[00:00:03] Speaker A: Hi, everybody. Welcome back. [00:00:19] Speaker B: Question for today is, what would you favorite craft if they, like, had a craft like. Like knitting, sewing, cooking. Oh, it can't be seen because that's your job. [00:00:37] Speaker C: What would your test is? [00:00:39] Speaker B: Okay. Can't be beekeeping. [00:00:41] Speaker A: Who is the. Who is the DMN PC? [00:00:44] Speaker B: I really want to know. Salgi. [00:00:47] Speaker C: Me too. [00:00:48] Speaker A: Saul, key. The fathom witch. Okay, understood. Will do. Okay. Saul Geen. The fathom witch it is. I will answer hers. That's fun. Okay. Yes. Let's start with Boz. [00:01:04] Speaker C: He would do carpentry as he knows it, but just pegs. Just pegs and things. That's all he knows how to do. That would be his hobby. He'd be like. He'd be thinking. Be very helpful. [00:01:12] Speaker A: Oh, I can do that. [00:01:12] Speaker C: Here, let me put a peg in that for you. I know how to do this. [00:01:14] Speaker A: Don't worry. [00:01:16] Speaker C: None of them are the same size. Slightly looser, tighter. It's not very good, but he think he likes it. He likes the process. [00:01:25] Speaker A: Jackie. I just read the thing, and it's excellent. Oh, okay. Yes. [00:01:31] Speaker D: Can I go. [00:01:33] Speaker A: Especially with that? [00:01:38] Speaker D: I really liked that. Landon, I'm gonna one up you. [00:01:43] Speaker C: So Big Mike. Santa, watch out. [00:01:47] Speaker D: So Craig, in his older age. This is old Craig, specifically, he would find rocks and then paint them for the nursing home's garden. So he would. [00:02:02] Speaker A: That was a really sweet answer. [00:02:05] Speaker D: Find, like, really smooth rocks. Like, he's trying to, like. His goal is to find smooth rocks and, like, paint them like canvases and put them in the gardens. [00:02:16] Speaker A: I just realized that I forgot to tie my shorts after coming back from the bathroom. That's great, Micah. That's awesome. What? Good for you, bro. [00:02:27] Speaker B: Good for you, Jackie. [00:02:29] Speaker A: I'm drinking. I'm drinking the. The Proper 12 whiskey you got me. It's really great. [00:02:34] Speaker E: It's in a grain bottle. For the last. [00:02:36] Speaker A: I think I'd like to live the rest of. I Actually, all jokes aside, I think I'm gonna keep this bottle. I don't keep bottles, but I think I'm gonna keep this one because it is a green bottle. [00:02:44] Speaker E: Cool. [00:02:45] Speaker A: Everyone can get me alcohol and dice the rest of my life. [00:02:51] Speaker E: Noise. That's what I got you for your birthday this year, huh? [00:02:55] Speaker A: And it was deeply appreciated. All right. What's rose. What's Rose craft? [00:03:04] Speaker E: She would. I think she would take up, like, baking or cooking if she ever, like, was at a place in her life that she could like, that she had, like, a place where she could do that. I know it's, like, kind of hard to find places. But, like, I think she would love to, like, just bake and try things. Sorry, I'm reading. And try. Try making recipes and all. I think she would really enjoy that. Just, like, cooking and. And coming up with different food. Foods and recipes. [00:03:41] Speaker A: I like that a lot. Yeah, I like that a lot. And that feels very row. In a strange way. [00:03:48] Speaker D: Wait, what's her favorite recipe? [00:03:53] Speaker B: Probably. [00:03:55] Speaker E: Like. Probably like some kind of, like, lavender vanilla cake, like some fancy bread cake, croissant thing or something. I don't know. [00:04:08] Speaker D: Okay, That's a good croissant. [00:04:15] Speaker F: Greta, what's your. [00:04:19] Speaker B: Greta's craft? I. I think that Greta would get really into also, I think cooking, but I think that she would. I don't know. I don't think, like, maybe like, medicine. [00:04:56] Speaker E: Like. [00:04:57] Speaker B: Like, like homeschool mom. Apothecary, but not homeschool. You know what I mean? [00:05:05] Speaker C: Essential oils. Essential oils. [00:05:08] Speaker A: Homeschool mom. Medicine brings back unpleasant memories. [00:05:10] Speaker B: No, it wouldn't be home. It would be like. Like, she would be really into, like, going to. [00:05:17] Speaker C: Oh, just a lot of ivermectin. Is that what you're saying? [00:05:20] Speaker B: No, she'd be really into going to dorm, reading everything in a book of, like, ancient medicine and herbalism and, like, ancient travel recipes. And then. [00:05:41] Speaker D: What? [00:05:42] Speaker E: That's cool. Abby. [00:05:44] Speaker A: Oh, I thought we interrupted Abby, but she was just done. [00:05:46] Speaker E: I'm so sorry. [00:05:47] Speaker A: She stopped listeners. We were having a very inane conversation in the chat, and Micah said, I put the meat in the vegan, and I don't put meat in the vegan. And I don't know what the context was, but that said it was wild. Not I put meat in the vegan food. I put meat in the vegan. That's crazy. Oh, that was getting me. [00:06:11] Speaker D: That's what you were laughing about. Okay. [00:06:15] Speaker A: I think Saul Geen very ardently and all jokes aside, makes little knickknacks out of the bones. I think she has a lot of time in there, and you can only spend so much time. You can only spend so much time crafting plots and being villainous and trying to kill people. That's hundreds, if not thousands of years. You have to spend the time some other way. And I think she gets little bundles of sinew and skin and bone. And I think she makes the weird little dolls. I think she has a couple that talk to each other and they go like this. And then I think every once in a while, she makes the little sinew bone dolls. Go kiss. You know, and now she's a rock her. [00:06:56] Speaker E: And Mr. The Mr. Kitty Cat man would get along with their bone. With their bone hobby. They'd like to talk bones. [00:07:07] Speaker A: She's over there going. And he's over there going, meow. [00:07:13] Speaker E: Hey. They're an odd couple, but I think it would work. [00:07:17] Speaker A: This is what we call compulsive shipping. This is a shipping compulsion. Okay, well, without further ado, episode 141 of the Accidental Adventures. And this is where things get weird. I have two different titles for this session and I can't figure out which one to name it. And usually I don't tell you. I pick one and then tell you based on what happens. I'm going to tell you guys both and you're gonna know by the end of the session which one it was. This is either episode 141 incredulous credit or this is episode 141. Familiar, strange, interesting. Both are paradoxical. Which also takes me back to when the second Ben 10 show had a mad scientist named Paradox and I was like, oh, that's so clever. Then I got a little older. I guess that's the mildly clever. [00:08:13] Speaker B: That is so clever. Wow. Paradox. Is he a mad doctor? Incredible. It's the best thing I've ever heard. [00:08:22] Speaker A: Fun. [00:08:22] Speaker F: Guys. [00:08:24] Speaker A: You are in the. This is a new one. I gotta. I got a bunch of new music lately and I'm actually gonna get more. Wow. Okay, so there's another side conversation going on in chat, but I have to comment on something really quickly and it's not what. So. Micah. Micah. Message. Hey, do you remember what I hated? Goober. And she spelled it S C H P H E H E O O B O U R. Which is. And then she responded with. [00:09:18] Speaker D: I just like to say if you don't know how to spell something, just commit. You know, just commit to that. Like that's so true. If you don't know how to spell something correctly or you're kind of in doubt, just don't. You know. [00:09:31] Speaker A: I'm actually. [00:09:31] Speaker D: That's why I failed classes. [00:09:32] Speaker A: For another moment. Fun guys. You're in the bottom of the drown. Keep the moment that Saul pet Micah. [00:09:41] Speaker E: Stop. [00:09:41] Speaker A: Dude. Second, why are you funnier than all of us put together? The moment Sagin petrifies all. Collapsing in the layer begins drifting to the floor and all the dead bodies back to the floor. And you also notice that you all have an easier time swimming up or moving backward. It seems like every last other than it's dark in here. Every last layer condition ends. [00:10:16] Speaker D: I have a question. [00:10:18] Speaker A: Yes. Yes. [00:10:20] Speaker D: What happened to the Dead bodies. [00:10:24] Speaker A: They are there. [00:10:25] Speaker E: Are they still, like, they're not dancing? [00:10:30] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. Yeah. All the silt has fallen. [00:10:33] Speaker D: Oh. [00:10:36] Speaker A: Don'T. [00:10:40] Speaker C: The bodies fell to the ground, and you're like, what about the bodies? Did they fall with such passion? [00:10:51] Speaker A: That was only. I liked. I was like, that's fine. That's fin. But then it was landed very slowly, hiding his face away. [00:11:01] Speaker D: I don't understand what's happening socially right now. [00:11:05] Speaker A: Session two, Energy the body, episode two. [00:11:10] Speaker F: Energy. [00:11:13] Speaker A: And then. And then in the moment, all the bodies in the chamber go. [00:11:18] Speaker C: Start doing that dance. [00:11:19] Speaker A: And then they start doing a different kind of dancing. [00:11:21] Speaker C: So now one of us has to stay here and be the fathom witch, you guys. [00:11:25] Speaker A: And if not, there always has to be another. [00:11:30] Speaker B: Tempted by this that she. She knows better. [00:11:34] Speaker A: Said can't fool me twice. Oh, my goodness. Okay, what's the party doing? Saline is there frozen in stone. [00:11:44] Speaker D: Or. [00:11:44] Speaker E: Whatever the thing is, the weather thing, we just gotta find. I sure hope it wasn't on her. [00:11:51] Speaker A: I love. I love that moments ago, the party was in a fight for their lives against an epic witch. And the moment she's dead, everyone's like, oh, my goodness, guys, we're so goofy. Where's the book? Was it a book? Books came in water. You. [00:12:03] Speaker C: That thing where you see magic, see if maybe you find it. [00:12:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, I'm sorry, Abby, whoever you are. Jammy. [00:12:14] Speaker B: Oh, is it. [00:12:15] Speaker A: Oh, okay. And then Craig. [00:12:16] Speaker D: And then he, like, lets out a little fart and then like the. It's just bubbles, but the bubbles, like, start rolling and like. [00:12:29] Speaker A: Let'S out. [00:12:30] Speaker B: Leave the room. So they're just stuck at the top of the. [00:12:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:12:36] Speaker A: A little bit of dense, congealed, gaseous methane somewhere in the plasma phase out from his armor. You guys go. You watch it. You watch as Craig goes. And as the bubbles float up, they just float together at the top. And you watch as a tiny crustacean floating on the ceiling just dies, falls down to the bottom of the chamber and chokes to death. [00:13:03] Speaker D: Can I say that the crustacean was possessed by my forest and the ghost of finds. [00:13:08] Speaker C: Guys, let's find this weather vein. [00:13:10] Speaker D: Yeah. So the divine. The divine sense. [00:13:14] Speaker B: What? [00:13:15] Speaker C: Okay. [00:13:15] Speaker A: As you cast, detect magic. [00:13:17] Speaker D: Detect magic. [00:13:19] Speaker A: As you either cast detect magic or have diarrhea in a full plate food at the bottom. [00:13:24] Speaker E: Please don't have underwater with you, Craig. [00:13:30] Speaker A: Your. Your senses reach out from you. Landon said, I've had enough of this nonsense. I actually realized that I need to open up the last session document that I closed and Craig you do get a couple of magical pings. First of all, before I even describe that, walking around the space, you guys realize that there are valuables here. They're scattered and they're just kind of all over the place. But the dead bodies here have been looted. You realize that Salgin has kind of. She's made little piles under and around bodies of goods. She has a very strange system of organization. And you realize that also she's brought in what she perceived to be treasures from the shipwrecks. So whoever wants to search for those things can give me an investigation check. And then, Craig, you do pick up two magical things on your pings. And we'll come back to that. We'll address the basic treasures, and then we'll come back to that. So who's looking for little treasures? [00:14:34] Speaker B: I am. I'm my investigation. [00:14:37] Speaker E: I mean, my inspiration, Rose, staying away from it. She doesn't feel right taking steps. Stuff off of these bodies that have been down here for so long. [00:14:46] Speaker B: I do want to know Greta. Okay, I got a 18. I do want to know that Greta cast guidance on herself. Not for any, like, mechanical benefit benefit, but just as like a little bit of help to not feel so sad and also disgusted. She's, it's, it's like complicated emotions. Like disgusted about this, but also like mournful for the loss of life. So she's just, she's just like in a task, guidance just to like have some as. [00:15:16] Speaker A: She's kind of calming her self soothing. [00:15:18] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:18] Speaker A: Yeah, arcanely self soothing. And as much as this is a victory, this is a morbid space. [00:15:25] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:26] Speaker A: I mean, you all are standing in a mass grave, a mass violent grave, and you can still tell that there are all these dead bodies with the hearts ripped out of them. So, Boz, with your 16 investigation, Tello is helping you. Going around, you find all of the bullion in the chamber. You find 108 copper kind of scattered around. Let me know when you're ready for the next quantity. Okay. 231 silver, which is a fair chunk of change. Remember, our copper's like $3, silver is like 30 bucks, and gold's like 300 and then 98 gold. So there's a lot of money in here. Oh, Landon's feeling good. Y' all go with a slightly more keen eye as they pick bodies over for that. You find four rubies. Oh, they're all together. And you can see that there are a bunch of non magical rings that like someone who died here had a full set of ruby Jewelry like earrings, a finger ring and a necklace. And Saul Gein sat there over how much time and just pried the jewels out of the jewelry. She like broke the insets and separated them. You notice she has a weird sense of 4. 4. 4 rubies. [00:16:53] Speaker B: 8. [00:16:54] Speaker A: 4 rubies each are worth about 300 gold. [00:16:57] Speaker B: Wow. [00:17:00] Speaker A: You also find she makes little piles over the place. So she puts, she put four of the rubies under a dead body over here and then all of the broken pride open jewelry she ruined over there. So four rubies, each worth 300 gold. You also find three sapphires similarly removed from jewelry. And each of the sapphires is worth roughly 150 gold. And then lastly, Greta, you find a single black pearl, an untouched black pearl, and it looks like it's worth 500 gold. I don't know what Hoffa's doing. She's just looking confused and gesticulating. [00:17:50] Speaker B: Me too, Hoffa. [00:17:52] Speaker A: See you, Hoffa. Abby said me too. Okay. Hoffa just did this with no other explanation. She just went like that. [00:18:08] Speaker G: Okay. [00:18:11] Speaker A: Okay. So you find those gemstones, Craig, you, you find moving around the space. You find first this strange thing. It looks like metal that's been like melded with like a gemstone. So it looks like metal melded together with agate, like blended with it transmuted somehow. And it's this upside down pyramid shape, but not clean. It's really broken and jagged. It's got a strange shape and it's got like an indent in the middle and it glows with really powerful conjuration energy and it thrums kind of electricity. Boz, as you see Craig, find it, you realize simply enough, it looks like it fits in the pedestal in the center of the room. And Craig, you get the feeling after conversing with Boz for a little bit that this looks like your MacGuffin. This looks like you're somehow your weather controlling instrument. You're not sure what it is, not sure how it works, but you found it. You want to look at it further, you might be able to determine something else. But you found that. [00:19:18] Speaker D: You said this is my McMuffin. [00:19:22] Speaker E: I cast identify on it. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What? [00:19:28] Speaker D: Wait, can I do that? [00:19:31] Speaker E: Yeah. I didn't know you had identified. Go ahead. [00:19:34] Speaker D: Can I not. Hey, dm. Hey, dm. [00:19:41] Speaker C: Yeah? [00:19:41] Speaker D: Can I cast identify? Not to meta game. I've just never done it before. [00:19:47] Speaker A: That's not meta gaming. [00:19:48] Speaker B: Like, I don't think it's not. [00:19:51] Speaker A: Ask me if you can use a spell from your. [00:19:53] Speaker D: Well, no, I I just stopped Jackie from. I feel bad. I just stopped Jackie. [00:19:58] Speaker A: And Craig has an identify. [00:20:00] Speaker E: I just. [00:20:02] Speaker A: What does Craig's identify look like? [00:20:04] Speaker E: Do paladins have identify, though? [00:20:07] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. What does Craig's identify look like? Don't you have it with your subclass? [00:20:11] Speaker D: Okay, yeah, I do so. Yeah, I do so. I would like my lack of composure. I would like to say I want to give it a little sniff. [00:20:26] Speaker A: What? [00:20:29] Speaker D: And, like, you know how whenever you smell a good soup, you can, like, smell the components of it, like, getting all this, like, intellect. I smell turmeric. I smell like salt and basil and. [00:20:40] Speaker A: Like, smell tomatoes trying to save me from this. And then I shot her down. Canonizing the first ever sniff Identify. As you sniff the magic item, you become innately aware that this is. This is a geode of atmospheric authority. It is an item which, when imbued with significant source of magical power, has the ability to conjure weather or control weather. [00:21:22] Speaker D: Guys, I don't think this is what we're looking for. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Okay. I found. I. [00:21:29] Speaker A: Also. [00:21:30] Speaker C: It's big. [00:21:30] Speaker D: This is it. How big? [00:21:32] Speaker A: This big. [00:21:33] Speaker D: Okay. [00:21:34] Speaker A: Like, it's like a papaya. [00:21:36] Speaker D: Okay, so, like, if I tell her. [00:21:38] Speaker C: If it needs to go in the pedestal. [00:21:41] Speaker F: Yeah, no, this is what it is. [00:21:43] Speaker D: I. I would not put it in the pedestal just because that's how she was using it, and we don't want to use it. [00:21:49] Speaker E: Yeah, but do we need to take the pedestal with us? [00:21:53] Speaker C: No, I'm sure identify on the pedestal. [00:21:56] Speaker A: I'm sure the pedestal very much looks like it's attached to the room. It's part of the floor. [00:22:01] Speaker C: Attached. [00:22:02] Speaker A: Attached. Attached. It's not a separate structure. [00:22:06] Speaker C: If we do a long rest here, I could. I could use some Earth magic to detach it and, like, take it with us, but we can't long. [00:22:13] Speaker D: I don't think. [00:22:14] Speaker E: We don't have enough water breathing. [00:22:16] Speaker B: I don't think. [00:22:18] Speaker C: Plus, I can just cast it again. [00:22:20] Speaker D: Oh, my gosh. [00:22:21] Speaker C: It lasts for a day. Yeah. Okay. Okay, Let me call her. I got the sending stone. I pick it up, and I give her a little ringy ding. [00:22:29] Speaker B: Can I do an arcana? [00:22:30] Speaker E: Who's gonna sound like this? [00:22:38] Speaker A: Give me an Arcana. Check Greta. [00:22:41] Speaker C: Oh, check to see if Greta's a nerd. Well. [00:22:48] Speaker E: Can I assist? Can we together with our Arcana magic knowledge? [00:22:53] Speaker A: Ro, if you. Greta, if you want to extend this as a question out to Ro, you can have assistance. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Okay, so I roll with advantage. [00:23:00] Speaker E: I'll think about it too. [00:23:02] Speaker A: Well, you guys. You guys sit there and you discuss it. [00:23:04] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:23:05] Speaker F: Okay. [00:23:05] Speaker A: And now that roll will never happen. Boz, you reach. Okay. No, she came back so fast. [00:23:13] Speaker B: Okay, that's a 31. [00:23:16] Speaker A: Yeah, no, Greta with a 31. Actually, there. There's meaningful understanding here. You recognize that this stone looks like it has been infused with. It's got a very. Like a. Like a filigreed inset of powerful conjuration that seems to evoke a spell you're aware of, which is control weather. A very powerful spell, but it looks like it also amplifies the spell as well. And you realize that this chamber, much like others you have been in before in other capacities and different makes. This looks like an amplification chamber. And it looks like Salgin used this chamber, along with the pedestal to inset the stone. Then you get the feeling that she probably used her sanguamancy to use the spilled blood of the living as the fuel for this. Clearly, this could take other power sources, but that's how she fueled it. [00:24:09] Speaker E: I hope so. [00:24:11] Speaker A: And then that's what she would use to control the weather. [00:24:14] Speaker B: Okay, so I tap on the shoulder and I say, hey, you do not need the pedestal. I just know. [00:24:21] Speaker E: I just know. [00:24:22] Speaker A: And, Baz, you're muted. [00:24:23] Speaker C: This is the way I still want to call Bella Andra, though. Is that okay? Exactly. [00:24:27] Speaker B: Fair enough. [00:24:28] Speaker A: So, Baz, you pick up the sending stone, and you ring a ding. A ding. A ding. [00:24:31] Speaker E: We give it to Bella Andra, and she slashes. [00:24:33] Speaker C: Hey, wait. Ro. What time is it? Ro. What? What time is it? [00:24:36] Speaker E: I'm under the water. Balls. I. What? What time was it when we. When we went down? [00:24:42] Speaker A: Whoa. You're innately Ro. You're innately aware that it's like. It's like 4:17. Now, you guys have also been around long enough to understand that. I mean, you don't have the terminology hemisphere, but you're on the other side of the world. You're almost on the exact opposite side of the world from Bella onto. So it's 4am really early morning over there. [00:25:01] Speaker E: Yeah. Like, it's. Yeah, it's like, you know. Yeah. [00:25:07] Speaker C: I'm not gonna wake her up at 4am because she's gonna. [00:25:09] Speaker A: This. Ro briefly becomes Mick Jagger. Now all of this is going on Craig, as the party's talking and conversing and finding items. You find the other thing, the other ping. It almost alluded your vision, but you find there's a light coming from the corner of the room in your vision, your magical vision. And as you go find it, I sniff it out. You realize that you remembered four minutes ago, before, when you were speaking to Saulgin, that she was speaking of how you had come there to thieve from her, and how she had talked about what she was trying to keep from everyone else. And you find there in the corner of the room, a little glass orb filled with a dense, black, pulsing fluid. Tucked away in the corner. [00:26:22] Speaker D: My friend. [00:26:25] Speaker A: My friend. Craig. You just see it there. [00:26:32] Speaker D: Hey, little buddy. [00:26:34] Speaker A: Pulsing. You see the orb there on the ground? [00:26:38] Speaker D: I pick up happily. [00:26:42] Speaker A: Okay. [00:26:43] Speaker D: I cast hands. [00:26:48] Speaker A: As you go pick up the glass orb in the corner. Like a dead body's hand that's over. It just falls off. And as you pick up the orb, you watch it all. All the fluid opens up, pulsing at you. You hear a voice you haven't heard in a long time. [00:27:10] Speaker G: Well, hello. [00:27:11] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:27:12] Speaker D: It's my friend. My friend. How you get so lost. [00:27:24] Speaker G: I'd forgotten your demeanor. One of my eyes has been here a long time. Take it from me before. Before it sees. The Father Witches power were broken over it. I had missed you, little one. [00:27:47] Speaker B: Aww. [00:27:52] Speaker G: I knew that you were a talented fellow, but I never thought you would find two of my eyes. What an accomplishment indeed. [00:28:05] Speaker D: I just. I am just so happy. I am so happy to be here and to take you away from this ugly, little filthy place. [00:28:14] Speaker A: Ugh. [00:28:18] Speaker G: Yes. I know that once, long ago, we struck up an agreement out of a sense of obligation and perhaps a misplaced curiosity, but I would appreciate. I can sense now that there was a different power in you, that there was a gift I once gave you you likely no longer need. But not to ruin our reunion, the hour does grow dire, and I was wondering if you would not be willing to return an eye to me again. [00:29:01] Speaker D: Yes, I do. I mean, yes, I will. [00:29:06] Speaker A: I do. [00:29:09] Speaker D: Good. [00:29:10] Speaker G: Craig. [00:29:12] Speaker D: I don't care what these silly gooses have to say. I'm gonna do it. I'll walk on my own. I'll go a long journey just for you, friend. [00:29:21] Speaker B: Thank you. [00:29:22] Speaker A: Cr. [00:29:22] Speaker G: That's. [00:29:25] Speaker F: That's good. [00:29:26] Speaker G: I do need those eyes back. It's good to hear your voice. [00:29:33] Speaker D: How many more do you need? [00:29:37] Speaker G: I have most. I would like a few now. I'm growing quite a bit. The last one you brought me had a profound effect on. They all changed me. They all moved me forward in my growth. [00:29:56] Speaker A: But. [00:30:00] Speaker G: This possibility had room for change. I appreciate your continued role. I do still watch you all. I still like my story, but I recognize now how I need to have My eyes on different things. It is as much a dour vision of ill omen as it is an interesting story nowadays, but not to sour the moment. I had missed you, Gregg. It was good to speak with you again. You know, my offer still stands if at any point you wish to go away with me. You are a favored mortal. I would take you with me, though I can't promise what effect other realms would have on you. [00:31:11] Speaker D: That's good to know. That's good to know. Well, I would love to help you out in any way that I can. I know that we have to finish this trek right now. Of course. Returning this fair, weathered machine quote. [00:31:32] Speaker G: I don't mean to impose on you. [00:31:35] Speaker D: Oh, you don't. You don't impose. I am so happy to be returned to you. This is so exciting. I'm so happy. Oh, let me tell you, it is nice having a little buddy. [00:31:50] Speaker G: Yes, I like my little bunny, too. [00:31:57] Speaker D: Okay, so I. I'd like to say that the orb. This is like living. Wait, I don't have pockets. Do I have pockets? [00:32:07] Speaker A: We could say that you have, like, a. Like a strong satchel on you, but no, you just wear an armor. [00:32:11] Speaker D: I have a fanny pack. Let's be real. [00:32:16] Speaker B: Let's be real. [00:32:16] Speaker D: Zach, I've got that fanny pack. Living in the. [00:32:22] Speaker A: You could buy a bag of holding and wear it as a fan fanny pack, but you don't have one. I mean, you can have a satchel tied around your waist if you really want a fanny pack. [00:32:31] Speaker D: Yeah, I do. [00:32:33] Speaker C: Okay. [00:32:36] Speaker A: And as you slip the orb away, you feel a closeness. Greg. And the voice speaks once more and. [00:32:43] Speaker G: Says, I appreciate your renewed commitment. [00:32:47] Speaker A: Grig you. [00:32:53] Speaker G: Thank you. [00:32:55] Speaker F: Thank you. [00:33:00] Speaker G: I want to be honest with you. I think in this late hour, your commitment to me might cost you more. Many forces are getting desperate. You might draw additional ire. I know you have power from another source now, but I will help how I can. [00:33:23] Speaker A: And, Craig, for as long as you keep the. The Farseet on you, I need you to get out your character sheet and a pencil, and I need you to write down in your features somewhere. Also, if other people want to help, Micah, remember this. Type in your channel. Micah, for as long as Craig keeps this other Farseet on him, you gain boon of the sighted one. [00:33:54] Speaker D: Okay, so what is that? [00:33:57] Speaker A: Craig, do you currently have proficiency in. In perception? [00:34:06] Speaker D: No, I do not. [00:34:07] Speaker A: You gain proficiency and perception checks. [00:34:09] Speaker B: Oh, cool. [00:34:10] Speaker A: Yes. And once long rest, you can reroll a D20. [00:34:24] Speaker E: Oh. [00:34:25] Speaker D: Oh, wow. [00:34:27] Speaker B: Wow. [00:34:30] Speaker D: So once per Congress. [00:34:35] Speaker C: Wow, Micah, that is amazing. [00:34:36] Speaker E: That's crazy. [00:34:38] Speaker C: That's wild. [00:34:38] Speaker D: That is such a powerful, insane. [00:34:41] Speaker E: That's. [00:34:41] Speaker D: Oh, my God. [00:34:43] Speaker A: Once this far, seed leaves you, so will the boon. But no longer able to give you all of those other powers. Brawla Geckoth, he's warning you. Hey, this next time around, there's going to be consequences for aligning with me. So he's trying to help you out a little. [00:34:59] Speaker D: So how do you guys. [00:35:01] Speaker A: You have proficiency and perception. [00:35:03] Speaker D: And how do you guys feel about this? [00:35:06] Speaker B: I still don't really trust him. [00:35:10] Speaker C: Look, I was gonna be friends with the hag, but then she started dissing on our boy. So that's why she had to get turned into a stone because ain't nobody come pull up to him. Oz says that out loud if we're all gathered around. Sorry. [00:35:26] Speaker B: I. I don't say this out loud. Okay, Micah, did you ask that out loud? [00:35:32] Speaker D: Yeah, I do ask. How do we feel? How do we feel about this? [00:35:36] Speaker E: Are you asking that or is Craig asking that? [00:35:39] Speaker A: Craig? This is role play. Craig is asking guys. [00:35:41] Speaker E: Okay? I just want to make sure Red. [00:35:44] Speaker B: Just heard, gives like a smile and says, I'm really happy for you, Craig. [00:35:51] Speaker D: Can I do insight check? I can re roll this D20. [00:36:01] Speaker C: What? [00:36:03] Speaker A: Putting it to good use already. Are you trying to hide your intentions here? [00:36:09] Speaker B: I don't have intentions. I want to hide that I don't trust. [00:36:13] Speaker A: Make a deception check. [00:36:14] Speaker B: Make it okay. [00:36:18] Speaker D: So I do a deception check. Oh, no, I do insight 16. [00:36:22] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. Micah, I'm not trying to be sassy. Genuinely. I think that's the first time this campaign you've gotten that right. Good job. That was really sick. [00:36:29] Speaker D: 17. [00:36:31] Speaker B: I did really bad. Okay, let me get my. [00:36:36] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. Is Craig about to beat Greta on a check? This feels good. Not that I don't love Greta. I love Greta. [00:36:42] Speaker B: But it's a 10. [00:36:44] Speaker A: We love seeing the underdog win. Craig. [00:36:48] Speaker D: I think Craig is gonna. [00:36:51] Speaker A: Well, Abby, in very short, remember, insight checks are not mind reading in the simplest sense. What is Craig seeing through? A little bit. It needs to be kind of vague. [00:37:02] Speaker F: And. [00:37:08] Speaker B: I think worry mostly. [00:37:12] Speaker C: Okay. [00:37:14] Speaker B: Worry and suspicion. [00:37:15] Speaker A: Okay. [00:37:16] Speaker F: Okay. [00:37:17] Speaker A: Craig, you. You see that? I mean, this is your companion of a year now. One of the closest people in your life. You see the crack on the veneer. [00:37:30] Speaker E: Greta, about my teeth? [00:37:32] Speaker D: Our. Our group, I feel like we. We all deserve one another's plea, like transparency. I'm getting a sense of apprehension. I just want you to know that, like, there's room for that if you want to express what you're feeling of. If you have any concern or worry, like, I want you to know that this isn't beyond that, and I would like to come alongside you in that, if that makes sense. [00:38:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Greta nods, and she, like, maybe puts a hand on Craig's shoulder and says, thank you, Craig. I really do appreciate that. I just worry that I trust you with my feelings completely. I just worry that. And she, like, gestures to your pocket that. That my concerns would be overheard. But I really am. I really am happy for you. I know how much you and old connect, and I'm happy that he's back in your life. [00:38:49] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay. [00:38:55] Speaker A: Or go ahead, Greta. After you say that, you just hear. [00:38:58] Speaker G: In your head, and I missed you too, bestie. I don't want to downplay that. [00:39:05] Speaker B: Greta nods, and in her head she says, welcome back, buddy. [00:39:14] Speaker G: I think it's pronounced best, but yes. [00:39:20] Speaker D: Oh, my gosh. [00:39:22] Speaker E: Ro pipes up and says, I mean, I. I was chill with old. I think he helped my mom out in some kind of way. So I don't see any thing about it. And it's kind of cool that we have another eye watching our back again. [00:39:41] Speaker D: Um, if it would make you guys feel better, I think you can. The history of Brolic ethic. What is it? Right. [00:40:03] Speaker A: I think it's curved. And the party. [00:40:16] Speaker D: Yeah, we can do research on that and on the history. I. I feel like we could do more study. Studying on what we're getting ourselves into, what foes we might encounter, things like that. [00:40:32] Speaker B: Yeah. It seems like there's a lot more going on in ocean than I ever thought there was. [00:40:37] Speaker D: Yeah. Them fish be biting. [00:40:43] Speaker B: Before we go? If it wouldn't take up too much time. I want to cast legend lore, but that can happen whenever. I don't know. [00:40:57] Speaker E: Yeah, go for it, Greta. [00:41:00] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:03] Speaker B: Let me make sure I have the material I should. [00:41:06] Speaker A: Oh, Abby, those are big kid moose. Do you still have inspiration? [00:41:13] Speaker B: No, I used it. [00:41:14] Speaker A: I think you can have. You can have. You can have inspiration again for. For saying the words. Let me make sure I have the materials for that, though. That's beautiful. [00:41:28] Speaker B: Hello. [00:41:31] Speaker E: Okay. [00:41:32] Speaker B: Oh, goodness. Yeah. The ivory. Correct. [00:41:39] Speaker A: I'm sorry. [00:41:40] Speaker B: Ivory strips do not get consumed. Or do they? [00:41:45] Speaker A: I don't think they do. I want to just say it's the incense, but let me look. [00:41:51] Speaker B: Let me look. Yeah, I don't think it does. Yeah. [00:42:01] Speaker A: Ivory strips are not just the incense. [00:42:03] Speaker B: Okay, so I do have an incense. [00:42:14] Speaker A: Like, you're a menace today. You have another 250 incense. [00:42:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm down to 225. Oh, that's going to be brutal the next time I want to pass this. Oh, my gosh, guys, get rid of. [00:42:31] Speaker E: Some more when we go to Home Cove or wherever we go. [00:42:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. [00:42:38] Speaker A: Hit him with a raar. Okay, go ahead. [00:42:48] Speaker B: Greta's. Once things have kind of calmed down and the gation is over, she's gonna go sit kind of like up by the. The central pillar area, the deus area. Actually. Actually, what she's gonna do is she's to go around and she's going to. On as many bodies as are, like, recognizable faces. She's going to take her finger and draw the symbol of Ioun on each of them, kind of just like giving them a blessing. And then as she's doing that, we'll say she's just going around and drawing it on faces. And as she's doing that to as many bodies as she can read. Like, she's not going to, like, dig around in a body pile for 10 minutes. [00:43:39] Speaker A: To those which are reasonably. [00:43:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. She'll move like. As she's doing that, I think she's just going to, like, fall into, like, a. Like a trance and a rhythm of it, and that's how she casts it. [00:43:58] Speaker A: As you go about the space offering some form of funeral rites. This isn't quite the song I want. As you go about the space offering some form of funeral rites to those long past here, you all watch as Greta's movements increasingly become like a trance. The first handful, it seems, intentional. A handful after that, reverent. But at some point, you realize that it's almost like Greta's kind of lost in the process, her clothes and hair floating strangely and alienly through the dense fluid she moves. You notice some of the bodies after she touches their funeral rites. Even with sunken sockets, the eyelids kind of drift down and close as if finally being put some sort of metal rest. And many of them begin falling down and still to the chamber. Greta doesn't even realize, as she gets lost in her casting, that it leads her back to the center of the room, where she puts her hands on the pillar and slides them up and slides her fingers down into the gap of that indention in the pillar. She just kneels down and rests her head against it, her arms slightly above her head at her height. You watch her just kind of collapse and chant there for a while, writhing back and forth in the slight movement of the water. [00:45:27] Speaker F: And Greta, you see. Oh, man, you see. [00:45:50] Speaker A: A scaled hand grabbing a downturned skeletal knife, lift it. [00:45:56] Speaker F: Up and. [00:46:00] Speaker A: Jab it down into some other scaled flesh before cutting a gash downturned into that flesh. And as the hand lifts out and blood, dark blood gouts out into the water as it moves past your vision and resolves the occlusion, you see not flesh, but stone from far away, the deep stone belly of an ocean floor, torn like a long wound miles long, A dark black abyss leading into a much darker, much blacker abyss down past where light has forgotten its name in a perfect. [00:47:00] Speaker F: Endless silence. [00:47:12] Speaker A: And you watch as not light in the pizza bis leads creatures, leads creatures astray with temptation, but a deeper dark. And you watch strange, thin and gaunt, pale Sahagin people, so small and far, like stars in a night sky, the edge of a tear in the horizon like a deeper, blacker abyss, gather at the jaws of the boundary, stare down into its dark hollow throat. [00:47:54] Speaker F: And hear. [00:47:55] Speaker A: The beckoning of a strange and alien voice deeper within. Crawl down into the darkness, parting way from this strange abyssal exodus. Our other sahuagin choose a different path. Crawl to stranger, higher depths further away, but still far below. And from them splits away a bitter individual, a creature haggish, but sahuagin all the same. You remember that many hags were once ancient members of some more fathomable race. You watch her crawl into a similar wound in the earth. She crawls far, far away. The isolation twists her and bends her. You watch an embittered, emotionally imbalanced outcast become. [00:49:02] Speaker F: Detached. [00:49:04] Speaker A: You watch her burrow into the earth with magic. You watch her craft a clever manipulation of the world far above as it is below. You watch her begin to lure mortals, to lure their deaths down into the dark, just like her people were lured further below. And you watch her rip out the heart that was removed from her and sacrifice it on the altar of her bitterness to continue replicating around her the cycle of what happened within. And in that darkness she calcifies. [00:49:51] Speaker F: And. [00:49:53] Speaker A: Turns to stone inside long before she becomes stone outward. And you watch as she makes a living tomb for herself, burying herself further down in paranoia. But at the edges of that temple she makes the edges of that living death she sows. [00:50:16] Speaker F: You sense a genuine shadow, creeping many eyes watching her. [00:50:22] Speaker A: You sense that at the edge of her madness some genuine reason as you feel watched too. Then you all watch as Greta rocks back and forth out of her vision and falls to all fours at the edge of the pedestal. Greta. You blink out a couple times. Your eyes clarify to a still very spooky and strange place. But here you are. [00:50:51] Speaker F: Returned to the. [00:50:52] Speaker A: Familiar, strange. [00:50:57] Speaker B: I. I share. I share that. I mean, I share whatever with who wants to know. I share that last part about like. Like something more than just isolation and bitterness and something feeling watched. I share that with the group. [00:51:29] Speaker A: Spooky Bokeh. [00:51:35] Speaker D: That was a great summary. [00:51:39] Speaker B: Thank you, Greg. I really did my best. [00:51:44] Speaker D: I was referring to Rose. Spooky. But that also was a very good summary. [00:51:51] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:51:55] Speaker E: So. [00:51:57] Speaker A: Oh, man, what an adventure. Guys. [00:52:02] Speaker D: What are an adventure? [00:52:03] Speaker A: She's a rock now. Ah, good one, Craig. [00:52:05] Speaker E: Okay, I. I'm. Should we. I feel as though we should call Bella. Andre. I feel as though we should call Goober. [00:52:20] Speaker A: I think B was saying it's kind of like the middle of the night where she is. Right. Isn't that what he was saying? [00:52:24] Speaker C: That's what. Actually, Ro told me that. [00:52:26] Speaker A: Yeah. Actually, you know what? Now that we talk about it, I feel like Ro was the one. Yeah, Buzz. [00:52:30] Speaker E: Okay. [00:52:31] Speaker C: You're the one that told me that it was 4:00am but yeah. [00:52:34] Speaker E: Do we want to get out of here? Like. [00:52:38] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:52:38] Speaker E: What's the plan of leaving this place? Because, you know, yeah, I kind of like it. [00:52:45] Speaker C: We could just stay here for a little bit. [00:52:48] Speaker A: Hello. Rolls over a dead body and goes, I don't. Real gross. [00:52:52] Speaker E: Yeah, I'd rather not. I. I could. I've been trying to learn and been working on possibly a way to teleport us without a circle. Without the teleportation circle. [00:53:10] Speaker A: So I, like, all the wizards did. [00:53:11] Speaker C: Like, like what Janice did. That's cool. [00:53:15] Speaker E: I've been kind of. Kind of working on that. I. I could attempt to get us out of here, but I feel. Feel as though because we want to go to Home Cove, I'm assuming. Correct. [00:53:30] Speaker F: That's where the snooty lady lives. [00:53:32] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:53:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:53:33] Speaker C: That's where our job takes us. [00:53:34] Speaker D: And. [00:53:34] Speaker E: And I'd also like to go to Home Cove to finish up some. Some stuff I've been working on as well, along with the teleport thing. But. Nope, it's not like that, Craig. It's literally something for you guys. [00:53:51] Speaker A: Wait, bro, do you have a crush on somebody? [00:53:53] Speaker E: No, I don't have a crush. Especially not on anyone. [00:53:56] Speaker F: Was it from that big dog captain. [00:53:59] Speaker A: That we met who was really nice to us that we saw again at the blood? [00:54:03] Speaker E: The captain guy. [00:54:04] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, but he was nice. [00:54:06] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah. No, it's not happening. You know that. I know that. He knows that. I was like the only one of us that wasn't friendly to him anyway. [00:54:16] Speaker A: Change person. You're done a lot. [00:54:17] Speaker E: Still not dating a Kid. Anyway, folks, I feel as though if I were to get us out of here, I would need. I would need to. To teleport us into the opalescent home, I think, because we are kind of wanted in Home Cove. Fun fact. Yeah, we are kind of wet and wet, so I would need to call connage. I feel like it would be rude to just like, pop into her place. Also. She might also. Yeah, she might also. [00:54:48] Speaker A: Like, what if we just went back to our ship, slept kind of like in a, you know, like a. Like a. Like a smash cut, you know? And then what if the next day we went there kind of more normal? [00:54:58] Speaker E: I. I think that'd be great. I think so. [00:55:00] Speaker B: Here I'm gonna look up our big, powerful magic. [00:55:05] Speaker A: He just turns around with a nosebleed and he goes, what? [00:55:09] Speaker E: I'm gonna call. [00:55:10] Speaker A: Sorry, Black Daughter. [00:55:11] Speaker E: I'm gonna call Spaghuber. And she takes the sending stone and. [00:55:14] Speaker B: Goes out of Crick's mouth. Don't forget. [00:55:23] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. If you're talking to me, it feels like you're probably alive, right? [00:55:27] Speaker E: Hi. Yes, we are live. I. Did I wake you up? I'm so sorry. What time is it up there? Oh, wait, it's like afternoon. [00:55:34] Speaker A: Yes. [00:55:35] Speaker E: Never mind. [00:55:36] Speaker A: Also, I wouldn't be able to sleep while you guys were maybe having your lives threatened. Don't do away from that. [00:55:41] Speaker E: Well, thank you. I think we're gonna. We're gonna come up now. [00:55:47] Speaker A: Okay. [00:55:48] Speaker E: We have the weather thing and so you should be able to move in this direction. [00:55:54] Speaker A: That's great. Okay. Yeah, the storm stopped a little bit ago. [00:55:58] Speaker E: Yeah, she's. She's a statue now. The hag. [00:56:02] Speaker A: What? [00:56:03] Speaker E: Yeah, she balls turned her like, kind. [00:56:06] Speaker A: Of like cool lingo for like. She's dead. [00:56:09] Speaker E: Yeah, she's dead. Balls turned her to stone. She's quite literally a statue. [00:56:15] Speaker D: Oh, do you want to take her with. Can we take her with us? [00:56:18] Speaker E: I really don't want to. [00:56:20] Speaker A: She's like literally a statue. [00:56:22] Speaker E: Yeah, she's like made of stone. She's like. She's like the height of. She like the height of me. Dm. [00:56:27] Speaker A: Wow. [00:56:28] Speaker E: Okay, well, I think they want to bring her along. [00:56:34] Speaker A: Well, I'm really glad you guys are the good guys. Okay, I'm gonna start sailing the ship here. Why? That's kind of scary. [00:56:39] Speaker E: Okay. Okay, sounds good. I think we. Yeah, we'll see you in a bit. Okay, Doc. [00:56:44] Speaker A: Bye. [00:56:45] Speaker E: Bye. Bye. Dm, Do I need to teleport to the ship or can we smash cut to swimming up there? [00:56:52] Speaker A: Your boss can turn back Wait. [00:56:54] Speaker C: Yeah, sorry. I thought the plan was to go to the opalescent tone. [00:56:59] Speaker E: Were you not listening? [00:57:01] Speaker C: No, I was reading. I was reading something else that. [00:57:03] Speaker E: Listen, we're going to the ship to rest. Zach was. Zach was hinting at us to do that. [00:57:10] Speaker C: Okay, sorry. [00:57:11] Speaker E: And smash cut it. We're smash cutting. So it's not going to take any more time because we can't go to the opalescent to at 4am the same reason you can't call Bella Andra. Unless you want connage zapping your butt when we teleport in without warning. [00:57:28] Speaker C: I mean, I think it would be a very. I think it would be. [00:57:36] Speaker A: Okay. [00:57:38] Speaker C: Yeah. Are we able to get the statue up to the boat. [00:57:44] Speaker A: And the party's back on the boat with the statue because you're 13th level casters and I bet you could do it. Some wild shapes, some spell casting. You could take a long rest, wait till the next day, do another water breathing and then do a water walk. The party would get there. There's a time and a place to make that interesting and then a time where it's not. And so. [00:58:06] Speaker B: So we were on the boat. [00:58:10] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:58:13] Speaker A: The poor bet. And everyone, the whole crew has gone. [00:58:16] Speaker E: Wow. [00:58:16] Speaker A: Wow, look at that statue. That's so crazy. Kyle of Creepy Sauline has died and become petrified in this like this like lunging position like at boss just frozen there. And the way her legs were splayed. She kind of supports herself well. That's nice statue like position. It's horrifying. N does not like it every time. [00:58:39] Speaker E: I don't either. [00:58:39] Speaker A: She kind of has like the ears back like people's dilated cat response. She gets low. [00:58:45] Speaker E: I don't think we should have brought this, folks. [00:58:48] Speaker A: Oh, wow, that's really cool. It doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. Okay, we're not. [00:58:54] Speaker E: We're not gonna keep it on the boat. [00:58:55] Speaker A: Yeah, let's not do that. Am I supposed to sail for Homecove? Where are we going? [00:59:00] Speaker E: Yes, y' all go ahead and sail to Home Cove. We're gonna go ahead and and zap there and you guys meet us there and spagoober. And she looks at all the other crew because they're all standing right there with us. I have a surprise for you guys in a few days when we're all together again. [00:59:20] Speaker A: Okay. [00:59:21] Speaker E: Oh, that's so fun. I've been working on it, so. [00:59:24] Speaker A: Oh, you make the coolest step, Rob. [00:59:26] Speaker E: So yeah, you guys sailed to Home Cove and have we rested now? [00:59:35] Speaker A: Zach, it's the next Day and you've rested. [00:59:38] Speaker E: So, boss, would you like me to try out the teleport thing? [00:59:47] Speaker C: One second, real quick. I. I motioned over to Craig and I say, hey, bud. [00:59:53] Speaker D: Yeah? [00:59:53] Speaker C: Don't forget that we have this. And I pull out the giant glaive, the Luna glave that we got from that one guy in the dark Dolgoth fight, and said, if you ever want to use this, it's here too. And I put it back down and I say, all right, now we're good to go. It's a very magical item. Huge, giant glaive. It's here. [01:00:16] Speaker A: Why am I not, you know, a super magical glaive that you took from one of Dolgo's lieutenants that you've had for six months? [01:00:25] Speaker D: Hold on. Do I have the paper on that? [01:00:28] Speaker C: I have it. I can send it to you. [01:00:31] Speaker D: Okay, please do. [01:00:34] Speaker E: Is it now Sierra drone 16? [01:00:37] Speaker A: It is now Sihadron 16N. [01:00:40] Speaker E: Is that how you say it? Nadam. Not him. Okay. What time is it? DM. [01:00:49] Speaker A: Yeah, it's 10:09. [01:00:52] Speaker E: Okay, I. I'm gonna call up and ask her if it's chill if we teleport into her shop. [01:01:02] Speaker A: Yes. Okay. So you bring. [01:01:06] Speaker E: I say. To the party. Yeah, no, go ahead. Sorry. [01:01:11] Speaker A: Okay, so you. You ring out and you. You feel the connection. [01:01:22] Speaker F: I have missed your voice. [01:01:25] Speaker E: I've missed yours too. I'm. I'm doing well to hear you speak. Thank you. You too. It's been a. It's been a minute, hasn't it? I'm. [01:01:34] Speaker F: It really has. [01:01:35] Speaker A: I don't think I welcome you all. [01:01:37] Speaker F: In quite literally months. [01:01:40] Speaker E: Yeah, it's been good. We're doing okay. I. I was wondering. We have some business in Holmcove to attend to and I was wondering if it would be possible for us to. I've kind of been working on some stuff and we've grown a little bit. And I was wondering if I could potentially attempt to teleport onto your teleportation circle in the. In the opalescent tomb. [01:02:15] Speaker F: You cannot possibly mean that you have mastered the skill of teleportation. [01:02:20] Speaker E: Maybe. We'll see. [01:02:23] Speaker F: Any idea? Do you understand? You will have mastered what it takes many a lifetime to learn in less than a year. The Manabes have placed their faith in the right people. You are welcome to. And I am so glad that you have reached this level of ability that you. You can regularly bring yourself back to me. [01:02:44] Speaker E: Oh. [01:02:44] Speaker F: I feel I should let you know if you are headed back, that the empire has retracted a bit and Their presence is a bit lighter in Honov than it was. [01:02:56] Speaker E: Okay, that's good for it. [01:02:58] Speaker F: That being said, I remember you all often. Not only because you are close to my heart, but also because your faces are at regular focal points. The reward on your head is significant. [01:03:15] Speaker E: Oh, okay. Yeah. So we'll definitely keep a low profile. Disguise ourselves. Yeah. Thank you. [01:03:25] Speaker F: Dare set a foot in my shop even if they couldn't it Right. Glad to see you all here. And I gladly are with your wife. [01:03:31] Speaker A: You're arriving. [01:03:32] Speaker E: Okay. [01:03:33] Speaker F: There will be fresh red wine when you arrive. [01:03:35] Speaker E: Oh, sounds wonderful. Thank you. [01:03:37] Speaker F: Ko my best mellow. [01:03:39] Speaker E: Okay. See you. See you. Goodbye. Okay, guys, I think we can do it. She's excited. Also, remember to disguise up. Put your hoods up. There's a high price on our heads. [01:03:57] Speaker D: I literally wear full print plate armor. [01:04:01] Speaker A: Okay. Did you say no? [01:04:03] Speaker C: No. I'm will when I need to. We're not going to disguise ourselves in the openness and tome. Right? [01:04:07] Speaker A: No. Right. Sorry. Yeah. I just. [01:04:11] Speaker E: I don't think the armor. [01:04:13] Speaker A: I think the Austin Berries. [01:04:14] Speaker E: Sorry, I. I think the armor will bring more attention to you. Craig, we may have to do something. [01:04:19] Speaker D: No, that's what I'm saying. I. I literally wear full plate armor. [01:04:22] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:04:22] Speaker D: What are we going to do? [01:04:24] Speaker E: Okay, well, I can disguise myself. Maybe I can polymorph you into something we can. We can work on. [01:04:30] Speaker D: You be the horse, I'll be the night. [01:04:33] Speaker C: Okay. [01:04:33] Speaker E: No. What? We'll figure it out. Okay, is everyone ready? [01:04:38] Speaker A: Cooper walks up and goes, good news. He's got a map and a little. And a. A, A transector in his hand. And he says, I figured it out. I think I could get the home cove. If we really stay on and take the direct journey. No delays or impediment or weather. In about 49 days. Less than two months. That's pretty good. It's only 3,500 miles. [01:05:01] Speaker B: So I want to say. [01:05:05] Speaker A: Oh my God. I can't hear you. It's like you have a proverbial part of your microphone of your headset moved away from your face. [01:05:12] Speaker C: What if. Okay guys, here's a great idea. What if we have them stay in port somewhere instead of just sailing back and forth across the entire world over and over again. [01:05:23] Speaker A: We'll just go back up to Z. [01:05:25] Speaker E: Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. That's a wonderful idea. And we'll. We'll teleport back. Yeah. [01:05:30] Speaker A: Weren't you guys trying to go to NikistOnik like 10 months ago? We're pretty close to There. [01:05:36] Speaker E: Yes. That's a grand idea. Actually. [01:05:39] Speaker A: Want us to go to Nikistan or Zayan? [01:05:41] Speaker E: Yes, and Nikistonik would be good. And we'll meet Tascanian. [01:05:47] Speaker A: Or we're on this side of the wild. We could go. [01:05:50] Speaker D: Oh, man. [01:05:51] Speaker C: Zedge. Zedge. [01:05:53] Speaker E: Why? [01:05:53] Speaker A: Something. He starts rotating the helm. [01:05:56] Speaker C: It's so far away. That was a joke he was. Zach was doing. [01:06:00] Speaker A: Nah, I meant it pretty legitimately. [01:06:02] Speaker C: Ish. [01:06:02] Speaker A: Big Uber. I did whatever you guys wanted me to do. All right, my adventurers. [01:06:08] Speaker D: What were we doing in the Kistenik? [01:06:10] Speaker A: How about this? How about this? How about this? You guys have a lot on your plate. I'll start sailing to Zedge. [01:06:15] Speaker F: But the boat doesn't go too fast. [01:06:16] Speaker A: Excuse me. Barrett, you guys could go to your journey. You could let me know if you want me to change cars. [01:06:21] Speaker E: Okay, we'll let you know. We will be back soon. [01:06:24] Speaker A: Okay, little kids? [01:06:26] Speaker E: Yes. [01:06:27] Speaker A: Okay. Go get some adventures. And you can take the statue with you if you want. [01:06:32] Speaker E: Oh, we definitely are. We're not leaving it here. I wouldn't. I wouldn't share of it. [01:06:37] Speaker B: It's really good. [01:06:39] Speaker D: Thank you. [01:06:39] Speaker E: Okay. [01:06:40] Speaker D: Into that I say. [01:06:43] Speaker A: Okay. [01:06:43] Speaker E: Bye. [01:06:43] Speaker A: Bye. [01:06:44] Speaker C: Guys, here's a question real quick. Before we teleport, is the weird magic field at the opalescent tome gonna get super angry about the cube, the weather cube if we go there? Maybe we should ask Kanajay that before. [01:07:00] Speaker A: We actually drink it. [01:07:02] Speaker B: We should also warn her about the statue. Yeah, that would be so rude to bring into someone's house without. [01:07:10] Speaker A: Can we. [01:07:11] Speaker C: Zach. Zach, I. I would really love to go to the opales and film this episode. [01:07:16] Speaker A: I think that's great. [01:07:17] Speaker C: Is this something. Is this something that needs to be discussed with her or something? [01:07:22] Speaker A: Why don't you give me an arcana check? Why don't you give me an arc? [01:07:25] Speaker E: Can I do an arcana check since I know the opalescent tome? Yeah, okay. [01:07:34] Speaker B: Yeah, I know that face. [01:07:36] Speaker C: 22. [01:07:37] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:07:40] Speaker E: I got a 23. [01:07:42] Speaker A: Oh, that's. Yep. So both of you all put together. There really shouldn't be an issue with the. The geode of atmospheric whatever authority. It's simply an instrument of its own. Right. It was just being used by a sanguamancer, so it had dark portent on it, but it is not. A sword's a sword. You know, the petrified sahuagin sahgin would probably find resistance to the layers, but probably not like impenetrable. Just like, you know, you're gonna have to push hard to get it out of the Building. Or maybe it'll go a little faster and easier as it's propelled by the field, but it's not, like, gonna be impenetrable. [01:08:34] Speaker E: You guys carry this statue around Home Cove, and we're trying to be undetected. You're gonna turn into a rat. How are you gonna carry the statue? Ro says in rose accent, not Jackie's accent. [01:08:50] Speaker C: Boz takes one of those deep breaths where it's, you know, exactly the kind of deep breath that I'm talking about. And he doesn't even address what she says. He just says, are you ready? [01:09:01] Speaker E: I'm legitimately asking. [01:09:03] Speaker B: I think we should just leave it. I think we can just leave it there. [01:09:09] Speaker C: Okay. [01:09:10] Speaker E: Also, not to be a Stifler, not to be a stickler, but for the teleport spell, it says you had up to eight willing creatures or a single object. [01:09:23] Speaker A: Do you guys want that? You can't take things you carry with you. [01:09:26] Speaker E: No, I just. [01:09:27] Speaker C: I don't know what. I don't. I don't care what the terms are. I think we're good to go. But if we need to leave it behind to get to the opalescent home, that's fine with me. [01:09:38] Speaker E: I just want to get fine. You. No, it's fine. We'll take it. You can figure out how to get it to Ms. Bella Andra. [01:09:47] Speaker C: All right. [01:09:47] Speaker E: Because I don't want to leave it with Goober. [01:09:50] Speaker C: All right. [01:09:51] Speaker E: I just don't want to argue. Okay. Ro takes a deeper breath than V. [01:10:04] Speaker C: I don't know if that's possible. [01:10:07] Speaker E: Okay. [01:10:07] Speaker A: Oh, give me deep breath. [01:10:09] Speaker E: And then closes her eyes and starts. She swings around Soul Mender and starts playing on her mother's loop. [01:10:22] Speaker A: Bro. Could you describe what it's like as teleport is cast by a. By a player character for the first time in barely DND history? [01:10:30] Speaker E: Yes. [01:10:31] Speaker A: Wow. [01:10:33] Speaker D: That's pretty fancy. [01:10:35] Speaker A: This is a big moment. This is a real step into the next level of D and D. [01:10:42] Speaker E: She starts to play, and as she starts to play, it kind of sounds on Soul Mender. It's kind of like that deep magic, almost like that deep song, almost like. It's like there's harmonies, there's voices. Like, it's intricate and weird, and she has her eyes closed. Closed the whole time. And she's just focusing on that teleportation circle in the opalescent tome. She even opened up her spellbook or her songbook again to like, make sure she had it all right that she drew in there. And as she plays, I want to Say can I flavor it? As kind of like, I know it's not technically like this, but can I flavor it that right in front of her, a gold door starts forming. [01:11:43] Speaker A: Yes ma' am, you know you can. [01:11:45] Speaker E: And it starts opening more and more. And then as she plays this doorway that's in front of them just kind of instead of them like walking, walking into it, the door kind of moves over them. And as it moves over them, it teleports them to it. The door moves over them as the. [01:12:07] Speaker A: Party gathers together with the statue and the entire crew of the poor bet comes up on deck to watch the most powerful spell a member, a member of their incredibly quickly progressing party has ever cast. Ro, you play complex symphonic memories over themselves practically like looping on your instrument as if like you could, you could like layer the song up just from the magic of your instrument. And as you play and your fingers begin moving in a complexity, almost supernatural, and that gold light begins bathing outward, all of the flowers growing out of the deck turn toward you and turn their pebbles and seem to expand and open to it, responding to the old song. And is this golden door of light builds up it and as it just rushes across you all in a wave of energy, you guys feel that intense thermic difference the way you've felt in the past. And suddenly, all at once from your own hand now you have cast the spell that has brought you to the familiar teleportation circle chamber of that sort of that relaxed brown wood. The fine bookcases leaden with well kept but heavy tomes. There's a little side table and it indeed has flutes of ready sparkling wine in it. So that's sparkling champagne of expensive red wine. And there's even a little tray that has little cookies on it where you guys could pick it up and munch on them. They're pretty fresh. And there's like this sort of like side chair waiting and the door and it's closed. And you guys are returned to the opalescent tome of note. They're sitting on the side table. Greta, you recognize Breaking Waves by Natalie Crem. The book you had last been reading with Morgrim is there and it's been turned over onto its face as if completed. And it's just by the side table. And you all are in the opalescent tome. [01:14:20] Speaker E: I did it, guys. Prolight breathes for the first time since she cast it. [01:14:28] Speaker A: Oh, also there's a big Salgein statue with you. [01:14:33] Speaker C: It's supposed to taste fishy after. I like a weird Fishy aftertaste in my mouth. [01:14:37] Speaker E: I think that's your. That's. That's from you being under the water and not brushing your teeth afterwards. [01:14:46] Speaker C: I think. I know. Usually after I use the tree stuff, it tastes like honey, like a honeysuckle. But this is like fish. I don't know if that's normal. I just was wondering. [01:14:57] Speaker A: Hello. Is behind both of you guys. And he goes. [01:15:00] Speaker F: Fight, fight, fight, fight. [01:15:02] Speaker E: She. She pressed the digit. She whistles and prestidigitates like soap smell all into Boss's face. [01:15:11] Speaker B: She put it. [01:15:12] Speaker C: She walked Boss Castle spell magic. [01:15:16] Speaker A: Then what does the party do? [01:15:21] Speaker E: Probably now after all the casting. We are. The teleportation circle was under. Was on the. Like underneath. Correct, Zach. The main floor of the storm. [01:15:42] Speaker A: If you guys will remember the way that the Opalescence home is organized, there is that, like century. Like that sort of century central intake for. And it leads up that side stairwell that goes to the upstairs library. Beyond the foyer is the main display room of the magic shop that overlooks the downward slope of the city. In that half caldera. And down the hall, across that silk barrier, the red silk cloak barrier, are those different doors where Kanajet has her study, her workshop. There's Morgram's room. And there's also that chamber that holds the teleportation circle. There's also that singular door on the other side, though. Leads to that sort of like interdimensional housing space that she has. But you guys are just in that other chamber that holds the teleportation circle. [01:16:32] Speaker B: Okay, I'm gonna. Just gonna. Greta is counting her money. [01:16:37] Speaker F: Okay. [01:16:38] Speaker B: She's like anxiously kind of counting her money. [01:16:40] Speaker D: Craig's counting his fingers. [01:16:43] Speaker C: Oz excuses himself from the group with ascending stone. [01:16:47] Speaker A: Okay. Step aside with the sending stone. Yeah. Okay. I don't want to. [01:16:53] Speaker C: If everybody. If somebody else wants to do something I can do. [01:16:55] Speaker E: I go to find Kanajay. Since we're in her building. Yeah. [01:16:59] Speaker A: Walk beyond red silk cloak. Fresh morning air greets you. There is a scent of warm brewed teas. And when you go into the main room, you see the opalescent tome. You stride back into the magical shop to which you have been two or three times already. Some of you many more. And a wave of warmth and nostalgia washes over you and also of relief. Complex memories come back, Ro. There's many memories of years spent visiting here and the connection you've made with the talented mage who's the proprietor of this place. But you also remember. I mean, you remember Greta being freed from the scale. Here you remember the first time meeting Alondra and being introduced to the Manabus. Here you remember your acquaintance with you. You recontextualize all of a sudden that this was the place where you crossed the threshold into the journey you've begun taking for so long now. That this was this place into which you stepped into a new destiny. And now you come back and you think about how different you were since you were here last. Those opalescent sort of stained glass windows at the front are where they usually are, but you realize that the door at the front is locked. That dark door. It looks like they're not open for business today awaiting you. And Morgrom is in that sort of lifted alcove underneath the stairwell. And he's got a very large book in his hand. And as he looks up, he goes. [01:18:35] Speaker G: Oh no, I've missed you all. [01:18:40] Speaker A: And he has this like converted. It's like a. Like an entire. Oh, what's the barrel that you put like alcohol in. [01:18:52] Speaker B: Keg? Egg. [01:18:54] Speaker A: There's a. There's a more appropriate word. [01:18:56] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:18:57] Speaker A: Anyway, it's. It's like that but cut in half with a wooden handle on the side. Micah, you're muted. This is the way flask. Nope, that's all. Everyone's saying the wrong thing but saying with enthusiasm and that's what matters. So as he holds up that half cut barrel with a handle on the side, it's just a very large mug to him essentially and it's filled with an entire bowl's worth of steaming tea. And he just takes a really large sip out of it and puts it down. He adjusts his tiny little bifocals and the comically muscular and large cask. Flagon. Casque. Cask. The half cut cask. He sets it down and the well dressed, comically muscular was go. Ogre stands up and he just walks over and he can't really hug you, Ro, so he just puts a large hand all the way around you. [01:19:48] Speaker E: Ro hugs as well as she can. [01:19:51] Speaker A: Much of the rest of the party follows behind. And then not but a moment after ascending or descending the wooden staircase, flipping through a book that sort of disappears and mist in her hands is the tall dark skinned wood elf woman. She's wearing a sort of deep lavender, longer, more sort of flowy summer dress with more. It's even got some chiffon accents and it frills a little bit at the shoulders. Much less elegant than she's usually dressed is Connager with her hair sort of. [01:20:23] Speaker F: Up in A bun. [01:20:24] Speaker A: And she's got a smile on her. [01:20:25] Speaker F: Face, and she says, if it is not my intrepid adventurers. [01:20:31] Speaker A: She smiles as her hand traces down the railing as she walks down, as everyone's greeting Kanajet and Morgrim in that reception foyer. Baz, what are you doing? As you've stepped away with the setting. [01:20:43] Speaker C: Stone, I call Bella. [01:20:46] Speaker A: Andra. [01:20:47] Speaker F: Okay. [01:20:48] Speaker A: You feel the connection established. [01:20:51] Speaker C: I say, hey, this is Bars. [01:21:00] Speaker F: Oh, I'm glad to hear you respond so quickly, Bars. That may be helpful. [01:21:08] Speaker C: We did the thing. We have the queue. [01:21:11] Speaker F: Wonderful. [01:21:12] Speaker C: We are in. Zach, this is Home Cove. I'm not crazy, right? Yes, we're in Home Cove right now, but it's a little. We've been told that there's, like, a lot of heat on us right now. [01:21:29] Speaker A: That would be a fair assessment, yes. [01:21:34] Speaker C: Can I do an insight check to see if there's any reason that I shouldn't tell her that we're friends with Kanje? That wasn't home, or if that's something. [01:21:41] Speaker F: I should go on or. [01:21:42] Speaker E: No, I feel like we remember that. They didn't. They didn't remember each other. [01:21:47] Speaker A: You remember, like, you've brought up your affiliation in the past, and she was kind of, like, saucy about it, in the sense that you get the feeling that Kanojer was perhaps an individual of whom she had a little bit of jealousy, but it wasn't some sort of like. [01:22:00] Speaker C: Like enemies, but just like a petty dis. Like a petty, like, rivalry. [01:22:04] Speaker A: You get the feeling they don't like each other a lot. They're two very powerful sorcerers of different moral opinions in the city, but they coexist. [01:22:12] Speaker C: All right. I say we are currently. We just teleported into the Opel as a tome, and I know, don't know, but I presume not the favorite place in the world, but I was hoping, if you had the ability, if we could do some kind of. If we could get it to you if you came here or. I don't know. I just don't want to get in trouble. Getting to the tower? [01:22:43] Speaker F: Yes. Let me take care of some business on my end. It's not my favorite establishment. I would rather not. But if I must, I'm sure I could find some sort of an arrangement. Give me till a bit after afternoon tea, and I could see if perhaps that's not an option. But if you could find another here before then, I would not complain. [01:23:08] Speaker C: Okay. I'll do some brainstorming, and I'll check with the shop owner as well to make sure it's all good. But one other thing. We brought. We turned. We turned the Fathom witch to stone. And she's like a rock now. And we brought her with us. [01:23:24] Speaker A: We can just, like, destroy her. [01:23:26] Speaker C: Like, crush it. But I thought maybe you would like it. I don't know, as like in your garden. Like a statue. I don't know. You don't have to have it, but I thought you might like it. [01:23:34] Speaker F: Oh, balls. I like you more and more. [01:23:43] Speaker C: The only thing is getting. Getting it back to you. Okay. [01:23:47] Speaker F: See, I have some thoughts. But let me know if you need something else we'll discuss. [01:23:51] Speaker C: All right, Sounds good. [01:24:00] Speaker E: I never met no one I liked that said tata. That was a horrible. [01:24:06] Speaker C: Did Mary Poppins say ta Ta? You didn't like Mary Poppins? You know, Jack does hate Mary Poppins. Hate Mary Poppins. [01:24:13] Speaker A: Canonical. [01:24:14] Speaker C: Canonical. [01:24:15] Speaker A: What's up, Micah? [01:24:17] Speaker D: I remember distinctly Mimi saying ta Ta a lot. Like when you said that Jackie hates our grandmother. [01:24:29] Speaker E: I do hate her. [01:24:30] Speaker C: All right, Boz. [01:24:31] Speaker A: Good luck ever getting invited. [01:24:34] Speaker D: Yeah, good luck. [01:24:35] Speaker C: He does like finger crossbows, that silguin or whatever. And then he walks back with the rest of it. [01:24:42] Speaker A: And as the party is gathered in the center of the opalescent tome, feel free to roleplay and have all your conversations. I have also sent the updated magic item document in Lore in reference before you open it. It has more items than last time, and it is expanded, but I've also changed structure. I believe it's much more readable now. It was a lot of formatting work, but the tables are much more clearly organized into sections. They're more clearly contained. Each individual table section is now a singular item instead of being broken up. And each one has a name on the left, the rarity in the middle, the value listed below. And then on the top section of the rightmost column is a visual description. And then it's completely separated from what below is its ability. And then each three line break represents the division between another item and they are still organized into their previous sections. [01:25:36] Speaker D: My gosh. Hey, Zach. [01:25:40] Speaker E: Beautiful. [01:25:40] Speaker B: Thank you, Zack. [01:25:41] Speaker D: Hey, Zach. How do you have time for anything? [01:25:44] Speaker A: Sometimes when I choose between sleeping a little more or doing this, I do this. I really like doing this. [01:25:52] Speaker B: I vote DM inspiration. [01:25:53] Speaker C: It looks amazing. [01:25:54] Speaker D: I vote this is sick. [01:26:06] Speaker A: And I think there are some items in there you guys are really going to want to see. But no pressure, no rush. [01:26:11] Speaker D: I have some good money dollars I can use. [01:26:14] Speaker B: I have some good money dollar. [01:26:15] Speaker A: Remember, as always, the opalescent tome is a thing as A place you can buy. It's also a place you can sell. [01:26:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:26:21] Speaker D: Freaking sick. Oh, my gosh. You know what? I could sell the axe. This talking axe, because he literally serves me no purpose, like, whatsoever. I could just sell the talking axe. [01:26:38] Speaker A: Craig. From somewhere at your side, you hear? I didn't want to say anything while we were in battle, but I noticed you didn't use me at all in the fight. There's no judgment. I thought that beautiful sword you had was rather lovely. But maybe. [01:26:55] Speaker F: Maybe you might try giving me a swing. You look rather heroic with me in your hands, don't you think? [01:27:04] Speaker A: All right, I'll hush up then. [01:27:05] Speaker D: That's a good point. That's a good point. Hey. Hey, love. Do you eat? Are you hungry? [01:27:12] Speaker A: No. I'm an axe. [01:27:13] Speaker D: Okay. I'm Craig. It's nice to meet you. That was a joke. [01:27:18] Speaker A: I'm not. [01:27:19] Speaker F: Oh, all right. [01:27:24] Speaker D: Anyways, let's look at this cool list thing I say around dwarven plate. Whoa. What the heck is this? I'm a dwarf. [01:27:41] Speaker A: Yes, Jackie. [01:27:44] Speaker E: I don't remember. [01:27:44] Speaker A: If you wanted to role play something, it could. [01:27:46] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:27:47] Speaker A: Other people. A lot of time to look over the document. [01:27:48] Speaker E: Yeah. That's a great thought of yours. [01:27:54] Speaker A: And after many normal pleasantries with one of your closest allies, the party is set free to examine. I mean, Kanajay speaks with you all. For before anyone goes and looks at anything, the party spends an hour talking with her. She brings you refreshments, she feeds you all a little bit, and everyone is set about the shop to explore. [01:28:12] Speaker E: And look, I warned her about the snow statue down. [01:28:17] Speaker A: She sees it and she's concerned. But she says, it's all right. [01:28:20] Speaker F: I trust you to handle what you have. [01:28:25] Speaker C: Boz does walk up to Kager and goes, it is so great to see you again. [01:28:31] Speaker F: It is lovely to see you. I really. [01:28:34] Speaker C: How has the shop been? [01:28:36] Speaker F: Wonderful. Wonderful. Kefkan presence has reduced a bit and I am always in good business, but I find that it's even higher. There is a sense of unease in the world and people who are already buying magic items buy them at a higher rate when times are slightly unstable. I hate to be morbid, but I'm doing quite well. And I'm always doing quite well. [01:29:05] Speaker C: Well, there's a lot of reasons to not be happy, but I am happy that you are doing well. [01:29:10] Speaker F: So I try to find the silver linings. [01:29:13] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. And there's plenty. There's plenty. I wanted to ask you about something real quick. [01:29:20] Speaker F: Certainly. [01:29:21] Speaker C: Of what may I be so we Just finished, you know, the statue over there doing that. And we were asked to do it. To do it by a. By someone who people have a lot of thoughts on. [01:29:36] Speaker F: All right. [01:29:37] Speaker C: Bella, Andra. [01:29:39] Speaker F: Ah, Lady Andre the Pearl Sorceress. [01:29:42] Speaker E: Yeah, that's the reaction I have. [01:29:45] Speaker C: He asked us to get that. Now I. I'm trying to think of another way to make this happen, but I really would hate to have any type of tail or heat come on to us while we're here. [01:29:57] Speaker A: And I was hoping if I would not be fan. [01:29:59] Speaker C: See if she could come. If she could come here to pick up the stuff or if that's, like, not good. I can figure out a different way, but I just wanted to check and see. [01:30:10] Speaker F: Yes. I do not like to give myself over to petty differences, Buzz. But I'm going to be honest. I would rather not have her here in my shop near my home. [01:30:24] Speaker C: Okay, that's fine. That's 100% fine. [01:30:27] Speaker F: I think perhaps there is a solution here that involves both two fish and one net. Let me go see if I can't find something. Let me go do a little reading. I think I might have a solution. [01:30:44] Speaker C: Okay. Okay, great. [01:30:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:30:46] Speaker C: I obviously respect you in your shop above all, so I just wanted to. We appreciate your hospitality. [01:30:51] Speaker A: And she nods and heads up the stairs to find a book. [01:30:55] Speaker C: Cool. And that's all boss does. [01:30:59] Speaker A: And remember to do this where somebody needs to pull aside and talk to her. This is over the course of many hours. You guys are here half the day. [01:31:06] Speaker E: God, yeah. [01:31:08] Speaker D: Oh, my gosh, guys, there's an item called curious speaker and it's an enchanted. Wait, is enchanted with a strange divination. So you can talk to a stone statue and get one piece of previously unknown information to you. [01:31:25] Speaker E: Not liking that. Not liking that. [01:31:27] Speaker C: I don't think so. [01:31:28] Speaker A: Hilarious. [01:31:30] Speaker C: Just like, hey there, we just showed you the stone. [01:31:33] Speaker A: How are you doing? [01:31:35] Speaker B: Maybe. [01:31:36] Speaker D: I'm just saying. That'd be pretty interesting. [01:31:40] Speaker A: Just Craig. Just Craig going, hey, little Rock, I have a question. [01:31:43] Speaker B: A ravenous. [01:31:45] Speaker E: Like, did you say a statue of Ravenna? [01:31:49] Speaker B: Yeah, if we found a statue of Ravena, we could use that. [01:31:52] Speaker D: Oh, I'm going through and highlighting all the ones that I like. [01:31:58] Speaker E: At one point during the day, Ro goes up to K once she's done some stuff and she. She, like, catches her up on, like, some of the stuff they've been doing and like, you know, goes back and forth and everything. And she even tells her about, like, how she found her dad and stuff like that. [01:32:26] Speaker A: Oh, she asks for all the details she's so fascinated. You all talk about that for a good half hour. [01:32:33] Speaker E: Yeah. Oh, and she shows her. She shows her song splitter and, and another soul mender. How it's, how it's now filled in. [01:32:42] Speaker A: With like how you break into conversation. I mean, it's, it's a whole thing. [01:32:52] Speaker E: And then Ro says, I, I, you know, I'm like learning more and more and getting. Getting better at the spell casting. [01:33:04] Speaker F: Is it all right if I actually. I, I, I'm so glad to see you. And obviously you're the one going on with a little more in your life. I actually, I sort of have something for you. I've been waiting for you to return and. Bro, you teleported today. Do you realize that is something I only learned in the last decade? And I'm a couple centuries old. [01:33:33] Speaker E: You don't look at day over, well, 50. [01:33:37] Speaker A: That's true. Elf doesn't crack. [01:33:40] Speaker F: But that's not the point. What I'm saying is that you. Your skill, your ability, you clearly have some kind of destiny upon you. But you are becoming one of the most renowned and remarkable casters I know. I would not be surprised in your skill did not succeed my own very soon. [01:33:59] Speaker E: I don't know about that. [01:34:01] Speaker F: I appreciate all of the favor and admiration you still hold for me, but I feel that I have let you down in a few ways. The last time you were here, I did not make as much time for you as I would have liked. And you are someone who has always loved the travel, the adventure, but who has often been without a form of home. Many others have. And I know that that's often how you like it. But something occurred to me not too long ago that I did have something I could offer you. Are you familiar with the strange interdimensional space I have where I live? [01:34:49] Speaker E: I mean, I. From. Yeah, I. I mean, I remember it. It was incredible. [01:34:55] Speaker F: I think that you have grown to the power and ability. I will help your friends. I'll help make transactions, equip you. I'll provide you. But I think you are at a level where that's the sort of magic that you could learn. If you would be willing to spend the better part of a day learning. [01:35:15] Speaker A: With me. [01:35:17] Speaker E: I would be honored to. If you really think that I could do it. [01:35:23] Speaker F: I have an abiding confidence that you could learn the sort of magics which would allow home to go wherever you are. I think it's become pretty clear that it's the people who travel with you that are your home. And I Would like you to be able to offer what you have not received. [01:35:41] Speaker E: I would. I would love that. [01:35:43] Speaker F: The central component of this spell is a silver spoon. I had this maid and she produces. [01:35:51] Speaker A: From a sleeve of her breast this spoon that's gilded with gold on the edges. And inlaid into the handle is like just a vague abstract carving of a lute. [01:36:03] Speaker F: And she hands it to you and she says, oh, I don't want you to be without home again. If you can step away from your friends for five, six hours. Yeah, I think I can teach this to you. [01:36:15] Speaker E: Yeah. I, I, I, I, I. Yes, yes. [01:36:25] Speaker A: And Ezro steps away with Kanache for many hours after Kanache has attended to everyone in their shopping. Which we can hide hind Right. In hindsight do Rowan Kane train for quite a bit. And Jackie, we can come back to that perhaps at the end of the session. [01:36:40] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:36:41] Speaker F: Okay. [01:36:41] Speaker A: And that can be what we cap off with. Would everyone like a quick spoon? [01:36:45] Speaker C: Spoon. [01:36:46] Speaker A: Get everyone and please add that to your inventory if anyone wants to do some shopping stuff. And then Lando, whenever you want to kind of step away to your Bella Andre business, we can do that. Or if you want more time, we can make it another session. It's whatever you want with that. [01:37:01] Speaker D: So I have a request. Can we split the shopping into two episodes? [01:37:07] Speaker A: We can. [01:37:08] Speaker D: So that we have time to like study what we can buy. [01:37:12] Speaker A: We can. You can. You guys can even study this until next time? Absolutely. [01:37:17] Speaker D: I because I. I would love to take time game planning, especially with what old was saying. I would love to find a magic. [01:37:25] Speaker A: Weapon that three or four days in Home Cove if you want. There's no rush. [01:37:30] Speaker D: I would absolutely love spending another day shopping or like not do that this episode. [01:37:38] Speaker A: Yeah, there is no rush. You guys have been at it for quite a while. There's no rush. On some downtime and recuperation for the party. [01:37:46] Speaker C: Micah, the mercenary scabbard would be so great for Craig. [01:37:49] Speaker D: Wait, wait, what are you. Wait, did I think I already highlighted that. [01:37:52] Speaker C: Wait, where is that five weapons store that you just pull out Less than six feet length. That's crazy. [01:37:58] Speaker B: That's awesome. [01:37:59] Speaker A: Craig could have one scabbard. Did Bella all of his weapons out. [01:38:02] Speaker C: Of did oh my gosh. Say what she found in the book of what her idea was at all? [01:38:10] Speaker A: Well, a short time later, Kanajay returns walking down from the stairs. And this is also the sort of thing that we can spend more time on next time. But Kanager comes striding down from the stairs. Let me do some scrolling. And she is carrying in her hands a very ornate plated gold book. [01:38:33] Speaker F: Heavy, thick, and as she flips through. [01:38:37] Speaker A: It, she says. [01:38:39] Speaker F: I am feminine. I have visited her estate once before. I am familiar with the circle in her home. If you could obtain her permission, I could send this to her. [01:39:01] Speaker C: Okay. Send the book? Is that what you're saying? [01:39:04] Speaker F: Zachary, did you want the book or the really big statue of the fish woman? [01:39:10] Speaker C: Zach. Sorry, I'm confused. She came out with a gold book and said that if we get her permission, she could send. [01:39:16] Speaker A: She's asking if you want her to send the statue. The giant statue. You need to get across town to the tower. [01:39:21] Speaker C: To the tower and the magic item. [01:39:23] Speaker A: Right. [01:39:23] Speaker C: The cube. The weather cube, sure. [01:39:26] Speaker A: You could put the weather cube in the hand of the statue if you want. [01:39:30] Speaker C: I'd love that. Yeah. [01:39:31] Speaker A: You could go with it if you want. [01:39:32] Speaker E: I was gonna say you could go with it. [01:39:35] Speaker A: I. I have some things I want to ask her. [01:39:40] Speaker C: Sure, sure, I'll go there. I also have to make another stop in town, so. [01:39:43] Speaker A: That sounds fine. [01:39:44] Speaker C: Okay, let me call her real quick. Does anybody want to come with me? [01:39:49] Speaker A: The entire. [01:39:50] Speaker D: No, I'm gonna do research. [01:39:52] Speaker C: Boz is smiling because he's like, of course nobody wants to go with me. I don't. I don't know if Boz even wants to go. So he picks up the stone and he says. He says those things. He calls her back and says, hey, actually, they can just send me over there to your teleport circle. Is that okay? And if so, when? [01:40:15] Speaker F: Sounds preferable. I was considering some other options, but this is superior. Thank you for considering it. [01:40:23] Speaker C: All right, I can come now or I can come later. You suggest some stuff to do whenever you. [01:40:30] Speaker F: I have space in my time today. Now, later. I'll expect you at any hour. [01:40:36] Speaker C: All right, I'll be by in a bit. Okay. [01:40:42] Speaker A: Also, I want you guys to get the items you want to get. Micah, I'm not telling you you should look over Godspeed, but, you know, whatever items you want. I'm just saying there are some things that could work. Well, that is not me saying that you have to have. I'm just saying it could be an interesting item to look over. I know that's a big document. [01:41:00] Speaker D: You said. What was it? Godspeed. [01:41:03] Speaker A: Godspeed. Okay. Okay. So she raises a hand, speaks loudly, and casts teleport over you and the statue in the stone, and you. [01:41:17] Speaker F: You guys just. [01:41:19] Speaker A: Disappear. And Baz, you in that chamber, you passed that one time walking upward into the Pale Tower before you got to the Room where she had her. The space in which she worked on magic items and enchanting where she did that sort of arcane surgery on you. You just appear in that room and to sort of carry out a scene here. It's not long before one of the staff members sees you, gets kind of startled, but you explain yourself and they go down for Bella Andra. And soon after the pale lady is striding up the stairs. She's in a very elegant, loose but well fitted gray silk dress. One of the shorter things she's worn, but not mean. Still very like elegant and long. Just you know, you can actually see her ankles a little bit because she's usually in something quite like over the top and she's in like regal flats. She's well adorned. Her hair is done up kind of like a tight overdue with like a braid that comes across the crown of her head and over the side. And she even where her hair is tied into a braid at the side, there's like a small jewel like kind. [01:42:31] Speaker F: Of inset into the. [01:42:33] Speaker A: The weave, the braid. [01:42:34] Speaker F: She says, boz. [01:42:38] Speaker C: Nice to see you again. [01:42:40] Speaker A: She smiles at you, but then walks by and starts tracing her fingers over the statue. [01:42:44] Speaker F: You did not slay the Fathom witch. You brought her to me in stone. She flits a smile back over to. [01:42:51] Speaker B: You. [01:42:53] Speaker F: Boz, I have expressed my impress with you before, but you are beginning to really leave a different impression on me. [01:43:06] Speaker C: Well, I'm sorry that it took so long to get it over to you. [01:43:10] Speaker A: She turns back and smiles to you. [01:43:11] Speaker F: And says, I'm feeling a little better about it now. Thank you. [01:43:16] Speaker C: I'm glad. [01:43:17] Speaker F: And for what it is worth, I am aware your group has other things that seem important. We all get a little trapped in our perspective, don't we? [01:43:30] Speaker A: She walks over to the hand of the statue and plucks the geode of atmospheric authority from it and she moves it around in her hands. [01:43:41] Speaker F: Ah, now this is valuable. Thank you, Boz. I find this to be a lucrative part of my future. [01:43:52] Speaker C: Oh really? What do you have planned for it? [01:43:57] Speaker F: I have a vested interest in many shipping companies here. I plan on harming no one with it. There will be no grand storms rolling in over Holmecove, but the ability to guarantee that a space within some distance of you will not have a storm on a given day. That could be very valuable to the right people. Or perhaps a mild interference of weather might delay the travel of a competitor. Nothing that's going to harm anyone, but something that might add a few days onto the journey. That's also worth quite a bit. Yeah, an option. [01:44:40] Speaker C: It's much better than what she was using it for, I'll tell you that. [01:44:44] Speaker F: Yes, Boz, I'd like to be rather frank with you. I am quite pleased. [01:44:54] Speaker A: Not only do I have one of. [01:44:55] Speaker F: My new favorite decorations to my home. She smiles at the entombed sea hag. [01:45:01] Speaker A: But she says. [01:45:04] Speaker F: I've spoken before of how I work with different groups, of how I have different friends. And I am less than pleased sometimes with the demeanor of your allies and with the heat you all bring. But for whatever reason, the Empire is retracting into itself. I'm not sure if it pleases me or concerns me, but I'm seeing an increasingly lucrative future with you all. I would like to make you all an offer, but it comes with some situations and I would like you to understand that I'm quite serious about them. [01:45:51] Speaker A: Okay. [01:45:54] Speaker F: At your feet is a teleportation circle. I am aware that you're rather keen to. Friend is good with these. If you so desire, I will permit her to learn this circle and to utilize my tower for transportation in the future. You must contact me before you use it, if you can manage. I would prefer it would be during waking hours. But I would allow you to use the Pale Tower as a point of view ingress into the city. Likewise. With permission and forward communication. If you would like to use my home as a place to find some respite, perhaps hidden away from the Empire for a time, I would offer it for this as well, if only for short stays, with further notice ahead. [01:46:52] Speaker C: That sounds like a really generous offer. Is there something that you're asking of us in return for that? [01:47:05] Speaker F: No. No. [01:47:07] Speaker A: Oh, wow. [01:47:08] Speaker F: I've been quite impressed with you all up until now. I guess what I'm asking of you is a continued relationship. Again, this is not carte blanche. I need notification. I need communication. But I am starting to really consider you all as one of the better tools at my disposal. I'm really quite starting to like you. And I think perhaps we have a profitable future together. I think there is a future in which. [01:47:44] Speaker C: Abby, I love that. [01:47:47] Speaker F: I think there is a future in which we have quite a bit to gain from each other. I am a skilled arcanist. I'm well connected. And I know K is similar, but we have different circles. I'm just proposing a continued working relationship. And I recognize that I've had the upper hand for some time. I also recognize that you recognize it, and I've been rather patient with that. I want to balance the scales a bit. [01:48:26] Speaker C: I, I feel like I've tried really hard to get better at being, being respectful and I don't know, I guess professional, which I feel like is a lot to been driven by, by you. [01:48:46] Speaker F: Thank you. [01:48:47] Speaker C: I know, I know that if I, I don't know, like, I remember our call back when, I don't know, it could. It almost went not well. So thank you. Thank you for that. And I, I, I, I'd love to be able to, you know, keep having, you know, I consider you a friend. And I, I don't know exactly, like, what your allegiance is or who you throw your banner under, you know, but you've been really, you've been nice to us. Considerably. Even if, you know, some of the people in our group may not see it in the same way that I do. But thank you. Thank you all very much. [01:49:34] Speaker F: Boz. [01:49:35] Speaker A: The look she gives you is as cold as it often is. But it's long. It's not studying or piercing, just even. [01:49:45] Speaker F: After a time, she says, you are welcome. Report back to your friends. Let me know what they say, and sure thing. Let me know of how I might be of use to you in the future. You, I'm sure, are aware I will tell you. And I have use for you. [01:50:05] Speaker C: I don't doubt. [01:50:05] Speaker F: The statue was better than good. It was better than professional. Pause. It was clever. It was, dare I say I, artistic. I'm starting to like your touch and flare. [01:50:22] Speaker A: And she sort of just like turns her hand over. And when it's turned over, it's holding a pouch in it. And she just drops it into you, or she holds it out to you. [01:50:38] Speaker C: I reach out and I take it. [01:50:39] Speaker A: She drops it into your palm. It's like a small coin bag. [01:50:42] Speaker F: She says, return to your fellows. Let me know if you need help. And let me know when you need more communication in the future. [01:50:52] Speaker C: Absolutely. I was gonna druid stuff into a rat. Try to go visit somebody I know in town. Is there any concern or things I should know or any prying eyes that would know that I'm doing that in the city? [01:51:11] Speaker F: I'm not omniscient, not to my knowledge. But if you're going to abscond from my tower, please do so a distance away. I would love to work closely with you all. I would not like to know a single soul knows that I do. Just watch the Kefkans. They are displeased with you. And I your group. [01:51:37] Speaker C: I'm wearing the cloak of Dogoth as I'm talking to her. [01:51:41] Speaker F: Your group is starting to reach a certain level. [01:51:43] Speaker B: Hello. [01:51:44] Speaker F: It's different than a. You and the warriors of the well are becoming very culturally influential. I think this might more than all others makes you enemies of the empire. I don't know what wrath might come upon you, and I do not mean to sound cold, but I don't want to be within miles of you when it does. Please keep your distance if you can. [01:52:17] Speaker C: I will. Dm. Is there a tree in the opalescent tome or something that I could tree to rather than going out or something that I saw? [01:52:26] Speaker A: No, what I mean, you could try to birdie over there and then just land at the front and go in real fast. You could see if there's any cracks to get into the building. [01:52:37] Speaker F: As an insect maybe. [01:52:41] Speaker C: And I call. Can I say. All right, all right. Do you mind giving me a second to call back over there? And then I, you know, honestly, like, if. I know if you. If you can like hold me out to a window, I can bird myself there and they can just pick me up. [01:52:56] Speaker F: Understood. [01:52:57] Speaker A: And she steps into the next chamber. [01:53:00] Speaker C: I call over, you know, do the thing. Hey, can someone. Can like someone not fun guys be at the door and like, I don't know, however long I know it's easily coordinated. [01:53:07] Speaker A: K agrees to open the door. When a sparrow flies to it and. [01:53:12] Speaker C: I turn to his. [01:53:13] Speaker A: You transform on on her finger. Bella Andra walks you to her balcony in her town where the releases you. You fly away as a bird and you fly to the opalescent and I. [01:53:22] Speaker C: Sing little bitty bird songs. I'm like a songbird. I want to turn like a songbird. [01:53:26] Speaker A: As you fly across the town whistling. You arrive at the opalescent home. The door is opened, you flutter in. Good night, Mickle. We'll see you next time. Let me know what magic items you want and we can get shopping. [01:53:42] Speaker F: Next time. [01:53:42] Speaker D: Yes. Yeah, we'll just say that Chris Craig is researching or like looking at every single magic item. [01:53:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Also remember that you are not obligated to. I mean, you can. You can sell things. You don't have to keep everything you have. You know, go for the best stuff. [01:53:57] Speaker D: Okay, I might. I might do that. I might do that. [01:54:00] Speaker A: Okay. [01:54:00] Speaker D: I love you guys. Good night. [01:54:07] Speaker A: Boss. Do you look in that coin pouch at aim point? [01:54:11] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. When I get back, I'll open it up, but I didn't want to look at it or count it while I was tower. [01:54:17] Speaker A: It's got 50 platinum in it. [01:54:23] Speaker C: That's pretty nice. That's pretty nice. [01:54:30] Speaker A: 500 gold is like what? It's like the equivalent of $150,000 dollars. [01:54:37] Speaker B: Can you remind me? I'll Google. I'll google it. [01:54:42] Speaker A: Okay. The party's in the open. Yes. [01:54:51] Speaker B: 3,000 silver, 300 platinum. [01:54:58] Speaker A: A silver is 10 copper, a gold is 10 silver, and a platinum is 10 gold. [01:55:03] Speaker B: Gold, you've totally got that. [01:55:05] Speaker A: 50 platinum is 500 gold. Jackie, a quick check in more thing is rather grand and a bit of a reveal. [01:55:15] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:55:16] Speaker A: You still want that to happen at the end of this session or would you like that to be the opener for next session? [01:55:22] Speaker E: It might be cool to be the opener so that Micah can be a part of it, I feel. Don't you think so? [01:55:29] Speaker A: I, I, I agree. Okay. Excellent. Okay, well then we will focus on shopping. Does anyone have some business they want to conduct? We also don't have to go forever. It's already been a rather full session. But does anyone have any things they want to gliggity glack before sneaking snack? Remember this can be sell and purchase. [01:55:48] Speaker B: I do. Okay. I would. Does Kanajay, does she purchase like gemstones? [01:55:55] Speaker A: You know that she does not. But there are jewelers in town who do. [01:56:00] Speaker B: Okay. I really want something that's kind of. I want two things and one of them is kind of expensive. But. And I have stuff that I have a, I have that like half golf ball sized ruby that will give me enough. [01:56:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:56:21] Speaker B: But I just. We could do that now or later. [01:56:30] Speaker A: Well, you don't. You can have that be a whole thing if you want it to. If you don't, you can just like roll out some checks to see if you can like disguise yourself, find it in the city, sell it and then get back without a problem. [01:56:47] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll do that. Before I go, I want to check with the party. Okay. Just to make sure. Okay. So I have. Well, you guys can see it in my. But I have a lot of gemstones and we can keep the gemstones if we want, but I was thinking of selling that golf ball sized ruby to get something that I want and then so if that's okay with y' all. [01:57:19] Speaker E: I'm cool with that. [01:57:21] Speaker C: I'm cool. I don't have a lot of money. I have like 73 platinum max. [01:57:26] Speaker B: I can share. [01:57:27] Speaker C: Like, like, no, but like I don't. [01:57:29] Speaker E: I don't think we have that new 50 platinum for us to split up if we want. [01:57:34] Speaker C: No, that's part of it. That's part of what's in there. [01:57:36] Speaker E: Oh, that's part of it. Okay. [01:57:38] Speaker B: Is that even including what you got from the. From Saggin's lair? [01:57:44] Speaker C: Yeah, I have like 547 gold pieces and then like almost 6,000 silver pieces. [01:57:50] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, I have a lot of. [01:57:55] Speaker C: So I honestly don't know if we can afford a lot of stuff here right now. We'd have to sell quite a bit. [01:58:03] Speaker B: I was gonna sell. I was gonna sell the. No, I'm gonna give this. But I was gonna sell my wandability. I want instability. I don't know how much that would be. And then I was gonna sell. I can sell all of those gems and that would give us. [01:58:38] Speaker E: What were you wanting, Greta? Abby, what were you wanting from Connor? [01:58:42] Speaker B: Well, I'm gonna get those darn glasses. And those are not. Those are like 500 gold or something. And I. Yeah, let me find them. I got this document and I control find glasses. So those are 400 gold. And then the thing more expensive that I kind of want, I really do want is the. So I want the scholars bifocals and I kind of want the curious speaker. It's enchanted with a strange divination. Once per long rest, you speak a command word to the stone statue and it will speak a piece of information previously unknown to you. This information is random and may range from any number of topics, perspectives or uses. I just think that might be the most credit object ever. And she's gotten really into collecting figurines. So. Yeah, I just. It is. But it's 3,000 gold. But if I sell the ruby, that's 6,000 and then we'll have. So I can do the math and figure out how much gold we would have if we sold all of our jewels. I don't know. Well, we should obviously keep the diamonds, but I have that separate. I have like a ReVega 5 diamond. [02:00:08] Speaker E: I have. There were two things that I kind of wanted and I have 990 gold on me because I have 99 platinum. [02:00:26] Speaker C: I'd like to get the lucky coin, but I feel like that'd be all of our gold. [02:00:30] Speaker B: How much is it? [02:00:31] Speaker C: A thousand gold. But it's a non attunable magic item that gives you a 50 chance of advantage once a day. That's wild. [02:00:38] Speaker B: Pretty good. If. If I said. [02:00:40] Speaker C: Anyway, just an idea. But I don't have to have it. [02:00:42] Speaker B: If I sell all of our gems, that's 10,000. So I could get. I have enough gold. No, I don't. No, I do. [02:00:55] Speaker E: I have. [02:00:56] Speaker B: I have like 200 platinum. I don't know how I. So wait, so I could get my glasses just by myself. And then if you guys are okay with it, I could use 3,000 of the gem money to get the statue, the curious statue. And then we have. So if we get Boz's coin, that's 4,000. So we still have 6,000 left over for anything that you want. Roe. [02:01:25] Speaker A: Guys, I know that restraint goes a long way in campaigns. And low and match guiding campaigns can contribute to better balance. I freaking love magic items. [02:01:39] Speaker E: Was looking at the band of Ambassador. [02:01:42] Speaker B: I was looking at that too, but I already have. I don't need. [02:01:45] Speaker E: And I was 300. [02:01:48] Speaker A: Lando. I would say that you could probably get like, I mean, you know, I mean again, there's down to negotiation. There's more that goes into it, but there's nothing. There's no reason you can couldn't assume that the broacher shielding would be like in like the 750. 750 plus range for gold. Because maybe even like a thousand plus because you're gaining resistance to an entire kind of damage, but it's a very uncommon one. And you gain resistance to a spell, but an uncommon one. So it's in like the thousand plus range. [02:02:25] Speaker B: What a poopy boy. [02:02:26] Speaker C: What about Regen Ring of Regeneration? [02:02:30] Speaker B: We have that, don't we? Oh, to sell. [02:02:33] Speaker C: Yeah. Cuz I can cash regeneration now. [02:02:35] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [02:02:36] Speaker A: That's gonna be worth more. Let me look at that bad boy. [02:02:43] Speaker E: I was also. I was also looking at the inner memoir. I feel like Ro would. [02:02:51] Speaker B: I thought of you. [02:02:53] Speaker E: Yeah, it was like Ro was the interment. [02:02:55] Speaker C: Oh yeah. [02:02:58] Speaker E: And I mean the instruments are really cool, but I feel like Ro is just. Ro is stacked with her two instruments. But I need to look at them more in depth. [02:03:13] Speaker A: Lanzo, why don't you give me an intelligence check regarding your ring of Regeneration? [02:03:19] Speaker B: I feel like there's a. [02:03:20] Speaker A: There's a home to try and appraise that intelligence. [02:03:27] Speaker C: You cannot just an intelligence check. [02:03:31] Speaker A: Yeah, no, you can make it our comment. [02:03:34] Speaker C: That's a two. Okay. Thank goodness. [02:03:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:03:42] Speaker C: You don't like that 24. [02:03:48] Speaker A: You went from a two to a 24. [02:03:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I rolled Arcana. [02:03:54] Speaker A: Oh, a new one. Okay. Yeah, I thought that was the same roll. And I was like your modifier. [02:03:59] Speaker D: I was like. [02:04:00] Speaker C: That would be pretty fun. That'd be pretty fun. [02:04:05] Speaker E: Modifier. [02:04:08] Speaker A: That's a very valuable item. You'd assume it'd be worth More than 20,000. [02:04:16] Speaker B: 20. Oh, whoa. 20,000. [02:04:23] Speaker A: I mean that's an item that can essentially keep someone alive indefinitely. It could grow back Limbs to the right people. Now, to some people this is worth little, but to the right people, this is worth a lot. And that's part of the value of the opalescent tome. You're not just selling to someone who's considering whether or not they can flip in the next couple years. You're considering. You are selling it to someone who has the best sale connections in the world and can hold items for a decade at a time. [02:04:54] Speaker C: Zach, I'm. I'm. What do. Are there any items that in this thing that you just saw, it's like, oh, that'd be really good for Boz. That like he's. [02:05:04] Speaker A: I may or may not have made a couple things with you guys in mind. I mean, nature's boon is without a doubt a druid item. That one's very capable. [02:05:14] Speaker C: Yes. [02:05:15] Speaker A: The bracers of defense are kind of killer for Greta because she doesn't technically wear armor. [02:05:21] Speaker B: Do I wear scale mail? [02:05:24] Speaker A: No. Remember? [02:05:26] Speaker B: Oh, you wear cloak. [02:05:28] Speaker A: You don't need your scale mail anymore. Which you could sell, by the way. So now that you don't wear scale mail, those braces of defense could be pretty bad. [02:05:35] Speaker B: I literally saw that and I was like, dang, I wear scale mail. [02:05:38] Speaker A: The guiling bracers are. Could really work for boss and his curling setup though. They are entombance. [02:05:43] Speaker C: Which one? [02:05:44] Speaker A: You know, the guiling bracers, they are attunement, though. I recognize that's a valuable placeholder for something that could be stronger. Me. Let's see, let's see. I mean, nature's boon is excellent for a druid. The corona of vigilance could be pretty killer on somebody in the party who has more than one attunement slot open. The chain of flesh of flesh forming is crazy. That thing's nuts. I can see that being very bozzy, but let me tell you what to do, Stinky. Let's see. Refraction could be pretty metal in Craig's hands. Let's see. [02:06:41] Speaker C: And the chain of flesh form is only a one time use, right? Like it allows you to change into each one of those things one time. [02:06:47] Speaker A: Yes. But if you keep reading, you can put new things on there. [02:06:54] Speaker C: Oh, okay. [02:06:55] Speaker A: It's just there. There are certain. There are certain stipulations on what can and can't be put on. You have to make some checks to make it work. I'm not trying to metagame, nor am I trying to force anything. Godspeed would be pretty killer on Crick, but that's it. It's a great item. It's A great item and I really want someone from one of the campaigns to get it. It would be pretty brutal on Craig in terms of how awesome it would be. But there's all sorts of good options. There's a lot of magical mirror. I mean Craig mercenary scabbard doesn't have any attunement spots. So Craig could pick up mercenary scabbard and just have it and keep having other stuff. There are a number of magical shields here and Craig has a non magical shield currently. That would be be a pretty good bonus to him. Cicatrix is a really strong item. [02:07:49] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Did you see that one? [02:07:51] Speaker E: Ru? [02:07:52] Speaker A: Very strong item. So that's a thought. The pharomancer's cloak is pretty metal for someone. For a squishy caster. You guys have a lot of different AC bonuses currently. So. So I don't know that it's worth a lot to you. It's powerful for a squishy caster. The mantle of spell resistance does not get around for whoever's looking at that. Let's see. Oh, Snibberd's shifting belt is not supposed to be attunement. That's a mistake if anyone wants to fix that. In their version. The common item Snibbered sifting belt, Shifting belt. That's not supposed to be a tournament. There are some very powerful instruments here, Rose. Pretty decked out. So I don't know. [02:08:41] Speaker E: Also Ro does not like the mandolin of tongues and like the fiddle are like extremely cool. But she does not have those proficiencies in mandolin or fiddle unfortunately. [02:08:55] Speaker A: It's not like they compare to the items she has. [02:08:58] Speaker E: Yeah, that's the thing. She's stacked with her instruments. They're very cool. [02:09:09] Speaker A: Lucky coin is cool. You guys were looking at Nifty's unlucky unlikely box for a long time. [02:09:15] Speaker E: Yeah, we were. [02:09:17] Speaker A: There's this. The stone of controlling Earth elementals is interesting. It's not essential but it's powerful. The twine of binding is an interesting little fun item. [02:09:31] Speaker B: I saw that. I really like it. [02:09:32] Speaker A: It might also be interesting. It might be worth looking in the potions. I mean I know investment in long time use items is the most valuable but you know, consumables are worth something for whatever they're worth. You guys are power skilled out of a lot of these at this point. But like a potion of giant strength is not a bad thing to own. Even though they are very expensive. A potion of flying is great for a desperate moment. Bottled talent is. These are expensive but it's worth something. There Are valuable things here. There are some options in the tomes and script. [02:10:09] Speaker B: I really, really want that. That was just way too expensive. [02:10:15] Speaker A: But arrows. Oh, sorry. I'm sorry. It was at the tome of clear thought. I thought that's what you wanted. That would make Greta stupid intelligent. [02:10:29] Speaker E: I love the inner memoir. [02:10:32] Speaker B: Inner memoir. [02:10:33] Speaker A: The different arrows would be a serious buff to tello though situational. [02:10:43] Speaker F: See. [02:10:47] Speaker A: If you suspect to have a lot more underwater parts of your story. The jaws of the deep are pretty killer, but if you think not, you don't have to. Yeah, I mean those are probably most of the standouts. [02:11:02] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:11:02] Speaker A: Do you guys have any selling, you know that you want to do? [02:11:05] Speaker B: I do. I want to sell my Wand of Instability. [02:11:10] Speaker A: Okay. Could you read to me what the Wand of Instability does? [02:11:14] Speaker B: Cast grease twice every long rest and sleet storm once every three days. I think we got it instead. [02:11:22] Speaker E: Yeah. It was when you didn't have any magic. So it would give you something, you know, in a quick. In a quick need. [02:11:29] Speaker F: Right. [02:11:30] Speaker A: Could you. [02:11:30] Speaker B: I do not. [02:11:32] Speaker A: Could you send me those details? Could you message me that? Or actually could you message it in lore and reference and at me in it? [02:11:42] Speaker B: Okay. [02:11:45] Speaker A: For the Wand of Instability. I think. I think K would buy that from you for 250 gold. [02:12:01] Speaker B: Okay. [02:12:04] Speaker A: Sold. [02:12:10] Speaker B: Yes. [02:12:11] Speaker F: Okay. [02:12:11] Speaker A: Anything else? You can also do your like little dip out disguise and try and sell your gemstones. This can take the course of a couple days. There's no rush on that in. [02:12:32] Speaker E: We're gonna sit here for two days more wrap ups. [02:12:38] Speaker B: I do think I want to do that. I checked with the party just to make sure that we don't have any objections to that. [02:12:44] Speaker C: But to what? [02:12:45] Speaker E: I don't. [02:12:46] Speaker A: The wand. Which one? [02:12:48] Speaker B: All of the gemstones in my inventory. [02:12:52] Speaker C: I'm not. I'm not opposed to that. [02:12:54] Speaker B: Okay. [02:12:54] Speaker E: As long as you don't sell the diamond. [02:12:56] Speaker A: In that case, Greta, can you tell me how it is that you're disguising yourself around the city? [02:13:11] Speaker E: I don't think they do. [02:13:15] Speaker B: I'm checking. [02:13:16] Speaker A: Think on that, Abby. Does anybody else have some things they would clearly like to sell? [02:13:21] Speaker E: I was wondering if I could buy two things if the party was not opposed to me buying them. I wanted the band of Ambassador. If Abby's okay with that because I know you said you were looking at it. And the. And the inner memoir. [02:13:50] Speaker F: Okay. [02:13:51] Speaker A: Are you buying those, Ro? [02:13:54] Speaker E: Yes. [02:13:55] Speaker A: Okay. Put the band of the Ambassador in the inner memoir in your inventory. Feel free to just copy it from the document. I mean you have the details and Then I will highlight them on my sheet as having been purchased. And then. And what is the total of gold that you are deducting? [02:14:13] Speaker E: So that's 300 and 125. So 425. But I'm gonna pay for it in platinum, if that's okay. [02:14:23] Speaker A: That's fine. As long. [02:14:24] Speaker E: Well, it would be. It would be 40 platinum. Correct. And then I'll give 25 gold. [02:14:31] Speaker A: Yes. [02:14:32] Speaker E: Okay. [02:14:40] Speaker C: Zach. [02:14:42] Speaker A: Yes. [02:14:43] Speaker C: I want to try and trade the Ring of Regeneration for one of those books that permanently increases stats. [02:14:53] Speaker A: Fascinating. [02:14:58] Speaker C: The thing is, I feel like that's like our hold value of wealth. So I. There are some things that I am like, interested in, but I don't want to do anything until Craig gets back or we have like a total list of what everybody wants because I don't want to like, give away the thing that makes that has the most money for something that's only for me. [02:15:16] Speaker A: Could you make me and make me an intelligence check? [02:15:25] Speaker C: That's the thing. I'm not good at that. I'm trying to get better, actually. That is a 15. [02:15:33] Speaker A: No, 15 is enough. It was DC14 or DC13, rather. Your previous estimate is that it's your regeneration's worth at least 20. [02:15:46] Speaker C: I know. So I probably could get one. [02:15:49] Speaker A: You imagine a trade is probably less valuable than a cell like. [02:15:53] Speaker C: Oh, I could get more. [02:15:54] Speaker F: More. [02:15:57] Speaker A: Yeah. Those tomes are. Are 18. [02:16:01] Speaker C: So I could get that and some other stuff, man. I have a. It's con and intelligence, and I have an odd number in both of those, which is sad. So it wouldn't really even get me a whole lot except a plus one on those checks. Did someone leave? [02:16:20] Speaker A: Is everything okay? Where did I. Where did I. [02:16:26] Speaker C: What are you last. [02:16:29] Speaker B: Talking. [02:16:30] Speaker A: I'm sorry. [02:16:33] Speaker C: I don't remember you. [02:16:34] Speaker A: I. I was just gonna say you were aware that the Ring of Regeneration is. I mean, it's not the most, but it's one of the more valuable items. [02:16:40] Speaker F: It's. [02:16:40] Speaker A: It's like a keep me alive indefinitely and heal limbs and to the right person who Kane knows that's one of the most valuable items in the world. [02:16:49] Speaker C: Okay, Okay. [02:16:53] Speaker A: I mean, there. There are probably like vastly wealthy nobles with lethal congenitive conditions who could purchase this ring and then preserve their entire life. [02:17:04] Speaker B: So this is seriously away from them. [02:17:09] Speaker C: Should I do constitution or. Intelligence is the thing. [02:17:16] Speaker A: Do you sell the ring? [02:17:20] Speaker C: Yeah, I. I. Guys, do y' all oppose me selling the ring? [02:17:24] Speaker E: You can cast it now. I am not opposed to it. If. If no one could cast it. I'D be like, o, what if one of us loses an arm and we can no longer cast? But since you can, I'm not super worried about it. [02:17:42] Speaker C: Okay. So, yeah, I. I'm pro. I'm gonna sell the Ring of Regeneration. Can we put like a star next to this one that, like, if Micah gets back and she's like, why did you do that? I need that. Or like, like, like, maybe try to figure something out, but I don't know. I'm fine with selling it. We're selling it. I have executive action. I'm doing it. [02:18:04] Speaker B: Do it. [02:18:05] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [02:18:06] Speaker B: Sleeper's going to sleep. He sleep. [02:18:09] Speaker A: Can you make a persuasion check for me? [02:18:13] Speaker C: Yes, yes, I can. Persuasion. [02:18:21] Speaker A: Oh, go ahead. [02:18:22] Speaker C: No, no, no, you're fine. That. Oh, my gosh. Zachary33. [02:18:33] Speaker A: That might be boss's all time highest role. Okay, excellent. Now, boss, I want you to roll D100. So you have, you have. You have persuaded Kanajay excellently of its. I mean, she is very discerning, but you have presented its value excellently. Now I want you to roll a D100 for me. This is. This is whether or not Kanajay currently has someone in mind to whom this would be greatly valuable. She already sees its value. I know in my head the amount that this has guaranteed you. If you get within. If you get within 33. That was your persuasion check of my roll. It will increase the value of your item because Kanjet will not be buying this for a future sell. She knows where she could sell it now for more. [02:19:21] Speaker C: Okay, I rolled a 37. [02:19:24] Speaker E: Oh, holy crap. Oh, that's. Oh, I was thinking out of natural on a 20. I was like, what? [02:19:30] Speaker A: I rolled a 91, so don't worry about it. It would be for a future purchase. She'll buy it from you for 23, 000. [02:19:38] Speaker C: Okay. [02:19:39] Speaker E: Wow. [02:19:41] Speaker C: Sounds good to me. Ching, ching. What is the. What is Some money goes into thousand gold cash register. [02:19:49] Speaker B: That was it. You did it. [02:19:51] Speaker C: Okay. I'm still having fun though. I'm not sleeping on the job. The abdurational discs, I'm also open to selling. Okay, 20. Those are the ones that we found in the cave with the mushrooms that made them dance forever. [02:20:10] Speaker A: No. Oh, yes. Yes. [02:20:12] Speaker E: Wait, the what? [02:20:15] Speaker B: The what that made the mushrooms dance for a child. [02:20:17] Speaker A: Buy those off of you? Yeah, she sees the potential in that item. She'd buy those off of you for 600. Because they're very powerful, just in a specific way. [02:20:29] Speaker C: Right, and how much did you say. [02:20:31] Speaker A: For the ring of regeneration? [02:20:31] Speaker C: 23,000. [02:20:33] Speaker A: Yep. All right, so ring for 20. For 23,000 abduration of this for 600 gold piece. [02:20:42] Speaker B: Wow, that's incredible, Landon. [02:20:43] Speaker C: I think I'm gonna keep the brooch of shielding. What about the dagger of double animal speaking? [02:20:52] Speaker A: She would buy that from you for two gold. [02:20:56] Speaker C: You know what it does, right? [02:20:59] Speaker A: Yeah, but you have to stab the animal for you to talk to it. [02:21:04] Speaker E: That's not vegan. [02:21:08] Speaker C: We're not eating the animal, Jackie. It's just trying to talk to him. [02:21:14] Speaker E: To animals. Just for future Rachel. [02:21:17] Speaker A: Jackie learns about all the things she owns that have leather in them. [02:21:20] Speaker E: Yeah, I don't want to talk about it. We don't talk about that. Back in the day of 3488pb, they had. [02:21:29] Speaker A: We're doing what they had to do. [02:21:31] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:21:32] Speaker C: I take Kanajay the banded ring that we found found from the. The. The keep that we didn't know what it does but it has a hum when we hold it. Is that. What is it? [02:21:42] Speaker E: What ring? The band from the key. [02:21:45] Speaker A: Give me some context on that. [02:21:47] Speaker C: Ring of banded ring of metals. 51 around each other has a hum when you hold it in your hand. [02:21:52] Speaker A: Okay, let me open document. Abby, did you ever. I can find it, Abby. No, no, that's okay. I mean, it's kind of fun digging through my crap. I didn't have to say like that, Abby. What? [02:22:12] Speaker C: What? [02:22:12] Speaker A: What did you come to as a conclusion for getting into the city and selling crap? Why am I. Stop. Stop it, Pat. [02:22:17] Speaker E: Crap, crap, crap, crap. I would like to ask me what if I. [02:22:24] Speaker B: What I would say, Ro, is there a way that you can disguise me? [02:22:29] Speaker E: Well, I'm thinking Lando Bella's called disguise self, unfortunately. [02:22:35] Speaker B: I see. I see. [02:22:36] Speaker E: I could though. I could polymorph you into something to get out. Well, I could. Okay, if this is over a few days. [02:22:47] Speaker A: Zach, you could transform and go do it for her. [02:22:50] Speaker E: Well, I could go with you. Well, I could go with you. She says in I could disguise myself and polymorph you and when we get inside the store, you could unpolymorph do your business. Then I could polymorph you back and the whole time I would be a normal looking person walking around with like a cat or something. [02:23:12] Speaker B: Yeah, that sounds good to me. [02:23:14] Speaker E: Okay, sounds like a plan. Let's do it. [02:23:17] Speaker B: We're just gonna. Okay. [02:23:18] Speaker E: A fun little. A fun little disguise adventure. Love it. [02:23:21] Speaker B: Yes. Thank you for going with me, Rick. [02:23:24] Speaker E: I. Of course. [02:23:26] Speaker B: No trash in my closet. [02:23:29] Speaker A: Okay. So, Ro, I need you and Greta to give me an investigation check. Either both of you or somebody with help. And then if you succeed, which I assume you will, I'll need a persuasion check on trying to sell all these for their full value. Because remember, nobody's gonna buy anything from you at cost value. They need to buy it from you for. They need to believe that they can sell it for more than they're buying you. [02:23:52] Speaker E: Yeah, I'll do it. Investigation first. You say Greta, or do you wanna. Or Abby. Do you wanna do it or do you want me to do it? [02:24:03] Speaker B: Link how many times you have in your number? [02:24:07] Speaker C: Guys, I'll go first. I have a question. [02:24:11] Speaker E: Okay, you go. You do it then. But do it with the help. I'm helping you. [02:24:15] Speaker C: Oh, sorry. Nevermind. [02:24:17] Speaker E: What? [02:24:18] Speaker A: Lando, did you see my message in the thing? [02:24:22] Speaker C: Oh, you found what? The ring did. It was a band of unruly illusions. Transformed you into weird disguises. [02:24:27] Speaker E: Wait, that's ironic. [02:24:32] Speaker C: I give it to Greta. I say, hey, you should have this. [02:24:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:24:37] Speaker C: Yeah. Why don't we sell Dolgoth's mace? Terror. It's curse. Like we don't want to use it. Like. Like we found out. I don't know, we could ask. [02:24:51] Speaker B: Bro, you haven't. I still. How long does that have it? [02:24:57] Speaker E: No, you don't have inspiration anymore. [02:24:59] Speaker C: You said she would. [02:25:00] Speaker A: Yes, she. First of all, she doesn't just buy items to resell them. Sometimes she buys them to keep them out of certain hands. [02:25:10] Speaker E: True, true. [02:25:12] Speaker A: You have to remember, Kanache is not like wealthy. [02:25:14] Speaker C: She's. [02:25:17] Speaker A: Ridiculously rich. She's also not. She's also not just like in this business for profit. I mean she is in. She's. She's allied with the Manabus, other organizations. Like this is more than just her profile. Her for profit business though it is also that she is. [02:25:35] Speaker B: Is she a 501C3? [02:25:38] Speaker C: How much would she. How much would she take for Dilgot's Maze? [02:25:41] Speaker A: Remind me what it does or do I need to look that up? [02:25:44] Speaker C: I'm looking for the document frantically. I know what it's called and I know I downloaded it relatively recently, but. [02:25:50] Speaker F: Let me see. [02:25:51] Speaker C: Oh, I just. [02:25:51] Speaker A: I will find it. [02:25:52] Speaker C: Found it. [02:25:53] Speaker A: Okay. Excellent. [02:25:54] Speaker C: Okay, I'm opening it up. [02:25:55] Speaker A: What did you get on your check, Jackie? [02:25:58] Speaker B: I got a 15. [02:26:00] Speaker E: I was doing it. I mean Greta. I mean Abby. [02:26:03] Speaker C: Whoa. [02:26:04] Speaker E: Am I turning into Zach? [02:26:08] Speaker A: All right, you guys find the shops that you need and then persuasion. Check for its value. [02:26:13] Speaker E: Do you want to do persuasion or me? [02:26:16] Speaker B: How many? [02:26:17] Speaker A: Your modifier is much higher, bro. [02:26:19] Speaker B: Let's you do it. Can I assist? Can I help. [02:26:23] Speaker F: As a cat? [02:26:24] Speaker E: Oh, does she? Well, I guess. I guess she doesn't un Polymorph in the shop. They might not like that. [02:26:32] Speaker A: Do you own Polymorph? [02:26:33] Speaker E: That's true. We don't know if they're a fun against or for fun guys form. [02:26:37] Speaker A: From a cat to a. [02:26:39] Speaker E: To a fun guy. [02:26:40] Speaker A: Incredibly wanted criminal. [02:26:41] Speaker B: No. [02:26:42] Speaker E: I'm gonna use my inspiration. [02:26:48] Speaker B: Little man. [02:26:49] Speaker E: Okay, that's a little better. That's 16. [02:26:58] Speaker A: What's the total estimated value of those gems, Abby? [02:27:02] Speaker B: 10,000. [02:27:07] Speaker A: They'll buy it from you for eight. 8,000? Yeah. [02:27:14] Speaker E: Can I do an intelligence check to see if that's like a good deal or if I could get a little more. [02:27:22] Speaker C: Or. [02:27:26] Speaker A: They'Ll buy it from you. Freight. Okay. [02:27:29] Speaker C: You're really bad at negotiating. [02:27:31] Speaker E: I can't turn to my cat. I turn to the cat and say, what do you. [02:27:36] Speaker A: Okay. In the jewel shop, the grown woman turns to the cat with her and. [02:27:41] Speaker E: Begins speaking and says, what do you think? [02:27:44] Speaker A: Spider looks vaguely concerned. [02:27:50] Speaker E: You can only shake your head yes or no. [02:27:54] Speaker B: I don't know. I shake my head now and I look at the door. [02:27:57] Speaker E: Do you look at the door? [02:28:02] Speaker C: I have the mace info ready if y' all want to take a second. [02:28:05] Speaker A: To think with the mace info while they do this. [02:28:07] Speaker C: All right. [02:28:07] Speaker A: So feel free to message each other back forth about this as well. [02:28:10] Speaker C: Y' all can message. Yeah. So it's a plus two maze with three charges that make everybody in a 30 foot sphere frightened, basically. And it has a curse on it. I don't know. I don't remember what it was, but it was like, bad enough. So we were like, glad we didn't give that to Greta. That would have been awful. [02:28:30] Speaker A: She would buy that from you for three. [02:28:32] Speaker F: Okay. [02:28:32] Speaker C: 3,000. [02:28:35] Speaker A: Mm. [02:28:35] Speaker C: Okay. I'm down to sell the mace for 3,000 guys. I think to my friends and I wonder if they hear me. [02:28:42] Speaker A: I don't think you guys are gonna use it. [02:28:44] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm down. [02:28:48] Speaker A: You're not walking out of here so poor. [02:28:50] Speaker C: Yeah, right. Crazy guys. [02:29:02] Speaker E: Ha. [02:29:05] Speaker C: All right, cool. So we're selling terror. And right now I have set for the stuff I'm selling. We're gonna get 26,600 gold. [02:29:18] Speaker B: Wow. [02:29:19] Speaker C: And I. I was interested in the scholars bifocals. [02:29:23] Speaker B: You're lying. Are you lying to me, Landon? [02:29:26] Speaker C: I was getting them thinking about you. [02:29:29] Speaker B: Oh. [02:29:30] Speaker C: I wasn't gonna wear them. You don't have to attune to them, which is what makes them so cool. [02:29:34] Speaker B: Those are on my list. [02:29:35] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Those are 100% Gretas. I just want to make sure I wrote them down. [02:29:42] Speaker A: Boss. Do you buy them? [02:29:43] Speaker C: Yeah, I buy them. While they're off doing their thing, I pick these up and I see Greta's little grubby finger prints on it. Oh, she wants this. And so I. I go take it and I'm buy it for her. [02:29:58] Speaker E: Y' all are chill that I bought what I bought, right? [02:30:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:30:01] Speaker C: What did you buy? I don't even know. [02:30:03] Speaker E: I bought the band of Ambassador and inner memoir. I just. I didn't really buy anything last time. And the band of ambassador is cool. Cuz row doesn't have tongues and now she can talk to people and stuff. And the inner memoir thing is just a very row thing. I think. [02:30:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:30:18] Speaker C: Those like some of the most good deals. I think in the shop. I would be crazy not to buy those. In my opinion. Find a good deal. Like that was Black Friday. The chain of flesh form is very good. I really like it. I I really like it. [02:30:38] Speaker A: Yes. Grievgar. [02:30:42] Speaker B: Okay, I agree with. [02:30:48] Speaker E: We're going to take the 8. Deal or no deal? I'm pressing down the button. Deal. [02:30:55] Speaker A: Please add 8, 000 gold to someone's inventory. [02:30:59] Speaker C: Landon, do you want to add that 8,000 gold? You know, you add it to your inventory. [02:31:06] Speaker E: Do you want me to add it to mine or do you want Here, Greta, Abby, just add it to yours. Add it to the cat's inventory. Inventory. [02:31:13] Speaker A: And then the party goes back in the untransform and they're back and they have the money. [02:31:16] Speaker E: I put it on the cat. The cat carried the money. [02:31:21] Speaker A: That's the cat would be harmed. [02:31:24] Speaker E: Oh, true. I didn't do that. I hid it. We're fine. [02:31:29] Speaker F: Okay. [02:31:31] Speaker B: I was looking at the curious speaker, which is 3, 000 gold. And then those brazers, which I believe are 5,000 gold. So that's a total of 8, 000 gold. So it would use up all of the gold that I just made from selling them money selling the jewels. [02:31:46] Speaker C: Yeah. Go crazy. We still have a lot. [02:31:47] Speaker A: Have any other items you want to buy? I want to sell. [02:31:51] Speaker C: I would sell. I I. Not that I know of right now. It may change by next episode. I do have a question. [02:32:00] Speaker E: Zach. [02:32:00] Speaker B: I would like to buy. [02:32:01] Speaker F: They always happen. [02:32:03] Speaker A: I'm sorry, Abby. [02:32:04] Speaker F: Just go. [02:32:05] Speaker B: I go ahead. [02:32:07] Speaker A: Okay. And we'll wrap up soon here. Kanajer is responsive and ready for pause. [02:32:11] Speaker C: I hold up the unknown talisman. I'm like, so what's this thing's Deal. [02:32:15] Speaker E: What's deal? [02:32:17] Speaker F: In all of my time owning it, I have never been able to decipher it. Gives off no clear intonation, of course, but I also, for the life of me, cannot identify it as Abby. [02:32:31] Speaker C: Greta speaks deepest speech. Deep speech, right? [02:32:37] Speaker A: I mean, when you all cast deepest speech, cat case you speak that. [02:32:42] Speaker C: Wait, what? I didn't hear what you said. [02:32:44] Speaker A: Zach, Deepest speech is a language that you can speak when casting the spell. [02:32:49] Speaker E: I have it, but that doesn't. I don't think that would help in that situation. [02:32:56] Speaker A: Scholars. Bifocals. She can read anything. [02:32:58] Speaker E: Yeah. Okay. [02:33:00] Speaker C: I put on the bifocals and I look at the Uno talisman. [02:33:03] Speaker E: I feel like K has probably tried that. [02:33:05] Speaker C: Right. [02:33:07] Speaker F: Right. [02:33:10] Speaker A: The symbols do not translate into language. They look. They. They are. They are not just letters from some unknown Alphabet. They are something else. Which makes sense, right? They're are sigils. There are all sorts of other things they could be. [02:33:25] Speaker C: What? Where did it come from? [02:33:29] Speaker F: It was brought in by someone who bought it off trade from someone else who found it. I've never been able to perceive much information on. Seems to defy most efforts to learn about it. [02:33:43] Speaker A: You intimidate. I slipped into tello. [02:33:46] Speaker F: It seems to if I most efforts to learn anything about it. [02:33:57] Speaker C: Okay, okay, okay, okay. Very interesting. [02:34:02] Speaker B: Could figure that out. [02:34:03] Speaker A: Oh, you were starting to say something a little bit ago. [02:34:06] Speaker B: Yes, I would like to buy my items, please. [02:34:12] Speaker E: I would like to. [02:34:13] Speaker A: You are buying. [02:34:14] Speaker B: I am buying the bracers of defense. [02:34:17] Speaker A: Holy crap. [02:34:19] Speaker B: What? [02:34:21] Speaker A: That's just awesome. [02:34:22] Speaker B: So you told me you get. So I'm getting it. [02:34:25] Speaker A: Okay. I hope you're not getting anything because I told you. [02:34:27] Speaker B: No, no, no. I was. I was. Those were awesome. And they're pretty. [02:34:31] Speaker A: Okay. [02:34:32] Speaker B: And then I. [02:34:37] Speaker A: You what? [02:34:39] Speaker B: The. The curious speaker. Let me make sure I have enough attunement flops, though. [02:34:46] Speaker E: Well, you have one extra now. [02:34:48] Speaker C: Zach, I just had. Sorry, I just skipped in what y' all were doing. Never mind. Y' all keep going. Sorry. [02:34:54] Speaker B: The bifocals do not need. Correct. [02:34:57] Speaker A: The bifocals do not need attunement. [02:34:59] Speaker B: Okay. So I get rid of my want of instability. So that gives me two. So I have the Beautiful, beautiful. Your tattoo is in your tattoos there. And then I have. Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. I would like to buy those two things. [02:35:26] Speaker A: And they are marked off. And they are both bought. Greta, as you put on those bracers of defense, you just slip. You slip your cloaks over them, and they're like light metal wraps around Your wrist and you are feeling sturdy. What is your current AC buddy? [02:35:40] Speaker B: A19. [02:35:44] Speaker E: I need to buff my AC, guys. [02:35:47] Speaker B: I feel so good. [02:35:48] Speaker A: What are you saying, Lando? [02:35:51] Speaker C: I want to see. I asked K if I can. So do you mind if I put the necklace on? I wonder if it connects, like if something will change. If someone who has like a subclass. Like I say, not subclass, but you know, like a class of the maker to it fully prepared to pay for the price of it if something goes wrong or if it's, you know. [02:36:12] Speaker F: Okay. I know very little about it. Are you comfortable with this? [02:36:18] Speaker C: I mean. Yes. [02:36:23] Speaker A: I just always want to make sure that customers are. [02:36:25] Speaker C: Yes, yes, yes, absolutely. [02:36:27] Speaker A: She hands it to you. All right. [02:36:28] Speaker C: Do any sound like a waiver or like an NDA or something? Okay. I put it on. [02:36:31] Speaker A: You slide the band over your neck and it just rests on your chest. Do you interact with it in any particular way or do you just put it on? [02:36:40] Speaker C: It's hollow in the center, right? I put it on and I try to attune to it. [02:36:54] Speaker A: Good. Lando, as you focus on it first. [02:37:01] Speaker C: Oh, but I have to drop an attunement slot. I'll figure that out in a little bit. Yes, yes. [02:37:05] Speaker F: Okay. [02:37:06] Speaker A: As you focus on it for a bit, think deeply about it. [02:37:14] Speaker F: Give me. [02:37:17] Speaker A: Give me a charisma saving throw. [02:37:20] Speaker C: Oh, no, Zachary. This bad. [02:37:24] Speaker F: Who knows? [02:37:25] Speaker C: Zachary, Charisma saving throw. What's my thing? Where's Craig when you need him? Huh? Okay, that is a. [02:37:41] Speaker F: 18. [02:37:43] Speaker C: I have a plus one in charisma saving throw. So that was about as good as I can get. [02:37:52] Speaker F: Pauses. [02:37:52] Speaker A: You. You all watch as. As Boz just puts the talisman on. Boz, You. You put it on. You focus on it. I mean, you have like four or five good blinks and nothing happens. It's nothing. Ro. You watch Boz put the talisman on and get extremely still. He goes like a minute without moving, without blinking. He's breathing. You all say his name is a couple. His name a couple times. No response. Little poking, prodding, nothing. He's like this for three minutes. Four. [02:38:44] Speaker F: Buzz. [02:38:49] Speaker A: I mean, you take. You put it on and you. You take it off right in the middle. Like the third blink. [02:38:58] Speaker F: You. [02:38:58] Speaker A: You switch where there's just the smallest little. But I mean, like, it's not that long. It's just like a. [02:39:14] Speaker C: Like a whisper, like a weird voice. [02:39:16] Speaker A: It feels like it, but that it was that long, though. It stretched out. If it even happened. No. [02:39:27] Speaker F: You take it off. [02:39:28] Speaker A: It wasn't anything. Ro. 6, 7, minutes. K tries a couple minor spells. Nothing seems to break him out. [02:39:43] Speaker E: Is he like blinking or are his eyes like open or closed? [02:39:49] Speaker A: But he's just staring. You all put your fingers in front of his eyes. The pupils don't track the movement. Push him. You move him. [02:40:00] Speaker F: Nothing. [02:40:04] Speaker A: Baz, you take the talisman off. Nothing happened. Okay. Roa, you guys are nearing 10 minutes. There's no response from him. Some slightly stronger spellcraft is attempted. There's no response. Yeah, Boz, you. You take the necklace off. Nothing. And you're just standing there holding it. [02:40:33] Speaker E: Is he now has watches. [02:40:35] Speaker A: Boss finally takes the necklace off. [02:40:37] Speaker E: And it's been how long now, Boz? [02:40:39] Speaker A: I mean, three or four blinks. There's nothing. You felt like you heard something in the middle, but you weren't really sure of what. [02:40:48] Speaker E: Rose just punches you for something. What the heck? Balls. [02:41:00] Speaker C: Wait, do I still have the necklace on Zach here? Or is it off? [02:41:03] Speaker A: No, it's off. It's in your hands. [02:41:05] Speaker C: Does it look like to them that I have it on? [02:41:09] Speaker A: No. Oh yeah. Okay. Now you take it off. You thought you already did, but you slip it off your neck and it's off. Yeah. Okay. It's in your hands now. That was weird. It was in your hand. No. Okay, you got. I mean boss has finally taken it off. You can see it there. [02:41:32] Speaker B: We see that he's taking it off. [02:41:35] Speaker E: You were out for like. [02:41:36] Speaker B: That's what happened? [02:41:38] Speaker C: Yeah, I put a weird necklace on and now I keep thinking I take it off and it. It won't come off now. So. [02:41:47] Speaker E: Yeah, you weren't blinking. K tried to like snap you out of it with some different magic. [02:41:54] Speaker C: Weird. [02:41:56] Speaker E: What were you doing? [02:41:58] Speaker C: I was just hanging out. [02:42:00] Speaker F: Has anything. Did you. [02:42:02] Speaker A: Did you. [02:42:03] Speaker E: What? Yeah. What did you experience? [02:42:06] Speaker C: Nothing. I just kind of hung out. I heard some weird whispering. [02:42:09] Speaker E: What do you mean you hung out? [02:42:13] Speaker C: I. I don't know. I. [02:42:14] Speaker E: Would you. Wait. Okay. Just a thing. Would you say you hung out cuz you thought you just took it on and off? [02:42:21] Speaker C: I don't know how to describe this. [02:42:22] Speaker A: Ultra metagamy he gives. Sorry. [02:42:24] Speaker E: I'm sorry. It just bugged me. I'm sorry. [02:42:27] Speaker A: It gets the best of us sometimes. [02:42:31] Speaker C: Listen, as a player, we all heard the same thing and I don't think I'll be able to give any different description of what happened. [02:42:38] Speaker B: How long did you have it on? [02:42:41] Speaker C: I don't know. Felt like not that long. But I guess it was long for you guys. [02:42:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:42:49] Speaker A: Are you wanting to purchase it Garnishes. [02:42:53] Speaker C: I don't Know. [02:42:57] Speaker E: It seems a little fishy to me. [02:42:59] Speaker F: Then you let me know how you feel about it. [02:43:01] Speaker C: Okay? Yeah, I'll have to. I gotta think about it. Boz, can I do, like, any type of. [02:43:09] Speaker A: Yes, you like? Oh, no, go ahead. What were you gonna say? [02:43:11] Speaker C: We're gonna say I was gonna try to do some type of. Did the weird whispers sound like deepest speech to me? [02:43:19] Speaker A: No, it wasn't many voiced and the many voices are resonant, choral. Even if in speech somehow this was. Well, I mean, it wasn't like a whisper. It was short, it was brief. [02:43:35] Speaker F: It was fleeting, thin, far. [02:43:42] Speaker A: It's different. Very. [02:43:46] Speaker C: Am I left with kind of like a feeling of confusion or do. Do I have any type of, like. [02:43:56] Speaker F: What is it? [02:43:58] Speaker C: So did I, like, put it on and take it off multiple times? [02:44:02] Speaker A: No, you put it on and you talk. You took it. I mean. No. Huh. Everyone else you saw Boz put it on stands still a long time. Take it off. [02:44:24] Speaker C: For me, it felt like I took it off and then all of a sudden I just had it again. And then I was like, oh, I should probably take this off. And then I took it off. [02:44:31] Speaker A: Yeah, but then it was on. No, but you took it off. Kanajay gestures to the. To the case. [02:44:42] Speaker C: Is it in there? [02:44:44] Speaker A: No, like, if you want to put it back up. [02:44:46] Speaker C: Oh, okay. I put it back in the case. [02:44:50] Speaker A: Okay, Boz, I mean, you put it back up and continue what you're doing. Everyone else, you watch as Boz stands in front of the case staring at the talisman. [02:45:08] Speaker B: For how long? [02:45:13] Speaker A: Oh, okay, boss, now you. Oh, okay, this thing's weird. You put it back up. Yeah, okay, now it's in there. You guys watched boss stare at it for like a minute or two. Now he puts it back up. Kanajay closes the case behind him and gives him a concerned look and says. [02:45:34] Speaker F: Let me know if you want that one. Let's think it over. [02:45:37] Speaker C: Okay. Do I have an empty attunement slot now, or is it still, like, am I unable to. [02:45:44] Speaker A: You can unattune from it. [02:45:46] Speaker C: Okay. Yes. [02:45:49] Speaker B: I asked kanej I say did. Have you had that experience with it or have you seen someone else? [02:45:56] Speaker F: I've never put it on. [02:45:58] Speaker E: Mark? [02:46:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:46:03] Speaker A: Does anyone else have any other buying or selling right now? Otherwise, we can wrap up for this evening. Because remember, we can just come back and do more of this next time. You guys can read this document like crazy. The question I really want to ask is just do. Do Jackie or Abby, do Greta or Ro have anything else to sell so you guys come in next time. The Max goods. [02:46:30] Speaker B: Do you guys think we should sell the Kuo Toa stone? Because I kept it for a while just because Kuo Toa were dangerous to us. But I feel as though now like a couple Kuo Toa. I don't know. I mean, like, a big ambush could obviously be dangerous. But what do you guys think? Do you think that's something that it would be helpful for the boat to have? [02:46:56] Speaker E: I don't know. I don't think it's necessary that we have it. [02:47:00] Speaker B: Okay. What do you think? Boss Landon. Boss Landon. [02:47:06] Speaker C: What does the stone do again? [02:47:09] Speaker B: So it glows when you point it in the direction of a Kuo Toa ship. I guess it's like a. It could be. It could be quite helpful for the boat. I don't know if it's necessarily. [02:47:29] Speaker C: I feel like something. We get ishpaguba, but I don't think we would use it. [02:47:33] Speaker B: Yeah. It glows when pointed towards a Kuo Toa cloud. Clerical staff. [02:47:38] Speaker C: Oh, I don't think we need that. I think we can sell it. [02:47:41] Speaker B: Okay. So I offer that. [02:47:44] Speaker A: Okay. It's a highly specific item. She takes it for 50. [02:47:49] Speaker B: Okay. [02:47:56] Speaker C: Oh, do we want to show her any of the weird books we got from the West Wood? [02:48:05] Speaker B: Didn't. I thought we didn't. [02:48:07] Speaker A: If you guys want to do anything kind of in depth and Lori like that. Okay. Yeah, because we're probably. [02:48:11] Speaker C: That's a good idea. That's a good. [02:48:13] Speaker A: We're approaching our time limit. [02:48:14] Speaker E: I mean, I figure when Ro was talking to her, she showed her the osmondryacon, probably. But we can get into that next session if you want. [02:48:22] Speaker C: I get the lucky coin. [02:48:24] Speaker A: Make a note to get into the Osmodrecon with her next time. Like, could somebody write that down? [02:48:29] Speaker E: I will. [02:48:30] Speaker A: You buy the lucky coin? [02:48:32] Speaker C: Yes, I do. [02:48:34] Speaker F: Okay, you guys are clear now. [02:48:37] Speaker A: Here. That's a thousand. [02:48:41] Speaker C: Yes. [02:48:43] Speaker F: Okay. [02:48:45] Speaker E: Does that require attunement? [02:48:46] Speaker C: No. [02:48:47] Speaker A: No. [02:48:48] Speaker E: Wow. So if anyone needed to hold on to it for a bit. [02:48:52] Speaker A: Yeah, our fat is real hot in my chair. [02:48:56] Speaker E: Ew. [02:48:58] Speaker C: Leaf face. [02:48:59] Speaker A: Oh, God. [02:49:02] Speaker B: Did you poop? [02:49:06] Speaker C: I love that. That's one of the last questions. I say, let's close out this episode, and then if we still want to chat, like, after, that's fine and cool. I just feel bad for anybody who's actually listening to this, like. [02:49:17] Speaker A: Like, where I'm not telling anyone what to do with other players in their time and energy. But if anyone wants to encourage Micah next time to evaluate how many magic items Craig might need, how many magical weapons one person could use. There might be a lot of money there. [02:49:35] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:49:37] Speaker A: Okay, listener. A very anticlimactic ending. And isn't that okay? [02:49:41] Speaker F: Sometimes? [02:49:42] Speaker A: Life's an incredible adventure. You're an a wonderful part of it. We are going to have something for you next time, let me tell you. And then more shopping and then a bunch of roleplay and who knows, maybe some city shenanigans for the first time in a while. Next time. Life's still an incredible adventure. You're an important part of it. Skibidi, Wap and Dada.
