. I want to talk about anything while. [00:32:00] Speaker B: I'm looking at the document that Zach gave us. And it says that warmer Hearts is episode 109. [00:32:06] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:32:06] Speaker A: He has it switched. [00:32:07] Speaker C: He has it switched. [00:32:08] Speaker A: Ok. Yeah, no worries. [00:32:11] Speaker B: Chilling, dude. [00:32:14] Speaker A: I. Yeah. So I think that's about it for 109. I mean, 108. Gosh dang it, Zachary. 108 warmer hearts. And next time, we're gonna hit you with the summary for 109. Sorry, again. This is not gonna happen again. We've already found a way to make sure that files get automatically saved with this new service that we're using. It is a discord bot, and we were just kind of figuring out the kinks. So thanks for bearing with us, and we'll catch you on the flippy flip. What's the thing that Zachary says? Life's an incredible story, and you're an important part of it. Skibity.
