Episode Transcript
[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hi, and welcome back to your mental adventure. This is barely deep what Dragons podcast here. Kidnapped you.
Hope you're having fun.
So. Oh, this is your. Your local paladin, Craig. Your assistant, you today.
We're very excited to you. Our letter.
[00:00:33] Speaker B: Oh, heck, yeah.
All right, well, wait.
[00:00:37] Speaker C: I think we're trying to get into some.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: Oh, oh, Micah pulled out a book.
[00:00:45] Speaker C: Wait, is that the.
[00:00:46] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it's the book.
[00:00:47] Speaker C: I got it.
[00:00:50] Speaker A: This is just a suggestion. If someone has something that's a bit more episode themed. I don't know, but one is.
[00:00:57] Speaker B: Let's do it.
[00:00:59] Speaker A: What habit is your character trying to break?
[00:01:03] Speaker B: That's great.
Who's the. Who's the dmnpc?
[00:01:08] Speaker C: I really want it to be for this.
Yeah.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: You know, yeah. I'm gonna go because this is. This could be the last time that we ever get to do with her.
[00:01:16] Speaker C: We can't ask more questions about her.
[00:01:22] Speaker B: You know, so.
Okay, we'll go with mi. Score. All right, let's.
Let's start with the person with the yellowest background. What if we did that? No.
[00:01:35] Speaker C: Why is it always me?
[00:01:37] Speaker B: Jackie? I picked things at random. Dude, it could be literally anybody. We can't know who it's gonna be. Jackie.
[00:01:43] Speaker C: I know.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: It's go.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Could have been anybody.
Okay, fine. The person who put their finger on their nose first.
[00:01:48] Speaker C: No, I nl.
Again, I'm not going to. Someone else can go. I gotta think about it.
[00:01:56] Speaker D: All right.
[00:01:56] Speaker B: Madame Miscore is trying to break the habit of not exacting greater manipulation and vengeance on parties she makes contracts with sooner.
[00:02:06] Speaker A: Is she.
[00:02:06] Speaker C: Is she trying to break that?
[00:02:08] Speaker B: No.
I mean, she definitely, definitely made. She's only as involved with you guys as she, like, felt she had to be. But what habit is she probably trying to break?
[00:02:19] Speaker A: 9.
[00:02:21] Speaker B: She is. That's the problem. She's completely satisfied with who she is.
[00:02:27] Speaker C: What a queen.
[00:02:29] Speaker E: I think that's the only problem that I would, like, give. You know, I think that's it. Like, she's just too happy with herself.
[00:02:37] Speaker B: She needs some reflection, I think.
[00:02:39] Speaker E: I do think that's Is the problem.
[00:02:42] Speaker C: I'll go. I'll go.
Fine.
Since you went first, I will go.
I had to. I had to enact my dominance.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Established.
[00:02:54] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly.
That's the word I was looking for. Thank you.
[00:03:02] Speaker B: Everybody stand back. I'm gonna enact dominance real hard.
[00:03:07] Speaker C: I would say early on in the campaign, Roe would have said the habit she's trying to break is stealing things.
Because she did that a lot. Probably more so, like, off book, even. I would, like to say that she did, but. And before she met you guys. But I think now, I think she got better at it. And now that so many, so many, like huge decisions are coming their way and she's like more nervous.
[00:03:39] Speaker D: It.
[00:03:39] Speaker C: It's her like prestidigitating all the time has like come back a little bit. Like, obviously she's, she's gotten better at like the consent of like asking someone before, before they want prestidigitating, but things like, just like she walks into a room, especially now that they have like a home base. She walks into a room and immediately if there's anything out of place, she is, she's fixing that up.
[00:04:03] Speaker B: She.
[00:04:03] Speaker A: I feel this.
[00:04:04] Speaker C: She's cleaning it. And, and I think that's her coping. I mean, that's her coping mechanism.
[00:04:09] Speaker B: I feel like it's a thing she's successfully breaking too.
[00:04:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:13] Speaker C: And I think. But I think it's gotten a little like it's, it's a little step back since all of these big decisions.
[00:04:19] Speaker B: Well, sometimes you take a step back. Who's up next?
[00:04:24] Speaker E: Take a step back.
[00:04:26] Speaker C: Did anyone hear that?
[00:04:29] Speaker B: So, yeah, you can go, Mike.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: I think the obvious one would be Craig putting rocks in his mouth and chewing on them.
[00:04:38] Speaker E: I'm glad that he's aware of that.
[00:04:40] Speaker A: No, that's why it's not that. Because he's not aware of it.
That would be the obvious one. But he's okay with it. It's actually biting his toenails.
[00:04:52] Speaker C: No, Micah, no.
[00:05:00] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:05:01] Speaker D: I.
[00:05:01] Speaker B: Now I'm just like an image envisioning like a flashback of like Bill Free on the boat like a year and a half ago. Just like staring in disgust as Craig has his foot all the way up to his mouth. And he's just like, that's terrifying.
[00:05:17] Speaker A: That's his habit.
[00:05:18] Speaker B: That's the thing. Micah chose to voluntarily say Abby or Greta.
[00:05:25] Speaker E: The grab it rabbi is grind to grape.
[00:05:32] Speaker B: If you're having a stroke, give us a hand.
[00:05:37] Speaker E: I feel like I. I just, I feel like Greta used to smoke cigarettes and now she doesn't. So she's already broken that habit.
Been a long life, guys.
[00:05:45] Speaker B: I can see that.
[00:05:46] Speaker C: Yeah, no, that's.
[00:05:47] Speaker E: I mean, hey, she would stop different.
[00:05:49] Speaker C: It was a different time 150 years ago when she was middle aged.
[00:05:54] Speaker E: She would go to warm a billboard, would say, this will make you healthy. And she was like, I guess I'll stock up.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: Oh, Jackie, do you have inspiration?
[00:06:05] Speaker A: I do not.
[00:06:08] Speaker B: Take inspiration.
Funny.
It's funny because Greta's old.
[00:06:16] Speaker C: Regrets.
Greaves, whatever your Name is.
[00:06:21] Speaker B: Okay. Was that your answer, Greta?
[00:06:23] Speaker E: No.
[00:06:25] Speaker B: Oh, also landing. I like the babe hat.
[00:06:29] Speaker E: That could be my answer. It's a habit that she has broken because the Hags didn't allow it. She went, I feel like they didn't allow it. Yeah, they didn't allow it. And then she realized that she felt much better after work.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: I feel like the Hags would be like, here's cocaine. But all right.
[00:06:46] Speaker C: They didn't want her setting things on fire.
[00:06:49] Speaker E: Yeah, the smoke bothered them. They're all kind of like, asthmatic.
[00:06:53] Speaker B: Definitely not true. They're God's.
[00:06:55] Speaker C: Can we please make that canon? Hags are asthmatic.
[00:06:59] Speaker B: Ripping someone's bones out. And then Boz. What's his. What's the habit he's trying to break?
[00:07:08] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:07:09] Speaker D: Misplacing things.
I'm sure he misplaces stuff that forgets.
[00:07:13] Speaker B: Where he's put it.
[00:07:14] Speaker D: Always searching his pockets.
[00:07:15] Speaker B: Probably okay.
[00:07:18] Speaker E: Unexpected, but he's a pocket man.
[00:07:23] Speaker B: I. For my DM drink today, I mixed cachasa, this Brazilian liquor, with orange juice. And let me tell you, it's not very good, but I'm gonna drink it because I made it.
I don't know. Can't waste it. I mean, it's not bad. It's just not good.
But that doesn't matter. I'm the bad guy. So with. With the boss shirt on, let's do this.
Note taking nerds. This is level 14 adventure. The date is 3488pb. CBCall. 8th notem.
Oh, my goodness. We've gone so full circle. Jackie was the one being surprised by things just then. That's. We've gone all the way around the sun, and this is episode 164, deal breaker, part two, or settle me Score.
We.
Yes. Yes. And you know what, Jackie? If you'll message me that, I'll put it in the flavor text on the episode, on the little description.
[00:08:21] Speaker C: Please don't.
[00:08:22] Speaker B: No, I will. I will. You'll text it to me. I'll forget. But if you'll text it to me, I will make that the flavor description.
Some notes, really quickly for everybody. This is the third round of combat, if that matters to anyone.
And also, I'm doing this, by the way, I'm saying all these things because, I mean, we are just going to start, like, in a second. We're just going right back to it. So this is the third round of combat. It's actually Boz's turn.
[00:08:54] Speaker C: The last session, but you weren't done.
[00:08:56] Speaker E: With your turn you wanted to do.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: Yeah, I have very detailed notes here. I went back and listened to it. I mean notes at the time and I have notes now. So let me. Let me give you all the information and we'll get right back to it. So, third round of combat. It's Boz's turn. Boz has used his action to banish the Bone Golem and he has used exactly 25ft of movement. But he still has any remaining movement and has not used his bonus action.
Our lair action has gone off for this round of combat.
But is so it has already occurred. Nobody needs to roll a T20. But Miscor has not used any legendary actions, nor has the bezorzalbazz. The bezorzalbazz is right here. The black square. It is heavily injured.
And then the illusion of Miscore is still over here. You all are aware that she is somewhere above you in the darkness. But scuttle what I happen to know. Yes, she's scuttling around somewhere up in the darkness, but you're not aware of a whole lot more than that.
Oh, I think this is the first time I've used this song in the campaign. That's fun.
A momentous moment. I found out a while back and I wanted to utilize it. It's also a Kevin Maclean song, which is sick.
[00:10:08] Speaker E: Wow. Kevin doesn't miss Kevin.
[00:10:12] Speaker A: Kevin.
[00:10:13] Speaker B: Bye bye Kevin by my bab. So, other notes.
Craig, you are still concentrating on blinding smite. So it is still on Star Splinter. Whenever you hit with a. With an attack, you can expend it. You have not used it yet. As another note, Ro has cast cry of the old song. So everyone still has resistance to psychic and you guys are aware of all your hit point modifiers. And Boz's heroes feast is still active. So everybody has advantage in wisdom saving throws and cannot be frightened. And then as a last note, Boz has. Oh, good job, Zach. Good dealing. Boz cast obdurate on both himself and Craig. So both of you still have advantage on charisma saving throws. Okay, that was a lot of info.
[00:11:05] Speaker E: Micah still has charisma protection from good and evil.
[00:11:09] Speaker B: Yes. Oh, you're the best.
[00:11:12] Speaker D: Somebody else has trained on movement. I can't remember who.
[00:11:15] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, yeah.
[00:11:16] Speaker B: And you know what?
I want to put a marker.
[00:11:19] Speaker C: I have a question.
I cannot remember and I do not have it anywhere in my notes that I stopped. But I didn't know if you did. Was I still concentrating the last time? I believe I was on.
On Barkskin. It's concentration.
[00:11:38] Speaker B: Yes. You are.
[00:11:39] Speaker C: I don't believe I broke it.
[00:11:42] Speaker B: Jekyll.
[00:11:43] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:11:44] Speaker B: You were. That's right.
And then as one more reminder, there's Craig, there's the bizorzal Baz, there's Greta Boz Tello, who is unsuccessfully hidden at the moment. And so going right back in with the last bonus action on boss's turn. If you want any boss, would you like to expend any form of bonus action?
[00:12:09] Speaker D: Yeah, I think I'm going to roll. I mean, I'm gonna do vicious mockery on the Bezorzel Baz.
[00:12:14] Speaker B: Okay. Sick wisdom saving throw.
[00:12:17] Speaker D: Yes, it is a wisdom saving throw.
[00:12:21] Speaker B: Wow.
He doesn't have a bad Mavira. That wasn't a good.
That's not a good role.
You know what?
He's only used one.
He's rough enough. He's actually gonna use a legendary resistance on a vicious mockery.
[00:12:48] Speaker D: That's actually some good economy.
[00:12:52] Speaker B: That's actually really good. Because he's very rough and he has. He has a purpose to pursue. So. Oh, also listener. So sorry. Dark disturbing miscore of interior. Interior's magical menagerie. The claustrophobic shelves on every side are leaning in in the compressed space. The fungi's are still deep in the dark bowels of the shop, fighting against Miscor in the very opening Boz castle an ice knife which passed right through my's Cor, revealing that where she sees here is an illusion. And ever since then they've heard the scuttling terror of her above. The Bungolim has been swallowed into the floor by dark tentacles. And they rage now against the highly injured Bezorzalbaz with a largely roughened party. Having expended many resources.
Baz as you speak, an insult in the sylvan tongue that you know the Bazor's will understand. Given its shadow fey powers.
It simply flares its eyes with that sort of dark gray smoky magic it has and resists it.
That is the end of your turn. I assume in this case we will go actually, before anything happens at the end of Boz's turn.
No, no, we're gonna hold on to that. Okay. It's me Score's turn.
Madame Meescor. She is up next in initiative. Let's get ugly.
[00:14:22] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:14:22] Speaker B: She is used once. She's got so many spell slots. That's not good.
From up above in the darkness. I've got a huge decision.
Yeah. She's gonna go for the big guns.
She is going to use her action to invoke puppet master.
[00:14:44] Speaker A: No.
[00:14:45] Speaker E: Oh, no.
[00:14:46] Speaker B: From up in the darkness, miscore in the depths where you cannot see her, pulls together against the raptor she's holding her tongue, darts out from between her teeth and licks up her face and her lips. And with that wedded. With that wedding phrasing, she just whispers out a little curse, and she says, you still owe me a debt.
And Craig, in your mind, you hear, kill them.
And I need you to make a charisma saving throw for me.
That obdurate was a good call, Craig.
[00:15:20] Speaker E: Do you still.
[00:15:23] Speaker C: Have. Do you still have the I had given you?
[00:15:29] Speaker D: Zach, this may be something that you have to rule on, because object doesn't give advantage on charisma saving throws.
[00:15:36] Speaker B: It just makes.
Yeah, so you're immune to charm, but it's also like a third or fourth level spell, and this is.
[00:15:43] Speaker D: No, it does have advantage on charisma saving throws. Yes, it does. You're right.
[00:15:47] Speaker B: Well, no, no, but you're also correct, Lando. It says in the spell that you're immune to a chance charm. So advantage on charisma saving throws. Immune to a charm. But the idea is that this is a lot more than a charm, Craig. This is what the party was talking about last time with, like, the debtor to the fake contract and all that. So it's not going to prevent him from having this charm because of the level of this effect. I mean, this is one of the strongest forces that could be doing this to Greg. But he does get advantage on the charisma saving throw. And remember, Craig, you have a plus one from your own aura. From that deep magic subclass aura, you get a plus one on this saving.
[00:16:23] Speaker C: Throw and a per diem.
[00:16:25] Speaker E: You also have protection from good and evil. I don't know what that I just wanted.
[00:16:29] Speaker B: I don't think it affects that, but.
[00:16:31] Speaker E: Okay, it says target also can't be charmed, frightened, or possessed. I just want to make sure that.
[00:16:37] Speaker B: Right.
[00:16:37] Speaker E: If it helps, I want it to help.
[00:16:40] Speaker B: Yes, Micah.
[00:16:45] Speaker A: 28.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: Was that a nat 20?
[00:16:52] Speaker A: Yeah. Wait, okay, so I have a question.
I just went and rolled everything. I rolled the D20, I rolled the Bardic inspiration, and I rolled my per diem.
Now, looking back, I'm realizing that might not have been necessary. I just thought I was gonna get a really low roll.
[00:17:07] Speaker D: No, no, Micah, that's a good idea.
[00:17:10] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:10] Speaker B: And if you've used them, you've used them.
A 28 for a nat 20 as the first roll of the session. Micah, how does it look?
[00:17:20] Speaker C: 29.
[00:17:21] Speaker A: No, no, no. I'm so sorry.
[00:17:23] Speaker B: She's still doing math.
[00:17:25] Speaker D: So wait One second.
[00:17:26] Speaker A: Solid. 32.
[00:17:29] Speaker C: That's the highest Craig roll ever.
The most.
[00:17:35] Speaker B: Well, Micah, that's a way to open the session.
[00:17:38] Speaker A: The 32.
[00:17:40] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:17:42] Speaker B: In a massive turn of events, opening up the combat, resisting the pull of a hag with a debt. With a contract debt on your soul, Craig.
And in my notes, in my notes, next to puppet master, if you resist, you gain immunity to the effect.
So Craig with a 32, the highest roll for Craig the entire campaign. I would like what you. I would like you to describe for me what it looks like as Craig resists the power Madame Miscor has on the rights to utilize his mind and soul. What does it look like?
[00:18:29] Speaker A: I feel like in an anime.
[00:18:31] Speaker E: Like, it would be, like.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Lifts and his, like, eyes are glowing.
Like, eyes are glowing. And then. And then he, like, says something really cool, so I'm gonna do that. So he, like, his eyes, like, shoot up at madam escort and they're, like, glowing. And he said, but what if I don't wanna?
[00:18:53] Speaker B: What if I don't wanna.
Excellent. Crap.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: You can't make me.
[00:19:00] Speaker B: As the twisted vithly sylvan tickles across your brain, you look up in the darkness, and for this moment, you just know. You can feel her above. You can't even pinpoint her exact position, but you can feel her. And as you look up, the bazorzalbaz raising in front of you, sand pouring out of its wounds, star splinter gleaming at your side, Your eyes flare with golden light, and you say, but what if I don't wanna. It's. Except it comes out in the hundreds of tongues of the deepest speech, and everyone can hear it and understand it. And the walls sort of like vibrate for a second and all the candles flicker. And Craig, you feel that.
That cold on your spine leaves a little. It's not like she's. It's not like you've totally revoked your debt to her, but you just loosened that grip a little. Yay, Micah. That's huge.
That's so big.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: Can I know what the. Can I know what the saving throw was like. What was the bare minimum that I had to hit?
[00:19:58] Speaker B: Yes, that was. That was DC20.
[00:20:03] Speaker E: Wow.
[00:20:04] Speaker A: Wait, I didn't need to use.
[00:20:10] Speaker B: That was a. That's.
[00:20:11] Speaker C: That was a good time to do it.
[00:20:13] Speaker B: Well, if he was gonna miss me, I didn't have to put. Put the bulletproof vest on. Like. Yeah, okay, but I think that was a good time to use those. You could have just not rolled. Well, that was the right call because Otherwise, if you hadn't, you'd be using your next turn to turn around and do all the damage you possibly could to Greta, which is a lot.
No one here can do more damage than you. So that was a good turn.
[00:20:37] Speaker D: You're focusing on smite too, so.
[00:20:40] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, I would imagine. Really? Really.
[00:20:42] Speaker C: Oh, my God.
[00:20:44] Speaker B: So that was Micah. That was the. That was the right.
Okay, there are no other. No, nothing she has is a bonus action.
Okay, so with that Madame Miscore, you hear. You hear from. From above you all in the darkness. This with anger. And then there's the sound of more scuttling and shooting, shuffling. And that is the end of Mi Score's turn. Next up in initiative, we go to Craig. What are you doing?
[00:21:13] Speaker A: No way. So you're saying I'm focused on blinding smite?
[00:21:19] Speaker B: Yes, and actually, you know what?
[00:21:21] Speaker A: It's divine.
[00:21:22] Speaker B: At the end of Misforce turn the. Well, it could be. I don't remember if it's defined. Spider. Blind spider. I know you're focused on one.
The bizarre Zobezi is going to go ahead and use its legendary actions and it's Gonna use all three to cast a third level spell.
Oh, Greg, what's your AC again?
[00:21:41] Speaker A: Spell AC.
[00:21:43] Speaker B: Your. Your. Your AC.
Your armor.
[00:21:46] Speaker A: Class 21, I'm pretty sure. Let me double check that.
[00:21:51] Speaker B: Okay, now I have remembered that because of Greta's excellent protection from good and evil, I rolled a disadvantage.
So what is your AC?
[00:22:06] Speaker A: 21.
[00:22:09] Speaker B: I rolled a 20.
So missing by one disadvantage. The Bazor's Labaz does not rolling a 20. It. It's eyes with the smoke. And as it all this like dark varicose veins pulse up its arm and it swings as your head rebuff it with your shield. Craig. You are not hit with a third level inflict wounds. The same spell that kiss that killed Thespis and it just whiffs over you don't take 5d10 damage animated.
[00:22:45] Speaker E: Wow.
[00:22:45] Speaker B: Excellent. Okay, now it is your turn. Craig, what are you doing?
[00:22:48] Speaker A: Okay, so I'm trying to like, recall how blind. How divine smite. Because I don't think I have blinding smart. I think it's just divine smite.
[00:22:59] Speaker B: Okay, maybe it was just divine smite. Okay, great, great. But you hit. You have the die.
[00:23:04] Speaker A: Yeah, that's just so I don't have to concentrate. What do I have to concentrate on that? Why am I concentrating?
[00:23:09] Speaker B: Well, I knew you were concentrating on something, so that's why I think you were using a smite spell. But if it's just divine smite that's fine. You don't have to be concentrating. Honestly don't care.
So you can just roll the. Hit my guy.
[00:23:20] Speaker A: Heck yeah.
[00:23:23] Speaker B: What am I doing?
[00:23:24] Speaker A: I'm going momento while I do that. Oh, who? Bad guy closest to me.
[00:23:30] Speaker B: It's right in your face.
[00:23:31] Speaker A: Cool. We're definitely going after it.
Okay, so I've got 22 and a 16.
[00:23:49] Speaker B: Okay, totals.
[00:23:51] Speaker A: That's it. 22 and a 16.
[00:23:53] Speaker B: 22 and a 16.
The 22 will hit. The 16 will miss. It'll just miss.
[00:24:02] Speaker A: So am I playing it at advantage? Is there anything that gives me advantage on this? Okay, cool.
[00:24:08] Speaker B: So, Craig, as you slice forward with the sword once, the Bezorzo bass just brings a heavy fist down and slams it down under your shield, and it, like, knocks your feet askew. So you lose your positioning and your. And your sword swings wide. What does it look like as you hit with your second attack?
[00:24:23] Speaker A: Okay, here's what we're going to do. 2d6.
[00:24:31] Speaker D: Don't forget the extra fire damage from me.
[00:24:34] Speaker A: Oh, don't you worry.
[00:24:35] Speaker E: I'm not.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: Oh, I love confident Micah. It's fun.
She said we're good.
This is the Micah math sound.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, it is. Un momento Portofe.
[00:25:11] Speaker B: More D and D. Your easy listening hag fighting station. Around here, we like to keep things nice and mellow.
Except for when things are awful.
Oh, get him, Jackie.
Jackie, your hair is kind of like a teal right now. I like it.
It's like an aquamarine.
[00:25:32] Speaker C: Thank you. The red faded into a purple, and now it's all weird, but I don't.
[00:25:38] Speaker B: Know, it looks kind of cool. I dig it.
[00:25:39] Speaker C: Thank.
[00:25:52] Speaker B: You.
[00:25:52] Speaker A: 34.
[00:25:53] Speaker B: 34 points of damage.
[00:25:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: Okay.
All right, so that means that. Okay, Craig, how do you want to do this on the Bezorza best?
[00:26:07] Speaker A: Yes, please. Yes, please.
[00:26:10] Speaker B: How do you want to do it on the Bazor? Baz? Micah.
[00:26:13] Speaker A: Okay, so I.
Oh, man. I think that the.
While Meat Score did not possess me.
The rage that once was in Craig's body, that used to come up, and he was a barbarian in a different way, shows its face.
His muscles start to tense, and his body becomes, like.
It just tenses up. And just the rage that fills his veins and just him. It almost like looks like he's being controlled, but not by me Score.
And he looks like a puppet as he brings up the sword and just chops off the. The Bezorzal bass head.
[00:26:59] Speaker B: Oh, absolutely, Micah.
Craig, so many emotions possess you in this moment.
So much pain that belongs here. And that doesn't you feel the deep seated anger and resentment you have toward this villainous figure who has harmed you for no other reason than her gang. You feel the anger you have felt against all of the villains who have, I mean, not villains in a story sense, real enemies. All the foes who have just from their own pain and hate resolved to harm you and the people you love. You think of Miscore and you think of the Count and. And you think of the. Of the bloodied one and you think of the Kefkans and you think of everyone who has caused you and wanted you harm. And in this moment, after Bizorzal Baz beats his fist on the shield, you take your shield and you bash up against it with your 20 strength matching its power. And you roll the shield over on your left arm, pushing it down. And as it staggers forward, it's just one clean motion as your blade gleams with light, you.
And as you bring the sword forward.
And there is this moment of silence in the shop as there is this of sand hitting the bookshelf and falling down before the huge head, the size almost of your own body. Craig with the small humanoid head, but the immense like oh word for horn. Equine. Equine neck falls to the floor and the Bezorza bass where it is on the floor. The jaw moves one last time and it goes.
And this pile of sand and the body falls down and sand before the entire thing turns to sand.
As a small note, this little part of the shop right here is going to become difficult terrain.
[00:29:03] Speaker A: I was wondering.
[00:29:08] Speaker B: I mean, you know, it's just half moving through this little space. That's it. It's not like some lethal trap or something, but just from the area where it has died.
It's scary now filled with like, like six inches of sand. Like a huge pile of sand that rises up in the middle. So that's now going to be a little tougher to move through. But Craig, the Bezorza bats is dead.
Anything else on your turn, my guy?
[00:29:42] Speaker A: I.
I can't think of anything, so I'm just gonna move it to the next round of combat. Excellent.
[00:29:49] Speaker B: Next turn, you are up. The bizarre Baz is out of combat. So that means that hello and Greta are in deck after.
So.
[00:29:58] Speaker C: It's me.
[00:29:59] Speaker B: Bro.
[00:29:59] Speaker C: Bro, what are you doing okay?
I am okay. What are the. The rings on me? Nothing's restricting me, right? Those are just like freedom of movement.
[00:30:11] Speaker B: Yes, it is marking how unrestricted you are.
[00:30:15] Speaker A: I have a.
[00:30:15] Speaker B: Things cannot.
[00:30:16] Speaker C: I have a technical Question. I do not remember the rule on this.
If you.
If you cast something that's concentration while you're concentrating, does that make the other one stop?
[00:30:29] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:30:31] Speaker C: Well, I'm gonna do it anyway.
It might be a bad idea.
[00:30:36] Speaker B: Sometimes you got to do some bad ideas.
[00:30:38] Speaker C: Yeah. You know, I am going to.
Ro is frustrated that we can't find this lady. So she's gonna polymorph into.
And I'm gonna put it into the chat or into Rose. Chat. She's gonna polymorph into an owl.
It's like a dark, black, deep owl. And it rose purple eyes and gorgeous. Going to fly up just. She's just gonna keep flying and.
[00:31:14] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:31:15] Speaker C: Owls have keen hearing in sight advantage on perception checks. So, yeah, she's gonna try and find me.
[00:31:28] Speaker B: I'm going to. I'm going to take the magical effect ring off now. Now you are still freedom of movement.
[00:31:33] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:33] Speaker B: So you still have that.
But I'm just going to replace it by. I'm going to put you on this marker. So you are now flying up high. Right. So you're on the flying and I'm going to put your concentrating. You still have the benefits of the other ring. I'll put it next to the. Yeah.
How high up do you fly?
[00:31:56] Speaker C: I think a fly up into like. Because like you said from where we are, it like you. We can kind of see and then all of a sudden it's just dark.
[00:32:06] Speaker B: Everything gets really dark after 15ft.
[00:32:10] Speaker C: So I would go.
I would. I would fly about, I guess about like 15ft to try and. And like then fly around.
[00:32:24] Speaker B: Lando, that's a really good heads up. Thank you for the message on that.
[00:32:29] Speaker C: I saw that too. That was part of my thing.
[00:32:31] Speaker B: Ro, as you. What does it look like as you. Polymorph.
[00:32:34] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:32:36] Speaker C: So she slings one of her loots around. Doesn't matter which one on this one. And she just plays like. I feel like with Polymorph she's gotten really, like, quick at it for flavoring. And she just plays like a simple, like, riff, like, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo. And then it like, as it does just like engulfs her and like in purple. And then all that's left, like on the ground is like a little black feather from like the owl.
[00:33:07] Speaker B: Heck, yeah.
[00:33:08] Speaker C: And now she's like, like flapping her wings like she's the owl. And she just like shoots up like.
[00:33:13] Speaker B: The smoke of a performance at concert. You emerge from it and there is no sound as you fly upward into the darkness. Ro. You come 15ft up, and there's just this, like, penetrating dark. You can't move through. Do you go a little higher?
[00:33:27] Speaker C: You said I can't move through or.
[00:33:29] Speaker B: You can't see through? Excuse me.
[00:33:31] Speaker C: Okay. I was like. Does it just like.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: It's like a shadow, and as you move upward, you expect the shadow to thin or to relieve, but it doesn't. It strikes you that this might be a magical darkness, more than just an absence of light. Do you fly up a little further to see into it?
[00:33:46] Speaker C: I think instead of flying up further, I would fly, like, once I kind of get to that, I would go to what was. It was towards the left that we heard the scuttling. Right. I think I would fly in that direction.
[00:34:00] Speaker B: Okay. All right. You've heard. You've heard numerous directions of scuttling.
[00:34:04] Speaker C: Oh, okay.
I think it would be more towards.
[00:34:09] Speaker B: Give me a perception check with rose stats, A retroactive person with rose stats.
[00:34:12] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:34:13] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
For what you would have directionally heard earlier.
[00:34:18] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: I think I might have, but I don't remember what the role was. So that is a 22.
[00:34:32] Speaker B: Okay. I don't know about you.
You felt at first as though. I'm gonna point at the map. As though at first it was coming from this way where my pen cap is facing.
But then earlier when there was more scuttling, again, feel like it moved this way where my pen cap is facing.
[00:34:50] Speaker C: Okay. Then I would fly in that direction. Yeah.
[00:34:54] Speaker B: Okay. So you glide. You've gone 20ft up.
I don't know how much flying movement you have as an owl. Are you flying now or 15ft up? Excuse me.
[00:35:05] Speaker C: I have 60ft. Fly.
[00:35:07] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:35:08] Speaker C: Where do you move?
[00:35:09] Speaker B: How. How. How many feet this way do you move? How many feet toward the door?
[00:35:13] Speaker C: I would say, like 30.
Okay, wait, how much? So I went up. 20.
[00:35:19] Speaker A: 15.
[00:35:19] Speaker B: 20 will put you.
[00:35:21] Speaker E: Why is your wings near the door?
[00:35:24] Speaker B: I mean, she's a. She's an owl, so, like, two or three feet.
[00:35:28] Speaker C: I'm.
[00:35:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:35:28] Speaker B: It's not a giant owl. It's just.
[00:35:30] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. I would go right there. Yeah.
[00:35:34] Speaker E: If you're flying in the middle.
[00:35:38] Speaker B: So Ro. As you. As you like, glide and flap. You move around. You haven't run into anything yet, but you're still right below that layer of darkness. You don't see her. You can't penetrate your vision through that darkness.
[00:35:49] Speaker C: Yeah.
Okay. I'm gonna. I'm gonna go. I still have 15ft or I still have 20ft.
I went 20 to 30. Oh, I have 10ft.
[00:35:59] Speaker B: 30 you still have another 30. Oh, you've used. You've used 15. No, 15 then 20. You've used 35. You still have 15.
[00:36:07] Speaker C: 20.
[00:36:07] Speaker B: Yeah, 25. Oh, my goodness.
[00:36:11] Speaker C: I would like to go up another five. Like 15 this.
Let's do 10ft. Yeah.
[00:36:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:36:22] Speaker C: I know that's hard to.
[00:36:23] Speaker A: Sorry.
[00:36:24] Speaker B: You give a hard. You give a hard wing flap. And as you up into the dark, all of a sudden as you move up, everything below you moves into, like, grayscale. As. It's like you've been swallowed up by this shadow. It's like you've moved across some sort of an impermeable bear. And already the Cold Shop gang gets frigid. You move up through this dark and everything gets so cold and you feel as though you're in a whole different environment all of a sudden. And when you look down, you can see your party and all the sound is very slightly muffled. You feel all of a sudden as though you're much further above them. You know you're not, but. And as you move up, you can feel you brush lightly against more. More shelves on one side, as if Miscor could climb up into the darkness and retrieve more items from the dark. But you still don't run into a ceiling.
And there in the darkness, you don't have any.
As you pass that layer, now you're just looking in pitch black, but you've crossed this layer. Now that you're on the other side, you have the potential for making this perception check.
Okay, could you give me. You're in magical darkness, but you have advantage on. On perception checks. So this is not a roll at disadvantage, just a flat roll.
So just a perception check with the. With the owl's step.
[00:37:52] Speaker C: With the owl.
[00:37:52] Speaker B: Stop.
[00:37:55] Speaker C: Where is your.
Was it at 20?
I rolled it at 20.
I rolled a. Not 20.
And perception for Alers plus three. So a 23.
[00:38:15] Speaker B: Okay, on the second NAT20 of the session, you guys rose. You turn your wings slightly and in a dark, huddled mass directly next to you, literally in the space right behind you, with dark cloaks shredded in fabric hanging down from her. Her elongated limbs. Now you can see them stretching out to a length of seven or eight feet in each direction. Her long fingers with their three or four digits in each of them. Her claws digging into the wood.
Standing up there, her eyes look up at you and they catch a little bit of the fire from below, glinting her tapetum lucidum. And this long, wicked smile moves and she just whispers, hello, Ro.
And in the darkness, you are face to face.
[00:39:17] Speaker C: Okay, I have a question. Question. You said she's right behind me. Is she closer to the door or the other side? What?
[00:39:23] Speaker B: Like, where is she between you and the door?
[00:39:25] Speaker C: She's like, right, okay, here, like, in the little corner. She's just, like, chilling in the corner. Okay, Okay. I can. I still have an action, right? Like, that was just all my move.
[00:39:36] Speaker B: You used your action to Polymorph.
[00:39:37] Speaker C: That's right.
[00:39:38] Speaker A: Duh.
[00:39:39] Speaker C: That's right. Okay.
Sorry. I was just making sure that this isn't a bonus action to attack with talons, but I don't think it is melee.
No, it's an action that is so.
[00:39:54] Speaker B: Wild that you flew to that exact point.
[00:39:55] Speaker C: I was like, that is. Okay, I guess that is literally all. And, you know, I have. How much more. How much movement do I have left?
You have another 10ft.
[00:40:11] Speaker B: You have another 10ft.
[00:40:13] Speaker C: I'm gonna. I'm gonna back. I'm gonna fly. I'm gonna back up 10ft. And she can't opportunity attack with me.
[00:40:20] Speaker B: And as an arm rips out through the darkness, grabs at you. You just dip beneath her with her wings and row. Those fingers go like they graze the feathers on your head. And this chill runs down your bird's spine. You're just like.
As you fly, you glide further away into the darkness. You're just like.
And from down below, the shadow, the Berzorzo bass has died. Ro played a tune. She turned into an owl, flew up, and she flew up, glided a little bit, and then soared up into the black. And you all just lost her.
[00:40:52] Speaker C: Oh, man.
[00:40:53] Speaker B: Disappeared. And then from another 10ft this way, a little bit of bird poop just hits the floor of the shop.
[00:41:01] Speaker C: I did that on purpose to warn them where I was there.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: Oh, okay. A little bit of bird poop landed right here. That's excellent.
Okay, excellent. Next up in Initiative. Actually, you know what? Let's get some legendary actions going. At the end of Rose Turn, Miscore is going to use all three legendary actions on another blood curdle.
So I need another Charisma saving throw. Greta.
Sorry. You're the only target she can pick for this because you were like, here's my blood. So.
[00:41:39] Speaker E: Yeah, forgot about charisma.
[00:41:42] Speaker B: You said charisma. I said, Okay, the KPDA orange juice is growing on me. It's better mixed with coffee. It's not good. This would have been better with, like, a.
Well, it would have been better as a mimosa, but here we are.
[00:42:04] Speaker E: I am going to use my pergam okay.
[00:42:11] Speaker B: Thank you for informing me.
[00:42:12] Speaker E: Karishma.
[00:42:15] Speaker B: Karishma.
I don't know why that's funny.
[00:42:20] Speaker E: I'm actually going to use my inspiration also.
[00:42:23] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:42:25] Speaker E: I wish I had.
[00:42:25] Speaker B: Hey, that might not be a bad idea.
[00:42:27] Speaker E: Oh, okay. That's all right. It's a 18.
[00:42:34] Speaker B: Greta with a DC 16.
You are not blood curdled.
Oh, that was good.
That would have been another 8D6, buddy.
[00:42:49] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:42:49] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:42:50] Speaker B: You hear that? You hear the whisper in your ear, Greta?
You think you freed yourself?
Let's hear it, babe.
You never get out.
And as you feel the shiver down your spine, how do you resist this message as your blood freezes?
[00:43:09] Speaker E: I think she, like, scrunches up her eyes really tight and she, like, tries. She recalls, like, first you were. She's like, oh. It's like a moment and it like, all flashes and she's like. She pictures Walter's face. She pictures, like, hello's face. He pictures, like, the. The peace in the temple of Ioun. And then, like, she's like, picturing. She's like. It's like a speed run of self soothing. And she, like, pictures all these things and then, like, she, like, lets out a breath and she just, like, the picture of, like, the. The leaf falling in the forest just like, fills her. Her mind and her vision. And I would love to flavor that. It, like, she, like, lets that breath and she sees that, like, golden leaf falling, and it's like the maker, like, just put that in front of her eyes.
If I can flavor it that way.
[00:43:55] Speaker B: So, Abby, I really freaking loved that.
As Greta breathes out, you open your eyes and Greta in front of you in the shop.
[00:44:10] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:44:11] Speaker B: Lands a real physical leaf in front of you.
[00:44:14] Speaker E: Yeah. Oh, wow.
[00:44:16] Speaker B: You breathe out. You feel this confidence.
[00:44:20] Speaker D: No.
[00:44:22] Speaker B: She doesn't know you anymore.
[00:44:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:44:24] Speaker E: It's in the past.
[00:44:26] Speaker B: That's awesome.
What's Tello doing?
[00:44:30] Speaker E: Okay, Tello, dm. I would. Can I ask some clarifying questions on a spell before I.
Okay.
You might answer.
You might. You don't know. But.
[00:44:47] Speaker B: What.
[00:44:48] Speaker E: Okay, so I'm looking at the spell and antagonize.
It's from the Book of Many Things. Is that.
Is that a good spell?
[00:44:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:44:59] Speaker E: Okay. You whisper magical words that antagonize one creature of choice within range. And the range is 30ft.
So I'm just wondering is if that. To me, that reads like I. He doesn't have to see her. Is that. Am I reading that correctly?
[00:45:18] Speaker B: The Book of Many Things. Okay, sorry, real quick.
Book of Many Things.
I feel like I've Heard of this.
[00:45:25] Speaker C: It's like the. It's from the. It's the same as, like, a deck of many things, right? Or am I crazy wrong?
[00:45:30] Speaker B: Yeah. No, girl. This is Wizards of the Coast. This is official. Yeah. Okay. Sorry. Excellent.
Sorry.
[00:45:37] Speaker E: This says on a failed save, the Target must take 4d4 psychic damage almost immediately. Use its reaction to make a male.
Never mind. I just answered my own question. Just to clarify, since it's a melee attack and no one's in her range, we're safe. Am I correct in.
[00:45:59] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:46:00] Speaker E: Okay. Yes, I.
Okay, then Tello is gonna cast antagonize.
[00:46:09] Speaker B: Excellent. Okay. Wisdom saving throw.
[00:46:11] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:46:13] Speaker B: Okay. She is unfortunately, fairly good at this.
[00:46:15] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm gonna say that. I'm gonna say that, like, because I.
[00:46:20] Speaker C: Don'T think he's ever met her, has he?
[00:46:23] Speaker B: No. Yeah. Tello's never met this lady.
[00:46:26] Speaker E: He hasn't met her. He can't see her. So he's just gonna, like. Like, in his mind, he's as. He's, like, got his wrong sound. I think that's how he cast. He's just gonna be like, oh, thank you. He's just gonna, like, like, focus on, like, his, like, friends and, like, everything that he's said about that they've said about him. Her, and just, like, just. Yeah, yeah.
[00:46:52] Speaker B: Excellent.
As Cello pulls out the spindle and whispers, what is his spell save DC?
[00:46:57] Speaker E: A 16.
[00:46:59] Speaker B: Okay, I got double matching 25s.
So Estello whispers up. He, like. He starts whispering in Selvan with his spindle. Like there's sweat dappled on his brow. And he's so nervous, there's bone fragments all around him, and he just goes.
And before he can finish his words, he chokes a little bit and coughs. And no one else can hear this, but in his head, he just hears.
That was adorable.
And.
But he tried. Anything else from Tello's turn?
[00:47:35] Speaker E: Bonus action. Hide, baby.
[00:47:36] Speaker A: What do you think?
[00:47:40] Speaker E: Oh, yeah.
[00:47:43] Speaker B: Remember, it's a real high DC to successfully hide in here.
[00:47:46] Speaker E: I know, but he's a real sneaky guy.
[00:47:52] Speaker D: Is it possible to hide against something that is true sight?
[00:47:56] Speaker B: Maybe not, but he can try.
[00:47:58] Speaker E: That's a 28.
[00:48:01] Speaker B: Excellent.
Lando may have pointed something out, but he feels very hidden.
[00:48:07] Speaker E: Good, good.
[00:48:08] Speaker B: Yep.
Inside of a crate. And whips a blanket over him. And underneath the blanket, he's like, I kneel that. And he feels very hidden.
[00:48:17] Speaker A: Can I say that?
[00:48:18] Speaker E: He like, it's like a cartoon. Like, it's like a cartoon, like diving into a box of crates.
[00:48:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:48:25] Speaker B: I love it.
Okay, Greta, you're up.
[00:48:33] Speaker E: Is she's like feeling real pious today, guys. She's feeling real clericalicious. And she's gonna cast mass cure wound on the party. Not on Madam E. Score.
[00:48:48] Speaker B: Mass cure wounds, Abby.
[00:48:51] Speaker E: Yeah, girl.
[00:48:53] Speaker B: Let us go.
[00:48:55] Speaker E: That's 3d8 plus 6 healing well. Roll it.
[00:48:59] Speaker A: I'm also gonna roll.
[00:49:00] Speaker E: Oh, I roll it.
[00:49:02] Speaker B: And this. This is how little Abby has healed this campaign. She didn't know that she had to roll a spell.
How little Abby has healed other characters.
[00:49:16] Speaker A: Why? When. When Jackie be sick.
[00:49:20] Speaker B: That's so funny.
[00:49:22] Speaker E: Dm. I'd like to ask you to stop.
Abby has healed a lot.
[00:49:28] Speaker A: She just also has other powers she uses.
I still forget. I still forget how to do image.
So I have to relearn every time.
[00:49:41] Speaker B: I'm sorry. That's just really funny.
[00:49:43] Speaker E: That is a 14.
[00:49:48] Speaker B: 14 points. That's not bad for everyone.
[00:49:51] Speaker C: Okay, do I get that as an as in owl hit points or in row hit points?
[00:49:58] Speaker E: I give it to.
[00:50:01] Speaker B: That.
[00:50:02] Speaker C: Can I give it to Rohit already?
[00:50:04] Speaker B: At your maximum in the form you're in, you cannot heal higher. I'm sorry.
[00:50:08] Speaker E: Oh, I'm sorry, Ro.
[00:50:10] Speaker C: It's okay.
Wait, it means what?
Wait, so I don't. I don't add it to anything?
[00:50:19] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:50:20] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:50:20] Speaker B: If you were down points in your. In your OWL form, you'd gain.
[00:50:23] Speaker C: I can't have a buff owl. How dare you.
[00:50:29] Speaker E: I would also like to.
I think I'm.
I think I'm also going to.
I think I'm also going to give myself my healing potion.
[00:50:42] Speaker B: Okay. As a bonus action. Absolutely. So you, Greta, what does it look like as you cast mass cure wounds for the first time in your life?
[00:50:53] Speaker E: I think she's just going to like crouch through down into like a battle crouch and like put her fingers on the floor. Like just palms flat on the floor and just like a green. A gold green light like spreads out over the floor and it like goes in lines. Like a little string of magic goes across the floor and then pools at each party member's feet.
[00:51:15] Speaker B: Abby, that's really. Girl, you're going so hard. I'm trying not to give out a bunch of inspiration so early in the session, but that was awesome, dude. So to be clear, not anyone right now. I'm trying to limit how much I'm doing that, but that was sick. That was really cool.
[00:51:27] Speaker E: Honorary inspiration.
[00:51:28] Speaker B: It's inspiration worthy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what? That feels very tough from Avatar. I love that.
As you squat down and press your hands on the floor that. That third eye appears over your head, and you just whisper. And all of you feel this. This cool, like, relief as. As vitality comes back into you and wounds unknit themselves. And when Greta heals you, it's. It's like you all feel this assurance. It's like you are both being physically healed. But where Rose healing feels emotional and courageous, and Boz's feeling feels like this healing feels like this connection to nature, and Craig's feels like the strength of his assurance and presence and the presence of the maker. Greta's healing from Ioun feels like you. You physically feel better. But then in your mind, it's like you are being reassured of an important truth, something that you know is true as it comes to love.
[00:52:20] Speaker C: That.
[00:52:21] Speaker A: Oh, that's.
[00:52:21] Speaker E: I like that so much.
[00:52:24] Speaker B: Okay, Everybody take their 14 points except for RO and.
Sorry, just clarify.
We go up to the top of initiative in our fourth round of combat, and I need somebody to roll me a D4 for a layer action.
[00:52:41] Speaker C: No, if nobody rolls it, you can't do it.
[00:52:44] Speaker B: Okay, I also have a D4.
[00:52:49] Speaker C: I'll do it.
[00:52:50] Speaker B: I'm just like, oh, they got me.
[00:52:51] Speaker C: I'll do it.
A three.
[00:52:57] Speaker B: You rolled it a three?
[00:52:58] Speaker C: Yeah, three.
[00:53:03] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
With a three. We haven't gotten this one yet. Hey, way to roll something new. That's sick.
Soul flame goes off and so really large, floating.
I said candelabras. They're chandeliers. Wooden chandeliers. Very rough. They're not beautiful looking. They look. They look old and rotted where they float in the air and rotate. All of the candles on them flicker with flame, and this orange flame bursts from each of them. And all of you all feel this in your chest as you all stumble. I need everybody to make charisma saving throws as a reminder. Boz and Craig have. Have advantage on this.
And because of Craig's aura.
Ten feet, Boz. And no, no. Excuse me. Only Greta gets a place plus one to this as well.
[00:53:55] Speaker E: Oh, thank you.
[00:53:56] Speaker C: And I roll as my owl stats correct.
Charisma.
[00:54:02] Speaker E: Charisma.
[00:54:04] Speaker D: 19.
[00:54:05] Speaker E: I also got a 19.
[00:54:08] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:54:10] Speaker C: This is unfortunate.
[00:54:11] Speaker E: Thank you for the plus one, Micah.
[00:54:14] Speaker A: You're welcome.
[00:54:15] Speaker B: What did tell him?
[00:54:17] Speaker E: Oh, I forgot about him. What? Boy.
[00:54:21] Speaker B: Seven now, aren't you're proficient in charisma saving throws now as a paladin, right?
You're proficient in charisma saving throws as a paladin, right?
[00:54:35] Speaker A: Am I?
[00:54:39] Speaker B: Oh, Mickel, that's a big one. You sure are.
Sure. Are you?
You are proficient in prison throws. This is a paladin.
[00:54:49] Speaker E: Wait, okay. Damn. I got a.
I got a.
[00:54:58] Speaker A: I.
[00:54:59] Speaker E: Got a 23 with.
[00:55:01] Speaker B: With Tello.
[00:55:03] Speaker E: No, no, no. I got a 23. I didn't add my proficiency.
[00:55:07] Speaker A: Okay, so I have a 12.
[00:55:10] Speaker B: Okay, okay, okay, okay. Which isn't going to save, but I really needed you to know that you had proficiency in a charisma saving throw. That's super important.
[00:55:21] Speaker C: Okay, I just. I just want to let it be known that if. If it was Roe, this would have been a dirty 20. But as row, it's a seven.
[00:55:34] Speaker B: Oh, buddy.
[00:55:36] Speaker C: Why do they got minus two and what tello get?
[00:55:40] Speaker E: I don't know.
Okay, I think. I think.
[00:55:48] Speaker B: What's that?
[00:55:49] Speaker E: I'm sorry. You know, if he's proficient in charisma.
[00:55:54] Speaker B: It'S just his charisma mod.
[00:55:56] Speaker E: No, it's just not proficient in charisma.
[00:55:59] Speaker B: No rogues or not.
[00:56:00] Speaker E: Okay, he was at one point, so I don't know why.
[00:56:05] Speaker C: Because he's telo.
[00:56:06] Speaker E: He got a 16.
[00:56:08] Speaker B: Okay, so as the Soul Flame reaches out, Tello, Greta and Boz. Tello just resists. Everyone all just resists to save dc Each with magic's glaring, protecting you.
Rowan, Craig, not so much.
So I'm gonna roll.
[00:56:33] Speaker C: Concentration.
Roll two.
[00:56:36] Speaker B: Oh, don't worry about that.
[00:56:39] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:56:41] Speaker B: Because you're gonna take enough damage. It doesn't matter.
[00:56:43] Speaker C: Well, you have to say, because you're gonna die. Because that's what it felt like. And then you move.
[00:56:48] Speaker B: Take enough damage.
Okay.
Oh, also, as a note. Sorry, I need to say this. Greta, Boz, and Tello, I'd like for those three characters to record. They are immune to this effect for the now. For the next 24 hours now. So if this happens again, those three characters are immune to it.
So Soul Flame. Soul Flame. The Soul flame layer action.
Ro and Craig, you all both take eight. 11 points of damage.
Well, actually, you don't take 11 points of damage. Your HP max is reduced by 11.
Craig, your maximum HP goes down by 11.
[00:57:40] Speaker A: No, no, no, no.
[00:57:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:57:44] Speaker C: No.
[00:57:45] Speaker B: As a note, Micah would like you to record somewhere that this is not changing your permanent HP outside of the session. Right. For today, these 24 hours, Craig's match max HP is 11 lower.
So hold on to that thought for the future. But should he survive this encounter, this won't come back. But today, he cannot heal higher than 11 lower than what he. He just had as a total.
[00:58:12] Speaker A: So I thought you.
[00:58:14] Speaker B: It was like minute that one transforms you out of your owl form because you have one hit point then the remaining 10 are moved to you as a HP max reduction. You are no longer concentrating on your spell, but you are still freedom of movemented.
Then you're going to fall straight to the floor.
25ft.
[00:58:40] Speaker C: But I have freedom of movement.
What does that do? Does that help?
[00:58:45] Speaker B: Gravity.
[00:58:45] Speaker C: It's freedom of fog.
[00:58:47] Speaker B: So you also take another five points.
[00:58:50] Speaker C: Can I do a reaction?
[00:58:52] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:58:55] Speaker C: Can I.
What am I trying to say?
[00:59:03] Speaker B: This has. This has been big. This has been when Yepen was killing you and you were like, wait, wait, I have healing. And it's like, jackie, it's over.
[00:59:10] Speaker C: Well, no, I was thinking of using wings.
[00:59:14] Speaker B: That's. That buffs your ace.
[00:59:16] Speaker C: That wouldn't help. Oh, okay then. No.
[00:59:20] Speaker B: So as the. From where you are, Craig, it's like life gets pulled out from you to the flames if. As if they absorb it and then go back to burn. Oh, maybe that's what these candles burn on souls.
And then darkness. Ro just.
From the shadows above. Ro just.
It's the grab. She disappeared as an owl. She comes back down as Ro from the darkness. And Kabam hits the wood and there's just this really bad like, sound. And then Ro gets up and her nose is bleeding and there's blood go down her face. Face. But there she is over there.
[00:59:59] Speaker C: And so just a. Just a real quick Note. So it's minus 10. Do I minus that from my hit points or it's just I can't go your HP max. Yeah, but if you're looking, if you're.
[01:00:13] Speaker B: Lower than your max, it's not taken away. But your max is 10 low.
[01:00:16] Speaker C: Okay, got you.
[01:00:17] Speaker A: Got you.
[01:00:19] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:00:20] Speaker B: Okay. Excellent. So that's the layer action. Top vid initiative, boss. What are you doing?
[01:00:26] Speaker D: So Boz is.
[01:00:31] Speaker B: Oof.
[01:00:32] Speaker D: Oofy doofy. Zach.
That's gonna be a big oofy doofy for me.
[01:00:41] Speaker B: Oh.
[01:00:44] Speaker D: Is this a bad time for me to reveal the thing, Zachary?
[01:00:49] Speaker B: I don't know.
[01:00:50] Speaker D: Were you secretly working for me square the whole time?
[01:00:54] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:00:56] Speaker D: Micah's face. I knew she was gonna be the only one that made a face, which is hilarious.
No, I'm just trying to buy time while I figure out what the heck I want to do.
Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna use dispel magic as a fifth level spell on the darkness to see if it has any effect.
[01:01:11] Speaker C: Let.
[01:01:15] Speaker E: It looks like.
[01:01:16] Speaker B: Landon, I'll never really get tired of you doing something deeply unexpected in D.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: And D.
Okay.
[01:01:28] Speaker B: I don't.
Landon. I come into these Sessions thinking. I've thought of it all. I don't.
What is that?
[01:01:37] Speaker E: My favorite thing is that going like.
[01:01:39] Speaker A: This.
[01:01:41] Speaker E: And I'm like this.
[01:01:44] Speaker B: I love that. I'm never going to get tired of that interaction where Landon's like. And I'm like, I love D and D. Dispel magic. Okay, Okay, okay, okay. Let me read for a second more.
Okay, so now I need to go. Need.
Okay, okay, okay.
[01:02:14] Speaker D: So if it. If it's not automatically dispelled, I have to roll a dice. So just. If it doesn't just go away, I.
[01:02:20] Speaker B: Am going to let me know, Right? I was thinking of something else.
Well, here's the thing.
It's not like there is no 5e spell called magic Magical darkness.
But sealing shadows is not a fighting spell. However, I was. I was taking a look at darkness and at dispel magic and postulating in my brainular what level and power of magic would.
So go ahead and. Go ahead and roll. I have decided in my head what the DC is. So go ahead and roll. So it's 10 plus your wisdom on modifier, right?
[01:02:59] Speaker D: No, the DC, if it's a level spell is 10 plus the level of the spell. And I roll with my wisdom modifier.
[01:03:07] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:03:07] Speaker B: That was stupid. Yeah. Okay. Go ahead and roll. That's dumb.
[01:03:12] Speaker D: All right, I got a 23.
[01:03:18] Speaker B: Well, I loved the little satisfaction in your voice just then.
Wait, wait.
[01:03:23] Speaker D: Let me roll my per diem. Let me roll my per diem.
It's a D4, right?
[01:03:28] Speaker B: Yes, sir. Yeah.
[01:03:32] Speaker D: That is a 25.
[01:03:34] Speaker B: 25.
You know what's funnier than 24? Do anything. Pause.
What does it look like as you try to dispel this magic?
He.
[01:03:51] Speaker D: Flashes green and tries to, like, like, send, like, green light up there. Let's like. Like, like, like acidically eating away at darkness. This is what he's trying to do. Like, emanating from, like, the little glimpse of the stone in his body.
[01:04:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:04:04] Speaker B: Yes, yes. From your very sparkly, sparkly skin of a killer.
[01:04:09] Speaker D: Oh, no. He takes the flow. Okay, okay, here's what. Here. Here's what happens. Here's what happened.
[01:04:12] Speaker B: The little.
[01:04:12] Speaker D: The little light. The little fires, like, do their flash, and it, like, goes into him and reflects off of the stone in his skin. And then, like, jumps back at, like, the dark parts of the ceiling.
[01:04:23] Speaker B: And as that green, golden light shines upward, Boz. For a moment, all of the shadow in the shop dissipates and you all can see Madame Niscor right here. Can you guys see her on the Map where I have it.
[01:04:41] Speaker C: In her own little corner in her own little chair.
[01:04:46] Speaker B: There she is. You all can see her. She's 20ft up, like held up in the. In the rafters.
[01:04:55] Speaker C: Is she like.
[01:04:57] Speaker B: No, no, she's like holding.
Her long limbs are holding. Oh, she's like climbed up there like a spider. Yeah, gross.
So she's up there pinning herself up and for now the shadow is all gone. Now, you don't know if it's gonna stay that way, but you have overcome the enchantment because there's. It's hard to make an exact way from this. We're getting a bit loosey goosey. So all of the shadow in the shop is gone momentarily. And now, as you all can see. Oh, the ceiling goes up like 40ft.
And there she is in the darkness. Anything else on your turn, boss?
[01:05:33] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna bonus action. Vicious mockery.
[01:05:35] Speaker B: Her excellent wisdom saving throw.
[01:05:40] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna say you should dust more. It's nasty up there or something like that.
[01:05:47] Speaker B: Excellent. And from where she is up high, you just watch her go.
And her tongue like licks up from around. Around her lips and spittle falls down.
[01:05:55] Speaker C: Gross.
[01:05:57] Speaker B: Oh, she rolled really low, even with advantage.
But her modifier is good.
What's your spell safety? T. Lando, you're muted. This is the way. 19 she roll. Her highest roll on a die was 9. So she just fail.
So, boss, go ahead and roll your damage.
[01:06:27] Speaker D: She takes 12 points of damage. That's a solid vicious mockery roll.
[01:06:32] Speaker B: That is great. It's psychic damage.
[01:06:34] Speaker D: Yes, it is psychic damage. So it's I think resistant. Right. So that's half. So that's six.
But she also has disadvantage on her next attack roll.
[01:06:45] Speaker B: Yes. Okay. Okay. Excellent, Boz. As you say, you feel that it was the dispelling her magic much more than the insult that got her. But as you say, you need to dust more. She like her eyes dart around.
Okay, that's the end of Boz's turn.
So since now it is miscore's.
[01:07:09] Speaker A: It'S me score's turn.
[01:07:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:07:11] Speaker B: Yes. Yes. She's after Boz.
[01:07:15] Speaker A: When who. Who's before me?
[01:07:17] Speaker C: Me Score. You're after me score. Yeah.
[01:07:23] Speaker B: At the end of Boz's turn, she is going to use a legendary action right at the end of of her turn. And she is going to use vanish.
So from where she is, there's this puff of smoke and she just disappears.
[01:07:40] Speaker C: Dang it.
[01:07:40] Speaker B: And as she disappears, her illusory self at the back of the room just leans Forward and claws into her desk and hisses at you all, you're never gonna make it out of here alive.
And she is going to hold on.
She's going to appear now directly above you all in the center.
She just like appears in the bookshelf and a couple items turn fall down to the floor. Then she is going to use movement from. Yes, she's still 20ft up.
And now she is going to like scuttle. And now that you all can see her, oh, it's awful. She moves way too fast and sometimes like an arm will bend this way and then as it bends, that second joint in her forearm will bend as well. And no, because vas, she's not like, she's not positioned like a regular person like this. She's like leaning forward like an animal or a spider.
[01:08:35] Speaker A: Or a spider. So she's like kind of level.
[01:08:38] Speaker B: And then as she just scutters forward, items fall down around the shop. And she's going to go another 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40.
She'll go to here at least.
Yeah.
Okay, so now 20ft up over here, she still has two lizard reactions on this turn.
She is going to.
Sorry, a less maniacal laugh.
She whispers to herself in a hateful tongue. Listen.
And there's just this.
From where her fingers grip into the shop, you watch as you feel the whole shop sigh with pain.
And from out of the bookshelves and out of the floors a dark shadow raises up around you all. And she is going to cast the eighth level spell.
Maddening darkness.
Oh, which I've never, I think I've only seen cats in D and D once. So this is fun.
Oh, it's not. Player's Handbook. Dang it.
Now this is probably Tasha's.
Yeah. Okay, so yes, she is going to put it down right here.
So from this point a 60 foot radius sphere arises.
Everything to everything to here, Everything to there.
This dark sphere just fills the space. Now she's concentrating.
And as that dark shadow raises up around you all, as the shadow moves by you all, all of you hear whispers you'll never be able to protect. Your, your relatives are dead.
You think Yeti is going to survive.
And just thing after thing after all these personal whispers are coming up around you all so magical darkness spreads everywhere in the space. A creature with dark vision cannot see through this darkness. Non magical light as well as light created by spells of eighth level or lower cannot illuminate the area.
Shrieks, gibbering and mad laughter can be heard in the sphere.
Whenever you start your turn in the sphere, you all need to make a wisdom saving throw. Taking 8d8 psychic damage on a failed save or half as much on a success.
[01:11:40] Speaker C: Wait, what?
Excuse you.
[01:11:43] Speaker D: Hey, Zach.
I am. I have written down that I have resistance to psychic damage for some reason.
[01:11:52] Speaker E: Yes, I have that too. That's.
[01:11:55] Speaker D: What is that from? Because I remember that, but I don't. I can't.
[01:11:57] Speaker B: I believe you have that as. As part of your boon from the mad prince.
[01:12:01] Speaker E: I thought that was something Craig did.
[01:12:03] Speaker D: I think it's something Craig did because I don't have that as my mad prince.
[01:12:06] Speaker E: Is it Craig's aura?
[01:12:08] Speaker D: No. That keeps you from being frightened?
[01:12:11] Speaker B: If somebody can tell me what did that. Absolutely.
[01:12:14] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. Let me. Let me. I guess my turn doesn't start for a while, so I don't have to care about it.
[01:12:18] Speaker E: I wrote dm. I wrote movement because I. I wrote the wrong thing. But I wrote it down at the beginning of our session because you reminded us of it.
What, a resistance to psychic damage?
[01:12:31] Speaker D: Yeah, I really doubt.
[01:12:34] Speaker B: No, that's from Rose.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
[01:12:40] Speaker C: I'm so sorry.
[01:12:41] Speaker D: You have resistance to psychic damage because of the crack.
Yes, all of us.
[01:12:46] Speaker B: That's true. Nice.
[01:12:50] Speaker D: So whatever damage, you'll take half it.
[01:12:53] Speaker B: Okay, that's awesome.
[01:12:54] Speaker D: So it's like you automatically succeed the check, even if you fail.
[01:13:00] Speaker B: So that is the end of Miscore's turn, which is awesome.
So that's a good. Good catch. Land.
[01:13:06] Speaker C: Wait. Okay, hold on, though.
Just. Okay, I'm gonna be honest.
I'm gonna be the kid telling on myself.
I don't have that resistance to psychic damage.
[01:13:18] Speaker B: Okay, thank you. Thank you for your honesty.
[01:13:20] Speaker C: Yeah, when I did that. When I do that, it's just my allies. I don't get that. So I will take.
[01:13:26] Speaker B: I really, really, really, really appreciate the honesty, Jackie. For that honesty, on your next saving throw, give yourself a plus one.
That was really awesome. Okay, so, Craig, you begin your turn as the thick veiling darkness, whispering about your. Your parental failings and the danger your family is in. I need you to start by giving me a. A saving throw. I need you to give me a Wizdom saving draw, which you have advantage on because of Heroes Feast.
You have advantage and plus one.
[01:13:59] Speaker D: Wisdom, wisdom, Wisdom cup so bad, you guys. I was like, we gotta find this cup. I'm not gonna go. Fight me score without my cup.
[01:14:09] Speaker B: Hey, it's a. It's a good. Trying to find this girl's feast is an amazing spell.
[01:14:17] Speaker A: That's a 16.
[01:14:21] Speaker B: Okay, that is going to fail.
[01:14:24] Speaker A: Stinky sticky butt.
[01:14:28] Speaker B: But you have. That's a good sign of resistance.
That's a lot of damage.
[01:14:33] Speaker D: That's awkward.
[01:14:36] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:14:40] Speaker A: If it's 60, I'm screwed.
[01:14:45] Speaker C: 10.
[01:14:50] Speaker B: Eighteen, sixteen.
Three.
But then you have resistance. Oh, good time for resistance.
Craig. You only take 12 points of psychic damage.
So just 12 points. That's excellent. So you're down 12 psychic. You're the dark whispers in your ear and then I need to mark off that spell slot.
And then what are you doing at the rest of your turn? You are in complete darkness. You can see.
[01:15:25] Speaker A: So you cannot see it just kind.
[01:15:29] Speaker B: Of like at all?
[01:15:30] Speaker A: No. Where she land.
[01:15:36] Speaker B: Imagine it's all black and you're dark around you. You can't see.
[01:15:42] Speaker E: Dang it.
[01:15:42] Speaker A: Gosh dang it.
[01:15:44] Speaker B: Gosh darn it.
[01:15:48] Speaker A: I have divine sense. Does that help me?
[01:15:53] Speaker B: I can detect within a certain range of you. Yes.
Well, read me divine sense. Does it allow you to pinpoint the location or just know that they are.
[01:16:01] Speaker A: Around to detect forces?
Says as an action you can open your warning. It's to detect such forces until the end of your turn. You know the location of any celestial fiend undead within 60ft of me that is not behind total cover. So I know their location.
[01:16:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:16:20] Speaker D: So Craig.
[01:16:20] Speaker B: Yes.
Through the darkness you can sense your paladinic aura points. You. You feel this. Like this. Like this warmth on one side of you. Actually a. A sense of cold. And you can feel that she is up into your right ahead of you.
[01:16:37] Speaker A: So can I say that with the damage I received from the psychic, can I store that with. With refraction?
[01:16:46] Speaker B: You can, yes. You can use that on that or does refraction specify that it needs to be an aoe? Is it just any damage you take or is it AOE you gain the.
[01:16:55] Speaker A: Ability to redirect some amount of specific damages types which assail you toward other target.
When you are targeted by damage from a ranged attack, you may expend your reaction.
[01:17:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
Sadly, no.
If so, if this was like a.
Yeah. From a ranged attack spell or other ranged magical source, you may. Yeah. So this is like. Like.
Like. Like an area effect or like something comes at you and hits you, but this thing that's just happening in your head reflect fraction cannot contribute to. Sadly. I'm sorry.
[01:17:30] Speaker A: Okay, so I am just gonna do a little. Because it has to be ranged because I'm too far away, right?
[01:17:37] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. And she's 20ft up.
[01:17:41] Speaker A: Ranged attack with a star splinter. So I'll roll that dice twice.
[01:17:54] Speaker B: Now, do you have a number of times you can do that or. No?
No. For Star Splinter.
[01:18:02] Speaker A: Yes. It's three.
[01:18:04] Speaker B: Okay, so you're using.
[01:18:05] Speaker A: I don't think I had used it in this combat yet.
[01:18:08] Speaker B: No, you have, because.
[01:18:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:18:11] Speaker B: Okay, so you're using two of the three right now.
[01:18:14] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:18:17] Speaker B: What is the orb, Lando?
Yes, it is. From here to here, that's what those blue are. Blue lines I drew were so. Line here, line here, that's all the darkness. From here to here, it's all that.
Remember, you can always click on the map and zoom. Make it at the largest thing on your screen.
So it's right here and right here.
You could also think of it like the start of the bookshelf and then behind where she is right now.
Okay, Micah. Sorry, you were saying? So, all right, how about this? How about this? Instead of using two charges, how about try to hit her once, and if it doesn't work, do it again so you don't have to expend both at once also.
[01:19:06] Speaker A: Well, both. Both hit. I'm pretty sure. Unless I'm wrong.
[01:19:09] Speaker B: Is.
[01:19:10] Speaker A: Is this.
[01:19:11] Speaker B: Are you hitting or am I rolling a dexic?
[01:19:15] Speaker A: I'm rolling to hit, so I haven't told you the numbers yet.
[01:19:20] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm just making sure. I'm just making sure. That's also the case with the ranged attack. I think you're correct. I think you are. I'm just making one hundo. Percentee.
Yeah. Okay. No, no, no, you're right, you're right, you're right. Okay, so is it 27 and a what, Craig?
[01:19:35] Speaker A: 7 and a 20.
[01:19:36] Speaker B: 20 both will hit.
Okay, 27 and a 20 will. Both will hit.
[01:19:44] Speaker A: Okay, so now I have to go back to the. What the ranged is. Okay, so it's.
66 slashing and 2D 6 radiant times 2.
So I do it twice.
[01:20:00] Speaker B: So that is 12D 6 slashing plus 46 radio, which is a lot of damage, Micah. A lot of damage.
[01:20:10] Speaker A: Hey, hold on. Y' all do something.
[01:20:17] Speaker B: I'm reading your. I'm reading your.
If I need to roll a saving throw, just use a.
Okay.
[01:20:31] Speaker A: Landon.
[01:20:31] Speaker B: Landon said, I'm gonna grab some coffee, and he said, if I need to roll a saving throw, just use a 20. I don't know about that.
If I need to roll a saving throw, just use a number that generally passes things. I don't.
As Micah is doing a cubic butt ton of math. Any thoughts from any of the other players?
Oh, actually, I could. I could just go ahead and tell you after Craig's Turn row is on deck. And then it will be Tello and Greta again.
So just as a heads up, row, you're. You're up next. And then tell and you all are on deck, which means not going next. But after said that quite a bit, this campaign hopefully not sinking in. Guys, at every year since I was in high. Well, since I left for college, I've bought my. I've bought myself. That's Bought is not a word. I bought myself a little plastic tub of cheap Walmart vanilla icing, the cheapest brand. And I eat it over Christmas break because I love that.
And then this year, I did not want to. I was like, you know, I think I've finally gotten old enough where that does not sound appetizing to me anymore. I love icing, but that's just a little too much straight sugar. And I was like, I still want to give myself a treat. So I bought myself the white powdered donuts.
Just those cheap ones. They're so.
And I wrote from Santa to Zach, and I put it up in the cabinet. And then today when I got home from work when I was on break, I was like, thank you, Santa. And I took him out and started eating them, and I was like, oh, a.
And then I ate the entire thing.
[01:22:13] Speaker E: That's such a great.
[01:22:15] Speaker C: Yeah, I love that.
[01:22:16] Speaker E: That is the grown up version of a. Of a tub full of icing.
[01:22:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:22:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:22:22] Speaker C: I. I will still sometimes buy a tub of icing and eat on it.
[01:22:26] Speaker B: That's so good. I love sugar.
[01:22:27] Speaker C: It's just. But in. In the fridge and then it's cold and you get a spoonful.
[01:22:31] Speaker B: Oh, jle. Yes, dude.
All right.
[01:22:36] Speaker A: Personally, I'm not done yet.
[01:22:38] Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. That's.
[01:22:39] Speaker A: That's.
[01:22:40] Speaker E: Keep going.
[01:22:43] Speaker C: Diggle is here for good luck, y'.
[01:22:45] Speaker B: All.
[01:22:47] Speaker C: I just realized Diggle's name is Diggle and you call me Jipple and it kind of goes.
[01:22:57] Speaker B: Could you tell me when you're done? Tell me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Tell me when you're done.
You're done.
[01:23:03] Speaker A: No.
[01:23:04] Speaker B: Oh, no. Okay.
Mike is flexing on us right now.
Craig. There is a possibility that Craig will be the highest damage potential character any of us will play with. On in barely D and D. His damage ceiling, mathematically is pretty incredible.
It rivals a couple people in the warriors as well. It's really impressive.
[01:23:29] Speaker E: I love googling DND spells being like confusion and forgetting to put the 5e and then just getting confusion.
Like, I typed in. I typed in prayer of healing. And I was like, oh, that's not what I was looking for, but thank you.
[01:23:42] Speaker B: Someone was like, here's. Here's a snake oil thing. You're like, no, no, that's not what I.
[01:23:45] Speaker C: No, yeah, no, no.
[01:23:48] Speaker E: It was like. It was like a picture. Sorry.
[01:23:50] Speaker B: Do you. Do you have your number, Micah?
[01:23:53] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:23:54] Speaker B: Okay, you can just have your total. You do not need to separate the radiant and the slashing for me. Go ahead and write that total down for me. Just write it down somewhere.
[01:24:03] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:24:04] Speaker B: Okay.
I would like Craig to make a strategy check for me.
[01:24:09] Speaker A: Strategy is based off of what's possible intelligence. Oh, shoot.
[01:24:14] Speaker B: I'm gonna tell you ahead of time. This is DC11.
[01:24:22] Speaker A: Well, that's good, because I got a natural 20, and it's 21.
[01:24:27] Speaker B: Never mind. Forget deal breaker part two. This is Craig's very good day.
Dang, Micah, you're buffing the stats today.
Craig, you do remember that you can pump divine smites into the ranged attack as well?
And you remember that you can do it after you know whether or not you hit. So you could put the highest level divine smite you had on this if you wanted to. If you wanted to. If you still had your. What's your highest level spell slot.
[01:24:58] Speaker E: No, I haven't.
[01:24:59] Speaker A: I think I'm gonna do that.
[01:25:02] Speaker B: You could use your highest remaining level spell slot as a pump device.
[01:25:05] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Hold on one second while I do more math.
[01:25:09] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:25:10] Speaker E: What happened?
[01:25:11] Speaker B: I thought I was about to have diarrhea right now, but it's.
[01:25:14] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[01:25:15] Speaker B: It happens to me sometimes. Sometimes I will be somewhere and I'll be like, oh, it's now. It's right now. But no, we're okay.
[01:25:21] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:25:25] Speaker C: That'S called ibs, my brother.
[01:25:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I haven't been diagnosed, but, yeah, same.
What did you say, Abby?
[01:25:36] Speaker E: I don't know.
[01:25:38] Speaker B: I heard a comedian talking the other day about. He was this really funny bit where he was. He was talking about. He was like, you know, being a straight guy has a lot of privilege, but it actually has even more than people know. And he was like, I comes with powers. And he was like, there are things that don't affect straight men that affect other people. And he was like, like, ibs. Straight men don't have it. And then like, the crowd was like, what? And he was like, because, you know, we have it, but we don't know. And so he was just like, we don't go to the doctor. We don't get diagnosed for anything. So we're like, yeah, I don't have anything. And then we drink milk and crap our pants. And he's like, I don't. We don't have anything, though. And I was just like, brother, preach.
It was just funny. Anyway, did you pump in what. What level of Divine Smite did you use, Craig?
[01:26:22] Speaker A: I did it. My highest level. I think it's a fourth level.
[01:26:26] Speaker B: Okay, have you marked off your spell slot?
Michael, what's your total for this damage?
[01:26:33] Speaker A: 103.
Land Inspire thing.
[01:26:45] Speaker E: And I like, ruled.
[01:26:46] Speaker A: Okay. I rolled pretty good for a lot of them.
[01:26:49] Speaker C: Dang.
[01:26:52] Speaker B: That'S crazy. Micah, you have just set. Micah, you.
[01:27:00] Speaker A: Girl.
[01:27:02] Speaker B: You just set the New Accidental Adventures. Damn. The new barely DND damage record by more than 20 points.
Craig, what does it look like as you deal 103 damage with the range with. With the. The blade flying into shards out from Star Splinter and a Divine Smite and Boz's gold in First Flame. What does it look like as you deal 103 damage dealing the most campaign of the. The most damage of the entire Active Adventures campaign?
[01:27:35] Speaker A: So I. I think CRO Krog.
[01:27:41] Speaker B: Fling.
[01:27:43] Speaker A: Greg was like, facing where she used to be originally. But then I think he's gonna slowly.
[01:27:50] Speaker B: In the darkness.
[01:27:51] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:27:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
So he's gonna slowly turn around because he knows. He knows that she can see him.
She know he knows that, like, she can see him.
And he, like, slowly turns around in her direction and he goes, I think I can't see you. I think I can't sense you.
Something about it.
And.
And he like the sound because it's like. It's like quiet except for the whispering, but the sound of his sword kind of like moving through the air and just. He kind of lets it scrape against the shell and like the sound.
The sound of the shelves and the sword and how like, little sparks might come up from the, like, light in the sword on the shelf. But he's going to start swinging it around and it's going to break off and boomerang around the building and the gain traction and then go at her.
And I'm gonna say that, like, as it's doing that, the. The shards of it are catching like on fire.
And like the sound of it, it's like a screaming that overpowers the shadows because it's like the glass, you know how it kind of likes under a lot of heat when there's like a lot of pressure, it, like screeches a little bit.
So it's going to make that sound as it's flying over and overpower the lies and like Voices and the shadows.
[01:29:29] Speaker B: That's so. Okay, Micah. I don't know how else to say this. Dude.
[01:29:33] Speaker A: Sick.
[01:29:34] Speaker B: That's so cool.
Craig, in this moment where you are in the darkness, you turn your head and as you're. As you like, whisper in the. In the deepest speech and the many. The many tongues all at once, it's like golden flame emerges from your mouth as you speak and your eyes burn with fire. And as you turn around and you say that you think I can't see you. It comes in those many voices. You think I can't see. See, See, See. And all of you all hear that. And Craig, as you scrape your blade against the shop and you point it up at her, you become the monster haunting her. And as you swing the sword, all the. The blade shatters into all those fragments like it does. And they.
And as they whip around the shop, they start cutting up her shop.
Cutting through like breaking things and like items start falling towards floor. And as they're whipping around, they all light up with golden flame fire. And as they whip up in one final motion, they like. It's like their momentum cuts through the darkness and there's this momentary hole made in. And in that moment, you see her up on the bookshelf and you see fear on her face as she moves backward. They all.
And as they cut past her, some of them through her green and purple blood starts going around and she starts cutting on golden fire. And you all, everywhere in the shop hear.
She's shrieking in pain.
She's concentrating on the spell. But you just dealt 103 damage. Maintaining Concentration isn't possible.
And her eighth level spell.
Oh my gosh, disappears as the man falls away. And there's this burst of golden fire out from where Craig is standing that singes the wood of the shop. And you see Madam Miscore hanging up there covered in cuts, part of her robe cut away, blood pouring down from her, pooling below around the shop. And she hisses back at you.
She looks bloodied and she looks concerned and afraid.
Craig, that.
That's one of the coolest things that's ever happened in this campaign. That was so sick. That was awesome. Like a 103. Three damage.
That's crazy.
[01:32:03] Speaker C: Let's go, Craig.
[01:32:05] Speaker B: Phenomenal.
That's excellent. At the end of Craig's turn, what an unfortunate time for Abby to walk away. Abby, would you say that you're still in range and can you hear us?
Okay.
Okay, cool. At the end of Craig's turn, she's going to look down and she's to going to go.
I will rip the souls from every last one of you. And she's going to point at Greta again.
She's going to use her legendary actions again.
And she's going to do blood curd roll. I need another charisma saving throw. Greta.
[01:32:38] Speaker E: I need her to stop doing that.
[01:32:41] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:32:41] Speaker A: No.
[01:32:42] Speaker C: Does Greta not have resist?
[01:32:43] Speaker B: She'd be doing it on other people. But you're the one person who gave her your blood.
It's the only person this works on.
[01:32:52] Speaker E: You need a what from me.
[01:32:53] Speaker B: Charisma saving throw.
[01:33:02] Speaker E: That's enough.
[01:33:02] Speaker A: That was so fun, Micah.
[01:33:05] Speaker B: That was.
That's one of the coolest things I've seen in dnd. Dude, that was awesome. That was, man. Early campaign is so fun. And yes, late campaign can get dramatic and heavy, but. But man, some of these moments you can earn h.
That's sports is cool ammo. But sometimes the nerd game's pretty fun.
What you get Greta?
[01:33:29] Speaker E: I got a 12.
[01:33:33] Speaker B: That's so unfortunate. What a number to say as she points out to you. All of the veins in your body. Greta.
You all watch as Greta of convulses and varicose veins pump out of her face, her neck, her hands where they appear from her. You're gonna take 8D.
[01:33:48] Speaker A: Six.
[01:33:52] Speaker E: Is a low number. It's all right.
[01:33:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:34:04] Speaker B: Four though. I flicked it. Okay, so tell.
Okay, okay.
Okay.
27 points of necrotic damage.
[01:34:18] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:34:19] Speaker A: Is that psychic? No. Wait. No, that's different.
[01:34:25] Speaker B: Phenomenal. Okay, it's Rowena's turn. What are you doing?
[01:34:32] Speaker C: Do I.
Do I gotta do the damage?
[01:34:38] Speaker B: No, the spell's gone.
[01:34:39] Speaker C: Oh, the spell's gone.
[01:34:42] Speaker B: Yeah. Craig broke the spell me score. Cast an eighth level spell. And Craig went.
[01:34:47] Speaker D: That's cute.
[01:34:49] Speaker C: I was too loud. Diggle left me.
Okay, beautiful.
So I. We can see me score, right?
I ro. Looks up at me scar and go.
[01:35:12] Speaker B: First tell H about the damage.
[01:35:15] Speaker C: No, that's okay. First I'm gonna bonus action drink a greater. My greater healing potion.
[01:35:25] Speaker B: Not a bad idea. It's probably not a bad idea.
[01:35:26] Speaker C: Which is 4D8 plus 8.
So let's do that.
[01:35:42] Speaker B: Baby. Did you say no, this is Maya.
Okay.
[01:35:47] Speaker C: Okay. I just got.
She was 29 point points of healing.
[01:35:53] Speaker B: 29 healing. That's pretty great.
[01:35:55] Speaker E: Wow.
[01:35:57] Speaker C: Wait, let me make sure that's right. Yeah, I did. Yeah, that's.
[01:36:00] Speaker E: I did my math wrong.
[01:36:02] Speaker C: That's crazy. I rolled really well because it's 4D8 and I rolled like an 8. 7. An 8. Yeah.
Okay, So. Okay, so Cool. I'm back up to a decent, more decent number and I'm gonna do a thing.
I can see me score correct.
[01:36:27] Speaker B: You can see me score correct.
[01:36:29] Speaker C: And. Oh, how far away is she from me?
[01:36:33] Speaker B: From you? She is currently 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 50 this way. 20 up. Pythagorean. That's the like.
Guys, that's. That's 250 plus.
[01:36:53] Speaker C: No, I can't.
[01:36:53] Speaker B: I don't. I don't want to.
[01:36:54] Speaker C: Okay. I'm just. Let's just say that I get within 60ft of her.
Can we do that?
[01:37:01] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:37:04] Speaker B: Hold on. I'll give you the exact number.
She is 54ft away from you.
[01:37:12] Speaker C: Oh, really? Okay, so I don't have to move any. Right, Cool.
[01:37:18] Speaker B: No.
[01:37:19] Speaker C: Okay.
Ro is going to do something she's. She's never done before. Actually, I think she might have, but I don't remember if she did or not.
She is going to play now that she can. She's gonna play. I can see clearly now. No, I don't know. She's gonna play something. She's gonna play a metal version of that. Okay.
And she is going to cast Disintegrate at the seventh level on me.
[01:37:57] Speaker E: Huh?
[01:37:58] Speaker A: Huh?
[01:37:59] Speaker B: Oh, that's crazy.
[01:38:03] Speaker C: So as she casts it, I know we have. She has to do a deck save, but just to describe what it looks like, she takes song splitter and she plays that like metal riff and it's like really intricate and you hear kind of like some old song in it. And then as she's still like playing and like riffing, she just points her finger directly at me.
[01:38:25] Speaker A: Score.
[01:38:26] Speaker C: And like a thin green line of like lightning like shoots out directly at her.
Oh, cool.
[01:38:33] Speaker B: That's awesome, Jackie. So as you and you point and there's just this fires out from you. What's your spell?
[01:38:44] Speaker C: Save DC18.
[01:38:51] Speaker B: On a dex. Save. Save. I crap you not. She just got a 17.
So she's gonna burn a legendary resistance.
But hey, you got rid of legendary resistance. So row, as you fire out from her, she like shifts and you can see that she's not moving fast enough. And the beams coming at her and it looks like it's like this control. It's very like horror movie, like Match Cut, you know, where it's just like, like, like one frame to another frame and she's just in a different spot. She's all of a sudden just in a different spot and it just flies up and you watch as it flies into the bookcase and just Annihilates three or four of the things that were on the. On the bookcase just to dust.
And you see panic and hate in her eyes.
All right, cool. Dope. Anything else?
[01:39:43] Speaker C: Oh, wait, I did. Okay, So I used my bonus action. I heal bonus action.
[01:39:47] Speaker B: And action.
[01:39:48] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah, so I can't really do.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, that's all. That's. That's all she wrote.
[01:40:02] Speaker B: Sick. I mean, that's. That's. That's still an awesome turn.
[01:40:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:40:06] Speaker B: Excellent. It is Tello's turn.
What is Tellur doing?
[01:40:13] Speaker E: Oh, goodness.
[01:40:18] Speaker B: How far away is she from Tello? She is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and then 20 up. So that's like 50ft away.
[01:40:34] Speaker E: Is it just me, or is the music on?
[01:40:37] Speaker B: It is still there.
[01:40:38] Speaker A: It's there. It's just you.
[01:40:40] Speaker B: You're a nerve.
[01:40:41] Speaker E: I was like, I feel really calm. Something's missing.
[01:40:46] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:40:49] Speaker E: So tell us a smart. Wait. Oh, Vanessa tells a smart guy, but he probably doesn't know about true sight and what that is. So he thinks that he's successfully hidden. He felt hidden.
[01:41:03] Speaker B: I appreciate that.
[01:41:05] Speaker E: Pull out his short bow and help me out here. The range on a short bow is 80 to 320.
[01:41:13] Speaker B: Yeah, she's in range. She's in range. That second number is the max range it can go to. So everything within 80 is not a disadvantage. And then everything out to the second range he could still shoot for, but would be a disadvantage. So she's within right, Just rolls to hit.
[01:41:28] Speaker E: You said that she's about 50ft away. So she's under 80.
[01:41:33] Speaker B: Yes. So it's just a normal roll to hit.
Okay, cool. Now he would have advantage if he was hidden.
[01:41:40] Speaker E: He's not hidden. Okay.
[01:41:42] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, he felt hidden. Yeah, he felt so hidden.
As he. As he whips out from the cloak, he just goes, you didn't see me there?
[01:41:51] Speaker E: I'm gonna. Yeah, he jumps out because he. He wasn't looking around. So he jumps out. He, like, spins around because he doesn't know where she is to try and find her. He sees her, and then he's like.
And he shoots. But he's a little disoriented from looking around. He's a little creeped out because he is creeped out by her. And he rolls nine.
[01:42:09] Speaker B: Tello first burst out from the box and was facing the wrong way. He's going, ah. And he turned around and fired.
Now is he firing one of his silvered bolts that Boz got him, or no?
[01:42:21] Speaker E: If I knew he.
He Is because he doesn't know he's gonna miss. But he missed. He got a nine.
[01:42:27] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Okay. Go ahead and mark off. He now has 11 remaining silver bolts. He's fired. So the bulge flies up, and it doesn't even.
It just like. She doesn't move fast enough. It just goes past her and behind her. And you watch Teller go.
He just dives back into the boxes and.
Excellent. Greta, it's your turn.
[01:42:56] Speaker E: Okay, okay. Okay.
[01:42:57] Speaker A: I'm so excited.
[01:42:58] Speaker E: I've been wanting to do this the whole combat, but I couldn't see her.
[01:43:01] Speaker B: Thank you, Craig.
[01:43:04] Speaker E: Oh, goodness. I have to get the right tab. Where is it?
[01:43:07] Speaker A: There it is.
[01:43:07] Speaker E: All right.
[01:43:09] Speaker A: She.
[01:43:10] Speaker E: Where is she?
Am I within 60ft of her?
[01:43:14] Speaker B: Ryder, you definitely. Because you're 5, 10, or 15.
[01:43:19] Speaker E: That's all I need to know.
[01:43:21] Speaker B: 35Ft away from me.
[01:43:23] Speaker C: Wow.
[01:43:23] Speaker E: I'm so upset. I'm gonna turn the music on for this because I'm excited about this.
Okay, Well, I just can't hear the music. And I called it.
Greta is going to.
[01:43:43] Speaker A: Listeners.
[01:43:43] Speaker B: Landon's sending metal gear gifts in the chat of Salt Snake sneaking around in boxes. Oh, my goodness. That's awesome.
[01:43:53] Speaker D: I'm so impressed you know who that is? I'm not gonna lie. I did not think any of you were gonna know who Solid Snake is.
[01:43:58] Speaker B: I actually played Smash Bros. Right?
[01:44:01] Speaker D: He's in Smash.
[01:44:02] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:44:02] Speaker E: Got it.
[01:44:02] Speaker D: That's how I was like, how does Zach know who Solid Snake is?
[01:44:05] Speaker B: I know about the games. I haven't played them, but I know about them.
Second floor basement.
[01:44:12] Speaker E: Greta's gonna. I'm so worried that something's gonna be wrong, But Greta's gonna cast Harm on Madame Escore, and that is a constitution.
[01:44:25] Speaker B: Oh, Harm is strong now.
[01:44:28] Speaker E: Yeah, that's my sixth level.
The range is 60ft.
[01:44:34] Speaker B: 60Ft? Yeah. Okay. Dude, crazy.
This is a con saving throw.
[01:44:42] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:44:44] Speaker B: Okay.
She has advantage against spells with her con modifier.
She got a 13 and a 14 plus 7.
That is a 21.
[01:45:01] Speaker E: Okay, that doesn't. That saves.
But I think she takes some damage as much on a successful save.
[01:45:12] Speaker B: Okay, okay, so you still do roll.
[01:45:15] Speaker E: Do I roll all of the dice and.
And then half it, or do I roll seven dice?
[01:45:24] Speaker B: Yes, yes, you'll roll. You'll roll 14d6. 14d6. Abby.
[01:45:31] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:45:32] Speaker B: Oh, man. You guys are pulling out the big guns.
Oh, my goodness.
[01:45:37] Speaker C: That's how many I think I was gonna roll with disintegrate. No. 13, because I.
That's a lot of dice.
[01:45:46] Speaker B: That's awesome.
[01:45:48] Speaker C: Look at all those dice.
[01:45:59] Speaker E: Hey, I'm somebody. Role play. I got.
[01:46:02] Speaker B: No. Do you think? Yeah, somebody. Somebody. Somebody hit me with a thought or.
[01:46:06] Speaker D: Boz is shopping. He's looking at the items as.
[01:46:13] Speaker C: He'S like, what do I want? When we kill you?
[01:46:16] Speaker B: What would I like from here?
[01:46:20] Speaker C: You said M is bloodied, but you said her blood was green and purple.
[01:46:25] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like. It's like a. It's like a. Like a. Like a greenish purple. Like, purple with, like, a slight green iridescence. And where it pools on the floor, it's like it immediately congeals.
[01:46:39] Speaker C: Wait, gross. She's like a leviathan.
[01:46:43] Speaker B: Oh, my bed in a neck.
VC I don't even know who that is.
[01:46:57] Speaker C: V.
I was going to say, do you mean, like, the dragon?
I think Diggle. Diggle's making his bed.
[01:47:11] Speaker B: Landon, do you want. Do you want tacos for dinner? None. No, no, no.
Oh, Dickle. That's how they call working.
[01:47:22] Speaker C: Really? He's real. He's working hard.
[01:47:28] Speaker E: It's gonna be 18.
[01:47:32] Speaker B: 18.
Halved because of the success.
[01:47:37] Speaker E: 18 is halved.
[01:47:40] Speaker B: Don't give us credit. I was like, 18 from 14D6. And then I was like, oh, that makes sense. Okay, so it was 36. Comes down to 18.
[01:47:48] Speaker C: I'm gonna screenshot.
[01:47:56] Speaker B: Abby. Math so hard for the listeners.
[01:47:59] Speaker C: Landon's showing us an American Express gift.
[01:48:03] Speaker A: Card.
[01:48:06] Speaker E: For a long time.
[01:48:08] Speaker B: Greta, as you. Also, Abby, could you turn your camera on and off? It's super blocky and frozen for me.
As you point outward and you shoot up this ray of green energy and. And. And. And invoke the. This harm upon her. You watch miscor hiss back, and she waves a hand, and as she does, all of these splintering, sharp magical glyphs flare in the air for a moment. It's like she combats her spell. As she resists it, you watch the magic shudder across her, and she shivers a little bit, and she looks like she took damage, but it looks like it dealt less damage than you would have thought. She might be necrotic to. She might be resistant to necrotic damage.
We can't all be great, you know?
[01:48:50] Speaker A: No.
[01:48:52] Speaker B: But, hey, Greta was the superstar in the in the count fight, so, you know, we move to the top of initiative in our fifth round of combat, and I need someone to roll me a D4.
What'd you get?
[01:49:18] Speaker C: Did anyone roll?
Oh, I'll roll if no one else is rolling.
Okay, I got a four.
I don't like the Res rolls because none of them are good rolls.
[01:49:39] Speaker B: I'm gonna need charisma saving throws from everyone.
You all have triggered nightmare nemesis.
[01:49:49] Speaker C: Don't like the sound of that.
[01:49:52] Speaker A: Get a advantage.
[01:49:54] Speaker B: You have advantage. Correct.
And also, Greta has a plus one for her proximity to Craig because I think it's a ten foot orbit. Correct me if it's a five, let me know.
[01:50:04] Speaker D: Oh, my God.
[01:50:04] Speaker C: Bro, got a 26.
[01:50:07] Speaker B: Jeez.
[01:50:09] Speaker D: I got a Nat 20.
[01:50:10] Speaker C: She's no longer an owl.
[01:50:13] Speaker B: Jeez.
[01:50:14] Speaker C: Let's go.
[01:50:15] Speaker B: What's your total, boss?
[01:50:17] Speaker D: 21.
[01:50:19] Speaker B: Heck yeah.
[01:50:21] Speaker D: But I also now get to roll on the cohort of chaos table.
[01:50:25] Speaker B: Nice.
Ro and or. No row told me Greta and Tello.
[01:50:32] Speaker E: Tello got a 14.
I got a 13.
[01:50:37] Speaker B: Big. Oof.
[01:50:41] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[01:50:42] Speaker B: Okay, I need more D4s.
Yes.
[01:50:47] Speaker A: No, you don't.
[01:50:48] Speaker C: No, you don't.
[01:50:48] Speaker D: There's like an explosion of magical energy around bars of, like waves of. Of force damage, like, ripple around him, like, shaking the shelves.
Anybody? Anybody that starts their turn within 5ft of me takes 1d8 force damage.
[01:51:02] Speaker B: Until my next.
[01:51:03] Speaker D: Until my next turn.
[01:51:05] Speaker C: Where are you?
[01:51:10] Speaker B: Anyone within five feet of you, boss?
[01:51:12] Speaker D: Yeah, that starts their turn.
[01:51:15] Speaker C: Wait, what triggered me? That's so funny.
[01:51:19] Speaker D: My feature.
I rolled a nat20 on a saving throw.
[01:51:24] Speaker B: Oh, Tello's gonna tell us gonna take.
[01:51:27] Speaker D: The damage unless I move. If I leave, he doesn't.
[01:51:31] Speaker B: Right, right, right. True, true, true. Could be, could be, could be.
Excellent, guys. Kevin Mackley goes so hard, it's.
He just freaking rocks.
Oh, okay.
I didn't understand that comment. Okay, so.
[01:51:50] Speaker D: But the force sounds like the laughter. Whoever takes the damage hears the laughter. Like the mad prince.
[01:51:54] Speaker B: Like, that's like, that's what I love that.
That's sick.
B.A. obviously, Boz, Craig, and Ro all save. I also love the power Micah has now that she realizes she's proficient in Christmas images.
And Tello and Greta. Well, actually, hold on, hold on. Tello and Greta are going to take. Oh, wow.
Guys, I rolled 64. And I rolled four ones.
[01:52:26] Speaker A: Oh, wow, that sucks.
[01:52:29] Speaker B: 12.
So Greta and Tello both take 12.
Oh, 12 psychic. And you're resistance. So you take six.
You take six psychic.
Six psychic damage.
[01:52:43] Speaker C: I'm so glad I did that spell early on.
[01:52:46] Speaker B: That means that the rest of you all.
The rest of you all take three.
So Craig, Boz, and Ro take three psychic damage.
[01:52:57] Speaker D: Dang it. I'm not at max HP anymore.
[01:53:03] Speaker B: However, true.
That also means that as. As Greta and Tello fail, the other part of this is that they're frightened, but they're immune to the frightened condition. So no, they're not.
You guys played the right cards today.
[01:53:25] Speaker D: I feel like we're, like, hyper specific, like, built to handle, like, fae threats, but if you threw us into literally any other side dimension, we would crumble like a piece of paper.
[01:53:37] Speaker B: I mean, you guys are a very strong party, but miscore really did screw with the wrong party. You guys are built to screw to mess her up.
[01:53:44] Speaker D: I feel like we've been, like, preparing the entire campaign for this moment just.
[01:53:49] Speaker C: To get me score.
[01:53:49] Speaker B: She probably accidentally. She probably accidentally grew you all into the party to mess her up.
Okay. Phenomenal to start an initiative, boss. Get in there. Broke even.
[01:54:01] Speaker D: Boz is gonna walk towards her, and I have 50ft of movement, so I'm gonna walk.
[01:54:08] Speaker A: You can get there.
[01:54:08] Speaker B: Are you trying to get directly underneath her also?
[01:54:11] Speaker D: I have freedom of movement.
[01:54:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:54:12] Speaker D: I want to be right under. I want to be, like, right in front of her.
[01:54:15] Speaker C: I have a question.
[01:54:15] Speaker B: Do you want to be. Do you want to be, like, 20ft down and right in front of her? Do you want to be right underneath her?
[01:54:19] Speaker D: 20Ft down and right in front of her? I do not want to be under her.
[01:54:23] Speaker B: Understood. She is dripping.
[01:54:26] Speaker D: Yeah, I don't want to be under the drippies.
I, I. As I'm walking towards her, I say, I say, I say. Sight is a gift from the maker, and it's his alone to give or take away. And I, like, cast fury of the first flame as a huge radiating orb of, like, radiant fire, like, bursts from me and, like, grows as I walk closer to her.
[01:54:50] Speaker E: That's incredible.
[01:54:51] Speaker B: That's terrifying. Landon, that's so scary.
Okay.
[01:54:59] Speaker D: And it's like a threat. Like, I, like, say it and to take away, like, like, as I, like, pull it out, you know, like.
[01:55:04] Speaker B: Landon, that's such a metal line. Guys, I'm making a little note, right?
I'm giving you guys a little bonus XP at the end. Just, just for all the dope lines you've dropped today, I'm giving you a little extra xp. That was so sick, dude.
Okay, what sort of a saving throw is this for me?
[01:55:26] Speaker D: Dexterity saving throw.
[01:55:28] Speaker B: Dexterity saving throw. She has advantage on saving throws against. Oh, that's a nat 20.
[01:55:34] Speaker D: What is it? What if she has advantage on what, Zachary?
[01:55:37] Speaker B: She has advantage on saving throws against spells.
[01:55:39] Speaker D: It's not a magical effect. It's not a magical. Is it a magical effect?
[01:55:42] Speaker B: Yeah, she's advantage against magic. Got it, got it, got it, got it.
So that's a total of 24, but I still take half damage, right?
[01:55:51] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, but it was radiant damage, right?
[01:55:54] Speaker D: Yeah. It's 3D6 fire. 3D6 radiant.
[01:55:56] Speaker B: So let me roll real quick.
[01:55:58] Speaker D: So fire damage is 14, so that's 7. Fire damage.
[01:56:05] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:56:05] Speaker D: And radiant damage is 10. 10.
[01:56:15] Speaker B: Okay.
I mean, that's damage.
Pause. As you look, as you walk forward, uttering that killer line, you hold up your hand, you just.
And as the fire burns outward, it's. She's like.
Like. Like. Like flinching and moving away from it and, like, scuddering around her shop and items. Because not all items in her shop are magical. A lot are, but most aren't. And so things are falling down and catching. And, like, there's like. Like fire being set to part of the shop as. As items are falling down. And where she burns, she, like, twitches and writhes, spits hate. And as you're burning her blood, it's aerosolizing into this awful smoke. It's. It's one of those acrid, revolting scents you've ever smelled. It starts coming off of her, and she's shaking and hissing.
[01:57:00] Speaker D: Can I say that the bonus action, vicious mockery was also involved in that? With what I said?
[01:57:05] Speaker B: Yes. Yes.
[01:57:06] Speaker D: It's not a level spell, so she also has to take a charisma Save.
[01:57:11] Speaker B: Wisdom, saving throw.
[01:57:12] Speaker D: Wisdom, saving throw.
[01:57:12] Speaker B: Which she's good at, but she succeeds with a 27.
But, hey, you got to shoot the shot.
[01:57:21] Speaker D: She's vulnerable to radiant. Right, Zack?
[01:57:23] Speaker B: No, she's not.
[01:57:24] Speaker D: I thought she took extra radiant damage from my car.
[01:57:27] Speaker C: The bizarre.
[01:57:28] Speaker D: The bizarre.
That's right. That's right.
[01:57:35] Speaker B: Didn't you say that like the. Like the epic rap battle, guys.
That's dope.
[01:57:42] Speaker D: She also has to make this.
That saving throw every single turn of hers.
[01:57:50] Speaker B: Oh, because it keeps.
[01:57:51] Speaker D: That's redone. Yes. And it's not concentration, so it just goes.
[01:57:55] Speaker B: That's crazy.
That's awesome.
[01:58:01] Speaker D: Okay, proficiency bonus is for the number of time for. So that's, like, for five. Five. Five rounds.
[01:58:08] Speaker B: Now, is it proficiency bonus or proficiency bonus rounded down? It could. It could be.
[01:58:12] Speaker D: It's proficiency bonus.
[01:58:14] Speaker B: Okay, sick. That's awesome.
I just asked because, you know, made a lot of spells. I forget.
[01:58:20] Speaker D: Not a spell.
[01:58:20] Speaker B: Yes, well, you know what I mean.
[01:58:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:58:23] Speaker B: Features.
She is going to. She hated that.
She's going to use as much movement as she can.
[01:58:34] Speaker D: Attack of opportunity.
[01:58:36] Speaker B: Well, she's 20ft above you.
[01:58:38] Speaker D: I throw it.
[01:58:40] Speaker B: No.
Yes. So she's gonna go 30ft back until she's actually right above her illusory self, ironically enough. And then she's gonna go another 20ft up.
So she is now 40ft up. She's. She's like, pinned up against the top of her ceiling like a rat in a corner. Held up there so high up that, like, real shadow. Shadows, like, real shadow is enveloping her. And you're having trouble, like, keeping sight of her from there. But, I mean, you could see her. You could see her. And she's up there in the. In the darkness. She just. She just spits at you all and she says, you all have made the wrong choice. You think I was in this for me? I was trying to get out before the fire starts. You've trapped yourselves at the bottom of the barrel like rats, and that's where you'll die. And she points a finger at me.
This dark surge of energy fires out from her and all the items in her shop ripple as the. Like the walls shudder and shake. And all this dark energy and she is going to right in the middle of all of you cast Circle of Death.
I need constitution saving throws from all of you.
Oh, and you know what?
She'll go ahead and use one of her seventh level vile slots to upcast this one.
[01:59:59] Speaker C: Oh, of course she will.
[02:00:01] Speaker B: So I'm going to need constitution savings from all of you for 96 necrotic games.
[02:00:10] Speaker C: Can we use our per diem on this?
[02:00:13] Speaker B: That's excellent. If you have it remaining, you can.
Okay, 19 for boss.
[02:00:20] Speaker C: 19 for row.
[02:00:22] Speaker B: 19 for bro.
[02:00:26] Speaker E: I got a 12.
[02:00:30] Speaker B: Hello.
[02:00:31] Speaker A: God.
[02:00:33] Speaker E: I got a 12. Hello.
[02:00:35] Speaker A: Got a.
[02:00:38] Speaker E: Nine.
[02:00:40] Speaker B: Okay, Craig, a one. A nat one.
I nope.
[02:00:51] Speaker C: What?
[02:00:51] Speaker B: An 11.
[02:00:52] Speaker D: Micah, type it in the chat.
[02:00:54] Speaker B: Where is it?
[02:00:55] Speaker D: See you. Your camera.
[02:00:57] Speaker A: More time.
[02:00:59] Speaker B: More time.
[02:01:01] Speaker C: Oh.
[02:01:03] Speaker A: I have a plus one somewhere.
[02:01:08] Speaker B: Did you? From your aura.
[02:01:10] Speaker C: I used my plus one on from the saving throw. Plus one you gave me.
[02:01:18] Speaker B: I don't know why Mikazami is not coming through once.
[02:01:21] Speaker A: Yes, yes. My tattoo. I'm going to add that.
[02:01:26] Speaker B: Okay.
I don't know what you're saying, but you're using your features right now. Okay, 19. Wow. Three of you rolled a 19. That's crazy.
Well, me score has a spell save DC of 19, so three of you just beat it.
So that means you take half damage.
So Ro, Craig and Boz will take half damage. Tello and Greta will take full, which kind of feels like the rhythm here.
Okay.
A lot.
That was clever, Abby.
Okay, 10, 20.
Two.
[02:02:15] Speaker A: Can I absorb that?
[02:02:19] Speaker B: Yes, yes, you can absorb some of this. Craig.
That is going to be 37 points of necrotic damage for Greta and Tello. And then. Oh, okay. Okay. Oh, okay. Somebody. Somebody talk about something. 37 points for Greta and Tello, half for everybody else. I'm having diarrhea right now. Okay.
[02:02:38] Speaker C: Guys, what's 37 half?
[02:02:41] Speaker D: Well, let's do it the Abby subtraction way so that we can fill up the time that Zach's gone. Abby, do you mind doing your method?
[02:02:49] Speaker E: I don't do subtraction.
[02:02:51] Speaker D: Oh, what, so now we gotta find a subtraction guy?
[02:02:55] Speaker C: It would be.
[02:02:55] Speaker B: No.
[02:02:57] Speaker D: On Angie's List, everybody. Don't worry, I'll find somebody.
[02:03:00] Speaker C: Did you say Angie's List?
[02:03:02] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:03:02] Speaker C: Now called Angie.
[02:03:05] Speaker D: Yeah, they can call it whatever they want. It's Angie's List. It's a list, and it's on Angie's.
[02:03:09] Speaker C: Wait, 18.5. So do you round up or down?
[02:03:13] Speaker D: You always round down.
I searched math, and they don't have. They don't have this. They don't have a category for.
[02:03:22] Speaker C: Do you round up or down? Does anyone know?
[02:03:26] Speaker D: Oh, man.
[02:03:28] Speaker C: I'm gonna round down.
[02:03:30] Speaker E: This is how I did the math for my arm.
[02:03:36] Speaker A: 18.
[02:03:36] Speaker C: Are you. Are you still alive? I mean, are you still, like, up? Greta.
[02:03:41] Speaker E: I am.
I am still alive.
What was it, 36 or 34?
[02:03:49] Speaker C: 37.
[02:03:53] Speaker E: I'm at 17.
Let me wipe that.
[02:04:01] Speaker C: Baby. Wrap this down. Take a little note.
I do, too.
Are you. Wait, are you being serious or not serious?
[02:04:10] Speaker E: Yeah, too.
[02:04:11] Speaker C: George Straight.
[02:04:12] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:04:13] Speaker C: That's my favorite.
[02:04:13] Speaker E: George Street 44.
I like.
[02:04:17] Speaker C: Okay, so y' all are.
[02:04:18] Speaker B: Y' all are.
[02:04:19] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:04:19] Speaker A: Y' all are.
[02:04:20] Speaker C: I mean, you know, you're not. You're not great.
[02:04:23] Speaker E: Again, on My turn, just because you're, like, didn't work out. So I'll be a harmony. No, no, I'll be a nice cleric.
[02:04:31] Speaker C: Greta, I would like. I'm gonna. Do you mind if I show this to my mom, who was a math teacher? I just want to get her input on the thought process here.
I think she would enjoy the fact that you showed your work, but I think she'd be like, what?
[02:04:52] Speaker E: So what I do is, like, I do the easy like. So I like. There's three ones in that first column. So I was like, I know what one plus one plus one is. That's very obviously three. And then that becomes they, like, the five, and the five are easy. That's 10. And then, you know, I just kind of. And then three plus five is three plus two is five, and five plus six is 11. So that's how I got 21.
And then on the other one, the other one challenged me a little.
That was like. Well, one plus one. Basically, I start with the easy ones, and I just. It's like, yeah, the Montessori. Are you being for real?
[02:05:36] Speaker D: Yeah, it's a very popular method of education these days, but, yeah, I've definitely seen that before.
[02:05:41] Speaker E: Oh, interesting.
I was on Etsy and I saw a sticker for performative Male Smith.
[02:05:51] Speaker C: I love that.
[02:05:53] Speaker E: I know. Awesome to see Jackie. I'm glad that you get it.
[02:05:56] Speaker C: Please do.
[02:05:59] Speaker E: They have, like, different options.
[02:06:01] Speaker D: Mikey, you're gonna have to get an Ethernet cable. Again, I'm sorry. I don't know what's going on in your new apartment. Supposed to be better, but it's not good.
[02:06:07] Speaker C: It was, but something's happened.
[02:06:10] Speaker D: Is Luke downloading something or watching something?
[02:06:14] Speaker A: No, he's at work.
[02:06:15] Speaker D: Oh, that's probably why. Unless another person is downloading or watching something on your network, your Internet's really bad that he.
[02:06:21] Speaker C: That's not true.
[02:06:22] Speaker D: Get him home right now.
[02:06:23] Speaker C: That's not true.
[02:06:24] Speaker A: I agree with this statement.
Tell him that I'll call.
[02:06:28] Speaker D: I'll call his board and tell him that.
[02:06:30] Speaker B: Yeah, his board.
[02:06:32] Speaker D: The board of Chick Fil A.
[02:06:33] Speaker A: You know how many times he calls me or, like, answers the phone and pretends to be someone else and I call for it, and I talk to who I think is his co workers, and it actually just him voicing his co workers.
[02:06:46] Speaker E: That's so strange, so silly.
[02:06:48] Speaker C: But I like it. It's fun.
Abby, I love this.
[02:06:52] Speaker A: Good.
[02:06:54] Speaker E: Isn't it so cute.
[02:06:55] Speaker C: It's so cute. I love all of them.
[02:06:57] Speaker B: All jokes.
[02:06:57] Speaker C: I love the Labu one.
[02:06:59] Speaker B: That was legitimately pretty brutal.
[02:07:01] Speaker C: Are you okay?
[02:07:02] Speaker B: That was not fun. That was. That was legitimately pretty awful.
The little white donuts had betrayed me.
[02:07:08] Speaker D: That's what it's like when you fail a con. Save in real life.
[02:07:12] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[02:07:13] Speaker E: Yeah, you got one Z.
[02:07:15] Speaker B: That was.
[02:07:16] Speaker E: Yeah.
[02:07:16] Speaker B: When I say if I had not made it to the bathroom within the next 10 seconds of when I did, I would have pooped my pants. I mean it. I. They. I went to the Pisyphus and it was awful.
Okay.
[02:07:30] Speaker E: I lived. Zach fellow and I both lived. It's okay.
[02:07:34] Speaker B: That's so good. Oh, you are right. It is. Rounding down. You always round down for damage.
[02:07:39] Speaker D: Ooh.
[02:07:40] Speaker B: That was terrible.
[02:07:40] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:07:42] Speaker E: Sorry.
[02:07:42] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:07:43] Speaker B: I'm okay. I'm okay. We're in the zone. We're doing combat. We're doing combat.
[02:07:47] Speaker A: Wow.
[02:07:47] Speaker B: That was brutal. Okay, that is what.
Sorry, I have to remember where I am right now. Craig, it's your turn what are you doing, buddy?
[02:08:00] Speaker A: Oh, how is. Would you say she's 60ft away from me?
[02:08:07] Speaker B: Probably not. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 40, 45, 50. And then 40ft up. No, she's much further.
Right.
[02:08:19] Speaker A: Can I use my movement?
[02:08:24] Speaker B: Yes. Can you remind me how much movement you have?
[02:08:30] Speaker A: Here's what I'm thinking.
[02:08:33] Speaker B: Can I use.
[02:08:35] Speaker A: Can I use star splinter?
[02:08:41] Speaker B: You can. Yeah, yeah. You can use God's. Oh, what's the. What's the width of your wings?
[02:08:50] Speaker A: Don't ask me that.
Don't ask me that.
12ft.
[02:08:58] Speaker B: Godspeed could be used in so many circumstances, but not in here. You don't have.
[02:09:02] Speaker A: Can I fly sideways?
[02:09:05] Speaker B: I. Yeah, but you.
Yeah, you could fly straight up because you're talking about a ranged attack.
Dang it.
My mom just called me on my phone. So then Discord went, you gotta call. You want to undefin, right? Because it undefens for everything.
Okay, so, Craig, if you fly straight up and then launch your attack straight to the side. Yeah, you could.
That's sick.
[02:09:52] Speaker A: I'm gonna use my bonus action to turn sideways and release my wings.
[02:09:58] Speaker B: That's it.
[02:10:00] Speaker A: Cool. Now I'm going to fly.
I'm going to fly where Landon is, where Vaz is.
[02:10:12] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:10:15] Speaker A: Cool, cool. And then I'm going to do my ranged attack.
[02:10:22] Speaker B: 40. Level with her or more. Well, you can be more. You can be less. Okay, excellent. So, Craig, as you, like, turn to the side, you speak the command word. And the. The metal, like, burns on the shoulders of your armor until the metal strips like, like burn off of you with light. And they. And you fly up in the shop, and when you do, the light shines all the more brightly. And you hold star splinter the side and you fall, fire off using your last. Your third charge. No more range charges. As you fire the blade off, all the splinters fly at her. Would you get on your attack roll?
A19 will just hit.
[02:11:12] Speaker A: All right. Also, question.
With my sword damage, do I absorb that damage?
[02:11:24] Speaker B: Hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It got real choppy. With your sword damage, do you.
[02:11:27] Speaker A: What does it absorb? Does it absorb all the damage that I take, or do I take the damage and it absorbs it with refraction? Where does it all go?
[02:11:43] Speaker B: Let's see. It'll tell you in your deets, hopefully, if I've done this right at all.
Let's see.
Okay.
The ability to redirect some of the amount of specific damage types. When you are targeted by damage, you may expend your reaction to try and Deflect some amount of the damage when you do so. Refraction absorbs 3D target the damage. Yeah, the damage you've absorbed with refraction, you do not take. It absorbs.
And then when you use the. The. The.
The charge, it deals back.
[02:12:16] Speaker A: Okay, hold on one second. I.
[02:12:21] Speaker B: Now. I don't think you can do that now.
[02:12:24] Speaker A: But I already claimed that I absorbed the 24.
[02:12:27] Speaker B: No, no, you've already. You already absorbed it. I don't think you can deal it back right now, because you'd need to use your reaction to do so.
[02:12:35] Speaker A: Okay, so. But I am going to adjust my. My HP because I absorb 20.
[02:12:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. Okay, so 19. Let me know what you get on the damage that you roll. Also, as a reminder, we can't pump any Divine Smites in this because you've already used your bonus action on the wings.
[02:12:56] Speaker A: Okay, but I do get just a regular one D8.
Because of my Improved Divine Smite.
[02:13:07] Speaker B: Improved Divine Smite? You'd get the D8 if you were.
[02:13:12] Speaker D: My.
[02:13:12] Speaker B: My extra fire damage is gone using a Divine Smite. But because you're not using any Divine Smite, the Improved Divine Smite is the amount of damage you're getting added on when you use the Divine Smite. But it's not just one D8 all the time.
[02:13:23] Speaker A: No, no, no.
It says whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon, the creature takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage. If you also use your Divine Smite with an attack, you add this damage to the extra damage.
[02:13:37] Speaker B: Girl, I'm wrong. Never mind.
That's crazy.
I like, I like, I like this confidence supermodel glow. Micah, let's go. The light's not coming off. It's not coming off. Coming off of her. I like it.
[02:13:53] Speaker A: Micah.
[02:13:53] Speaker B: Yes. D8 now. Lando, what's the range on that?
[02:13:56] Speaker D: That.
[02:13:57] Speaker B: The 3D4 fire.
It's gone.
[02:14:00] Speaker D: You can't add it anymore.
[02:14:01] Speaker B: It's expired. Okay. Okay. I also think she's too far away.
Or he is.
[02:14:06] Speaker D: No, it's based on my. My closeness to Craig, not the distance of her.
[02:14:11] Speaker B: Craig's 40ft near.
[02:14:15] Speaker D: I don't know what the disc, but it doesn't matter. It's gone.
[02:14:17] Speaker B: It.
[02:14:18] Speaker D: Like it's expired. No one can have it anymore.
[02:14:21] Speaker B: I understood.
All right, so roll that damage Kriag. I think that's 66 plus two D6 plus a D8.
[02:14:29] Speaker A: Okay, 66.
[02:14:31] Speaker B: Good looking out on the improved Divine SM.
Yeah. All of your melee weapons. Okay.
Oh, guys, that diarrhea.
Crazy.
[02:14:56] Speaker A: I'm so awake right Now I don't have fire anymore.
[02:15:00] Speaker B: No, not the 3D4. Yeah, it's not a bunch of different kinds of math, but, man, Micah does have to do a lot of addition with this.
This class subclass.
[02:15:19] Speaker A: Hold on while I do the math.
[02:15:21] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
As. As M Score is being damaged, as she is starting to look in worse condition, you all can notice, especially those of you with very high passive perceptions, that the shop also seems to be, like, suffering. You can see the items are becoming more disheveled and you all are firing off powerful magics in here. But you see that it looks like the shelves are literally starting to, like, lean more.
And like, it's like the floorboards are like, like lifting up from each other a little more and some of the chandeliers are starting to, like, tilt a little bit. It's like, as she's suffering the shops shop suffering.
[02:15:57] Speaker C: Is she like the house from Monster House where she's, like, part of the building?
[02:16:03] Speaker A: Mickel got 39 points of damage.
[02:16:08] Speaker B: 39 points. That's a lot.
Math is hard, okay?
[02:16:19] Speaker A: And it is all radiant. What happens with her with radiant.
[02:16:25] Speaker B: As you store up in the air and the star splinter flies apart and all the blades, you fly through her with their golden light, she hiss. And as you're starting to pin her up against the wall, you're watching panic build in her eyes. She's becoming afraid. And she looks back at you with the fury both of a creature so arrogant and so spiteful, but also of an animal so cornered. You watch her, like, digging into the woods, scraping even where she's hanging. She has a grip, but she's like, regripping and like. Like a panicked animal. And she's like, frothing at the mouth with, like, a dark spittle foam.
And you watch the hate. You can see the veins building in her eyes as they're reddening. She looks.
[02:17:00] Speaker D: She's.
[02:17:01] Speaker B: She's pretty seriously wounded. She's starting to look really hurt. She's covered in gashes. She's bleeding all over the place. There is now blood dabbled all over the floor of her shop and up the walls and partially on the ceiling where she is. This place is being painted with her blood. She has so much blood in her, and it's thickening and coagulating on everything.
[02:17:19] Speaker C: Maybe we should blood hurdle her.
[02:17:25] Speaker B: Okay, Greta, Legendary action was already used on you this round of combat, right?
[02:17:31] Speaker E: Yeah, I got blood curdled.
[02:17:33] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:17:33] Speaker E: That's when you went to get. No, never mind.
[02:17:35] Speaker A: Actually.
[02:17:38] Speaker B: For this new one. I don't think so yet.
[02:17:42] Speaker E: I. Wait, so we've. We've had three legendary actions from her so far, and because she tried to blood.
[02:17:48] Speaker B: This is the fifth round of comments, so I think she hasn't.
What were you gonna say, Micah? All right. Unless. Unless she.
Micah. Is once again unintelligible.
[02:18:02] Speaker C: We can't hear you, Micah.
[02:18:04] Speaker A: Hello?
Hello?
[02:18:07] Speaker B: Hit us with it again. We can hear you now.
[02:18:09] Speaker A: I can. I prepared Cosmic Instrument before this, so I can add damage equal to my charisma modifier, Melee Attack.
So I would like to do that in this circumstance.
[02:18:23] Speaker B: What's your prism?
[02:18:24] Speaker A: That's possible.
It's a 8.
[02:18:27] Speaker E: Plus 8.
[02:18:29] Speaker B: Your charisma modifiers. Plus 8.
[02:18:31] Speaker E: 8.
[02:18:31] Speaker B: That seems unlikely. Is that your Christmas saving throw?
That's your Christmas saving.
That's not a modifier.
Your modifier is the. The little number next to the big number. Your saving throw is plus 8.
You don't add your proficiency bonus to a modifier. The modifier is just the modifier. When you're doing. Micah. When you're doing your charisma saving throw, it's your proficiency bonus plus what?
[02:19:00] Speaker A: Plus five.
Wait, plus three. I mean, plus three.
[02:19:03] Speaker B: Plus three. So the plus three is your charisma modifier. Right.
[02:19:06] Speaker A: Okay, so I can add.
[02:19:08] Speaker B: Okay, so three. Hey, but damage is damage. She takes three more damage. That's sick. Damage is damage. Okay, so if. Honestly, Abby, I don't remember.
Well, I don't remember. So we're just gonna say she's already done it because that's my responsibility to keep track of, and I don't recall. So moving on.
So end of Craig's turn, it's Roe. Tello and Greta are on deck. What are you doing, Ro?
[02:19:37] Speaker C: Okay.
Okay.
I gotta figure out how far away she is.
Yeah.
[02:19:49] Speaker B: From you.
[02:19:51] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:19:51] Speaker B: She is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, and then 40 up.
So that's a lot.
[02:20:04] Speaker C: Okay.
[02:20:06] Speaker D: If you need to heal and, like, help Greta and I. I'm gonna heal.
[02:20:11] Speaker E: On my curse, so.
[02:20:14] Speaker C: Well, I want to get. I want to get closer. Anyway, I'm confused.
What's under the thing? Is that Boz on the ground and Craig on the air?
[02:20:25] Speaker B: Yes, that is correct.
[02:20:26] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:20:28] Speaker B: She's currently 94 or 95ft away from me.
[02:20:35] Speaker C: Okay. I can move 30ft right with. Oh, no. There's an ancient black dragon on the board.
[02:20:43] Speaker B: Oh, Maya, Maya, Maya. Oh, that's so cute.
[02:20:48] Speaker C: It's so cute.
[02:20:50] Speaker B: She's looking up at the camera.
I need you to leave those alone. Oh, no, Mimu, no, not there, baby girl.
Don't mess with that.
This is really cute, but also really. Okay, okay.
I'll get you a blanket.
You're moving 30ft forward.
[02:21:13] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:21:14] Speaker B: 25, 30. Okay.
[02:21:15] Speaker C: You're there because that's all I can move, right? Or with freedom of movement, can I move more or. No, that just means that things don't restrict me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So now she's only. She's 65ft away, right?
[02:21:27] Speaker B: Yes.
[02:21:28] Speaker C: Dang it.
[02:21:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:21:29] Speaker C: Only I could move five feet more, but whatever. Okay.
Greta is green, right?
[02:21:40] Speaker A: Yes.
[02:21:41] Speaker C: Okay. Actually, instead of. I'm so sorry, can I retract that I just moved next to Greta, Because I was sure.
[02:21:50] Speaker B: I'm fine with that.
[02:21:51] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:21:51] Speaker C: Okay, go ahead. And I'm gonna. I know you. You can cure yourself, but I'm going to. I'm going to help you out there. So I'm going to cast cure wounds on Greta at the third level.
[02:22:07] Speaker E: Thank you.
[02:22:08] Speaker C: Thank you.
[02:22:08] Speaker E: Thank you.
[02:22:10] Speaker C: Donka.
[02:22:13] Speaker B: Maya. Maya.
[02:22:14] Speaker A: Hey.
[02:22:14] Speaker B: Hey. You're about to get in trouble.
[02:22:16] Speaker C: And icy dice. Dicey dice.
So third level three.
[02:22:32] Speaker B: I did all that work to get my attention, and then when I got her somewhere to lay down, she got upset and went and sat down on her scratching post.
Oh.
[02:22:41] Speaker C: So that's gonna be 25 points of healing for Greta.
[02:22:50] Speaker B: Dang.
[02:22:50] Speaker E: Wow. Funny.
[02:22:52] Speaker C: Yes, ma'.
[02:22:53] Speaker A: Am.
[02:22:53] Speaker E: Thank you.
[02:22:55] Speaker A: And then.
[02:22:57] Speaker C: As I'm healing Greta, I also give her bardic inspiration.
[02:23:06] Speaker E: Oh, wow. Thank you.
[02:23:08] Speaker C: So that's a D10, and that is my turn.
[02:23:14] Speaker B: Okay.
Excellent stuff.
Okay, so after row, it's tello, and then Greta's on deck.
[02:23:28] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:23:34] Speaker A: Now.
[02:23:36] Speaker E: I would like him to.
Yes, I would like.
Hello. Oh, wait, hold on.
How far away is Niece Corps from Tella?
[02:23:58] Speaker B: She is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 67, 50. 55, 60. Seated by 70. 75.
[02:24:06] Speaker A: 80.
[02:24:07] Speaker B: 80, 85. Okay. 95ft away.
[02:24:10] Speaker E: Can. Can he move within 60ft of her?
[02:24:19] Speaker B: He has 30ft of movement.
[02:24:23] Speaker E: Yes.
[02:24:24] Speaker B: 35, 30, 35. Okay, so he'd be right here. So I would put him 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40.
Yeah, yeah. If he uses all of his movement to get to right here, he will be within 60ft of her.
[02:24:40] Speaker E: Okay, he's gonna do that, and he is just gonna take a shot, and he's gonna try and cast hold person on her.
[02:24:48] Speaker B: Okay.
Fascinating choice.
[02:24:55] Speaker E: That's a charisma. So we'll see. No wisdom.
[02:25:04] Speaker B: She rolled real bad. She rolled a six into two.
[02:25:09] Speaker E: She's got a modifier.
[02:25:11] Speaker A: Dang.
[02:25:11] Speaker D: That's crazy.
[02:25:17] Speaker B: Okay, she got a 14.
That's almost as low as you can get her to roll. What's his spell save 16.
And so where she is in the ceiling, crawling where she is, Tello looks up, and he just steals himself, and he goes.
He pulls out his spindle. He, like. He, like, mutters it once to himself, like, practicing. He's like.
And he points out.
[02:25:43] Speaker E: He's like, I'm gonna get her.
[02:25:45] Speaker B: And she, like. She, like, like, goes to move, and she just.
Her, like, muscles are tense and her veins are pulsing, and she just glares at him and you and where Tell her he goes.
You're not going anywhere. And he feels just so triumphant.
[02:26:01] Speaker D: Who's cute now, you hag?
[02:26:05] Speaker B: He's concentrating on her person, right?
[02:26:08] Speaker C: Yeah. That's concentration.
[02:26:10] Speaker B: Excellent.
That's phenomenal. Oh, also. Also, Lando, could you remind me really quickly, the shadows from your cloak that are out, Are they.
[02:26:20] Speaker D: They are not out. I have not. They are not out.
No, they are.
[02:26:25] Speaker B: You summoned them on the way to the shop when you all were headed there.
Oh, to scare the crowd.
[02:26:31] Speaker C: Yeah, that's right.
[02:26:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:26:33] Speaker B: They were summoned. Are they immune to necrotic?
[02:26:35] Speaker D: I don't know.
[02:26:37] Speaker B: Could you look that up for me?
[02:26:39] Speaker C: Feels like they would be.
They give off that vibe, you know?
[02:26:44] Speaker D: Okay, now, Zach, here. Here's the thing. I will say I. That was what I was supposed to do during my turn.
That's the thing that I had left to do was use the shadows and the Bazor's will Bass. And I completely forgot, like, I did not use them. Like, that was my action.
Okay?
So.
[02:27:04] Speaker B: Yeah, gotcha.
Understood. Okay, so they are out. Okay, Gotcha.
[02:27:10] Speaker D: No, I did not think they were out for the combat. Like, in my mind, I had not summoned them for the combat.
[02:27:15] Speaker B: We said they were out, so I will assume that they are out. Now, I've forgotten to impart damage on them thus far, but I will recall.
[02:27:23] Speaker D: That further, they are immune to necrotic damage.
[02:27:27] Speaker B: Okay, sick. All right, then. Not relevant because that's all the damage she's dealt to you so far. So that's fine.
Thank you for checking that for me. Okay, so while. While she is hold personed.
Madam Escort, held person by Tellundar is paralyzed, so.
[02:27:44] Speaker C: Good.
[02:27:44] Speaker B: This means she is incapacitated. She cannot move or speak.
She fails strength and dexterity, saving throws automatically. And attack rolls have advantage against her.
[02:27:57] Speaker C: Silly little haggard.
[02:28:00] Speaker B: That's. I can't believe.
That's sick.
You know what? Actually yeah, she'll burn a legendary resistance. She doesn't want that too.
[02:28:09] Speaker A: Oh.
[02:28:12] Speaker B: But hey.
Two of three down. So as he holds her there and feels triumphant, she.
Her eyes just, like, flare with, like, black magic in the shadow for a second, pulses back from her, and he just falls backward. And I feel like.
[02:28:30] Speaker E: I feel like that really freaks him out because I. I feel like he. Again, he's not a. He's not a magic person. So he's like, wait, I thought he, like, felt it work, and then he felt it not work.
[02:28:41] Speaker B: Right.
[02:28:41] Speaker D: What an incredible move, though. What a great trade of resources, like a whole person for a legendary resistance. Like, you can't get better than that on Black Friday Friday.
[02:28:52] Speaker B: And as Tello as Tell like, bumps up against the bookshelf, he looks up and he can see her desperation. She's frothing. I mean, she looks like a corner dying animal. And he realizes the success of what he's done, even though it's really freaking amount. Excellent. Greta, you are up.
Ouch.
[02:29:07] Speaker E: Okay, this gonna cast a prayer of healing on everyone except Madame Score. She's not gonna cast it on that.
[02:29:16] Speaker B: I.
Okay, I'm just gonna let you know you'll never have to specify that with me.
[02:29:21] Speaker E: I just want to make sure.
And I'm gonna roll that. And I always knew that I should roll that. And I'm gonna roll that.
[02:29:38] Speaker B: Whenever I put a blanket somewhere that Maya does. Maya wants to be. She does this super cute thing where she takes her head and she goes up and looks at it from multiple angles. It's so sweet.
[02:29:49] Speaker E: Boom.
[02:29:50] Speaker B: Eight, baby.
[02:29:52] Speaker E: Five. Eight plus five.
[02:29:55] Speaker B: Thirteen.
[02:29:55] Speaker A: Thirteen.
[02:29:58] Speaker C: We all get thirteen.
[02:30:01] Speaker E: You get five plus my thirteen. You get eighteen points of healing. Le.
[02:30:06] Speaker C: Le.
Heck yeah.
[02:30:10] Speaker B: Eighteen healing. That's phenomenal for the whole party.
Dope. Okay, that's excellent. Up to the top of the combat. I need somebody to roll me a D4.
[02:30:24] Speaker C: I did the last.
[02:30:28] Speaker B: Do it.
[02:30:30] Speaker C: I don't want that responsibility.
[02:30:33] Speaker B: Two, you are going to get.
That's Little Shop of Horrors again.
Where the noose where the hangman's necktie is floating.
It'll probably. She'll send it toward.
[02:31:00] Speaker A: Yeah.
[02:31:03] Speaker B: Giving her a lot of trouble.
She'll put it on. She'll put it on. Greta. Because it's only close enough for row and Greta. So, Greta, I need a dexterity saving throw.
[02:31:13] Speaker C: Remember, you have a.
[02:31:15] Speaker E: A.
Oh, I do have a Bardic.
[02:31:17] Speaker C: Bardic inspiration.
[02:31:21] Speaker E: I'm gonna use it. What is it? What dice is it? I'm sorry.
[02:31:23] Speaker C: A D10.
No, you're good.
[02:31:26] Speaker B: Isn't it good to know a powerful bard, was it?
[02:31:29] Speaker E: What's the thing?
What's the dexterity?
[02:31:36] Speaker B: Man, this combat has been crazy because this time was just fighting her. You dealt with the resource of as largely last time.
Crazy probably good. We broke this one up.
[02:31:47] Speaker E: 15.
[02:31:48] Speaker B: 15, yeah.
Got a DC 14.
[02:31:54] Speaker E: Let's go, let's go.
[02:31:57] Speaker B: Guys. You have been rolling so hot this con. I mean, the number of rolls that you guys have gotten by one or two is wild. Yeah, 19 through 19.
You feel that. You feel the noose and as it's just like flying through the air towards you, you duck really quickly and it goes by your head and you feel the like, rough fibers through your hair as it almost caught you.
That's.
You avoided that.
[02:32:26] Speaker E: Thank you, Jackie.
[02:32:30] Speaker B: Man, you guys are playing varsity out here. All right. Top of initiative, boss.
[02:32:34] Speaker D: Okay, so you know. You know Spider man, you know, like how Doc Ock, like when his arms move him, he just kind of moves without moving, like, up.
[02:32:41] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:32:42] Speaker D: Boss is going to use his climb speed to do that with like the branches kind of like on him. I'm like grabbing onto like the walls of the shop as he like kind of takes the first step as they come out from him and just kind of like lift him 10ft.
[02:32:55] Speaker B: That's the air.
He doesn't need it.
[02:32:58] Speaker D: It's more for just like show and tell. But he's gonna like, look at the score and he's gonna be like, where do you think you can climb that the light will find you? And all of a sudden, that that big fury of the first flame is gonna coalesce into a single mote and like a railgun shoot off as he casts sunbeam at her. And she needs to make a stating throw.
[02:33:19] Speaker B: That's. So, guys, did you guys, like practice your lines or something?
You guys are going so hard today. Lando, you said you were 10ft up.
[02:33:33] Speaker D: Yes.
[02:33:34] Speaker B: Okay, guys, this is amazing. You guys have come in here with the dopest lines.
Okay?
Constitution saving throw.
[02:33:45] Speaker D: Yes.
[02:33:49] Speaker B: Good time for advantage. One of them was a nat one that's gonna be a 22.
[02:33:55] Speaker D: So she succeeds, but she still takes half of 6d8 radiant damage, and that's not bad. Is she considered undead Zachary?
[02:34:06] Speaker B: No. Okay. Not even a little bit.
She's fay all day.
[02:34:15] Speaker D: Oh, and I upcasted it at six. Wait, no. Is something. No, it's six level to begin with. Never mind, never mind. I thought I did not have cast it. I did 21. So half. That's 10, 10, 10, 10, 10. So she takes 10 radiant damage. As, like the fear.
As the fear of this, like, mode of light is, like, shining, and it looks like it's about to go again. Like it's ready.
[02:34:38] Speaker B: That's sick.
And, hey, she's starting to look pretty luff. Rough. Yep. Now. Now it's the start of her turn. She takes the damage again, right?
[02:34:47] Speaker D: Yes. She does take the damage of the moat. Yes, yes.
[02:34:52] Speaker B: Okay, now, how much. How much damage is this? Is it the full 66 or the 3D6 or how many he has to roll?
[02:34:56] Speaker D: A saving throw.
And it is 3D6. Fire 3D6 radiant.
[02:35:02] Speaker B: If she fails, is it Dex or con again?
[02:35:08] Speaker D: Dex. It's Dex. Save 18 that fails. She fails.
[02:35:14] Speaker B: Okay, hit me with the 66, Lando.
As the fire and light flares again and fires out at her again. You're just gouting her from below, man.
[02:35:27] Speaker D: I took the fire, the feature where you get. And I can re roll ones, and I turned a one into a five, so that's pretty cool.
[02:35:34] Speaker B: That's sick.
[02:35:35] Speaker D: So that's 24 damage.
[02:35:38] Speaker B: Excellent math, Boz. As you. As you gout the flame up again.
Were you ever cornered in your shop? And she retracts and hisses.
She's starting to look pretty rough. She's covered in gashes. She's bleeding everywhere. And a lot of the bleeding has stopped because you've burned her so badly, you've cauterized part of him. This sickly mustard pale color of her skin is turning into this cracking brown, and she's no longer quipping retorts. You've burned most of her hair away. She looks horrible.
[02:36:13] Speaker D: And let's throw a vicious mocker in there just for fun.
[02:36:17] Speaker B: Excellent.
She is now below triple digits for the first time.
[02:36:23] Speaker E: Whoa. Let's go below triple digit.
[02:36:27] Speaker B: Yeah, that's like a 21.
Okay, she saved, but, hey, excellent.
You got to try. Okay, it's me Score's turn.
She is gonna.
She's going to. Oh, is Abby gone?
Okay, well, that's good timing, because at the end of Boz's turn, she's. No, actually, no, no, no. She's. She's gonna spellcast.
She has a lot of good options, but she's still Spoopy pabopy.
She puts this right here. Yeah, she can still hit all of you.
[02:37:12] Speaker E: Oh, great.
[02:37:13] Speaker B: She's gonna use another circle of death.
She's feeling pretty desperate, so. And it's just a really good spell for her, so she's gonna use another circle of death, and she can put it in the center of you all. And with the radius, she can. Right, cuz. What's the radius on this?
I don't need this one. Yeah, yeah, 60 foot radius. She can still hit all of you. So she's going to do that.
So I need con saving throws from everybody.
Nobody's within the aura for Craig right now, by the way as well.
[02:37:59] Speaker C: So Craig, I got a 19.
[02:38:04] Speaker B: Guys. These 19.
[02:38:05] Speaker D: I got a two.
[02:38:07] Speaker B: Okay. Happens to the best of us.
[02:38:09] Speaker A: I got a 20.
[02:38:10] Speaker E: This is constitution.
[02:38:12] Speaker B: Yes, constitution.
[02:38:14] Speaker E: Tello got a 12.
I got a 18.
[02:38:23] Speaker B: Okay, so row and Craig succeed.
Tello, row and Boz fail.
[02:38:33] Speaker C: Wait, you said row twice, didn't you? Or am I crazy?
[02:38:39] Speaker B: Sorry. No, you're correct. My bad. Rowan, Craig. Hello, Greta. Boss fail. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
[02:38:45] Speaker C: I was like.
[02:38:46] Speaker B: Wait, would you gonna be 9d6.
Necrotic damage. The dark. The dark line of light fires out again. And this time, as she does, she spits some of her own blood into it. And when she fires the beam forward, it's like the blood is spraying out as well and like sticking to you all. And where it sticks to you all, it burns and is infecting you with some sort of like a magical sickness.
[02:39:10] Speaker D: Okay.
[02:39:10] Speaker B: Pretty average roll. Very average roll.
Okay. 5, 10, 15, 20.
Wow, that's such an exact number you all take.
So Tello, Ro. No Tello, Greta and Boz all take 30. Necrotic damage.
And then Roe and Craig, you both take 15.
That's Miscore's turn. Craig, it's yours.
You are out of your ranged. You've used all your ranged spells for star splinter. And remember, you cannot fly. You can fly up and down. You can't go sideways. You don't have room for your wings.
[02:40:01] Speaker A: Oh, shoot.
Can I.
[02:40:07] Speaker B: Do you have any ranged weapons?
[02:40:10] Speaker A: No.
[02:40:12] Speaker B: You got rid of them.
[02:40:14] Speaker A: Okay, let me see. Let me.
[02:40:16] Speaker B: I don't think javelins at one time.
Okay, fair enough.
[02:40:31] Speaker E: Well, I can't hear you.
[02:40:34] Speaker B: Like somebody whispering into a pool.
[02:40:37] Speaker A: Hello.
[02:40:39] Speaker B: Oh, now you're clear. Okay. There are no rules to this.
[02:40:42] Speaker A: It's because I got a text message. That's so weird.
[02:40:45] Speaker B: Okay. Okay, Keep going.
[02:40:47] Speaker A: Okay, so I was thinking if I drop down, run, and then fly back up, turn just enough to reach her.
[02:40:55] Speaker B: Ah.
[02:41:02] Speaker D: I.
[02:41:03] Speaker B: Here. Oh, okay.
[02:41:05] Speaker A: It's 60ft with the wingspan. And then when I drop down.
[02:41:12] Speaker B: Well, okay, I can run sideways, right? You couldn't.
The problem is that if you flew down and then ran and then flew back up, that's more than 60ft flying. So you wouldn't. You wouldn't have the Movement. You need to get there.
Now, here's the thing. I will say, Craig, if you want to just fall 40ft, slam into the.
[02:41:36] Speaker C: Ground.
[02:41:38] Speaker B: You can then.
Well, yeah, you could then run 20 and fly 40 and get up there.
So if you want to just cannonball to the floor, run on your feet, and then fly back up.
[02:41:53] Speaker A: How high?
Five damage.
[02:41:59] Speaker B: What it's a D6 for? It's a D6 for every 10ft, so it'd be four D6.
Feel like rolling some dice?
[02:42:08] Speaker A: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. Okay.
[02:42:12] Speaker B: And Craig just. Craig just folds his wings in, puts himself in a cannonball. Just.
[02:42:17] Speaker A: Can I land in the sand?
[02:42:20] Speaker B: Wait, you are going to land on the.
[02:42:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:42:25] Speaker A: Please don't help me at all.
[02:42:27] Speaker B: You're going to take 15 points of bludgeoning damage as you into a crate and into the sand.
[02:42:33] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:42:36] Speaker C: Can you.
[02:42:36] Speaker B: That's a choice, dude.
All right, Craig has landed. Then he runs 10, 50, 20, and then flies back up 40. So Craig, where he is in the air, folds his wings and just craters a crate and falls into the sand. He gets up, like, he, like. And he has to, like, sideways jog because his wings are too wide to get past the shelves. Then he gets over here and then flies back up. That's amazing. Micah, now what are you doing? That's.
[02:43:06] Speaker A: That's awesome. Now I rolled the hit main leg.
[02:43:10] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, yeah. Give me. Give me two rolls to hit.
Oh, that's so funny, Mike.
Yep.
Is that a nat one?
[02:43:25] Speaker A: I'm so sick.
I'm so freaking sick.
[02:43:29] Speaker B: What'd you get?
[02:43:30] Speaker A: 14 and 18.
I'm so 14. 14 and an 18.
I'm so mad. I did all of that just to not hit at all.
[02:43:41] Speaker B: That's.
[02:43:45] Speaker A: That makes me so mad.
[02:43:50] Speaker E: Stinky Pinky.
[02:43:53] Speaker B: Craig, as you get up there and you with your sword, first of all, you're in so much pain. Like, the box broke your fall and the sand helped, but you still. You, like. You, like, might have partially broken something, and your magical armor helped protect you, but you took so much pain. So as you're in pain, miscore is just. She has this horrible quickness and dexterity. She scatters around, and as she does on the third one, at the end of your turn, she is going to use a legendary action to vanish again, and she's going to go 25, 30, appearing here above.
[02:44:27] Speaker A: Why would you do that? No.
[02:44:29] Speaker B: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50. She's going to go all the way to here.
[02:44:36] Speaker A: I'm so mad. I just got 15 points of damage for melee.
Just nothing happen. Nothing happened.
[02:44:52] Speaker B: That sucks. Micah.
[02:44:53] Speaker A: I'm sorry.
[02:44:54] Speaker B: It's Rose turn. Tello and Greta are on deck.
I'm sorry, Micah. That's tough, dude.
[02:45:00] Speaker C: Okay, so she.
She vanished. And where is she now?
[02:45:06] Speaker B: Where she is on the map.
[02:45:08] Speaker A: What?
[02:45:08] Speaker C: Okay, that's what I thought. I just was. But she's over here now blurring for me the map. That does. And I saw two dice that look.
[02:45:17] Speaker B: Okay, so she is now.
[02:45:19] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:45:20] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 up. She's like 50ft away from you now.
[02:45:26] Speaker C: Okay, I'm going.
I'm going to.
I'm going to take song splitter and play the song that is playing right now as I do when I cast this.
And I'm going to cast.
Let me make sure. Okay.
No, I'm gonna cast shatter at the fifth level.
[02:46:06] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:46:07] Speaker B: Pose Landon is making right now and million dollars.
[02:46:11] Speaker C: I know it's not force damage, but it like feels the same vibe. So she's going to like, after she plays it and she's gonna point her finger and say like, let's try this one more time. Or she's gonna say it in Rose.
[02:46:24] Speaker B: Oh, heck yeah.
[02:46:25] Speaker C: And she points at her and it's gonna be like green lightning. Green and purple and goldish lightning.
[02:46:32] Speaker B: And as you do.
[02:46:32] Speaker D: And as you.
[02:46:34] Speaker B: And then point that one more time if you're cool with it. Jackie gets like sung as like a really metal like, yes note.
[02:46:40] Speaker C: Yes.
[02:46:42] Speaker B: Shatters upward. It rocks the thunder damage rocks the shelves of the shop. This is a constitution saving throw from her.
[02:46:50] Speaker C: Yes, sir.
[02:46:59] Speaker B: 25.
[02:47:04] Speaker C: Okay.
Yeah, she does get. Yeah, she does have to take half.
Okay.
32.
So halved is gonna be 16. Yeah.
Damage is damage.
[02:47:37] Speaker B: Hey, she. I'm. That's some damage. As.
As the energy thunders over her and she shudders. Bro, she's starting to like. Like parts of her skin bust on her face from the. The force and she's bleeding from everywhere. She's looking so rough.
[02:47:54] Speaker C: Gross.
And as I do that. That is going to.
I think Craig may be too far away. That is going to inspire boss.
Partically.
[02:48:10] Speaker B: Okay. Heck yeah.
[02:48:13] Speaker A: If.
[02:48:13] Speaker C: If you feel like it inspired you, boss. No, I'm just kidding.
So you get a D10, sir.
[02:48:21] Speaker B: Excellent. So boss is a D10. Dope, dope, dope, dope, dope.
Okay, awesome.
As you.
As you shake those the shop. You're actually gonna trigger that falling item thing again, Ro. As the shop shakes. So items from all around the shop are going to ball everywhere. Because the damage does. The building does also take that damage.
So, Craig, you're not going to take any of this because you're flying in the air again, so you are free from this. But everybody else is going to take nine points of bludgeoning damage. Bludgeoning and piercing from different objects falling and hitting them.
Greta, since you're in the middle of the walkway, you're actually going to take half. So everybody takes nine. You take four.
So Tella will take nine. You'll take four.
Okay, that is the end of Rose turn.
End of Rose.
Do we have any really juicy legendary actions? She can't do that one anymore.
Doesn't have enough for that one.
She'll cast a small spell. She's gonna use her last two actions. Her last two legendary actions. At the end of Greta of Rose turn, she will put down.
She can't cast that any higher than that with the two legendary actions. Yeah, she's going to cast magic missile at the fifth level at Greta, please, not so Greta. Can you remind me your ac?
Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I think magic missile just works, right?
Also, you're muted. This is the way.
[02:50:21] Speaker E: My AC is 19.
[02:50:23] Speaker B: Yes, that's the whole thing about Magic missile.
It just works.
Okay, so Greta, you take.
I mean, it's not a world of damage. She knows you look rough, and she's trying to hurt you guys.
That is 10, 12, 5. You take 17 points of force damage as the darts just.
Just flying you, and you're pushed back to the floor.
[02:50:58] Speaker A: Okay?
[02:50:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:51:01] Speaker A: All right. Okay.
[02:51:02] Speaker B: Okay. Now it is Tello's turn.
[02:51:05] Speaker E: Okay, Tello's gonna do with his longbow.
[02:51:09] Speaker B: I didn't know he had a long bow.
A short bow.
I think we made it a crossbow two years ago. It doesn't matter.
[02:51:18] Speaker E: Gosh heckin dang it.
How does a 11 sound?
[02:51:23] Speaker B: Not so.
[02:51:25] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:51:25] Speaker B: Well, man, we really need to get him a magical weapon at some point.
Yeah, kind of crazy.
[02:51:32] Speaker D: He's.
[02:51:32] Speaker E: Greta just used a crossbow.
[02:51:35] Speaker C: Yeah, maybe we do that before we go fight any big bad boys, you know?
[02:51:41] Speaker B: Anything else?
[02:51:41] Speaker C: Put it on the list, fellas.
[02:51:43] Speaker E: No, I think that's it.
[02:51:46] Speaker B: Okay, Greta's on deck. Or Greta's up.
[02:51:48] Speaker E: I think Greta's gonna do prayer of healing again.
[02:51:53] Speaker B: Okay.
[02:51:54] Speaker E: Oh, what is that? 2D8.
Where's my date? Okay.
Boom, four. Boom, eight. Oh. 12 plus five.
17.
[02:52:13] Speaker B: Okay, 17 points of healing for everybody. Now, I just want to check. You want to include Madame M on that healing? Abby, you didn't specify.
[02:52:21] Speaker E: No, I actually didn't want to I really would rather not.
[02:52:24] Speaker A: Okay.
[02:52:25] Speaker E: Thank you for checking.
[02:52:27] Speaker B: All right, we go back up to the top of initiative for our sixth round of combat.
Somebody roll me a D4.
Landon shook his head this time.
[02:52:43] Speaker D: Hey, Zach. For some reason, the camera quality is low for me on the battle map. I can't see the number of squares there are for me to her, but.
[02:52:51] Speaker B: As I'm turning the camera on and off, it's just going to take me some time to readjust it.
[02:52:56] Speaker D: No, no, no, no, don't change.
[02:52:57] Speaker B: I'm just.
[02:52:58] Speaker D: I'm prefacing why I'm asking this question.
[02:53:00] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Yeah, why?
[02:53:02] Speaker D: How far away from me am I from her right now? 5, 10 to 2.
[02:53:06] Speaker B: I can give you that answer. 5, 10, 5, 75, 70, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45.
Then she's 30ft higher than you are.
So that's like.
That's like 55ft away from you.
[02:53:27] Speaker A: Ish.
[02:53:28] Speaker B: 55. We'll call it 55, Greta. Or thank you, Micah. With a two. We procured our little shop of horrors again.
So that noose is going to re loosen and then fly back down to Greta. Greta, I need another dexterity saving throw.
Misgore knows she can't do it to Ro anymore, and Boz and Craig are not in range.
[02:53:54] Speaker C: My favorite musical, but you're ruining it for me, Zach. Yeah, top five favorite musicals.
[02:54:01] Speaker E: This an eight.
[02:54:03] Speaker B: An eight?
[02:54:05] Speaker E: Yeah.
[02:54:07] Speaker B: Greta, the noose tightens around your throat and lifts you five feet off of the ground.
[02:54:17] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:54:20] Speaker B: This means.
Let me go to my deeds here, Greta.
Oh, no. Great. Now I gotta go back to this other place in my notes.
Guys, I'm making this whole teaching and DMing thing and writing thing work, but the whole having to flip back and forth between.
I can only take some of my notes. Okay, Hangman's time.
So, Greta, you are currently grappled and restored strained.
You're lifted five feet off the ground.
[02:54:58] Speaker A: Okay?
[02:55:01] Speaker B: At the start of your turn, you're gonna make a constitution saving throw.
[02:55:06] Speaker E: Okay?
[02:55:10] Speaker B: If you fail, you will be knocked unconscious.
And for every round that you. You are unconscious while knocked unconscious by the rope, you will be suffocating. You will automatically fail a death save.
[02:55:25] Speaker A: Oh, wow.
[02:55:29] Speaker B: Makes sense.
[02:55:31] Speaker E: Yeah.
[02:55:32] Speaker B: Okay, pause your first initiative. What are you doing?
Oh, man.
I don't. I'm not. I'm.
[02:55:41] Speaker D: I don't have the book of Tasha.
[02:55:42] Speaker B: So I'm not sure.
[02:55:44] Speaker D: I'll have to look more into Wild Shape to figure that out to my.
[02:55:47] Speaker B: Let me know.
[02:55:48] Speaker D: But it's an action to Wild Shape. Bonus action to unwild shape.
[02:55:51] Speaker A: Right.
[02:55:51] Speaker D: Like that's traditional. Like wolses.
[02:55:52] Speaker B: Yes.
[02:55:53] Speaker D: Like before Tasha's. Right. Okay. And she's 55ft away from me. Right.
So I lost concentration on her circle of death spell.
[02:56:02] Speaker B: Right.
[02:56:03] Speaker D: It was like 30 damage. Impossible for me to maintain concentration with half damage. Wait, no, that's 30. Wait, that'd be a 15.
[02:56:10] Speaker B: I could technically concentrating on.
[02:56:12] Speaker D: I was concentrating on sunlight.
[02:56:16] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[02:56:19] Speaker D: Okay, okay, okay.
[02:56:20] Speaker B: You could. Yeah, that's a. That's a 15. 15.
[02:56:23] Speaker D: Yeah, it's a 15. So let me see. And it's a con. Oh, it's the con save. Oh, I'm bad at those.
[02:56:28] Speaker B: Yeah. Give me a concept.
Ah, that's 11.
Oh, sorry, boss. You lose.
[02:56:36] Speaker D: Well, that's okay. That's okay. It's all part of the plan. Baz Wild shapes into an owl and flies over to Madam E. Score in unwild shapes and is like holding on to her and.
[02:56:48] Speaker B: Okay, okay. A lot of things happened really fast.
You're in melee with her.
[02:56:54] Speaker D: I want to be within five feet of her.
[02:56:57] Speaker B: Okay. Do you want to be held on to her or do you want to be held onto the wall? Both are possible.
[02:57:01] Speaker D: I can be the wall. I'll do the wall.
[02:57:04] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. I'm just checking. I want things to be exactly as you would prefer. Or as you specify, rather.
Okay, so Boz into an owl flaps, and then out of the motion and he just attaches to the wall with his tendrils like Spider man, which is sick.
[02:57:20] Speaker D: I say sup, and then she takes the damage from the flames.
[02:57:28] Speaker B: Okay, okay. And I'm sorry, one more time. Deck saving throw, right?
[02:57:33] Speaker D: Yes. Deck save.
[02:57:35] Speaker B: Sorry, you have to keep repeating that.
That's really freaking high.
23y.
So half damage.
[02:57:48] Speaker D: So that is me with it.
[02:57:50] Speaker B: That is whittling her down.
[02:57:52] Speaker D: 66. I know. I was like, I don't have any big. Any big bonker spells anymore.
We roll the fire one. Oh, that's good.
So that's 28 total.
[02:58:04] Speaker B: 28. Yep.
[02:58:05] Speaker D: 4, 4, 3, 6. 6, 5. They're not halved. No. So that's 14 total damage.
[02:58:10] Speaker B: I was like 56. Okay. Okay.
[02:58:14] Speaker D: And then the shadows are going to attack.
[02:58:17] Speaker C: Nice.
[02:58:18] Speaker D: Oh, finally.
[02:58:19] Speaker C: Nice. Smart.
[02:58:22] Speaker D: So they get a plus hit. They get a plus four. And there's three of them, right?
[02:58:28] Speaker B: Three. Yes, yes. Three attacks.
[02:58:31] Speaker D: So that is a nat 20. That's so hilarious. And she's immune to necrotic damage? I think so I don't think it does anything. That is a nat 20, a 14 and an 8.
[02:58:40] Speaker B: So that's 20 know whether or not she's immune.
[02:58:42] Speaker D: 12. 20, 18. 12.
[02:58:46] Speaker B: Okay, so one of them hits.
Okay.
Yeah.
So how much necrotic? She's resistant to necrotic. So how much necrotic is it?
[02:58:57] Speaker D: 2D6 plus 2. So that is 1, 2, 3, 4.
That is 15 plus 4. That's 19 necrotic damage.
[02:59:05] Speaker B: Okay, so she takes.
[02:59:08] Speaker D: Now here's the questions.
Oh, sweet dm did she take extra strength die damage as well from the critical hit that my shadow did? No, no extra 2d4 strength.
[02:59:22] Speaker B: Dwayne, that would be crazy.
[02:59:24] Speaker D: It's a really nice shadow.
[02:59:26] Speaker B: All right.
[02:59:31] Speaker D: That is a 3 on the strength drain.
Okay, so 14 fire radiant.
[02:59:39] Speaker B: 8.
[02:59:39] Speaker D: Necrotic loss of strength by 3.
[02:59:46] Speaker B: As you. As the shadow reaches out at her and lunges and draws life out of her. And she.
[02:59:54] Speaker D: I can take your soul too.
[02:59:59] Speaker B: She seems super naturally strong, but still greatly affected her.
She's really starting to look rough.
She's like quivering on the shelf and bleeding and burned. And she looks at death's door. But the desperation and hate of an animal on the verge of death is painted across her expression. It is her turn.
She is going to.
You're right in front of her. She puts it right.
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
She can put it right here in the air.
Oh, she can put it right here in the air and get everyone but herself.
She is going to to use her last circle of death. I really didn't know that circle of death was going to be the spell this combat. Didn't know that was going to happen. But now she's out of seventh level slots and so she cannot do 96. She can only do eight. But I need a constitution saving throw again from everyone.
[03:01:14] Speaker A: Oh.
[03:01:18] Speaker C: I'm using my inspiration cuz your girl rolled really bad.
[03:01:23] Speaker D: I got a six.
[03:01:26] Speaker B: Oh buzzy boy.
Okay, 19 man. My God.
[03:01:31] Speaker D: I got a six.
[03:01:34] Speaker E: Also got a six. Tello got a ten.
[03:01:37] Speaker D: Is Abby about. I don't have any. Listen, I don't have any removed by spell slots left. So if you have a third level spell slot, preserve it.
[03:01:45] Speaker C: I rolled. I have a revivify spell. I have. I have.
[03:01:48] Speaker B: Did you get row?
[03:01:49] Speaker C: I have a couple. I rolled a two. So I used my inspiration and I got a four.
[03:01:54] Speaker B: Oh buddy.
Micah. Micah just would just like being like 7, 8, 12, 14, 16. No panicking.
[03:02:04] Speaker A: You could tell I'm getting a little tired cuz I was like yeah, constitution is charisma.
[03:02:08] Speaker B: And.
[03:02:09] Speaker A: And so I added my plus eight and. No, wait. No plus four.
[03:02:12] Speaker B: Wait, we're getting cracked up, cuz we're doing the combat first now. So it's only 10 o', clock, but I think Micah's body's like 1am this is 1am I know this. This is 1am okay, so Craig succeeds, everyone else fails.
This is getting spicy, y'. All. It's a very average roll.
Very average. Okay, so 10, 20, 27.
So Craig is going to take 13 necrotic damage. Everyone else takes 27.
[03:02:59] Speaker C: It could be worse. It could be worse. It could be worse.
[03:03:04] Speaker E: Do you want to know how many Greta hit points you had?
[03:03:07] Speaker C: Yes, I need you to tell me how many Greta hit points I had.
[03:03:11] Speaker E: 26.
[03:03:15] Speaker B: Greta's unconscious.
[03:03:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:03:19] Speaker B: Okay, and since Greta is now unconscious while within the noose.
[03:03:28] Speaker E: Oh, I forgot.
[03:03:32] Speaker B: That means that is automatically going to death saves.
All right, next in Initiative, it's Craig.
[03:03:47] Speaker A: I'm literally. I'm literally on the other side of the map. There's nothing I can do.
[03:03:51] Speaker B: You are you widowy?
[03:03:53] Speaker E: That's all right, Craig.
[03:03:56] Speaker A: I lie down, take all my wings.
[03:04:02] Speaker B: You what?
[03:04:03] Speaker E: You gotta focus on me. Score, Mike.
[03:04:05] Speaker A: Well, she's on the other side, so I guess I just focus and walk.
[03:04:10] Speaker B: Okay, do you fly down?
[03:04:12] Speaker A: I down and I start walking.
[03:04:16] Speaker B: Okay, so that's down 40.
You can go 5, 10, 15, 20.
You have 25 movement, right?
[03:04:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is.
[03:04:26] Speaker B: Okay, so you're to 25 right there.
[03:04:32] Speaker A: So I. What's the range on javelins?
I literally don't have anything right now.
[03:04:40] Speaker B: I don't know. You haven't used them in 80 episodes, so it has stuck to my mind.
I know you used a javelin when you fought Kettle in the blood pole.
Your javelin range is 3120.
So you can hit her. It's just a disadvantage.
[03:05:05] Speaker D: Oz is standing in front of me. Score. And he, like, turns his head back and looks at Cragg and says, take the shot.
[03:05:14] Speaker B: A shot. Okay.
[03:05:17] Speaker D: Not like, trying to, like, convince him to, like, do a move, but more of like, don't care that I'm right, that I'm like, here. Like, you can do it. Like, I think you can. Like, I know you can do it, Craig. Like, you can take the shot.
You can still hit her.
[03:05:31] Speaker B: Actually, Abby, just disregard what I just.
[03:05:33] Speaker A: Said and I'm gonna do it.
[03:05:37] Speaker B: Okay, you're rolling to hit with disadvantage, Craig. Now, as a note, Craig, you can hold on. Hold on. Before you roll, let me read something under Paladins. This is really helpful because I Didn't DM for a paladin until you. So you're really helping me with things.
Melee weapon attack. No, no, because that'd be a ranged weapon attack. Okay. I was gonna say you can pump Divine Smite into that, but you can't. So you just roll and hit with a javelin.
But damage is damage.
So roll to hit a disadvantage.
Greta or Abby. You could. You could, because you can heal an unconscious creature. So a healing potion can be administered to an unconscious creature. It just takes an action. But do remember, you're five feet up in the air, and something is currently closing your windpipe.
[03:06:27] Speaker E: So that's true. That wouldn't. Yeah.
[03:06:35] Speaker A: So it's a 20 and a 16.
[03:06:39] Speaker B: Oh, sorry.
[03:06:40] Speaker A: So one one hits, right?
[03:06:44] Speaker B: Did you roll both with disadvantage?
[03:06:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:06:47] Speaker B: Oh, yes. Yes. One will hit. Sorry.
[03:06:52] Speaker A: So let's go crab.
[03:06:54] Speaker D: What does it feel like to feel a javelin whiz past my head?
[03:06:59] Speaker B: One. Yeah, boss. One past your head and punches into the wall above you. But then another flies by and slashes into her. So that is going to be a D8. Plus your strength, which is a lot.
Things are getting tense, getting gassy.
I just farted for three seconds straight.
Zach. Cast prestidigitation the Craig way I am sometimes. Plus your strength.
[03:07:36] Speaker C: Sometimes it's a blessing. We don't play in person.
[03:07:43] Speaker B: Did you. Did you. You roll, Micah?
A9. Okay. Okay.
Well, I know you're used to 103 damage, but damage is damage.
A combat where you dealt 103. Hey, you got to have nine in this.
[03:07:57] Speaker A: Can I add, like, 20 points of damage that I've. Like.
[03:08:03] Speaker B: That'S not what we're.
[03:08:04] Speaker A: No. Because I only did that to Star Splinter. Oh, that takes me.
I only did Cosmic Instruments Star Splinter, so I can't use a quench.
[03:08:16] Speaker B: Sorry, my dude.
Okay, nine.
But as you cut her, she's looking weaker and weaker. Craig. Abby, were you raising a hand?
Okay, it's Rose turn.
What are you doing? Actually, you know what?
At the end of Craig's turn, Mana m score is going to use two legendary actions.
[03:08:38] Speaker A: No, she know she.
[03:08:39] Speaker B: It's becoming clear she can't get away from boss.
[03:08:42] Speaker E: I thought she was out.
[03:08:45] Speaker B: Last round. Okay, this is a different amount of combat.
We've had a lot of rounds of combat, though. But here's the thing.
I think.
I think she literally doesn't have us a damage spell that's not necrotic, so she can't get rid of these shadows because everything she has is necrotic.
So actually, no, she's not going to aim this at boss because it doesn't do anything for her. That's crazy.
Yeah, she's, she's just gonna, she's gonna try and hit you, boss, since you're in melee with her with an attack spell. What's your ac?
[03:09:31] Speaker D: My AC Is, Is it a ranged attack or a melee attack?
[03:09:37] Speaker B: No, melee attack.
[03:09:38] Speaker D: Melee attack.
16 plus 2. That's 18 plus 1. 19 plus 1. That's 20. 21.
[03:09:47] Speaker B: You want to have it written down in the spot. Okay, 21.
[03:09:49] Speaker D: No, no. I have my base AC. And then when I have the abilities up the increase that I, I, I.
[03:09:54] Speaker B: Got you my permanent sees in the box.
She rolled really high. She got a 28. Okay, so she's gonna put a fifth level blight down on you.
[03:10:05] Speaker D: I'm in a reaction Spiny shield.
[03:10:09] Speaker B: Excellent.
[03:10:10] Speaker D: Second level.
Gotta figure out how Spiny shield. What is the name of that book?
[03:10:15] Speaker B: It's been a while.
[03:10:16] Speaker D: Thornwood. What is it called?
[03:10:17] Speaker B: Yeah, that's, that's, that's. That, that's from Humblewood.
[03:10:19] Speaker D: Humblewood.
One second. Roll your damage first and then I'll do mine.
[03:10:26] Speaker B: Yes. It's gonna be 98 necrotic damage, boss. Okay.
Very average roll.
That's 10, 20, 32, 5. You take 37 points of necrotic damage.
That's not bad. She's starting to run out of slots.
[03:10:50] Speaker D: How much?
[03:10:52] Speaker B: 37 points of necrotic damage.
[03:10:54] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:10:54] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:10:56] Speaker D: So 37. Let me find.
[03:10:59] Speaker B: Sorry.
[03:10:59] Speaker D: I'm almost to the page with spiny. Why does it always jump 100 pages forward?
[03:11:05] Speaker B: That's okay.
I have Humblewood if you want me to grab a and read it.
[03:11:11] Speaker D: What you say?
[03:11:13] Speaker B: I have Humblewood if you want me to grab it and read it.
[03:11:16] Speaker D: Do you want to find it?
[03:11:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:11:20] Speaker D: Yeah, Feel free.
[03:11:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:11:24] Speaker C: Is that okay? Are you okay? Sounded bad.
[03:11:26] Speaker B: I.
My Humble wood book was at the back of my stack. I knocked over a glass container of pens and there are pens all over the floor. But hey, moving on.
[03:11:36] Speaker C: Is there glass?
Did it break?
[03:11:40] Speaker B: No, I would have had a stronger reaction than that. Spiny shield.
[03:11:43] Speaker D: Oh, 3D4.
[03:11:45] Speaker B: 3D4. There we go.
[03:11:47] Speaker D: So.
Okay. And you have a plot, guys.
No, that's for range attacks only.
[03:11:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[03:11:56] Speaker D: So it deals 8 damage and that amount is reduced from the 36. 7. So that's 29. 29 points of damage.
[03:12:06] Speaker A: That's great.
[03:12:07] Speaker B: You rolled really well on that.
[03:12:09] Speaker A: Three.
[03:12:10] Speaker D: Three two minus eight.
[03:12:19] Speaker B: Oh, she's getting rough.
So as she, as she streaks dark sickness into you, your armor barts out the spines. And stabs her back. She is fighting for her life and on the edge of it.
Ro, did we finish your turn or no? It's your turn.
[03:12:36] Speaker C: I haven't started my turn.
[03:12:38] Speaker B: Okay, your turn.
Tello is on deck.
[03:12:42] Speaker C: Okay, so question. I'm right there by Greta. So she's unconscious, but she's still up in the air, correct?
[03:12:50] Speaker B: Yeah, she's.
She's strong. Hung up right now, unconscious, being choked.
[03:12:57] Speaker C: Can I touch her? Can I reach her?
[03:13:02] Speaker B: Man, what a bad time to be short. How tall are you?
[03:13:06] Speaker C: I'm four foot.
[03:13:09] Speaker B: When you reach your arm up above you, you can touch her foot.
[03:13:13] Speaker C: Okay, that works. That's fine. That works. Zach, all I gotta do is touch her and. And I'm gonna cast cure wounds at the fifth freaking level.
[03:13:25] Speaker B: Okay?
[03:13:26] Speaker E: Oh, wow.
[03:13:30] Speaker C: Which is.
[03:13:32] Speaker B: Oh, Zach, Zack, Zach, Zach.
[03:13:34] Speaker D: Fire shield.
She does fire damage. Sorry, I just realized that.
[03:13:39] Speaker C: True.
[03:13:39] Speaker B: That's true. You have fire shield on. Oh, my goodness.
[03:13:41] Speaker D: I need to put damage for that while y' all doing this so I can add it onto mine.
[03:13:45] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jeez. Lando comes with a lot of rings.
[03:13:51] Speaker D: It's cold damage, yes. No, no, no, no, no. It's regular fire. It's hot damage. Sorry. It's fire damage.
[03:13:58] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:14:04] Speaker C: 28 points of healing goes to Greta.
[03:14:10] Speaker B: 8 points of healing.
[03:14:11] Speaker E: 28. Thank you.
[03:14:14] Speaker C: And then I have a question.
Can you.
Can I cast another spell? If it's a cantrip, yeah.
[03:14:25] Speaker B: If it's a bonus action, yeah.
[03:14:27] Speaker C: Oh, shoot. It's not a bonus.
[03:14:30] Speaker B: Thank you.
[03:14:30] Speaker C: Okay, never mind. Okay.
[03:14:34] Speaker B: As the fire burns against her, she is looking rough.
[03:14:40] Speaker C: Can I do a strategy or arcana check? You tell me which one.
To know or to try and figure out.
If Greta were to be polymorphed, would she slip out of the noose?
[03:15:00] Speaker B: Give me an arcana chakra.
Okay.
[03:15:04] Speaker C: I can't do it right now, but I wanted to get her not unconscious. Oh, it's cocked.
[03:15:11] Speaker B: No.
[03:15:11] Speaker C: Okay. Fell on the floor.
Do you want me to take the roll that was on the floor?
[03:15:19] Speaker B: No, it needs to be an intentional roll.
[03:15:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:15:23] Speaker B: It was a good roll.
[03:15:25] Speaker C: That's a 21.
[03:15:31] Speaker B: Okay, 21.
Ro. Yes. If you polymorphed her into something small enough, she could slip through the news.
[03:15:38] Speaker C: Okay, good to know.
[03:15:39] Speaker E: Okay.
[03:15:40] Speaker C: Okay, Greta, next turn. Next turn. I got you, babe.
[03:15:43] Speaker B: What's he doing?
[03:15:45] Speaker C: At least you're alive.
[03:15:47] Speaker E: It is my turn. Okay. I was gonna try and shoot at her again.
[03:15:51] Speaker B: That's a good idea. Roll the hit.
We've got to get this guy a magical crossbow. How does he not have a magical crossbow.
[03:15:59] Speaker E: How about another.
How about another 11?
[03:16:04] Speaker B: Oh, buddy. Dylan's having such a hard day. He's. He is greatly distressed by Greta in the noose. And he cannot focus and he's trembling and he's got tears in his eyes. Yes, the arrow goes wide.
Punches into the wood.
Okay, Greta, Constitution saving throw.
This is true. The only person to ever go la la la la la while making a constitution save their not dying. What'd you get?
[03:16:47] Speaker A: 12.
[03:16:48] Speaker C: Oh, that was so loud.
[03:16:53] Speaker B: It was so loud.
[03:16:56] Speaker E: I got a 12.
[03:16:58] Speaker B: A 12.
And Greta falls back unconscious being suffocated by the noose you bought her around.
[03:17:11] Speaker D: No.
[03:17:11] Speaker B: Death saves this round, so that's something.
All right, we got.
[03:17:16] Speaker C: We got this, Greta. We got this.
[03:17:18] Speaker E: I'm sorry. This always happens to me.
[03:17:20] Speaker B: Thus we move. It's really tired. Like a whole.
[03:17:23] Speaker C: I think he just cursed by. Bye.
[03:17:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:17:28] Speaker B: You know what it is? You know what it is? Oh, you know what it is?
It's that Greta left the. The corrupted domain and she pissed Bishaba off. The goddess of bad luck.
[03:17:41] Speaker C: Oh, so she gave you all campaign that works. That makes sense.
[03:17:48] Speaker B: Top of initiative in our seventh round of combat which doesn't happen often.
I need somebody to roll me a D Boom.
Nummy, nummy, nummy nummy.
Oh, guys, this is crazy.
[03:18:11] Speaker E: I can't roll. I'm unconscious.
[03:18:14] Speaker D: I rolled a one.
[03:18:17] Speaker B: Okay, that is going to be. Well, one is dark dealings. But since you have dispelled the magical darkness around here, you do not have to do that one which is really freaking good. So I need a reroll.
[03:18:35] Speaker C: You have to have a roll a.
[03:18:37] Speaker B: Layer action goes off. But that one cannot affect.
[03:18:40] Speaker D: It's a four.
[03:18:41] Speaker A: Four.
[03:18:42] Speaker B: Okay, we go back to soul flame which works in Yalls favor because three of you are immune to it.
So my two can sometimes remind me who my two who were not. Were immune.
[03:18:56] Speaker C: What kind of damage is this?
[03:18:58] Speaker D: Tello and Greta are not immune. No, no. Rose not immune as well.
[03:19:01] Speaker A: We are.
[03:19:02] Speaker C: Is it sidekick damaged?
[03:19:03] Speaker E: I. No, I think that. Wait.
[03:19:05] Speaker C: What is it?
[03:19:06] Speaker B: It's Ro. Two of you were not immune. The two who did not save.
[03:19:10] Speaker C: Oh, the two that no I saved the first time.
[03:19:15] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Since all.
Are you sure you did immune?
[03:19:22] Speaker D: Never mind. I'm crazy. I don't remember things. I don't have keen mind.
[03:19:25] Speaker B: I know for sure boss was immune. I remember that.
[03:19:30] Speaker C: So which one is this? What does it do?
[03:19:33] Speaker B: Cuz I. I can't even begin to see what's on your camera, but I think you're pointing to how you're immune to soul flame. So I believe you.
[03:19:41] Speaker E: Got an.
[03:19:44] Speaker A: Hello.
Hello and Reddit. That was.
[03:19:49] Speaker E: No, it's.
[03:19:49] Speaker B: I think it was Tello.
[03:19:52] Speaker C: Yes, it was.
[03:19:54] Speaker B: Because Roe was the one who we had to be able to explain the rule for. Yeah, that's right. That's right.
[03:19:57] Speaker E: I have a pic. Tello is immune. He's on my notes. Tello and Greta immune.
[03:20:03] Speaker B: Okay, so it turns out everyone's immune, and it never happened. And Zach's never DM'd. Here, let's do this.
[03:20:09] Speaker C: I don't think think I'm immune.
[03:20:11] Speaker A: Just.
[03:20:11] Speaker B: No, I know Rose not. I know Rose not. I think Tello's the other one who's not.
Now, Abby, do you have the Tello's immune to soul flame?
[03:20:19] Speaker E: Yes. I just texted you a picture of my notes, which I could have taken.
[03:20:22] Speaker A: Notes wrong.
[03:20:23] Speaker B: I believe you.
[03:20:24] Speaker E: I wrote it down.
[03:20:25] Speaker B: We wrote it down wrong.
Okay, but let's do this.
Rock, paper, scissors. Micah and Abby.
[03:20:36] Speaker E: Oh, don't make me do it.
[03:20:38] Speaker B: Oh, you had to know this is where it was going.
[03:20:40] Speaker E: No, I didn't. Okay, ready, Micah?
[03:20:47] Speaker B: Okay, so it's Tello who's not immune. So I need a charisma saving throw from Tello and a charisma saving throw from Roe.
[03:20:55] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, because the first time I was an owl, so I was not immune.
[03:21:01] Speaker A: Yep.
[03:21:05] Speaker C: That's bad.
I got a 13.
[03:21:13] Speaker B: That's an O.
Both of you. All you fail. Both of you have your hit point maximums reduced by nine.
Actually, Landon, the shadows also have to roll for this because they are souls. So could the three shadows.
[03:21:31] Speaker A: Hold on a second.
Wait, this is the thing. This is the thing. That's for 24 hours.
[03:21:38] Speaker C: Yeah, it was me. It was me and Craig was me.
[03:21:41] Speaker A: It was. Yeah. Oh, that was me.
[03:21:43] Speaker C: It was Row and Craig.
[03:21:44] Speaker B: Okay, then after all that work.
Hey, here we are.
Abby was right. Excellent.
So Craig is down 9. Not your head. Point Max is reduced by 9. Row as well. Boz, could you give me charisma saving throws for the three shadows.
[03:22:05] Speaker D: That is 4, 6, and 16.
[03:22:11] Speaker B: Okay, so the last one saves, but the 4 and 6 fail their HP. How much? How many hit points do they have?
16.
Okay, so the first two are down by nine and can't go back up. Okay. If that matters. Okay. Anyway, moving on.
Boz, you're up in initiative. What are you doing?
[03:22:32] Speaker D: Oz is going to.
[03:22:37] Speaker B: Oh, man.
[03:22:41] Speaker D: He's going to take him his scimitar.
[03:22:46] Speaker B: Okay. Your silver scimitar.
[03:22:49] Speaker D: His silver.
Brand new silvered scimitar.
And He's. He's going to, like, put a hand in her shoulder and try to drive it just right into her chest.
[03:23:03] Speaker E: Oh, wow.
[03:23:03] Speaker B: That's sick. Roll the hit.
[03:23:09] Speaker D: And druids with scimitars use decks instead of strength. Right, like that. That is.
[03:23:17] Speaker B: I don't think. I don't think class changes the feature you use for it.
[03:23:20] Speaker D: No, no, it does, because, yeah, druids use decks for scimitars.
[03:23:27] Speaker B: I mean, if you can maybe.
[03:23:32] Speaker D: Yes, yes.
Oh, it's a finesse weapon.
[03:23:36] Speaker B: It's a finesse weapon. So that's not specific to druids. It's a finesse.
[03:23:39] Speaker D: Okay, okay.
[03:23:40] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:23:40] Speaker B: Anybody?
[03:23:41] Speaker D: Yeah, that is.
That is a 22 to hit.
[03:23:48] Speaker B: Yeah. Pause. A 22 will hit roll damage for me. D6 plus Dex.
[03:23:57] Speaker D: That is a four plus five. That is nine, nine.
Nine damage.
And it's silver that matters.
[03:24:07] Speaker B: It freaking does.
If you had not silvered that weapon, it would have been half damage. But because you silvered it, her resistance does not overcome it. So that is awesome, Boz. What an investment of 30 gold. So, boss, what about slash through her?
You take off nine more hit points, and she looks like she's at death's door. As the dark purple blood sputters over your arm. She grabs you by the neck and she pulls you close, and she gets close to you, blood pouring out of her mouth and through her teeth and down her tongue. She just pulls you in and she says, the victory you win today is a precursor to the fate you wouldn't let me deny.
You'll all burn before the hate King.
[03:24:53] Speaker D: And then I cast vicious mockery and I say.
[03:25:01] Speaker A: I don't know.
[03:25:01] Speaker D: What do I say this moment? Bo. Bo looks into her face and says, I don't know, your breath stinks. Or something like that. Like.
[03:25:16] Speaker B: She got a. She got a 27 on that. So she just spits thick blood back in your face.
[03:25:24] Speaker D: I call her babe. I said, I say your breath stinks, babe.
[03:25:29] Speaker B: That's good. That's good. That's good. That's a lot of full circle.
[03:25:33] Speaker D: And now that it's her turn, she has to roll con save and take 66.
[03:25:37] Speaker C: She does.
[03:25:41] Speaker B: That is really, really high.
Yeah. 23. Yeah, she's.
[03:25:48] Speaker D: She saves all that damage.
25 total. So that's 12.
[03:26:03] Speaker B: Pause as there is a radiant burst of fire and light.
She screeches and flings. She's like, scraping her hands on the shelves. And I. Items are falling down. Glass items are breaking. She's burning with fire. And when she stops, she's clinging to life. Gripping the side, barely hanging one arm falls limp.
[03:26:22] Speaker A: She.
[03:26:23] Speaker B: You've brought her down to single digits.
[03:26:25] Speaker D: Oh, the one doesn't even matter. It's okay. Go to the next turn.
There's a fire, but it's okay.
[03:26:35] Speaker B: Okay. Thank you, Lando.
So close.
It's M Score's turn.
She is out of circle of deaths. She has no 6th, 7th or 8th level spell slots yet. She can't do any more bite attack Combat is.
She can't power word pain.
There's no point in Howl of the Hag or Harrowing Choir that this point.
Yeah, that's what she's got.
Who does she hate?
[03:27:18] Speaker A: Me.
[03:27:19] Speaker B: Greta's already being choked.
Maybe you're doing fine. She's not dumb. She's desperate, but she's not dumb.
She's gonna aim at Ro of worst.
[03:27:30] Speaker C: And we're gonna put down healing Greta.
[03:27:32] Speaker E: He doesn't even know Ro.
[03:27:35] Speaker C: Yeah. What the heck?
[03:27:36] Speaker B: She's been watching. Well, actually not that long. You got the necklace on. Oh, Ro's the one who keeps you from watching everybody.
[03:27:42] Speaker C: That's why she hates me.
[03:27:46] Speaker B: She points out at you Ro, and she says, I'm gonna die today.
But your souls are all damned. And as she points, these dark ribbons of black energy reach out at you. She's going to target you with negative energy flood. I need a constitution saving.
[03:28:04] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:28:07] Speaker C: Okay.
Can I react.
[03:28:12] Speaker B: With a constitution saving throw?
[03:28:15] Speaker C: No, I'm. Wait, hold on. Well, I forget how reactions work. Zach.
[03:28:20] Speaker B: Zachary. Zachary.
[03:28:21] Speaker D: Zachary. Wait.
Zachary.
The shadow. Can I please attack with the sh. Can they please roll the hit?
[03:28:28] Speaker C: What?
[03:28:30] Speaker D: Please.
[03:28:31] Speaker B: What?
[03:28:34] Speaker D: Please?
[03:28:36] Speaker B: I feel very split because on the one hand, the way we've always done it is that when we forget, we move on. And it also really takes away this moment of tension.
I'll tell you what.
[03:28:51] Speaker D: Okay, all right. That sounds fair.
[03:28:53] Speaker B: Let's roll for it.
Well, I always like a random chance. That feels very dnd.
Odds are even, boss.
[03:29:01] Speaker D: Do you even have to ask Zachary?
[03:29:04] Speaker A: No.
[03:29:06] Speaker B: Because you're an odd guy.
[03:29:07] Speaker D: That's true.
[03:29:10] Speaker B: That is a four. It's okay.
I am sorry.
But hey, I feel you. It's the curse of the Cloak. It is. It cannot be remembered. It's the rules.
[03:29:23] Speaker C: Okay, okay, so I did a con save. I know I failed it. So it. My. My reaction I wanted to use was. It says when an enemy creature succeeds with a magical attack against you, I'll be able to use. Okay, so. So I got a two.
Which is really bad.
[03:29:44] Speaker D: What?
[03:29:48] Speaker C: So I'm gonna use my reaction to. To do harmonic Reconstruction. Yes, sir.
I have one left.
Which means I make an ability check with my spellcasting modifier. Fire, the DC of which is equal to 30, minus your bard level. So that'd be 15, right?
[03:30:09] Speaker B: 16.
[03:30:10] Speaker C: Yeah, 16. Okay, so I gotta get a 16. And I add. I just add straight charisma, correct?
[03:30:17] Speaker B: Yeah, straight charisma. So roll a D20, add charisma.
[03:30:21] Speaker C: So I gotta get 10, right? Okay, here we go, here we go, here we go.
[03:30:26] Speaker B: So this is literally a 50. 50.
[03:30:29] Speaker C: I got a 19.
[03:30:33] Speaker B: Okay, so you succeed.
[03:30:35] Speaker C: I succeed. Which means if I succeed, I reduce the amount of damage that I receive by my bard level plus spell casting modifier.
[03:30:45] Speaker B: So that's 20.
[03:30:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[03:30:49] Speaker B: 19. No, 19.
[03:30:51] Speaker C: No, I have plus five.
Oh, but we're 14.
[03:30:54] Speaker B: 19. 14. Plus five. Yeah, 19.
That's good. You're going to need it.
[03:30:57] Speaker C: And reform this.
[03:30:58] Speaker B: And negative energy flood.
With negative energy flood, you. You're going to take 5d12 necrotic damage.
If this reduces you to zero.
[03:31:11] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:31:15] Speaker C: 5D12.
[03:31:16] Speaker B: If this reduces you to zero, you become a zombie.
Oh. And then you're an undead.
You cannot be revived.
[03:31:27] Speaker E: Oh, my God.
I can't.
[03:31:35] Speaker B: Good time to use that feature.
[03:31:38] Speaker C: So do I just go ahead and add the plus, or do you. Are you gonna subtract the 19?
[03:31:44] Speaker B: I. I'll subtract the 19. Oh, hold.
Jackie, how many hit points do you have?
[03:32:07] Speaker C: I turned my sheet over because I was scared.
I have 47 hit points.
[03:32:19] Speaker B: You definitely survive 32 damage. Minus 19.
Oh, wait. Yeah. Minus 19 results in 13 necrotic damage. So you survive.
[03:32:32] Speaker E: That was so scary.
[03:32:33] Speaker B: Take. You take 13 necrotic damage.
[03:32:37] Speaker C: Could I.
I don't know if I'm allowed to do this since you already told me I survived.
[03:32:46] Speaker B: Maybe we'll just give him data.
[03:32:48] Speaker C: Well, I can divide that. So I was wondering if I could give a few of those to Greta.
[03:32:54] Speaker B: No, no, you can totally do that.
[03:32:56] Speaker C: Okay, Can I. Can I just split it in half with Greta? Yeah, and give her. Give her nine of those hit points. Okay. And I'll just take 10.
[03:33:07] Speaker B: You're up with nine hit points with the worst possible revival. You're. You're. You're awoken back to being suffocated by a noose again.
[03:33:18] Speaker C: Wait, so how many. Hold on. So how many did I take? I took 32.
[03:33:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[03:33:24] Speaker C: Minus 10.
[03:33:26] Speaker B: Minus 10. 20 comes down to 13.
So then you divide it by two. Oh, yeah.
[03:33:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[03:33:31] Speaker B: So night. Well, but you reduced by 19, so you could. You could give nine to each of you. Yeah, that's Correct. That's correct.
[03:33:36] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:33:36] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:33:36] Speaker C: Okay, so wait, so how many did I lose? Because I'm trying to figure out what I'm at.
[03:33:41] Speaker B: Girl. 13. You lost 13?
[03:33:43] Speaker C: I lost 13. Okay.
[03:33:44] Speaker B: Oh, actually, you know what? Hold on, hold on, hold on. No, no, you're right, because I was assuming all those were going back to you. So actually, 19 down, you're giving nine to Greta. So actually, functionally, it's like you lost 23. Yes. Sorry. I'm with you. You were fast.
[03:33:58] Speaker C: Fine.
[03:33:59] Speaker B: Craig, it's your turn.
[03:34:00] Speaker C: I just want Greta to be up too. Okay, cool.
[03:34:03] Speaker B: What are you doing? Love it.
[03:34:04] Speaker C: I love it. Oh, that was scary.
[03:34:08] Speaker E: I was so scared.
[03:34:10] Speaker A: Liam, I have a question player.
[03:34:13] Speaker B: I have an answer.
[03:34:14] Speaker A: Is the noose magical or is it just like a. A noose? Like, is it a spell or is it a noose?
[03:34:20] Speaker B: It's floating.
It's floating and suffocating her. It looks very magical.
[03:34:26] Speaker A: Okay, so it's not real.
It's not like rope.
[03:34:34] Speaker B: Your magical sword is. Sword.
This looks very real.
Looks like a magic item.
[03:34:44] Speaker A: I am going to use my walking speed to get across. Okay.
[03:34:49] Speaker B: So this is difficult terrain. So that takes 20. So then you go to here. Five.
You're right there.
So that's the pile of sand.
[03:34:57] Speaker A: Okay.
And then what's the distance between me and Greta?
[03:35:06] Speaker B: 10Ft. No.
What are you trying to use?
[03:35:15] Speaker A: Well, I. Because we're at 14th level now, I looked. I have the ability where I can use an action to end one spell on myself or another creature willing that I can touch.
[03:35:29] Speaker B: You can give me an arcana as.
[03:35:30] Speaker E: Well as on the rope, not the creature.
[03:35:34] Speaker A: Okay.
[03:35:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
I mean, yeah. You're also not in range to touch her.
[03:35:40] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I. I'm gonna switch up the plan. I'm just going.
I. Since I am.
Am I within 30ft or am I. Can I.
Is me. Score. She's more than 30ft away from me, isn't she?
[03:35:58] Speaker B: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. Yeah, yeah.
[03:36:01] Speaker A: She's like, okay, I want to cast.
I'm gonna cast. What is it?
[03:36:10] Speaker B: I love that spell.
[03:36:12] Speaker A: Guardian of faith.
[03:36:16] Speaker B: Okay.
Okay, sure.
[03:36:23] Speaker A: Just gonna put them. Put them right there.
We're gonna put them right there.
[03:36:28] Speaker B: Now, you and I both inherently know where right there is, but just for everybody else.
[03:36:33] Speaker A: Well, like at the right beside madam square, the 30ft edge part, like, far out. As far out as I can.
[03:36:41] Speaker B: She can put it 30ft forward.
[03:36:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:36:46] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:36:47] Speaker A: Now is it that every time the creature tries to move, or is it like if it's within the 10ft.
[03:36:56] Speaker B: I'll tell you what, how about this? How about this? Before I clarify what the spell does for you are you're definitely casting the spell or you are not?
Just.
[03:37:04] Speaker A: I'm 100% sure I'm casting that spell. Guardian. Faith.
[03:37:06] Speaker B: Yeah. Hovers and guardian. The Guardian occupies the space. And indistinct except for gleaming. Any creature hostile to you that moves to a space within 10ft of the Guardian takes damage.
[03:37:16] Speaker A: But it. Within me or the Guardian.
[03:37:19] Speaker B: The Guardian.
[03:37:20] Speaker A: So it's within 10ft.
Does it just take image?
[03:37:26] Speaker B: Yeah, cuz she's 45ft away from. Yes, yes.
Okay, so you put the Guardian of Faith, this spiritual spectral being just appears. Craig. What does it look like as you summon it?
[03:37:41] Speaker A: I'm going to look at her and I'm just going to be like.
Enjoy your last few seconds.
[03:37:51] Speaker B: I love as your eyes flash with gold Craig. No, but what does your Guardian of faith look like? What does the being you summon?
[03:38:00] Speaker A: I'm gonna say that he looks. It's a he.
He looks like Craig. If Craig were celestial.
[03:38:08] Speaker B: Oh, stick.
And this 10 tall, spectral, golden celestial Craig appears.
[03:38:15] Speaker A: Yeah. And like his.
But he's wearing a cape. This Craig is wearing like a big long.
It's like flowing and like his hair like it looks like it's like zero gravity.
[03:38:29] Speaker C: Craig.
[03:38:30] Speaker A: Celestial.
[03:38:31] Speaker B: Yes.
Phenomenal, Mike. I adore it. Okay, creature.
[03:38:41] Speaker A: Okay, so on Madame Score's turn, she should gain.
There should be like.
[03:38:47] Speaker C: Yeah.
[03:38:47] Speaker B: Okay, so she'll have to make a deck save on her turn. Okay.
[03:38:51] Speaker A: Is that the last thing?
[03:38:56] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay, that's your action. Do you have any bonus actions, Craig.
[03:39:03] Speaker E: Punch.
[03:39:05] Speaker A: No.
[03:39:07] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:39:08] Speaker A: Oh, wait, wait, wait. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I. There's a way I can heal. I'm trying to find it on my.
[03:39:17] Speaker B: Is it lay on hands or is.
[03:39:18] Speaker A: It a spell can I.
I can bless. Oh, that's an action. Gosh dang it. Okay, never mind.
Whatever.
[03:39:30] Speaker B: Okay. All right, Ro, it's your turn. Goy.
[03:39:34] Speaker C: Okay, so I. Bonus action healing potion.
And.
[03:39:42] Speaker B: How many of those you. You're using all of them?
[03:39:44] Speaker C: Well, I had three on me. Hey, I will buy us more.
[03:39:50] Speaker E: Yeah, you bought them, Ro.
[03:39:51] Speaker A: They're yours.
[03:39:55] Speaker C: Okay. And I. I got 33 points of healing, so I'm back up to 57. And now I'm going to look at Greta and I'm going to polymorph her into a cute little bat with a teeny tiny neck so that she can fly up out of there.
And Greta, like green and gold freckles.
[03:40:23] Speaker B: Like Greta, as you are as you are turned into a bat with a.
From the loot. The noose. Just.
And you are out of the noose.
[03:40:33] Speaker C: I'll send you the bat snacks, Greta.
[03:40:36] Speaker E: Thank you. You hear the bat? Take a big breath.
[03:40:43] Speaker B: It's tiny little nose. It goes.
Tello is up.
[03:40:48] Speaker E: Oh, goodness gracious.
[03:40:49] Speaker B: He rolling to hit.
[03:40:50] Speaker E: He just wants to get one more shot in. Oh, yeah. Come on, Tello.
[03:40:53] Speaker B: Do it, Tello.
[03:40:54] Speaker E: Oh, man.
Well, how does a. How does a 14.
[03:41:04] Speaker D: Abby.
[03:41:04] Speaker B: What?
[03:41:05] Speaker D: What?
[03:41:05] Speaker B: What do you roll on the die?
[03:41:07] Speaker E: I rolled a seven.
[03:41:09] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[03:41:10] Speaker B: Okay.
[03:41:12] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[03:41:13] Speaker E: Okay.
[03:41:14] Speaker B: Jello's luck has run out. Okay? He just desperately. He, like, he's going to fire. And then right when he does, Ro polymorphs you. And as you slip out of the noose, he exhales. And then he's like.
[03:41:24] Speaker A: Oh.
[03:41:24] Speaker B: And he was like, not paying attention to the bolt by. In the wood.
And he's. He's cursing very angrily and violently in insinion. All right, Greta, you're a bat, and it's your turn. What are you doing?
[03:41:39] Speaker E: I want so badly to go bite her, but I. I don't want to die.
[03:41:44] Speaker B: It could be funny, but it's probably not a good idea. But it could be funny.
[03:41:48] Speaker E: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go hide in a corner.
[03:41:52] Speaker B: Excellent. 30 flying. You're over here and you just tuck behind a bookcase like. That's enough.
[03:41:57] Speaker E: You've done enough to. I'm upside down.
Upside down.
[03:42:03] Speaker B: Yeah, you can.
[03:42:05] Speaker C: Echo leash.
[03:42:07] Speaker B: We are moving into our eighth round of combat. It will likely end here, but we're moving in our eighth round of combat. I need somebody to roll me a D4.
[03:42:16] Speaker E: No, I forgot about this evil, evil thing.
[03:42:19] Speaker A: I'll do it.
[03:42:21] Speaker B: Do it. My gun.
[03:42:23] Speaker A: Hey, guys.
[03:42:25] Speaker C: Where's my D4?
[03:42:28] Speaker A: I'm sorry. I've gotten a two every single time I rolled.
[03:42:36] Speaker B: As the new loosens.
[03:42:39] Speaker E: No.
[03:42:40] Speaker B: Toward a new target.
It has to.
And you know what? Craig is now in range, so Miscore flicks her finger. Craig, I need a dexterity saving throw.
[03:42:51] Speaker C: Come on, Craig.
I hate this news.
[03:42:55] Speaker A: I get.
[03:42:56] Speaker B: You could say it's a nuisance.
[03:42:59] Speaker A: Pretty sure I get.
[03:43:09] Speaker B: What you get.
[03:43:10] Speaker A: Yeah, I get.
I get. Good. Okay.
[03:43:13] Speaker B: Hold on.
Okay, good.
[03:43:17] Speaker A: Don't need it. That's D20.
[03:43:21] Speaker B: What? Yeah.
[03:43:25] Speaker A: I didn't need the advantage that I have. I have it. I. Well, the D20 was.
[03:43:30] Speaker B: Micah, you don't have. You don't have advantage on dexterity saves. That was a barbarian feature.
[03:43:34] Speaker A: No, I. I did because the bottle talent. Because I Took two bottle talents.
[03:43:39] Speaker B: You took a bottle. Talent for dexterity saves.
[03:43:42] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:43:43] Speaker B: That's awesome. Forget I totally forgot about that. That's awesome. Okay.
[03:43:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
[03:43:49] Speaker B: Awesome. Awesome.
So wait, right now you have advantage on con Dex and charisma. That's crazy. And that's right.
[03:43:56] Speaker A: You're right.
[03:43:57] Speaker B: That's awesome. Okay, so what'd you get?
[03:44:00] Speaker E: Micah's so smart and wise and dexterous.
[03:44:03] Speaker A: I got a 21.
[03:44:06] Speaker B: And Craig, as you duck down over your head, Micah, you have been the MVP today. Dude.
[03:44:15] Speaker A: Dude.
[03:44:15] Speaker B: It's crazy. This is Craig's day. Okay, first up is boss. What are you doing? Boss?
[03:44:20] Speaker C: Come on, Buzz, finish this.
[03:44:25] Speaker B: Boss is gonna.
[03:44:26] Speaker D: I have no spells left. That's just hilarious. I have first level spells scimitar. And just do it again and just. Just like shove it just like. Just like upwards into her and try to.
[03:44:38] Speaker B: Okay, roll.
[03:44:44] Speaker D: That is a.
That is a 21, right?
[03:44:49] Speaker B: Okay, roll for damage.
What is the damage?
[03:44:55] Speaker D: D6 plus 5.
No, 23 because it's a plus 2 to attack rolls with the scimitar.
The silvered. You said it was plus. No. Why did I write that?
[03:45:05] Speaker B: It's not a magical weapon. But it is silvered.
[03:45:08] Speaker D: Why is it plus two? I don't know why I wrote that down.
I'll adjust that.
[03:45:12] Speaker B: Sorry.
[03:45:12] Speaker D: 1D6.Plus5.Plus5.
[03:45:15] Speaker B: Which is still great.
Okay, that especially for a non melee character.
[03:45:19] Speaker D: 9.
[03:45:23] Speaker B: How do you want to do this?
[03:45:25] Speaker D: Oh my gosh. Finally.
[03:45:28] Speaker B: Oh, wow. I was really hoping for more excitement from.
[03:45:30] Speaker D: No, like this campaign.
I. I meant like through like the whole campaign. Not like this combat.
[03:45:38] Speaker B: Exactly.
[03:45:39] Speaker D: Not what I meant.
[03:45:39] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[03:45:40] Speaker D: I. He doesn't say anything. He just holds her stare until the light leaves her eyes.
[03:45:45] Speaker E: Oh, wow.
[03:45:47] Speaker D: And she drops to the floor like until she can no longer hold herself up on the bookshelves.
[03:45:52] Speaker B: I can't keep not rewarding. All these sick lines you're dropping. Take inspiration. I. I can't hold on to it anymore.
Vaaz, as you.
As you grip her there, you like grab her by the neck and you just.
And Madam Niscor, the mistress of the dark magical menagerie who has haunted magic lane for centuries, who rose to high position within the coven crown and fled it. It was twisted and warped a hundred lives.
Is killed with a non magical blade in her own shop.
Ms. Boz, you just.
With the scimitar. And as you pull it back out the blood.
And she just.
To the ground as she falls to the floor.
All of the candelabras fall to the bottom.
All of the candles.
Snuffs. Out, the shop goes completely dark. And that is where we will end. Episode 164 of the Accidental Adventures.
Okay, that was a very, very, very, very long first session. We're gonna go on a short break and then we're gonna come back very quickly.
All of you gain 0.195 levels.
There's a lot of xp.
0.195.
[03:47:22] Speaker A: That was it. Two episodes.
[03:47:24] Speaker B: That was one, actually. No, 0.197 because I said I'd give you 0.192.
So. 0.197.197.1977.
[03:47:33] Speaker D: The next one is going to be quite short. I imagine it's not going to be a full episode, but just.
[03:47:37] Speaker B: Yes, it's also. If you just wanted to leave, it's gonna be like looting the shop and role playing.
[03:47:42] Speaker C: We are at.
We are at 14.774, y'.
[03:47:48] Speaker A: All.
[03:47:49] Speaker D: What did you say? 774.
[03:47:51] Speaker C: Yes, sir.
[03:47:55] Speaker B: 14.774. All right, we are not going to tack too much more onto this because we don't have a lot of time for the second session. So, listeners, that was crazy.
